15 Great Takeout Options in Orlando, Summer 2020 - Eater Miami

"Local poultry fiends, and visiting and expat Nashvillians alike, seem to agree that Kwame Boakye may have out-scorched Nashville at their own game with the hot chicken he fashions out of his trailer parked at East End Market. The white meat tenders are procured from Prestige Farms in North Carolina before Boakye brines it, batters it, fries it, and tosses it in a hot oil glaze peppered with hot sauce. This being Nashville hot chicken, even the “mild” can draw out the hashafashashas and transform heads into water sprinklers. For masochists, “hot,” “hot x2,” and “hot infinity” are sure to trigger pain and pleasure receptors simultaneously." - Faiyaz Kara

Visited Chicken Fire after reading all the great reviews. I enjoyed my meal, it was very tasty and the Customer service was AWESOME, I thought that the chicken sandwich should have two tenders it was way more bread than chicken. I had the Mild chicken and it had the right amount of heat, delicious. Also I liked the music, but it was really LOUD! Maybe bringing down the volume a couple of clicks makes it easier to communicate and talk. With that said I highly recommend and look forward to going back.Thank you!

They are not lying, that hot x is fire!!! That is some good spicy chicken. We like spicy and the medium was hot! The food is delicious and the fries are really good! You need to come here for some hot chicken!! Service is good and the soul sauce is great too. All around a great place!

First time trying and will definitely return. Purchased the Fire Box and it was great. Portions were good, taste was great, not unbearably spicy. Employees were very kind, respectful, and one gentleman in particular took the time to walk to everyones table and check on them. I didn't get his name but he was very kind. He also said he liked my name so that helps a lot 😂. Only downside is this location does not have enough seating for when it gets busy and that's a sign that it is great.

Google
I recently had a remarkable dining experience at this establishment, and I am somewhat puzzled by the lower rating given by Keith Lee. The quality of the food was exceptional, particularly the chicken sandwich, which I found to be the best I have ever tasted. It is worth noting that the menu features a prominent brown sugar flavor profile, which may not appeal to all palates. Specifically, the mild chicken and fries incorporate this flavor, complemented by a subtle hint of spice. Overall, I was highly impressed with both the service and the food quality, and I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Google
I was really impressed with chicken fire. Greeted when we walked in, and not like a standard I have to greet you because my manager tells me too. Big smile and a big welcome. She comes around the counter and ask if we’ve been there , showcases the menu , explains their heat level, etc. Just genuine care and customer service. Food came out promptly, and when I opened that box , I got slapped in the face with a beautiful image and aroma. I got the meek heat ( not a too spicy guy) it was perfect , just a hint of spice that hangs with you throughout your meal. The chicken was crispy yet juicy and seasoned to perfection. The fries were the same, but with a dust of sweetness at the end of each bite. The soul sauce really came in and brought it all together even more tho. Had to get an extra sauce cause it was just that good . Hands down the best chicken n fries I’ve ever had. Thank you! Can’t wait till the next time we’re in Orlando. ❤️ 🐓 🔥

I've been a Dave's fan for a while now, but I decided to give this place a try. At Dave's I get the extra hot, but the sweet young lady here told me to do one medium and one hot like I'm one of those chumps that's gonna start whining about the spice level, deeply hurt. First off, the soul sauce, hands down better than Dave's ketchup mayo, and nice with the fries. The homemade ranch is a winner too. The hot was a perfect level. I ate it 2 hours ago and still have a caryophyllene sense of well being, no pain, just pure positivity. The slaw is also memorable, makes you miss your southern granny, not too sweet, just perfect. My only suggestion would be that no one has good old fashioned, creamy Mac and cheese at these places. Imagine a bowl of that with two chopped up hot tenders on top, then your soul sauce on top of that, or maybe an option of both sauces? Yeah, I'm crying just thinking about it or maybe that's just the spices talking, so good!

Google
I got the Munch Box with the MEDIUM heat. The chicken was cooked to perfection. And I was really happy the sandwich had a nice, small kick of heat to it (my spice tolerance is very high so other people might find it too spicy). The French fries had a really good amount of seasoning and were cooked well. The sauce was delicious and went well with the sandwich and fries. It is similar to Canes sauce! The fries had almost a slight BBQ taste to them. So good !! I ordered off of Uber Eats because I was visiting and didn’t have a car. It took about 1hr & 30 minutes for the food to be delivered, which I think is a little too long. Also, if you’re ordering to-go, I’d recommend putting the Cole slaw on the side. By the time it arrived, the bottom bun was very soggy and off putting. I could only imagine how much better it would be if the bun wasn’t soggy. Overall, one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had! For the amount of food you get and the price, would recommend this to everyone!!

Google
Awesome soul food type chicken and crinkle fries everything taste awesome! Get or medium if you don't want to hot. It's kinda expensive but definitely worth it my only complaint but it isn't a big deal is the inside could be nicer the roof has black spots and looks like its about to fall though but who cares the food is tasty and the employees are awesome

Yelp
Chicken Fire is an excellent example of not need a large menu to be a successful business! They have a handful of items on their menu and they do them all extremely well! From the moment I walked in, I was treated with great hospitality! The team was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. The restaurant is a "hole in the wall" a small space with big personality! I got the fries with the signature Soulful sauce. By far the best fries in Orlando! They were crinkle cut and perfectly crispy while having a soft interior. The seasoning on them reminded me of VooDoo chips. Their Soulful dipping sauce was like a more flavorful Kanes sauce! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Quick, friendly, SPICY I'm not sharing anything other people haven't already said, but I have to add that Chicken Fire has never disappointed. Sometimes it can take awhile for the food to be ready, but I appreciate that my food comes out hot and tasty. The prices are bit high for the amount of food you get, but I'm usually good with a Kid Box because the spice hits hard. Interior is minimal with some limited seating. This is more of a grab and go spot.

Yelp
The food is Ok, my son love it, he likes spicy. For me and my wife is not that good, to much seasoning. The place is ok (even cheaper regular fast food place) less fancy than McDonalds, don't expect to much a fancy place. Now the service is another level, Naia is amazing, very nice and very interactive. If you are a person that likes to eat only healthy food, and don't cheat meal, don't come

Yelp
Chicken Fire is no joke as fire is in the name. We came and ordered two hot boxes and a kids box. So happy I opted for the kids box as it was a giant piece of chicken and fries still. The seasoning they add to their crinkle fries is delicious and sweet. The chicken spice levels vary I ordered the soulful which was sweet and nothing spicy at all. The other two boxes were medium and hot spicy levels. Which definitely had some heat to them. Service is friendly and helpful. You order at the kiosk and all food comes out Togo style.

Yelp
I love me some Chicken Fire! This is a spot that my coworkers and I go to at least once a week for some delicious chicken tenders! They have various different levels of heat that are hotter than what your typical mild heat would be! For myself personally I get the kid box which is one jumbo chicken tenders with fries and a side of ranch at meek level heat. Meek has just enough kick where the food is still flavorful! Sometimes when I'm feeling brave I will get the hot x but that's something I can only have a few bites of. The team here is always so friendly and welcoming and overall just great people to chat to while waiting for food. If you haven't tried this place out you are for sure missing out!

Yelp
Wow, so good! If you like fried chicken tenders this is the place for you! Several heat levels for everyone. The tenders were big, plump, juicy, and freshly fried to order. The batter was tasty and crunchy. The hot box comes with seasoned fries or plain salted, and coleslaw which was delicious! Fresh and crunchy and perfectly seasoned! Also, some bread to soak up the chicken juices and 2 pickle slices that were crisp and refreshing. The place itself is devoid of nice atmosphere but the staff was super friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Just stopped in for a quick bite. Tried the 2 hottest tenders. They were juicy. The hottest was spicy but it was too spicy and the taste wasnt great. Id recomend getring the Hot because the flavoe and taste was a good representation of good Nashville hot chicken.

Sandra B.

Yelp
Best chicken ever! It's the juiciest, most flavorful chicken we've ever had! Our table order meak, mild, and medium spice levels. The fries are so crispy on the outside, but soft and fluffy on the inside, served with tons of seasoning. We loved the pickles and coleslaw too! I even loved how you just walk in and order on a tiny kiosk. Couple of tables for dine in, but your food is packaged to go

Yelp
Picked up some food from here, upon arriving it was very busy but my order was ready! My husband and I went to a park to eat the food but unfortunately they forgot the utensils and napkins (I requested them on the app) so it wasn't the most pleasant experience eating since we couldn't wipe our hands or eat the cole slaw since we didn't have utensils. The chicken was literally FIRE and tasted sooo good. The fries were perfectly seasoned and the sauce was AMAZING. I will say, a 2 oz sauce container is definitely not enough for 2 jumbo chicken tenders and fries, so next time I'll be getting another. Also- the bread was a little disappointing since it was just a piece of white bread all smushed on the bottom of my chicken box. Overall the food was delicious and we will be returning, I will just be checking my bag before leaving and getting 2 sauces.

Yelp
A local gem that sets the standard for spicy fried chicken and french fries. The Munch Box is a delicious fried chicken slider served with coleslaw and pickles in a buttery brioche bun with some of the most amazing crinkled fries. However, the Hot Box, also 5 stars, is savory fried chicken with heaping amounts of coleslaw and pickles all on top of crispy crinkled fries. Just keep in mind that most non-fire eaters probably want to keep the heat level at meek or soulful.

Yelp
Naia is super duper nice! She was so fun and attentive! Im surprised that they dont have tipping. She gave all the information we needed and beyond! Amazing customer service! The chicken: f a n t a s t i c!!!!! Very spicy Im used to it so I got medium and hot! Delicious! Real chicken! Their fries have a bbq seasoning which im not a fan but Naia let me try before ordering ! What a great place and great vibes! Ps. this is more of a take out restaurant Highly recommended!

Yelp
I remember when this was a food truck at ala carte. I am not a fan of spicy or hot so I always skipped over their offerings. Years later they have a physical location and upon review I see they offer a "soul full" option which is all the seasoning and none of the heat. Sounded great so I gave it a shot. The restaurant is let say a well used space in a building that is not new. They apparently have some leaks in the ceiling as evidenced by the stained saggy drop ceiling. So ambiance is not real high. The staff however was great! Super friendly and helpful with ordering. (Ordering done on a tablet) but she was right there for any questions which was appreciated. The price is great too. I always like when you can get a decent meal for under $15. The food was great. I did the combo with fries and the fries had a seasoning on them which was pretty tasty. The person I was eating with said the fries reminded them a lot of the taco bell fries (I have never tried) and she enjoyed them. The Chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside and had some great flavor to it. I did the sandwich and next time I think I would pass on the bun as there was nothing remarkable about it. I think it sort of hid the great flavor of the chicken. The place was pretty busy for a late Saturday afternoon so I suspect there are many others who know how tasty this is. I recommend checking this place out if you are in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Everything is made to order so it does take some time but I can say it is well worth the time. I highly recommend the extra seasoned fries and the soul sauce. I had the hottest chicken that you can order. I can handle extreme spicy it was such a great flavor and had a nice kick but it could be spicer for me. My husband and their version of mild and he loved it. The place is smaller and seats are limited but well worth it. We will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Yelp
The absolute best! The staff is so friendly and welcoming and always ready to answer any questions you may have. The tender box is such a great deal you get so much food and I love the pickles. It can get a little hot and crowded inside so we usually take it to go and then have a picnic lunch outside at a nearby park or something!

Yelp
If you ask me, Chicken Fire gives Raising Canes a million kicks in the pants. There's a reason why there's always a line to eat here, good luck finding a table inside. The tenders are always juicy and flavorful, with the crispy crunchy exterior. Their fries.. man, that bbq seasoning they add is fire (no pun intended). This is my spot for a cheat meal. There's honestly, nothing else like it in Orlando.

Yelp
Chicken Fire is a local chicken spot over in the Colonial area that focuses on hot chicken sandwiches and tenders. If you're a fan of heat then this is the spot for you. This is more so a small chicken joint with limited seating especially considering the fact that seats fill quickly. The staff is very much friendly and they will give you a fair warning about the spice level of their chicken prior to you ordering. I opted for the mild chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich is dressed very well. It's served on a bun with slaw and their own sauce. My first thought biting into it was the mild definitely has a bit of a punch to it. The slaw pairs very well to give it a freshness and cut into the spice. The sauce provides a necessary tang to the sandwich that I appreciated. The chicken is seasoned well and is very crispy. The fries have a bit of a different taste to it than I expected. They're crispy for sure but the seasoning on top is a bit sweet. This wasn't my favorite. The bottom line, very friendly and helpful staff and the food is high quality. There aren't a ton of places that offer the combination of high quality food. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
I had Chicken Fire saved for a while before I was finally able to visit. It is located off Colonial in a strip mall with plentiful, yet slightly difficult parking. Walking in there are two iPads to order from and a few tables. There was not much in the way of decor inside, it almost seemed like a takeout only restaurant. Everything is served in a brown paper box. I chose to get a box which was fries on the bottom, chopped hot chicken (I chose mild which had some heat), coleslaw, sauce and pickles. It was good. Definitely very spicy and I typically do medium but mild was enough here. Overall it was good, but not significantly better than other hot chicken locations. It was just spicier than them.
google avatar

Jaleesa H.

Yelp
I walked in and was greeted immediately and felt very welcomed. The place is very small but there's tables to dine in if you want to. I ordered the chicken "hot box" tender box which comes with two very big tenders, fries, bread, slaw and a sauce for dipping. The chicken was very perfectly breaded. I got the soulful seasoning and I liked it a lot.
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
Please keep in mind it's called chicken fire for a reason! Made a rookie mistake and went medium & hot my first go around and WOW I love spicy but this heat sent me to the firey pits of hell. It was that can't stop eating good but also can't breathe. Now that I've been there, done that - my favorite recommendation is the slider box in the soulful flavor and mild flavor. Mild will still kick you in the pants but without the tears! It's counter style service and the servers are always extremely friendly!

Yelp
Amazing amazing!!! We live in polk county and Specifically saved this for a lunch date!! Totally worth the hour and 20 min drive!! Price , flavor, texture, portion sizes 100% on point... BUT the most important part was the customer service! The cashier, Aniya was amazing. Within 10 seconds she was able to identify me and my wife's heat tolerance and suggested the perfect combo that works best for us!! Did not disappoint.. furthermore it was so hot today we decided to eat in our cars and she physically went to our car to check on us and ask if everything was good......Who does that?!?! That's awesome hope she gets a big raise.

Yelp
Holy Wow! The hype for this place has been around forever and I kept forgetting to try it. Well.. last weekend, I did it and I have already slapped myself for not going sooner. Literally the BEST chicken sandwich I ever had and THE BEST fries. I got a hot box which was two sliders but these were legit sandwiches.. not little sliders. I got the mild and it was hot like a perfect tingle of heat. I'm not a wuss but I'm not trying to pay for punishment, ya know?! The sandwich checked all the boxes. Crispy, juicy, flavorful, amazing pickles, crunchy coleslaw, soft bun. Like .. perfect. I was trying to eat it in the car and it was drippy and yummy and I needed like 10 napkins but I love a messy meal if it's delish. That adds to the immersive experience. The fries though.. they sprinkled them with some Smokey sweet fairy dust that was out of this world. I can't wait to go back and take the fam. You guys really are worth the hype.
google avatar

Elle S.

Yelp
The food here is incredible! I heard a lot about this place from my friends at work. We tried it and it definitely lives up to the hype! The fries alone are worth going for. Be warned, their spice levels are actually SPICY. I got the mild and loved mine, but my husband got the medium and was shocked by how hot it actually was. Its the kind of spice that builds over time. We will be going again very soon!
google avatar

Yenderson S.

Yelp
Best chicken sandwiches I've ever had! It's very affordable, their service is great and the food is so tasty! Be mindful with the level of spice you choose, it gets very spicy the fries are good too, maybe a little too much spice, but tasty. The food in general is very rich, so be careful the day after
google avatar

Yelp
Not sure how many times I've been here, but it's very consistent. Kiosk only ordering. Every time I come through it's busy with people waiting to get their spicy chicken fix. Today was just a normal spice level for me which is the medium(very hot) spicy. Remember they do take it to another level so be prepared to melt your mouth if you get anything higher than medium. I have done all their spice levels in the past and you do have to sign a waiver to eat them. It's not for the faint of heart. There is a euphoria you will feel with extra spicy food:) The restaurant is pretty small with only a few tables, but most people are in and out pretty quick so you should be able sit and eat. They automatically serve it in to-go containers so you are ready to go either way. Remember too, the chicken is made to order, so there is a little bit of a wait time about 10-15 minute's depending on how much you order. Chicken is expertly fried, seasoned and juicy. A few times I've been here the breading was a little thick, but for almost all of my visits it's been just right. Pro tip: Order an extra tender... at least for me, I like to eat 2 tenders there, and take the extra one home for a late night snack:) Crinkle cut fries are my favorite fries and the sweet and salty spice blend is delicious. I always order extra seasoning on the fries, because why not. Love this place. Still my favorite hot chicken spot in Orlando!
google avatar

Marina C.

Yelp
I love chicken fire, and I am always craving it when I'm not in Orlando. The portions and the flavor are great. I always do takeout, so I can't speak to the service or ambiance here. My go-to is the hot box. The hot box comes with 2 big tenders, fries, 2 pickle slices, coleslaw, sauce, and a slice of bread. I like that the coleslaw is light, and I especially like the seasoning on the fries. The chicken tenders are huge, and they're cooked well. The bread is ok. It's just a standard slice of white bread. You can adjust what level of spice you would like on your food when you order. I have a very high spice tolerance, but I would recommend a very low spice level because it's the kind of spiciness that blocks out all other flavors. If it's too spicy, you will miss out on the actual flavor of the food rather than the spice enhancing it. Overall, this is a great spot that consistently serves good food. I recommend it.

Heather M.

Yelp
Came here today for the first time, Naia was super friendly and helpful! You order at the kiosk counter and food came out quick! I had the hot box with mild heat and it was perfect medium heat (for me) that didn't burn your mouth off but was super flavorful. I took home half as the portion size was huge! French fries were next level and my son said the dipping sauce was Bussin, we will be back!
google avatar

Jonathan H.

Yelp
The value is incredible! The amount of food you get for the price is amazing. The staff at the front gave us a good breakdown of the different food options. They call you and text you when your food is ready which is nice. Everything is all packaged to go when it comes out. It's pretty hot and cramped in the restaurant though. The chicken is great quality. The spicy levels are pretty intense, so even meek/mild is very spicy! Everything came out hot. The fried, pickles, coleslaw, and bread was great too. Only reason I would give 4 stars is because I don't love super spicy food. If you are into very spicy food and hot chicken, this is a definite 5 star.
google avatar

Amara S.

Yelp
I absolutely love their mild chicken tenders. They are packed with flavor, juicy and it has that crunch on the outside. The fries are seasoned as well, which I love. I love to get honey as well, makes the chicken 10x better. I was upset that I opted out for pickles and there was a pickle right on the chicken (the pickle was thrown off as soon as I saw it because I absolutely hate pickles, the smell and the taste). The pickle kind of ruined it for me, I had to literally douse the chicken in honey. Overall I love this location, the staff is always friendly. I wish there was more seating because there are times where it gets busy and the seating is limited to about 10 tables.

Ricarta C.

Yelp
First time here. Service was a bit slow to get our food but it was hot and fresh. We ordered the meak munch box and medium munch box. Meak~ perfect for me as I don't like super hot or spicy Medium- holy Moly grab some milk ! For those who love super hot, this is for you ( not us ) lol! Fries were overly salty for me so this was a check off our list but not somewhere I'd come back too often. It made me sick to my stomach unfortunately.
google avatar

Monica M.

Yelp
This place is out of this world. Stopped in after hearing good things while in Orlando and glad we did. The people first and foremost, are incredibly sweet and very helpful. They made sure everyone in line knew their operation and process. You order on a screen and take a seat. Seating is hard to come by because this place rocks. We came in on a warm day in November and it was hot hot inside- they had fans running but AC was either broken or they don't have it- either way be prepared to takeout if necessary. For the food- hefty portions and super fresh. So so tasty! My husband normally gets a 3 level spice at chicken places and the 3 level here was far more spicy- so brace yourself!! The fries, the sauce, the chicken- all amazing. Highly recommend. We will be back!!
google avatar

Debi W.

Yelp
We ordered the medium because we love hot food, but this was hotter than a normal medium. They are delicious chicken tenders, just know that medium is a normal hot. At least in our experience. But the chicken is tender and crispy even with the heat added. I will come back but probably go mild. The honey is a must and must be ordered at .95 each. The Cole slaw is a nice cooling effect on the mouth. We loved the fries. The tenders are large enough to share. Waffle fries were great. There aren't many seats available and they had quite a few customers there for take-out.
google avatar

Stephanie I.

Yelp
I used to love this place when they opened a few years ago but I have gone less and less because they changed how spicy the food is. The last few times I've ordered from them, they have added sugar to their hot fries and hot box meal. It is such a disappointment that a place that really lived up to its name and had really good HOT chicken and fries decided to add sugar to their food without denoting it on the menu. My hot fries just taste like sugar. I can see more sugar than anything else on them. There is no spice and I ordered it medium, which is usually nice and spicy. It would be great if they created a NO SUGAR option when ordering.

Yelp
Hubby and I were driving through Orlando around lunch time. He checked out his bookmarks and saw Chicken Fire, we immediately drove over. The ambiance was casual; order and grab a table type place. It was definitely the right vibe for a hot chicken place. Hubby ordered the munch box, hot. I ordered the hot box, mild. We both thought the chicken was amazing! Juicy, spicy, delicious! Mild was perfect for me, lots of flavor and a little spice. Hot is hubby's go-to so he enjoyed the burn. The soul sauce was creamy, so tasty with the fries as well as the chicken. Thick cut pickles, crispy fries, unique sweet coleslaw. All around a perfect meal. Chicken Fire served up one of the best hot chicken meals we've had outside of Nashville!
google avatar

Emily A.

Yelp
Chicken fire never disappoints. Their food is delicious. I can only do the mild heat because it is spicy. It's Nashville hot style. Their tenders are always flavorful and crispy. The fries are seasoned to perfection. They do not disappoint.

Yelp
Okay y'all this has to be my favorite restaurant yet that I've visited in Orlando. So much so that I'm writing this review as I'm still eating. I just couldn't wait! I placed my order online and walked over to Colonial from Corinne to pick it up, which was very convenient as it was prime lunchtime and starting to get packed. They work quickly though! The place itself is kind of small and it's no secret that it's pretty warm in there. In other words, to go is probably your best bet. The staff member that greeted me was super friendly and welcoming. Typically, you'd order on the kiosks at the counter. I ordered the Slider Box. WOW! These things are huge. I could have probably settled with one and some fries, but they are amazing!! I got meek spice as I'm a bit of a spice wimp, but it was still very flavorful and has a slight kick. I also got a soulful chicken tender (no spice) and it was DELICIOUS, so crispy and juicy. I ordered a side of ranch to try and it's clearly homemade with the most amazing flavor and consistency. I'm now hooked on Chicken Fire and immediately texted my boyfriend to tell him we have to go back ASAP (and you should, too!). Can't wait to try the fries! I'd happily walk an hour again (and then some!) for this place!

Yelp
The food was so good, it was flavorful, the spice was just right. The service was great. Everything was explained to me down to the level of spice.

Yelp
I found out about this place through instagram and when I finally got the chance to try it, it didn't disappoint. Aside from the fact that the chicken and all the other fixings were amazing, the service and the way my family and I were treated is what stood out most to me. Niyah (hopefully that's how you spell her name) was super friendly and uplifting and did an amazing job explaining to us how to order our food and the differences in the spice levels offered for the chicken. If you're ever in Orlando and are a fan of hot chicken this place is a must try.

Yelp
I absolutely loved chicken fire! We came in on a late afternoon and the place was pretty packed (it's not that big). One of the employees behind the counter asked if it was our first time there and kind of went through the menu and suggested what we should try in levels of hotness/enjoyment. For ordering, you order through a kiosk, you enter your # and they call you and/or call out your name. I noticed this place gets a lot of To-go orders and I don't blame them! This place gets super warm! I ordered the mega sliders which comes with 2 so I could share with my boyfriend. To say the least, these were delicious! We got the medium level, and we both agreed we could go higher, but the savory ness and size of these were delicious. The sliders were packed with flavor and honestly one of the best I've had in a while. Will definitely be back, maybe to try the tenders and some fries while I'm at it!

Yelp
Best chicken spot in Orlando!! Flavorful chicken and fries. Customer service is always great. You can do to-go or dine in. Seating is limited so go early.

Yelp
My friend recommended this place to me and it did not disappoint! I got the two tender meal and it was more than enough for two meals- seasoned to perfection with their mild seasoning which was pretty spicy but not too bad, the fries were delicious and I'm not a cole slaw fan but everyone who was with me who got it said it was delicious. The service was amazing and fast and the inside of the restaurant itself is nice too. Will definitely be going back!

Yelp
So I have officially visited all three of Kwame's restaurants and not one disappointment. Loved the chicken, I chose the medium heat and it was perfect not too much and not too little. Fries like all three places are amazing. Sauces are great. Service was great, while you do order from a screen there is still someone there to greet and answer questions. Just like all the other restaurants the artwork is pretty sweet my only complaint would be it was kinda warm in th but at the end of the day who cares as long as the food hits. I'll be back!

Yelp
I was recommended this spot from a friend of mine. I feel like it's a typical chicken spot. Unfortunately I didn't have a great experience here. I got the chicken sandwhich with fries. The chicken was okay I think in my opinion it was overly seasoned same with the fries. Which I think over killed the taste of the actual meal. It's like they just dumped a bunch of seasoning powder all over the food. The service there wasn't too great either, sadly. Not much help and when I visited they had no AC it was very hot in there. I don't even know how the workers were even working with how hot it was in there. Sadly wouldn't go again.

Yelp
I ordered the munch box, I got it hot. Boiii I might as well had gone hot x cause my mouth was on fire! It burned so good. The fries were crispy and well seasoned, the chicken was hot and full of flavor, tender as can be. The coleslaw was a nice crunch and cool factor, topped with a buttery brioche bun, that slider was bang bangin! The soul sauce completes the meal, like mini me completes Dr Evil! My daughter had the big box pictured and she enjoyed it, she went with mild and it was still flavorful and a hint of spice. Service was well organized, very helpful to new customers as they walked you through the process. The ambiance was urban with wall art and table tops. I loved it! Definitely hitting it up again next t time I'm in Orlando!

Yelp
LOCAL REVIEW: I have yet to find a fried chicken place as good as Chicken Fire. Their chicken is crispy, juicy, and their seasoning blend is my favorite. For me, I notice flavors of Cajun and mesquite. Their Buttermilk Coleslaw also is the perfect addition to their spicy chicken. Location-wise, it's located in a grocery store plaza with free parking lot so that's always a plus for me! Sometimes the traffic can be overwhelming on East Colonial, but I don't find it to be a deterrent to make a visit. There is indoor seating with a nice "people watching bar" along the window. I'm not going to knock off a star, but the bathroom is a bit dirty with a wobbly toilet seat, so I'd avoid that if you can help it.

Yelp
We finally made it to this franchise and can cross it off our foods list ! Took some time, but we had a chance to make it out here to try some of their delicious chicken sandwiches. For starters , parking lot is a bit smaller and located on colonial drive next to the i Fresh Super market in the corner. Really loved their logo for the company because of the colors and concept behind the chicken breathing fire. Very nice spot and all staff were super friendly and even helped us pick out the better option. He warned us of all the rankings they had as far as spicy. Because this was our first time he recommended mild to actually enjoy the meal and see how it really tasted before going straight into the spicier and hot challenge. Food was delicious , but we ordered the Box that came with two mega sliders. More on the messier side, but very compacted sandwich. Tasted good and great combination with their sauce and coleslaw. Cost about $20 with the drink , but not too bad for the food you get. Environment was very relaxing, but moderate. Not too crowded , but seems to have a lot more online orders rather than dine ins. Really enjoyed this spot and I would say come check them out because they have a good variety to choose from.

Yelp
Best hot chicken in Orlando!! The girl at the front was so sweet and explained the menu to us. We ended up ordering a bigger box that was not on the physical menu - 4 tenders with bread, we asked for no pickles, and sauce. Ordered a side of fries to try as well. Everything was amazing, my new hot chicken spot. Tenders were huge, the bread soaked up all those yummy spices, and the fries were so crispy! We got meak heat which was perfectly spicy but not overpowering. The house sauce was great with a little sweetness, and the ranch tasted homemade. The inside is small so you may have to wait for a table or eat in the car, but we will definitely be back for our hot chicken cravings!
