As always, they did not disappoint. The staff were kind, courteous and swift. It was the first time I had used the QR code to check in and it was a smooth experience! We got the heavenly chicken minis that are a true gift from above.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with this location. Both sandwiches were extremely soft and my brownie crumbled up into pieces and it was very dry for being a chick-fil-a brownie. I’ve been to other locations in the Bay Area which tasted much better. Customer service was good but everything else was pretty disappointing 😞.

This Franchise does tout the classic chicken sandwich taste that you can count on for consistency. The price tag for a two persons dinner you cannot beat with a drumstick. Great job guys.

Had a great time at chick-fil-a. Was very hungry and tuckered after waking up at 5:40am for a run. The service was great and I thoroughly enjoyed my waffle fries and deluxe chicken sandwich! The bathrooms were also very helpful as I had to go twice in one visit 😮. The rest of the team also enjoyed their meals. My friend Micah even drank ten of the chick-fil-a sauces straight out of the tub!

I had never had CFA until 2023. This IS the best possible CFA experience you could have. Clean. Friendly. The food was THE BEST I’ve ever had. Wow. 2 More pickles on my partner’s sandwich and it’s a double but wow! What a hit.

Great customer service, Uriel with the fluffy hair was really nice. As soon as I paid, and started walking to look for a table, my food was already ready. It was the fastest service ever. The food was great as well.

Love the place! Although I don’t eat meat, I go there just for their fries. Absolutely heavenly. Hopefully, their Cauliflower sandwich will soon launch in their California locations. Really looking forward to it. The staff is very friendly and service is always quick. Highly recommend ordering through their app beforehand to save time.

Ah the joy of comfort and memories with amazing souls.. That's what Chick-fil-A is for me. Two beautiful souls came into our lives and stayed for a few months during the pandemic. And introduced us to Chick-fil-A. And I loved the spicy chicken sandwich in Raleigh NC as well. This is my comfort food, and the Chick-fil-A sauce and honey mustard are good.

I love the remodel of the place and the selection of items on the menu . The wall inside with the chicken artwork is a nice blue oak. The layout is a whole lot nicer since the remodel. The parking lot is a lot nicer, before the remodel I always felt so tight and it was so congested. I felt I'd always ding someone.

The new redesigned entrance is going to cause a lot of accidents..basically there is a narrow passage for both entry and exit. Crazy design

My daughters and I were in South Bay and we decided to visit Chick Fil A .. decided to go through the drive thru! Like In n out , they take your order and card payment ! Very convenient! We ordered 2 veggie wraps , 2 medium waffle fries and 1 kids meal nugget meal with waffle fries apple juice !! Food was delicious !! Veggie wraps were a 5/5!! Perfectly delicious food with great service too! Highly recommend Chick Fil A !!!

I ordered the burrito scramble and got this ..... Is it supposed to be this small ?? (No Diddy)

Reluctantly, I am recommending this place. The food and service are always great but the layout of the property leaves a lot to be desired. I think that is why they shut down to do a remodel. Next time I am in the area I will see if they have improved.

The service was terrible a young man named Christian has a bad attitude with customers I tried to be friendly with him his response was different I think he is not qualified to be a leader he needs a lot the food is very delicious but I"d rather go to another store so I don't have to see that young man again... people like that are not good for business good luck...

Please add another mobile order QR code to the 2nd lane. What's the point of mobile order if you still have to wait for all the other cars to order:/

My son had his friend spend the night and they asked me to pick up lunch at Chick-fil-A. The Redwood City location is always packed but despite the lack of space, the Chick-fil-A employees are really efficient taking orders and making sure I get out quickly. I ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches with American cheese (5/5) and ketchup and a Strawberry lemonade (5/5). The kids loved their sandwiches and I really enjoyed my lemonade; I could taste the strawberry puree. All in all, we had a positive experience and would order from this Chick-fil-A again.

Chick-fil-A food is always good. I think everyone who has been to this location is irritated by the parking/drive thru situation, but it is what it is. The staff members are friendly and do their best to get you through the line quickly. I've never been inside because of the parking lot, but the drive-thru and mobile pickup areas move fast.

Bro messed up my order gmfu. Got our nugget order wrong and when we asked for two root beer floats we got Dr Pepper.

Was so good the fries and tenders I will be back the service was so fast at this location I couldn't believe it I was in and out

My daughter loves this place she said all she wants for her bday was chick fil A. She had a blast and I'm sure we will be back next year. The cashier and staff were so nice. I almost wish they had a birthday hat for kids but that would make this place perfect

Service was terrible. Inside was cluttered with employees using tables that fit four people but only had one employee there not eating. When ordering a staff member cut in line to place an order for themselves.

Sucks when you pay $40 to get a salad and fries delivered and your salad has black slimy lettuce (clearly old) and the fries were missing. I called and spoke to a manager and they told me I had to go through Uber Eats. I spoke to Uber Eats and they offered me only a six dollar refund, I guess they thought I should eat the salad with slimy lettuce without even dressing. There's no way I would risk my health to eat this!

Worst Chick-fil-A in the bay. I love Chick-fil-A but this location has been consistently bad. Their patty is always smaller than other locations. Don't know if they do that to boost profit. Same goes for their fries. I always order large fries and this location gives you a large fries box half full. Other locations have always filled the box up to the top. Do yourself a favor and go to another location. You will see how bad this place is. Never returning.

My mom order me some chick fil a bc I was hungry and I love chick fil a but when it said it arrived it never did I was hungry and they never delivered I was the right address and they were supposed to leave it at my front door not outside my building it never buzzed I could've been stolen or the just never delivered but not did they not deliver they didn't follow instructions so I am very mad

I have been to San Carlos many times but have yet to been to the Chick-fil-A location where are the freeway. Before the new location in Daly City opened up, this was the main location for people on the peninsula willing to satisfy their Chick-fil-A cravings. After a long day at work I decided to try this location in hopes to not only get something quick for dinner but to finally see what all the hype was about. I was pleasantly surprised as well as understanding why everyone loves this franchise. Just off the 101/ Whipple Ave. Freeway exit, is the Chick-fil-A and although I don't agree with the location which is next-door to a busy gas station. The owners must have see it as a Gold mine due to the fact that there is/ will be a constant flow of traffic here. Luckily, I showed up after 8:30 PM on a Monday and saw the line was fairly short. Overall it was no less than a 10-15 mins from my order being taken, to a hot bag in my hand. It's really a win when read/ hear all the horrible stories of people waiting 30+ minutes or longer for their order. I ordered: the classic chicken sandwich, a four piece chicken nuggets as well as a small side of mac & cheese. When I finally ate the food the chicken sandwich was moist and the buns they used was soft and airy. The mac & cheese was creamy with a nice crust on it. I got to say it was one of the best mac & cheeses I've had in recent memory. The stand out of my meal was definitely the Chick-fil-A sauce. OMG!! I would literally slather it on almost anything and I know it would taste good. Overall, I was satisfied and can see what all the hype is about. I do plan on going back and man I can't wait for another chance at their menu and Chick-fil-A sauce. Pro: The location is extremely clean and well-kept. The food was tasty and moist surprisingly even the chicken sandwiches which can normally be seen as dry. The staff was very professional and patient I only understand that and I hope that they don't have to deal with many frustrated customers who have to wait in the long lines. Cons: the long lines during busy hours. Being located next to a very busy gas station. I have seen people get confused where to go which will lead to frustration and anger. I accidentally drove into the wrong line because they didn't make it very clear which line was for online App orders and drive up drive through orders.

First time here. Very well organized and efficient . Was greeted by worker outside to take my order. She was very friendly. Drove up to pickup area and another worker gave me my food. She was very friendly as well. Great food and great customer experience. Very happy customer here I guess my only complaint would be paper straw would not poke through top for soda.

This is the only chick-fil-A that messes up your order. I've been to about 6 different Chick-fil-A's and this particular one always leaves out something, when I order to go, so annoying to drive back smh

Poor READING COMPREHENSION See the photos - I online ordered the following condiments: - 1 CFA sauce - 4 Ranch dressing - 1 Honey Mustard - 2 Ketchup What I received: - no CFA sauce - no Ranch - 4 Honey Mustard (I guess they were trying hard to unload their supply of this one!) - 2 Ketchup At least they got my food orders correct. Next time: check what's in the bag before the employee leaves the drive-thru Express area, even if they need to stand in the pouring rain.

This was the most disgusting fast food experience I have ever had--and I was starving (which means I would have more mercy for disgusting food). I can't believe I just spent $20 on garbage. They didn't even give me the right order and their so called ketchup was more like sweet and sour sauce, plus cold fries when I asked for extra well. The customer service was great, but the food was so bad that my dog wouldn't even eat it! Shame on you for serving this kind of disgusting food and with these inflated prices. I will never ever eat at your place again. It is beyond pathetic.

Craving waffle fries for the longest time... :') One of the closest Chick-fil-a to SF.. probably explains why there's so much traffic at this location. The last time I went, the line for the drive thru was wrapped around the corner of the gas station.. guess that's also why they changed up the system: one for drive thru orders and one for mobile pick up orders. It didn't look like they were doing in-person orders/pick-up. Before they changed it up, I could've sworn they had a separate lane (other than the drive thru lane) to enter the parking lot, so I completely missed the entrance and had to drive, what felt like forever, a whole big loop back around just to go back to the entrance. Another thing to know is that they're temporarily limiting their sauces due to a shortage.. :'( it's understandable though. 06.07.2021| Monday @ 4:00pm

It's true employees having breakfast occupied a table for 4. They made a mistake of giving us a wrong order, then we told them the lady just grab & threw it away. I mean my child doesn't mind eating it , I was just informing them but she automatically grab it rudely. Poor customer service

This place is crazy busy but does not have enough staff to keep up. This is very obvious with the mobile-thru option. It is not speedy. The food is delicious.

Although I Do Enjoy Getting 2 Nice fresh crispy chicken sandwiches 1 Spicy, And 1 Regular to keep them Balanced, The Fries is beautifully made, Nice coated layer of Salt. I enjoy the service provided.

I was craving some Chick fil A and found one in Redwood City. It was a drive thru. It was delicious choice. The Mac and cheese was yummy. The chicken sandwich was tasty. The milkshake was so good.

The staff in the parking lot who takes all the orders saw this.... Obviously they were more hungry than we were so I wasn't going to argue it was what it was but the funny part was as we waited in line for food they walked right up to us with our food and said thank you so much for being so kind and patient that they didn't want make us wait anymore Wow epic and I do mean epic 100% 5 stars for great customer service and great fast food

The location is interesting. Guess you can't really park and go in. It's more of a drive through location. After you go through drive through you can't really park anywhere to pass out food to the kids in the car. The food was ok. Not sure I'll be back.

We LOVE Chick Fil A and I was really hoping you'd do better, Whipple CFA! Breaks my chicken nuggie lovin heart to give Chick Fil A a mere two stars. Frankly, it would've been one star if not for the delicious Frosted Lemonade to semi-appease hangry me. Horrible parking lot logistics aside, our 1st experience here was a disaster. Y'all been open far long enough to work out the woes of a "new" location. Running total of 1 hour from order, arrival, and bag in hand to receive a partial order of cold food. This. Is. Not. Okay. Multiple missed opportunities to make our experience better. Huge disconnect between the helpful runners braving the nipply cold weather and the window staff to recall mobile orders for drive thru pickups. Placed our mobile order in advance of our drive to this location. Came all this way to be advised upon arrival that they only have spicy chicken sandwiches as they've run out of chicken nuggets and strips - which is literally all that we came for (and the obligatory CFA sauce, of course). APP FAIL: No notification for substitution suggestions nor refund options. Users don't find out menu items are out of stock until you navigate through their nightmare of a parking lot to speak with a live person. False nugget hopes is such a waste of time, gas, and energy. We would've canceled had the app told us this from the jump. TO MANAGEMENT: UP your par levels so you don't run TF out of nuggets and strips on a bustling Saturday night, during holiday season nonetheless! After enduring the 30 minute clusterfk from 101/Whipple to their poorly planned drive thru lanes, we finally get to the tablet folks who checked us in for our mobile order. +15 mins to reach the drive up window from here, where 2 employees were unable to find our order. Onto the next wait where we're asked to pull over for curbside delivery. +15 more mins elapsed. Runner came out with our substitute order. I inquired if the two 8oz bottles of Chick Fil A sauce I was charged for were included in the bags before she handed the order over. She shrugs, "uhm it should be" and walks away without even looking. THATS HOW YOU REALLY FEEL?!?! There is steam erupting out my ears at this point. Unfkenacceptable!!! What COULD have been a small gesture from the employee to check would have saved us the grievance. But no caring moments here. Between employees in the back bagging up orders to frontline runners who delivered, not a single person cared enough to DO THEIR JOB to ensure all paid items were accounted for. Sorely disappointed as a CFA app virgin and even more disappointed with our first time at this location. Very unlikely to return here, the hassle is simple not worth the drive. Can't recommend using the inefficient app again unless there are options to address out of stock items. If you're looking for a stellar Chick Fil A experience, stay on 101 and keep driving through San Mateo County into the next area code bc San Carlos CFA ain't the one.

Can you ever go wrong with Chick Fil A nuggies and waffles fries? Of course not! Although I love the fact that they have a CFA location in the Peninsula now, brace yourself for the traffic congestion by Whipple Rd. That turn near Valero and Carlsen Subaru has always been a pain so muster up your patience for that. But the good thing is you can order ahead and park on those carry out slots if you dont feel like going to Drive Thru.

New hot business! Right off the 101 freeway in Redwood City .. Take the Whipple Rd. Exit. During peak hours, Chik F'la backs up the freeway off ramp and side streets! (kind of annoying) but super Poppin ! Tasty chicken sandwiches and chicken wraps with sides; waffle fries or Mac n cheese and a ton of dipping sauces. Fast service considering the long lines due to popularity. Check em out.. Worth the wait. Always a ton of staff ready to help.

Quick, efficient. Easy to get to. Their food has consistent quality regardless of where I visit for the most part. This location does well on all!

So once you get past the politics let face it, Chick-fil-A makes a good chicken sandwich. This location is no different except one critical issue that will keep us away......... The service was exactly what we expect: Spot on. The food was also exactly what we expect: The Grilled Chicken Club: mmmm. The chicken is perfectly cooked and tasty. The bacon does what bacon does best, add that smokey rich goodness. The furnishings were fresh and the bun held up to the end. So why the 3 stars? Location location location. Its horrible. This used to be a McDonalds and it sucked then. You have a small lot, a busy franchise, on a busy street with one way in and out. Its a nightmare and traffic spills up the street. Its so bad its impacting traffic that not chicken related as well.

Cons: Bad location to be at during lunch, weekends, evenings. Traffic jams up quickly because Whipple Rd was already a busy street so to add this franchise's popularity causes MORE traffics jams than before. Mobile pickup can be quite a delay since the parking lot is so full. Pros: Good Food and quick service. Come here after the lunch rush and before the evening rush and you should be able to get quicker service. As busy as they are, the employees are moving quickly from lane to lane and the food is just flying out the door. I give them credit for being efficient NOW. Some of the previous reviews were when this place was still new so it's understandable that they didn't get a quicker rotation going earlier. They have three lanes for Drive through and a mobile pickup station outside. HOWEVER, I don't see how you can have a successful MOBILE pickup when the parking lot entrance is jammed with cars trying to fit into one of the three drive thru lanes. Food is tasty! Will come here when it is NOT busy.

Unless I hear back from you, I will be filing a credit credit dispute for incorrect charges.

3.5 stars for the food and NOT having to wait in the drive-thru line. Maybe it's just the grand opening traffic but I have no idea how Chick-fil-A pass muster to operate at this location. The line of cars backed up to the 101 off ramp. People wanting to make a right turn onto Whipple - good luck! What about that Arco Gas station at the corner? All the entrances are blocked by Chick-fil-A customers. The Chick-fil-A app was key to getting in/out in 10 minutes. I heard cars were waiting up to an hour! The app's Pickup options were Drive-Thru or Carry-Out. "Park offsite" for Carry-Out caught my attention so parked a block away, walked to the mobile pickup, and wallah - bag in hand & on my way. Great chicken sandwiches but there's no way I'm waiting an hour for it. Have fun!

I had the exact same negative, brand crushing experience as the other reviewer, yesterday on Veterans Day 2023 at this location. Nationally, the chain advertises Vets Day promos, with a disclaimer than stores are independent. Well, guess what this Belmont, CA location is ... They don't give a F about you and me. They want to destroy our country for themselves and their comrades. Laughing all the way.

Standards are high at every Chick-fil-A! I do think this location is a little under par and still figuring it out. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt because that's what I do! The guy that took my order was very attentive, personable and friendly. I don't remember his name but I think it started with a C, and it also said " video game creator" or something like that on his name tag. I ordered my favorite salad, the market salad. I always get the chick fil a nuggets on it instead of the grilled chicken. It was a solid salad, I was pleased and I would recommend with the apple cider vinaigrette. I also got a small fry order, and those were placed in my bag upside down for some reason lol. This location is a lot closer to my house but I've been driving to Sunnyvale because that location is always reliable. I'm not sure if I'll say that about this location YET, but I will go back and see if they can keep me coming back!

I've been wanting to try Chick-fil-A for the longest, but I am not the one to wait in a ridiculous line. If you are like me, please order ahead because that line is off the chains! Like, just making that right turn off the exit is a pain! I did my thing and downloaded the App, placed my order and drove there. You'll have to check in on your app when you arrive and then walk to the pick up station, which is right out front. Forget trying to get in to find parking because the line is backed up like a mug! We decided to park next door and I walked over. It was a madhouse, but the preorder line was smooth sailing. I got my order in less than 5 mins. We ordered the Spicy Deluxe with pepper jack cheese meal, CFL Deluxe meal and a nugget kids' meal. I liked my sandwich and the bread was super buttery! I especially liked their Chick-fil-A sauce that pairs with everything. The waffle fries were OK, and the sandwich was definitely the winner. For my drink, I ordered the mango lemonade tea, which sounded real good, but tastes like pure corn syrup. Next time, I'll stick to water. One thing they can improve on is the flow of traffic, but it's a sign that they are popular!

Girl who took our order in drive thru was so rude and just seem irritated to take our order. I've never had that experience at chik fil a . I don't know if she was having a bad day or what , but if you don't like your job then quit. We went on May 6 for breakfast.

Chick-fil-A in the peninsula? Yes, it's true! Gosh living in Dallas I literally had Chick fil-a as a constant option! But since we moved here and we pubs out we had to either drive to San Jose/Sunnyvale or the East Bay. We made the drive to Sunnyvale once a week but now we can take a short ride to Redwood City! Sooooo much closer. This location is busy and honestly the only reason why I docked a star is because the traffic runs right off the highway and can quite dangerous. I know the workers work very hard to keep the traffic flowing but the actual location of the restaurant is not ideal. You can't really pick up mobile orders you need to drive down the street and park there and walk to get your order. If you park next door to Pizza Hut they threaten to tow. The food is amazing! Chick -Fil- A is always a solid food choice. Excited to have one location here hoping many more will come along the peninsula in the future.

Don't know what happened, but the manager needs to manage the employees. They need to do a quality check on the food as well, the fries and grilled nuggets were over salted. I asked for no cheese but got cheese. My son asked for no lettuce and no tomatoes but they were in his sandwich. From the drive up window, I saw 5 guys talking and laughing and a counter full of orders. One of the girls saw me watching and looked up my order on the counter and gave me the bag, she asked me if I got my drinks yet, I said no. She got the drinks for me too while I still see these guys laughing and joking around. Not a good way to represent a company.

Been here twice since it opened (don't judge!) Pros: Friendly, polite staff. Someone tried to cut us off in the car line, and they were kindly asked to go around the block and get in line again. They are also super efficient with getting your order and reiterating it to you. I was impressed it wasn't a total dumpster fire given the volume of guests - they do crowd control gracefully. Their chicken is just always tasty and the quality is good for fast food . Fried, grilled, nuggets, all of it!! This one is not stingy about sauce. Some can really nickel and dime you for sauce or just not ask you altogether. Location- near the highway. Pick it up for dinner! Cons: That line and accessing the store, although I can't imagine this is permanent. The store is very close to a an intersection (Whipple and 101 southbound service road) with no u turns allowed, and once you pass that on Whipple, you're getting thrown on the 101 north next. The line right now often extends past this intersection as well. There is no great way to get here unless you're coming from the 101, or coming from other side streets, or a small stretch of veteran's Blvd from downtown rwc). They got one of our 5-6 items incorrect (chicken strips instead of nuggets) but it was a very large order.

[ During Covid Review ] Unfortunately there is not a chain of Chick-fil-a near me and so after craving it for awhile, my fiance and I decided to grab some and headed over to this location to fulfill my urges. Because of the pandemic we are all living this place follows Covid-19 protocols. They make sure that all employees are wearing gloves, masked up, and they really do try to keep their distance when they take your orders. When we arrived, there was a huge line (two lines) to order via drive through. Each employee who takes your order has a menu that they hold up for you so you can figure out what to order. What I liked about this was that you didn't have to wait to get up to the part where menu is posted and you talk through a speaker machine. The employee will actually come up to each car and take your order pretty quickly along with payment. I felt that this process was speedy because after they take your order, they actually deliver your food to your car instead of having to wait to get the front. This was awesome because : 1) my food was hot still 2) I was able to just drive after getting the food and not having to wait. I ended up ordering the grilled chicken cool wrap along with an avocado dressing. I love this wrap because it has perfect balance of lettuce, and chicken. Plus the wrap doesn't break while you eat it because it was wrapped tightly. I also like adding in the avocado dressing to add that nice flavor to a plain wrap. My fiance ordered the spicy chicken (#2 meal) which included a drink and some fries. He liked it because the chicken isn't actually spicy that he can handle the spice if you know what I mean. Plus who can say no to fries? I only wish there was a chick-fil-a near me that way I don't have to drive far for this, but oh well.

So disappointed when I bought 4 chicken sandwiches for $23+ only to find a bun and piece of chicken on them!! No dressing no pickles etc, didn't find out until I got all the way home, major bummer, this place has really gone downhill fast. Popeyes it is from now on.

Is this place really a chick-fil-a? They don't even say my pleasure when u say thank you. We brought it to the manager on duty attention and he blew us off. We finally get the food and drive off to find out the fries were undercooked!!!! OMG how can u mess up the waffle fries. This place is the worst, the manager that said he's been there for 10 years, needs to find a new job.

OVERALL: Yes, the line is LONG. They're still new, so expect to wait on Veterans before even turning onto Whipple to get into their parking lot. It's a fast food chain, so their food is consistent. They still have some kinks to work out but I will be back many times. FOOD: Chick-fil-A is always good. I had the nuggets and fries. The fries were a bit limp, they could improve on making sure they are always fresh. I was so impressed I could purchase 8oz tubs of their sauces! I took home my two favorites. SPACE: You can't eat inside right now, so I can't speak much to that. It was newly remodeled, so my guess is it's nice inside. They do have their own parking lot, so that's convenient. Once you get drive through, you can park in a spot to eat. SERVICE: The drive through people are doing their best. The line is long, drivers are frustrated, but they are really trying to move cars along and not hold up traffic. They move you through the line efficiently. You can also order and pick up at a check in table outside their door. I think they're also on Doordash for delivery.
