Chicken Salad Chick

This place was surprisingly satisfying. We went on a late night after my sister told me how great this place was. Chicken salad is a favorite of mine so I was excited to try it out. The food was a bit pricey but it was worth it. I felt satisfied and not disgustingly full from a heavy metal. I tried the spicy chicken salad on a croissant with the potato soup and both were tasty. The service was excellent and the front lady really helped us going through the menu. The atmosphere is very chill and laid back. I totally recommend this place if you are looking for something healthy and delicious.

We always stop at a Chicken Salad Chick in Louisiana during road trips on the way to Mississippi. Happy to know that it's the same quality, freshness, and friendliness here too! Drove about 30-40 mins just for some CSC! Dixie Chick on a croissant with a scoop of pimento cheese can't be beat, I wish I lived closer!

I had very high expectations for this, given all the 5 star reviews, but it was just average. I tried the classic carol, sassy Scotty, jalapeño holly and buffalo barclay. The chicken is a finely shredded chicken, luckily it wasn’t drenched in mayo. But they all lacked flavor. No celery either. Maybe I just got the wrong flavors. About $10 for a croissant sandwich with an extra scoop on the side. Definitely order online during lunch time, the place gets packed.

Our new favorite place. Eaten there 3 times in the last week. Good service! Easy parking. Wide variety of flavors. I love the classic, Olivia's flavor, and today the Sassy. Great flavor and seasoning. Taste is fresh, even the bread is fresh and delicious. The sides are.good, especially the broccoli salad...so sweet and crunchy. And the cookies are also perfect! Mini Market allows you to take some to go for dinner or lunch.

Surprised at how much I liked this place. Barbie-Q (BBQ) chicken salad on a croissant and the Buffalo Barclay chicken salad were both excellent and don't sleep on the sugar cookies! The Loaded Potato & Chicken Florentine Soup, Broccoli salad and Grape salad were all great too!

I love this place. Their chicken salad is hands down the best and I will continue to come back for the consistency and variety. They give you a bunch options and the meals come along with an extra scoop of chicken salad, crackers, a pickle, and a cookie! Well worth it. I wish they stayed open later but I’m satisfied going for lunch every time.

Expensive but the chicken salad and tea are good. Over $30 for two which is crazy but things are expensive. Tried to pay with a $50 bill. They refused saying they don’t take anything larger than a $20 bill. My total was almost $40 and they still refused. Terrible policy especially since it’s so darn expensive.

My wife and I have dined here on several occasions, and the experience has always been top notch. The food and service are impeccable. The staff is friendly, and the food is consistently great. I can’t pay them a high enough compliment.

We've been to this Chicken Salad Chick in Irving several times. The first time we came (years ago) an employee emptied the trash and then didn't wash their hands, so we left without ordering. After a year or two we decided to give this location another try. In general, the service and food have been good and consistent. But yesterday we came in and found two employees cleaning (doesn't sound bad). Both stopped when we walked in (there were no other guests in the restaurant), went behind the counter, and didn't wash their hands. We thought for a second one was about to as he walked to the sink, but he only grabbed a paper towel to wipe the sweat off his head. That was all we needed to see to turn around and leave. We will not be returning to this location.

This chain is pretty decent for what it is. If you like chicken salad, you will be in heaven. If you don't like chicken salad, you will hate this place. They don't have much other than an egg salad option, pimento cheese (gross) or a salad/sandwich with a scoop of chicken salad. It was about $20 for two of us to get a croissant with chicken salad and a side. Drinks are extra. I got the special dill chicken salad flavor, I believe my husband fot the fancy nancy. Both were fine. I would advise against adding the bacon and lettuce, its fine but not worth the extra cost. The mac and cheese was eh as a side, a little tasteless. I would maybe opt for another side like fruit next time. But the cute cookies they gave us with the meal were the perfect finishing touch.

First time here and it was pretty good. The chicken salad I got was cool, couldn't taste all the flavors. I will definitely ask for the croissant to not be toasted, it came out too hard. The pasta salad also wasn't really seasoned. I'll definitely go back but will try something else.

One of the best chicken club sandwiches I have ever had. Staff were helpful with recommending items as it was my first time. My red velvet cake was dry, though. However, when the manager came over to pick up my try, he noticed I only ate a couple of bites and was discarding the rest, he offered a different dessert selection. Which shows their dedication to customer satisfaction.

A good place if you're craving chicken salad! I got the jalapeño holly chicken salad on wheat bread, I wish they gave more chicken salad, seems a little skimpy with their portion. The chicken salad itself tasted great, just the right amount of spice from the jalapeño. Definitely will be back to try other flavors of chicken salad! Service was good! You order at the register and they bring the food out to your table! This location is pretty spacious, plenty of seats inside and out!

A nice healthy option. The service was great and they even offer a taste of anything on the menu. I got a cranberry Kelli on a croissant. A pickle and small cookie comes with your order as well. The sandwiches delicious and you can tell it was made with fresh ingredients. I would definitely return if I am ever back in town.

Drove half an hour yesterday with a girl friend, just to get this for lunch - it's that yum! Love the variety of chicken salads they offer and their pimento cheese is seriously overrated. Cute little place and always crowded. Wish they had more of these around the Metroplex.

Good food at a good price. Also shoutout to Robert at the front, I don't come here often but when I do he is always courteous, professional, and overall outstanding! Really like the laid back ambience of this place. Recently put my wife on to this place, great for spring/summer when you want something light.

The chicken salad is fine but the employees are generally rude. You can be the only customer waiting at the counter to place your order and the 3 employees right in front of you will ignore you until you interrupt their conversation. That is a pretty common complaint from what I hear. On top of that , they have started under filling the ready to go containers by about 30%. So now the $8 container that used to make 2 sandwiches only makes one and a half. Not good.

LOVE the concept and have been seeing this all over tik tok. We opted to split the (combo) of: basil chicken salad as a sandwich with broccoli salad and loaded baked potato soup (Comes with a free mini cookie, but shhhhh, don't tell my husband as he never saw it.) The bread is uniquely toasted (like a toast version I have never encountered), one reviewer said "steam-toasted" so maybe that's a new thing? Great value to have a whole 3 things, (plus the cookie) to easily split. The soup was hot and creamy, the broccoli salad was perfectly crispy (without being raw) and a little salty-sweet. My only quibble (and really just personal preference) is that I prefer my chicken salad to be more in chunks (this was more like a tuna salad consistency). I want to go back to try the pimento cheese BLT, and the green chili soup. Store was very clean.

Loaded Potato Soup - Cmon CSC, are y'all really cutting the portions down this much? Every time I have ever visited my soup has always been full. This is disappointing to come home to. Not happy about this experience today, but I'll grant another chance to win me over again. Strawberry Lemonade always amazing though! Customer service as well. I'll also note that the place was packed.

Cute place and food was good. I found the menu to be overly complicated and pet peeve of peeves, the sandwich was served dry, no mayo despite me asking for mayo. They had mayo packets so crisis averted. They give you 6 or 8 individually wrapped single crackers whip makes sense for take out, but dining in the table is littered with cracker wrappers.

The salad is SOOOO good!!! It's always so fresh and the fact that you can get a double scoop of the chicken salad on top makes it even better!!!

I had a chicken melt, mac n cheese, strawberry lemonade, bbq chips, and a slice of that wonderful cake. Of course I couldn't eat it all! But, I sampled everything and it was all great! The Mac n cheese needed a little salt and pepper for my taste buds though. I highly recommend this place! I'll definitely be returning with co-workers!

Chicken Salad Chick was opening up just when I was moving out of Valley Ranch so I was bummed I didn't get to try it sooner. I was in the area on a Saturday afternoon and saw they were open so figured no time like the present. Even in the time of COVID, I had an awesome experience. The girl working the counter explained the menu, told me I could try samples (I was the only one there so didn't mind taking down my mask) and everything was clean/sanitized and everyone had a mask on. I got one scoop of the jalapeño chicken salad with crackers, broccoli salad and a pickle. I was surprised to find a little cookie in there as well and they are the awesome kind, the soft sugar cake cookies you find at the supermarket deli, yum! But really, everything was delicious. The jalapeño had just enough kick, the broccoli salad was sweet and savory thanks to the bacon on top and the portion size was perfect. I love that they post the calorie count on the menu so you know what you're taking in and always appreciate a lighter/healthier option out there. Now to look for a Chicken Salad Chick on the north side of the metroplex!!

I don't know if anybody's ever been to Chicken Salad Chick, but it is a very girly place to go. And if anybody knows me, coming in at 6'3" and 300 pounds, I'm not very girly looking. But I love this place! I've always loved chicken salad and this place has the best chicken salad ever. Ironically their sandwiches are weak, but just getting the three scoops of chicken salad with the crackers is like heaven! I won't take a star away from the weak sandwich because it still has chicken salad on it!

Food was bland. Egg salad was literally just egg and mayo. No flavor. I wouldn't recommend this unless you like bland egg salad

Wow. What a hidden gem! Quick, clean, and so tasty. Great price point too. All employees were so thoughtful and kind. Loved this spot, will definitely be back!!

Who doesn't love really good chicken salad? If they don't, they need to come here and be converted! This is not your run of the mill chicken salad! They have many variations and I'm still working on which is my favorite! The location is easy to get in and out of except during the busiest of lunch rushes. So adjust your schedule slightly. :) There is plenty of parking then! As you walk up, you'll see the outdoor patio seating with the quaint colorful umbrellas, tables and chairs. The interior is also as bright and cheerful as outside. The menu board is not well placed so look for a menu on top of the half wall along the queue. My last trip was to grab something quick on the way back to the office. I tried real hard not to slobber all over the place as I walked up to the counter. The thought of their chicken salad had my mouth really watering! I opted for the Classic Salad with with Olivia's Old South Chicken Salad (Olivia obviously knew what I liked). I also grabbed one of the buttercream flower cookies (so much for trying to eat better). This time, the salad mix was really fresh (a couple of times, it wasn't as fresh as it should have been). The mix has Frisée, Butter Lettuce, and Radicchio plus some others. It does resemble a Mesclun mix which my tender tummy really loves. The chicken salad scoop of choice is placed upon that wonderful bed of lettuce. The chicken salad is finely chopped, diced and shredded plus mixed with some other magical flavors. Just give me a quart of it and I'd eat nothing but that! OH, they do sell it in larger sizes as you walk up to the counter so you can create your own culinary masterpiece! The to go packaging is absolutely like my mother would have done it. Roomy containers, plenty of dressing, lots of crackers (Lance Wheat Twins) and a delicious dill pickle slice. PLUS a small butter cream cookie! As for drinks, they have the standard Coke offerings plus a really good lemonade and teas. I'm trying to do the lighter thing and enjoy the Lemonade Light. The staff is friendly and helpful! The price is pretty good for the quality and experience! I'm a new regular now, I was converted!

So a few of things: 1. If you prefer a chunky chicken salad, this isn't for you. Their salads are finely chopped (could hardly taste the celery in my "classic carol") 2. For this location, consider ordering ahead during lunch time. I had a bit of a wait for my order. 3. They have grab and go portions available if you just want some chicken salad (but then you don't get your cute little cookie and the crackers!) Definitely love this concept though. Great place for a dainty ladies' lunch date.

This is a great spot for lunch! The menu consists of various items that can be made with the different styles of chicken salad. I really liked the BLT sandwich. Try this place out for something new!

First time at this location since moving to Texas. The customer service is very nice. Not too overbearing and friendly employees. It was a bit packed when I came around lunch time, but the line was quick nonetheless. I usually get the Kickin' Kay Lynne or one of the other spicy options, not really that HOT kind of spicy. Between the sandwich or scoop is probably a personal preference, I tend to go between the two, leaning more towards scoop.

For some odd reason I was craving cucumber with chicken salad. I hadn't tried this place yet so I thought I gave it a shot. They have already made chicken salad in containers so I grabbed a portion for 2-4. Let me tell you. It did not feed 4 people. I ate half by myself. I got the olivias southern style chicken salad. I had to season it when I got home because it was bland. My preference chicken salad with tarragon, red onion, celery, and grapes. They didn't have it. This was doable for when I'm lazy

They still gave what I ordered from my email confirmation. When I went home I found out I accidentally ordered from Arkansas! I don't know why my order went there! But anyway I want to pay for the food I got from Their store. Lillian said don't worry about it. Wow..

Excellent selection of delicious chicken salad and sides. Their egg salad is great as well. Dine in or take home to have a yummy snack in your fridge anytime. Highly recommend and wish we had a location in Dallas.

I was in the mood for a light lunch and the Chicken Salad Chick fit the bill perfectly. On a hot summer day, my sandwich was delicious and refreshing but satisfying. The food was an incredible value for the quality and portion size. This is a fantastic lunch option as a fast casual restaurant. I really enjoyed the decoration and ambiance as I felt like I was visiting an aunt's house in the deep south.

It's a good one for people who like to mix savory and sweet. 4/5 - Jalapeno Holly: The one to pick if you want a kick of spice! It's not super spicy though just FYI for all you spicy lovers. 4/5 - Curry Chicken Salad: This was MY FAVORITE! Chicken salad was always one of my favorite quick lunches to make. I remember a time when I tried to get "creative" with my chicken salads and mixing in curry powder and loved it. Chadney was AMAZING! It was my first time coming to Chicken Salad Chick and she for sure made my experience memorable. She took her time educating me on the different flavors and even recommended a few! I am pleased with my choices and the food was AWESOME! She has great customer service skills and did a great job!

I ordered the "the chick" on a croissant with the fancy Nancy chicken salad with lettuce and tomatoes. My side was the pasta salad and I received a cookie with it. The sandwich was good I felt it needed a little more seasoning so I added salt and pepper on it but overall decent chicken salad. The pasta salad had good seasoning but for me it was a little dry. I think they should add a little Italian dressing on it. My meal came to $8.65 for the sandwich and the side which is not that bad. Definitely worth trying out. The employees were friendly and didn't rush me to order but they also didnt ask if this was my first time and did I have any questions about the menu.

The food was great. Service was amazing. The assistant manager Brian isis so kind and informative. In the texas heat it is perfect for lunch or a business event. Highly recommend.

I visited Chicken salad chick around 12:45 on a Friday. The place had a nice crowd but they quickly got everyone through the line . I got the BLT with my choice of chicken salad I got the fancy Nancy which is chicken,grapes and I believe pecans were the type of nuts that was in it . It came w/ a side I got fresh fruit , a pickle slice and cookie . The sandwich was ok needed salt but the pickle helped w/that I wish they would of spread or preach down the scoop of chicken Salad because it was all in one place. The cookie was so good !!!! I wish. I could have more or even. A bigger one ! The have an app w/ a reward program.

I hate that I always crave it here on Sunday! Sucks that they're closed. Just makes me can't wait for Monday to come around. Literally everything I have tried on their menu is delicious. The workers are very nice and greet you when you walk in.

Very convenient location and really appreciate the allergen labeling on the menu plus the additional allergen list provided on their website. This location in spruce has a patio which is very nice. The only thing I did not like is the texture of their bread. Somehow it feels very processed to me? But overall that is a pretty minor factor. My favorite flavor is the Fancy Nancy.

Chicken salad chick is likely the best place for chicken salad in my opinion in DFW they have a variety of flavors my personal favorite is the sassy chick it's the cheese bacon and the chicken salad really really good and then my second would be the one with the jalapeño peppers in it I think it's called Holly jalapeño or something like that but either way it goes I've been to this particular location several times on my lunch break I just keep forgetting to check and each time to go but really good chicken salad really good customer service at this particular location I can't say anything about the customer service elsewhereBut I am the one in Las Colinas is definitely my tickle spot when I need something quick and good for lunch

I have had multiple flavors of chicken salad and they all have been good. So far I think my favorite has been the lemon basil. The one with Sriracha is my second favorite.

This restaurant is my favorite by far!! The customer service is top notch!! Everyone taking orders is joyful and knowledgeable. The gentleman passing out the orders once they are complete is friendly and always ensures there is quality control making sure you get all items ex. Crackers/to go fork etc. I will definitely be coming back and always look forward to the food. Fresh and flavorful.

First times the charm I really enjoyed everything today. I did the potato tomato bisque and half sandwich.

Was my first visit at the Irving restaurant. The store is in a perfect location, right off the service road of I-635 and Beltline Rd. This is a rapidly growing area of restaurants. It's easy to access and plenty of parking. I am a huge chicken salad fan so I was excited to try it out. Immediately walking in, the decoration is gorgeous, giving the customers a very southern, home style feel. Very cute and vibrate colors. When walking up to the front counter, there are available chicken salads that are packaged and ready to go! The menu options has various selections. So happy the cashier provided free samples of any flavor that you want to try out. I choose the Chicken salad BLT on a croissant which came with a side of choice. The Loaded Baled Potato soup is delicious! Definitely stop by and try out this new restaurant in the Irving / Hurst area!

Since finding this place can't eat here enough. It's a simple concept with simple food done perfectly. Like eating at grandmother's house when I was a kid. And the little dessert cookie tops off the meal.

Adorable atmosphere. 12 different kinds of chicken salad. I really enjoyed the Dixi chick and the sassy Scott! My husband and I split the trio. He got the egg salad that was also really tasty!! I want to try one of the fruity ones next time! I also appreciated that they were on my fitness pal which made staying on track easier!
