Ever had a - "Uh Huh" moment where you look at the picture poster of the food thinking you're gonna get a super large serving of a meal, then all of a sudden reality sits in when you actually get your food, and you see that it's so puny that you're thinking.........."what da hell?"
That's exactly what happened to me recently when I flew into LAX terminal #1, on my way home to da 808!
After I started flying in the wee morning hours from Milwaukee, when I had landed in Los Angeles I was pretty hungry, and low and behold I see this Chick-fil-A from the corner of my eye.
Since I had a 6.5 hour layover in L.A., I decided to make a bee-line to da Chick, since we don't have Chick-fil-A in da 808.
After looking over the simple breakfast menu, I decided to get the Breakfast Chick-fil-A Biscuit Combo meal which consisted of a chicken patty in a biscuit, a cup of coffee, and some hashbrown tater tots.
What can I say about the grub?
For $9.40 (price included tax), I didn't get much food........but I guess the prices here fall in-line with airport food.
The chicken patty was so puny in that biscuit, I swear I took two chomps and the breakfast sandwich was gone! Lol!
The hashbrown tater tots was about a small handfull, and the best part of my meal was that cup of coffee which was much needed due to lack of sleep! Lol!
I guess Chick-fil-A is a pretty popular food joint in Terminal #1, as there were other surrounding food businesses next door, but they were no where as busy as Chick-fil-A!
