A little piece of Argentina in the heart of London
If you’re craving authentic Argentinian food, Chimichurris is an absolute must. From the first bite to the last sip, everything was spot on. The empanadas were baked to golden perfection — flaky on the outside and packed with flavorful, juicy filling on the inside. Just like back home.
The grilled sweetbreads (mollejas) were simply outstanding — crispy on the outside, tender and buttery on the inside, seasoned just right and topped with a touch of chimichurri. You could really taste the fire and grill, like a proper Argentine asado.
We also had two milanesas — one with fried egg and tomato, and another classic Napolitana-style with oregano. Both were generous in size and full of flavor. The fries (regular and sweet potato) were crunchy and delicious, a perfect side to every dish.
To pair with the meal, we had a Malbec from Kaiken (Mendoza), which matched beautifully with the food. Now, what really made the experience special was the team. A huge shoutout to Nico, the Argentinian chef, who’s an absolute legend — super friendly, passionate about what he does, and it shows in every dish. Also, our waiter and waitress were incredibly attentive, always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed, without being intrusive.
The Latin music playing in the background and the cozy yet vibrant vibe of the place made it even better. The portions, prices, and quality are all more than fair. I’ll definitely be coming back, and this place just made it to my go-to list when I want to impress someone with amazing food and great atmosphere.
