Google
Great interior design of Chinese style. The Zucchini & Shrimp Dumplings and Dry Pot Cauliflower tasted so delicious; highly recommended. China Blue Soup Dumplings was just fine, as the dumpling skin was quite thick and too soggy. The Fried Pork Intestine tasted good but quite pricey.

OMG, I have a wonderful and impressive birthday experience here and I love China Blue so much!!! They always provide us great food and service. I got the complimentary desserts today. The birthday candle is interesting and I could take it home. Servers were excellent. They sang birthday song for us together. Definitely I will come back!!

This place is truly one of the best Chinese Food restaurants in ALL of Dallas! Great staff, intimate environment! Try the Boiled Shrimp and Pork Dumplings with Chinese Chive! We are huge fans of the Stewed Chicken and Mushroom specialty...home cooked deliciousness....chewy flat glass noodle, potato shiitake mushroom stewed for what seemed like hours..... One of the best value restaurants for overall quality of food, experience, portion size and price. Solid Recommend!!!

Google
October 2024 Enjoyed this restaurant with different kind of Chinese cuisine. The honey glazed ribs were really delicious and tender. They do have some signature dishes recommended highly to try. The dumplings were always a little pricey.

Google
such a cool experience and was nearby where I worked so I stopped by for lunch. The food and the whole atmosphere was great!! I’m definitely coming back here and the workers are so kind and considerate! Left my phone by accident and a lady ran out to give it to me. Thank you for an amazing lunch and an amazing experience ❤️

Google
11/10 loved it! The staff are so nice and the atmosphere is so homey! I always come for the 少龙宝 (soup Dumplings) and it’s so good every time! We also got the crispy pork and the 生煎包 (fresh panfried dumplings) and they were amazing! Also recommend the Crispy Green beans with minced pork

Google
Ordered the sweet and sour fish, the combo dumpling and the pork with eggplant. The sweet and sour and dumplings were great . The batter on the fried pork was interesting it was sticky. The decor is nice.

Yelp
The food was delicious. There were a few things we enjoyed more than others. And most of the dishes were as authentic as can be in America. We had a very kind server who helped us choose our meal. She gave us free tastings of wine and complementary hot and sour soup. The ambience is very quaint and styled and an upper class Chinese restaurant We got the cucumber salad, the spicy wonton, sizzling, beef, hot and sour soup, green beans, soup, dumplings, and shrimp fried rice. Out of everything I just mentioned I thought the cucumber salad was spectacular, the hot and sour soup was worth its weight and the green beans were absolutely delicious. The other items I mentioned were good, but not something I think I would crave or go back to. We got a bottle of plum wine And it was absolutely divine.

Yelp
Solid place for soup dumplings and pan fried bottom buns. I also really like the cumin beef - tender, flavorful, and not too spicy. The salted egg tofu dish on the "new" menu was good too! We also tried a stewed chicken pot that I would skip, not very flavorful. Reasonably quick service and cook time just not enough people working if they're super busy. Very casual and a neat ambiance

Cindy C.

Yelp
I would give this place 4 - 4.5 stars as the food and service was good overall! We came to China Blue on a Friday evening for dinner and the restaurant was decently busy but not overly so. We were seated immediately and after we put in our order, the food came relatively quickly. Pretty much everything we got was quite delicious! The spicy wontons were flavorful and not super spicy (good for me as someone with a lower spice tolerance). The pan fried pork baos were perfectly crispy on the bottom with a nice juicy filling. The eggplant with minced meat was pretty standard for an eggplant dish at a Chinese restaurant but good nonetheless. Unfortunately, our only gripe was that we ordered the spicy fish with Chinese sauerkraut and they brought out the non-spicy version instead. Not a huge deal since we were totally okay with the non-spicy version and opted to not make a fuss out of it. Overall I would definitely come back in the future to try more of their dishes & dim sum!

Yelp
Good shrimp fried rice and sesame chicken. The zucchini and shrimp dumplings were good but they did not provide a sauce to go along with the dish. The ambiance is very nice and I'm sure additional dishes are good there, yet the service was not great. They told us the restaurant closes at 9:30 (and the kitchen closes at 9) even though on Google and on Yelp it says 10pm. They rushed us toward the end of the meal.

Sam R.

Yelp
This place was amazing and so nicely decorated! Service was quick and friendly. We had the combination dumplings and some of the China Blue soup dumplings. They were some of the best soup dumplings I have ever had! To top it off, it is located in a strip mall surrounded by other interesting places to explore.

Bianca D.

Yelp
Loved this place! Went for the buns, stayed for the vibes. Fresh and authentic Chinese food. Got the soup dumplings and the steamed buns and want to try their food soon.

Yelp
I am by no means a connoisseur of dumpling and bao but, these are good. In the mood for authentic Chinese I fired up the Yelp AI Quantifier and Bam...there it was. Fitting my screening criteria perfectly at 132 reviews with a 4.3 average. First of all,the atmosphere is great. Traditional Chinese design influence is found throughout including the tables and chairs. This is a big deal to me and can put a place on my go back list instantly. Service was urgent and friendly. Although I needed more time to digest the extensive menu,I wasn't forgotten and checked on often. The food was delicious and well prepared. Szechuan chicken was more a traditional preparation than I'm used to but excellent spice level and crunch. The pan fried spicy pork boa were perfect as were the blue China soup dumplings. Finally,I feel like the prices are good for 2024. I even added a lunch special of fried string beans to go for tomorrow. There were plenty of leftovers. There is no shortage of Asian restaurants in every shape and form in the Plano area these days. Fortunately Chinese is well represented and it would be interesting to start working my way through them. Until then with regard to Blue China ... Go!

Yelp
Super lovely place! The restroom was very cool with a smart mirror that added a high-tech touch to the place. The decor was also truly on another level. The wonton soup was super good--definitely food for the soul. It had so much depth and flavor, I could tell a lot of care went into making it. Our server was excellent. She was very efficient and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Her recommendations were spot on, and she clearly meant business in providing top-notch service.

Laura H.

Yelp
We are new to the area and wanted to try a new Chinese place. Everything looked so great in the pictures and the reviews were decent so we went with China Blue, but we were really disappointed. Everything was mediocre at best. We got orange chicken, beef flat noodles, walnut shrimp, combination fried rice, and soup dumplings. The orange chicken was very chewy. The beef flat noodles and combination fried rice lacked flavor. The walnut shrimp was overly coated with breading and drenched in sauce so it was very soggy, and the soup dumplings tasted off. Such a bummer because we really hoped it would be a hit! We won't be going back.

Heather H.

Yelp
The food was so good I recommend this place. Cone hungry because you're going to want to try everything. Ask your server what they recommend because they will give you some good suggestions

Troy P.

Yelp
The best Mongolian beef I've ever eaten. Really a wonderful interior to sweep you into the feel of China and its wonderful cuisine. The soup dumplings and hot & sour soup were also huge hits with our group.

Tammy D.

Yelp
This place is well located in another Plano plaza. Decor in there is super cute and I love how it looks. Service was good, our servers stopped by quite often to refill water and it was easy to ask them for anything else we needed. The food we ordered was subpar at best though :/ it was user error maybe since the items we picked just weren't to our liking. Honey walnut shrimp wasn't what I was looking for the batter was too much and not as crispy as other places. The drizzle on there had too much mayo and I wished the shrimp was tossed in the sauce instead. We ordered some spicy pan fried pork buns but the dough stuck to my teeth too much and I didn't like how they seasoned the pork filling. Also wished it was more crispy. The only things we really liked were the string beans and the spicy chili wontons. The wontons honestly weren't spicy but the flavor was everything! They have a very large menu and I'd love to try the other things. Hopefully next time I'll pick things that are more to my liking!

Yelp
I absolutely love it when a restaurant invests in a theme. China Blue truly ties together their food and culture, making it a lovely ambiance to experience. We tried several items on their menu. Each one was a hit and miss at the same time. We were comparing their style to another popular restaurant nearby. We ordered the Spicy Wonton appetizer. The sauce was delicious, obviously made in-house, full of cashews, peanuts, and cilantro, but the wontons were tiny (1"). It was like eating a chewy bite-sized sample. Next, we ordered the Beef Flat Noodles. To our surprise, it was a generous portion, definitely enough for two people. The hand pulled noodles were cooked perfectly! The beef was tender, the sprouts, and onions were fresh. It's definitely a mild bland dish. We added some of the sauce from the Spicy Wontons, drizzled it on top, and that made it perfect for us. We also tried the Walnut Shrimp. It was not worth $17.00. The plate presentation was showy. The sweet mayo sauce and candied walnuts were delicious -- but the shrimp were very small, 90% of what you see in my picture is batter and thats why they look huge. If you enjoy this style, you will love it. Our greatest test for any restaurant is Orange Chicken. If you're a fan of Orange Chicken from Panda Express, you will be thrilled with this dish. They serve a generous portion, enough for two people. Each nugget has a taste of chicken and a ton of batter. I may be wrong, but it tasted like a bag of frozen chicken nuggets dropped in a fryer. This Orange chicken did not pass our test as the best. Like I said, hit and miss at the same time.

Yelp
I preface this review with the following comment...as a frequent restaurant goer, I am aware of the posted hours of operation and generally avoid stopping in to order from an establishment in the closing hour. However not all patrons feel the same so enjoy at your own risk. Ha ha. Absolutely love China Blue's food but we recently took my mother in law to dinner, the service was horrendous. We arrived and were seated quickly. We felt rushed to order by the waiter as he just stood there while we looked over the menu. Since this was MIL's first visit, she needed time to review the menu. I ordered an appetizer just so she would have more time to look at the menu. We ordered the main dishes and the food came out shockingly fast as did the bill. The waiter handed us the bill with the food. I was shocked. I quickly checked the time thinking it had gotten away from us but the restaurant's posted business hours showed it was open for another hour. I also glanced around and noticed several tables still actively enjoying their food. About 15 minutes after we received our food, the restaurant was completely empty and the waiter was table side with to go boxes. I have never felt so unwelcome. We quickly packed up our food and headed to the car. They turning out the lights and heading out even though the posted business hours showed they were still open. Most bizarre experience to date. Bottom line - you will enjoy the food. It is fantastic. BUT go early and don't stay late.

Yelp
Heard a lot about this place, so had to try it out. I went with my family and, walking in, we were greeted by the friendly staff. I immediately noticed the nice decor, making it look upscale. When we were looking the large menu, our waitress recommended the Salt and Pepper fish, which turned out to be our favorite dish. The batter was light, not too salty, crispy, and not oily at all. The fish inside was still moist and flaky. Yum. The other dishes were delicious as well, from the dumplings, cucumber salad, and baos. Everything was plated beautifully as well. Best of all, while the atmosphere and food certainly were upscale, the prices were very reasonable. This place will definitely go into our rotation.

Yelp
Got together for a good friend's birthday at China Blue this past weekend. They made celebrating a birthday there such fun. They played the happy birthday song through the speaker system, provided a complimentary dessert that came with a birthday gadget on the dessert platter that pops open unexpectedly with lights and a birthday headpiece for the birthday girl! Special shoutout to our server Dalier who was so attentive and came by to offer to take pictures without us even asking! Will be choosing to celebrate more birthdays here.

Yelp
Wasn't too crazy about this place. We ordered the garlic box choy, salt and pepper fish, dry hot pot and eggplant with fried pork. Usually salt and pepper fish has a ton of fried chilies and onions on top but this didn't have a lot. I also didn't care for the packaging. Something deep fried shouldn't be in a Styrofoam container without any kind of lining. They did punch out holes in the corner but the container was still starting to melt. The bok choy was fine and had no complaints there. We also didn't care for the eggplant and pork dish. The pork was tender but the whole dish didn't have much of a flavor than just salty. The dry hot pot didn't wasn't very spicy, but did have a little numbing flavor to it which was good but we also just didn't care for it. It just felt greasy and didn't have that same addicting flavor that we love. But I think the biggest reason was when we ordered this food we were really disappointed it didn't come with any rice. I know some Indian restaurants might make the rice or naan extra, but I have yet to experience a Chinese restaurant that does this. I actually called just to see if that was a mistake or just how they do it. They told me that unfortunately that's how it is on UberEats. BUT, she said, if we do want rice, we can just write it in the comments that we want it for free and we will get some. Then why not just make it free for everyone? Why do I have to write it in the comments? It was just lame that after waiting for our food to be delivered, opening it up, we had to then spend 35 mins making rice on our own.

Yelp
This restaurant relieved my built-up craving for good Chinese food! We came as a group on Saturday evening and they had a lot of business - would recommend making a reservation for a large party or during a busy time. We shared several large dishes, and the standouts were: - special dry pot - savory and not TOO spicy! Contained beef, fish cake, shrimp, tripe, lotus root, potato, and I think bamboo shoot - salt and pepper squid - sauerkraut stew with meat - beef flat noodles - dumplings The staff were friendly and attentive, and we had a great time eating and hanging out here. I would definitely want to go back!

Kacie D.

Yelp
First impression: absolutely beautiful restaurant. I popped in cause a restaurant next door was closed (very rare of me to do this because I'm a research and scroll through photos before I go eat somewhere type of person). What I got: Menu is definitely on the pricier side. I ended up getting the beef noodle w/ tomato soup & spicy wontons. I really wanted the normal beef noodle soup, but they were out of the broth. Spicy wontons were cold/room temperature, not very spicy, and kinda sweet? The noodles itself was great - almost exactly what I was craving. The broth was just okay - missing something. Wish there was a bit more of bokchoy just for balance; but overall very good. Would come back to try other things. Service: Pretty solid - only complaint if I really had to nitpick would be my water was empty for like 15 minutes

Mary C.

Yelp
Ambiance is pretty nice. Please note that you have to make a reservation ahead of time. We did not know this . Even if we were there the day before asking about the shabu shabu, the lady did not say anything about making an "appointment". We had to come back. They should put this on their website . We did the eat all you can Shabu shabu. We did the combination soup, one beef broth and the other one mushroom. We liked the beef broth the most. The fatty beef was very good. The meat selection was very limited. So we just stuck with the fatty beef. We also ordered shrimp. Veggies and the other "sides" are also very limited. Only one dipping sauce, peanut sauce.

Sharilyn T.

Yelp
Delicious food, nice experience and good ambiance. I loved the experience of eating at the rotating round table because I went with my family and we ordered dishes to share with everyone.

Reynu S.

Yelp
The dishes here were hit or miss, and it's very expensive, so you need to really know what to order. The beef bone noodle soup and spicy pork intestines (pictured) were our absolute favorite dishes and we'd go back for them. A choy with garlic was quite tasty but the price felt too high and I would have said goodbye to my fiber fuel if I weren't with friends doing family style. The rest of food wasn't particularly anything to write home about. I've had better hot and sour soup and xiao long bao elsewhere for a better price.

Krista R.

Yelp
We always pass this shopping center going to Sugar Pine Creamery, but we've never ate at a restaurant in the shopping center. We, of course was going to SPC which is down the street on this particular day. I'm like lets go to the shopping center where Z Tao is and eat. China blue replaced Taste of China. Cute little place. We got the xlb, son got a soup, and daughter got flat noodles. I don't remember what exactly they got, but I know it all tasted good. We got the XLB. Decent tasting soup dumplings. Husband and I shared the house dry pot. The dry pot had a variety of things in it from shrimp to tripe. Lots of veggies. Love me some lotus roots. It was spicy and full of flavor!! I'm definitely coming back.

Mariejune D.

Yelp
Great fast service and food was awesome the food tasted so good .. and the soup dumplings are so juicy .. not bad for the price

Sarah H.

Yelp
My husband and I like to go to China Blue from time to time. The restaurant is certainly an experience and one of the better decorated Chinese restaurants within the DFW metroplex. Definitely instagram-worthy! Some of their dishes definitely have more of a fusion-style vibe to us, which my Chinese husband didn't like on our first visit. However, after returning a few times, we've found dishes that we enjoy. First, we love their Fuqi Feipian. It is definitely not what we traditionally expect with this dish, but the flavor is amazing! While it isn't what you'd get in Sichuan, the flavor and beef slices are still nice. We order this dish on every visit. We also love their Spicy Fried Pork Buns. These buns come out on a sizzling plate. They have a crispy bottom and a nice flavor. These are another go-to for us at China Blue. While we love them, we still have to add some chili oil for extra flavor. Another unique thing about China Blue is that they offer Plum Wine, which is not offered at many Chinese restaurants in the DFW. Plum Wine is often served in the bar scene in China. It is typically served in little shot glasses, which you can find in my pictures. So delicious! Overall, we've found that the dishes are a hit or miss for us. The dishes are never bad, but it has taken us a few visits to find several dishes that we love. And, while we love these certain dishes, they seem to have a fusion element to them. This is based on our experience with the dishes that we've tried, so I can't speak for every dish. I think this is a great starter spot for anyone wanting to venture away from Americanized Chinese food and have an entry into authentic Chinese flavors (depending on what you order). In addition, we've always had a good experience with the service.

Karissa S.

Yelp
I really wanted to like china blue but it missed the mark for me. Their pan friend pork buns were unbelievably greasy and the soup dumplings were just okay. The prices are high compared to competitors in plano and the newest addition in the dumpling game, 88bao over in frisco. The interior is thoughtfully designed, and that gave them an extra star. It truly is instagram worthy inside and makes you feel like you are somewhere more trendy than a strip mall. I won't be back but i am happy i gave it a shot!

Raymond C.

Yelp
Thoroughly impressed with China Blue!! Came here with some friends and it's yet another great Chinese option new to Plano! The restaurant was really well designed with muddy lighting and unique decor. The servers were nice but a bit slow to get us our check at the end. Food was really good! My favorite was surprisingly the cauliflower which had the perfect amount of seasoning on it. (Tasted like the seasoning you get on Chinese bbq skewers). Overall I would highly recommend and I will be back :)

Karla M.

Yelp
At a plaza with TONS of parking. Beautiful serving displays and seating. Delicious food. Service was great, and we are grateful to have arrived around dinner opening time, 5pm on a Saturday, because it did fill up quickly. We walked to the Asian supermarket afterwards in the same plaza for a few things. Tons of great dessert options around here for after trying the few restaurants. Can't wait to be back. The buns and Beef Flat Noodle dish --both amazing and just sweet enough. The noodles were greasy of course, but we shared that with the whole table. We got lots of buns--I prefer mostly the regular (just steamed) buns but I like having the other options available. Pan fried, etc. Neat, clean, and authentic atmosphere.

Foodie Y.

Yelp
Food was good, portions fair for the price! One of the best soup dumplings I've had! Place was clean and modern. Lots of parking. Only complaint is poor service, they rarely come to check on you to see if you want to order anything else or refill your water. So, probably best to order everything up front. Real star count is 4.5 because of that, but I would personally go back just for the food.

George F.

Yelp
I wanna give 4.5 for excellent service, wonderful dining environment, and gorgeous foods! -0.5 for some dirty cups. Overall, it's pretty good!

Jaqueline G.

Yelp
So good! Came on a Friday night for a later dinner. Nice atmosphere, good crowd and we didn't have to wait too long to be seated. We tried the soup dumplings, pan fried spicy pork dumplings, edamame, egg drop soup, & a noodle! All good came out hot, delicious, and in good time. Will be back to try more soon!

Ryan N.

Yelp
Parking: It's located in a strip mall, so plenty of free parking. Interior: Visually appealing, Asian-inspired decor inside. Service: It was a bit slow but perfectly understandable since there were only 2 waitstaff the night that i went. I had to get their attention to obtain something as simple as soup spoons and chopsticks. Food: Excellent! The xialongbao (soup dumplings) had plenty of meat - but the tradeoff was lack of broth since the meat took up so much space. The egg drop soup was fairly big for the large size - enough for 4 people if each person was to eat a single serving. Easily one of the best I've had! Drinks: They have soju! Yay! And the pot of hot green tea was wonderfully fragrant and soothing! Takeaway: Make reservations because there was a waitlist when my spouse and I went on a Saturday night! And the interior design is sophisticated enough to turn your visit to a date night! I can't wait to come back and treat other items on the menu! Two thumbs up for me!

Terry M.

Yelp
The dumplings were great and so was the service. The dumplings were moist and tender I loved the chicken !!!

Shreya C.

Yelp
Came here for lunch today and it did not disappoint. The ambience is quite cute and gives you a feel like you are in Chinatown. We got the dumpling sampler which was a mix of pork dumplings, chicken dumplings and veg dumplings. The veg dumplings were okay but the other two were really good. We also got the spring rolls and those were absolutely delicious. Crisp and flavourful. For mains, we got the salt and pepper fish and Sichuan boiled fish. The salt and pepper fish was really good and hit all the right spots. Crisp, good seasoning and melt in the mouth fish. The sichuan boiled fish was also very good but I've had better. They do charge $1.50 extra for a side of rice, the mains don't come with it. Service was prompt and the lady serving us nicely answered our questions and gave good recommendations. Will definitely visit again.

Liz G.

Yelp
We are always on the lookout for great dumplings and reasonably priced authentic Chinese food. I asked a friend for a recommendation, and she named China Blue about the same time it popped up as a Yelp recommendation. For a Saturday night, they weren't crowded and service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) were huge and delicious. I love that they have the black vinegar right there on the table. The soft shell crab was crispy and, again, a very generous portion.

Rachel J.

Yelp
The food was very disappointing, especially the soup dumpling, but I'm willing to give the restaurant another try because of the amazing atmosphere and service! The soup dumpling barely had soup in the bun, and the orange chicken was not full and juicy like I've had it elsewhere.

Shelley F.

Yelp
China Blue is one of the most beautiful Chinese restaurants I've been to in the DFW area. The interior boasts a contemporary approach to Chinese design, combining traditional elements with modern aesthetics. The presentation of the food and the dinnerware were also very appealing to the eyes. The food itself was pretty solid. However, I would have given this place 5 stars had it not been for the dumplings and baos. (Ironic considering they are titular menu items...) -Champion Spicy Chicken: Big portion and delightfully crispy chicken! It wasn't really that spicy though - mines had a sweet glaze on top, reminiscent more of sweet and sour type of sauce. I guess I was expecting something more similar to Sichuan style fried chicken, which is tossed in a dry spice mixture vs a sticky sweet sauce. Regardless, the dish still tasted very good. (4.5/5) -Spicy Smoked Pork: phenomenal smoky, wok-hei flavor. Pork was nice and tender; flavorful, but not too spicy. I didn't care for all the green peppers though, but it is not a big deal. (4.5/5) -Xiaolongbao: I liked the presentation stand and the fact that you get 8 dumplings instead of the typical serving size of 6. However, my biggest complaint is that there wasn't enough soup inside the dumplings. Xiaolongbao usually have a "Hershey kiss" shape because of all the soup jello that liquifies when they are cooked. The skin was also too thin as it was challenging to pick them up without breaking. The filling tasted too meaty; I could not taste the typical aromatics like green onions or ginger that balances out the pork flavor. I'm not sure if perhaps it was an off-day in the kitchen, or a new chef, because other Yelper's pictures of the xiaolongbao have the "Hershey kiss" shape I mentioned. Either way, this makes me believe that there are some inconsistency issues (3/5). -House Signature Pork Buns: similar issue to the xiaolongbao; the filling is too meaty and not enough vegetables/aromatics to balance the flavors. The dough seems to be same as the dumpling dough. As such, these are just bigger dumplings. I was expecting a fluffier, yeasted dough, typical of Chinese baos. (2.5/5). Overall - I would still recommend this place to people and go again. Customer service was great.

Larry L.

Yelp
Original plans were to try Liuyishou hotpot next door but their lines took long. Luckily, China Blue was only a few doors down in this Asian strip mall off Coit and Park, and the atmosphere looked inviting enough to try. They had a solid selection of soup, noodles, dumplings offerings. Wait Staff recommended fish with Chinese sauerkraut (lightly pickled mustard greens with poached white fish in a fine broth)...all-around delicious. Pro Tip: Asian restaurants (IMHO) that provide complimentary rice (red container in photo) is usually a sign that food is gonna be good (like First Chinese BBQ). Their pork and shrimp chive potstickers were really good too. Service was great and they were helpful, never rushed us, and are bilingual and forgiving of ABC's with choppy Mandarin

Sharbani M.

Yelp
Love their friend rice and pretty much any chicken preparation. Also their dumplings are delicious! Their staff is helpful and quick! Also I like their decor too. This is our go to Chinese food place.

Keith H.

Yelp
Food = really Service = typical of a Chinese restaurant. Fast to get food... hard to flag someone down for the check Ambience = place is clean which is all you need

Lauren R.

Yelp
Definitely a good Chinese place. The food came out very quickly and the service was great as well. I had the orange chicken with steamed rice and some of the pan fried pork buns. Definitely don't skip out on the dim sum. Also the portion sizes are great for the cost. Chinese leftovers are always my favorite.

Tony D.

Yelp
Massive portions, pleasing designs, tasty veggies The meat and veggies dish pictured is fantastic! tender and balanced. String beans was LAYERED with garlic and was straight flavor town. It was plenty for a party of 4. Dumplings were pretty weak. Skin was thicker than I would like. Beef Fried Noodle: massive size, felt kinda soulless to me.

Gabriel W.

Yelp
I came with my family on a Thursday night to attempt to eat their hot pot. They have a specialty winter menu with their Northern China Style Hot Pot. This is a secret menu only available for weekdays at $24.99/ person AYCE. However when we asked our server for it, she informed us that you have to reserve in advance and that they were all out for tonight, and all of next week. We instead tried to order dishes with rice. We tried their house special dry pot and it was my favorite. They let you adjust the spicy level on the dish and it was still really flavorful. We enjoyed all of our dishes we ordered. We also ordered a the house fried bao and it was alright. Having been to a lot of specialty bao places that dish wasn't any special. The atmosphere is very well done. It has a very immersive feel and the server are nice. I would recommend 10/10

Bodin K.

Yelp
I saw this new place open, since I frequent this plaza every now and then. Curiosity got me wanting to try it, and they delivered. First off, I will say their dry pot entree is probably the best one I've had in dfw so far. The flavor was amazing and at many dry pot places, the meat ends up overcooked, but not here. The meat was PERFECT here. Everything juicy and tender even on the flame that they serve it on. I got the beef dry pot and added intestines. The pan fried buns were also spectacular. I also tried the soup dumplings which were good, but not the best I've had. I cannot wait to try more of their menu soon.

Yelp
Stars based on food. Is rice included with dishes you order or is rice extra? I did not receive rice with my To go order but they told me that rice is extra but there is no pricing listed for steamed rice.

Yelp
The restaurant is really cute! It feels like you've stepped into another country! One of the cutest Chinese restaurants I've been to! We had a late dinner here (8:30 PM) on a Saturday evening. There was not a need for any reservations. The food itself was good, but not one of the top chili chicken dishes I've had. The portions were very generous. The waitstaff were present if you asked for refills, but otherwise left you alone. The dumplings were good! But otherwise nothing special!

Yelp
China blue is a fast, cozy, street-like restaurant in Plano. I very much enjoyed my time here. The staff is super fast and friendly, a personality the is very accepting like mom and pop. Price wise, it wasn't too bad! The food was really really good. Some noteworthy must tries, the spicy peanut noodles, eggplant with string beans and the sichuan fish.

Yelp
Excellent Chinese food in DFW. We came here after my husband read Brian Reinhart's review of this place. We are both Chinese. We really liked the place. We recognized our server who evidently also works at li min dim sum, a place we go to all the time. We got: Jingjiang duo si: it was awesome!!! Cooked well and not too salty. Came with thin wraps Skillet pan fried bao: sooo yummy with perfect filling Spicy cabbage: was pretty good Pork with potatoes stew: didn't like this bc potatoes undercooked. Overall wonderful with really good lighting at the tables. It has nice date night vibe too

Yelp
Came with a party of three for dinner as walk-ins and were seated right away! We ordered a couple dishes to share. I really liked the mushroom and chicken stew. I wish my spicy wontons were a little bit more spicy, even after I added chili oil it wasn't very hot. Overall I had a really great time!
