Google
Very disappointed that the last three times that I have walked from Terminal 3 (Delta) to Terminal 1 to have Chick-fil-A and each time I have not been able to have an ice-cream cone or hand-made shake. Is this normal? Is there an issue with the machine or are the staff just being lazy? Either way…it’s not good enough. 😢

Tim Fong

Google
Extremely slow service and waited online for over 30 minutes. If you care for your customers to catch their flights on time please put a few more workers.

Bennett Zhou

Google
Very disappointed with the dining experience at LAX Terminal 1. The Chick-fil-A seemed FAKE, no reward points accepted/collected, no drink refills offered, and they charged for water.

Julia Mae Donovan

Google
I just had a horrible experience at this restaurant. After scanning my card multiple times and not receiving it, it finally went through on my end but no through their faulty system. I showed them my phone and bank account and they still said I was wrong. Seems like a them problem to be completely honest and I felt like they were not listening to me. Was not worth the hassle and just stressed me out.

Tim Chu

Google
With all the current hypes around Chick-fil-A, I thought I'd give their flagship product a try. All I can say is the airport location is more like a Chick-FAIL-Eh because the burger itself was dry, small, and not presentable at all. It lacks of any taste nor texture. The location of this restaurant is reasonable at Terminal 2, and it is located in a foot court like set up with other options. Staff is friendly but unfortunately the food is not up to spec.

Siyuan Shao

Google
Nice food, but terrible service. There were three counter clerk, two of them are literally standing there do nothing. We and other customers in the line had been waiting for 5 minutes, and no one served us. Those two clerks just stand and chat, and watched the other clerk busy handling everything. Ridiculous

Google
I traveled from Texas to LAX on the 11th of this month and I was trying to order. There a lady at the front. When I was placing my order she continued to cut me off while I speaking repeatedly, and I ended up just not getting anything. I refuse to be talked over with a short attitude by people and businesses who expect me to pay for their terrible service. Don't go here, they're rude, and nothing is a pleasure for the Chick-fil-A at LAX airport.

Google
I recently visited the Chick-fil-A location at the airport, and I had the pleasure of interacting with Andy, who took my order. He exemplified exceptional customer service, demonstrating politeness, efficiency, and a well-groomed appearance. What struck me most was Andy's helpfulness and positive attitude. He initiated pleasant conversation, which notably improved my day. His demeanor is a shining example of how a positive attitude can make a lasting impact on customers. I would definitely return to this location, especially when Andy is working. His exceptional service has earned my loyalty and appreciation. Kylee

Yelp
Service is great. Quick and efficient. Waited max 5 mins . Line was 20 deep. Got a sausage egg biscuit meal with a coffee. Biscuit was dry dry dry . Tots were fine. Coffee was weak gas station coffee, if you know what I mean. But you don't come here for coffee. Wish the biscuit were not dried out.
google avatar

Yelp
I love chick fil a but just don't try to go to this location. Service is fine. The line can get long. You can order online though to beat the line with 1 dollar service fee. Had an early flight so only could get their breakfast items. We wanted something small so we got the mini chicken sandwiches which were ten for 20 dollars. And then bread itself was inedible the chicken was the only saving grace. But for twenty dollars would not come back.

Yelp
Ambience/Service: Pretty busy location, close to the Southwest gates and all the staff were very patient and had great customer service. Food: Nuggets came out piping hot and the onsite team generously gave me a ketchup and two CFA sauces when I asked for some sauce. Wish they had a CFA at every airline terminal :') !

Yelp
LAX Employees don't have to stand in line! You just go to the first cashier, show your airport badge, and place your order. My total wait time was 5 minutes. I ordered the chicken deluxe sandwich and it was soooo good. I'll be back!
google avatar

Bree C.

Yelp
Your 12 piece nuggets is conducive to a kids meal.. for $19!!!!!!!!!!!! that is just utterly ridiculous!!
google avatar

Arthur T.

Yelp
It's always nice to have a Chick-fil-A available for some eats. I opted for a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit meal. Sandwich itself was good. The sweet iced tea was way too sweet. Probably only drank a quarter of it before I tossed it. Hash browns were unfortunately a bit stale. Meal was $8.25. Not too bad for a quick airport meal. Take note...not open on Sundays.

Yelp
Given that this location is in an airport, the food was decent. I got my usual order and it was made right. My biggest complaint is that they don't take Chick-fil-A rewards nor give you points for your purchase. The service was also not great.. we asked for a brownie and the attendant made us go get it when it was much closer to her. We had to go backwards in line past a few people to get it.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the original Cold Brew with cane syrup. Half & Half was served on the side. Total was $4.63 so Chick-Fil-A wins for affordable coffee in Terminal 1. Just wanted some iced coffee and didn't want to pay $8+ over at Urth Cafe. The line was long and the Cashier Abigail T hustled hard. She was very courteous to all the obnoxiously impatient and rude customers. Crazy how people are so entitled at the airport..good job for handling them gracefully, Abigail!

Yelp
Was craving Chick-fil-A so we were quite disappointed when the LAX storefront didn't live up to its standards compared to stores outside the airport. The food was just sad (reference photo) and they don't take rewards points nor have a store # so you can redeem your transactions for points. Grilled Nuggets ($7.91 for 8 pieces): The pieces are tiny & don't look appetizing but they were surprisedly better tasting than the Chick-fil-A sandwich. Chick-fil-A Sandwich ($6.67): This was smaller than outside stores. It was lacking in taste & flavor from the bun to the chicken. I'd rather eat a McChicken sandwich to be honest. Large Sunjoy ($3.88): This was a good size & tasting lemonade. You taste the sweetness; no sour taste so it tastes more like sweetened iced tea.

Yelp
Always a great day with chick fil a! First time trying this location out as I'm not always in Terminal 1! Amazing manager Mirna! Efficient service and TOP NOTCH taste. I'm always weary of well known brands of restaurants in airports because they taste a bit off, but this one was high quality service. Always MY pleasure visiting chick fil a!
google avatar

Yelp
I went to Chic Fil A today and Angie helped me out, she was extremely helpful and sweet! The line was long but everyone was super friendly and was working very hard. The food was yummy as always.

Yelp
Caught a flight out of LAX the other weekend and wanted to have a pre-flight meal. Stopped by Chick-fil-A since I don't get it often. It was probably one of the busiest spots in that part of the airport - surprisingly, the wait in line wasn't terrible. It took about 10 minutes before we were at the front of the line ordering. After ordering, they were already calling out the order before we were able to pay for it. I got a spicy chicken sandwich, large waffle fries, and a water cup. The spicy chicken sandwich and the sauces all tasted like I normally expect them to. The fries tasted like they were either old or cooked for too long. Chick-fil-A is one of the cheaper options at the airport. I'm happy with the meal overall and would get it again when I'm at the airport.

Yelp
Traveling out of Southwest in the morning saw chick fil-A so I stop by to grab a breakfast sandwich and it was a bad choice.. Biscuits was hard on the corner hash brown was cold and the only good part was the coffee.. It was busy and I don't understand how the food was cold ?? Better off sticking with chicken n biscuits.. ‍‍‍

Yelp
First, let me state that I am a Chick Fil-A LOVER and it pains me to write this review. I just experienced the worst run Chick Fil-A in the country. We get to LAX early so we can have Bret at the Chick Fil-A near our gate. We get there at 10:15, with 15 minutes remaining for breakfast AT A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT, only to be told that all we can order is what is left over in the window and no, I CAN'T get an egg on my chicken biscuit and no, I can't get the number 5 WITHOUT cheese. This is a terrible representation of an excellent brand. WHAT HAPPENED to CUSTOMER SERVICE, Chick Fil-A????
google avatar

Katelyn K.

Yelp
Came by around 830am on a Monday. Line was long but it moved quickly. I was still at the cashier paying for my order and while waiting for my hot coffee from the cashier, they already called out my name to pick up food. So impressed by the speed and food tasted great.
google avatar

Heresy K.

Yelp
Not even 6:30 pm when we were on a layover and they already ran out of food and were turning people away. Not a convenient place for an overpriced airport dinner.
google avatar

Brianna R.

Yelp
Ordered a bowl (eggs, hashbrowns, etc). And the wait was noticeably long. However, the eggs were fresh and I was given a free drink and extra hash browns for the wait. One of the staff members was a little short with me regarding the rewards/points (the don't accept them), but overall a good option for breakfast in terminal 1. Same CFA quality you get at other places.
google avatar

Chris Y.

Yelp
This Chick-fil-A wasn't bad. Located in LAX, and right next to the Panda Express, and inside a food court, certainly not the only option for food. I got myself a hash brown scramble bowl from here since it was still morning service. It wasn't bad, but overall just felt like things were pretty dry. The staff here were alright too. They were plenty friendly and happy working there, so no particular complaints.
google avatar

Dan P.

Yelp
Quick breakfast in LAX. One gripe with this Chik-fil-A- sloppy construction of sandwiches. Both my breakfast sandwiches were slapped together badly askew. Once was so bad half the cheese was lost to the wrapper.
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
This is in the airport. There are limited food options so this one had the shortest and fastest moving line and well who doesn't love chick-fil-A. This quality was lower than I expected but then again they were making sandwiches so fast! We order biscuit chick-Gil-a and a biscuit with egg cheese and bacon. The biscuits were very hard and dry. The bacon was soggy and the cheese was all over the place.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
I love Chick-fil-A. From one store to another the food is delicious and consistent. Chicken is juicy and plump. This place ruined that. By far the worst one I've visited by a land slide. I have no problem paying more for airport food. But the quality was so subpar. The chicken breast was dry and half on normal size. You can see in the picture how thin it is. The biscuit was stale and soaking with butter. Will avoid this place in the future. The hash brown was pretty good.
google avatar

Kathleen W.

Yelp
Average chik fil a experience! Decent food for not bad prices. I ordered the entree chicken biscuit and it was good. Small but does its job as a tiny appetizer

Alejandra P.

Yelp
Just loved the food and the people in there it's nice as well and also it's so fast and good

Ryan F.

Yelp
Apollo is the best employee chick fil a has in the country. He deserves to be managing chick fil a without a doubt. Best experience i've ever had with any employee ever.

Alantis F.

Yelp
I would like to give a big shout out to a guy named Ihor!! He's super helpful and very attentive. His customer service is A1 every time we cross paths. Also, the store manager is always deep in with the employees giving it all she has, and I always see her working late doing her best. Big shout out to her and Ihor!

Shawn C.

Yelp
Worst Chick-fil-A in the company. So slow. Not nearly the same customer service. Couldn't be more bothered. No rewards redemptions. No ice waters.
google avatar

Matthew N.

Yelp
This review is a shoutout to Andyy. You and your crew totally helped me out. I waiting for my connecting flight and because of delays I had 20 mins until I had to board and I had a long flight and really didn't want to have to buy food on the plane. I arrived at 10:20 10 mins before they're supposed to serve their lunch menu. But Anddyy was awesome and worked it out with the kitchen to help me out. They served me and I made my flight with a happy stomach. Thank you guys for making my day of flying easier.

Natalie L.

Yelp
I love this chick fil a. I always come here for lunch and they always have the best customer service . Angie was the one who helped me out and was extremely kind and very fast with her service. Amazing worker and very hard working.
google avatar

Yelp
Literally the WORST I've ever had!! This is the 3rd time I've been to this location as I do fly a lot.. same thing different day... "we only have a #1" and by that they actually mean they only have the sandwich! You would think if someone asked for a number one meal and you didn't have one of the other items.. I'm talking about the waffle cut fries.. you would at least ask if the person if they want a drink.. NOPE! When I asked the manager why is this a chronic problem, he said it was a staffing issue which was dependent on the a amount of flights departing.. NEWS FLASH.. there a literally a couple of hundred people waiting on flights.. it's only 8pm! Maaaybeeee.... Take one of the three people you have on the registers and put them in the kitchen to actually make food!! Food is so basic here and font know why I even bothered.. practically gonna starve anyways, so next time I'll save my money and eat pretzels on the plane. This location should be ashamed to even fly the Chick-fil-A logo... AMPM quality is more satisfying!
google avatar

Vini B.

Yelp
Workers have attitude and work slow. They don't accept anything from the app and everything is overpriced. Don't waste your money here.

Kevin T.

Yelp
Yall need to fire everyone here n closed this location. It's really pointless to have a store open everyday when half the menu isn't available
google avatar

Fran C.

Yelp
Ever had a - "Uh Huh" moment where you look at the picture poster of the food thinking you're gonna get a super large serving of a meal, then all of a sudden reality sits in when you actually get your food, and you see that it's so puny that you're thinking.........."what da hell?" That's exactly what happened to me recently when I flew into LAX terminal #1, on my way home to da 808! After I started flying in the wee morning hours from Milwaukee, when I had landed in Los Angeles I was pretty hungry, and low and behold I see this Chick-fil-A from the corner of my eye. Since I had a 6.5 hour layover in L.A., I decided to make a bee-line to da Chick, since we don't have Chick-fil-A in da 808. After looking over the simple breakfast menu, I decided to get the Breakfast Chick-fil-A Biscuit Combo meal which consisted of a chicken patty in a biscuit, a cup of coffee, and some hashbrown tater tots. What can I say about the grub? For $9.40 (price included tax), I didn't get much food........but I guess the prices here fall in-line with airport food. The chicken patty was so puny in that biscuit, I swear I took two chomps and the breakfast sandwich was gone! Lol! The hashbrown tater tots was about a small handfull, and the best part of my meal was that cup of coffee which was much needed due to lack of sleep! Lol! I guess Chick-fil-A is a pretty popular food joint in Terminal #1, as there were other surrounding food businesses next door, but they were no where as busy as Chick-fil-A!
google avatar

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
You don't expect much service at a fast food LAX restaurant, but you do expect the staff and manager to know their own menu. The sign said clearly that a meal includes waffle fries OR waffle chips. I asked for chips and was told by the manager that I had to order everything separately at a higher cost if I wanted chips. When I pointed to the menu and told her what it said, she ignored me and went to the next customer. No "Sorry, our mistake" or "Sorry, here are your chips." Just rude.
google avatar

Julia G.

Yelp
This is inside Terminal 1 (Southwest). One thing I can say about this LAX location on a weekday morning around 10:30 am is that they are FAST. Line was mid-sized but once I reached the register my order was ready before I finished paying. Really impressed. The large lemonade could've used more ice, and the chicken was a little tough but I appreciate the speed.

Arthur D.

Yelp
So I ordered a lemonade, mac and cheese, and french fries the french fries and mac n cheese were 10/10 delicious absolutely recommend but the lemonade had pulp in it, I want a refund asap hate them for this never ordering any beverages from there again.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
I'm a huge chick-fil-a fan, but this location is a poor representation of the brand! I totally sympathize with the staffing issues restaurants have faced this year, but the staff here is plain inept and rude. When I received my meal, the fries were room temperature which I figured was not a big issue. I kindly asked an employee to please swap the fries, and he explained it wasn't possible due to this location not having a heater (??). I asked for a fresh batch which would inherently be hot coming from a deep fryer and he loudly sighed and grabbed some from the back. I thanked him afterwards and got no response whatsoever. Clearly this individual was annoyed at my simple request for fresh fries and couldn't even be bothered to say a simple 'sorry about that!' Or 'no problem!' Overall will not be back. I understand options are limited at LAX but hiring kind employees is sort of the bare minimum in my opinion. Disappointed for sure!
google avatar

Candace W.

Yelp
Line moves but it takes awhile to receive your order. There is only one worker who bags the food and also has to take orders for anyone in a wheelchair. They need a second person to help. The workers say my pleasure but doesn't come off as genuine. My food did come out hot and some reason they threw in an extra French fry too. I got the chicken deluxe and it tasted like any other chick fil a

Augustine J.

Yelp
Surprised by the service which was indifferent at best. The food was adequate if you're really hungry, but this location does not live up to Chick-Fil-A standards.
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Chick-Fil-A, which was conveniently located in LAX while I was flying and this might be a controversial opinion, but I don't really see the hype with their chicken sandwiches. I got the original one and it is literally a salty piece of chicken (although not overcooked) with buns; the sandwich really needs some sort of vibrancy from fresh lettuce akin to the McChicken (a criticism I have made of similar fried chicken sandwiches in the past, which makes sense now because I think they based their idea off Chick-Fil-A). The waffle fries are essentially unpeeled potato wedges and aren't really appealing to me either. In terms of service though, the cashiers were pretty nice to me and I did not experience any unfriendliness or clownery as depicted in other reviews.
google avatar

Alexander Y.

Yelp
Haven't been to Terminal 1 in forever since I have literally no reason to fly Southwest Airlines out of LAX and found out that Chick-Fil-A opened up here! Despite me being on keto diet, I couldn't resist the allure of being one the first people to try it out. Got the Chick-Fil-A Nuggets to at least reduce the overall damage. The food was good as expected from any Chick-Fil-A, but I was most impressed with the speed in which they get you through the line and get your food after ordering. The line was fairly lengthy, but I got through it within 10 minutes. And I got my food two minutes after ordering! Since airport food is notoriously slow, I must say that I am very impressed with how speed the process is. Definitely happy that Chick-Fil-A is here now. Now to make sure that I don't come here on a Sunday... -_-
google avatar

Roman A.

Yelp
This place needs to place a sign that no cash is accepted. I waited 30 minutes in line to be told that no cash is accepted. Plus the guy with all the pins and rings, should wash his hand after coughing.
google avatar

Jim K.

Yelp
Delicious sandwich. Clown staff. Ordered my sandwich, took out my clip to get my card. When I removed the cash, dude almost died informing me that that don't take cash. Chill your tits brah, I can read. Then he proceeds to take my cc in his ungloved hand run it through and return it to me. How many other cards has he handled with out sanitizing his hands after each transaction? Pretty ridiculous. Be better!
google avatar

Miguel A.

Yelp
The cashier at this Chick-fil-A was more of a host. He was attentive and working the crowd. Great attitude and was very attentive to customers needs. Although short staff, he kept the crowd entertained while assisting customers. Before we knew it, we all had our food. Great experience!
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
A little after 5am. I didn't really want anything more than a snack to start off the day, and of all the eateries recently opened in T1, I felt the chick-n-minis night just do the trick. There were only a couple of people ahead given the time, so service was fast. The minis are exactly what they were - 4 nuggets in small buns. Except thee buns weren't customized for this sandwich - it's simply quartered bread. But it hit the spot - especially when dipped in their Chik-Fil-A sauce. FOOD: 3. SERVICE: 4 (Fast since not a ton of customers.) VALUE: 3 (not bad for LAX.) PARKING: N/A. OVERALL: 3.25. Not bad at all. Will probably try some of their non-breakfast items if the timing is right.
google avatar

Hoa L.

Yelp
Your usual chick fil a airport location with limited items and a long time. Seemed efficient and tasted great. It's a bit cramped since it's in a tiny food court. But, all this is pretty normal for a Southwest terminal. Most importantly, my chicken sandwich was crispy and tasted right. It was also the right temperature. About $8. You can say it's a steal for your wallet or it's a steal compared to the other places that are outright robbery?
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
The LAZIEST people work here! They tell everyone they ran out of this and that at least an hour before closing so they don't have to work! Fire them all!!!
google avatar

Jaxson K.

Yelp
For being inside an airport, this chick fil a was not only convenient, but delicious. The lady who rung me up was very kind.
google avatar

Chanson H.

Yelp
Oh my goodness. How bad can their breakfast sandwich be? Chicken was dry and tassteless and the biscuit is so hard it rips your mouth up. Take one bite and everything falls apart. It's not possible to eat the whole thing as an intact sandwich. If you get a breakfast combo with the hash brown and soda, it actually costs more than ordering separately. Wife saw me writing this and said that two stars is too generous so changing to one.
google avatar

Dan C.

Yelp
For an airport CFA, this isn't bad. I was still hungry after a disappointing bagel sandwich at Einstein Bros. The line had just gone down here and I jumped in. I ordered the chicken biscuit meal with coffee for my wife. She had also been disappointed with the coffee at Einstein and wanted some better creamer. We were in luck, because CFA had premium creamer for the small cup I got for her and I grabbed 5 of them. The biscuit was hot and tasty, just as good as a non-airport store, and the hash browns seemed to make my wife happy. The menu was very limited, but that's to be expected for an airport. If you are looking for a decent and quick airport breakfast, this might be the best option in Terminal 1 at LAX.
