Chill on Park

It was my first time trying this place, and it definitely won't be my last! I received excellent customer service from the young lady behind the counter, and I hope to see her my next visit! The ice cream was absolutely delicious.

10/10 ice cream and so many choices to choose from. Coffee Oreo and salted caramel truffle were truly so good. I can't wait to visit in store and get the full experience!

Chill on Park has THE best ice cream and pastries in town. I go here so often that I will still be updating with cups and pints of ice cream, but this is what I'm starting off with for now. They have a wide variety of ice cream flavors, cones, pies, and candies to choose from. On this particular morning, I had some of the My Grandma's Coffee Cake, which was moist, sweet, and flavorful. They actually keep a shot glass of water in the case to keep the cake from drying out. My favorite flavors of ice cream are the Extreme Chocolate and Salted Caramel Truffle. The chocolate is... very chocolatey and the salted caramel truffle has delicious chocolate covered caramel chunks in it. Also, while it is only a seasonal flavor, Pumpkin Oreo is also a top choice for me. It is also really easy to order from them on UberEats and Door Dash! Be sure to go here for any and all ice cream needs—I never go without a pint of Chill on Park ice cream in my freezer!

It’s hard to say anything negative about them. The staff is really welcoming and that part definitely does the difference. There is many ice creams places in Boston but Chill On Park makes the difference as they know how to welcome you, at least the lady that introduced us to the place. I believe she was the owner, I am not sure. She was genuine. The ice creams are extremely good and affordable, plus they have many flavors. It is a perfect spot for a family moment, a friends/professional reunion or simply a date. The place is well decorated and cozy. During sunny days, you can even enjoy sun coming right on your skin through the windows. Oh, one feedback maybe: the windows need some cleaning... Other than this tiny detail, I 100% advice that place!

The worker there was high and called my mother a b word because we asked her to serve us. I hope this place gets shut down

So good! 32 flavors of awesome. All kinds of different bowls cones tacos etc! Lots of places to sit and enjoy your treats. Dog treats and pre made Cakes and cookies also available.

This is a nice neighborhood favorite for many in the community. It was a beautiful place to make neighborly connections before COVID-19. Many times I saw officers and community members exchange warm greetings as they sat in the same space just to indulge in a Chill on Park treat. And though dining-in is no longer allowed at the moment-the take out service is still great. My family and I walk over to this ice cream parlor and enjoy the sweetness of Dorchester in every scoop of flavorful ice cream of our choice. We used to lean into the experience by dining-in and absorbing all the good vibes that Chill on Park has to offer, but now we find that it's just as fun eating our favorite dessert on the go. The ice cream makes the stroll back home that much sweeter (pun intended). 😉 🍦 🍨 🚶☺

I like this place. The ice cream is tasty. I feel they can do better with cleaning the sitting area, nothing major just dust in corners and a bit of a muggy odor. The serving and working area looks clean though. I'm glad I found this place! Also, if you haven't been in this area, parking on the street can a a challenge. There is a plaza across the street where you can park.

Cute ice cream shop with seating too. They have a nice assortment of flavors and toppings. They even sell Tipsy Scoop and dog ice cream pre-packaged in the freezer case. The chocolate chip cookie dough was good. The mint Oreo was a bit too minty for me. Both really creamy. Looking forward to trying some other flavors next time.

Delicious ice cream with the friendliest service! Chill on Park is a cute neighborhood shop with unique flavors. The ice cream is sweet and creamy. The owner was working when we stopped in and she let us try the seasonal favorites and some of her favorites. I love ice creams full of different textures and I loved the Graham Central Station and the Chocolate Sundae Cone. Yummy! Highly recommend stopping by Chill for a sweet treat!!

Normally my experience at chill on park is great, today...not so much. It had nothing to do with staff or cleanliness. Chill on park has amazing staff and the shop is spotless. my negative review is based on the fact that I was charged $15 for a large hot cappuccino with almond milk and a added flavor. For that cost you can buy 2-3 cappuccinos from the other neighborhood options. If you want delicious ice cream, this is the spot for you. If you want a coffee go to homestead or dunkin donuts.

Without a doubt the best frappe I've had in my life comes from this location. The cake batter flavor is heaven in my mouth and truly addicting. Tastes like very high quality ice cream too when I ordered a cone or a cup.

My husband and I visit this establishment very often. We always order a quart of bubble gum ice cream to eat while we watch out favorite show at least one a week. During one visit, I went in to order, the woman taking my order was especially intentional in making sure the container was filled to the brim. I mentioned how happy I was with her efforts, I asked her name. She said it was Wendy! I always look forward to seeing her because I know that I'll get my money's worth! My husband went in today to purchase out weekly quart and Wendy was not there . Needless to say, our container was not filled. It's quite disappointing and annoying. We live the Bubble gum ice cream and we will continue to visit, but we wish we can get a full container of ice cream.

The best ice cream next to ice cream smith. Fast delivery. Fast service. Nice people. Clean establishment. If you haven't stepped in here or got delivery, you're missing out. Whoever owns this spot, you're the best!

Amazing ice cream and frappes! Exactly what you need on these hot summer days. They have several flavors and the nice server even let me have two flavors in a small size. My only request is that in these COVID days when there are (appropriately) no samples available, it would be super helpful to have some description of the more esoteric flavors on the menu. I was thinking about a couple that sounded and looked good, but I didn't want to hold up a line by asking all about multiple flavors. Will definitely be back when in the area!

Small ice cream shop that you can easily miss! I came here on a weekday and it was pretty empty inside. The staff is friendly and will let you sample the ice cream before making a decision. The ice cream is a bit on the pricier side, but you should definitely give it a try if you are in the area!

Coming from the north shore of Boston, my standards for ice cream are HIGH. Once I moved to the city, I've been continually disappointed by the ice cream at every place I've tried. BUT Chill on Park just redeemed Boston's ice cream scene. They have SO many fun, creative and chunky flavors (ie Cookie Monster, chocolate raspberry truffle, Graham central station). While you might think you would get stressed by all of your choices, NEVER FEAR. They are incredibly friendly and offer you samples and suggestions from the minute you walk in. Even better, the prices are very reasonable for the size you get. (I had two large scoops for 4.80!) This place is a great stop for all of your sweet tooth needs!

Very nice ice cream! Lots of families here enjoying the place. An added bonus: no one sitting on crates! Just chairs. And stools.

First time customer & gotta say, fantastic ice cream experience! The woman behind the counter was unbelievably nice and kept offering us samples as we were so indecisive. Ending up leaving with more than we planned but can't say I'm mad about it will definitely be back!

Great ice cream, banana splits, and frappes! Especially recommend the frappes and banana splits! Also have met the owner and she is incredible- treats all the customers so well and works hard! Definitely recommend chill on park!

So my boyfriend got me started on their ice cream flavor Graham Central Station. Literally, AMAZING. Well we Uber Eats this often but today was by far the best batch I've ever had from there. Whoever made it, PROPS! Chocolate graham in almost every single bite. So bomb to the point it forced me to finally remember to write a deserved yelp review. Thanks guys!

The product they sell can be good but customer service is what keeps a customer. I have been dining at chill on park since the opening unfortunately I will no longer eat there due to prince-able. The only time I have complained about the serving size when I regularly go there and am familiar with it. I asked for one extra scoop of ice cream on my next visited after explaining and offered to pay for a two scoop as I usually get a three. The manager denied my request. Lost a customer over a scoop of ice cream.

I go to this place every once in a while to grab some ice cream when it's cheat day for my diet. The staff here is always very nice and they are super accommodating. You can really try a few flavors with no fuss and they always provide suggestions based on a quick conversation. The ice cream is a little on the expensive side but well worth it. Coffee oreo, oreo, or an ice cream sundae are usually my gotos here. They also have a little play area that is usually full of kids, but you can pop over and beat some kids in connect 4, bop it or whatever game they have. I am currently undefeated in connect 4, so if you come there, lose to me, and ice cream is on you :)

Walking past Chill on Park, it looks like your average ice cream shop. They have many flavors, toppings, and the option of making smoothies. However, this unassuming ice cream shop has some of the best and creative flavors out there. "That's a small?!" When you ask for a small, you think they are making a mistake when they pack it for you. Smoothies are the same way too. We got a bunch of different flavors when I was there. I would say my favorite was Graham Central Station, which was graham cracker ice cream with chocolate chips. I had never had graham cracker ice cream before but I am so glad I did. Delicious! Their cake batter is also a bit different, as their version has a swirl in it. Both flavors were delicious and you can sample as much as you'd like! You can get an old fashioned sundae, pick up some pints, buy a cake, or even buy some Fomu. If you are stuck at home, you can even get a sundae kit delivered!

Graham central station ice cream. Do it. You will not regret it. One of my fav ice cream spots in Boston. And one of the best ice cream flavors ice EVER had.

We came here late, the two employees were really friendly. They allowed us to sample as many as we'd like. I settled on a cone while, My daughter and sister got cups. Even though they closed at 9. When the clock struck 9 they began to clean up but they allowed us to finish out late night treat. The location is very clean, I will definitely be coming here again!

I'm usually not a salted caramel person but the salted caramel truffle from here might just change my mind. Creamy, flavorful and the perfect amount of chocolate caramel truffles throughout. The best tasting caramel ice cream I've ever tasted.

I love ice cream, but I'm not willing to eat just anybody's ice cream, though. I have been true to COP since it opened bc the ice cream is good, the serving sizes are generous, and the customer service is excellent. I also like that they are usually playing some amazing slow jams, so you can sing along to Whitney Houston and others as you enjoy your scoops. I am partial to caramel truffle, strawberry cheesecake, the pumpkin Oreo (seasonal), and I'm trying to eventually try the ice cream cake slices in the freezer. There's always next time! I like my ice cream local, so this place works for us.

Not only is the the one and only ice cream place within a 10 minute walk of Field's Corner, but it is also freaking amazing. 1) Portion sizes are VERY generous. I asked for a frappe and I think they gave me a thick 32 oz. Now, let me tell you that I am a frappe FIEND. My frappe ALWAYS get finished. But this time, I just couldn't slurp this one down. My mouth said "Yes" but my tummy said "No." My tummy won this round, but I'm ready for Round 2 in June 2018. 2) The employees here are so nice. Want to sample 14 flavors? Go right ahead. They probably wouldn't even hesitate. We even came back from a biking trip and they let us park our bikes in the store! And you cannot beat the prices! $3.25 for a "small" (which is really two ginormous scoops). What a bargain!

The ice cream is really good. But the customer service sucks I guess because of these young people when I went to get some ice cream I felt like I was being rushed out obviously the girl did not like her job I got the waffle cone with two scoops if you're going to charge me seven dollars for a con put some ice cream on it

Such good ice cream. It was fresh , no ice crystals. I went to Ben and Jerry's and there were so many ice crystals yuck. I look forward to coming back for more.

Definitely a great local spot. A cute little ice cream shop in the middle of the DOT near Fields Corner. Old school 90s hip hop was playing, the loving kind, not the gangster rap kind. Heavenly Hash was made up of all godly things. The swirl of marshmallow got my attention, but addition of nuts, chocolate chips, and terrific chocolate ice cream made this a hash of biblical proportions. Service was mainly no BS and no frills. I asked what was in the hash and instead of giving me a general description of what was in it (nuts, etc.) the kid behind the counter picked up the whole tub of ice cream and showed me the label which listed about 100 ingredients. If I actually wanted to read all of them it most likely would have melted by the time I was done. Great ice cream and well worthy of a stop if you're in the area.

This place was great! I had to satisfy my sweet tooth and wanted to try somewhere I hadn't been before. There are so many ice cream choices and they all looked delicious. The strawberry cheesecake grabbed my eye and that's what I got. They told me I could get two flavors. I was not sure what to get but a worker here made a suggestion and it turned out to be an excellent choice. It was the graham central station. Both flavors were good. I actually liked the graham central station the best. The place was nice inside and very clean. I will be back very soon to try more flavors. Make sure you get a rewards card!

Great place! The ice cream pie is awesome and perfect for a birthday. The owner, Wendy, was very accommodating and helpful. She even put Happy Birthday and my name on the pie. I highly recommend and will be going back!!

Very cute. Will definitely take my daughter here when im in the area. Very homey feel. I love it. Its been a while but i remember the staffs are really nice and personal. They always took the time to made sure i got what i wanted. The shakes are good. The variety of ice cream is just amazing!!! Support local!!

The Graham Cracker ice cream is absolute HEAVEN. I've never seen that flavor anywhere else and it has these sort of al dente chunks of chocolate-y grahamy stuff throughout. The staff is always sweet and attentive, the ice cream is great and there's a perfect range of flavor choices. The shakes are great, too. I really appreciate that they sell only local stufff...baked goods from Haley House (which are 100% delicious), the ice cream is made in Roslindale, they sell My Grandma's coffee cake from Hyde Park and they sell some vegan "ice cream" from FoMu in JP, which is actually really good. The decor is modern and it's always clean, with lots of flyers on a table about neighborhood stuff going on. This is a real good local place....my only concern is that it's not more crowded. Let's keep this great ice cream/coffee place in the neighborhood!

Hands down some of the best coffee I've had in a while! The atmosphere was super cute and cozy and they were playing 90s R&b so.... I'm sold! They have a rewards program, buy 10 get one free. The employees were also really nice!

Fields Corner really needed this. I love that it seems to be an independent ice cream parlor. The decor is appealing, it's very clean, the service is friendly & efficient and most of all the ice cream is quite good. It's a great place to relax, listen to the music, and enjoy your ice cream treat or coffee.

Chill on Park is an absolutely wonderful store. Their ice cream is delicious, their staff is friendly, and their mission of hiring local employees is much needed. It's great to see a local hang out spot that also gives back to its community.

I heard about chill on Park from a friend and decided to use them for catering an event at my business. I have to say that the variety of their products is outstanding as well as customer service. My purchases were a huge hit with my employees and I look forward to using chilling park in the future. Thank you once again for your excellent service.

The ice cream is delicious! As an added bonus, they offer the frequent customer card for folks like me who like to indulge anytime of year and anytime of day. My daughters also enjoy their sweet selection of choice from Chill on Park especially when the shop is visited by Cindy the librarian/storyteller.

Wonderful local neighborhood ice cream spot! I stopped by during the grand opening and grabbed a kitty sized chocolate chip ice cream. It was $3.15. I probably should've gotten a medium size as it was only a dollar more. I'll probably do that next time. The ice cream was fantastic! It was rich, smooth and creamy. Not to mention it had the perfect texture. I can't stand when a place sells hard ice cream that's all melt-y. Ick!! Chill on Park, you got my vote! I'll be back soon.

We spent a girls week in Boston and stopped in Chill almost every morning to start our morning with coffee and bagels. Nellie was so sweet and friendly. Greeted us like an old friend by the second day. By the last day we had filled our card for a free coffee, and we felt like we belonged. Just around the corner from the Red Line train stop at Field's Corner. Always meant to try the ice cream, but we were always too full when we returned each evening. Maybe next trip to Boston.....

The ice cream here is good! The service has gone down. The last time I bought ice cream there, the staff was not friendly. When I stopped by just about at closing time recently, they didn't even bother to answer the door to tell me they were closed, when I knocked at the window. With the advent of UberEats,Grubhub, and local smoothie places, I have other less expensive options as a consumer. You need to work harder to retain my business

90 degree day and this place locks its doors at 8:45 when I go to take my kids for ice cream, and the sign says 9 o'clock close. To make matters worse the employee stares at me through the door with a blank stare KNOWING he locked the door before closing. Unacceptable.

Found this Hidden Jem on a dreary rainy day, when an Ice Cream Sundae was all we wanted. It's so clean & bright inside. The staff were Friendly & pleasant . Got the hot fudge sundaes, they were excellent. Must try is their chocolate peanut butter flavor ! A bug plus to us, was they are 100% involved in this community.

A great and convenient place to grab a morning coffee. The owner is a very nice entrepreneur with a lot of enthusiasm. The decor is beautiful with very colorful decorative walls. I tried a yogurt smoothie and it was amazing. My girlfriend loves the place.
