Chilango's Tacos at Legacy Hall deserves a five-star rating! The food here is no joke--the best tacos I've ever had. I couldn't resist going back to get as many as I could. The workers are chill and friendly, adding to the great experience. Even though it's just a stand in a food hall, the place where they make the food is impressively clean. For anyone looking for amazing tacos, this is the place to go! 5 stars!

Service and atmosphere are good with no issues. The store is located inside the Legacy Food Hall, so it's just a food-court style restaurant. My only complaint is with the food. It's pretty pricy, and the tacos aren't even filled that much, but everything in Legacy Food Hall is more on the expensive side anyway.

I am a huge fan of this place, one thing that I had not thought of is their catering and let me tell you it is Genius! If you have any event coming up use Chilangos! They are amazing well prepared and hands down the best experience I have had for catering and experience over all!

Couldn’t enjoy my barbacoa burrito because it’s full of grease. There’s no reason why the box is full of greases from the meat. There’s so much grease it started caking/staining the plastic wear wrap. Flavorful but can’t eat this

I recently tried their tacos, and while they weren't very crispy—likely due to the busy crowd and the speed of service—they were still delicious. The flavors were on point, and I appreciated the effort, even if the texture wasn’t perfect. Overall, a tasty option worth trying!

Favorite tacos in DFW! Long time customer at this location. Get La Costra sin tortillas if you’re doing carnivore. Great service from Yesmilin! She’s awesome!

My Friends at Chilangos Tacos at Legacy Hall are the best! They always have fresh meat cooking, and the best taste in town when it comes to asada Tacos! Highly recommend. They are always cheerful and always make me feel welcomed! That is WORLD CLASS service!!!

The Pineapples on the Pastor Taco are amazing and juicy, but the Carne Asada tacos are a bit salty; however both paired along the sals make for a solid taco for a decent price.

The absolute best tacos. I love their Birria tacos and elotes! They only sell them Friday- Sunday. I also enjoy the Pastor tacos with Pineapple. They are located at Legacy Hall closest to Fogo de Chão.

Birria tacos = life. Crispy tortilla, juicy slow-braised beef, dipped in that rich consommé Messy, cheesy, and worth every bite. The restaurant was inside Legacy Hall. I ordered my food and it came out really fast. So that was a plus. I cannot wait to come back to the restaurant again. It will definitely begin my service

While visiting from California, we all couldn't decide where to go eat, so we all decided to go to Legacy Hall and visit the "food court" I am so glad I chose Chilangos, I ordered the nachos and the serving was so huge, I could of shared it with another adult, my niece helped me finish it lol. The meat had such a great flavor and texture, these days it's so hard to find good "meat" and if I lived here, I would definitely try other items on the menu. The price was very reasonable nothing I could get here in California. The staff was very nice and the wait was about 10 minutes.

Carne asada tacos were amazing. I qould totally come back here again. I had flour tortilla and i really liked it. I ordered 3 tacos and really only needed 2.5 tacos. My brother ordered a carne asada quesdilla and that looked amazing. Cant wait to come back.

Yep, this the one. Super nice service. Food came out quickly. Tacos are the bomb! I got chicken and barbacoa. Well marinated, cooked right. Loved all the salsas. Crowded but I still found a place to seat easily.

Our recent visit to Chilango Tacos was a good decision made for a satisfying meal. We really enjoyed their grilled chicken taco and a delicious chicken quesadilla. Their green and red salsas are truly exceptional, easily some of the best we've tried, adding that authentic, vibrant Mexican flavor to every bite. The grilled chicken used in the tacos and quesadilla was very flavourful. Highly recommend them!

Got birra tacos and they are were pretty good however the consomé was a bit salty for me

Chilangos Tacos at Legacy Hall serves up street tacos quickly, but the experience was just average. i visited here on a Tuesday night. I ordered the al pastor and carne asada tacos, and while the onions and cilantro were fresh and fragrant, the tacos themselves were a bit cold, including the meat. The real highlight was the salsas--both the red and green were fantastic and elevated the flavor. Prices were fair for the venue, but overall, it was just an okay meal.

This restaurant in Legacy Hall has a good variety of menu items. I tried the Birria tacos, which came with three for about $14--a fair price. The flavor was good, but I wish they were crispier. The hall has plenty of seating, and the food was served quickly.

Ten times ten to the tenth power... That's how many stars I wish I could give these birria tacos!! They are hands down the most flavorful tacos I've ever tried. Unfortunately, they only have them on the weekends, but the order still came out super fast, even on a busy Saturday.

I was at the Legacy Hall last night and did a loop to figure out where I wanted to eat. Chilangos Tacos was perfect! I opted for two tacos, an order of chips and salsa, and a Chamoy Margarita- delicious! Tacos can be on corn or flour tortillas. Everything was so tasty, plus my order came out quickly. I love the salsas they provide with the tacos. The red had a good amount of spice. The margarita was excellent! Definitely a fun spot! Several people were in line and waiting for food here.

I ate here for the first time today. I had the barbacoa, al pastor, and carne asada tacos. Let's start from worst to beat. The al pastor taco wasn't hitting on anything. This taco was bland, never again from here for me. The barbacoa was very tender and had a decent flavor. I would get this again. However, the Carne asada was the best out of the three flavors I ate. The neat was well flavors and very scrumptious. I'll be back for this taco! The service was good for a fast-paced spot. There was a small line with many more waiting for their orders. The accompanying red and green salsas were robust with flavor as well. This is a hot spot and for $4.75 a taco not badly priced for the location either. Definitely give them a try!!! The only reason it isn't 4 stars is because the al pastor was a sharp flavor drop compared to the barbacoa and carne asada tacos.

We tried this place at the recommendation of a friend. The meat was very tasty, but there wasn't a ton of it in anything we picked. Very reasonably priced. It was fun to sit and watch all the people around at Legacy Hall.

You can grab a taco... but if you want to turn heads... Get the nachos. Trust me... You won't be turning just heads, you'll be filling your belly with scrumptious stomach craving deliciousness! So good, I only got one pic before it was GONE.

I love chilangos tacos! I've been there twice. The first time we ordered inside the legacy food hall at the table with the QR code and they bring directly to you. It was Nacho day or something so we only paid $10 for that huge portion of chicken nachos. The green sauce on top was so good! The chicken on it was also really flavorful so we knew if nachos are good then we had to come back and try more. The carne asada meat is my favorite! I tried it on tacos and the quesadilla and both of those items were super bomb! Definitely would continue coming here for both. The ambience is great since it's inside the food hall you have so much going on every time, concerts Dj events etc. The service is also good they staff is friendly.

Opted for the burrito and it did not disappoint, the food was spot on and very delicious! Service was fairly fast and quality too! Ambiance was fun as it was a food court type experience in the hall! Would recommend!

We've visited Chilangos twice now and both times have been great. Pleasant, helpful staff and great food. MARGARITAS: Their signature margarita is called the Chingonrita. It had mango and chamoy and the flavor was on point. It wasn't super super strong which is fine because I still got to enjoy my food without feeling too tipsy. But at the same time I got to day drink on a Saturday morning and enjoy a buzz. (My tolerance is pretty low.) TACOS: My friend got to try the birria tacos which I believe are a weekend only special. I forgot pics but she said they were good. I got the mushroom tacos ( 1 corn and 1 flour ) same as last time I was here. I really don't think I've ever had mushrooms that were cooked and seasoned so well in a taco. They were topped with cilantro and onion and I got extra green salsa. Grilled jalapeño, chips and salsa and elote ( to go ) perfected the meal. One of my favorite things about this place is they don't really tame the spice. Their red salsa is the spicier of the two that come with tacos. But even the salsa that comes with their side of chips and salsa has a little bit of a kick to it. And the Valentina for the elote tasted like it was the extra spicy version. I looooove spicy food and so many times places will try to cater to palates that cannot or will not enjoy spicy food. Chilangos does not disappoint.

This place is within Legacy Food Hall which has a bunch of other restaurants surrounding so we only ordered the Los Nachos topped with pastor. These nachos had queso, cheese, pico, sour cream, guac, and salsa. Overall not too bad however I will say that since everything is topped, the chips got soggy pretty fast. Also it was a tad bit on the saltier side, but other than that pretty yummy!

We ordered a group order from here and it was a complete disaster. They left out a handful of items and then when we tried to get it rectified, we were told they can't refund us for the missing items. They said we could come back up and get said items but mind you, this is HOURS after we picked up that we finally heard from them. They then tried to tell us that we did receive certain items, when we in fact didn't. I know mistakes happen, and some things can be left out or overlooked but it's the lack of caring that has this as a 1 star.

Worst Birria tacos I have ever had. Asked for steak, got shredded beef. Too greasy as well. Bigger concern is the negative energy here - it's obvious no one is happy and it translates to their food and now customer, as I'm not happy either after getting my over priced meal. For context, my wife also ordered Birria tacos, and is now ordering food from a different place since this is so poorly executed.

Chilangos at Legacy Hall for Fat Tuesday. It was my first time trying Chilangos and it did not disappoint. I usually go to Velvet Taco but my daughter wanted us to try Chilangos. Great flavor on the Pollo Taco on Flour, Pollo Taco on Corn, Pastor Taco on Corn. The flour was the best tasting but I try to stay away from the gluten. Great offering on the basics, nothing fancy. Very good service but the line can get long.

I drove from McKinney on my lunch hour, paid for valet, to find out they did t offer Birria tacos during the week. Only on weekends??? I just went to Velvet Taco and got three bangers. I asked the lady at the cash register to inform the manager. I had no confidence she would, so I'm leaving my feedback here. I hope they change this policy as it's the only birria spot for miles... I'll add pics of my Velvet Tacos for comparison.

Harry Hines is way better. Here, the food taste like meat has been sitting. Taste old non flavorful. Will stick to the Harry Hines taco place, they seem to have fresh tacos.

A location just on the right side when you enter Legacy Hall! Love the tacos here as it is AUTHENTIC -- nothing like Torchys or Taco Bueno... The birria is available on the weekends only!

Ordered to go for my lunch, I got the quesadillas since the tacos looked small. It was packed full of meat and so delicious! We had the mango margarita that they were amazing!

Great taco joint. Really reminds you of a true Mexican Taqueria. This is what tacos should taste like...highly recommend this spot! Service was great, all the servers were great.

Delicious tacos. Perfect simple menu, appealing bright neon sign and so tasty! Unfortunately we weren't having a big lunch otherwise I probably would have tried everything. My bf and I each had the specialty cheese taco. He had chicken all the way and I did the carne asada without onions. DELICIOUS. Green salsa was so flavorful and the red had quite the spicy kick. We both opted for sides of sour cream and honestly it didn't need it. Super flavorful, rich and expertly seasoned. The steak was so tender and flavorful I could have just eaten a bowl of that! Definitely lives up to the hype and I am so glad we tried it.

I have been to this place several times and the food is usually good as always. The are a lot of variety in the tacos but I think there should be somewhat more variety like lengua, tripas, cabeza, ojo , or even sesos. The nachos are pretty good since it helps to keep you full for hours . The birria is great but the thing is that it's only offered on weekends.The service is great, the manager is so chill since I know him and so do I know the workers. I always get my food out within 2 minutes. I think that the prices are pretty reasonable and fair because of the quality.I think that this place is good and a lot of people should go more often not just for food but also for other things like the atmosphere and the drinks or desserts. So I would say around 4 stars is a reasonable rating.

I've been meaning to try Chilangos for awhile but I never really got around to making the drive to Dallas. So imagine my delight when I found out that they opened a location in Legacy Hall!! I was ELATED!! Needless to say, I decided I needed to hurry up and get down here before everyone else finds out about it. So tonight - I made the trip! The employee who helped me was super sweet, friendly, and patient. Upon learning that it was my first time at Chilangos, he was more than happy to give me recommendations and helpful suggestions! After much deliberation, I ordered a chicken taco, al pastor taco, and the costra taco with carne asada. The chicken taco was alright - not the best I've had, but not the worst either. The Al Pastor was super flavorful, juicy, and delicious! The only downside is they forgot to add my pineapple and I didn't realize until it was too late. However, I wasn't even mad because the taco was still so good!! The Costra taco was unlike any taco I've ever had!! Basically, you get your choice of meat wrapped in a grilled cheese taco, then this gets put into a flour tortilla and topped with onions and cilantro. This was my favorite!! Super well-seasoned and very unique! One thing I will say before I leave is YALL - the cute little red and green sauces ARE HOT. Like HOT HOT. Like I was guzzling my Gatorade and stuck my tongue in a bowl of ranch trying to recover and it still took an additional 15 minutes to get my life back on track, hot. So, bear that in mind before you start drizzling salsa all over everything. I don't know if I just got a ghost pepper surprise batch or what but USE YOUR DISCRETION! Anyway, as you can see, this meal was an adventure. Thankfully - I LOVE adventures, so I'm a fan and I will absolutely be back here to enjoy other items on the menu!

Man.... I love a good taco, this... this is just terrible, overpriced, no flavor and that was just the beginning... my asada taco was mostly fat.... My 4 tacos were more like 2 tacos... I've eaten here before and I don't remember it being this bad.... I spent 25 Dlls for nothing. I'm still hungry.... Skip this place.

This place is located inside of Legacy Hall but had a very long line. That led me to believe that it was going to be pretty good but I was slightly disappointed. I believe that they were rushing because it was so busy. However, we ordered 1 chicken taco, 3 birria tacos, elotes, chips and queso. The flavor of the chicken taco was good, but I could tell that it had just been thrown together. The tortilla was broken up. The elotes just tasted like a cup of extra buttery super sweet corn. I couldn't taste anything else. The queso was the best thing in my opinion but it was just ok as well. My daughter says that she gives the birria tacos about a 6 on a scale of 1-10. Side note: I always forget pics

Wow. Tried 3 different tacos: Carne asada, Barbacoa & El Pastor. Tried a flour tortilla on the Barbacoa. All 3 were amazing. Meat was tender & flavorful. Tortillas soft. Service was great. Really cool atmosphere. Will definitely be back when I visit TX again.

I was born in Mexico and grew up there. Since being in the DFW area, I haven't found barbacoa tacos that actually taste like the ones in Mexico. Today, I found a gem! This place is delicious, tacos are greasy AS THEY SHOULD be, and the salsas were pretty good, too. I seriously can't believe I went so long settling for non-Mexican tacos. Seriously, do yourself a favor and try these. The only ones I tried were barbacoa as they're my favorite. My husband had pastor, and he can vouch that they were good too!

Tacos al pastor were very cold. The tortilla was so cold and very little meat. The birria tacos didn't have much flavor. Very pricy for such low quality food. Service was okay. Definitely won't eat here again.

Stumbled upon this place when checking out the Legacy West area. One of the best in the food court! Plus birria tacos on the weekends. If you are near the food court and want a quick and delicious bite this is the stop! Price is a little high, but the food and quality are awesome.

Ooofffff the food is incredible! Get the Birria Tacos! Worth the price! the birria dipping sauce is delicious and adds some amazing flavor to your meal!

Wow wow wow! We came in on a busy Sunday and got the Birria Quesotaco (only available on the weekend). They were slammed but we managed to get our tacos in about 5 minutes. I only say that because we also ordered from another food stall and it took over 20 minutes. The Birria were amazing! So flavorful and served on delicious handmade fried tortillas. 3 come in an order and are plenty filling. I can't say enough about how tasty they were. We will be back!

I've heard so much about Chillangos Tacos and I was so excited to come try it! This was at the Legacy Food Hall location, it didn't meet my expectations. I do blame myself for not getting more but I was trying to save room for other foods to try! Def more authentic than the other taco spot at legacy food hall. I'd come back to try a different meat and I want to try their elote!

Heard some good stuff about this place and it failed me today. I don't know if it's because it was super busy but the meat was dry and pretty bland. It was not worth the money. The girl that added cilantro and onions on my tacos didn't even had gloves on.

I've been more time than I should admit, but I have to say that I love the food. It tastes so authentic and incredibly delicious. I've been to many taco joints around the country, and this chain is one of my favorites. The service is good, only need to wait 5 minutes max (depending on how busy), and the ambiance is good too. I recommend you go to the original location in Dallas with a sit-down restaurant because there are a lot more options there too with the extended menu. I highly recommend it!

I got the beef and pork and thought they were both so delicious. A great meal for the price. Very tasty and savory. The employees were great and our food came out so quickly. We loved this spot! It came with guacamole and a hot sauce that was VERY hot haha! Coming from someone who doesn't do spicy tho lol. We'd love to come back and try more of their food as we were very pleased with these Las Costras for $5

The best tacos I've tasted in Dallas. I've had tacos in LA, Mexico, Houston, Austin, and this spot in Legacy happens to be one of the best I've had. A truly Mexican true and authentic taste. My only gripe is that they didn't double stacked the tortillas for each taco and just used one. But everything else about the tacos are wonderful. Their crisp, tender, hot, and delicious. The salsa that accompanied the tacos were a perfect addition with their taste and spice levels. Personally I am very critical when it comes to a locations corn. This location offered me a corn in the cup and they had everything I looked for in a good serving of corn. The right cheeses, butter, mayo, and right spices. They had everything I needed as if I built it myself. However be aware that they make their corn pretty spicy. If you love spicy corn like me then this is perfect for you! But if you're not a fan of too much spice then request no spice or less of it. I'm definitely coming here again and highly recommend to anyone else looking for delicious authentic tacos and corn.
