"I noticed the Atlanta-based evangelist of the chicken sandwich, Chick-fil-A, opened a new to-go-focused location yesterday in Midtown: a 4,200-square-foot corner spot at 1622 Church Street. There’s no drive-thru and no dining room—the kitchen is designed to handle mass catering and delivery orders, and payment is limited to credit or debit card as part of a cash-free model. Customers are encouraged to place to-go orders through the Chick-fil-A mobile app or have single meals delivered via DoorDash, though a walk-up counter remains available if you want to order and take your food elsewhere. Spent $50 on dinner for my family of 5. Took about 20 minutes after ordering to get it. Food was cold, only one of 3 ice creams was given, no straws, no spoons, and I was given ice coffee instead of the normal coffee that I ordered. Girl that brought the food was really polite but other than that… definitely won’t be coming here again.

May 15th 2024 I purchased breakfast at this location. $19.35 was my total amount, when I received my food my order was very greasy and wasn’t appetizing. I called customer care and they assured me that the store would reach out…. Needless to say May 31st and still not even a call to offer an apology for the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this location, prices are too high to deliver subpar quality and service.

I love this location! They make the best Sweet Tea. The employees are always professional, polite, and working hard to get orders out fast. Food is always accurate and on point. I highly recommend this location, there is no drive through, you can only order on the app or go inside.

Small but efficient. Food was hot and we were out of there in minutes. Parking is a little crazy but it's worth it if you want Chick-fil-A on that side of town you.

Oh my! If I’m providing a negative review on Chick-fil-A, you know it’s bad! This place is not up to the normal CFA standards for sure: First of all, it’s a difficult place to get in and out of, there’s no dining room and a real lack of concern on the part of the employees. I had to wait 20 minutes for the order and then the fries were stale and cold, I got no nuggets on my salad and the lettuce was brown and yellow and had a lot of the core in it which made it impossible to eat. Just a bad, yucky experience and extremely disappointing for a CFA!

I order the same thing from this location often because of my dietary restrictions and there is ALWAYS something wrong with my order. This is the only restaurant that caters to my needs (gluten intolerance and low sodium) but this particular location is HORRIBLE. The last 4x we have been the orders have been missing items that we have either caught while in the parking lot or have had to go back and get, and the employees looked annoyed at having to fix their mistakes on forgetting the items. The only reason we keep going back is the locations convenience.

They never said my pleasure. They barely said a word. Order was incorrect, my husband noticed immediately because we should of had 5 drinks, and got 4. We didn't check the bag until we got to the hospital and was missing a box of grilled chicken nuggets. We already addressed the missing item in the app. This review is more for everyone else. Retraining is possibly needed at this location, or could be isolated employee. Idk. After reviewing past reviews, this is a chronicly bad location.

Quick and nice service. Was surprised to see it was pretty much mobile order only. They have no seating area nor drive thru so you order at the desk or do a mobile order and go on your way. There is also no seating outside. Once inside, I did a mobile order and my food was ready within 5 minutes. The staff worked quickly and everybody was in and out. Food was fresh and came out nicely, they met every accommodation made to the meal and there were even extra sauces than asked for. Overall great just different having no seating options.

Ugh! What's happening with chick-fil-A!!? This is the most disappointing thing ever. They have signed their soul to the world. Food is fake? The chicken used to be really good and you felt you were eating real chicken, now the chicken feels processed. The lobby is clean but it's not a seat and eat place, just pick up orders. They do have a long bench to wait for the orders. They also don't take cash. Very inconvenient for those who don't use cards for must of their purchases. Yes we still exist. Personnel were just there, the morale was low and "this is just a job so" the "my pleasure" it's gone. I have been buying it less and less because of disappointing encounters when I do... The end.

The wings have me in a chokehold! I got the smoked wings and they were seasoned to perfection and smoked to my delight. I also got a side of Mac n cheese. This location is pickup only. I literally ate in the car because I didn't want to wait to get back to the office. The lunch rush is not what you want. If you are in a hurry, just go another time. It took over 30 minutes from the time I ordered until my food was actually ready. Although on the app it said my food was ready, once I went inside I realized that wasn't accurate. I could have also done curbside pickup. Maybe I will next time. Because there will definitely be a next time.

Worst Chick-fil-A I've ever been too, couldn't find a parking spot after using my app( thinking this would be the fastest ) ( I was very wrong) ended up sitting there for a little over 20 minutes waiting for someone to bring the food. Food ended up being cold and incorrect. Didnt have time to bring this to a managers attention, I would be ashamed to be this franchise owner!

I stood at the food pick up counter with my cup in one hand and the lid in the other for a a solid 5-7 minutes before any employee asked me if I needed something or they could help me. I was tempted to just leave but I wanted to see how long it would take someone to help me. Finally, an employee that I had not previously seen, upon seeing me, immediately asked me if I would like a refill. The other employees just ignored me that whole time. Every other Chick Fil A I have been to in my life, I've ALWAYS received prompt attention when I go to the counter to ask for something. I would never visit this location again.

Picked up a cup of soup and was a bit surprised it didn't have a drive thru but quickly ran in and was served quickly. So the five stars because there chicken soup was completely different than I've seen before. Nice large slices of chicken, curly noodles, fresh veggies. It's like this location upped their game. It is connected to their new venture in Little Blue Menu (I think that was the name) so maybe that's what made the difference.

3 orders over 10 days that are wrong. The last incorrect order could have been easily remedied by delivering the correct items to the hospital. I couldn't leave the hospital because I was the caregiver. The manager refused to deliver the correct items to the hospital. There is definitely a reason this CFA has 2 stars. I will be contacting corporate today and will not order from this location again.

Just went there and the two girls running the register are pretty wonderful! I would go back to just see them alone. Extremely kind a bubbly!!!!! Keep them around! They are such a wonderful experience!

Usually CFA has higher standers, of service. The cashier was very rude, and got my order wrong, and I watched her as she raised her voice at a someone saying how his food isn't her problem... just very rude and disrespectful and she did not listen when I ordered obviously.

This is by far the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever had in my life. I've been forced to use this location due to me working in the area. No matter if I order on the app, use door dash or Uber eats something is always wrong. I would recommend driving to the next closest location, this one should be CLOSED.

Not all Chick-fil-As are created equal. If you have the time to go out of your way to to a different Chick-fil-A it would be in your best interest to. I have tried on three occasions to have a positive experience here and have yet to. The first time we waited longer than I have before at a Chick-fil-A and they forgot our kids meal and salad dressing. The second time they forgot salad dressing and silverware. And the third time I waited longer than normal and they forgot dressing again and our fries were not only cold but were less than half filled. I am not one to write a bad review on the first and even second part experience but by the third time I think it's worth writing an honest review.I am no longer going to be frequenting this location.

One of the most friendliest Chick-fil-A's! I did a catering order for my soon to be brother in law for his proposal party and they were so courteous and sweet. They made sure the food was hot and fresh and that it was easy for me to carry out to my car. They also do deliveries for catering and can help out with big parties! Can't wait to order from here again. Thank you again!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter who is severely allergic to dairy was told she could not get a wrap without cheese because they don't do "special requests". They said they'd "let it slide" this time, but she would get cheese in the future. She would go into anaphylactic shock if she ate cheese. She was told this by a team leader. I am disgusted at how poor the service - don't go here if you have an allergy. Actually don't go here at all.

Wait was longer than usual. The fries were great but the chicken sandwich was the worst I've ever had from a Chick-fil-A. There was like rubber fat which I've never had in one of their sandwiches. Their bread tasted stale and not as hot and buttery as normal. Their lemonade also was not good as other locations. Very disappointed in this location.

Longtime fan of chic fil a here and I had high hopes for this new concept store, especially when paired with delivery services. I mean, what could be better than getting this stuff delivered whenever the craving strikes?! Unfortunately, this new store lacks some quality control. Tonight I gave the delivery a try and my order arrived not only cold, but missing every condiment I had specifically ordered and the drink didn't even have a straw. It's like the worst fast food drive through ever but you're always at home before you realize they've screwed up again! I called the store and spoke to the manager who was very kind and apologetic. I placed a small order and requested all the condiments that were missing (who wants dry unsauced nuggets?) and he said he would personally see to it that it was done right and would even toss in a card for a future free sandwich. So what happened? Another blasted dry nugget arrived at my door! No sauce, no card -nothing! This chic fil a concept is brilliant but if this is the level of management and execution, I fear it won't be around long. Too many great chicken places around that deliver and don't screw up your order every time. CFA - do better!

One of the worst Chick-fil-A's I've ever been to. Food takes too long, quality is severely lacking, and it's always way to busy that the staff aren't able to help their customers. Always seems incredibly rushed and disorganized. If you need to, choose curbside so you can have the least amount of in person interaction as possible.

I love this Chick-fil-a, however they do not accept cash and they do not have a drive-thru. It is very convenient because I typically order on the app and opt for the curbside delivery (they have well over 20 parking spots). This location handles a high volume in catering and delivery orders so they do not have an inside eating option. They have a 10 pack of chick-n minis which I haven't found at any other location which is nice :) The staff is always super nice and quick.

I will never go to this Chick-fil-A ever again. I came in at 10:25 to place a to go order for a hospital. I do lunches from Chick-fil-A almost once a week all over the city. I wanted to order lunch to-go. Was told I'd have to wait 5 mins to even place the order. That's fine, I sat down. A minute later a man walks up and orders nuggets and fries to go. The woman working to cash register Makayla Bender says "no worries" lunch is in two minutes anyway. Proceeds to let him order. I ask for the manager when the order is up and she is kind and explains they have nuggets all day. I had nuggets in my order.. are fries on the breakfast menu as well? No. There is an obvious reason they let the man order and I won't make that comment here because it won't do any good. Very unprofessional. It was an almost $200 to go order. I'll spend my money elsewhere. This is not how CFA does business at any of its other locations that I have been to across the state. Disappointing. My bags ripped going out the door because they were so full. I will say a nice young man helped me to my car and replaced my bags. Kudos to him.

Going to leave a review and seeing as they already have 2.5 stars, my review will not help nor destroy their already crappy reputation. Repulsive service! Waited 20 minutes in the lobby for them to finally say it's been sitting on the line the whole time and they didn't hand it to me. Manager Brandon had the worst attitude & said "What would you like me to do about it"? I never expected this kind of service from Chick Fil A. I've given this location numerous tries only to be let down by its incompetent service everytime. This location either needs a complete staff turnover or to be shut down.

Definitely the slowest chikfila I've ever been to. You can order a simple sandwich and can easily be waiting 12 minutes. They're just packed to the brim with doordash and postmates drivers waiting on large orders and just always seem to be running behind. This is definitely not "fast" food.

Slow! Slow and slow They need to revamp this location or close it up! Everything seems to be a struggle. They don't put condiments in the bag.. sitting at curbside I've had to go in for the last time to get sauce! What's the point of curbside if i still have to get out and go get what i need?! Some of the workers don't seem to care. I'm in disbelief.

Absolutely atrocious experience here. I used DoorDash to get food for myself as well as a couple other friends and there were five items missing from our order. There were no condiments. This is atrocious. Chick-fil-A provides the best customer service and yet they did not check the bag before food was put in there. Very sad.

I've been here many times where the service was fine or good, but the last couple times I've been told they were still preparing my order and it will be a few minutes but after waiting around 10 minutes I have to ask again and my order has been sitting on a table and the food is cold and the ice has melted in my drink. I understand not wanting to leave orders out that anyone can walk up and grab, but for being a place that doesn't even offer dine in, you'd think they would have a more efficient pick up system.

This location has probably been the slowest I have ever been too. The employees nor the management move with a sense of urgency especially with a lobby full of guest. The cashier didn't even greet people as they walked in the door she seemed as if she didn't want to be at work this morning. Every order on the screen was in red. At one point there was only a cashier on the front line so food stop getting expedited. Employees were fixing themselves personal drinks while the breakfast rush was happening which is a reflection on the management style at this location.

Extremely slow. Employees have no sense of urgency whatsoever! You can order food 15 minutes in advance, tell the app you are already there and still wait at least 10 minutes when you arrive! If you are on any kind of timetable don't do this to yourself! If you have nowhere to be, might be okay. Unfortunately, most people are only in this area because of work. Not much reason to come to Midtown otherwise

Didn't know bad chick-fil-a food existed until I ordered from this store. Only thing that was good was the sweet tea. Besides that, I got 2 large old soggy fries that had a soapy texture, and cold & dry chicken sandwiches. I guess it ain't their pleasure to serve me anymore :(

I've been to Chick-fil-A's up and down the East Coast, from Florida to Maine, literally. And I have never experienced a more incompetent staff of people, than the ones at this location. This unfortunately is the closest one to me, and I love Chick-fil-A so I come here often to get disappointed. I always go with the optimism that maybe this time it'll be better... spoiler alert it will not, nor does look like they'll ever get better. I'll just run down some of my favorite terrible experiences at this place. * The time I came for breakfast at 9 am, ordered a #2 4-count, and then was asked AFTER I paid, "hey, we don't have any hash browns, are fries okay?" It was 9 o'clock in the morning I'm not particularly interested in barely warm turtle back fries right now. * They seem to only serve fries that have been sitting out for a while, or burned. This morning it was burned hash browns with a 4 count that was barely cut. Pics below. * My favorite time is when I arrived TEN minutes before breakfast was over (my bad but still) I patiently waited in line, made it up front, and I watch the woman at the cash register make eye contact with me, and step away for a minute or two. When I got to the register she goes "oh we're not serving breakfast." Well I calmly explained I was here in ample enough time to get a breakfast meal, and she CHOOSE not to take my order before 10:30. Long story short I got a free meal card from the manager. * There was the chicken sandwich that tasted like the cook was allowed to ash his cigarettes by the fryer. I mean seriously I don't how they made a chicken sandwich taste like a house fire, but honestly I was impressed. * More on burned food. I think the only setting on the chicken fryer is burnt, or raw. And somehow I always end up with burnt. I have many more disappointments to share but I think this sums it up. Please if you're looking for a decent Chick-fil-A keep looking. This one is terrible. I've been holding off on making a review cause they're still "new" and have steady traffic. But enough is enough. They absolutely ruined my breakfast this morning, and that's the most important meal of the day. I mean did they even try to put the nuggets in some type of order?

Worst Chick-Fil-A I have been to. Placed my order went to pay with cash. Was told they don't accept cash! Waited 15 minutes for a sandwich. Asked why my order was taking so long the said they were waiting for spicy fillets to cook. Meanwhile my buddy who ordered right after me got his spicy fillet with no problem.
