"CHĪ Asian Kitchen at the Strat is celebrating with two new menu items: a garlicky Cantonese lobster served with noodles and ginger, and spicy Shanghai pepper prawns with jalapeños and fried noodles. You can also toast the new year with a lunar moon shadow cocktail– cognac with yuzu and raspberry marmalade with a rabbit design printed on top. It’s available from January 20 through February 5." - Ryan Slattery

Interesting bicycle decor adorned our dining area. We were immediately seated at 5pm with no reservation. We ordered Summer Salad, Korean Short Rib Skewers with cucumber salad and the Salt & Pepper Calamari for appetizers. The salad and ribs were great, but we sent back the calamari for being extremely overcooked. We ordered the Orange Chicken and half Peking Duck for dinner. The duck was delicious, as was the Orange Chicken. Service was good, with the server regularly checking on us. A few times we did have to repeat our requests. Overall, a nice visit.

Google
The restaurant is nice with cool decor. Service was good but a little slow for how slow they were. The food was a mixed bag. The calamari was overcooked and tasted like frozen prebreaded squid. The sauce on the pork belly bao buns was too rich for us. The spicy edamame was very different but good with a spicy szechuan sauch. The bulgogi fried rice was the meal saver. It had a classic comfort food feeling. The mochi ice cream was very good too.

You have no choice if you stay at hotel STRAT. The food here is good, they offer all kinds of Asian food including Thai Curry, Pho and other styles. BUT, the service is very very very slow, you have to wait long enough time to get someone comes to your table for any needs. Overall, it’s a good place to hang out!

Google
Nice ambience and decor, food was also good, but not great as it was more on the lower spectrum of taste profiles. The service was disappointing... We waited a good 5 mins for our waitress to greet us and take drink orders. It also took longer than expected to get our food. We had to waive our waitress down every time we needed something, even for the check.

My gosh the food here were outstanding! The portion were very generous! The decor was unique. The waiter and waitress were friendly. We enjoyed our time there, and we will come back the next time we're in Vegas!

Chi at the Stratosphere took me by surprise, and I mean that in the best way possible. Despite the fact that the Stratosphere is one of my least favorite casinos to visit on the Strip, because of its location on the Strip, Chi turned out to be a hidden wonder that I'm glad I discovered while out and about for work. I was particularly blown away by the Kung Pao noodles- they were simply amazing. The texture was perfect, with just the right amount of chewiness, and the flavor was rich and complex. It's rare to find Kung Pao noodles that leave such a lasting impression, but these did. The Bulgogi Fried Rice also deserves a special mention. I've had my fair share of every type of fried rice you can imagine, but this was, without a doubt, some of the best I've ever had. The balance of ingredients, the seasoning, and the overall taste were all spot on. It's the kind of dish that you could easily make a meal out of on its own. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this culinary surprise.

The bottom line is that I did not like my experience. When we made our reservation, we asked for a standard table, not a high top. Surprise surprise, the manager tried to give us a high top and did not work with the front to get our wishes right, and he was very… jumpy We got our drinks right away, but the people next to us WAITED 20 MINUTES for drinks, but do not forget that the ice tea they severed me is one of the best I have ever had. But also do not forget we waited a half hour for our appetizer and got our food 5 minutes after that The chicken on the "chicken fried rice" was undercooked and was not up to standards and was also extremely dry. We asked for the hoisin sauce in an attempt to make the chicken more bearable, and it was one dollar and was a very small amount. With my "XO shrimp noodles," I got a total of FOUR SHRIMP, and some of the food was burnt. Actually, the chicken fried rice had more food in it, and the cost less. I'm not happy with my visit. Will not come again.

I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service from Kevin, who undoubtedly ranks as the best bartender I have ever encountered. His dedication and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the delectable beef soup that was served to me, as it was prepared with utmost skill and tasted absolutely divine. Furthermore, the tea provided was of exceptional quality and greatly enhanced my overall dining experience.

Yelp
I will be back whenever I am in town. This bowl was so good I brought the left overs on the plane and finished it off at home and it was still very tasty. Toms of well cooked seafood with a very tasty broth/sauce!!' Did note disappoint! The portions and prices are fair considering it's in a hotel on the strip. A must try!

Yelp
We tried this restaurant that was in our hotel because my BF cause saw an advertisement at vallet of food he wanted come to find out it is not longer served!! For starters we enjoyed Spicy Szechuan Dumplings & Korean Short Rib Skewers Both were absolutely flavorful and so yummy!! I ordered the BBQ Pork Fried Rice which was Ok a little dry for my liking. My bf ordered Mongolian Beef which was very flavorful and delicious. This was an Ok restaurant for both of us unfortunately no Wow factors!!!

Yelp
A Disappointing Change** I've been a loyal customer of Chī, Asian Kitchen for a while, and one of the highlights of every visit was indulging in their exceptional shrimp shumai. This delectable dish, with its perfectly steamed wrapper and succulent filling, was a true culinary delight and a standout on the menu. In fact, it was better than any shumai I've tasted at dim sum restaurants in Vegas. However, on my recent visit, I was disheartened to find that the shrimp shumai had been removed from the menu. This change is a significant loss for the restaurant, as the shumai was not just a favorite of mine, but a dish that I recommended to friends and family time and again. While the rest of the menu still offers a variety of tasty options, none compare to the unique flavor and texture of the shrimp shumai. Its absence leaves a noticeable void in the dining experience. I sincerely hope the management reconsiders their decision and brings back this beloved dish. Until then, Chī, Asian Kitchen just won't be the same. I hope management reads the reviews.

Yelp
Red lighting, concrete-jungle inspired decor, & calmness get me every time I come in. I haven't eaten here numerous times, but each time I've been, I am tummy-satisfied. The only thing I was expecting was to sit at the bar for Happy Hour & have a cocktail since it was 4pm, but nobody arrived until 430pm & I had plans afterwards at Atomic Golf. I ordered the beef chow fun cooked with white & green onions & marinated beef, but before...I've had the sticky pork ribs, pan-seared dumplings, combo fried rice, & crab wontons which were all good.

Yelp
We decided to have dinner here before a seeing a show at the Strat. Unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed overall at the service, food and price overall. Our server started out good about taking our order, but I think she forgot we were her table since we never saw her again. A food runner brought out food out, we never saw here again, and I have to go hunt her down for the check and she then realized that she neglected to visit our table the entire time. We decided to try the crab wontons, pot stickers and bulgogi fried rice. The wontons and pot stickers were good, especially the sauce that came with the wontons. With the pot stickers, you do get your choice for steamed or fried which is nice. The bulbogi fried rice was ok. It was a large enough portion for us to split but it really did not have much taste to it. I added soy sauce and used the wonton sauce with mine. Also, something did not sit well with my wife's or my stomach (may have been something they used to cook with). Overall, for the price, service and quality and quantity of the food, we not impressed since we have eaten at so many better resturants in Las Vegas (particularly in China Town area).

Yelp
Delicious food! Great service! Ambiance was very nice. Definitely one of the highlights of staying at the Strat hotel. Definitely would return to Chi and try other food items. Only thing I didn't care for was my drink but unfortunately I can't recall the name of it.

Yelp
I went here around opening on Saturday to get some early dinner. This seems to be a popular spot as there were many parties waiting outside a few minutes before opening, but that is mostly because the place hasn't opened yet. The restaurant layout provides some themes across, with an emphasis of street / alley vibes. There are plenty of seating. My friend and I shared the Shanghai scallion pancake, pork belly bao bun, spicy Szechuan dumplings, and XO shrimp noodles, which was a good amount of food for 2 people. This was 3 appetizers and 1 entree. The scallion pancakes were okay - not that flavorful as they skimped on the green onions, but the sauce provided did add some flavor. The pork belly bao bun was excellent - slightly sweet yet savory, and the pork belly has not much fat yet very tender. The spicy Szechuan dumplings were honestly not that spicy - it has the delicious chili oil that I find fairly addicting, but it did not really have a spicy kick to it. The XO shrimp noodles were spicier than the spicy Szechuan dumplings, and it was executed fairly okay. They say they use egg noodles, but there were some leftover udon noodles within, which I find a bit strange. They only gave a few pieces of shrimp, so that makes the dish not that worth; the rest is vegetables and noodles. I would expect a bit more for $23. Service is excellent as they check up on you regularly and make sure the water cup is close to full. This is especially helpful when Vegas at this time is extremely hot, so stay hydrated!

Yelp
The food, drinks and service was amazing. This was my first time in Vegas and I was very pleased. The portions are sized to share. We. Had a party of 12 and paid $720.

Yelp
Wanted Asian food walked over. Read the outside menu Hostess took her time seating me Sat at a table chair has a short leg. Traded chairs Waited for ever for a server. The place wants you to think it's high end The restaurant has some size but was not to busy Server came over and took my order. Food arrived fast Chicken was very hot tasted good not great like others have said and was not as ordered I finished the meal before my drink refill arrived. Food was good I would order it again. Service was slow

Yelp
Chi Asian Kitchen sits towards the rideshare drop off entrance of the Strat Hotel. It feels like it's in a more secluded area of the hotel and strip but don't let that fool you! It's hip, draws a nice line from authentic to classy and is well worth trying out. Taste: 4/5 Ambience: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Value for money: 4/5 We had: 1) Wonton Noodle Soup - Tasty and well on point 2) Spicy Beef Tan Tan Udon Soup - a bit on the sour side p if you're not a fan of that, beware, otherwise it was good!

Yelp
My friend and I were absolutely starving since we hadn't eaten anything all day and it was approaching evening time. Luckily, since we had a room at The Strat, we decided to take our chances and grab dinner downstairs at CHĪ Asian Kitchen. Between the two of us, we ordered three dishes: Spicy Szechuan Dumplings, Bulgogi Fried Rice, and the XO Shrimp Noodles. We actually couldn't finish what we ordered, but a third friend of ours showed up and we just offered what we had left for him to eat. Even after he was finished eating, we still had leftover. Given that it is Las Vegas, and this place is located on the strip, we did have to wait a little bit before we were seated. It wasn't that long of a wait though. The service was good and interactive with conversation, which was pleasant.

Angela G.

Yelp
We went with our Friends we absolutely loved the Food it was delicious . And the service was amazing . Our Waitress Marisa went above and beyond . We would definitely go again the next Time we stay in the Strat. Thx again Marisa what a great Service

Yelp
This place is upscale and located inside The Strat! Dim lights and big booths! A lot of different types of seating available. The food selections are varied! The drink selection is good. More wines than other items *warning alcoholic drinks are expensive* The staff were very friendly and totally helpful. I gladly endorse their style of service! The host, the manager, the server and the runner! The food and drinks were top quality and expedient! Restrooms in the casino. Lots of room parking and even better if you're staying at the hotel!

Jonathan F.

Yelp
Moderately disappointed. While the decorations were nice, they were really an obfuscation for what was really going on inside. Food- The fried rice was really yummy. The best part of the meal. Ox tail - My wife thought it was just ok. Wonton - terrible. Full of noodles, and just a few wontons. Also cold. Service is the biggest complaint. The waitress took our order, but never came back to see if we needed anything else. Which we did. We sat for what seemed like long intervals waiting for refills for our children's lemonade, any attentiveness, and even our check. I don't know if we were being ignored, but it really felt like it. The check finally arrived, and it was $89 for the meal. I notice now that all checks here have suggested tip levels, starting at 18%. In reality, I work for tips. I am a very generous tipper. Tip stands for To insure prompt service. Which was totally missing from this "dining experience." I left 15%, because they "earned it." I wish we hadn't gone here. I would have rather bet $100 on red or black in the casino.

Yelp
Second time eating here and another great experience. I got the Kung Pao chicken noodles and they were superb 10/10. Great place to stop at if at the Strat in Vegas

Yelp
I'm please with the food. Ordering to go from the bar could have been a more pleasant int

Yelp
Located in the Strat Casino this little gem was a pleasant surprise. Good atmosphere and an attentive server made for a pleasant dining experience. The overhead music, however, was a little too loud and made conversation difficult. Food was excellent!!

Patty G.

Yelp
This place was so bomb. The king pao noodles were my favorite they were absolutely delicious. The bulgogi rice was also super yummy everyone loved the food. If I stay at the strat again I'll definitely be back

Mish L.

Yelp
Don't order delivery through GrubHub for this restaurant. This was a $93 order and this was all we got. Complete rip off. *Edit* after we tried the food, we were even more angry because it didn't even taste good! The ribs were burnt to char and they tried to mask it with the sauce, but sauce can't hide when you're eating charcoal. The Korean Fried Chicken we ordered came as buns when we were expecting actual chicken wings, so that was already upsetting. They should have noted that these were baos and not actually Korean fried chicken, because there wasn't anything actually Korean about this. It was just blandly breaded chicken that had a little heat. The buns when the pickled radish did nothing to add to the dish either. The only thing that was good was the egg tarts. We threw everything else away because as much as we tried to eat it, we just couldn't. Horrible food that came with greedy prices. 0/10

Yelp
My husband and I ate here for our first meal together as husband and wife and it was divine! Service was excellent too! Maryann B. was our server on 11/11. We ordered bulgogi rice that was delightful! One bowl was enough for 2 people and we ordered 2 so we had plenty of leftovers! We also ordered crab wonton and it was also delicious! The iced teas were refreshing and had a very good flavor! Cute glasses also! This restaurant is very cute and lovely! Only issue was that they thought we ordered wonton soup and we said crab wontons, but I'm sure it was only a miscommunication. Pretty pricy so it's not an everyday meal to have. Would definitely recommend and we will surely be back to visit!

Nadine C.

Yelp
When I moved to Vegas last year, I had my first dinner at Chi. The bulgogi fried rice was absolutely amazing and it had become my favorite dish, followed by the calamari and the oxtail soup. The servings are large, the service is great and they have two of the best bartenders that I have ever met and I'm a bartender. Definitely worth a try and a revisit.

Abrahan S.

Yelp
Located at the Strat Hotel and Casino you find this hidden gem. The place is cozy and welcoming, the staff provided us with excellent service and the food was delicious.

Yelp
Overall: 4.2/5 (dine in) Came here for a quick dinner before we went to the Skypod. The ambiance is nice. There's some cool decor in the hallway but it's pretty normal at the main dining space in front of the bar. Prices aren't too bad for a hotel restaurant on the Strip. Heart of Dragon ($18): Wow this drink was really good! I love all the flavors they used for it - rose water, lychee, yuzu. Definitely recommend. Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs ($14): These ribs are different from your typical ribs. It's like a crispy coat you would get if you grill the ribs on the outside but it doesn't have the burnt/smoked taste. The sauce is also interesting and doesn't taste like sweet & sour to me. Salt & Pepper Calamari ($14): My husband's favorite dish of the night. The calamari was really fresh and the flavors were good. I like the generous amount of pepper they give. Pork Belly Buns ($13 for 2): This was good overall but I had better ones out here. Buns were nice and soft. I like how they give a lot of stringed cucumbers but it was heavy on the hoisin sauce. Oxtail Noodle ($19): Big portion & filling. They gave the perfect amount of oxtail meat which was also tender. The noodles were springy and pretty fresh. I love the broth which has a lot of flavors but is not umami (like ramen).

Yelp
I liked the vibe immediately and I wasn't sure if they had a dress code & they do. Men (identifying as men) can't wear tanks. The hostess didn't say anything about how folk identify, I just added that little ditty because it's Vegas‍ I loved the decor and lighting. There are little couple cozy spots throughout the layout and other group seating where the lighting isn't as romantic & dim. Maria served me today & she was amazing with a warm smile and sweet disposition. If I had a long day at work or was escaping family drama, I'd run here You can eat alone or bring your crew. I felt there were a few fusions, like what I considered pho, but with udon noodles. I ordered the oxtail pho & plum wine. Both met expectations. It has beef broth base with bok choy and green pinion. The oxtail is tender too. This definitely added to the reimagining done by the stratosphere. They have sake, beer, wine, and signature cocktails. The price fits in with other hotel features and the portions are enough. The presentation is professional! I would eat here again, but it wouldn't be as regular as I would like because vegetarian options are limited. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars.

Ken C.

Yelp
pho broth was weak. taste of curry was unlike any I've ever tasted. Awful. service was good. ambiance....awful loud music and drums made it difficult to have a conversation.

Timothy R.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, fantastic food, at decent prices for Vegas. I opted for the Ni Hao Cucumber martini as my drink choice. When I saw the restaurant logo emblazoned on the foam top of my drink, I was super-impressed. And when I tasted it, I was even more impressed. Major mixology going on here. My menu choice was the Seafood Yakisoba. Nice, big shrimp and scallops cooked to perfection matched the lightly cooked veggies and excellent noodles. With the cocktail, it was even better. And the service was exemplary. What's even more surprising is that this establishment is at the Strat, which is not the most highly-rated casino in town. So, skip the accommodations there and just go for the food. The Asian fusion at Chi is worth your effort to get there.

Tori M.

Yelp
5 STARS honestly the food was amazing but the real star of the show was the iced water. We came in very thirsty after a long drive to Vegas and were greeted with nice iced cold water- even had it refilled about 4/5 times! We would recommend coming here even if you're just looking for a nice iced glass of water! Food was good here's pics!

Jesus T.

Yelp
Great place to dine solo, date night or with the family. I enjoyed the great service from when I was seated by the host to the waitress and the cleaning staff. I ordered a water, Dr Pepper, Mongolian Beef and Port, Shrimp, Mushroom Dim Sum. I enjoyed the flavors with each bite. Looks like they have a decent Bar. FYI, have your phone camera ready when you head over to the Self Parking structure, you have to scan the QR code. Once you click on the link, the lift gate will open and you will get a text which starts your time. Before you head back out before to click on the link that was text to you and add your payment option. To avoid a long delay when you exit. I wanted dessert, but I was stuffed. So, that means I just have to comeback again and try it out.

Becky K.

Yelp
Asian fusion restaurant located inside the stratosphere casino. We were looking for somewhere to dine on a Friday night. Luckily, we were able to make a reservation on OpenTable and we were seated right away when we arrived at about 9 PM. The decor of the restaurant is super cool and you feel like you were in a Chinese Street market. Look up and you will see two very cool dragons that span down the main corridor. I had the cucumber martini to start. For our appetizer, we had the calamari which was delicious. For my meal I had the Kung Pao chicken. It was spicy, but tolerable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, the wait staff was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable for the strip.

Julie K.

Yelp
I was a bit leery in coming here because for me, there aren't a lot of Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas that I would recommend. My roommate was parking his car when I walked in, no reservations. The hostess put me at ease immediately and was very warm and friendly as she led me to a table. All of the staff that we encountered were professional and friendly, including the manager who checked in with us several times and gave me the manufacturer of the tea I had had with dinner. Decor was upscale and the background music was hip and gave off club vibes. My roommate and I shared multiple dishes, including charred green beans (an appetizer that was huge!), house fried rice without any meat added, and Mongolian beef. All were delicious and we had enough for another meal at home. I also tried the specialty hand-rolled oolong tea, which was good and came steeping in its own teapot. I would definitely come back here to dine on Chinese food at the Strat.

Chelle N.

Yelp
We had a fabulous time for my mom's b'day! The whole staff especially Maria and Leo were extremely helpful. Food was delicious and they were attentive to us the whole time. I highly recommend this hidden gem inside the Stratosphere Hotel, LV. Definitely will be coming back on our next trip. Thank you to everyone and keep up the great work!

Yelp
Chi Asian Kitchen Server, Maryann ( 5 Starts ) she was Excellent. Headed to the strip for a show and a one night staycation. - we were in the mood for Ramen (and there's a ton of options throughout the area) - but we were jonesing for Oxtail Soup and we noticed that Chi Asian Kitchen offered it on the menu - so made a reso and headed over once we checked into our Hotel (The Mirage/Hard Rock-Unity) which was a short cab ride away. First of all when reading the reviews I was apprehensive to go here but sometimes you have to read between the lines of unhappy customers for silly reasons and check it out for yourself - we were glad that we did. (You'll probably feel that way too) Appearance and feel is modern/industrial Upon arrival we were seated quickly - we ordered up a beer and a pot green tea which was served with plate of sliced lemons and honey sticks. Note: the tea is not complementary so you have to pay for it - I found that was a bit of downer but it is unlimited so if your into tea like I am then I guess it's not too bad of deal because your going to drink more than one pot -HA (Most Asian restaurants I go to offer tea with your meal at no charge)- no big deal but I wanted to mention it. We started with an appetizer order: Bar B Q Pork Ribs - cooked perfectly with a yummy sauce/glaze (finger licking food). Shanghai Scallion Pancake that came with a dipping sauce, it tasted great but the dish was rather small and honestly I would not order it again because of the small size, basically the price to food quantity ratio (for pancakes) made this dish way to expensive for what you get. Usually the Scallion Pancakes are larger than a small triangle. Main course : Oxtail Soup- this delivered on all levels, flavor, taste, size of the bowl & presentation - OUTSTANDING - plenty of meat, Spice Beef Tan Tan with Udon - was to "Die For" - the broth and the spicy beef were off the map - the dish was accompanied with baby Bok Choy perfectly cooked (soft and velvety with a slight crunch) and oh so good Udon noodles - Great Dish! The best part of these dishes is that were wasn't any grease/fat - this allowed the flavors to really come out with each bite. Now going back to past reviews I really dont understand the low rating but currently this place is 5 Star. Another Cool Option is that they offer a private dinning room - see pics. Thank You Staff & Chef's at Chi Asian Kitchen.

Yelp
The service was pretty rough, and the food was mediocre. Low for Vegas prices but still, under-performed. They brought our app after my wife and I finished dinner. Of course they charged us for it. Underwhelming!!!

Rubi T.

Yelp
Still very upset with how rude the hostess was with my disabled mother. She requested a lower table when we were still brought to a high table, and when she couldn't withstand the pain in her back anymore, she moved to the lowered seating (the place was really empty). The hostess came up to my mother and said she needs the table, making the customers she was trying to seat, visibly uncomfortable. They tried to ask the hostess for another seating arrangement and she simply refused to accommodate, like she did with us, forcibly removing the chair my mom was previously sitting on and pushing it away to replace for the guests that didn't even want that table... All those empty tables and she chose to move my disabled mother out the way. The only one star is because I have to give one, and our waitress really helped me keep my composure, with HER professionalism. If you're not personable, do not be in the service industry. Does not make it better that she said her food tasted like it was old leftovers mixed with new. Mine was ok.

Yelp
The Chi a wonderful restaurant with excellent food and service located in the Stratosphere Hotel. We decided on Chi after a long day of travel, flight and the convenience that it is/was located in our hotel. I am so glad we did. What really stood out to me once we where seated was the very beautiful and very tasteful table decoration. Our friendly waiter came promptly, took our order and only after a short edit or food arrived. Everything, from our starter to my noodles and my hubby's rice was super tasty. I ordered jasmine tea with my dinner. So delicious!!!!! Try it out when you are visiting the Strat. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
"Salt and pepper are free. We also charge for hot water." Nice servers. Good food. Grumpy hostess taking out her bad day on the servers. What really got me was the server's comment that they charge for all condiments, like sciracha and chili oil. . But, hey, "salt and pepper are free."

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing! The portions are huge. You will definitely not go hungry. Pricing is great for the amount of food you get. We went on a Monday afternoon for a late lunch early dinner, so it wasn't very crowded but the service was perfect. Our food came out hot and the atmosphere in the restaurant is beautiful.

Yelp
!! This place was AMAZZZING !! The food was all so delicious!! We got the seafood curry, honey shrimp, orange chicken and the spicy veggies (I forgot the name of it) We brought my parents here as well because it was so darn good !! Wish the Strat hotel had microwaves so we could reheat the food we couldn't finish because we ordered a little bit everything !! The service was really friendly !! The restaurant itself was clean and really nice !! We are DEF going here again when we are in town !!

Yelp
Within the Strat is this exquisite Asian restaurant, it's well appointed with excellent service. I had the Cucumber Salad-fresh, crisp, and tasty!, and the Black Cod-rich with great depth of flavor. It's not a big portion but the Black Cod is so rich and very satisfying you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Omg!!! I stayed in the Stratosphere hotel and was just blown away by this amazing restaurant. The ambiance gives a great romantic vibe. We didn't have reservations but they were able to get us in a table in the back near the bar area. Which was super nice. The restaurant was nice and busy. The food was amazing. I've never had dim sum dumplings and these bad boys were delicious. Everything we ordered came out nice and hot. My boyfriend demolished the orange chicken. He loved it. I had the Mongolian beef. It wasn't too spicy, the meat was super tender and flavorful. The vegetables had a good crunch to them. I was so excited I had leftovers to bring back home to Chicago. Those ribs are to die for. The sauce on them should be in a bottle and sold!!

Yelp
The food was on point. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The garlic edamame had the perfect balance of spice with the chili sauce. The scallion pancakes was a small portions but had a delicious delicateness. The fried rice was well seasoned but o ok 4 shrimp. The bar tender was very nice. We ordered the food to go. The only issue was there was no lid for my tea or club soda.

Yelp
Dined at Chi on Wednesday 12/27/23. Restaurant was about 3/4 sat, not too busy. The hostess at the front was extremely rude, acted like she really didn't want to be there. Only reason why I didn't leave one star was because Server Justin was very personable, great personality, and had great service skills. He even offered us 2 sake shots due to the long wait with nothing to eat. Other than him, everything else was an absolute disaster. We order at 6:59pm, we got nothing to eat until 7:46. Once the food finally made it out, we realized they forgot our oxtail noodles (1 of 4 dishes we ordered). Definitely won't be back, and it's a shame because the restaurant renovation and ambience is quite nice and what food we did try before boxing everything was pretty tasty. Management needs to step it up.

Yelp
A reason to come back to the Strat. This restaurant has been open for just over two weeks, and I decided to give it a try as I had a show at the Strat. I called and made a reservation. When I arrived, I was promptly taken to a high two top in the bar area. There are several small alcoves with a few tables also. The place is good for the solo diner because there are several seating options without taking up a four top. My server was Roann and she was great! She answered my questions about portion sizes. I decided to try the garlic teriyaki chicken donburi. Roann brought my iced tea quickly and she brought me a second one later before I had finished the first one. Great service! The donburi was a new dish for me and it was quite good. The teriyaki on the fried chicken on rice also had nori, scallions, a soft boiled egg, and soem sesame. It was a great combination with the teriyaki sauce adding to the rice. I had a bit of a wait, but I was able to watch the World Series game and that passed the time quickly. For dessert, I got the egg tarts. Small treats with fresh fruit and a fruit spread were a perfect ending to the meal. I enjoyed the décor of the CHI and the great food and service made for a pleasant start to my evening. I'll be back soon!

Yelp
This is a really great addition to the Strat's restaurant scene. Really a cool, contemporary atmosphere with some modern spins on Asian cusine. I didnt see anyone handpulling noodels on site but the ones I got in my dish sure tasted like they were. They have a full bar with artisan cockltails, asian beers and a great staff. I would defintiely go again.

Yelp
We stopped at Chi in the Strat for lunch. It's an Asian street food styled restaurant serving.... rethought Asian street food. We ordered a couple large format beers, and the crab wontons (rangoons), pork belly bao buns, and the salt and pepper calamari. The crab wontons were pretty typical, and the pork belly bao buns very good with a sweet soft bun, hoisin, and peanuts. I misunderstood the salt and pepper calamari. It wasn't salt and black pepper, it was salt and chilis, and pretty spicy. That said it was very good.
