Staff was kind. Waitress was polite. The manager was competent. They went out of their way to put the soccer game one for us. The waitress was patient with my non English speaking parents. She was good about checking on us without coming every 5 seconds. She was knowledgeable and brought everything out quickly. The food was good. My parents enjoyed it. Thank you for the good experience. The only con was that the water tasted nasty. The cups smelled bad. The bartender should have never given me such an ugly lime. If you're paying for an $8+ margarita. It should be presentable.

At the end of the last school semester, we arranged for some fellow Spring Branch Middle School colleagues and teachers to have a quick luncheon to say goodbye to the school year. The chilli's management team put together a few free appetizers as a thank you to us all and set aside a nice area for us to chat. We can't thank their management team and servers enough for making our lunch amazing. A credit to the chain. Thank you

Absolutely phenomenal experience at this chilis last night. Came in after 7+ hrs floating on the river with a group of 9, who were guzzling Dr Peppers like our lives depended on it. We never had to wait for a refill. Chips and salsas were always stocked. Servers were attentive and interactive. And the food slapped. Everyone involved deserves a raise. Thanks for the great time!

This is the best Chilli's restaurant by far hands down. Great ambience. Love the Rustic decoration. Great customer service and great food. Our server Clay was one of the best servers that we have ever had. He was very attentive to us and courteous and polite.

I just got home after eating a late dinner at the Chili’s in Bulverde, Texas. It was the best dining experience I’ve had in as long as I can remember whether it be a fast food restaurant or one with white lemon tablecloths. I was greeted by a friendly hostess, who engaged me. I’m sorry I don’t know her name. I was then greeted by my server. Her name was Maddie she was friendly she helped me with substitutions I wanted and was at the table before I even needed her. She brought me a refills before I asked for them. Everything was done with a smile, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I even apologize to her because I was playing online trivia at the table and I felt bad that I didn’t give her my best acknowledgment because I was too busy trying to win the game the manager without me asking stop by the table to ask how everything was his name is Rhett Derby. He was friendly chatted with me didn’t act like he was in a rush. The experience was absolutely amazing. The Bulverde chilies location is not the closest one to me, but I will always go out of my way to the Bulverde location to receive that kind of stellar customer service. The only reason that I gave a four star answer to the food was that the rice was a little too sticky someone reading this might think I’m too picky but I’ve done this kind of work for a living in the past this chilies location deserves six stars unfortunately, I can only give them five sincerely Darrell Warner

We went here when they first opened. It was a disaster. I thought I'd never go back. During this visit I was very impressed. The burger was great! Service, outstanding. I'll go back. We will be back. I just don't know how soon. Playing UNO while waiting for our food was also enjoyable.

Ordered takeout and they missed some items. Had to go back for them and they fixed it immediately, but I'm not sure why you would check the box confirming the food items are in there if they are not. The staff was kind and service was quick. They were a quality contribution to the brand. Look, it's Chili's. Either you like the chain or you don't. They do a good job of delivering the standard favorites of the chain. Those southwestern eggrolls and avocado ranch are still on point.

Our waiter, Jonah, provided great service--he was very attentive, courteous, and had a great attitude throughout our meal. The atmosphere was perfect for a family gathering, and we all enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a friendly and enjoyable dining experience!

Great service with Crystal! She is our favorite server. And today she was training Kyle who seems like the perfect person to work there. If Chrystal is training him he will do great. The food was amazing! We always come in for the chicken fajitas. They are the best fajitas around. The chicken is just cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef who cooks them. We share them every time we come in. So filling. The restaurant is so clean and inviting. We tend to sit in the bar area because we like the high top tables. And Crystal is always our server. She is just the best!!

Chili's no longer serves...wait for it...CHILI c'mon man! Doesn't anything ever just stay the way it should? Put chili back on the damn menu along with your original Chili's tacos, the Cajun Chicken Sandwhich, and the original fajita recipe!

Not a bad place you get way you pay for. It's quick and friendly but the food isn't the best. Seemed like all the meals I had lacked in the seasoning area. It was bland then suddenly you'd get a big chunk of salt. Not bad though, it was still good enough to finish the whole plate. I would come again for a quick meal and maybe a couple of drinks! Out of all the things I had I recommend the quesadillas over the others. The season was clumpy at the edges but I loved the bacon, cheese, and ranch flavor to it. The cookie dessert tasted like a regular store bought cookie but it still hit the spot after a long day.

The service here was great and the restaurant itself is clean and nice but the food was not the greatest. The white cheddar Mac and cheese was super salty and the queso dip tasted like can chili and for 10 bucks you hardly get much at all. I got the chicken wings and my wife got the ribs and we did not take home the left overs and I always take left overs if I don't finish. I think it's a good spot to take the kids but if you're a foodie this is not the place. Probably won't ever eat here again, sorry Chili's.

I've been a fan of Chili's for years. So when we got one in our town, I was ready to go. However, after reading some of the first reviews, I decided to wait until the help got up to speed. My daughter came to visit so it seemed like a good time to try it. We hopped in for a late lunch, missed the crowds, and received great service. I can't name our help as it seemed like we had an army of folks serving us. However, they were all friendly, smiling, and attentive. We placed our orders on the 3 for $9.99 offer. This entitles you to a drink, app, and your main course. Food came quickly, was prepared correctly, and was piping hot. It appears to me that all the newness issues have been solved. I'm very glad for that as we don't have many options to choose from. Will I return? Definitely:-)

First of all, we waited for at least 15 minutes for waitress to come take our order. She brought our menus and drinks right away and then...we waited... Finally , we got the attention of another waitress and she told our waitress we were waiting. Ordered the triple dipper appetizer with southwestern egg rolls; mozzarella sticks and beef sliders. Then we ordered crispy chicken(4pc) and (5pc). Children's meal with chicken sliders and ear of corn. Appetizer came and beef sliders were fine; mozzarella sticks were ok; southwest egg rolls were terrible. They appeared to have been "sitting" for a while and then stuck in microwave and looked and tasted awful... Our food came and child's corn looked dehydrated cause it was shriveled...waitress brought another corn and it looked better but had a nasty taste(two people tasted it besides the child)...I didn't let him eat it because I was afraid it would make him sick. Our crispers came and the chicken was cold; fries were fresh and good; Mac and cheese was cold. Manager came over and we showed her...and she took our plates and brought us new food. The chicken was freshly cooked and fries were fine; Mac and cheese was still barely warm and very bland. I ate at this establishment when it first opened and it was not good; this was my second try...there will NOT be a third....VERY DISAPPOINTED.

We had Stacy as our server, friendly and checked back with us often throughout our meal. We ordered the bottomless chips and salsa, dangerously good. While we were sipping on our margaritas we noticed the place was quite busy and quite loud. Good place for family gatherings, kids seemed to be enjoying themselves. For entrees I had the quesadilla explosion salad and hubby had the old timers burger with a side salad. My salad was a very generous portion and citrus balsamic dressing was tangy, very good. Hubby said his burger and salad were tasty as well. Thanks for the excellent service Stacy and we will ask for you the next time we go!

This Chili's is newly-built and definitely has the smell and modern design that you would expect. The menu is your typical is chili menu great appetizers and the Cajun pasta is to die for. The servings are rather large so when I take the kids we usually end up splitting some of it. The wait staff is helpful and very attentive. They did emphasize the integration of the wraparound u-shaped bar as most a lot of the Chili's in Applebee's have. Great interior design!

I would like to welcome Chili's to our neighborhood. Our dinner was very good. The Country fried steak was delicious. I had the broccoli as my side and the vegetable was fresh. We also had the 3 for $10.99, we chose our drink, fries and bacon burger. Super good. All the waitstaff was super attentive and courteous. It is the best Chili's I've ever visited. I would like to recognize Maddi Romero, Chancellor and Erin for being extra attentive. All made us feel welcome and valued. Had a small issue with paying. Calculations were not matching menu prices. Overall, a good experience.

Checked in - gave my number They ended up giving my table away with 6 kids waiting for 30 minutes They have a 10 minute rule after an auto generated text message is sent so after waiting 30 minutes - i was told I had to wait another 30 minutes when we came to the door at 8 minute mark and our table was already given away Why not call before giving tables away or have a baseline timeframe that you're calling people when they have to wait for long periods of time

We have eaten here three times, and every time the food is really good. The service had been excellent and attentive. The restaurant has been pretty clean. We will definitely eat here again. It is one of the best Chili's we have eaten at.

Always great food and fast friendly services. Large portions enough to take home. Brisket Quesadillas were delicious.

Well well. I really wanted to have the best of hopes for a new chilis closer to home but after 12 minutes for a water at the bar. It didn't start off to well. We walked into a "30 minute wait " with 3 visible open booths so decided to sit at the bar! Thankfully it was clean and had some baseball on! So when we sat down we decided on ordering trio sampler because fried pickles sounded mmmm mm good. Only to find out, no fried pickles for me. They were all out! Anyways.... Lets chat about the service ... Two bartenders, and 7-10 servers they are covering the floor well- by attending to each table. Maybe not as often as you may like but they really are trying! Just be patient, and realize the personality ranges person to person and maybe you'll get one of the 2 with a little customer service skills. They may be a little rough to handle but I think that stems from the team not getting along with each other as you hear enough about how much they don't like each other in the kitchen.... As well as the little attitude over their ear pieces. Let's get back to that food, a Sante fe veggie burger and Buffalo bone in wings! Let's do this, nothing too difficult! They brought out the food to us. my boneless wings were bone in and this carnivore isn't doing that today, so they took those back to bring me the right order of bone in. As my friend was getting ready to dive into her Sante fe burger..... so, you see in the photos the sante fe burger looked great, until you see the sad little piece of avocado... thankfully our server noticed it and brought extra avocado for the burger to be a real Sante Fe style burger SHE MADE IT ALL BETTER..... Then she Brought out a smoking hot plate of Bone In Wings, fresh and hot out of the fryer, literally smoking! I was pumped about this meat, until my very first Bite into my wing, the chicken was undercooked. I spread the piece of chicken open to show the bartender and as we all gagged when we saw the pink meat of the chicken just there in front of us. . She took my plate quickly and went to order me a new plate but I decided at that point I wasn't hungry anymore.... Who knows, it maybe a new cook, maybe under staffed in kitchen, or maybe the fryer wasn't working right.... But it's Undercooked Chicken!! The bartender, Daisy was making sure to make it the best experience possible. She confronted the kitchen as the manger walked into and out of kitchen I really thought he'd come to check on us to see how he could make it right... ha, I thought wrong, he walked towards us only to turn away. And not even address us. Daisy thankfully apologies again and tries everything to give us a better experience, but let's just be honest .... Timing was poor, a little mix up on the order, undercooked chicken, and my water cup had some green stuff if it, but thankfully I just chocked that little part up to the dishwasher..... because The cup was still warm. So it was clean! (Plus I didn't notice it until I had taken a nice big swig already) So in short, I fasted for dinner tonight.

Well well bulverde, your chili's was a great spot to stop for lunch. Great decor and color palate. Our service was great, quick and polite. Our food was hot and tasty. The kids are up their meals and so did we. And this is on the approved bathroom list for sure. We will be back next time we are in the area for sure. A great family lunch spot.

I had an awesome experience at chillis. The environment was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. I ordered food togo with their amazing Togo specialist, Stephanie, and was in and out in no time.

Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the lady waiting on me though she made me feel very uncomfortable as I had to hear about her sob life story... Very odd and unprofessional... Yummy food though!..

We've dined at numerous Chilis for years...Our favorite appetizer is the chips / skillet queso. Unfortunately this location does not give you much queso at all. I've included a photo to illustrate how deep it is. I've also included a photo from a Chilis advertisement showing how much they normally include. I get the need to raise the price from $7.29 to $8.19 across all locations but don't dupe us into thinking this is an adequate amount. For a table of 3 you would need at least 3 small skillets compared to other locations in the past. It seems they all might be doing this to cut back. Not only that but our food was cold, had to be sent back. Refills never came and items were left off of main dishes (toast etc). This Bulverde location has been open long enough to have the kinks worked out. Friendly staff but cutting corners.

Chili's in Bulverde is consistently good with superior service. The hosts and waitresses have always been very kind during each of my 3 visits. The 3 for Me special is my go-to. Starting at $10.99, you get an drink, appetizer and an entree. The portions are large (see Cajun Chicken Pasta) and well-worth the price. The burger patty was thick, juicy and 100% beef. They have a kids menu, TVs, and a full bar. I'll definitely return for a 4th visit.

My husband and I had a late lunch yesterday and were pleased with the service, food, cost of our meal and the restaurant cleanliness. Darius and his fellow staff took well care of us. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

My friend and I come here often for lunch or to get take-out. We used to visit the local fast food chains. However, we found that for the same price, we can get a burger or chicken sandwich and fries for the same price. Not only that, the food tastes so much better and we don't have to wait in line at the busy drive-thru, we just order ahead on the app, check in when we get to the restaurant and they bring it right out. Doesn't get any better than that. Their mushroom swiss burger, chicken sandwich, fries and mini molten chocolate cake are to die for. Chili's is our new go-to for delicious food. The only take away is that if you sit in the bar area it is pretty loud but that's because people are having fun which is a good thing, lol.

This is a 5 Star Chili's! I have been here twice and both times were fantastic! It's clean! The staff is so friendly! The food was really good! This location is run by a top tier restaurant manager who teaches their team excellent customer service. Everyone is hard at work and so kind. The bartender makes fantastic drinks and he has such a positive attitude. Our waiter was great and very polite. The food runners were awesome. This was just an unexpected awesome experience! Great job to this team at chilis! The mini burgers were delicious and my stepson loved the fried mozzarella! Chips were delicious because the oil is fresh! The only constructive feedback would be the fried pickles had the peppercorns fried with them and it freaked the child out and then he wouldn't eat them, haha. We will be back!

Typical Chili's which is not a bad thing... staff is really working hard and the food is coming out hot and fast. This place will be booming for months!

I think it's lame you can't order a drink at the bar and drink it in the waiting area while you wait for your table. Update: someone commented on my review and said they can't keep a tab if we aren't seated. That is understandable, but that's not what I was referring to. I was saying we can't go up to the bar, order a drink, pay for it, and then drink it in the waiting area. I've been to a lot of places that do allow that. Most of the time it wouldn't bother me, but the day that I wrote this, we were quoted an hour and a half wait and we wanted to drink a margarita while we waited, but there were 5 of us and we couldn't all fit at the bar, and we really wouldn't want to take up the space and time there while we were waiting to drink one margarita anyway.

I ordered food to go for my family this evening on the app. My son's fajitas had no tortillas. My husband's and my chicken salad only had a couple of small pieces of chicken. Our spinach queso had mostly spinach and practically no cheese. I am very disappointed after paying over $70 for this meal.

Food & Service was wonderful ! The staff was very polite and made sure everyone was happy. The ambiance was good, this Chilies seems almost like a baby BJ's.

Got the brisket quesadilla last night at the bar. What there was of the meat was disgusting fat and I had to pull it out. My friend recommended the place and I was treating so I didn't want to complain. What a rip off though. Had a bit of his quesadilla that came with his chicken salad and it tasted like oil and no cheese was used. BIG disappointment. $50.00 later and I went home and ate.

I will never return. Four small pieces of Fajita meat that you can bounce off someone's head. This is how hard it was. Horrible looking plated appearance. It was not seasoned well either.

I will start this review by saying they are newly opened. Which is why I would not recommend this location for now. I hope service will improve soon. Arrived at 4:50 pm on a Wed. The place was packed! We were seated immediately. No one took our order for 15 min. Then it took about 30 min for our partial order to be received. After 10 min we asked about the missing entree. 20 min later it arrived after everyone's dishes were taken away. No one seems to have been assigned to our table. We did't get out of there until 6:05. They did comp us the late entree. We'll visit again in a few months after they work out the kinks.

WOW...food tasted just like chili's should. The service though. Just wow. Our serve was Zoe or Zoey but we also have 5 other people come to our table. My fiancé ordered shrimp and steak fajitas. It came out with chicken and shrimp. We let that go because we aren't people to complain but then I had to ask 3 people for a refill. Another person for Togo boxes and another person for our check.. the people behind us all got food expect 1. They never brought the ladies quesadilla but then charged her twice and she ended up getting it Togo because her family already ate and her son was starting to act up. Another table had to keep raising their hand for service. This place is just a mess with service. A lot of people standing around but so much wrong. Also what looked to be the manager was outside on his phone for the hour we were there.

Very fast service. At one time we had two people waiting on us. Had our drinks super fast. Food was served quick and accurate.

Still too new! Too many undedicated employees, calling in for being "sick"? Computer system down, toilets inoperative. Wait a few months to go back.

Very cool new Chili's! Even has Yuengling beer on draft! Wait was only 20 minutes to be sat, despite a full house. Waiters and waitresses were attentive and helping each other out. Given that it's a new Chili's, and visiting manager even came by our table to check on us. Even the young hostess was sporting a Smithson Valley High School FFA belt buckle, representing the local community. Definitely what I like to see!

Got an order through Uber Eats. They delivered well before expected time. $14 salad was sad and wilted. They placed hot item on top of cold so was all mush. Also-kids' pizza was pathetic.

Management sucks. They have served undercooked chicken multiple times. The atmosphere is great but management definitely needs to be reconsidered. Wouldn't recommend working there.

Went and tried this location tonight the waiter did not seem to care about anything the food tasted like it just came out of a can I would not recommend eating here at all everything was cold there was zero service and trying to Lee was a pain in the ass because there a stupid thing on the table wouldn't work don't waste your time at this place

I don't usually write the kind of reviews, but the Sirloin steak was nothing but grisly sinew, couldn't eat it. Ordered it medium and came medium rare. Mashed potatoes were cold. They did bring new potatoes. Had cream of potato soup that was watery and had 1 small potato in it. The whole meal was disappointing Server wasn't very attentive. I think my Chili's days are over.

We ordered Togo, and they were great. Deb was amazing!!! The restaurant had run out of cheddar bites which were required to fill out order. She waited for us to call our daughter and find out what to substitute, apologized multiple times and brought us drinks to make up for the extra wait. We truly felt like she cared.

My second time here. First time I had a bacon burger. It was good, give it 4 out of 5. My wife had the small sirloin. She liked it. Second time I had a grilled chicken sandwich. It was tasteless, give it a1out of 5. Fries are good, nice seasoning. Chips are real good. Thin and crisp. Salsa is so so. My wife had (today) the potato soup and turkey sandwich. She passed me the soup after a few bites. I didn't like it either. She said the sandwich was just okay. Since the place just recently opened we will go back in a month or so and I write an update to this request.

A fairly new establishment and I'm so happy it's here. This area needed something new and worth the money. I have always been a fan of chilis but their hasn't been a good one near me till now. Very polite young staff that never seems to just lounge around. This restaurant gets very busy around meal times but the short waits are worth it. I have yet to have an issue with the food and it is always getting better!

Ordered to go curbside. All cold. And this is supposed to be avocado sandwich but I get one tiny slice? Not worth it.. disappointed.

Always busy and usually dependable. However tonight, I'm sitting here now writing this. The experience was crap. Today is my nephew's birthday and he wanted to come here. Table for 6 we were seated promptly at 530 with no wait. Ordered chicken sandwich. Burger. Quesadilla and chicken fingers. Everything came out quickly except the chicken sandwich wasn't buffalo and the burger wasn't the bbq brisket. Identified it immediately and they were so nice to say keep those and we will get the correct ones out. 25 min later after the rest of the table was done it finally came out. Ridiculous. Horrible service as never once did the manager come out. Left our waitress hanging out to dry. Horrible management. Doubt we will be back and I'll be sure to let my friends and family know. Should've gone to Taco Bell at least there I know not to expect anything worthwhile.

Just picked up a HUGE catering order for some hungry baseball boys. The food was delicious, ready on time and packaged great for transport. The staff was very helpful and professional. Definitely hit a HOMERUN with the team meal. Ordered sliders, boneless wings, quesadillas & egg rolls.

The wait staff is trying hard in this new Chili's .....buuuuut, the kitchen lacks a mile! We are locals so we've been here twice and both times the food was undercooked ....southwest egg rolls are our one of our chilis favorites, and they are still in "dough" form when served both times, and we had to send asparagus back because it wasn't cooked, they "re-fired" it and brought it back 15 min after we were done eating...kitchen doo ok es not have it together at all.

Be prepared for service issues. They are still new and training. I did have a two for $25 special and the chips she said were free weren't free unless you sign up for their spam mail. Would be nice to know this in advance. The chips were good, the side salad was good. The chicken quesadias were fine until I bit in one and it was that tendon the cooks are supposed to cut out and throw away. Was kinda grocery and ruined my dinner. I ignore the slow waitress because of how busy they were.

The waitresses would come out from the back with huge trays on their shoulders and their chins very close to the food.....if their chin was that close their breath was on the food!!!! 5 out of 6 glasses the girl brought to our table was dirty......the replacements: 3 out of 5 was dirty!!!!! We went for lunch and arrived and set down at 1150 a.m. and at 1240 still no food on the table......
