My partner booked this restaurant for my birthday for dinner time.
Chimichurris is located in a main street but is low key from the outside. Once you come in, you can see all tables are full and that’s for a reason we soon found out.
Staff was welcoming and friendly, everyone speaks Spanish, which is a big + for us as it adds to the authenticity of the experience. We ordered in broken Spanish (love practicing when i can!!) and the staff really made me feel comfortable to be out of my comfort zone.
We ordered a sirloin and ribeye with a chimichurris fries and normal fries. The ribeye really stood out for its tenderness and juiciness. Flavour of the grill on top was there and we enjoyed every bite of it. Chimichurris fries are cooked with melting provolone cheese so we were not disappointed at all.
We also ordered their empanada con monzana for dessert with some ice cream, which came with a candle and everyone in the room sang along happy birthday.
When the bill came, we found out the dessert was on the house, which we did not expect at all!!! 🫶
It felt special, notably thanks to Tatiana, for her warmth, kindness and smile; she really made our night. I hope the management will recognise her super customer service to us 🙌
Overall, we recommend it, and Chimichurris just earned 2 new loyal customers. ☺️
