"Chinatown is home to lots of late-night dining options and Chi Cafe is among the best. The extensive menu offers everything from congee and noodles to chicken, pork, and seafood dishes — and at wallet-friendly prices. The sizzling beef is a favorite." - Jeffy Mai

"When it’s 1am and you want sizzling beef, salt and pepper squid, congee, or just about anything else, Chi Cafe in Chinatown Square is your answer. This place is open 4pm-2am almost every day of the week, which means it has you covered for dinner, second dinner, drunk dinner, and hangover. The menu is long, so make sure your friend you’ve been out with all night doesn’t fall asleep while deciding what to order. Be prepared for this place to get slammed when the bars close." - adrian kane, john ringor

"Chinatown is home to plenty of late-night dining establishments and Chi Cafe is among the busiest. The affordable, all-encompassing menu has everything from congee and noodle soups to beef, pork, chicken, and seafood entrees. The restaurant is open until 2 a.m. so that General Tso’s chicken and sizzling beef tenderloin will be there to comfort guests after a night out." - Jeffy Mai
"Aside from being a good late-night spot (Chi Cafe is open until 2am), this casual Chinatown restaurant is a perfect place for an affordable meal. Hidden in its overwhelmingly long menu is a section labeled “On Rice.” There you can get a heaping scoop of steamed rice and a side, like chunks of stewed beef with vegetables in a savory sauce, spicy Sichuan shrimp and eggplant, or saucy mapo tofu—all for around $7.95. That way, even if you’ve spent most of your money on drinks and karaoke you can still grab a meal here afterward." - john ringor, veda kilaru, nick allen
