Chez Sophie, rooms & suites

The hotel was a wonderful stay! The location is perfect – just a two-minute walk from the beach and very close to restaurants and shops, yet quiet and relaxed. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the small pool area with sunbeds and chairs. The staff were kind and welcoming, and helped us with whatever we needed. Two small downsides for us were the thin blankets, which weren’t enough, and the breakfast – while convenient to have at the hotel, the variety of options was limited. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Amazing time at Chez Sophie. Best location just a short walk to the most beautiful part of the beach next to the mountain and the old church. My husband and I stayed in room 104 with our children. Plenty of room for all of us. The breakfasts are great, as is in pool. If you're lucky, you may meet Roxy, the owner's adorable sweet old dog out for her evening walk. A very nice and comfortable hotel where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to stay again. Highly recommend. Be sure to eat at Panakio over by the stadium, but you can get there by walking along the beach and turning left up towards the stadium. We ate there twice. It was excellent and recommended by the owner of Chez Sophie.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Communication with the staff was excellent throughout our stay, and they were always happy to help with any questions or requests. The hotel is in a great location — close to everything we needed, and just a short walk to the beach. We would gladly return and highly recommend this place to others looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. A special thank you to Nikos, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. His attentiveness and kindness truly made a difference.

Mr. Nick and the rest of the staff were friendly, kind, helpful, accommodating, and respectful. We came from Texas, USA as a family of 6 and loved it here. Our rooms 101 and 102 were always clean, well-kept, and had no issues whatsoever. The Air Conditioning worked GREAT always and the bathroom had showers that worked very well. The whole grounds were kept so clean and the breakfast was always more than enough and tasted great. Kamari Beach and the surrounding area is perfect for families with kids. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the front gate and the closest restaurant is Captain’s Corner which was our favorite. I recommend families stay HERE because Kamari is just as good as it gets, so relaxing and fun.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chez Sophie a week or so ago. Fabulous hotel, the location was perfect and it was such a comfortable place to stay. Kamari is lovely and the people are so welcoming. The staff were all so helpful and friendly and you could really appreciate that it's a family run hotel. Superb hotel in the heart of Kamari. Close to the beautiful beaches, lovely tavernas and local shops. Staff were extremely helpful, kind, welcoming and friendly, always on hand to help book trips and give advice. We highly recommend Chez Sophie for anyone travelling to Santorini 5 🌟

We stayed at the hotel with our four children and were amazed with the incredible hospitality, great communication, attention to detail, and wonderful location near the beach. We were able to walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes and loved exploring Ancient Thira (nearby). Nikos was very thoughtful, patient, and so helpful with all of our questions and requests throughout our stay. The pool is amazing, the hotel is well designed and maintained. Our family loved the patio areas outside of each room- it was great for visiting and relaxing together. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend Chex Sophie to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing, quiet, comfortable place to stay in Santorini.

Fantastic accommodation on Kamari Beach. Great location to walk around and visit all the restaurants, shops and bars. Rooms are absolutely incredible and hotel area is nice and quiet. Definitely recommend!
