The Least-Awful Clubstaurants In Miami

"Chica is one of the more mature clubstaurant options on this guide. This MiMo spot is on a relatively quiet street far from any loud bars, so it’s a good option for folks who are afraid of South Beach. The restaurant only transforms into a full-fledged clubstaurant on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 9pm. During those times, sparkly dancers weave through the big dining room while a DJ and accompanying live saxophone player ensure it’s loud enough to distract you from the menu's ridiculous prices. But unlike most clubstaurants, the service is good and the restaurant’s design, a sort of mid-century modern Tulum, is actually pretty. The food is just barely above average but we like the cocktails. " - ryan pfeffer

The Top Trends in Miami’s Food Scene - Eater Miami

"Miami has always been a magnet for extravagant nightlife, so it was only a matter of time before partying and dining merged into one. With hospitality gurus like David Grutman leading the way with restaurants featuring over-the-top decor and indulgent dishes. Spots like Sexy Fish, HaSalon, Papi Steak, Backdoor Monkey, Joia Beach, and Chica fit the bill." - Alona Martinez

Chica Review - Upper East Side - Miami - The Infatuation

"Chica is one of the more mature clubstaurant options in town. This MiMo spot is located on a relatively quiet street far from any loud bars, so it’s a good option for folks who are afraid of South Beach. The restaurant only transforms into a full-fledged clubstaurant on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 9pm. During those times, expect sparkly dancers to weave their way through the big dining room while a DJ and accompanying live saxophone player ensure it’s loud enough to distract you from the fact that the chips and guacamole cost $22. But unlike most clubstaurants, the service is good and the restaurant’s design, a sort of Mid-century modern Tulum, is actually quite pretty. The food is way overpriced and just barely above average, which, for a clubstaurant is about as good as it gets. We like the cocktails though, and they have some shareable drinks that can serve up to eight." - Ryan Pfeffer

We came for early dinner at Chica, let me tell you the experience was amazing, food fantastic and the service was outstanding. Our server Luciana was super attentive, cordial and knowledgeable about every dish. We’ve been in many places in Miami but Chica was exceptional.

Great Mexican Restaurant just north of the design district in Miami. Beautiful atmosphere with indoor seating and outdoor patio area. There was also a space in the back available for private events. I was happy to see some plant based options, but disappointed that in a Mexican restaurant no bean dishes were offered and would definitely have liked to see more vegan or vegetarian options. A hummus that came with a large plate of crudites was good, but definitely not Mexican. All dishes we tried were really good, although the prices seemed high for the size. There was a show of flame throwers which probably accounted for some of the price going towards.

My friend and I had brunch on Saturday. Our server Luciana was great! My friend ordered her eggs hard but they came out runny. Luciana immediately replaced the eggs and ensure that all of our food was to our preference. The location is super cute and the vibe very relax. Can’t wait to have brunch again soon.

I would definitely go back!!! An excellent place with a great atmosphere, very well decorated, ideal for photos. The food, especially the tuna tartar and the pastor's ribs, I highly recommend them. My waitress Sabrina was right with the menu suggestions. She was very cordial and kind.

Food - 4 Service - 4.5 Drinks - 5 Ambiance - 5 This is the spot for a chill happy hour which typically runs from 4 to 7 pm. Unbeatable drinks, beautiful setup, great bites. FYI, they form several bites for happy hour over the weekend, only drinks. However you can order from the reg menu if you are down for some food. Their guacamole is really good. Enjoy, cheers!

Last evening, I met up with a good friend who I hadn't seen in a while. The last time that I was here was when it was Soyka, and we went there many times, both lunches and dinners. I was curious to see what Chica was like. I was was not disappointed. The ambiance is classy, trendy and romantic. Beautiful colorful decor with great music. The outdoor seating is,among lush greenery. I really liked it. We ordered the Ceviche Classico, which was very good. I also ordered the Living My Best Life cocktail, which was delicious! My friend ordered the Chica-rita, which was also really good. Our server was friendly and attentive. There is plenty of parking plus valet service. I will be back!

Yelp
This is my first time at this location, we tried the vegas location and loved it We did everything through the coordinator since our party was a bit large There was a bit of miscommunication because the form that was sent didnt match the menu they had day of ( in regards to the drinks) but the owner was there and he made sure we were well taken care of he was professional and very sweet They made customized menus for us which was a nice touch The ambience was beautiful but this is a chill spot so it isnt a party vibe They have beautiful decor great for pics The Caesar salad was the best Ive ever had! The donuts were delicious! The chicken and waffles were a bit spicy After they did make an error with the bill and took out the money without contacting us first- i would go again but not w the coordinator It was also family style serving which we loved

Yelp
Too pricey for the taste and quality. I was very excited to come here but it definitely looks better than it tastes. One of the most interesting themed restaurants, the decoration, the music, i loved the ambiance. We were lucky to try the miami spice menu as well as order our own things but it did not live up to the hype. The only dish we enjoyed were the asado negro arepas. The rest of the food was not good, neither were the drinks. The dessert menu looked good but after trying the food, we decided to not order any dessert. The service was alright, it almost felt like the waiter was rushing us, despite the place being almost empty and the food taking a minute to be served.

Yelp
Lovely low lighting intimate boho chic colorful decor is very beautiful and eye catching. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Now to the main event the food, of wow the food. When I say absolutely delicious, I mean absolutely delicious, everything was perfect, chef kiss, I want more, cant wait to come back kinda energy. I had the Ceviche Classic, perfectly delicious, let me point you in the right direction order the Ribs "Al Pastor" send me thank you later. Big shout out to the Asado Negro Arepas they were part of the perfect start to what was just an amazing dinner experience. Everything was delicious I can't say it enough I had not one complaint.

Yelp
Ambiance in this super hip restaurant is great for a date Dimly lit and cozy with half settee half chair set up! Loved it. The bar is beautiful and the cocktails were excellent! We ordered appetizers the guac and chips and the fried calamari were average but good. The smoke infused ribs were really good and entertaining and the Caesar salad was nice as well The vibe is on point and it makes for an enjoyable dinner. Two Prosecco's and two cocktails along with the above mentioned was about 270 with tip. Valet parking is also an added fee

Yelp
I hadn't been to this location since it was Soyka. I decided to check out CHICA for lunch. The interior is bright and colorful. I sat at the bar, which was a lovely area too. When I went, they were offering their lunch menu and happy hour menu. The bartender was pleasant, taking the time to explain their different cocktails to me. The food and drinks were delicious. I would return again during lunch/happy hour to try other menu pens at the more affordable price.

Yelp
Miami Spice!! One of the best places to try this 'special'! Food was extremely tasty in other words very good. But what made it even better was the service we got from this amazing lovely women named Jen! Thank you & we will definitely be back to see you!

Yelp
I have visit this location 3 times, but last night they surprise me with a $560 bill for 8 shots of Tequila Clase Azul.. that's ridiculous when a bottle cost $165 After question the charge we were approach on the most disrespectful way by the same waitress the serve us.. but I have news for you establishment.. keep the money you lost a costumer. Mas nunca se lo a segura me vol earn a mi or any of my friend the were there last night.. By the way La Parrillada sucks..

Yelp
If you're looking for great food with a fiery show, Chica is the place to go! I've been here a few times, and it never fails to impress. The ambiance is aesthetically pleasing with its dimmed lights and lush greenery that makes you feel like you're dining in a forest. The lively music and fire show add to the electrifying atmosphere. Our waiter, Jesus, was fantastic, and it was his first day! We were so pleased with his service that we mentioned it to the management, and they surprised us with a box of their in-house homemade chocolates. This place is perfect for special occasions, date nights, or just a fun night out with friends. Keep in mind there's already a 20% gratuity added to your bill, but it's definitely worth it. Chica is a must-visit for an unforgettable dining experience!

Yelp
Update from recent Bday dinner: We came for a friends dinner recently. And the vibes were not it. The server Vanessa would explain thing so quick and she barely came in to check on us. It felt rushed. The drinks took forever to come. The fries were never put in. They noticed after we told them and they brought two fries complementary. The prices were too high for what you are getting. . There was a 20 % mandatory gratuity. With the service we received it was not worth it. You would expect more for a bday dinner. The foods taste was average. I was highly disappointed . The brunch when I came before was so good ! Last two pics were from the bday dinner .

Yelp
Super aesthetically beautiful restaurant! The vibes were so good! They have a happy hour menu that great with many options to choose from. The waitress nice but I would like to honestly say we felt rushed.. she was rushing us so much.. she even brought my keys and food to the front hostess while I was in the bathroom, I did not like that too much. However the food, drinks and ambiance were great. Parking is super easy and free to park.

Yelp
The restaurant has a pretty setup inside with a big bar at the entrance. Valet parking is available right there at a decent price. We went for Happy Hour on a Sunday and it was great. They have. A menu of $8 cocktails with base liquors like tequila, mezcal, vodka, gin. As for food we tried the guacamole that was amazing and the birria empanadas, highly recommended!! Delicious

Yelp
CHICA is a sight for sore eyes--going on a third date and hope to impress? Bring them here! A THIRD date? You might be wondering...Yes, allow me to explain. A first date is filled with jitters and depending on how it's going, could be filled with conversation too. CHICA's vibe is much more third date vibes because they play loud play music (loud enough to take away from first date conversation but not so loud that wouldn't be fun on a third date when positive vibes have already been established). Now that we have that out of the way, the service at CHICA was top notch. The words my server used, the way she placed her hands, pardoned her reach, and all that jazz was wonderful. It's what one would come to expect at a fine dining establishment. I could tell she had experience. The cocktails were delicious. I had the double trouble which is a mezcal cocktail and it did not disappoint. Beautifully presented and well balanced, though there were many other options I chose to stick to that one because it was so good. My preference is a smokey-not -too-sweet drink and the double trouble met that criteria. So why four stars and not five? The food. It could have been what I selected...perhaps there were other items on the menu that would have sealed the deal but I really wanted a brunch food and for me, that was the chorizo Benedict. The texture of the hollandaise and the poached egg blended a little too seamlessly together, meaning I couldn't tell the difference between the sauce and the egg. With that being said, the egg needed to be a little more cooked as the white was still a little runny. The hollandaise was more whipped than creamy and lacked the little bit of zing it needed. The side salad, however, was great! Perfectly dressed and fresh. I also really appreciated how they made accommodations for my friend who didn't eat meat or dairy though there weren't many options on the menu for brunch to cater to those with those preferences. All in all, I still wouldn't skip on CHICA! Go on that third date, relish in the yummy cocktails and try other things on the menu!

Yelp
Came here for a birthday brunch and we all got the bottomless mimosas. Now typically I'm used to being left with the bottle of champagne and it's self serve, but here our waitress was constantly keeping our drinks topped off, which we all loved. The omelette was 10/10. It was tasty and light. The guac is also a must try. I liked that it was paired with plantains instead of tortilla chips. The other dishes pictured were also a hit. Hearty and delicious. The paisa bowl portion was insane. Definitely recommend this cute spot for a date night or brunch.

Yelp
I think this was THE BEST dinner I had when I was in Miami. This is a great place to go to before a night out. They play live music & there are dancers that come out, and they dance with you too! The interior is super stylish and the workers are extremely welcoming and kind. I came in on Friday night & the food came out fairly fast too! The food was OUTSTANDING. My friends and I ordered everything family style... which I recommend to those who are foodies and love trying different things. The way the Wagyu churrasco steak melted into my mouth... it was cooked medium rare and Chicas did a great job and actually made it medium rare (unlike a lot of places). The Ceviche Duo really helped get my ceviche fix in.. super authentic and fresh. I loved how it came as a duo so we had a variety to try from. The Birria Empanadas... EXCEPTIONAL! I've never had empanadas before but I was quite impressed. Will definitely look for empanadas back at home now. As for drinks, my friends and I decided to get the Living my best pitcher. There were 5 of us and we each got 2 drinks out of that pitcher... so worth it. The Roasted street corn and the local green salad were also amazing sides to our entire order. I will definitely be stopping by here once I am in Miami again. Keep in mind 20% gratuity is included. Overall I loved this place!

Yelp
This place never disappoints. The food and ambiance make for an amazing experience. The drinks and food were both very good. The drinks, although tasty, were still strong. Their happy hour on drinks is daily which is another plus especially for this area. The happy hour food is just Monday-Friday, but also pretty amazing. The service is always attentive and consistent. I do recommend the lava molten cake as a one time experience, but for the price I probably wouldn't order it again. All in all, I definitely recommend and will be back.

Yelp
Fantastic food and vibe. The music is on very loud in here making it a bit hard to hear but the food is delicious and makes up for it. We got the Picanha for the table and it was *a lot* of food. It's a perfect celebration-type meal and all their other dishes were very shareable. Parking valet in the lot was $8
google avatar

Yelp
CHICA is a restaurant by day and turns into a nightclub late. We enjoyed the arepa appetizer and the tuna tartare. The churrasco was delicious as were the sides. Service was friendly and prompt. My only issue was with the server literally mocks us for not being able to drink alcohol. Saying things like there is no joy without. Maybe he was just trying to be funny but he mentioned it a few times. Anyway, we still enjoyed the meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Chica's interior is beautiful. The menu did not speak to me. There was nothing I really wanted other than the Huancaina Mash. My friend said you can eat some of my food and proceeded to order Wood-Fired Meat Parrillada (Churrasco, Steak Pinchos, Oaxacan Chicken, Chorizo, Chimichurri ). When I tell you it was so good! I did not eat some of the food, I ate a-lot! Then out of nowhere the lights were dimmed and the DJ took front and center, dancers appeared, and some fire eater entertainment took place as well. Great restaurant to celebrate a birthday !

Yelp
If you're craving a taste of Latin American fun and fiesta, then Chica Miami is the place to be! With its captivating jungle-inspired aesthetics and vibrant greenery, the ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable experience. The Latin music sets the tone for a lively atmosphere, accompanied by a DJ and occasional weekend dancers to entertain guests. The service at Chica Miami is exceptional, exemplified by our waiter Jesus, who was attentive and friendly despite it being his first night on the job. He made frequent check-ins to ensure our satisfaction, enhancing our overall dining experience. Their menu boasts a variety of delicious drinks, I opted for spicy margarita. As for the food, the dishes are Al la carte. I started with the truffled mushroom Arepa and indulged in the savory Oaxacan rotisserie chicken for the main course, complemented by a side of perfectly roasted carrots. Each dish was expertly seasoned and left us satisfied. To top off the evening, we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary homemade rum filled chocolates, a delightful addition to our meals. The prices may be on the higher side, particularly considering Miami's reputation. Additionally, please note that a 20% gratuity is already included in the bill. Valet service is available in front of the restaurant for your convenience. For a night filled with fantastic music, entertainment, and delectable cuisine, Chica Miami comes highly recommended.

Yelp
This place has great happy hour times : 3-7 all days except Sunday which is 3-close. We arrived around 4, but did not get seated because they needed to have the entire party there in order to get a table. The place was not busy. There is a variety of drinks on the happy hour menu and we ordered different drinks. They were all good. I had the Chicarita and it was delicious, there is a bit of pineapple juice in it so the tart taste is it down. The bite sizes a rep as and rice crispy ball were very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the braised short rib arepa. I think around 5 the DJ started and later on, they were going to have a lady dancing with . There is a large room on the side for private events. There is plenty of parking, but after 5 pm all spots are valet ($8)

Yelp
You walk in an your eyes are met with a view and design that makes the head turn. They really took the time To make you feel welcomed the top notch service makes sure of it and delivered nicely . Michael was the manager that night. I was invited to to private event the evening . The Dj i wasn't sure was because of the event or a regular thing . A second outing is definitely in the plans. The menu had a lot of choices however I didn't partake in the eating of any edible food that evening hence the second outing . I found myself amused with the decor selection lighting and art.however my nose was working and what it smelled was pure temptation to the tastebuds. Overall the service and decor definitely made me a fan and did I mention im coming back And the location isn't hard to find either Here's review for chica Service 5/5 Decor 10/10 Food (to be continued) Price nicely affordable The foodie ninja will return

Yelp
We visited CHICA for Sunday brunch on a pleasant sunny morning, choosing to sit at the hi-tops along the sidewalk. We had the Bloody Maria (tangy, spicy and cool, but not too much ice) and the non-alcoholic Honey Spice mango drink (which had delicious candied mango). The tacquitos ahogados were very good in little rolled pork-filled tacos over a cheesy, light tomato sauce. In the Mexican Mezze plate, we loved the guacamole, pumpkin seed hummus, the green salsa, and especially the baked goat cheese spread, along with the tostadas big chip pieces and crudités for dipping. For mains, the Chorizo & Arepa Benedict was good with two poached eggs over arepas, a chorizo sauce (I was actually hoping the chorizo would be in sausage form), all covered with a light guacamole sauce. The Paisa breakfast bowl was also good.
google avatar

Renny D.

Yelp
Rather pushy with trying to get you to order the big bucks stuff and disappointed when you go for lower dollar options, but at least it's not 'terrible' food and it's cheap during happy hour. CHICA offers Latin American cuisine that is best purchased during Happy Hour. If you go during any other time, while you will have a more intimate time sitting by the notorious Biscayne and hearing cars whiz past you, you will be hit with prices that might not match what their quality. The thing that irks the most is that when you do try to go for something such as their prix fixe menu, they will try to talk you out of it and boast up things outside of it--I mean, it's 20% automatic-gratuity, so can you blame them? Or even when you're not in the mood for alcohol, the judging of the server can be felt for choosing the cheaper mocktails over the twice as much boozy concoctions. Does this happen often? I mean, 2 for 2 is a pretty bad ratio. Long story short--go here for a better vibe during Happy Hour, save your wallet some cash, and fill up when servers know you're coming just to get the fill-up.

Yelp
Wow so let's start off by saying for a couple years I wanted to go to this place but never needed up going so I made reservations for brunch and ended up going I'll say the place is super nice for pictures but the food here is not good for the amount of money you spend it's just not okay the service was good but I don't like that they charge you the tip as well like I feel like we should be able to make our own decisions...so yes I'm not happy about the food here .

Yelp
I really think that CHICA Miami has 5 star potential; however, I did not have a 5 star experience. Service: From the moment I walked in everyone from the host, the bartender, and my waitress were amazing. They were friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating. The only thing is the restaurant had just opened for the day and it felt like things were moving a bit slow as far as receiving orders placed. Ambiance: This restaurant is GORGEOUS!! The art, decor, table arrangement and layout created a unique vibe. I absolutely loved it! Definitely a very elegant location for a nice lunch meeting, brunch or dinner date. Food: This is where CHICA Miami fell a little short for me. The presentation of the food was fantastic, everything ordered looked delicious and Instagram worthy. However, taste-wise the dishes were underwhelming. Lacking in seasoning, the oxaxcan fried chicken sandwich was extremely bland and dry. The tinga taco salad was good, however flavor wise it's comparable to a salad from Chipotle. The Mexican Mezze was also very good, no complaints there. The drinks were refreshing. I will try CHICA's again in the future to see if there are better menu options because I do believe they have lots of potential.

Yelp
The ambiance is amazing and that's basically what you are paying for in my opinion. I was with a group of 8 and we had a reservation for 9:30p. We arrived at 9:37p and were told our table was not ready. After about 45 minutes, we were finally seated. They don't have any waiting seating so we were just stuck to spread apart and stand outside and stand near the DJ. The DJ and the fire performer were fun for sure! Unfortunately the table we received did not get to see the fire performer up close. Not for sure why, but imagined it was a fire safety possibly due to the columns that line the aisle. I ordered the following with ratings attached: Quesa Birria Empanada: 7/10 (flavorful, very salty though) Caesar Salad: 8/10 (dressing was delicious, but nothing special for price) Seafood Arroz Negro: 8/10 (this was the best dish of the entire table. Rice was cooked well and it was a decent serving size compared to other plates) Crispy Calamari: 7/10 (also a little salty and rubbery in texture) Overall, I believe the experience is better with 2 people in your party max and would stick to it as a pregame spot for a couple drinks or small bites in the future!

Yelp
What a fabulous dining experience ! Our dinner was exceptional. The food , service and ambiance were very pleasing The flavors derived from different countries made the choices varied and interesting We would highly recommend this restaurant as a go to for a special evening !

Yelp
Just WOW ! Everything here was 10/10 from my wonderful waitress to the decor. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious and instagram worthy. This place was upscale but not too pricey for Miami. Anyone traveling to Miami or in the area needs to try this place !

Yelp
This outing was a bit of quick experience. My mom and I had spent the day at the beach, so we just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat. We got their aside negro arepa and taquitos bañados. Mannnnn were they good. I ate them a bit slow to enjoy every bite. We had also ordered the parillada, which is an assortment of different cuts of meat, so you can only imagine how much food we had between two people. Loved the ambiance and happy hour specials. Food was on point, so was their service. I need to come back when I'm not so tired and stay for longer. It really was a cute spot to hangout and enjoy some bites!

Yelp
Came here with my aunt for brunch. The ambiance and service were amazing. The food looked beautiful but the flavor was just okay. Definitely a good spot to go to for pictures with friends. Will try their happy hour in the future.

Yelp
Came here for date night. Around 5pm to get there for happy hour. Great deals on drinks and small bites. The place is super cute but with the sliding glass doors open we were fending off mosquitos and flies. It was still a nice time. Our server was Edwin M. Hewas awesome, friendly, and gave us great recommendations. I had the spicy mango 0 proof drink which was more sweet juicy than spicy but it is sans alcohol. My bf had the double trouble which he enjoyed as he had 3. I took a micro sip and I'm not a fan of mezcal but it was good. We started with Asado Negro Arepa and the braised short rib was delish. We also ordered Crispy Yucca "Rice" but they ran out of tuna, which I really wanted but we got another arepa (complimentary) and it was way better than the first one. We also got Chicharrón and they were basic Chicharróns. The hot Valentina dipping sauce made it way better. For dinner I had Pan-Roasted Atlantic Salmon and let me tell you. It was the BEST salmon I have eaten. And I always order salmon. Cooked perfectly and a nice delicious crispy skin. OMG the ginger chili sauce was damn near amazing. Highly recommend!!!! My bf had Churrasco Steak. Unfortunately it was overcooked, but still tasted great. The waiter offered to have a new one made but we're not about to let a perfectly good slightly overcooked steak go to waste. I had a bit and it was good. For dessert we had a coffee, a cappuccino, and Churros con Cafe. The tiramisu was phenomenal. A little heavy on the chocolate dusted topping but so so good. The nutella filled churros were crispy deliciousness on the outside and soft on the inside filled with yummy Nutella. All in all it was a great experience and I definitely recommend CHICA Miami.

Yelp
He estado muchas veces en estos restaurantes, cada experiencia es única. Los platos son muy buenos, aunque realmente pequeños. La decoración del lugar es extremadamente hermosa, y los tragos variados y bien preparados.

Yelp
Came just for drinks and to see the show. Great cocktail menu - would love if they had a bit more beyond tequila but overall you can tell it was put together with a specific theme in mind. The bartenders are fun and create a great ambiance with pretty good service. Though the bar wasn't super packed it did take some time to get the bartenders attention to get a drink. The shows are really amazing on Fridays and Saturdays they have a salsa couple and fire dancer - both very impressive and interactive!

Yelp
It's a great happy hour with delicious small bites. The venue is beautifully decorated with a more casual hangout kind of vibe. A lot of people were dressed pretty nicely though so maybe put on a cute outfit for a date night as well. Tostones: Get! These were amazingly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Pairs very well with the sauce. Tostada: Maybe... It's a very small portion that is almost 1 bite sized. For $4 dollars its a bit steep but it's got a deliciously bright and fresh flavor to it. Drinks: Get Most of the drinks did taste a bit more elevated and I appreciated the negroni a lot. It didn't have an imbalance of campari which is usually the most common thing that I taste. Food: 8/10 Service: 7/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Value: 6/10

Yelp
I'm a born and bred Miamian so I've always been to the other restaurants around Chica but never got the chance to actually go and decided to go for lunch today and it did not disappoint! First, I must say the ambience is so cute and the aesthetics in that in this restaurant is top notch. We tried the Miami Spice menu and it was absolutely amazing. There was a couple dishes that were actually not on the regular menu so that was a Unique twist to it. Apps: we had the taquitos bañados and asado negro arepas. Omg the sauce on the taquitos and the sweet and savory taste on the arepas, to die for! I even mixed some of the taquitos sauce and used it on my arepas for some extra flavors. Entrees: we had the Oaxacan fried chicken sandwich and lamb árabes tacos. The sandwich was delish and spicy, the bun had jalapeños made into it which was super unique. The lamb tacos, juicy and flavorful. Dessert: we had tres leches and sorbet (horchata, raspberry, and pasión fruit) both great to finish off the meals Drinks: cucumber summer and espresso martini Presentation 10/10, aesthetics 10/10. Want to come back for Happy Hour and try some other things on the menu! Can't believe I haven't been all these years

Yelp
We tried out CHICA for our cousin's birthday brunch. The decor is really nice, it's a beautiful restaurant! The service was OK. We had a coffee spilled on us which is fine it happens, but everything also took a lot longer than I would have expected to come out. The food was pretty good, but I wasn't blown away. My boyfriend asked for his steak to be cooked medium rare and it came out well done, so that's why I dropped the review from 4 to 3 stars. I'd like to try CHICA again and I will update my review!

Yelp
10/10 all around experience! Great birthday dinner location. A delicious, fresh dinner with lively ambiance! When I went, there was a DJ, that played wild selection of music and it made for fun dining experience. The food is deliciousssss! The Braised Short ribs were my absolute favorite and the corn side dish is a must! The flavor, the food presentation, the service, is a 10/10! I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
The variety on the menu was impressive, and the atmosphere made our meal really enjoyable. Service was generally good, though there were a few moments when it felt slow. Overall, a solid choice that's worth checking out.

Yelp
CHICA is a beautiful restaurant, great for night out, getting drinks, or brunch like I had. The pan de Bono waffle is a delicious and wonderful take on a waffle. The waffle had great flavor and texture. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy. I was not a fan of the aji dulce hot honey, because it was too spicy for my taste. I tried the ahi dulce hot honey with the chicken and it was spicier than I had anticipated. Overall the dish was delicious. I had their Midnight in PR and it was being on a beach in PR with a mojito. Their guacamole was really good. The pairing of arepas with guacamole is great, each of the arepas has a different flavor profile. The guac is fresh and the perfect combo between chunky and smooth. The Rum Caramel Sticky Bun is sooo good words can't describe it. The rum flavor in the sticky buns is present, but not overpowering. The pistachio cream cheese is not overpowering and compliments the sticky buns perfectly. This is a MUST have when visiting Chica.

Yelp
All In all the service was amazing. The drinks were great the performance was amazing. The rib appetizer was amazing especially with the sauce under it. The steak and mac and cheese was really really good. But I do recommend less breading on the mac and cheese. The ambiance was great with great music performance and environment. I loved it.

Yelp
First night in Miami from NYC and Laura made sure our trip started off on a fantastic bang. So attentive, amazing recommendations from the menu, and checked in often to make sure we were all set. Food and drinks were amazing, but Laura's service really made the difference. Cant wait to come back next time I'm in Miami!

Yelp
Two couples came to dinner for the first time. It will be first and last. Service way less than mediocre, took way to long to come for our order after we received menus, had to get up and find someone to clean the table after we finished. No one came by during the dinner. Completely indifferent service. Well overpriced for the size of the portions and the quality being at best average. Least expensive red wine was $90 for a bottle and it was at best 2nd rate. A 20% mandatory tip was totally insulting. A highly disappointing experience.

Yelp
This is my second time going to Chica Miami and the food was fire. I went with a group of ladies for a bachelorette party and of course the restaurant was full with music playing in the background under dimmed lights. Our servers were very good and made sure to check up on us, recommend certain dishes, and asked if anyone had allergies so there would be no issues when suggesting food choices. There are a couple of things that I did NOT like and they have to do better: Update your website to mirror what is on your menu and state what is allowed and how it works. They have a pre fixed menu that you can have an appetizer, main entree, and dessert for $60 per person. It was brought up to the server and we were told that the whole table has to do it or we will have to choose individual things. I don't find this to be right because maybe there are some people that do not want three courses while others may. To have a consensus amongst the group, it's highly ridiculous. Secondly, the website had the pre-menu for the $60 selection, and the menu that we received at the restaurant did not match what was on the website and the choices were so limiting that we were turned off by that $60 selection as it really wasn't a selection. The last complaint, I'm going to make the appetizers where you have to get two pieces minimum. my wife and I got seafood tostadas that were so many and were six dollars apiece and I did not find that worth the price. We had to pay $12 dollars for two pieces. And there were several appetizers on that menu where you had to get two pieces and I also found that Ludacris because if you're serving an appetizer to a person, the minimum should already have two pieces and you're not getting charged for each individual piece. if I just want one then give me one. Overall, I have been here for brunch, and I have found that I liked it way much better than their dinner as far as menu and what they were bringing. I did not enjoy myself as much due to all the restrictions that were given that is why I rated this so low.
