This place was really great. Nice young man named Caleb took my order. Atmosphere was great loved the place. Only complaint is my nuggies were overcooked. When I go back and theyre cooked fine I'll change to 5 stars

Atmosphere was fine here with lots of foot traffic and energy having a mall walking distance across the parking lot. That said the tables weren’t clean even though there were plenty of workers standing around doing very little who could have picked them up and wiped them down. It felt more like a teenage hangout with lots of kids working who really could care less about doing what needed to be done. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day - but the place really was kind of a mess. The person who took my order and brought me my food were both very nice so I have to compliment them on that. Main reason for my negative review is the new maple bacon limited sandwich. I love maple more than anyone - but I have to be honest…that sandwich was terrible in my opinion. It smelt weird, and I thought tasted weird. Maple and pickles don’t mix in my opinion. I was excited about it when I heard about it but now that I have had one….never again! That sandwich was a big mistake creation in my book.

I hate supporting this establishment but I was craving a late night sweet treat. Shake was fine.

While picking up my order this morning, I was helped by a manager when other team members were busy with other tasks. He was obviously working on administrative tasks on a laptop, but immediately stopped whatever what he was working on to be there for me when I needed help. Very impressed with that level of teamwork, customer service, and attention to detail. 11/10

I got chicken nuggets and fries from here today and there was a small yellowish hair on the fries and I couldn't eat it. It was disgusting. It’s hard to see it in the photo because of my camera and it was kind of same color with fries.

Absolutely the worst service of any Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. They have two lines, that go into one line, plus an on-line order line, that also merged into the same one line. I sat there and watched as workers brought out orders to some cars in line and some cars were able to get out of the line and drive away. My very small and simple order wasn't given to me until I got to the window. I'll never go there again

Go to the Walnut Creek/Oakland restaurant! As a former employee of a chick fil a, the food is subpar, the system is subpar, and the customer service is subpar. The only reason why we visit this place is because of proximity, and nothing more. They don’t even fill the fry box all the way. Every time we visit, our actual food is wrong even though the ticket says the correct order. (pictures below. one of many times) Their system is extremely disorganized. Half of the time they’re giving out orders to cars that can’t even get out of the line. Inside they barely will say your name in the loud dining room, then get frustrated and stow the food away. There are no standards at this store. If you have patience to be inconvenienced then definitely check this place out.

Greetings to all, this is my first time coming to this location of Chick-fil-A: As l have to few of them across the country, in which the Food portions didn't seem like same. The parking is shared with its other businesses neighbors in the area: An ( B) for me Inside the the restaurant itself was very clean and well lit. An (A) for me The service was very kind and friendly. An (A) for me The food was just ok, . An ( C+) for me Overall this location gets a (B-) for me or 3 Solid stars with room to get better; and l believe that they will.

I've been going here since the place opened. In the beginning we used to go here for breakfast. I couldn't get enough of the chicken minis and the hash browns. The hash browns are so good especially with the CFA sauce. When I went recently I was sd because they only have one size of hashbrowns still. The other location by my work has a large size. The lines are usually long depending on the time of day. I usually order through the app so it's easy in and out. This time my husband tried the grilled chicken sandwich. I highly recommend it with the honey bbq sauce. I ordered my usual chicken nugget southwest salad. I love the arnold palmer here. Service is always fast and the people that work here are nice.

Why the low ratings?! I crave chick-fil-a probably once every other month. It's super heavy/filling for me, which is why I don't eat it too often. I also find it to taste way better when you haven't had it for a while. My typical order consists of the spicy deluxe sandwich with a frosted lemonade or shake and a small order of their Mac and cheese. I can NEVER not get their Mac and cheese, I love how creamy it is and how they add in burnt cheese pieces. Staff are always nice and friendly whenever I come. If I'm not in the mood to eat heavy, I'll have their southwest chicken salad. In my opinion, you can't really go wrong with chick fil a.

Pick up order. Love the efficiency of ordering through the app and basically having it ready when you arrive. No long ordering or drive thru lines. Two classic chicken sandwiches with extra pickles along with Chick-fil-a sauce and polynesian sauce. The typical flavor profile of a Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich. Hit the craving for sure. Added 3x pickles and they really went in on the pickles which I appreciated. Chicken itself was juicier than the last time I ordered here.

I still frequent this location every couple weeks. I've been trying out the mobile thru since the mobile app has been rewarding extra points for it, but I absolutely hate the merge once you're past the ordering screens. Once you're merged, the line progresses at a crawl. I've been to a lot of other Chick-fil-A locations with seriously impressive operation management and speed, and I'm sad my nearest location doesn't make it faster to grab my food and go. Would recommend the carry out option instead so you're not just stuck in what feels like a traffic jam. This location has started offering a lot of rewards in the past year for like a free drink, ice cream, medium fry, hash browns throughout the day that expire same day (or in the case of breakfast items, by 10:30 am), so check out the app! Food is still great and staff are nice. The last time, the pickup window for the drive through was very leisurely with lots of casual chit chat. It seems like a great place to work for high school age kids, but the speed does suffer accordingly which is unfortunate for a fast food restaurant.

I'm pretty certain I got COVID from eating here on 10/29/25. Thanks for ruining my week to whoever decided to come to work & get people sick! Also, way too many times here it's been pretty obvious they didn't change the frying oil. Disgusting. I'm done coming here.

This Chick-Fil-A location is okay for what you would expect from a fast food place. While I've only been in once, I have gone through the streamlined drive through several times. Most recently, I ordered their Chick-Fil-A Nuggets, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and Banana Pudding Milkshake. I enjoyed the crispiness of the nuggets with the classic sauce along with the somewhat flavorful and crispy chicken sandwich. Even with my lactose intolerance, the milkshake satisfied my late night sweet cravings. Most recently, I wanted to add some nuggets for my friend after already ordering. When they served my order at the final window, they were very kind in allowing me to order more and drive to the side while I waited. The service here has always been good to exceptional, and I enjoy coming to this location for a quick bite.

Kinda recovering from my cold & cough & all I've been having was every kind of soup. I was in serramonte & daughter was in the mood for Chick fil a. So I said, Why not! We got spicy chicken & grilled sandwich, together with waffles fries & a mac&cheese. Of course we get the famous *our pleasure* when I ended transition at register. We dined in & were given this red plastic indicator & placed it on our table. (Idk how it indicates that it's our order coz their is no number or such to indicate, I hope that made sense) Any ways our food arrived, I love the fact that it was fresh, made to order. Waffles fries were REALLY good! Crispy outside & nice & potatoey inside. Why grilled chicken was meh. I prefer grilled chicken than fried but I wouldn't get the grilled again. Mac & cheese was satisfying, i got a scoop of the kinda burnt edges which I . But I do recommend the frosted key lime lemonade, that was really refreshing. Unfortunately it's one of their limited time drink thingamajigs. I was happy with my meal but I guess I'll try the fried sandwiches next.

The seasonal grilled spicy chicken sandwich was more flavorful and hot than expected. I would get it again! The nuggets were slightly salty, but I liked the thin batter. The grilled nuggets were fine. I would rather get the fried ones. Ordering through the app was very easy.

DOUBLE CHECK DRIVE THRU ORDERS I order two items this morning. I watched the worker at the window look at the ticket attached to the bag and then look at what was inside, then hand it to me. I stick my hand in the bag and knew immediately it was wrong(there shouldnt have been a box inside). I ordered TWO breakfast sandwiches. Why even look?!? This is the only chick fil a that has ever messed up my drive thru order. You've been warned.

Second time trying this place and loved what I ordered. The first time was I ordered the waffle fries and it was not good because I like crispy fries but their fries were soft and not crispy at all so it's not my kind of fries. This time I ordered the Cobb salad because I wanted something light. The Cobb salad was good! It's has chopped hot crispy fried chicken, grilled corn, mixed greens and sliced eggs. It comes with a pack of avocado something dress which I didn't use. The salad has a good amount of everything and most importantly it was tasty. If you wanted something fast this place might not be a good fit for you. Service was fast and staffs were nice and friendly. Will definitely come back to get this salad. Parking is easy since there are plenty of parking at the lot. There are outside tables if you want to sit outside on a good day and plenty of inside tables.

I used to come to Chick-fil-A often when I lived nearby, but since moving back to the city I hadn't been in a while. Last week, I stopped by and noticed they had a new pretzel bun sandwich I wanted to try. Since I don't eat bacon, I asked for it to be removed and added pickles instead. Unfortunately, when I got home and checked my order, the sandwich had no tomatoes, no pickles, and still had the flavor of bacon on the chicken, as if it had been cooked with it. I called to share my concern, and the manager, Erik, was very kind and understanding. He listened, apologized, and made sure to take care of the situation. I really appreciate managers like him who go above and beyond to make the experience right--it makes all the difference and keeps me coming back.

Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich!! Even though I'm not usually a fan of chicken, I sometimes crave this sandwich!!! It's absolutely delicious when paired with sweet sriracha sauce!!!

What's the point of mobile ordering if I still have to wait 20 minutes inside the restaurant?! I placed my order ahead of time expecting a quick pickup, but instead, I ended up standing around watching people who ordered in person get their food faster than me. On top of that, they forgot a big part of my order--my 30-piece nuggets! I didn't realize until I got home, and by then, it was too late to go back. Super frustrating. If Chick-fil-A wants to offer mobile ordering, they need to actually prioritize those orders and make sure everything is correct. Right now, it feels like I'm being punished for using the app. Definitely not the fast and efficient service they're known for.

Mobile thru is the way to go, fast and easy. Saves time expecillay when lines are long.

Not terrible. Sandwich alone at about $6.50 and meal with a soda & fries $13. You can just get the sandwich & ask for water & get out of there for $7. They are incredibly polite so asking for water is not a problem.

Got there at 10:30. Took 20 minutes to get food bi was late for an appointment. Massive to go,orders at 10:30? Told them i was eating there. They brought the whole mess in a bag instead of a tray. Go to a different location. San mateo is much quicker. They need to prioritize people in the restaurant

My daughter barely get chick fli a and I came and took her today at 3:22 and the food is great but the service isn't so great the girl giving you the food at the window was way to focused talking to the boy on the inside of the building and didn't even say hi or bye or even a simple smile.

I believe I've tried their food many years ago. My thoughtful East Bay friends used to pick up food to eat at the Oakland Coliseum Arena parking lot as we waited for the doors to open before Warrior games. I had the opportunity to try Sonic and El Pollo.Loco, places not available in SF. I believe this was another spot but, being the lights for basketball went out five years ago, I have no recollection of what I tried. This conveniently located biz opened with much fanfare, stories of how long the lines were to dine in or for the drive thru. I decided to pick up my dinner after finishing an errand down the hill on a Wednesday late afternoon. Coming from the north entrance, I was confused where the drive thru entrance is (look for and follow the orange cones). I ended up in the parking area beside the line and decided to walk in instead. There was only one person ahead of me and I hadn't studied the menu before coming. It seems like the line is shorter walking in so I will likely do that again next time.

I wish I could give this place more stars, but for some reason no matter how I order my food, it's always NOT fast. It just doesn't make sense to me because there are always a ton of workers. The only three star redeeming quality is that I love their chicken sandos and sauce.

I was in the area yesterday so I stopped by for lunch. I was surprised that it wasn't busy, not complaining at all lol This must be one of the cleanest chin-fil-a I have been to. I saw a gentleman mopping the floor and cleaning tables. They have vases with fresh flowers on every table, it made it seemed like my husband and I were on a date. We got out usual order #2 deluxe, you can never go wrong with the spicy chicken sandwich, the fries were a little soggy to be honest, but it wasn't a big deal I still ate them.

Don't bother with mobile ordering, waste of time. They have a dedicated drive-through section for it, you have to enable camera on the app and then scan when you get there. However, my experience is that the drive through is disorganized, they have you pull ahead and wait, then accidentally give your food to someone else, then leave you hanging indefinitely until you finally get out of your car and walk back to the drive through guys who will search a few minutes more for your food. Took five times the length it would have taken to just walk in and pick it up. One item. Also, the app is very fussy and wants you to be at the building before submitting your order, so almost pointless to order ahead. There are two Popeyes a short distance from here (San Pedro one is much better), so if you're craving good chicken that's the better move. It's cheaper too!

This Chick-fil-A is so clean. The staff are so nice and brought the food out as soon as it was ready. The bathrooms were very clean.

Placed an order for mobile pick up at 7:07AM, arrived at 7:21 and my order is not ready. The lady in the front, Honey placed my order as I asked if it was ready. Mind you, I was one of three customers inside during this time. No apologies or anything.

For the last past two months, this place has been going down here. Why do I keep coming back? My kids like this restaurant, but I think this has been my last straw coming to this place. I was aid my sandwich and there is a bug in the bun that was cooked in it. I called to inform them and the only thing the lady had to say to me was to come get my free meal before the two weeks are up from my receipt date that is crazy. First of all, I don't even want to come back and why would you even tell me something as silly as that at this point I just don't know what to do. I'm just so upset .

Service was super fast and the food was delicious as usual. The front staff was so friendly and one in particular Laura was so helpful she offered to refill our drinks and helped clean our table before we sat down. Love this location

My first time here at this Chick-Fil-A even though I live in the city and drive by often. There's always a long drive through line and I heard horror stories then they first opened. We decided to pick up 2 deluxe spicy chicken sandwiches. It was 4pm weekday afternoon and there were A lot of kids in there after school. I thought we would have to wait a bit but service was pretty quick for take out. The spice on the spicy chicken sandwich was perfect. Not too spicy. But I think the chicken shrunk. I've had Chick Fil A many times at other locations and they were much bigger.

Gave this location a second chance. My mistake! Encountered the same issue of missing items in the order. Worst of all, I was unable to get a refund as this location will not address the issue. They won't even pick up the phone. And corporate is totally useless as they claim they have no authority over the individual restaurants. Bad customer service twice in a row is not an accident. It's a behavior. If you choose to order food here, please check completely before leaving the premises.

Love having this Chick-fil-A for a quick breakfast or dinner. The seating is great. Definitely try that honey pepper pimento sandwich while it's here--excellent mix of spicy and sweet. Huge shoutout to Evan-our very kind server. He got our food out efficiently and was very friendly to us. We felt well taken care of in our quick stop.

Chick-Fil-A is soooo overrated. I tried it for the first time on Thursday 10.19.2023 and I was so disappointed. It was the regular chicken sandwich, not the deluxe. There's just 2 pickles, the chicken and the buns. The buns were pretty decent, the chicken wasn't crispy, it was unseasoned and dry. I don't understand the Chick-Fil-A sauce either. I know there are people who love it, but it tastes way too sweet. It's like a little tangy, horseradishey, and just overly sweet. I'm not a huge fan of sweets. I prefer my burger/chicken sammich to be savory. This may be my first and last time trying out Chick-Fil-A. SO UNDERWHELMING!

This Chick Fil A location is always nice and clean. Staff is friendly and always going around asking the customers if they are doing well. The food is always fresh. I always place my order through the app and the wait is never too long. I like that they send occasional rewards as well.

Did a drive thru order on a Wednesday night despite of the line. Ordered a chicken sandwich by itself and a Cobb salad, requested for 2 avocado lime dressings instead was given a different dressing. I mean they have a print out of your order, it's as simple as following the orders of the customer and they can't even do it right. Im surprised to see people still come her

Worst location ever. Customer service is horrible as well as management. Takes forever to get your food, even at 7 in the morning and it's always so disgusting inside. I remember a long time ago. While I was on highway 280 freeway going by Daly City I saw this chick-Fil-A was getting build here in Serramonte Mall. All of The Chick-Fil-A I been to all the cities I'll say this one in Serramonte is the best one ever. And I like their Waffle fries it's so good but they need to easy up on the salt it's a little bit too much on them. Also I like their Chicken Nuggets & Chicken Strips & The Mac N Cheese. Those Meals are so good

Ordered to go through the app, came home and found I did not get everything I ordered. They wanted my to drive back to get a refund. Just trying to make it difficult to get a refund on something I paid for but didn't get. If they can't get an order of 6 items correct, how are they going to refund the items I did but get? Better check your order before leaving because the workers aren't very good and they don't give you a refund when they screw up. How do you bungle and order of 6 items?

In the past month or so I noticed that I always crave chick-fil-a on Sundays, and then the realization hits that they aren't open. Of all the fast food breakfast, this has gotta be one of my favorites. As someone who doesn't always eat the healthiest, their grilled chicken breakfast muffin sits at the top of fast food breakfast sandwich power rankings. Best part, it's under 300 calories! Which means, I don't feel bad about adding a spicy chicken biscuit and a iced coffee. Add a little honey to those biscuit, and damn it's delicious. For non-breakfast, There's athis fast food hack going around where you mix Mac n cheese with chicken nuggets and Buffalo sauce, yes it's good, but honestly the fries and chicken sandwich is plenty. The Mac n cheese is good but not great IMO. Is it better than other fast food mac, 100%. I'm glad the hype has died down a bit and the indoor dining area opened. Lines move quick-ish but it's not the fastest fast food. Give yourself a good 20-30 no matter what.

We wanted to give this place a second chance but it was disappointing again. We asked for fries extra crispy and they came out soft and squishy. Not to mention the portion is small for a large order of fries. Seemed under-filled. (The picture below was taken after we ate a few pieces. But still..) Spicy fried Chicken deluxe was normal and expected. Lightly crispy. Seasoning was ok. Popeye was better.

I once made the mistake of trying to go to Chick-fil-a on a Sunday when I wanted to try it REALLY bad. I didn't know they were closed LOL! I have to say that the first time I ever tried Chick-fil-A was probably a couple years ago when they opened the Redwood City location. Everyone hyped up this place so much that I had high expectations. Turns out, I wasn't all that impressed tbh. I got the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe the first time, and the chicken felt so soggy, it felt so rushed, and it felt like a grade school lunch. Since then, I've tried both breakfast + regular menu items, and it didn't WOW me at all. I went here last night since my fiance and I wanted to give it another chance. We were coming in with low expectations (this isn't the first time we've been to this location, but our first time inside). The drive-thru here is always busy, but it's faster to park somewhere and go inside. There's plenty of parking and a Starbucks next door, plus the entrance to Macy's is nearby. In case you wanted to go inside the mall after, you're just in luck. My fiance and I both got the spicy chicken sandwich yesterday. He opted for fries, and I paid $1.64 more to upgrade to their mac & cheese - another thing that was hyped up so much. We both got original, Polynesian sauce, and sweet & spicy sriracha. Our total came out to be $23.23. We ended up dining in since it was SO cold last night and we didn't want to eat inside the car. I have to say their dining area is pretty nice! Very modern looking, but still pretty cozy. There were plenty of tables that were available and they gave us a table marker, so that someone delivers our meal to our table. I think everything took roughly 10 minutes to order + get our food. It was pretty fast! I have to say our food this time around was better than we originally had it. The chicken itself was slightly crispy, and the spice to it was nice. It wasn't spicy at all, but just a nice kick. The buns were kinda sad, and the only condiment you get is pickles. I ate it with the original sauce and that was fine for me. The mac & cheese itself was decent. I didn't get much of the cheesy top, so I thought i tasted slightly better than KFC's. It still doesn't beat Popeyes tbh. Although this experience was better than my last, it's still pretty average to me.

Placed my mobile order for breakfast this morning and when I arrived and scanned my order at 10:31 it said it was cancelled. I was shocked to see this as I had already been charged $45. I had to wait behind the people at the window for 15 minutes before I was able to talk to somebody, and by that time I was informed that there was nothing that could be done and breakfast had a hard stop at 10:30. I can understand this but the app penalizing me for being late but by 1 minute was a slap in the face as I drove 25 min to get here. I never have a good experience with their app; I don't care if my food is sitting and waiting for me for awhile, I just want the food I asked for.
