Chick’s is a nice hang spot with the added bonus of really good food! Chick’s has open open layout and when the weather is nice—there are indoor/outdoor seating options! Chick’s has a happy hour that features some of the best items..Shrimp..Wings & Drink Specials. The staff are helpful and make good recommendations. Always an enjoyable time at Chick’s..I wish I lived closer…this would be my regular spot!

I absolutely love dining at this charming Italian restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough! I've been visiting for over a decade, and Gina is incredibly attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that my family and I have a fantastic experience. Whenever we've encountered any issues, she's quick to address them without me even having to ask. It truly feels like my home away from home, much like the famous TV series "Cheers," where everyone knows your name and your favorite drink. I frequently bring my family from out of town, and she always makes us feel welcome and valued. I truly appreciate her thoughtfulness, especially when she takes the time to ask about my father’s health, showing genuine care during a challenging time for us.

What's not to love? If you're a sports fan or casual diner, Chick's is a "spot" to kick back, hang with friends, enjoy a brew, cocktail and a meal. It's laid back, but offering some of the best brews on tap in Philly (also bottled or canned), but there is also a full bar for drinks or cocktails, if thats how you might get down. The food fits the atmosphere, from sandwiches, entrees to salads, your unreasonable palate won't be bored here, quite the contrary. We had a couple of sandwiches, decadently spiced with great portions (the shoestring fries are a thing of their own, crunchy, spiced goodness). Atmosphere is casual with a flair, real glasses and silverware classes up the joint, seating is comfy, and conversations can be had without having to shout. Checking out the Birds, Flyboys, Sixers or Phil's? Seven big screens allow to you to keep tabs on your parlay or favorite team. On the Ave, Washington Avenue that is, its close to all things in the heart of the city. Whether your low key celebrating, chilling, or on a date night (its easy on the wallet for a casual date), Chick's is def worth a visit.

I’m glad we went during happy hour to get a variety of different food to try out. We paid $45 before tip for 5 entrees which isn’t bad. The only problem is, everything was kinda mid. Everything lack flavor, especially the burger & wings. I get it that it’s a bar type of place but the prices for that kinda food is crazy especially if it wasn’t happy hour. Other than the food, we were sat far from the door yet we had nats & flies constantly bothering us, so that was a let down. The staff & customer service was absolutely great, very nice but the food not so, but that’s my opinion.

Jess was great. Awesome service. Apps came out so quickly I was surprised. Butter noodles were surprisingly good.

From the friendly host to the waitress who went above and beyond for us the service was amazing. The ambiance is very laid back and enjoyable. The space looks eclectic and clean. Most importantly the food was delicious, fairly priced and well portioned. We order honey teriyaki wings, truffle fries, bang bang shrimp and chicken pot pie egg rolls. It was all amazing , well balanced flavors and unique. We ordered some draft beers and a blood orange margarita, the margarita was a little weak but nevertheless enjoyable and pretty much everything was a happy hour deal which made it all the more amazing. Overall, I’d recommend this spot and will look to return to.

I devoured the scrumptious South Philly pizza: tomato, sweet fennel sausage, broccoli rabe, long hots, aged provolone, mozzarella. The toppings were generous and I enjoyed the spicy kick. Only thing I would add is more tomato sauce. Easy to order takeout online from their website. Friendly and efficient ♨️👏

Stopped in for a quick bite and ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza. It was fresh, hot and very good. Chick’s has a very nice atmosphere and it feels really comfortable. You should be aware that the restroom is unisex as in it is one restroom open to all at anytime and can be used by more than several people at a time.

The Duck Wong Tongs and Mexican burger slaps!!! On everything I love. NO CAP, on GOD!!!

I was initially drawn to Chick's because of their dog mascot, which made me investigate online to see what they offered. It looked good, and it's a ten minute walk from my house, so my husband and I ventured there for lunch. I've been there several times since, and I've never had a disappointing meal. My go-to every time is their mac and cheese, which I always order in addition to a pizza or sandwich. You can tell when I really like a place when I over-order deliberately so I'll have leftovers the next day. The vibe here is very friendly and relaxed, and I love that I can bring my dog here (though I haven't yet!) It's a good, solid neighborhood joint, and I look forward to my next visit!

The restaurant is pretty big and had chilled vibes. The drinks themselves were pretty good, my favorite was this blackberry mixed drink that came with real fruit. I was disappointed on the french fries as they were so thin and small like they were leftovers from a bigger batch. We also ordered a few desserts which were meh such as the pumpkin cheesecake and the small doughnuts. Overall I wasn't impressed with the food at all. On the bright side, our waiter was nice and friendly.

I came to chick's with a friend during brunch. We did not connect a Sunday in early January, with the Eagles game, and it was nuts. However the staff was super accommodating and made a table for us. Our server, Alexa was super kind and went above and beyond for my friend and I. For example, we were splitting a breakfast burrito and she had the kitchen split one order onto two plates, thus saving us that messy job! The fries were absurdly delicious!! Also the burrito was super flavorful and generously filled. The one portion was plenty for me and a friend to share. We also had drinks which were affordably priced and served cold. For a restaurant during the game, it was not that loud nor crowded feeling despite the number of bodies inside the restaurant. The servers were efficient and everyone looked content chowing down and watching the game. Overall recommend, especially server Alexa!

Walked into chicks the other day and was super impressed with the experience! Seriously found a gem! It was a nice day out so they had the big garage door open which made the place feel big! We sat at the bar and the bartender was super nice and quickly told us happy hour ended in 5 mins so to get our orders in. We got wings (Buffalo sauce) and a cap may IPA. The happy hour deal for the wings was 5 for $8 which isn't amazing for the quantity but the quality was insane! Genuinely these were the best wings I've had in a while. The buttery, flavorful buffalo sauce was probably the tastiest sauce I've ever had! Plus they were cooked perfectly. Sometimes you want a really crispy wing and they over cook it and you get a dried out wing, this WAS NOT the case. These wings so crispy but meaty and it fell right off the bone. They were amazing!

First time having dinner here and it was an enjoyable evening. My friend and I sat at the bar (great recommendation by her). I've had the Chicken Sandwich to-go in the past so I was excited to come in and experience something else and have the bar/dine-in experience. Our bartender, Allara was kind and attentive! She had great recommendations and was frequently checking in. When I arrived, the hosts and other staff I interacted with were very welcoming. The venue was full (including bar) but it still felt low-key, welcoming and just right (that was the vibe we were going for after a long day). I will definitely be back!

Only got takeout - so can't speak on service or ambiance - but even delivered to me quality was there. Egg roll super unique and haven't had before. Elote - lacking cheese, but still cooked well!

PHILADELPHIA: a great spot in South Philly, Chick's Philly is a gastropub with a nice selection of beer, cocktails (the limoncello was fantastic), and a food menu full of sandwiches, pizza, tacos, and more! Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside and outside! Chill, casual, and a good time!

We stopped here for a drink after we had dinner in the area. I never knew this place was here before - but it's a cute sports bar! I had a cider that the friendly bartender helped me pick. They had a lot of large tvs and it seems like a good place to come watch some hoops when march madness starts / conference playoffs happen in the next few weeks. I saw signs that they have bucket deals during sixers games. I'll keep this on my sports bar list...

This is probably one of the BEST kept secrets in the entire city. Generous portions. Excellent service not to mention delicious food. The Garlic parm wings with the melted garlic butter are too good to describe. Not sure if I have words to let you know how good they are and that you should try them. The pizza margherita is the very closest to how my grandmother made the pizza homemade. Trust me, this is a complement. I love this place. Spread the word. Chick's is a hidden gem worth uncovering. I went here randomly for a Saturday brunch and the food was just okay. My omelette had zero flavor, but it was well made. The potatoes were greasy and flavorless, thankfully the ketchup saved it. The place was packed with a DJ blasting music and a full-on drag show and service was still A+. I had a mimosa flight, which was a good amount of champagne, although the juice varieties were lacking. I'll def be giving them another shot.

I LOVE Chicks! Food and service has always been good! Today was no different! After not visiting in maybe over a year, I wasn't aware that they no longer had the salmon BLT on the menu which I specifically came for. After I shared this with the server/ host, he said he would check with the cook to see if it was possible to still get. Well he/ they delivered! And it was NOTHING short of amazing and worth the trip! The salmon was soooo succulent and bacon was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed every bite. I also believe that Chicks has thee BEST fries, hands down! *My only complaint that I have to mention as it did NOT go unnoticed is that I stayed way after paying the bill. I was beating the 95 degree heat and staying hydrated. The place was pretty empty as it was early in the afternoon so I don't believe I was holding up the table. I couldn't help but notice that although I was still sitting there, the said server/ host never came back to replenish my water. Prior to, he came over @ least 5x's to fill it up after every sip. He looked @ my glass several times as it was getting empty and even refilled a glass @ the table across from. On a hot day like this as a courtesy, I would think the water would still be refilled. But what do I know... it was just an observation. Outside of that the service is still 5 stars!

One of my favorite all time places in South Philly. Ordered mom a variety of brunch items and each dish did not disappoint. The flavors were amazing. Thank you Mona for always being so professional and so sweet when I call. Thank you again and hope to see you all soon.

My "go to place" I have never had a bad meal. From Sunday brunch to dinner; the food is fresh, great portions, priced right and the staff is extremely accommodating. And....I love Judy! Always meets you with a welcoming smile, And....the background music - perfect

Went here for lunch on Sunday- absolutely amazing experience! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We had a little bit of everything. We tried the wings, the sandwiches and thr duck wonton and everything was absolutely delicious. The inside is super nice and clean. I definitely recommend!

I'll be honest, we came here as a back up plan after being turned away elsewhere with our dog. When asking if they had outdoor seating, we were informed that the dog could also sit inside, which blew our minds. We obliged, given the hungry mosquitos. Chicks is first and foremost a sports bar (lots of TV's, concrete floors, large beer selection). However, they had a pretty wide selection of food on the menu, and the stuff whizzing by us looked pretty good. We had low expectations that were easily surpassed. The portions were large, and the food came quickly. The homemade fries were really tasty, and our two severs were kind and attentive. One even asked if our dog could have a piece of hamburger and brought like 2/3 of one right out for him (after already getting and refilling his water dish). The food is 4 stars, but the service was 5 definitely! We'll be pack with our pooch.!

Ordered wings for takeout, received the wrong sauce, and they tasted like burnt cooking oil. Very disappointing and unsatisfying. Also got a 3% credit card surcharge, which I don't think was posted anywhere (or at least not posted clearly). At least the 4-pack of beer I bought (for a cool $25) was good. The vibe in this place seems lively, but that's all it has going for it.

Great spot for any occasion. The staff are very friendly and attentive, food is fantastic, atmosphere and energy during games is just as good if not better. My favorites are the wings, duck wonton, burgers or 9th st muscles. You can never go wrong with tge pizza or many other great options they have to offer

Chick's Philly in South Philly is an authentic sports and gastropub experience. A getvariety of amazing apps, burgers and sandwiches to choose. There's a large variety of draft and canned micro brews to wash down the great eats while watching your favorite Philly team win.

Get ready to pay 1/3 more than it says on the menu. If you're okay with that, then you'll probably like the place ok. I'm not good with undisclosed fees added to the bill. We ended up paying 32% more than what it said on the menu. 9% tax (I thought it was supposed to be 8%), and 23% undisclosed automatic charges, including credit card surcharge. Then they have the audacity to ask for additional tip. The food was fine, as was the service, nothing exemplary. Without the financial slight of hand, I could see myself visiting regularly, but the disingenuous pricing is annoying enough for me to find somewhere else to go.

Memorial Day and Chicks' was busy! Our waiter was great and attentive. The cocktail was refreshing. The garlic crispy shrimp sandwich was delicious. Great place to hang out with friends and watch sports.

The Korean Salmon dish is good. The kimchi rice was a little too moist for me. I think if it was more of a sticky rice, with less moisture, it would have been perfect. The portion size of salmon was spot on and the veggies were cooked perfectly. I give it an 8/10

Chick's was a great choice after a fun afternoon in the area! Luckily we had a reservation because it was crowded and we were hungry-no wait time! The beer list was average..had a few drafts that I decided to try..but the cocktail menu had a few drinks that were super tasty (Lavender Gimlet and Blackberry Lemonade)! Our meals choices were: Italian Mussels; Lamb Burger and the Double Cheeseburger! The food was seasoned well and the portions were huge! We all had to have to-go containers! Our server was friendly and attentive!Overall, it was a good time and I would return in the future!

Nothing more important than Family-Friends and Food. You get all 3 here at Chicks. If you never been? This is a must. Do yourself and your family a favor and make this your next destination. Food is Great and the friendly staff is even better.

High quality ingredients. Ordered delivery and was pleasantly surprised. The Brussels Sprouts were crispy and flavorful. The burger was plentiful and had a perfectly runny yolk with a couple of beautiful slices of bacon. Lastly, the wings were perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The only regret I have is that I haven't gone to this restaurant yet!!

The food here was very good! We had the buffalo wings and the sergeant pepper pizza and both were delicious! Service was not bad, but they could have been more attentive. The atmosphere is nice, but it was pretty warm inside, some tables are already set to welcome people with water already poured which struck me as odd. I don't want water that's been sitting there for any period of time prior to my arrival. Overall I think it's a place we will visit again when we are back in the area.

The food is mid. Seriously mid...and way too expensive for what it tastes like. The service is pretty good though, but the kitchen is always behind (which is what the servers say) but the severs I've had are wonderful. Jordyn is the best...she will make your Chick's Philly experience something worthwhile. You can also tell that management is going down because the ambiance looks a bit dirty, especially the bathrooms.

We did carry out since we stayed nearby for the Rocky Run. Food was great. We didn't get to check out the ambiance but hubby got a peek when he picked up. Carryout service was friendly. Would come again and definitely would have snagged a shirt! (Tried to buy online but it wasn't an option.

I've ordered takeout from Chick's before, but just finally had the chance to dine-in for lunch and it was everything I had hoped for and more! I drive past Chick's often and every single time, I mention to my boyfriend that I really want to try a sit down meal there. There is something about the vibe of the space that is super cool and I knew we'd love it. If you are contemplating dine-in or takeout, you truly cannot go wrong with either option. They have great lunch specials, delicious pizza, and a wide menu of sandwiches and small plates to satisfy any group! For my meal, I had their burger and beer lunch special and opted for the wake and bacon burger. The blend of the meat was super tender and well seasoned. The fries that accompanied the burger were delicious! You can also get a side salad, for the same price. My boyfriend got the smaller sized pepperoni pizza. It was great! We will definitely be back!

This is the worst pizza I've possibly ever had. Me and my brother got a plain pizza, within a a couple bites, we threw it out. I brought it home to my parents house because my dad basically will eat anything... but got this text shortly after.. so anything except chicks pizza.

This place is one of the best Bar restaurants in South Philly. Thier menu is unique. The Porchetta sandwich is anazing. We love the Italian Mussels, bang bang shrimp and the Chicken wings. Out of this world. Pizza get "the In Bruges" you won't be disappointed.

Solid beer list, quality food and the staff is always friendly to my family. Top notch Philly sports bar.

What an unexpected winner! We went to chicks on a whim to watch the Phillies and were pleasantly surprised with how great the food was. We had the Mac and cheese, burger, and fried eggplant caprese sandwich. Everything was superb! The only small downside is that the beers are a bit over priced. Will definitely be coming back!

Wow this place went down hill big time! I came here when it opened and the vibe was really nice with friendly service. Today when we stopped by for lunch it was very different. First- bar tenders do not speak to you or make eye contact. Could care less that you are waiting. Or maybe because I am Asian? Because when my white husband came in after me- they spoke to home within a few minutes. So we only ordered a salad to share. We got the Greek salad with chicken- which was an insane price. 15 for basic salad and 8 for about 5 pieces of frozen chicken. I can taste the old chicken because it was so bland. Overall- skip this place. Not a friendly or inclusive experience and the food sucked.

Chick is one of my favorite places to eat and all of Philadelphia. Their food is amazing from their pizzas to the pasta dishes mussels The entire menu so if you're thinking about eating somewhere go to it chicks you won't be disappointed the best!!!!!!!!

The food is top notch, service is friendly and accommodating, Ambiance great vibe for family and sports and must to go and enjoy everything that they offer.

Food was great, and ambiance was very lax. The noise level in my opinion was average. There was no wait when I arrived, and I was able to just walk straight in, and seat myself at the bar. The bartender was very attentive, and friendly as soon as I sat down. The food wait was not long at all, and once it arrive it was hot, and everything tasted great. With this order I also add the South Philly Egg Rolls that I didn't have a chance to upload because they were so tasty. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I've been coming to Chicks since it opened. It has a great casual feel and friendly owners & staff! The food never disappoints and the bar is first class. From pizza to mussels to the meatballs with polenta, there's not much I don't like. It's a great spot for a date nite, family gathering or just a bunch of friends looking to unwind. But most of all, my handicapped granddaughter loves the food. They always treat her special which isn't very common in a lot of restaurants! I'd say overall, Chicks gets an 11 out of 10 on all counts!

Stopped in yesterday with the family for a bite to eat. This is one of my favorite places to go and finally made it back to enjoy another fine Sunday afternoon. The food was spot on and hasn't missed a beat since out last visit. Our appetizers came out quick and steaming hot. The mussels and wings were sensational. The crab and spaghetti dinner (2) were delicious. You have to try the roast pork stromboli with the broccoli rabe. Also, a great selection of beer and cocktails. Glad I finally made it back and looking forward to my next visit.

I recently ate at Chick's with a group of friends. I've been multiple times, but it was their first time there. I couldn't think of a better place to go in South Philly. It's always consistent. The food is great; especially the garlic parm wings and Ava's meatball pizza. The hostess and our waiter were extremely friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly even though the restaurant was busy. I would 100% recommend Chick's to anyone. The atmosphere is great, especially on a Philly sports game day!

Went here to catch up with friends while visiting Philly, and this place was the best! So many amazing food and drink options! Highly recommend the Mimosa Tower if you have a group!
