First off, the delivery came fast! I literally ordered the night before and received the box the following morning. As for the food, I have had the bison steaks yet but the bison patties are very good and thick! This definitely won't be the last time I order from them. 5 stars

Stopped by here for the 1st time, got the duck sausage with foie gras. Everyone was super helpful and welcoming, they were out of some things that looked good. Can't wait to try these and come back soon.

Called yesterday looking for venison. Happily they have it and allow the public to come in and purchase even by the pound! Called at least five or six other places that were much further away and most didn't have it. Also had a great brief conversation with the CEO, Jimmy, a wonderfully welcoming man. They also have a beautiful office!

Stellar experience! Needed Muscovy duck legs for Christmas dish.... website detailed, staff friendly and clear on the phone. Got a little lost - thought Root St would cross Halsted but it doesn"t, so went too far South. Root comes out of Exchange at 39th. Go East on Exchange ( which is 39th) and the road becomes "Root". West on 39th is the site of the famous Chicago Stockyards. I had been searching online quite a bit for duck legs Learned about various duck options, wanted something meatier than Peking duck...Moulard duck was the answer!! They carry it and SO much more. Impressive little office, retail space...heads on the walls. Owner very knowledgeable and friendly. In the business since '96. Mostly wholesale but glad to have access to retail. Duck Legs look good, too.

All I can say is WOW! I had a business associate send me a gift box from Chicago Game and Gourmet. It was packed with all kinds of really cool and exotic meats. We made Bison and Elk steaks last night that were out of this world. This is the most fun and interesting business gift I've ever received. I'm pretty sure that this will become my new choice for sending out "Thank Yous". Not to mention treating myself, as well. Thanks guys!
