Since Chick'nCone is located in a site with a history of failed businesses, we wanted to visit rather sooner than later. Nothing lasts more than a few months here. Our experience wasn't encouraging that history won't repeat itself.

The service was excellent. The cashier guided us through the choices, answering our noob questions graciously. The food came out quickly as well.
.
However, the food wasn't great. The fries were meh, even lightly coated with Cajun seasoning. They were lukewarm and lacking crispness. For the first time in a while, I didn't finish them.
.
The chicken in a waffle cone is a tender cut into roughly inch-long pieces. The coating on the tender somehow both lacks seasoning and drains the tender of chicken flavor. If it weren't for the sauce, there'd be no flavor.
.
I had the Yella BBQ, which was pretty much a honey mustard. My wife had the Kick'nRanch which was mildly kick'n and not Ranch.
.
The cones were nice, almost crunchy but not yet stale. They are sweet, so sweet.
.
My fountain lemonade was great.
.
Of course, there was the "how much do you want to tip" strongarm when completing the purchase. I'll be glad when that is banned.
.
Overall, this was OK but not good, especially considering it was $28+.
