Chicken Guy! is the kind of place that makes you question everything you thought you knew about fried chicken. It’s crispy, juicy, full of flavor, and somehow doesn’t leave you feeling like you need to lie down in shame afterward. It’s fried chicken with a conscience—and a gym membership. The food? 10/10. Everything tastes fresh, the chicken isn’t greasy, and the sauces? Next level. You’ll be low-key planning your next visit halfway through your first bite. The service? Also 10/10. The staff are genuinely happy to see you—like, did-they-just-smile-with-their-soul? happy. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, whether you’re wrangling toddlers or rolling in solo for a date with their chicken tenders. Cleanliness? Immaculate. This place is so clean it practically sparkles. You could probably eat off the floor (though the tables are right there, so maybe just stick to those). The play area for kids is tidy, and even the bathrooms make you feel like you’re in good hands. And yes—they serve beer and wine, because Chicken Guy! understands that adults deserve joy, too. It’s perfect for families, casual date nights, or just an “I deserve this” kind of meal. We’re regulars now and honestly want to see this place become a local legend. So do yourself a favor: come hungry, bring friends, and prepare to fall in love (with chicken).

This was a fast food place with a restaurant vibe. from the arcades, to connect four to cornhole there were plenty of options to entertain yourself while you waited. Let me just say they have the best fries I’ve tasted…that’s not up for debate either 😂! Their milkshakes (I tried two of them) were amazing and what you see in the photos was just a sample of the strawberry Oreo cheesecake milkshake. The fried pickles were good and the mac n cheese was solid. The fried chicken and the plethora of sauces that came with the chicken were a hit! The Nashville Honey hot is my absolute favorite. I’ve been here twice and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

After going to Chicken Guy in Florida, I was so excited for one to open in Dallas! Now it’s become my new go-to spot for fried chicken sandwiches and tenders. Fries are delicious, the chicken is so damn good and crispy with just enough breading, all the sauces are great, mac and cheese is delicious. The Oreo milkshake I tried was well executed. I hope they continue adding more dipping sauce options just like the Florida location has. Service has been fantastic both times I’ve gone so far. Overall an amazing spot and will continue going back!!

Google
Guys let me tell you the customer service here is above and beyond. The manager came to our table several times asking how was our food everybody as in the employees was extremely happy. The food was amazing. We tried all the dressings and each one of them have their own special flavor, They were really good. @guyfieri this place was blooming they need a bigger location!. We will be coming back for more!!

We were strolling around the area contemplating what to eat and were drawn into Chicken Guy via live entertainment. We put an order in and wow, the food was amazing. Ram and Francisco made sure that we were taken care of and were so welcoming. The chicken tenders were fresh and not greasy like the other chicken huts. One item that blew my mind was the chicken dumplings. I’ve never had a dumpling like this, the flavors were all over the place, in a good way with Asian flare. I could literally eat a hundred of these things followed by the Oreo shake. Y’all really need to check this place out.

Google
This chicken concept isn’t just tasty—it’s downright brilliant. There’s no other spot in town where you can enjoy chicken in such a warm, inviting atmosphere, whether you’re with friends, family, or on a date. The fries, the sauces, and the hot honey chicken sandwich are all unbelievably good. You know the food is special when you find yourself craving it even when you’re not hungry. Speaking of fries, I consider myself a French fry connoisseur, and these are easily in my top three of all time. If you’re into hot chicken and great fries, this place is a must-visit. And if you’re not big on spice, no worries—you can order everything mild. Don’t forget to ask for Soledad—her service is absolutely impeccable.

Google
We just LOVE this place! First timers after hearing rave reviews from a friend and I can see why. Everything was fresh and crispy but not greasy at all. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable and the owner Rom is so passionate about the brand and I can see why. Love is in the details and they’ve nailed it. The sauces are all so different but complement the chicken perfectly, it’s hard to pick a favorite since they’re all delicious. We live in Fort Worth but we’re in Dallas regularly and will definitely come back again and again. Bravo!

Google
Awesome flavors! This isn't your boring chicken, so don't be fooled by the menu. Every bite is packed with flavor. We had the Chicken Guy! Fries and we loaded them up. The fried were crispy and the smoked cheddar sauce added a great punch. Then we tried the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and it didn't disappoint. Two crispy chicken patties with the drizzle of the hot honey sauce was on point. For dessert, we tried the Oreo Strawberry Milkshake and it was perfection. You can really taste the ice cream, soooo good. Between the great service and clean and fun atmosphere, the whole experience was a 10. Will definitely be adding this to our regular rotation!

Yelp
Great quality food and customer service and I really recommend the milkshakes, and I feel welcomed when coming in

Yelp
Just tried Chicken Guy at Preston Hollow Village in Dallas, and I am seriously impressed! From the moment we walked in, the vibes were welcoming, and the team was on point. We were helped by Francisco, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure our food came out quickly and hot. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Another team member even came by shortly after we got our food to check in . that level of service really stood out. Now let's talk food....SO good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I got the chicken skewers with a couple of sauces (Donkey Sauce & Honey Mustard both ), and the chicken sandwich + fries was chef's kiss. They've also have: * Tons of indoor and outdoor seating * A fun play area for kids (family-friendly win!) * Super clean and inviting atmosphere If you haven't checked out Chicken Guy yet, do it! You'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. We definitely are.

Yelp
We stopped by on a Saturday early evening or a family dinner with friends. Possibly one of the best causal family spots in all of Dallas! The staff is super friendly and took amazing care of our family. We got kids meals (tenders) and a 4 piece tender meal. Of course we followed that up with shakes for the kids. The food was great. The service was outstanding. And the ambiance was amazing. Beautiful patio with games for the kids. The spot is kept clean and did I mention how amazing their staff is? Kris, the owner, personally greeted us and made sure we had a good experience. But the best part was his team. They were on top of things and made sure to check on us multiple times during our meal. We met a couple of other family's and it was a perfect patio hang. The kids wandered between the outdoor play area and the arcade games. The food itself was delicious. They've got a simple menu of tenders and sandwiches along with fries and mac and cheese. Highly recommend checking out this spot and don't forget to try all the dipping sauces. The place was so good that my 9 year old wanted to make sure his review made it to this review as well. So here goes. Unedited thoughts from a 9 year old aspiring Yelpie: The food was so delicious, the kids played in the small area with fun outdoor games. Chicken guy had an area where the kids played old 1900s games such as mortal combat, retro golf and NBA basketball games. Chicken guy had some really good stuff for your family to enjoy over all we had a great time there [LOL on the 1900s games. This kid thinks I grew up in the 1900s]

Yelp
The service was ok. The restaurant is clean. The food tasted awful! No seasoned or taste. The drink options are also not good. The dipping sauce was not good. I love fries and even the fried were awful not fresh. I would never recommend this place or return. The price is also ridiculous for bland food.

Yelp
The chicken sandwich is good, I liked the sauce varieties it just wasn't spicy enough. This place is overpriced though but the shake was worth it.

Yelp
We've eaten here twice with our families when visiting and both times the food and customer service hasn't disappointed! I love the location. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
PERFECT place for a quick meal! We stopped in to check it about before bouldering last week and were only planning on grabbing some tenders and 2 sauces to go but ended up sitting down and trying 8 sauces instead! I assumed the tenders would be good- but I was shocked by how unmatched these things are. Everything from the breading to the quality of the chicken itself- phenomenal. Even the fries were standout because they were seasoned to perfection. I wish I could give a sauce recommendation but we genuinely could not pick even a favorite because they were all THAT good. I love ranch and I love Dill, and their ranch is very dill-forward so I kept going back to that. But the Honey Mustard, Barbecue, and Special Sauce were all top picks for me as well. The service here is unmatched. We were indecisive and Hector, the cashier, walked us through the most popular items and sauces. He gave recommendations, asked us about our spice tolerances, and what kind of flavor profiles we liked. Once ordered, one of the owners came by (Chris) and asked us about our meal and brought us more sauces to try. He couldn't have been nicer and told us some history on the place and taught us a bit on how they got started! For a fast-casual type restaurant, this place has better decorum than most dine-in restaurants! If I lived in Dallas I would go here wayyyy too often.

Yelp
Let's start with the chicken. I believe Guy utilized his foodie experiences and master culinary skillet to come up with some VERY delicious chicken. I really don't know how to explain what the breading is like but this chicken impressed us! The seasoning on the French fries were a hit for my husband but I thought they were on the sweeter side, perhaps a bit like fries from Bojangles? Fresh and hot nonetheless. Lastly, I went ahead and tried their limited time shake flavor, a strawberry shake with Oreos, and it just didn't do it for me. Full stars provided for the unique menu selections, varied sauce selections, clean space, and friendly staff. The employee's visor in the picture include the blonde hair, which mimics Guy Fieri! I love it! Will be back soon.

Yelp
Amazing food and even better service! The staff was super attentive, offered us sauces that paired perfectly with our sandwiches, and suggested adding spicy tenders, which took it to the next level. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Absolutely Delicious! Must-Try in Dallas! I had an amazing experience at Chicken Guy! in Dallas. From the moment I walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had a fun, upbeat vibe. Now for the food -- WOW. The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You can tell they're made fresh. The real star, though, is the sauce game. So many unique sauces to choose from -- my personal favorites were the Donkey Sauce, Nashville Honey Hot, and Special Sauce #1. I also tried the loaded fries, and they were next level! Flavorful, cheesy, and definitely a must if you're craving comfort food. Portions are generous, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality you get. Whether you're a chicken tender lover or just looking for a fun spot to eat with friends, Chicken Guy! is a win. I'll definitely be back to try more sauces and maybe even the milkshakes next time! @FRANSISCO

Yelp
New place opened a couple months, thought we would try out. It's a welcoming lil place, clean with good counter service. Nice lil patio are for pretty days with an open air dining room. We got the Spicy Chicken tenders, they were bigger than expected, probably a lil too spicy for me, but hubby loved! I loved all the sauces that we got, Fries nice and crispy!
google avatar

Yelp
Decided to stop in on a whim. It wasn't busy so ordering and seating was fast. Weather was nice so we sat outside. They have bench seating inside and out. Very open, nice and clean areas with 3 video games in the corner. Francisco took our order at the counter and also served us. He's the best, super funny and explained the menu and then brought us our food. Spicy chicken was juicy and delicious. It has a panko breading so a little different from what usual tenders are but still good. Sides of mac n cheese and fries were spot on and the sauces were really good too. Truffle parm was my fav. They also have beer and wine.

Yelp
Best crispy chicken sandwich in town. Fresh, savory and have to try the ranch with a kick of dill--delicious

Yelp
Service Service Service! Seriously, the service was amazing, with probably the most attentive staff I have encountered, including at 5-star fancy places! At every point of our meal, we were asked if we were OK and what we thought of everything. There was a non-patronizing comfort to it, as they were sincere and I have no doubt done whatever they could have to make our experience better had we had a complaint, but no complaints here! The food was really good and I came in with high expectations. Obviously they met those expectations. Personally I thought the grilled chicken was better than the fried, but that is just preference. The tenders were just that, tender, no fat, and delicious. The Chocolate shake was good, but I would have preferred it not have Chocolate Chips in it. The Sauces were good too (we had the Nashville Hot, the Buffalo, and Brown Sugar Barbecue. Honestly though, the Sauces are served cold and the temperature against my hot fresh Chicken was distracting. With so many Sauces, also, it would have been nice if one would have been Gravy. Hard to beat gravy on a Chicken Tender! Anyway, overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu. Welcome to Dallas Guy! Please take my gravy suggestion seriously!

Yelp
The food was very good. Everyone there was friendly. We will be coming back! *Buffalo Ranch chicken sandwich *Limited time - chili ranch sandwich *Limited time - fried chicken dumplings *Fries

Yelp
This place is so good! Such a fun spot to have a couple beers and a good chicken sandwich. There salads and Mac n cheese is equally good. Definitely a spot to check out. They recently hadded chicken dumplings and they are soooo good! A must try!

Yelp
This restaurant is the perfect place to hang out with your friends, grab some beers, and enjoy the good vibes! I totally recommend it! #Restaurant #Friends #Beers #Vibes #Chill

Yelp
I mean, where to begin? Flavors galore. Vibes are immaculate. TVs with dog competitions? Couldn't ask for more. This Guy knows what he's doin'.

Yelp
Good Chicken! WAY BETTER than Caine's. The sauces are very good, yet you don't NEED the sauce for the chicken.! Limited menu to chicken. That is not a negative, just a fact of the restaurant. The Sweet BBQ sandwich needs more bbq sauce. Still pairs well with other sauces. It's worth another visit. Location could be better. Not the easiest to get into. The staff is great and stands out All-in-all, this is a good place to go! I plan to be back to try the banana pudding shake! It was raining when I visited, so not a large crowd during lunch.
google avatar

Tammye I.

Yelp
I went to this restaurant yesterday, 04/30/2025. There was maybe one other table of people when I got there. The menu is very limited with chicken sandwiches, chicken salads, fries, fried pickle, and macaroni n cheese. When I start my order the cashier told me they were out of french fries and pickles. Iut of five things they were out of three. I asked for chips since I saw that with one of the meals. Guess what kind of chips? A small bag like you would put in a kid's school lunch. Totally unacceptable. Guy, you're on like three tv shows and you can't make sure your restaurants are stocked? Not good. Tammye

Ashlyn L.

Yelp
Great service and food was pretty good! Got the Nashville hot chicken sandwhich and my wife got the tenders. Loved all the sauce options and a fun vibe with live music occasionally!
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
The food was delicious! Tenders were super crispy and very unique breading texture or at least different than any tenders I've had. Still juicy and tender on the inside. I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese. As many have already said their sauce selection is top tier and lots of variety too! Beyond how delicious the food was I have to mention the exceptional service! The gentleman taking my order walked me through their menu options in detail and gave me the scoop on his fave sauces and sides. They continued to check in on me and see if I was enjoying the meal or needed anything. Overall a really great experience and can't wait to return. It's a casual spot with a cute patio. When I went they had the big garage style window open to the patio so there was a nice breeze inside.

Yelp
Interesting place. I ordered chicken tenders. All the tenders looked the same size and very ample. They looked like a chicken breast cut in half on the long side. Hard to tell what the batter was, but they were nice and crunchy. They had a good variety of dipping sauces and you got 2 with the tenders. I got the Nashville Hot Honey and Sweet and Sour. The Hot Honey was perfect for someone who likes a little heat but doesn't want something that builds into a mouth burner. The fries were cut the same size and were all cooked very well. There was something on them that gave them a great flavor and slight crunch. The manager was very friendly and came to our table and explained the sauces. Other employees were friendly and helpful also. The price was a bit high for me for lunch, but that's probably not all that uncommon nowadays. Will come back anyway to try some other things.

Sandra Z.

Yelp
Meh. The "tenders" are no better than the frozen pressed chicken ones you find at the grocery store. The spicy tenders are pretty spicy. The emphasis seems to be on the sauces. They are nothing special. Fries were just ok. Food was served hot. Won't be going back. Raising Cains is better.

Meghan M.

Yelp
Love this spot! Delicious sauces, dependable service, friendly staff! Don't underestimate the salad fr, it's so good.

Yelp
Had a fantastic time checking out the 1st guy fieri establishment here in Texas! The food is absolutely top notch, the tenders are brined overnight and then hand breaded before frying and you can tell it makes all the difference in the world and this is coming from someone who's not a big chicken tenders guy! The chicken doesn't feel greasy which is a huge plus because who wants that? The sandwich selection suits every palette and starts with an incredibly fresh brioche bun and then depending on what you are in the mood for you can either keep it pretty simple with some veggies or go all in with Mac n cheese, either way you are in good hands with the excellent bread and tender inside. Place is also super family friendly, the kids have space to play around (shoutout to the OG arcade games in the back!) while the parents sip on a cold pint ! The home made sauces are great but really the tenders all stand out on their own which is a huge compliment to the base product! Also my Kiddo loved the hand spun mint shake on a weirdly warm February? Keep up the great work team!
google avatar

Dannielle A.

Yelp
First time going as an early birthday present and I can't wait to go again bringing my kids. Homemade, in house sauces. Seasoned breading that's not too crispy on the chicken which is juicy inside, seasons fries not just salted, and free shake sample near the end of the visit. Fransisco went above and beyond making sure we not only were enjoying the food, and that we had everything we needed, he even cleared our table of our baskets when we were done for us. We even got sauces to try for next time. There were games outside, music playing in the background, old school arcade games like Mortal Kombat.

Yelp
I've been waiting for this to open for so long and it's finally here!!! The best chicken strips, hands down! We used to go all the time in Florida and now it's finally in Texas. The staff are so nice. And the food is amazing! The shop is cute themed, too. Highly recommend.

Anna S.

Yelp
Firstly, the owner was so nice and catered to helping us decide what to eat and gave us a lot of recommendations. Most importantly, the food was AMAZING! The seasoning on the chicken tenders was my favorite and they were not greasy like Canes. I highly recommend this restaurant

Debbie Malone ..

Yelp
Not impressed....chicken was stringy and the fried pickles were non edible. I was hopeful but it seriously missed the mark for me.

Ezequiel ..

Yelp
The food was great, and the staff was phenomenal! Very friendly and made me feel right at home. They've only been open a week and it looks like they got things under control. Has a great atmosphere with some patio seating outside for the cooler months. I would definitely come back !

LuAnn K.

Yelp
First visit! Tenders, fries, slaw and 4 sauces. Everything was super tasty...crispy/juicy chicken, flavorful fries, and best Honey Mustard ever! The owner/manager was super friendly and attentive and the service was super quick. I'm a super fan!
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
The chicken has great breading, the spicy tenders have a great flavor. I enjoyed the fried and mac as well. Some sauces are great, some I could go without but I love the variety of options.

Yelp
Food was so amazing and filling!! The customer service is great and the employees are very knowledgeable of the menu, especially Rahm. Rahm was the best help!! We drove from Houston for this !!

Yelp
These reviews are 100% fakeTRUST ME, & I'm 99% certain this restaurant is not founded by celebrity chef Guy Fieri. Edit: (I originally gave them 2 stars for good service,. However, after re-reading all these reviews, & eating the food, I got to drop my review down to 1 star) Cons: all these reviews are FAKE, I'm telling you. Don't let the reviewers "yelp verified elite '25" fool you. The chicken was REALLY bad. It had a grocery store ready-made/ pre-frozen type taste. Honestly reminded me of school lunch back in the day. I've honestly made better chicken tenders with my air fryer from Costco. The fried coating was made of tiny bread crumbs similar to cheap chicken nuggets. The sauces were mid at best. But the sauces are also what made the chicken bearable. Chicken was dry too. I don't know. I was honestly not expecting it to taste like that being that the restaurant was supposedly "endorsed" by a celebrity chef, and had "good reviews." Honestly the physical location, and actual design of the restaurant did not make sense for such low quality chicken. Like I might've expected this type of food from a hole in the wall gas station. Pros: I'll give props where it's due, great service! They were all very friendly, and went out their way to explain the menu/ cater to your wants. It gave a family owned restaurant type of hospitality/ vibe. - outdoor dining area was really cool, indoors was clean, seating/ambiance was really cool. IMO go to Dave's hot chicken/ Hattie b's. Honestly if the those are far away from you, chic-fil-a / canes will serve you better. Message to restaurant: Please don't scam people by posting fake reviews. Invest in quality food instead of investing in fake reviewers. It's better ROI. You can only fool people once.

Steve H.

Yelp
Killer spot. Food was great with a cool vibe. Super friendly staff! Will definitely go again!!!

Yelp
If Chicken Guy at Disney Springs is your favorite, you'll want to visit the Preston Hollow location in Dallas, Texas. The tenders were worth the 55-minute trip, and Francisco's excellent service made the experience even more memorable.

Max M.

Yelp
This place SLAPS! First off, definitely get the fried chicken dumplings and a banana shake. The dumplings were a 10/10, so frickin good. I did not expect them to be as delicious as they were, but seriously, do not skip on the dumplings. All their sauces are also fuego and a couple are right up there with canes and chick fil a sauce for me. The sandwiches are all unique and it looks like all the flavor combinations are done really well (I've tried 2 different sammiches so far and they were great). The staff were super friendly and brought my food out pretty quick, it's a nice place with a good ambiance, and the restaurant (and bathrooms) were immaculately clean. There are also some old school arcade machines there which is definitely a fun touch. Overall, great spot to get a quick bite, have a casual business lunch, grab a beer with friends, or whatever floats your boat. Will definitely go again.

Nadine J.

Yelp
Amazing chicken and sauces! Staff is incredible, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Ram got us to come in for samples and we could not leave without grabbing to-go for our families to experience the clean and delicious chicken.

Greg T.

Yelp
This opened a block form my house and I am sooooo happy. The chicken is excellent - light breading, crunchy, juicy inside. The spicy tenders are sassy. The regular tenders as so much better than any others in town. The SAUCES rule. I ordered every single sauce to try them all out and they were all outstanding. Parmesan, BBQ, Hot Honey were my favorites - until next time. Fries were seasoned beautifully and fantastic. Just wish I could get a frequent eater punch card. Pricing was excellent - makes me want to NOT give up meat for lent.

Blake H.

Yelp
Great service, Better chicken than Caines and better sauces too. Definitely try the ranch

Margaret M.

Yelp
I think I have to agree with the guy who said the 5 star reviews have to be fake. We recently went and should have known something was wrong when there was only one other table there and they were all taking selfies. Service was decent, but the guy at the register was so intent on comboing everything that he messed up my husband's order. We tried several things and everything was very bland. We even asked to try different sauces to see if that would help. It didn't. There are other things on the menu that we would have liked to try, but won't waste our money when there are better chicken places around.
google avatar

Nathan H.

Yelp
Skin of the chicken is not that crispy and needs work. The tenders appear cut from a breast and are not tenderloins. I would continue goin' to Mike's. The service was top notch I will say but the food doesn't hit. The fries are restaurant depot fries and not hand-cut and nothing special. I was underwhelmed and was thinking it would be out of the park but no, I'm not even sure it's as good as Cane's

Terri P.

Yelp
Went for the first time for lunch on Tuesday, 3/4/25, with two friends, also newcomers. Our waiter, Francisco, was extremely helpful and super-friendly! He explained the menu options, and even brought us our food and soft drinks, even though they are self-serve. Francisco was great! I ordered Guy's Original Chicken tenders (3 to an order), with choice of two sauces - all were were delicious. Will be back! Terri

Wesley H.

Yelp
It wasn't very good chicken. Fries are good. I just want to bring down that 4.5 star rating to something more reasonable. Let's be realistic guys. 4.5 stars is crazy and misleading.

Assad Y.

Yelp
For a "Nashville Hot Chicken" restaurant owned by a world-famous chef, you would think that this place would be great, it was not. This place was a huge let down. The chicken was comparable to the frozen chicken tenders from the grocery, and not the good ones. The breading was terrible, and the chicken was not good. I have to say that Guy is using his name and his name only for this one. Complete let down. On the plus side, the service was really good. Everyone was very friendly and wanted you to understand the menu. I will not be going back, nor will I suggest this to anyone. Also, I hate when you read reviews, and they have these outlandishly great reviews, then when you try the food, you are pretty much speechless. (Not in a good way!). I feel like I live in the twilight zone. Sorry but the food is not good, and the prices are high for what you get.

Erin K.

Yelp
Incredible food, even better service. Can't say enough good things. The bay doors and outside patio are also lovely. Love this place!!

Sneezyshoppe R.

Yelp
Let me start off with, WOW! the service from the start to the food and the sauces. this place definitely takes chicken and sauces to the next level! I had their original tenders and 1 hot tender, which was the perfect amount of spice that I could still taste my chicken. Employees even offered me a sample of a milk shake towards the end of my meal. I'll be back and will continue to spread to others.

Yelp
Food was great everything is based on tenders, two to a sandwich and that makes for a good sized sandwich. The milkshakes were over the top rich. Fried pickles as a side were different and good. Fries were seasoned and delicious.
