"I noticed the Atlanta-based evangelist of the chicken sandwich, Chick-fil-A, opened a new to-go-focused location yesterday in Midtown: a 4,200-square-foot corner spot at 1622 Church Street. There’s no drive-thru and no dining room—the kitchen is designed to handle mass catering and delivery orders, and payment is limited to credit or debit card as part of a cash-free model. Customers are encouraged to place to-go orders through the Chick-fil-A mobile app or have single meals delivered via DoorDash, though a walk-up counter remains available if you want to order and take your food elsewhere. The Church Street prototype is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and Chick-fil-A plans to expand this delivery-and-catering-focused model nationally within the next year." - Delia Jo Ramsey
