The 17 Best Restaurants In Allapattah - Miami - The Infatuation
"There are several locations of this casual Honduran restaurant in Allapattah. You can get baleadas here, but the specialty is pollo frito ceibeño. An order includes about a quarter fried chicken that soaks up an avalanche of toppings: mantequilla, a cabbage salad with diced tomatoes and cilantro, and crumbled cheese. Things can get soggy if you take this to-go, so eat it at one of the formica booths." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
Chicken House #2 - Review - Allapattah - Miami - The Infatuation
"There are several locations of this casual Honduran restaurant in Allapattah. You can get baleadas here, but as the name implies, this spot specializes in pollo frito ceibeño (a.k.a. Honduran fried chicken). An order includes about a quarter fried chicken over a bed of either crispy thin green banana chips or thicker, freshly sliced, fried coins of green banana. The thicker ones do a great job of soaking up the avalanche of toppings that smother the fried bird: a combination of a sweet and savory mayonnaise-based sauce, mantequilla (Honduran sour cream), a cabbage salad with diced tomatoes and cilantro, and crumbled aged cheese. Things can get soggy if you take this to-go, so eat it at the restaurant, where you can order at the counter and grab a seat at one of the formica booths." - Carlos C Olaechea

The food is not bad but their politics are. You order a portion of chicken and they want to give you the piece they have cut up. I believe that if you ar ea paying customer you have the right to choose what your buying. I was told by one of the girls that they couldn't give me the piece I was asking for because that will have them with an extra piece at night that they wont sell 🤔 who says that. If I'm paying and in want a thigh not a wing then that's what you sell you.

Ordered 2 baleadas, besides the fact that I waited more than 20 minutes they weren't even hot and soft as they should be. The tortillas were Krispy and warm as if they were sitting their for a while already and the meat was extremely salty.

The girls at the front are always very welcoming and so such a great job! Always come back because of them. Especially the new one. The food is so amazing and quickly done

Great spot, pollo con tajadas was crazy good, and the dish size was big. Authentic Honduran flavor.

Yelp

Yelp
I definitely do not recommend this Honduran restaurant, the place is quite dirty, when you are served it is lousy, also the employees give you the wrong food that you did not order, there are even tables full of water when you go in the morning, so definitely not recommended at all.

Yelp
This spot is serving yummy Honduran food for a fair price, definitely not the cheapest but very tasty. The ambiance is very basic and underwhelming. The to-go line often has people in line.

Yelp
I came because a friend highly recommend it. He suggested for me to try the "Pollo Ceibeño" (fried chicken with fried green banana slices) And for my wife I ordered the "Carne Asada Hondureña" which is grilled steak served with white rice, refried beans, a piece of avocado and a piece of cheese, with your choice of any side which my wife had the fried green banana slices.
The customer service was a five star and the food I would have to give it a 3.5, I have had better. But I will definitely be coming back to try their Baleadas( honduran flour tortilla with beans and cheese).

Yelp
This a terrible place as a Honduran restaurant you make the order on the phone to go pick it up. They told me 30 minutes and once I get there my food is not ready. What's up with that! I get there and had to wait and additional 30 minutes for my food. This is extremely terrible customer service.
