Chicago Pizza & Sports Grille

This is probably one of the most slept on restaurants and I can't believe it's so close to me! Definitely don't let the name fool you it is not just a PIZZA restaurant. This is a CHICAGO restaurant! Some of the best Italian Beef sandwiches I've ever had. I recommend them with hot peppers, mozzarella, and dunked! The classic Chicago dogs were great and the pizza was soooo good. We have been twice in two weeks and will definitely be back for more. Thank you!

Came for the first time with family and it was fantastic. It wasn’t crowded and our food came out in a decent amount of time. The deep dish was seriously better than the deep dish in Chicago. It was so balanced and the punch of the garlic really rounded it out. Our pizza had white sauce, chicken, spinach, bacon, and fresh garlic. The crust was perfectly charred and crispy. It is the best deep dish I’ve had. I can’t say anything wrong about it, the medium was a nice size and reasonably priced. The wings were good and were served with blue cheese and sweet potato fries. Thee wings were crispy juicy and saucy just like we like them. It was great but for us the star this visit was the pizza.

TVs. so much TVs. Love the atmosphere here, one of the most fun sports bars I've been too. music is great, sports watching is great. Obviously wings are top notch and well worth the more premium pricing. Hot is not super spicy but absolute killer flavor. Deep dish pizza has such a great sauce on it with well baked crust. a Medium should be split between 2 or 3 folks. However everyone watch out for parking at this mega popular location ! Highly suggest ride share or valet. It's clear that this shopping center isn't too happy with this very successful restaurant. Even spots without a boot/tow sign could still result in a $50 boot. Hope the parking lot puts up some clearer signage in some parts or maybe the other tenants loosen up a bit. If you there after 9p, there are quite a few more spots.

I went to Chicago Pizza for the first time last night with a friend. I ordered a spinach and mushroom pizza and I must say this is the best pizza I've had in Atlanta in a very long time. The dough is just delicious. I mean it has the right crunch. I mean everything about this is amazing! Thank you so much to the chef that made my pizza last night. As you can see, I am slowly enjoying the last bit of it after reheating in my air fryer lol

Before you order please read the fine print. If you order over $50, they charge you 20%. If you have a party of five or more they charge you 20%. If you add on something as a to go, they'll charge you 20%. Now that we've gotten all of the extra money out of the way before we even ordered, the server is not very friendly. There was a lady walking around in business attire but never once stopped at our table to ask any questions or exchange pleasantries as she had for all the other tables in our section. I will definitely be getting my food to go from here on out This was my first time ever eating inside the establishment I've always had my food to go because they've always been super incredibly busy. Which I assumed was a testament to their great service and food.

Amazing spot to watch Football! So many TV'S, the Manager(s) are very attentive and make sure all customers are happy multiple times throughout my time there. The pizza is excellent (pizza snob here :) The only reason for 4 stars on service is I was directed to a table for service as all bar spots were "reserved" Odd, maybe a local thing? And I waited almost 10 minutes for one of the 10 or so servers to come over. After I was greeted, excellent service. Recommend and will return when I'm back in town 👍👍

⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Great Pizza, But Patio Experience Felt Like Takeout My partner and I visited Chicago Pizza and chose to sit on the patio. A server did come out to take our order, which we appreciated. However, once everything was brought to us, the experience felt more like takeout than dine-in. The pizza arrived in a box, soft drinks were served in small 6 oz plastic cups (limited to one refill), and we were given plastic utensils and paper plates. We even had to use an adjacent table just to have enough space for the pizza box. The pizza itself was excellent—fresh and full of flavor. No complaints about the food. What stood out, though, was the automatic gratuity added to our bill for a party of two. For reference, gratuity is defined as a tip or sum of money given to service staff in recognition of good service. While a server did take our order, there was very little follow-up or interaction after everything was served—especially once our one refill was used. It seems like the presence of hookah might be meant to give the bar a more upscale vibe, but if that’s the case, proper tableware, silverware, and consistent service would go a long way. We enjoyed the food, but the overall experience and automatic tip didn’t quite match the level of service provided.

Was in the area with my son and decided to try this place for the first time, we had heard from a couple of people that said the food was pretty decent. Now, let me preface this by saying I was raised in Chicago and worked at several places there (and two here) that served Chicago style food (including pizza). The atmosphere definitely has a Chicago vibe, it smells like a typical sports bar, has a bunch of TVs with various sports. I imagine this place would be packed during a Bears or Cubs/White Sox game! The menu has a lot of options, including several Chicago staples such as pizza (both thin and deep dish), Vienna beef hot dogs, and Italian beef sandwiches. When I saw the pictures of the hotdog on the menu and on the website I have to admit I was excited and looking forward to trying them. To give an honest review, My son and I decided to get two Chicago hot dogs as an appetizer and an “authentic“ thin crust pizza with Italian sausage. First the hot dogs, while they did come on the prerequisite poppyseed bun with a Vienna beef sausage, the overall preparation and taste earned it 2 out of 5 stars for us. The poppyseed buns were hard as though they had been toasted, but the temperature was lukewarm at best. Everybody knows if you want an authentic Chicago hot dog, the poppyseed buns should be steamed and soft. As a result of the hard buns, it split at the bottom after taking the first bite causing all the toppings to fall through onto the plate. Yes they did have the bright green relish, diced onions and tomatoes. We opted for no sport pepper, and there was a smattering of celery salt on the dogs. There was no pickle spear or yellow mustard on the dogs! Although there was a bottle of yellow mustard hiding behind the large ketchup bottle on the table, who serves an authentic Chicago hot dog with no mustard or pickle spears? I’m not sure why, but they also put two packets of mayonnaise on the plate? My honest opinion of the hot dogs? If you want truly authentic good tasting hot dogs, make them at home yourself or wait for the Portillo’s to open in Kennesaw sometime in November. All too often I have learned if you can’t do a Chicago hot dog right, your Italian beef is likely going to miss the mark as well. Now for the “authentic” thin crust pizza. First let me say, I really wanted to like it, but the honest truth is I would never order it again. I asked for the pizza to be slightly well done so that the cheese was golden brown and the crust crispy without being burnt. While they did cook it properly so the cheese was browned, the crust was soft/floppy and far from crispy. Honestly, the crust tasted like it was premade/frozen. My biggest disappointment was the Italian sausage topping. If you’re looking for authentic Chicago Italian sausage, this is not the place unless you like frozen Italian sausage chunks that tastes like they came straight out of a Pizza Hut restaurant. If you know your Chicago pizza, then you know that Italian sausage should be chunked, fresh if possible, and have a distinct hint of fennel as though you emptied the casing of an Italian sausage link from the store or bought it in bulk and parsed it out evenly on the pizza. This sausage honestly tasted like frozen breakfast sausage. I give it one out of five stars only because they cut it in squares. Although they offer deep dish pizza, if they can’t do thin crust properly, I’m hesitant to try the deep dish. If you want an authentic Chicago thin crust or deep dish/stuffed pizza experience, you have several much better options around the metro area such as Nancy’s and even Rosati’s. To be fair, the service was good, the waitress was attentive and checked on us regularly. It’s not her fault if the meal didn’t turn out as expected. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to hang out with friends and watch a game and have some respectable bar food, this place is great, but if you’re looking for a truly authentic “Chicago food” experience, I’m sorry to say this place did not quite live up to its name for us on two of the most iconic Chicago items.

We had an awesome time at Chicago Pizza! The perfect spot to watch the games while enjoying some seriously delicious pizza . The drinks were strong, the music was bumping, and the whole atmosphere was a total vibe. Our server was super friendly and attentive, which really made the experience even better. Big plus for on-site parking and valet, because that's always a win. I did take one star off because it's a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, the energy and experience still made it worth it. Get there early -- this place fills up fast for a reason! I'll definitely be back.

I came here to watch a game. They have valet parking - not sure of the cost. Wings were greasy. Service was horrible and they add a 20% gratuity with 1% of service provided.

I recently stopped by Chicago Pizza in Smyrna, GA. The kitchen being open late is definitely a plus--perfect for those post-event or late-night pizza cravings. The deep-dish pizza and the wings are decent: the crust of the deep dish holds up, and the wings have flavor and are crispy enough. Service was smooth and the staff friendly. That said, I couldn't ignore one big downside: the pricing. Frankly, it feels outrageous. For what you're getting--good, but not exceptional--the cost is significantly higher than other options around the Atlanta metro area. It's one of the most expensive pizza joints in town, and the value simply doesn't match the price tag. If you're willing to splurge, okay. But if you're looking for strong value, you might want to look elsewhere.

The service was very good and the server was knowledgeable. We got a deep dish and a thin crust... They were Chicago "style" maybe "influenced" or "inspired" but not Chicago Pizza. It was good and maybe better than a average pizza but not Chicago Pizza. Order a deep dish and you should expect a 45 minute wait, this was 15 or 20 minutes wait. Instead of a buttery flaky crust like a pie, this had fried crust like a air fryer was used - maybe they use Pam cooking spray? The place was clean and quiet, not many people there on a Saturday afternoon for lunch while college football was going on.

Game day action with plenty of TV's. Music in between commercials. Offers a section for larger groups which worked well for our group with plenty of space. Valet parking along with plenty of self parking. Cigar bar attached. All food comes in to go boxes which I assume is to help the staff, especially on busy game days.

Came here randomly one weekend. Great vibes. Hookah is a reasonable price and the drinks are good. Staff is very attentive and the DJ kept the good energy going throughout the night. Finding a park can be a bit hectic on the weekend but I believe they offer valet. I would definitely visit this establishment again, I would like to try the food.

The service is horrible! I came and ordered a deep dish pizza! And they didn't put any sauce on my pizza! HOW DO YOU FORGET SAUCE ON A PIZZA???! I call to tell them and they acting like I did something wrong! The manager says I have to Come back for them to make another pizza! I come back he's now busy for 15 mins and can't come handle the situation! I can't with the poor customer service. Telling my clients to never go back. Terrible place and vibe

In my ordering for work quest of keeping things fresh with a range of dietary restrictions and picky eaters, my Chicago-born self was thrilled to find this place! Only 1 person on the team had heard of this style of pizza and I had a plethora of topping options to toss around. Big hit. My gluten free self enjoyed the cobb salad, which doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's amazing how some places skimp on salad toppings - when it's your meal, it's important. I can't speak to the ambience since it was delivery, but the I'll definitely be ordering again given the quality (and trip down memory lane as there is something ingrained about square cut pizza with a thinner crust). Wings are next on the list. :)

I will say from standing outside this place didn't seem any different than the ordinary place, but once inside there was so much going on. First thing we were greeted at the door, and offered the chance to walk around to check out the place. Cigars for purchase if you like and the cigar room was very nice, but too smoky for my liking but hey it was nice in there. The restaurant has so many options for seating indoors with flat screen TVs in every room! Great Hookah lounge with good food. We ordered Bbq chicken pizza,Bbq chicken wings & the cheese fries and it was all good. Ordered whiskey & tonic & vodka drinks. Everything was to our liking and the price was decent also, I recommend making a reservation. Sorry no pics of the food, we dug in! Ps the Hookah is available in the cigar section on Wednesdays.

They have an atmosphere for every taste from hookah lounge to full bar to regular restaurant and the pizza is fantastic

4 drinks- nothing special $106..... so disappointed.... And Gospel Hour at a bar??? The south is way different. It's been years since I visited this spot, I love the aesthetic upgrades except shooting pool would have been better tonight. I won't be back soon- disgusted with over pricing and underserving.... and on Christmas Eve? First time out in awhile- imma stay at home if this is the social world.

I love the salmon Cobb salad and karaoke night. They have a lot of hookah flavors to choose from.

Really enjoy this place. It's a taste of Chicago in Atlanta. I was able to order an Italian beef via uber eats which was delicious. The vibe in person is nice as well. They have a neighboring cigar lounge which has live music many nights.

I've visited Chicago Pizza several times because it's close to my home, parking is easy, and the lounge area can be a nice vibe with good music and decent cocktails. Unfortunately, the food and customer service continue to decline with every visit. The pizza is about a 6/10 at best, and the last salad I ordered was completely wilted with cheese that tasted old. I tried to overlook this since my cocktail experiences have usually been okay, but today's visit was the final straw. Our server, Jazz, started off friendly but became rude and condescending after a misunderstanding with our drink order. I ordered a second drink for myself -- my partner did not. She mistakenly brought two drinks and insisted that my partner had ordered one. When we clarified, she told us she "couldn't take it off the bill" because she had already walked away for "a second." My partner never touched the drink, and it was never ordered in the first place. Jazz later returned and told us she paid for the drink out of her own pocket, as if she was doing us a favor -- even though we never requested that and the mistake was not ours. To make matters worse, when we accidentally spilled a small container of garlic butter, she told us it would be an extra charge for another one. We had already been charged $1.59 for the first one, even though that wasn't disclosed upfront. Between the declining food quality, the lack of transparency, and the consistently poor customer service, I don't see myself returning. It's disappointing because the location has so much potential, but the experience gets worse each time.

I went here to pick up a pizza for a weekend inside and they didn't fail! The pizza was delicious, BBQ Chicken deep dish. And it was nice and hot and ready for me when I arrived. When I walked in to pick up my pizza, I was welcomed and assisted quickly. Plus, I didn't have to search for a place to park as I could pull over at the front for pickup.

I've ordered a lot from here. The pizza is always sold if you like deep dish. I went in an ordered from the bar area. The pizza actually tasted even better and my waitress was on point. The music inside was pound as heck though. They could turn it down 20% so people could talk to each other

Ordered Boneless wings twice via uber eats. One time it came with fries, second time it did not. The second time the chicken was also burnt. The chicken tacos were good.

I was in the bar this evening and ordered a few beers while I was waiting for my chicken wings to be cooked. In the meantime, I was getting along with some people around me and bought a few drinks for several of them. When one of my friends left next to me, I started talking to the gentleman next to her. We had a good conversation he accepted a drink that I bought for him and then after a while, he decided to call me a racist when I went to defend myself I was kicked out of the bar immediately. Four managers gathering around me and made me leave because I was trying to tell this man that I was not a racist. I don't know what's going on here, but it seems to me like there's just no understanding in this establishment.

SERIOUSLY!!!!!!! We had to wait over an hour and a half before a manager came to speak with us AFTER refusing. Multiple people around us came in after us and received their orders to include whole pizzas! We didn't even get our onion rings. The manager was less than unprofessional and aggressive!!!!!! No apology or anything! Then we were told the food was ready and the server was told to make sure we still want it. We said yes.... She came back AGAIN and told us she was told to make sure we wanted the food that was ready...... so we already said yes and you are holding our food hostage..... We said forget it! This was a hostile and horrible experience! We will NOT be back!!!!!!

This is more of a club that happens to have food. We got the thick Chicago crust. My daughter who went with me liked it much better than me. The crust was buttery. The ingredients and cheese went on then the just dumped sauce on. Didn't all mix together. Not for me. She liked it. We ate out of the patio. It was nice being outside. Beware, even for a party of two since it was football day they already added a 20 percent tip.

Love the atmosphere fabulous! The service was great! The drinks were well made and delicious. The food was enjoyable and the icing on the cake was the MUSIC!!

Came here for a birthday lunch with friends. Overall a good experience and the food was really good. Only con is if you choose to sit upstairs with the hookah you can only get your food to go and you have to sit there and eat out the box but other than that they were pretty on point with quality of food, price and drinks.

I had no idea what I was walking into because I was referred to this place when I mentioned I needed some pizza that tasted like home. Let's be honest I thought I was going to a place where I could just grab a slice really quickly as I always use to do in Chicago. I walked in and realized this place is huge, and it was a Friday evening so there was a crowd. I really didn't want to be seen, I wanted food quick and I wanted to go home, due to my rough day however, I had no idea what awaited me... complete smiles and hospitality from the women at the bar and a pizza that I cannot forget! Better than Giordanos ok! Filled my soul! Personal veggie yes! won't he do it! They even charged my phone so it wouldn't die because I needed to pay by tap! I was having a rough day yesterday and this gave me comfort! Thank y'all! I'll be back. Definitely a new digg for me. Good music, great pizza.

I don't know if it was a fluke or not but the meat lovers pizza I got was the worse pizza I ever ordered from there. It was only half done. I ate one piece and threw it away. They could have just missed one. I give them another chance.

I am not a fan of deep dish pizza so I always ignored this spot until I was forced to go and found out they have other pizza options and man I have regretted not coming sooner because the pizza is actually delicious! I got the meat lovers & cannot wait to go back for more. I got a peach margarita to drink & didn't like it at all, it tasted like medicine so pass on that & try something else to drink. They have TVs at every booth, which is different but you get a great view of whatever game you want to watch. The service was great, afterwards I did learn they have an area with hookah.

We were immediately greeted upon arrival. Absolutely love how each booth has their own large flat screen tv. It was perfect! We had fries to start, they were fresh & crispy! We shared 2 pizzas. They were delish! Btw, bathrooms were clean and didn't carry a stench!!

Service from Tierra was great. My husband and I ordered a blackened fish plate and I ordered blackened shrimp. My dinner was great but hubby complained that his fish was definitely not blackened. We ordered margaritas w/Teramana Tequila...they charged us $16 for each margarita and $15 a piece for the shot we took to celebrate hubby's bday. I'm assuming you're charged a fee for not paying cash (COG/L Fee), tax w/no % listed and then....20% gratuity for the 2 of us. I suggested we go here but after reviewing this bill....$16 per shot for a $30 bottle is ridiculous! Be sure to ask how much your drink will be when ordering....ijs

The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the vibes were on point. The service was great! There was spacious seating and plenty of parking available. I had a great time and recommend going if you're looking for a nice chill spot!

Chicago pizza is the spot for happy hour. It seems to be very popular and if you're looking to mingle this is just the place. The pizza was delicious with the right amount of sauce. The cheese pizza could have had more cheese but the meat lover was perfect. The wings were extra crispy like I asked and even the fountain. Drinks weren't flat. My favorite part is they have Pepsi products and I'm a Pepsi girl. The staff were very attentive and the menu was pretty extensive. There was a cigar bar next to it and a pool table in the back. Definitely enjoyed this spot. The patio will be packed now that it's hot. You can tell they get a lot of business as some parking spots say not for Chicago pizza customers lol.

Service was great! Bartender Tracy was awesome! I enjoyed the atmosphere! I dislike how all black establishments add a 20% gratuity and never inform you beforehand. Side note you have the option to remove the gratuity when you ask it's your right! Besides that I won't speak on my food malfunction but I had a great time! Future reference I would go for the vibe and drinks! It's a place you could call home away from home!

This place has been around for years and we tried it when it first opened and I wasn't impressed but it has really become the go to spot for sports fans to watch the games. I decided to go back and try an Italian beef sandwich last weekend and it was so good! Got my mom one and she loved how filling it was. Will stop by there again soon!

Good pizza horrible service!!! Do not go here. They charge you 20% automatic gratuity for sitting outside . They charge you 3% on cost of goods, everything is served in carry out packages, plastic forks, nothing to put food on ... I've never seen or heard of something like this in my life. They purposely took the gratuity signs down to trick ppl. The service isn't good because the waiters know that they'll get over because they automatically get a tip and have to do little work. The waitress knew nothing about the food or menu. Just terrible!!! Also, Im from the Midwest and it's not real Chicago style. Our bill came to $61 for water, medium pizza and spinach dip and it was only two of us. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! Oh also, if you order carry out on the balcony, you still get all of the service charges.

I had never been to this restaurant before but have heard great reviews from multiple people and decided to try it one night. The food was amazing. The service to pick up my order was nice. I'll definitely be back.

So glad we found this place. Nice little lunch spot. I love that the spaces are separate so we could enjoy lunch without the smoke of cigar bar or hookah lounge. The food was A+++ and service was really good. I loved the televisions all over showing multiple games and sports.

Had high hopes for this place. Service started out great and went downhill expeditiously. What should have been a two hour visit turned into four. Our waitress was forgetting things. I got a jack and coke with no ice(i did not order it with no ice)..... waited 30 mins for said ice just to see it sitting at the service bar. By the time the checks came out that was a mess. One of the first questions i asked when we sat down was "Can you separate checks?" Our server Ambriel said yes. The checks come out in disarray with what appeared to be extra stuff. We attempt to make sense and WRITE DOWN WHO HAD WHAT and she still couldn't get it together. A manager never showed when asked for one to put the entire check together to see all the charges. At this point, we are going back and forth over the check for an hour. I've never felt the urge to walk out on a tab before and tonight was a night where i absolutely would have. And of course gratuity is already included.

First time actually having food at this place, my husband an I usually just go to the cigar side. Tonight I wanted wings and to have drinks, umm hmm... "clears throat" before i begin , wasn't greeted with a pleasant surprise from our waitress, Ashley. I asked normal questions just to break the ice,they were answered sharply with "as if I should know " type attitude. Gratuity included, though I continue trying to make lite convo, she wasn't making it much more lighter It wasnt easy fun, what shoulda been.. ‍ don't get it It's Sunday whatever the wings were extremely big for me but they were good. The salmon is pretty cheap and dry. I kept ordering drinks,I just wish my waitress Ashely would've been more inviting.. Food a good 5, service 4, atmosphere 8,

Food is absolutely amazing and the service was top tier for the busy after work hours. Great music and Ish or Shannon will advise you on the best cigar for your taste. Now I would reserve my seating because it does get crowded after 7pm but heck I will stand to have a good time. Mae is a great manager and up sold me to a whole experience.

This is crazy... check the fine print... the waitress say one thing and the menu say another.... $2 to refill a coal... 1 refill on soda.... it was 5 of us, and we still got charged the 20% gratitude if you sit over at the hookah side.... it's in Togo containers....

I came here when I visited Georgia a while back. The environment is really nice. They have one side for family dining and another side for thee grown folks lol which is the sports bar. I love that. They also have an outdoor dining area. I had the BBQ chicken deep pizza and sadly I didn't care for it at all. My cousin has the pepperoni deep pizza and she enjoyed hers so I suggest going with a classic choice. I also had a side salad Cesar salad and they over loaded it with salad dressing which was nasty. I didn't enjoy it at all. I ordered a jack and coke to drink and it was delicious! The best! We ended up outside on the patio and continued with the drinks and this is when the party started. I ordered hookah and I believe it was an outside company but it was really nice and the flavor was good! I enjoyed it. I continued ordering drinks and drinks and whew I had fun. I would come back even though I didn't enjoy my meal. I will try another type of pizza.

I came on a Saturday afternoon and sat at the bar. Each bartender was attentive and very helpful. Management also circles the place inquiring about your experience which is a nice touch. There are lots of tvs on the bar area alone with music. They have a cool patio section that looked like it had heaters for cool days. I ordered a drink which was strong and a very reasonable price. I ordered a two topping pizza with sausage and pepperoni to go however they gave me sausage and beef - I just let it go because I didn't want to wait. The pizza was very tasty though and I'd definitely try it again. I didn't view the whole place but it looks pretty large. Try them out!

I go to Chicago Pizza a couple of times a week and usually have great service. Tonight I went in and sat at the bar after 20 minutes and waiting for the server to ask me what I would like to drink and offer a menu it didn't happen. He looked at me several times and ignored that i was sitting at his bar. I understand when things are busy but the restaurant wasn't as busy as usual, normally a server would let me know that they will take my order when they have a minute. After waiting 20 minutes I left and he watched me leave. Needless to say I won't be returning anytime soon. I don't leave many reviews unless they are positive but if I owned that restaurant I would want to know that my customers aren't getting the service or attention that I would want them to. The food and service has always been great until today's experience.

Asked for coke with NO ICE. They only gave me ice in a cup, and I am pretty sure the serve was underage to be working in Georgia.

If I could present a 0 rating for this I would. Say no to ATLANTA COP CITY. It is up to the people now to enforce respect to the customers who pay to keep the door open in our community. Despicable food, service, and environment/location. Trust me go elsewhere, your dollars will be much more valued.
