They're out of stock of eggs and my order was the bimbimbap which supposedly has an egg on it. However, the two ladies that served me put extra avocado and the peach basil lemonade drink that I ordered was for free as a replacement! such a nice gesture :) they're so polite too :)

Google
When East meets West, there will always be sparks. I got the noodles with both steak and pork, yummy 😋 Savory and spicy, wash down with a cold drink, perfect for the weather.

Google
This is one of the best new restaurants I've been to. While we may have visited on a slow Sunday afternoon, the service was extremely quick. The portion sizes are large and filling, and well worth the price. As advertised, the kimchi is out of this world. My personal recommendation would be to get the soy glazed pork and magic sauce. It's a great combo.

Griffin Drescher

Google
Real tasty. Great service. I was working in an office down the way here in Austin I’m glad I went. Such a fun combination of flavors. I went with the bulgogi steak and the glazed chicken with a fried egg and guacamole. Kind of has a Cava or Chipotle vibe if you’re used to that make it your own speed service. Worth trying.

Google
$10 for the 3 tacos, they are decent but nothing to write home about. I didn’t know this location didn’t have wings but I was already in line so tried the tacos. Meat is average, decent toppings but you need a fork to eat ‘em and there are hundreds of better taco spots.

Laura Egli

Google
Delicious tofu noodle bowl. Would eat here again. I found the portion large and very filling for a lunch.

Carol Mackin

Google
Yummy. Would get extra sauce next time. Ordered the bowl with the steak - flavored & cooked well. Caramelized Kimchi not a lot of heat. Ready fast - ordered online for pickup.

Antonio “4n7m4n” Piazza

Google
I had a salad bowl with double ribeye, kimchi, guacamole, and cheese with magic sauce and it was delicious! Price was a little high, but I'd say it was worth it. Just don't want to spend that much for lunch every day.

Yelp
Came in from AZ to get some great Austin food. One of my clients mentioned Chi'lantro. We bopped in for lunch. I had the famous fries. They were very good! The layers of flavors & sauces were spot on. Perhaps the fries were a little under done. If they been crispier they would have held up to the wet toppings better. My husband had a pop chicken bowl. Very good as well.

Yelp
First time visit for me and I was very pleased with my order. The B'Bimbap was delicious and the portion was quite generous. The price for my bowl was around $16 due to the steak (up charge). This location seems pretty popular - dining area was busy and some add-ons were sold out. Overall decent spot for lunch - I do recommend.

Yelp
Went here for a business lunch after the Apple Store employee recommended it. I love Korean food but did not know what to expect. A man who I assume was the manager or owner came out to greet us and help us pick our meals. Everything was amazing. I got the bibimbap bowl and my colleague made his own. We both loved it! I also tried the glass noodles and loved those. They even had kombucha. The Restaurant was very clean and bright, it was a perfect spot for us. If I am ever in Austin again I will definitely be back!

Yelp
It's definitely fusion.. Don't come here expecting Korean / Asian food. While some of the flavors taste vaguely familiar (japchae noodles, pickled vegetables), you're best off adjusting your expectations and just appreciating it for what it is, not what you want it to be. The kimchi was limp and lacked the complex flavor it's supposed to have. They did not have sesame oil or green onion, which I feel like is mandatory in any ode to Korean cuisine?? Especially if you have Ssam on the menu... I left feeling very confused and conflicted. People who don't really know Korean food would find this enjoyable, and I'm happy for them. It's just not for me.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Disappointing. I really like Chi'Lantro. This was my first visit to this (Congress) location. Staff was rude. It's a food truck on Congress so it's busy and loud. We had some trouble hearing each other, and when I made a correction to something they added to my bowl, they rolled their eyes at me as they dumped the food and started over. I received a bowl full of noodles and small sprinkles of the toppings. Normally I would write off this experience as a fluke and try again, but it was such an unfriendly experience, I won't be returning.

Yelp
LOVED this place!! Perfect Buddha bowls! Great portions and great ingredients. Everyone was super nice and helpful!! The restaurant was clean!

Yelp
Great food Great concept I hope they spread far and wide. I'd go back for more the next day as there is a decent variety of options

Yelp
Best restaurant I've had in forever !! The combination is genius and the staff are amazing

Yelp
So good! Everything tasted amazing. I loved the variety and the Korean take on chipotle. Kimchi tries are a much!

Yelp
Really glad this place survived the pandemic. Super filling food with unique flavors make this spot a go-to when I'm in town for work. I used to frequent their food truck per-pandemic and the store is everything that made that great and more. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the owner / manager (not totally sure, maybe both?) that I spoke to during checkout was super friendly. Definitely worth a stop, try the magic sauce!

Yelp
I was at food truck around 10:20am, and had to wait till 10:30am. Didn't know they were switching from their breakfast menu to their lunch menu. I ordered the rice bowl with spicy pork and added a fried egg. The food was great. Generous portion size. The lady seemed a little impatient with me when I was ordering though. Anyway, it was a short walk from the Texas State Capitol building, so it worked out well as a pit stop for me.
google avatar

Nan T.

Yelp
Love stopping by this truck for lunch. Keep in mind that this location has a far more limited menu than other locations. The food is consistently good and the staff are really nice. They changed their hours when they re-opened after the pandemic hit. I wish they would bring back their breakfast tacos -- that's my only suggestion!
google avatar

Kayla S.

Yelp
The worst service ever. The manager Jorge is self centered and has no respect for customers or fellow employees!!! He ridiculed one of his fellow employees on what he was eating on his break and was constantly making side remarks towards him the whole time I was there. This company should choose more mature people to become managers!!! I will NEVER come here again. And if I were you, I wouldn't waste my time if you don't want to here losers be bullies to innocent people.

Yelp
During SXSW, I grabbed a bit to eat in between sessions at the Chi'lantro food truck that set up shop in front of the Austin Convention Center (by the Trinity and 4th entrance). It was popular with a bunch of people queued up to order, but the line moved quickly. I grabbed two orders for me and the hubby - Original Kimchi Fries with Tofu (for him) and Ribeye Beef Rice Bowl (for me). The food was delicious - pricy, but delicious. Original Kimchi Fries has caramelized kimchi, cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, sriracha, and their "magic sauce". You have an option to add tofu, spicy chicken, soy-glazed chicken, spicy pork or ribeye beef (beef is a $1 extra). Rice bowls have rice, black beans, grilled corn, garden veggies, kimchi, fried egg, salsa, and a choice of protein (ones noted before). You have a choice of either white or brown rice. If you see the Chi'lantro truck in Austin, I recommend running over there and placing an order. Another cool thing about Chi'lantro is that it uses biodegradable paper containers and utensils. Eco-conscious and delicious, Chi'lantro is awesome!

Michelle B.

Yelp
Love this food truck! Super fresh and flavorful food. Hubby and I shared a rice bowl with beef ribeye and 2 corn tacos with spicy pork. The veggies were so refreshing and the meats were perfectly seasoned. Decent prices. Portions are actually more filling than they seem.
google avatar

Suriya S.

Yelp
Nice food. Not a huge fan of their cheese but I liked the kimchi and the concept of the restaurant
google avatar

Yelp
Out of towner here. This is a food truck that is stuck to the ground. Apparently that is an Austin thing. I was trying to figure out how to track down this food truck. But apparently there is no need. It's not going anywhere. They have pretty decent, fairly inexpensive rice bowls that you design Chipotle style. All the ingredients are fresh and the soy vinegar dressing added good flavor for me. A good lunch option in downtown Austin.

Yelp
So welcoming!!! Wonderful food! Very friendly staff!! Seemed to enjoy creating the perfect vegan bowl! Please open in Durham, NC.

Yelp
Chi'Lantro!!! I'd heard about it for a long time and how amazing the Kimchi Fries were! Their growth is a testament to the large following they have in the Austin arena. With the cold weather and stiff wind Wednesday and Day 3 of the dreaded common cold---my granddaughter and I decided one of the brick and mortar locations would be best. It was a toss up between the S. Lamar location and this location-both near her place. The "Shore Location" as this is called is a beautiful property-lots of glass and metal -huge , tall windows-tall condos and apartments surround the area-easy access to bus route and campus. Since I'd heard the fries were legendary I had to try them...we agreed to split an order and each decided we wanted our own bowl-and to order a ToGo for the grandson as this was girl time. Hannah advised me to "follow the instructions on the menu board" and I'd be fine. We ordered the fries-and were asked to choose a protein so opted for beef. Then -I was up-choice of rice, noodle, lettuce, taco (2) or burrito. I opted for noodle and a pretty Asian designed bowl was given a healthy dose of fine, sweet potato noodles. Next-choice of protein-beef, spicy chicken *my choice. soy glazed chicken, glazed tofu, add fried egg? (Yes) add Queso (no-not this time)-on to fresh chopped veggie /herb selections-me? Everything but Cilantro...kimchi-yes and half a fresh avacado (no guacamole due to cilantro)-sauces-I believe there were at least 6 options-I chose the Magic Sauce(it was ranked 2 flames). Hannah managed her and her brothers bowl-. I ordered us beverages when I saw the fountain was Maine Root offerings including Ginger Beer (I've never found on a beverage fountain anywhere!) I had a very short lived heart attack when I saw the size of the "fries" that we had gotten for an appetizer. It easily could've been shared by two people as a main course or three or more for an appetizer. Once I got over my shock and paid our bill I couldn't wait to get back to a table and start chowing down. The fries were crispy and fresh even though nearly buried under a mountain of beef and other toppings and of coarse Kimchi. OMG Really delicious! It was hard to focus on our conversation and try different areas of my bowl and an occasional "have to have a couple more fries" moment! Hannah and I both enjoyed the Ginger Beer too. The cost was moderate-we took the leftover fries home along with the grandsons takeout and Hannah and I both had half our dishes left for lunch tomorrow as well. It was really great to enjoy discussing her upcoming teaching assignment in S Korea and have an intro to some great Korean food at the same time. I'll definitely return.

Yelp
Really love the idea! I made my own tacos and my boyfriend built his own burrito but I think I'll try the signature next time because I think I got a little too topping heavy.
google avatar

Yelp
Always fantastic when I come here. Luckily I started working downtown, and this location is close! Staff is always very friendly and the service is great. I love how friendly and attentive they are to first timers ( who I was with) as well as the regulars who are there to get lunch. I haven't gotten there before 1030 for breakfast yet, but I hope I can take the walk up the street soon. It's always time permitting of course :) Keep doin the good work!
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to grab something quick. Sort of Chipolte, but a food truck where you do not have an option to sit and eat. Good for quick lunch times grab and go. You would usually find a big line during lunch hours at this location. I like the spicy taste and the fusion concept is great. You have a lot of option to choose from and make a bowl of the choice with your ingredients ! I usually like the noodle bowl and sometimes I go for a rice bowl or a burrito. I love there Kimchi salad and miss there Kimchi Fries that I have had at one of their other locations. Go early during lunch hours to avoid a long wait !
google avatar

Shirley S.

Yelp
Loaded fries are loaded fries. Drunk food and nothing much more...can't go wrong with it. There's no way fries can be crisp while holding up layers of sauce and condiments so can't really blame them for not trying to make fries really great themselves. But the mix of stir fried kimchi (honestly SO good) and the mayo and scallions is delicious! I also got the steak taco and chicken taco. Chicken was moist! And flavorful. The steak is alright. Interior is small but enough to seat a good dozen or so people. Glad this place made it from truck to building!
google avatar

Lilan N.

Yelp
We got the spicy pork bowl and the kimchi fries. I'll prob always come back for the kimchi fries, it's what got them famous! This is a fusion Korean and Mexican style restaurant. Very hip and aesthetic inside! Plenty of seating. Only have the Austin organic sodas. The kimchi fries were BOMB. I love the flavor of the bulgogi you can get on top and the special magic sauce PULLS IT TOGETHER. Y'all have to try it! The bowl often comes with less meat than rice, so the ratio is a bit off, but nonetheless still delicious!
google avatar

Lacey D.

Yelp
The bulgogi burger is amazing! The people are friendly, the price reflects the quality of the food. We were beyond pleased with our order it was delicious. It's very interesting, not like something you get just anywhere. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items!

Yelp
I work in the downtown area where there's limited parking and food options, hence, a couple of my co workers decided to walk a block and pay chilantro a visit. Chilantro is a food truck tucked in front of the post office (if I remember it right). It's hard to miss around lunchtime as you'll see a bunch of people in suites and business casual in line for food. Unlike other food trucks, they do not accept cash so skip the ATM. I heard about Chilantro watching Shark Tank once where the owner got a deal from the sharks in order to expand. Anyhow, I honestly think that the reviews about this place was overhyped OR I just ordered the wrong thing (like the rice bowl). With that said, my co worker recommend the rice bowl so I tried it. I got the spicy chicken rice bowl with everything on it. Now, one thing about me is I love meat.... and to find out that my plate was 90% rice and 10% meat was upsetting. I love the fact that it was overloaded by my toppings/veggies but seriously dude.. where's the meat? 8 bucks for veggies and rice is pretty absurd. Although, customer service is great--the employees are extremely friend which I like. Overall, I am willing to give Chilantro another try. However, I'll never take a chance on their rice bowl ever again. Yikes!
google avatar

Lyle T.

Yelp
Knocked a star off because the kimichi fires were cold. Flavor and topping were great but cold fries no good. I had a rice bowl with ribeye (pork is better than ribeye) I added way too many toppings. Mushrooms and avocado were delicious I just over ordered. Bowl had a pretty good flavor but there was something, maybe a spice or herb that I wasn't crazy about. Didn't remove any stars for that because I understand it's probably just me. Good temperature was the only real issue. The bowl wasn't very warm either. My friend enjoyed the spicy pork burger. It looked great. Fountain drinks with a hipster twist. Whatever. Music was a little loud but atmosphere was clean and organized. All good.

Yelp
Delicious food and great food with an amazing catering department. Annie ROCKS - highly recommend them for your next catering event!!!!

Yelp
1st time trying Chi'Lantro always saw my co workers eating it so i decided to try it, for some reason it looked like it was like Chipotle but it's nothing like it. I got the rice bowl w/spicy chicken, chilantro, cheese, tortilla strips, black beans. i give it a 6/10. Not bad
google avatar

Steven L.

Yelp
It is hard to pick among all the fantastic food trucks in Austin, but Chi'Lantro manages to craft a more than respectable reputation for themselves. I first read about their Original Kimchi Fries in the local newspaper which questioned whether or not their fries were overrated. Chi'Lantro built its empire on their amazing Original Kimchi Fries, Korean Fried Chicken Wings with gangnam sauce and other Korean-Mexican inspired dishes. So despite what the newspaper said, I had to try the Original Kimchi Fries that transformed a food truck into multiple brick-and-mortar stores. The Kimchi Fries were a masterpiece of flavor and texture. The kimchi was buried under the fries and sauce, but it provided an incredible burst of umami or savoriness to the fries. It's characteristic sour flavor left your mouth watering and craving for the next bite. The Korean chili powder wasn't too overwhelming to the point where there was too much heat either. It was just the right amount of chili powder for the flavor. The fries themselves were crispy and golden on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Combined with the sharp cheeses (Monterey Jack + Cheddar), some magic sauce, a dash of sriracha (after all, how can you be trendy without it?) and topped with cilantro, the Kimchi Fries was a blast. My only gripe was that the tofu was fried to an absolute crisp. It was way too crunchy and way too much fried flour for the tofu. Even though Chi'Lantro is fast food, the depth of flavor belies the amount of time spent preparing it. It is on the slightly higher end of the price spectrum, but that is to be expected. I think it was completely worth it to pay the premium for the ingredients and the ingenuity. Chi'Lantro challenges the way you envision traditional Korean cuisine (Korean BBQ) and is infused with lively Mexican flavors. I will definitely be back the next time I visit Austin!

Yelp
We absolutely love ATX and after canoeing on the lake we were looking for something fresh sense the night before we went out on the town and also we had a crap to tone of BBQ, room service and drinks lol. We ended going here and absolutely loved the vibes in this place from the get. We checked it out on yelp and seen that a they a specific type of fries that's similar to a food truck we have in HTX ( Yes, I am a Houstonian) The fries are from a place called Gogo Fries but many places have this type. We walk up take our orders and everything is swift and fast from preparation to transaction. Did I mention I love that I absolutely LOVE the fact that they're a Cashless food joint. Helps to speed up the transaction, save trees (no receipt paper) and they take Apple Pay. So we dive in and ... AMAZING! Everything was super fresh and delicious! The workers kept checking in with us and the environment was perfect to along with the fries. We will definitely come back again!!

Yelp
Holy Mama Mia Spicy Korea! I went looking for a party Saturday night, and what I got was some hot Korean spicy love @ ChiLantro - - a party in my mouth, hell yeah! I got there right when they opened at 9pm, looked over their menu, saw their specials, handed them my groupon, and ordered the following sample platter that was fit for a king: Spicy Kim Chee Fries w/ beef, Chicken & Pork Burrito, and the Beef Burrito. All were five bucks a piece, I used my $12 groupon (that cost $6) so I paid the additional $3 total plus a $2 tip. Not too shabby if you ask me, and I'm going to have leftovers for sure. I ate the Spicy Kim Chee Fries on the spot - just couldn't wait. They were really hot and tasty!! IMO $5 is premium priced, but it's unique food that tastes great, there's nothing like it, and I've finally found some tasteworthy bar food. The fires are thicker cut, includes beef + cilantro + grilled kim chee, and it's topped w/ some awesome spicy mayo - - which I went back to ask for more since I couldn't get enough of the spicy goodness. The burritos were awesome too, my favorite was the beef. There's also egg in the burrito which adds a different texture and taste when you bite into it. No spicy mayo sauce - - but I got some on the side to go so that made me happy. Did I say it was spicy? Hells yeah. I'm sold - seriously it's new and spicy and tasty cuisine that's totally different from the usual. Give this ChiLantro place a go - - I'll be camped out behind the truck fo sho!

Yelp
In Austin you are faced with a TON of food truck choices. It is often the hardest decision of your day, trying to figure out which one to indulge in. Especially at an event or festival where they are lined up nice and pretty beckoning you to their windows to give your order. At the New Year's Eve festival downtown, my husband and I decided to try a little bit of this and a little bit of that (apparently making hard decisions is not in the cards for 2017). We got "appetizers" from a few food trucks so we could sample lots of things! At Chi'Lantro....well we got the World Famous Kimchi Fries.....DUHHHHH You have to get the Kimchi Fries at Chi'Lantro. We got them with the ribeye beef. Yum! So flipping good. Not into beef? They had other options of Spicy Pork, Spicy Chicken, Soy-Glazed Chicken or Tofu. All good choices! Except Tofu....sorry, just no. But YES to Kimchi fries! Million times yes.

Yelp
I worked downtown this past year, across the street from Chi'Lantro, and cannot say enough good things about it! The line can get long during peak times, so if you work nearby, I would pop down around 11:30 or 11:45 to avoid the lunchtime crowd. Despite the lines, the service is great and everyones orders come through quickly. The staff is very friendly and I've never had a problem with an incorrect order! The location at the post office is just grab and go (no seating or parking) and caters to people who work downtown or at the Capitol. I normally order a salad bowl with beef, veggies, and the carrot ginger sauce. It's easy to make Chi'Lantro light and healthy, or more substantial with rice noodles! Note that this location (at the post office on Congress) does not have kimchi fries. if you work downtown, or are visiting the Capitol and want a quick lunch, I would highly recommend Chi'Lantro!

Yelp
yummaaaay to my tummaaaaay. To start off, I'm korean so I'm more critical when i eat korean than any other type of food. The food truck idea isn't a new concept, as many other reviewers have mentioned and chilantro offers tacos, burritos, quesadillas, hot dogs and burgers. Taco's are priced about $2 dollars and the others are $5 dollars. They also offer korean drinks and snacks in the front!! I ordered the spicy chicken and spicy pork taco, both with kimchee. Wowza the spicy pork was SO flavorful, tender, and juicy. The lettuce and kimchee on top add a lil crunch and doesn't take the taste away from the meat. The spicy chicken was alright but i prefer the spicy pork! I also got the grape bonbon drink which was a childhood fave of mine. They now take credit cards which is convenient and it was pretty nifty cause he used the Ipad to swipe it. Look for their location on their website or on twitter!!

Yelp
This little restaurant has big bold flavors and creative ingredient combinations that could easily become a national franchise! The "Chipotle" style menu makes it easy to create your own bowl and allows for a variety of fresh, healthy options. I loved the food here and hope that they open a restaurant in the Fort Worth area soon! Great options for vegan or vegetarians!
google avatar

Yelp
3.5 stars My coworker highly recommended this food truck and raved about the kimchi fries so we decided to come try it out. I ordered the quesdailla and split an order of kimchi fries. I thought the quesadilla was way too oily although the portions were quite large. The kimchi fries tasted pretty good and were definitely an unique creation. My friends were raving about the burger so I'm actually quite sad I didn't get to try it. I already had a burger the day before so I wanted to try something different, but don't make the same mistake as me and just get the burger. The meal was quite filling and pretty cheap, something that doesn't happen often enough when I eat at food trucks.

Yelp
This is a Korean - Mexican Fusion Food Truck. All I can say is.... YUMMY! Everything was pleasing to my taste buds. ChiLanto did the catering for my friend's wedding. It was my first time sampling their food. I absolutely Korean food and I gotta say, I'm impressed! Everyone at our dinner table was wowed by how delicious everything was! We sampled: Bulgogi Tacos, Spicy Pork Tacos, Spicy Chicken in the Baos, Jap Chae, Tofu, Sliders, and Kimchi Fries with an over easy egg on top. I can confidently give them 5 stars! When I'm back in Austin, I'll definitely look for this food truck again!
google avatar

Yelp
Austin is always there for me when they keep a promise to their "keep Austin weird" slogan. Chi'lantro Korean bbq is one of my favorite food trailers. You must try the original kimchi fries with ribeye bulgogi that are pictured. One of the most delicious, psychedelic things that you can obtain here in the bat city. It's so good that it's bad.

Mike P.

Yelp
Portion size significantly dropped from my last visit two weeks ago to today. Ordered double meat too and the food didn't get near the top of the bowl. More like half way full. Beware.
google avatar

Yelp
Where so many other shops can't show up properly, Chi'Lantro has filled in the gap. I come here a lot. Pros: * Quality food, consistent, friendly people * Reasonable variety given that it's a food truck Cons: * Location is a bit of a pain, you've got to stand around awkwardly in front of a post office. * Occasionally run out of things if you arrive after 1:00 pm. Recommendations: * Much prefer the burritos to other options * Not a big fan of the "magic" sauce * Ask for some hot sauce on the side
google avatar

Sandra M.

Yelp
I love Chi'Lantro. One of the best food trucks around. The Kimchi fries are a must! They are incredibly flavorful - the combination of sriracha, cheese, and their special sauce is beyond delicious. It has a to die for flavor kick and isn't too spicy either. I washed down the fries with a cold bottled (mexican) coke. Hearty meal that hit the spot. My only complaint is that they need to smother the fries in the amazing sauce. Awesome: Kimchi Fries Ok: Rice Bowl and Spicy Fries
google avatar

Corey W.

Yelp
Five stars all day everyday! Everything about this place rocks! The location, friendly staff, and amazing healthy food has me returning to this food truck a few times a week. In the mornings I prefer their Lamar taco and for lunch I always enjoy their spicy chicken noodle bowl! Give this place a try! You will not regret it!

Yelp
Whoa the food here is just heavenly. Every bite just melts in your mouth. I got their Bulgogi Tacos and Spicy Pork Tacos, and tried some of their tofu fried rice. I would definitely try them again if I end up visiting Austin again! Two tacos is probably enough but if you're feeling hungry, then do 3.

I haven't been to Chi'Lantro's in a while for a reason, however since downtown Austin's food truck is right outside the post office doors, it lured me into giving it another try. Sadly, I'm still not convinced for future returns. The meat marinades are sweet, the tofu is extremely dry and it would be nice to have the option of "soft" vs. cooked/fried tofu. How about bean sprouts or other vegetable options for rice bowl toppings?

Yelp
*Revisions* Decided to try Chi'Lantro again and ordered the same meal (noodle bowl with beef) my portion was twice as big and still delicious! The small portion must of been a one off situation.. maybe they where running low that day. According to the great Anthony Bourdain, " A Restaurants success is dependent on consistency." I see great things in Chi'Lantro future. Also, the manager of this location exudes so much passion it radiates!

Yelp
After trying Chi'Lantro's food truck many moons ago at Nocturnal Fest, Fun Fun Fun Fest and this past SXSW I am finally writing a review. My most recent experience with the food trailer was their catering menu during the Class of 2015 #RepublicSX. There were so many hungry festival goers yet the line moved super smooth, the Chi'Lantro crew definitely knows team work. The first night of the event I had the chicken sliders which is a catering menu item. The chicken was well seasoned topped with magic sauce. The hint of spice, toppings and soft bun were perfect. The second night I had their freaking amazing beef street taco. When I indulge I want it to be amazing and their streeet tacos were oh so worth it. The rib eye bulgogi was rich and flavorful. The cilantro, onions, Chi'Lantro salsa, sesame seeds, and lime wedge and fresh corn tortillas complimented the meat perfectly. They also serve tofu as a protein option and they have some gluten free menu items. Chi'Lantro is known for their gorgeous original kimchi fries and for a first time visit these are a must. The fries come with your choice of ribeye bulgogi, spicy pork, spicy chicken, soy glazed chicken or marinated tofu, then topped with caramelized kimchi, cheddar & Monterey jack cheese, onions, fresh cilantro, spicy magic sauce, sesame seeds and sriracha. Last night I finally tried their brick and mortar on South Lamar, review to follow!

Yelp
I used "lunch drop" so I ordered my meal and it was delivered so that may be a factor. The price was a little high for quality & quantity you receive. I ordered a rice bowl paid for double portion of meat $3 upcharge. The bowl was small land really only a few pieces of meat. The rest of the bowl didn't have much flavor. I also ordered the chicken wings which were cooked well & crunchy and the sauce had good flavor. I would give 3.5 stars...not sure I would order again.

Yelp
If you're looking for traditional Korean food, this place is not the place to go. If you're looking for hipster Americanized Korean food, then you came to the right place! They have added more items to their menu since expanding from a food trunk to a brick and motor. They added rice bowls! The only thing I get is their kimchi fries. Everything else I have had such as their burgers, fried chicken, and bowls were bland to me. The decorations and design of the restaurant is trendy! It would be a good place if you wanted to take some instagram photos of the food.
