Damn amazing fish and chips! Other dishes are good and fries are great. This place shines because of their flan game tho. No lie, some of the best flan I’ve had in my life, I’ve had here, and I grew up eating flan in Colombia. In conclusion, come here, food is very delicious and there’s a whole nature-y vibe going on which is very nice.

Never a bad word to say. They changed loactions but I made sure to find them. The staff’s customer service is comparable to going to a friend’s home for a special occasion dinner. The atmosphere is cozy, just the right temperature, beautiful colors and artwork, with music from an array of genres that somehow seem to flow flawlessly. Then there’s the food. My taste buds haven’t been disappointed in the least. Every dish is flavorful, never salty, arranged beautifully and slight substitutions are never an issue, like swapping a boiled egg for a sunny side up one. Of course you can wash it down with one of their wonderful beverages, from sparkling water to strawberry margaritas and their specialty drinks. Great price point as well and family friendly. I was so so impressed by this place! Every single dish that we got was awesome, and the atmosphere was eclectic and cozy. There is a also huge selection of creative cocktails. The marrow and escargot atmosphere is fantastic.

I have been coming to Chez Oscar for a while now, and the food never disappoints. Their croque madame and lamb burger are some of my favorites on the menu. If you have to chose, I’d suggest going there for brunch. The service is good overall, but can take a little bit. Definitely recommend this place.

I’ve been coming here for the past few months and love every minute I can spend here. The staff, food/drinks and ambience are all top notch and the menu is a great value for a dine-in experience. On top of the traditional French eats, the ownership seems to take pride in the details of the music playlist and the beauty of the space—they are always making little changes which shows an excellent attention to detail. The staff are an excellent team—those who know French service know that it can be difficult to hunt down your server for various reasons. This is not the case at Chez Oskar. If your primary server isn’t available to get you the ketchup or put in a drink, any of the other staff are happy to help. I’ve enjoyed getting to know each of them.

I’ve been going to Chez Oskar for years, and it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Bedstuy. Their Croque Madame and Croque Monsieur are to die for. I also think if you go, you should try their cheese boards. With the pandemic, the fabulous ballroom is closed, but the open indoor area still feels very cozy. I also suggest you try their lamb burgers if you are a meat type of person. The only thing I’ll say on the downside is that I personally prefer their brunch menu to their diner menu.

Been meaning to try Chez Oskar for a while and finally got around to it. Overall I loved it, but would use this experience to curate what I order in future since there were three of us and we had 3 courses it was a good opportunity to test what’s worth getting. Drinks: We tried the noisette martini, walnut negroni, and pear 75. All were pretty good. The nut sprinkles on the noisette were a cute touch but annoying to consume, too chunky and meant you have to chew the drink. Nut shavings or grounds would be better. Starters: Chicken liver mousse was tasty af. Ratio of mousse to bread to cornichons was off. You need a piece of cornichon in every bite to cut through the richness of the mousse, and easily an extra slice of bread. Escargots and bone marrow was near-faultless. Onion soup was good but the cheese was a bit overpowering. Not a usual French onion but still good. Entrees: Risotto of the day was rainbow trout with saffron and Dijon. So unusual and delicious. Perfectly cooked. Steak frites was banging. Juicy (get it medium rare I beg you) and flavorful steak, frites were not the crispiest but more fluffy. Could have had more frite and less side salad if anything. Dessert: key lime pie was good, not great. Got it with the limoncello which was objectively the worst thing that landed on our table and came 5 mins after we finished the desserts. Creme brûlée would be better off with regular vanilla bean. A good crème brûlée doesn’t need orange and saffron. Flourless choc cake was very good, comes with a few strawberry slices and vanilla ice cream. Perfect. Service was very French (aka a bit slow and very hands off). We got our starters before any water or drinks and had to ask again for them. If you’re looking for American style overbearing service, don’t expect that here. It wasn’t super busy but I did only see two staff the entire time so I wonder if they were short. If that’s the case they did a decent job of managing it. Knocked off a star for the limoncello, lacklustre crème brûlée and key lime pie, and slightly impaired service. Would definitely go again because the rest was so tasty!

One of the best meals of my trip. The blueberry hazelnut tart with ice cream was out of this world 😁 lovely outdoor eating area!

I've been here twice, both for breakfast and lunch and it's such a cute little spot! The first time I had lunch outside and we had wine and some kind of sandwich with lettuce onions and burrata. I can't recall the name of it or if it's even still offered but it was very tasty. I then went here for brunch and dined inside. I had the eggs Benedict, which consisted of two perfectly poached eggs on toasted sourdough bread, paprika hollandaise sauce, with tossed green salad. I chose the Madrange ham but next time will go for the spinach as it was a little protein heavy for me. The eggs were amazing! This restaurant shines the most in their bread imo. It's really fresh tasting! Keep on the look out for their daily specials and seasonal menu changes. Their wine menu was pretty good as well. I did feel a little rushed both times and had to request a few things (refills, extra butter, the check) ourselves, but other than that this place is a great additional to the neighborhood and I will be going back!

I had a mixed experience here. Went with my family and a local friend for dinner this past Saturday night. I love the way the place looks and feels. Very cool, with great artwork. We got some baby octopus which was served with zucchini... it was pretty good. Also had their French Onion Soup, which was too thick for my taste. My wife loved that it was very sweet, and I agree... flavor was nice. My daughter had a veggie burger, which she didn't like. My friend and I both got Fish and Chips, and it was probably the BEST one I've ever had anywhere, hands down. The fish was juicy inside of a very nice, crispy, fried exterior. I also got a side of vert (sautéed green beans) which were decent & fresh but could have used more garlic. Here's the little thing that bothered the hell out of me... the fries served with the main were quite good. I really wanted to gobble them down, but the plate is served with a SMALL paper cup of ketchup. I appreciate that it's paper and not plastic, but there was only enough ketchup for about 10 fries. We asked the waiter for 3 more ketchup (3 or of 4 of us were short). I think Zeke forgot, as he was getting really busy. In addition to having a large section inside the restaurant, he also had what appeared to be the entire sidewalk. Now... I don't like a waiter to rush or be rushed, so I don't fault him for going at his speed. I respect that. But how did he wind up with so many tables? I know you can get slammed suddenly... but we actually finished our mains before a fellow who may have been the manager asked if we needed anything. Once he reminded the waiter, Zeke came out with a few cups of ketchup on a tray. (That was a cute presentation. Back in my day, I just plopped them all in one hand!) By that time, we were pretty frustrated. I run a few things could be in play here. The weather was pretty nice yesterday. They may not have anticipated that rush of business and understaffed. A host could also have been able to control the rate at which the waiter gets new tables by asking people to wait a few minutes. That can be frustrating for prospectective customers who are starving, but a good host knows how to keep ppl from walking away. But I wish I got a photo of the fries and this little cup of ketchup to show you. They need to at least double the amount of ketchup served if they're not going to be fast about getting back to tables.

One of our favorite neighborhood spots as of late! They never disappoint, both for brunch or for dinner. They have a lamb burger that I dream about and the kids menu is great for our son. He even gets a coloring book and crayons to keep him busy (mom win). Their daily specials are amazing (don't miss the mussels), and they have a full drink menu. LOVE Chez Oskar!

We went for the all-you-can-eat mussels (3 rounds for $25 each). Firstly, I'd recommend the tomato bisque mussels (the coconut curry flavor is lacking in flavor and surprisingly wasn't as good as the tomato flavor). I haven't gone for the other food so I can only speak on the mussels. They are a good deal, not the most delicious in the world but definitely worth going if you're a big mussels fan. We only ate 2 rounds and we were quite full. The fries were good. I swapped my fries for sweet potatoes, and that was delicious but probably part of the reason we didn't eat all 3 rounds. I don't feel a need to go back for the mussels but I would recommend to friends! Taste 6/10 (I added a bit of salt to my mussels and that helped) Quantity 10/10 Ambiance 8/10 Service 7/10 (we had to track our server down after each round and that took a while) Overall experience 7/10

This place seemed bustling when we caught the A or C at Utica, so we decided to make a stop for a family brunch on a weekend. The place was fairly deserted given that we went early, and the staff was incredibly kind. The ambience feels eclectic chic, and I got similar vibes from when I dined in Parisian sidewalk cafes: it was a place where you had "salon-style" conversations over good food and great wine...or, at least, I can imagine that if I were a local. I ordered the eggs benedict, and it was perfectly creamy and unctious. The side salad did its job of cutting through the cream. I wouldn't recommend the nitro cold brew I ordered; for nitro, it was a little bitter. Someone was berating the staff and being snippy about knowing what a negroni was...I feel like the one unfortunate part of this place is that sometimes the clientele can be pretty harsh to the staff. If you're able to relax and revel in a laid back, chatty environment, this is the place for you.

The food was excruciatingly late to our table. Server went out of her way to pamper the table next to us while basically ignoring the fact rain was pouring into the restaurant making the whole dining experience regretful. We had to ask for oil and vinegar twice since salad was not seasoned. It was brought to us by a rather ill-humored busboy. The waitress who did have a pleasant demeanor, kept trying to sell us drinks while waiting forever for our food. Veggie burger was Costco burger. Furthermore, while arriving 15 minutes prior to 7:00, happy hour pricing was not applied to our drinks ( these were actually good but pricey.) A shame, since the place has a local feel that could prove to be charming turned into a nightmare dinner. I blame management. Will never return.

Ambiance and service were great, a perfect balance between elegance and comfort. It's a perfect spot for a romantic date night of family dinner (with teens & up). Food was tasty as usual.

Hey Yelpies, Twice in one week means the food and the drinks were good! I really enjoyed my lamb chops with risotto, they were cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy, just the way lamb chops should be to enjoy. The food was flavorful much appreciated. Drinks were tasty but carefully measured. I had two flavored martinis and felt mildl at best. Both visits the waiters were friendly, polite and engaging, offering great suggestions and checking frequently enough to see if we needed anything. I love the decor quirky and colorful. Very comfortable spot definitely on my list of repeat visits. Check them out you will enjoy.

Really solid French food in the heart of Stuyvesant heights. The food was all clearly fresh and delicious which was great. The service was ok, not overly kind but most of the staff does speak French which is nice. The ambiance is probably the best part! It's very eclectic and super fun and interesting to dine in such a space. They also have a great outdoor space for dining as well which was wonderful.

Chez Oskar was everything i wanted out of a brunch experience. Fantastic food! The best variety of mimosas! A not too bright ambience for a guy with a hangover! Great staff and service! Ill probably come back on my next tour of New York.

Do not rely on their booking service! I made a booking months in advance for Christmas Day - a special occasion for us as we were on vacation from the UK. The booking was confirmed via email so imagine our shock and disappointment when we arrived for our Christmas dinner to find the place closed!!!! No email or call to cancel our booking or inform us of closure. No service, no food, no ambiance and no dinner than evening!!! Chez Oscar - what a let down!!

Love this spot and I hope to go back to it again if I'm ever in NY. The French toast combo was delicious from FT itself to the bacon and the fruit cup. Plus the mimosas here were worth the price and made the experience all the better. Incredible staff as well and wonderful ambiance on the inside with cool interior design and tasteful music selection.

The setting is lovely with a long bar, amazing ceiling art, and lots of intimate tables for 2. Drinks were delightful but food could have used a little more seasoning. I can't remember when I added salt to anything at all restaurant but I needed to for dinner.

Just wow.... I came here all the time for brunch and lunch and/or dinner meetings. But they will not get my business again. The manager on tonight was as rude as he could be. I came for dinner and a meeting with my team. We ordered and took out our lap top to discuss our agenda. We asked the waitress for the wi fi password. She provided it. Then after we got our drinks and appetizers we were told we could not use our lap top during dinner hours. Note.... there was no one there. No sign posted. The manager as rude as he knew how came over and told us we couldn't use our laptop. We explained that we were there for a meeting and have done so a few times before. I told him that we weren't informed when we ordered and we wouldn't stay if we couldn't use our laptop as the was that was our reason we were there. I then told him we wouldn't stay and he promptly removed our appetizers literally while we were talking. It was clear he was being nasty. Not going back. I'm a business owner and I promise, this manager would lose his job

This place was my go-to spot for a year and a half when I was living in the area. Great menu- highlights for me were the classic French Onion Soup, Merguez Frites, the Fish and Chips, and the Key Lime Pie was amazing! Great burgers and fries too. Ideal place for a fun date night, relaxed lunch, or celebration. Worth a stop for sure!

Still a solid place to have a decent drink and good food . I havent come here for years but after leaving the winery we needed some good grub and decided to revisit chez oskar . We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here . I decided to get the mussels (curry because apparently they no longer make any other kind) and it was tasty . My napolita (the drink) was great too . I will say that they have a bug issue and it must be irritating during the summer months now that they have out door seating .

Service was friendly, the decor is wonderful, the food... ehhhh. I got the pasta a la creme which comes with pork belly in it, a nice touch. But the noodles felt a bit undercooked so kind of chewy, and the pork belly was alright but not as moist as I've had at other places. I got a side of spinach which was also just ok as was the wine. The best part was probably the flourless chocolate cake. I came on a busy night and I know sometimes the chefs are rushing food out the door (no excuse but it happens), so I may give it another shot at a less busy time. But overall, my experience of the food doesn't live up to how alluring the place looks.

Great hidden gem in the heart of Bedstuy. We came here on a weekday lunch with no reservations, and were seated quickly. I would recommend the croque madame, which came with a light green salad. The breakfast combo was also a good choice, it came with a side of fruit. The ambiance was chill and the servers were friendly. Would highly recommend!

I was excited to find a French menu in my neighborhood. It's my favorite cuisine. Warmly greeted by a polite well spoken young lady and given my choice of tables. ( As opposed to following someone to where they wanted me to sit) Looking at the menu it had all my favorite items. The bottle of champagne I ordered was misspelled but when I pointed it out to the waiter he was appreciative. I ordered Bone Marrow Escargots(which impressed me having not seen that before) which were delicious. Followed by Mussels in a Coconut Cilantro broth. While the quality of the actual mussels was sub-par the broth they were served in was the best I have had since I started eating mussels 40 years ago! Lastly I ordered the Breast of Duck(probably one of my favorite things on the planet) Which I was unable to enjoy. My waiter left his shift and the order in which I wanted my dinner was affected. Escargot, Mussels, Duck. The duck came before the mussels so I sent it back and waited for the mussels. After the mussels I was brought what I believe to be the original Duck which was now very tough and dried out, I did not eat it. For me that was a deal breaker. I am very well aware that mistakes are made and I suppose I could have eaten the duck when it came out of order but that isn't the way I wanted it. Not being my mistake, I believe the chef should've taken extra care to deliver a moist tender delicious duck in the order which it was ordered. Unfortunate. It was 5 Stars to me before that lack of attention to the guest.

Unfortunately me and my homegirl were quite disappointed with our experience here Tuesday night. The staff were inattentive and slow. At one point I had to ask if anybody was working. The fish had a nice taste and so did the risotto but the risotto was a bit cold. We started with the mussels and those were a bit chewy and overall just not very tasty. I won't be back.

Came back after not being for a few years for brunch and it was divine. The bloody mary's are homemade and excellent. Had the salad nicoise which was filled seared tuna (which can be eliminated) with potatoes, eggs, string beans, lettuce... with a delicious vinaigrette dressing. Nice jazz music, super friendly and attentive bartender (female bartenders know what it's like to dine solo and so make the extra effort to make you feel welcome) and nice vibes all around. I forgot how much I like this place!!!

Food under seasoned, slow service and it looks a bit past its prime. Would NOT recommend.

The food and service were exceptional. This place is a gem and not too far from my residence. This was a great place to take a friend visiting from out of town. My friend enjoyed his entree (the rabbit, I believe). I had their vegetarian option, though I wish there were more vegetarian options. I would definitely come here again and possibly eat outdoors if it's a nice enough day.

My boyfriend wanted to surprise me coming to Chez Oskar for a little dinner date. Never been, but when we arrived, I found the place so cute. It had a cute outdoor seating area with faux vines intertwining. The indoor was another vibe. We ordered: cocktails, grilled octopus, salmon burger with French fries and veal. I think I finished my whole plate of salmon burger + fries. On top of that, ordered another round of drinks - which I don't normally do. Which meant that the food is yum yum yum. Drinks were very special too

I love this place it's a neighborhood gem. I came here with a group of friends for dinner on a Sunday night. We were seated immediately, there doesn't seem to be too much of a rush. The place is really big, with one side for the bar on the other side for the restaurant. Plus the space is really cool very well laid out lots of cool colors I love the artwork on the wall which is like impressionist African-American portraits. The wait stuff was really helpful and accommodating and recommended the Stay in lime for me cocktails as well as the go overboard. They were delicious and really different. The stay in lime was smoky with mezcal and the go overboard was a bourbon cocktail but tasted very different because of the lime and ginger in it. For food, We tried the mussels which were not that great, but the truffle fries were outstanding. we also tried the grilled octopus, which was truly outstanding and I will definitely recommend this and will get it every time I go. We tried a special for the night which was a mushroom risotto with grilled shrimp and that was really well-made and the risotto itself was delicious. We got the cheese platter but I don't really recommend us. And for dessert we tried the flourless chocolate cake which was very decadent and something I'll always get but to be clear it's really rich. We tried the key lime pie as well it's a good pie, it's just not something that I would personally get again. I'll be back again for sure.

Food was subpar, nothing to rave out. We had the mussels and salmon burger which lacked flavor. Also, our waitress didn't bring any water to your table until about 30 minutes into being seated. After requesting it on two occasions. Overall the service was not welcoming and I won't return

it's my fave neighborhood bedstuy spot! service is quick and efficient, food portions are insane, and the flavors are wonderful. my go to: - mussles + fries: -- they don't skimp out on portions, you'll get a ton of mussles! the curry broth is garlicy, hint of spice, and great to dip with the bread! i always take the broth home to eat it the next day! - steak frites: -- steak is always so tender and the dipping sauce that comes with it pairs great! salad is fresh as well, and cuts the heavy meat flavors. - fish + chips -- YUM!!! HUGE PORTIONS OF FISH AND FRIES! the batter is perfectly crispy and the fish is really fresh. this is good for 2 people to share even! they also have great drinks that include unique flavors. you can't go wrong! a wonderful place for friends, date night, or even a solo night. the outside is covered with heaters as well, so come by for a cozy night!

Food is good, service is great, and the ambiance was cute. I appreciated the art reflecting the culture of the area and the manager (possibly owner) giving boxed food to a (presumably homeless) person who passed by asking for food.

I found this place on a best of list of Brooklyn restaurants with outdoor heated seating. Chez Oskar didn't disappoint. The happy hour cocktail prices were based on the temperature. At 40 degrees my authentic mulled wine was $6. At 1 degree it would be $1. My dining companion had the South African red blind canned wine and said it was better than expected. My gruyere burger came with mesclun salad and I upgraded to homemade sweet potato fries. I asked for Dijon mustard on the side. The food was fresh and delicious. We split a creme brûlée which was just perfect. They had overhead heating and also mini fireplaces. I'd like to go for dinner when it gets warmer. Also 10% off with Yelp check in:-)

We were having a casual walk through Brooklyn when we came across this gem! The outside seating was where it was at! Food amazing, service amazing! Lamb burger and home made sweet potato fries!!! So delicious! Home made Arnold Palmer was so refreshing! We will definitely be back before we leave! -The Frazier's from NY :)

CUTE CUTE CUTE! Cute interior, cute drinks, and cute food presentation (that was a stretch, but hear me out). Everything about this place emanates a local vibe; it isn't likely you'll bump into a lost Manhattanite here. Whether you're hoping to have a casual lunch or make a great first impression, Chez Oscar is the spot! I highly recommend the Porn Star Martini and Peach Bellini on their cocktail menu.

The. Lamb. Burger. That's it. That's the review. No, but seriously. Service was great, setting was nice, price was good, and the food was even better. I will be returning, on my next trip back to the city.

I have enjoyed brunch here plenty of times, so I decided to give them a chance with dinner. The service is great & efficient. I started my meal with the Caesar salad. I was taken back by the sardines, however, it was an amazing combination with the salad (I recommend). I was in the mood for some mussels and that is what I got with the garlic spinach and fries. My overall in-person experience was great. I also left with a Togo order of the steak frites and oven roasted chicken for my friends. They did enjoy their food, however their one critic was the lack of flavor. Which is why I gave four stars.

We waited to write this as someone in our party emailed the owners/managers as an FYI but over 3 weeks later, no response. It appears they don't really care, which is unfortunate, as evidenced by lack of replies via email or other reviews we've seen posted online. We ordered 3 burgers and a bottle of wine. The lamb burger (and their fries are awesome, btw) were great. The two regular burgers were a disappointment. One was ordered medium without a bun due to a gluten allergy (your server was great to mention that the fries are cooked in the same oil where gluten is present, kudos for that), but there was no real alternative to not having a bun (no lettuce wrap, no offer to put it on a salad, a different starch, etc.) Not a big deal but a little surprising. The second burger was ordered medium-rare with no mods. Both burgers arrived overcooked--well done to be exact. We decided to send the supposed medium-rare one back, but it seemed like it was a little bit of a production; the staff seemed shocked and annoyed, glad we didn't send both back! Surprisingly, there was no apology; again, not a big deal. The server took the burger with the toppings back to the kitchen and left the plate with fries so the diner could eat while the burger was remade. This was appreciated, but when they brought the new burger out, there were no burger toppings included, it was literally the burger and bun on a small plate. We didn't bother asking for new toppings since everyone was already bothered by us. Honestly, the burger should've come replated with fresh fries and a new toppings, that's typical of service. The most unexpected part, imo, there was no effort by staff or management to check if the burger was ok after it was remade. To be fair it was, but shouldn't someone check? It seemed like another diner, not with us, also sent his burger back, but we were unaware of the specifics. We were not looking for comped food or a fine dining experience, just normal service. It's not often we send food back, we know what it's like behind the scenes, we've spent time in the industry. My guess being Memorial Day, the normal staff wasn't there, but I assume there was a manager present? Disappointing, sorry to say!

I sat outside for a lovely dinner at this place. It's a French restaurant with a lot of interesting things on the menu, such as rock shrimp & sweet potato croquettes, grilled swordfish, and lamb tartare. I opted for a lamb burger that I ended up enjoying SO SO much. I've never had lamb with goat cheese before, and now I must have that all the time! The fries were good too! We all shared elderflower creme brulee for dessert... WHAT A TREAT!!! I had never even heard of that, but apparently it's more popular than I originally thought. I can count the times I've been to a French restaurant, and this visit was not a disappointment!

After a day of tennis I ran into this place. Thank God I did. I sat with a friend and had lunch on the patio. I didn't get a chance to see the inside but the patio suffice. The patio had hella room and the weather was perfect. My cocktail choice was the pornstar martini (a vodka martini, with hints of passion fruit and some bubbly) I def recommend. I had my mind set on the lamb burger but God spoke to me and said to get the Fish and Chips and boy was he right (as always LOL) . The fish was fried to perfection and the portion was more than enough. I'll def be back.

Let me start off by saying the drink was very OVERPRICED and water down, it seem to not have any alcohol in it. The eating utensils were dirty we had to ask for new ones. Famous lamb burger was just OK. Their Choice of a burger bun is bad. When the buns toasted it's very dry and hard as a rock. The vegetables for the burger was very OLD and tasted like the refrigerator..The Crab cake was the best thing about that place, it's also OVERPRICED and it just one CRAB CAKE. Don't recommend

My friend and I decided to have dinner here on a week day and it was a great experience! I hadn't heard of this french bistro but when I walked in I was instantly impressed by the space. The ceiling itself has a hand painted mural and the bar area is very appropriate for the neighborhood. When it came time to order i decided to get the namesake burger with a side of their house fries. A solid burger with no complaints! The service here was amazing and the vibes as the night continued here was also great. I'd recommend coming here for dinner with a small group for a guaranteed great evening.

I came last Sunday (5/2) for brunch. Normally not a goat cheese fan but this changed my mind haha. We got a goat cheese tartine to start-- so perfect. A warm slice of cheese on sourdough with jam drizzled on top. I got the egg sandwich and my bf got the Mergeuz frites. Both with a side argyle salad. My bf loved his and my sandwich was loaded but delicious Drinks !! Prickly pear mimosa and prickly peak Margarita is a must get. If you enjoy beer, definitely check out the Juice bomb IPA

This place has a nice ambiance, the workers were very nice and helpful, and if you check in on help you get 10% off which discounted our entire bill. The prices were very fair and I would like to give this place they 4th star but give 3 since only 1 out of 5 of really loved what we ate. That one item was the lamb burger. Everyone else had standard brunch items and I can't say anyone was really impressed. Certainly wasn't bad either and all together was still a very positive experience!

Had a relaxing Sunday afternoon with a delicious meal, friendly company, soothing libations, and passing time. Cool breeze and appealing decor all made this a beautiful Sunday outdoors.

The food was ehh. The fries and Toast-tine were the best part of the meal. Lamb burger was more like a big meatball with a bun, veggie burger tasted like veggie stock in a solid form. The menu is diverse and the dishes smelled good as they passed so I would try this place again.

First time visiting this restaurant after passing by it several times. It's always packed day and night. I happened to come here during brunch. I got the mussels in garlic and cream (moules marinieres) and it was OK at best. There wasn't much of a cream aspect. The spicy lamb burger on the other hand was fantastic! I switched out the goat cheese with gruyere and so glad I did. I would definitely get this again. This is definitely a place for burgers no so much French dishes.

Went on the night if the 21st anniversary so the specials were really great. Love the atmosphere and overall feeling of this french bed-stuy staple. Food was lacking in flavor a bit. Mussels tasted More like being dunked in wine then cooked in them. The spicy Lamb burger was the star, as well as the escargots! The flavor of those snails alone lended on more star to the total experience.
