Even after reading the negative reviews, we wanted to give this place a shot. Maybe it was the time of day (we were in at 9 pm), maybe they've improved since the negative reviews, or maybe it was a stroke of luck, but my personal experience was good. If you're expecting quality chicken, well-seasoned fries, and clever sauce names- you're going to get exactly what you expect. They're pretty stingy with the sauces, regardless of what you've spent, so be sure you know which you want to try. Just as everyone else has said, it is a bit pricey, even for an airport, but I don't think you can take stars away for that. Prices are listed on the boards in plain view before you even order (We paid $98.47 for 4 full meals. They filled us up plenty before our 10-hour flight.). The staff was fast and seating was plentiful. The food was freshly made, the cheese was melted well, buns were toasted to perfection. My tenders weren't overly greasy, they weren't overcooked and the fries were fantastic. Will likely be returning.

Sandra Martinez

Google
Got the 3 piece meal and I regretted it as soon as I took everything out. The fries were below mid and the tenders were horrible. Yes, they were spicy but no flavor whatsoever. The excess dust clumps up and stains EVERYTHING. Never again.

Jon P.

Google
As expected from a Guy Fieri establishment, the food at Chicken Guy! inside the West Gates at Tom Bradley International (LAX) was flavorful and well-seasoned. However, the insane prices make it hard to justify eating here. It’s still just fast food, yet the cost is way beyond reasonable, even for an airport. If you’re willing to splurge for a quick bite, the food won’t disappoint—but be prepared for some serious sticker shock.

Gavin

Google
The high price for airport food was to be expected, so this rating is solely on the food itself. I had the OG Chicken Sandwich: good texture and flavor. It was a little dry and could have used some more of that special sauce. Overall good. Fries: were nothing spectacular but good nonetheless. I ordered the ranch and donkey sauce which were good as well. Triple Double Mint: excellent milkshake - enough said. Pretty good overall!

Google
LAX Airport Chicken Guy! Is located at Gate 201- 225. After passed the security check point 8 mins walk will have delicious famous chicken tenders and no.1 milk shake from Chicken Guy! Chicken Guy! also receive cash or bank card. I selected paid cash.

Kendrick Khoe

Google
Low quality chicken sandwich and overpriced for what you get. Sandwich is. $14.99 for the OG. +$7.99 to add fries and soda. The wait is painfully long.

Google
The bad reviews of this place are real. Positive reviews are luck or fake... $15 for 3 chicken strips coated in the thickest layer of spicy seasoning... Disgusting and inedible... The fact that Guy Feiri has his face on this place has changed my desire to try his restaurants... Just avoid this place. There is a reason burger king has a line and this place has no customers.

Samuel Price

Google
$25 for a 5 piece chicken tender meal. I wouldn’t mind the price if they served high quality food but this chicken tasted like something an elementary school would serve for lunch. The fry’s also had ALOT of sugar on them.
google avatar

Phil K.

Yelp
4-piece hot tender. Food quality was good. Service is what you'd expect from a crew of minimum wage staff. Price was high, but expected at an airport.
google avatar

John W.

Yelp
So overpriced and all for really awful food. I didn't know this was a Guy Fieri joint or I would have stayed away. Burger King would be a better choice, not that their prices are any better. Accidentally went to "Flavortown" ladies and gentlemen. I paid dearly Staff was great though.
google avatar

Ben S.

Yelp
Not bad for airport food. Spicy chicken strips and fries and they have some section of sauces too. It was either this or Burger King and I have not tried chicken guy so gave it a shot. Juicy flavorful chicken for me, fries were ok but not great. I would try this again as they have a selection of sauces that looked great. I did hot honey and donkey sauce. The hot honey took the win.
google avatar

Yelp
Ambiance: it's located at the international terminal, and convenient to the gates, right next to a ramen place and a burger place Service: very efficient, you place the order at the beginning of the counter and then grab it near the end of it Food: classic chicken sandwiches and tenders, and they specialize in dipping sauces PEPPERONI CHICKEN PARM SANDWICH - *** Garlic Parmesan sauce, Marinara, pepperoni, Parmesan choose and provolone cheese, average taste HOT TENDERS - *** the guys original tenders dusted in a hot seasoning with heat, choices of two sauces, DONKEY SAUCE and BOURBON BROWN SUGAR BBQ, average Price: expected airport food, not too bad for the quality, expect $15~$20 per person
google avatar

Alfonso V.

Yelp
The B.L.I.T. was just a mediocre sandwhich, nothing more. The chicken tasted like it was bought precoocked and warmed up. The best thing about this sandwhich was their sauce to try and cover up the poor quality of chicken. Especially for the price, this chicken isn't worth it and I would find something better
google avatar

Sandra H.

Yelp
Not bad on food I liked the buffalo Mac and cheese chicken sandwich that was yummy and their fries are good especially with chipotle ranch. But like any airport purchase it can be expensive. Cashier was nice and food came out fast. Plant or seating nearby.
google avatar

Adi A.

Yelp
When you see this place run! Don't even be fooled. The food is overpriced, dry, cold and I'm pretty sure they sold me spoiled Mac and cheese, the cheese literally tasted sour . Waste of money and stomach space. Better go to Burger King which is right next to it.
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
Not sure what all the complaints are about here. The chicken tenders and fries were great. Super crispy and juicy on the inside. Fries have nice seasoning. And they give you a ton of sauce options. In terms of price, it's hard to complain when everything else is expensive at the airport, should be expected. At least it's better quality than next door Burger King.
google avatar

Laarni C.

Yelp
Picked up a salad & some fries from Chicken Guy and was pleasantly surprised at the serving size! This location at the Tom Brady International airport was hopping for late dinner. The service was prompt and friendly too! Good alternative for a quick bite!
google avatar

Diana H.

Yelp
Not bad for a quick bite, the tenders are our go to. You get 2 sauce choices. The special sauce is really good, and my second choice would be the Parmesan garlic. Nothing special though. The service is pretty fast, and they have a dining area to the side.
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
Star for the service! The service was great but the pricing...steep for some 3 chicken tenders, a burger, fries, and a shake spent nearly $45 on two meals (very basic ones too) expected from airport food but with that money could probably eat somewhere better next time
google avatar

Hannah N.

Yelp
A bit overpriced, but that's what to expect from airport food. The combo was a lot of food (big portion size), but the chicken tenders were a bit overdone. The flavor was good at first, but as I continued, I realized I could see the MSG all over, which I wasn't thrilled about. The fries were delicious. Overall, it's not bad, but it's not my first or second pick if I'm looking for food at the airport.
google avatar

Kristine H.

Yelp
We didn't have many dining options at the terminal we were flying out of at LAX, but we were pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was delicious, and I especially loved the variety of sauces available. The chicken tenders and fries, paired with those sauces, were great as well. Plenty of seating, and the service was quick and convenient. Overall, a solid option for airport dining.

Arnaud B.

Yelp
Over-priced airport food. It' not worth half of what I paid. Beware of being charged 75 cents per sauce. I paid for 6 and I had to return to the busy counter because I only received one.
google avatar

Rob T.

Yelp
Overpriced, undersized. Decent food if it was cheaper. Had Chicken Egg Cheese Sandwich (prob the best value on the menu), Buffalo Mac n Cheese (overpriced), Breakfast Wrap (dry), and the O.G. (which prob means "oh gee...overpriced"). I agree with John W's review that Burger King would have been better value. Cashier was nice so there's that lol.
google avatar

Abigail K.

Yelp
The worst customer service I've ever experienced--hands down. The employee, Yasmine, and her manager were beyond rude when my daughter was given the wrong sauce. Instead of simply correcting it, Yasmine called my 15-year-old daughter names, accused her of lying, and completely embarrassed her in public. The manager just stood by and allowed it. Over a sauce! Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. The food wasn't even worth it, dry and bland, but the way we were treated is what makes this place a HARD NO for me. Avoid at all costs. When I asked an LAX worker for a customer service number, she said she wasn't surprised, because the workers there get a lot of complaints about being rude and unprofessional.
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
I got the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich and it was okay. The chicken was hot but a little dry. Overall the sandwich was a bit dry. The strips weren't juicy and had more of a chicken nugget texture. The sauces were also drizzled on versus coating the chicken.
google avatar

Linda C.

Yelp
Some staff members are not very helpful (i.e., wouldn't give me a complimentary sauce for my sandwich, saying they cost $1 each) despite the fact I dropped nearly $20 on a so-so sandwich. Two chicken tenders (fried, not grilled like I asked) presented as buffalo and macaroni and cheese. Novel, I guess. It's pricey and the servings aren't huge, but they have a captive audience in the folks waiting for flights from LAX.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Had time before my flight departed and between the Satouka ramen, Burger King and Chicken Guy closest to my gate, I went with Guy! These are fast casual options but food was good and freshly made. The menu has a small font so you may need to get to the counter in order to read it. The chicken strips are a good size and the Southwestern Sandwich was big with a nice mix of toppings. Check out the food pics!

Liam C.

Yelp
Maybe I'm crazy but the chicken here was really good?! The tenders were super crispy and juicy, and the sauces were nice too. Way better than Chick fil a, Burger King, etc... only knock against it is the price, but that's airport food for ya.
google avatar

Les M.

Yelp
Worst chicken sandwich ever!! With rude employees! I will never eat here again for $20 just for the sandwich. I rather get the chicken sandwich at McDonald that taste so much better and for less than $4 bucks. Don't go here
google avatar

Tippy P.

Yelp
We ordered the chicken tender meal, tenders were big - almost the size of my palm and seasoned. There was only 1 person ahead of us so I had to review the sauces they offered asap. This fast food restaurant is at the international Airport at LAX, in the little food court area. Price is more than the burger King next door. I think I spent $28 on 5 piece tender meal? Everything is expensive at the airport to be honest. Sauces my daughter chose were ok, secret sauce and spicy mayo.
google avatar

Reed S.

Yelp
I ate here before a flight and can't wait to have it again! The fries were seasoned just right and I had a LTO called the pepperoni chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was SO GOOD!! My kid had the OG chicken sandwich and I snuck a bite. It's great too. If you're in the airport and are looking for a good meal, stop by! You can sit right by the pickup area after they call your number.
google avatar

Bryan C.

Yelp
In comparison to other nearby food options in Frontier's LAX terminal, I feel as this one may be a hidden gem. The crispiness of the coating for the tenders here are comparable to the name-brand chicken stores outside. The fried pickles I would say are above-average compared to the places I've had outside, and the ranch is also solid. Overall, much better than I would expect at an airplane terminal.
google avatar

Joe F.

Yelp
I remember the first time I overseasoned something when I was a kid. It was an important lesson. I basically took every spice we had in our spice rack and dumped it onto some French fries. I'll never forget the taste of it. It's exactly what the tenders here tasted like. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or the cap fell off while they were seasoning them, but I lifted the box at one point and seasoning poured out of the bottom of the box like sand falling in an hourglass. As I was eating them I was staring at a giant billboard with Guy Fieri that said flavortown. The tenders definitely had a lot of flavor. Unfortunately that flavor was shit. I couldn't get through half of them and they cost $20. I'm at the airport so I expect things to be a little bit more expensive, but god those were gross. I had to brush my teeth afterwards to get the taste out of my mouth. Hours later and I had gnarly heartburn. The employees looked as happy to be there as I was at LAX at 6am. Don't blame them for that. LAX is one of the worst places on earth, seems almost fitting to have food this bad too.

Yelp
After a winding ride in the bus from Terminal 1 to part B, I find myself on the escalator which brought me up to Gate 201. As I was coming up the escalator, I was wondering what fine establishments would be awaiting to fulfill my hunger. I saw Burger King and right next to it was Chicken guy! Yes the one founded by celebrity chef Guy Fieri. My expectations were not too high as this is the airport, and was greeted by a cashier who told me he doesn't eat here; after I asked him what he recommended. I should have took that recommendation. The food was very mediocre at best. Small portions and bullshit prices. If you read this review save yourself the disappointment and go to Burger King. You will get almost identical quality, bigger portion and cheaper price. This comes from a guy who hasn't ate at Burger King since before the pandemic. Even on those drunk nights that there are no other options. This place could improve by serving better quality chicken. Bigger portioning and happier staff.

Yelp
I rarely eat the airport but we were en route to a 5 hour flight and meal option would've sucked on the airplane. Grabbed a quick bite after searching yelp before our flight and glad we came here. I didn't want anything but a strawberry shake. They ran out of strawberry and offered the apple cinnamon or chocolate. Apple cinnamon for a shake sounds utterly disgusting so I opted for what I know and glad I did. Bf ordered a chicken Sammy combo and the cashier automatically subbed out the drink for my shake which worked out perfectly because he wanted to get water instead of soda. While waiting for our order the bf went to get waters for us nearby. The fries were perfectly seasoned and hot (temperature wise) which was great. we ordered it with ranch and it was delicious and flavorful, not watered down. Would def come back if I need to have a meal at LAX. Seating nearby was comfortable and convenient also.

Yelp
I had just stepped off the plane and wandered into a small food court when I noticed a Chicken Guy! outlet. I had other plans for food but I can't say no to Guy Fieri! I got three chicken tenders and the requisite Donkey Sauce and also the Brown Sugar BBQ Flavor. The food was ready a few minutes later and was piping hot. These are some seriously good tenders. They've got a good crunch and the seasoning only enhances the experience. It's not too aggressive and bursting with flavor. And I'd tried Donkey Sauce before, of course, and it was as delicious as ever, and I really enjoyed the BBQ sauce too. I'd buy a bottle of that stuff if I could. Thanks, Guy, for getting my LA trip off to a tasty start.

B B.

Yelp
I was surprised by Chicken Guy. Chicken stripes have a barbeque salt/seasoning on it. Wasn't try or rubbery, was quite tasty. Coleslaw was good, my wife even enjoyed her salad. Thank you Chicken Guy for a very nice lunch. We'll be back.
google avatar

Cedric E.

Yelp
Yeah y'all SUCK!!! Hella unorganized and unmotivated. I can tolerate an unmotivated worker but being unorganized? HELL NO. It definitely was on me that I didn't check the receipt properly but either way you fools need to check everything too.
google avatar

Sabastian K.

Yelp
There not many gluten-free options at the airport so this is a winner for me. I enjoyed my burger.
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
Good chicken tenders for the price. We are in the airport after all. Our favorite was probably their loaded Mac and cheese. Cut chicken tenders with bacon and green onions sure made it worth while! There is an option to change fries to the Mac and cheese when ordering the combo. We opted out and ordered it as a side to also give us a chance to try their fries. They also have many dipping sauces to choose room. We went with the buttermilk ranch and garlic Parmesan. Definitely recommend their ranch!! Over all good food and service is okay as it is pretty busy since it was right next to an escalator right after a terminal.
google avatar

Kelly R.

Yelp
Hubby and I grabbed a bite before our flight (not trying to be cute :-)). We split a 5 piece meal and both absolutely loved it! The chicken was excellent quality and came out piping hot. And these are nice sized tenders. Sauces are amazing! We tried a few snd the donkey sauce was our fave. Kind of like a spicy tartar sauce. We subbed coleslaw for the fries and it was quite tasty as well. Staff were super friendly too. Our tummies were nice and full before take off with a solid meal.
google avatar

Jonathan A.

Yelp
What a great food option in the 200 section of LAX Tom Bradley Airport. Love the selection of sauces, I personally enjoyed the avocado lime sauce as it went really well with the chicken strips. Chicken strips were crunchy and hot with good flavor. I also ordered the side of loaded Mac and cheese with chicken and green onions. The Mac and cheese was delicious and could've been a main dish with how large it was. Ordering was quick and easy and I made it to my gate with just the 10 minute detour. Would definitely stop here again!

Yelp
May 31 at 9:30 am. That is when my wife and I had our first experience with Chicken Guy! We simply wanted a breakfast sandwich and orange juice before jumping onto our flight. We could have chosen Burger King which is literally next to Chicken Guy, but we thought, it's Guy Fieri's name and while the Burger King breakfast is not bad, it wouldn't take much to do it better... We couldn't be more wrong. We're honestly not sure which was worse: the completely apethetic service or the flavorless sandwich made of 90% burger bun, and 10% unrecognizable egg, sausage, and cheese. And if you try to make it somewhat edible with hot sauce or "special sauce", the annoyed employee will tell you "that'll be an extra charge." So, in short, it's painfully clear that Guy Fieri will put his name on ANYTHING without any personal standards. Can't believe we're saying this, choose Burger King!

Ana H.

Yelp
The best part of my $28 meal was the ranch. I should have just gone with the nuggets at Burger King. The mac and cheese was bland but gross at the same time. What a disappointment.

Lynn N.

Yelp
I tried the B.L.A.T. sandwich, and it was so delicious that I completely forgot to snap a photo! The sandwich is massive and even comes with *two* crispy chicken patties. At $17, it's a bit pricey, but considering it's LAX, that's to be expected. If you're hungry, definitely check out Chicken Guy! It's located at the top of the escalator in the new section of the airport.
google avatar

Jeanine M.

Yelp
Shout out to Drake and Diana. They were both super friendly and attentive. It was my first time trying this place out and they made some great suggestions. Food was nice and hot and satisfied my hunger. Would definitely purchase a meal here again next time I fly out of LAX! Please recognize Drake and Diana for their customer service that exceeded all my expectations.

Skyler C.

Yelp
They charge so much, even for airport food, and the guy was so rude when we asked for extra sauce, they wouldn't give it to us and were acting very dry, don't go here the food wasn't even worth how much we paid...
google avatar

Laura W.

Yelp
For a LAX establishment, 5 stars! We had the Chicken fingers and side. It was crispy and tender and delicious. No wonder they do an excellent airport business! There are plenty of seats for enjoying the food and excellent recycling opportunities. Each order is cooked to perfection, and there is a short wait. It could take up to 5-10 min. So keep that in mind. It's worth it!

Robert D.

Yelp
I thought I'd never see the day someone would think I'd order a chicken sandwich without a chicken! Lmao! What an amazing day to be alive! Maybe if the girls who worked there would spend more time paying attention to their patrons than conversating about their bad dates they had the night before! When I walked back from my gate to explain they got my order wrong, they were adamant they didn't make any mistake on a chicken bun without a chicken! Save your money and pay attention to the one star reviews so you're not walking 1 mile gates without a chicken! Or maybe teach your employees something called customer service? Maybe? God bless you all regardless and may the next customer receive a chicken! Love, A chicken lover
google avatar

Jay T.

Yelp
I got the 3 tenders meal for $17. Probably the worst tenders I've ever eaten. Tastes like microwaveable/frozen chicken tenders. I was expecting big pieces but wow they don't even look like tenders. I would recommend y'all to eat at the ramen spot or burger king next to chicken guy. I will never take a chance on this again. Only thing that passed was the sauce.

Jeff T.

Yelp
They have a huge board advertising amazing sauces to choose from, but only a handful of basic ones are actually available. The sauce reduction has been pushed across all Chicken Guy locations but it's pretty bad to advertise sauce variety as you stand in line only to not have them. It's not that difficult to put "unavailable" signs up so my guess is this is an intentional act to lure in people who don't want to bail after waiting in line.

tom p.

Yelp
I hope this is not a representation of the type of food is that Guy likes poor Service and last night when I went to get a salad? They ran out of lettuce so I ordered macaroni and cheese. They put it in the bag. I took it to go eat in the break room for city employees and the Mac and cheese was cold. I didn't know you guys consider that a dessert and based on what else I read on yelp, it seems that management doesn't care there's no passion no professionalism People are paying good money for food. They should get at least fair quality. I have a feeling that you guys will not change anything based on some of the other reviews I've read so tomorrow morning I will be calling the health department to report temperature in fractions plus, it's not a good thing for the cook to be cleaning stuff and preparing food at the same time at least that's what I thought I saw, but the food was very poor, but you guys already know that I've read some reviews how Sad very very sad

ryder e.

Yelp
Service 0/10 food 2/10 and tried 3 separate times for the correct order. Just wish the workers had a little more effort overall.
google avatar

Drake L.

Yelp
Ordered the Jalapeño popper sandwich. I don't like cream cheese so I asked for it on the side instead. Employee wrote "on one side" so I had a mountain of cream cheese on my sandwich... The half of the sandwich without the cream cheese however, was good.

Chris D.

Yelp
Rude staff. Didn't know how to work online ordering. Gross food. Go to Burger King or the Asian place instead.

Manny G.

Yelp
If I could give it zero and get my money back, I would. Chicken guy makes Kentucky fried chicken look like a 5 star restaurant. What I can't understand is this guy literally has traveled the world, scoping out exceptionally recognized eateries. Does this guy even care or realize the total embarasment he has caused himself and his reputation? I would say this food is literally in a dead heat with stale airplane fare, maybe worse. I don't see how this can be a sustainable business model, and I don't see it being around for much longer. I would rate Chicken Guy as the top 5 worst things I have ever eaten. Notice I didn't call it food.

Giovanni D.

Yelp
Food is great the female workers are great But took to long to receive the food And messed up the order haha But was delicious to eat lol
