This location stands out for its value and generous portions. Customers frequently praise the affordability, with a popular takeout box often priced around $11–$12, packed so full it’s sometimes stapled shut. The menu features classic American-Chinese dishes like fried rice, honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and egg rolls. The atmosphere is casual, but the quick service and friendly staff keep people coming back. It’s a go-to for locals craving a fast, filling meal, especially for takeout. They’re open late (until 9:30 PM or 10:30 PM depending on the day) and even busy on holidays like Christmas, showing their reliability.

Google
Food was amazing. Portion are huge for the price always a plus. Don’t get me wrong place is a hole in the wall (usually the best spots ). My only reason for 4 stars and not five. Is I can’t 100% say this place is clean maybe just me but still great spot to eat and great price.

Google
Not the best but not the worst. They get 5 stars for customer service and portions. I have ordered from this location twice. On each visit a few chicken pieces were cooked well, some were tough. The sauces are flavorful! However, the lo mein gets a rating of 2 and fried rice 3. I will go back for the honey chicken. Many fast-food Chinese restaurants don’t have it on their menu. Overall, I’ll give this place a solid 4. I love great customer service, a clean establishment, and good food. Hopefully, next time the consistency of the chicken will be the same throughout.

At first I thought the reviews were just exaggeration, but I went and tried it myself and the hype is real. The food was fresh. It tasted almost like it was made for order. The customer service was fantastic. Both of the people in here were extremely polite. Last but not least, the portions were huge. My plate was literally beginning to bend because of how much food she packed in it. That was the largest portion of food I’ve ever had from a Chinese takeaway. They also included a complimentary chicken stick as well. I’ll definitely come back here with the family.

Google
Amazing! My husband and I tried it last night. We are both from the East Coast and have been in TX for the last 2 years. We were starting to give up on finding a good Chinese food restaurant here, thankfully we stumbled on this place. Portions are PLENTIFUL, and flavor is AMAZING! It’s not East Coast Chinese however it’s our new Go to spot. Definitely going again. And the price was great we both ate and had leftovers for $24.

Google
This place is so good and very affordable. The staff are super kind and helpful. My family and I never felt rushed when deciding what to pick. There's a large variety of dishes and beverages to choose from. The little gacha machine is super adorable too. Portions are large, and with two 2-entree meals, my family of 5 can all eat a decent amount.

Google
Usually I never had a problem for over a year that I was coming here, Was almost finished but just now I bit into some kind of piece of sharp metal in my teriyaki chicken (it hurt). I am hoping there weren't other pieces that made it past me unnoticed. Will not come back here ever again.

Google
Absolutely outstanding! Y'all gotta come here now! Best value for Chinese food in DFW hands down. Food great too.

Yelp
Great prices, friendly staff, and good food as a fast food Chinese to go. I had to feed a team so I loved they offered party trays without ordering ahead. Plates and utensils included. I will definitely come again when we are back in town.

Yelp
They're open on Christmas. I was shocked by how packed the restaurant was. Service was fast and friendly. The fried rice tasted better than my last two visits. The chicken options are always decent but could be better. The staff keeps the establishment clean.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE this place!! The people that work here are always so friendly, the place itself is always clean and the food is always great! Tonight we got a quart of egg drop soup, a combination plate with half fried rice/half lo mein, an egg roll, orange chicken, and teriyaki chicken. The portion sizes are HUGE, as one plate can easily be shared by two people, and the price is great. Love this place!

Yelp
This place is an amazing value! For $12 I got a to go box so full she had to staple it shut. The fried rice, honey chicken, and sweet and sour chicken were excellent. The egg roll was the star of the show for me! I will most certainly be back for more.

Yelp
This is a standard affair chinese takeout spot. The staff are super friendly and the price is very good, relative to the portion size. The food is what you would expect. I noticed the black pepper shrimp was too salty to my liking. You won't get surprised by coming here.

Crystal M.

Yelp
Food was disgusting. Spicy Orange chicken tasted as if it was old chicken. "Fried rice" was just white rice mixed with whatever to make it orange. Chowmein didn't even look good to begin with. Wasted $70 something dollars for my family to have dinner tonight. Never again will I make the mistake of going to this place.

Yelp
If you are looking to get two meals for the price of one, while also hoping to dine on decent Chinese food, this is the place for you. They load you up with whichever entree you choose plus they give you a healthy portion of a side and a spring roll! Food is pretty good but the service is great, so yeah I'm coming back here again in the future. And it's cheaper and maybe even better than Panda E!
google avatar

Dale B.

Yelp
If your into a fast ,not so hot ,take home and reheat turn this place is for you . They also have a small selection of items you can browse around and buy . For me I like fresh and hot food and will not be going back .

John Michael D.

Yelp
Large PORTIONS, delicious and made by real authentic people, I would come here again expect to not do much after eating but a nice nap haha.
google avatar

Danie L.

Yelp
I went 30 minutes before they closed. It's a small restaurant with a food line like Panda Express. I ordered the combo plate to go. The lady that served me was kind as I asked her questions about the food. I chose the fried rice, honey chicken, and kung pao chicken with a spring roll. The portion sizes were enormous and the food was good. The prices were very reasonable as well.

Kelsey R.

Yelp
Wonderful service. Great bang for your buck. Portions and prices are out of this world. The food tasted great. It was enough for my friend and I to share, and then for her to eat for lunch the next day.
google avatar

Reed M.

Yelp
The food was mediocre.. had better Chinese from a mall food court. The orange chicken had 0 orange flavor at all and the breading was not done well. The spicy chicken wasn't spicy. I assume this place is only popular because of the portion sizes. If you are looking for quality Chinese this isn't the place, but if you are just looking to shovel a bunch of food in your mouth for cheap, this is for you. The place was clean and the staff was nice though.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
price and large amount of food is the only positive thing here- food is bad, kept warm on warming table and not rotated quick enough to be good. This is local bad version of Panda. Place is clean and employees nice.

Jojo T.

Yelp
Service is good. Portions is more then what other give BUT the food is too oily. Literally soak with oil in the noodles and the meat is too well done and so as the shrimp. They have to take it easy on the sauce as is too salty. I went in there a couple of times and I don't go there anymore. If you want to watch out for your salt intake and oil . This is not the right place for you. Especially if you have high blood pressure.

Ana S.

Yelp
I am not a fan of Panda Express their orange chicken is bad but China Express Orange chicken is the best! They never disappoint.

Gabriel W.

Yelp
Portions were the best I've ever seen. The quality of the food was the worst I've ever had. It was gross, and my chicken was cold in parts.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Good tasting, good prices, huge servings and very nice workers. A hidden gem in the DFW area, reminds me of the old Chinese spots I use to frequent back in Los Angeles late at night in high school.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
This is a lot of food for the amount you spend. Flavors are great. Very quick and nice staff.

Jack B.

Yelp
Decent Chinese for the area, very well priced and good service. Great for takeout after a long day

Yelp
I was driving in the vicinity of a FW restaurant I enjoy called Esperanza's... so I picked up my cellphone to call in an order, but I was placed on hold... no biggie I thought, but as I traveled through traffic lights realizing that I've sat on hold for an abnormally amount of time (not normal)... I turn my head towards the strip mall to the right and saw a Chinese restaurant... I thought to myself maybe I should go for Chinese. I checked the YELP reviews which seemed positive so I hung up on Esperanzas and called the Chinese place to place an order. I called from the parking lot across the street... They said 5 minutes... It took me that long to drive across the street to pick up my order. I entered... walked towards the register and introduced myself. I saw my order on a piece of paper next to the register being handed over to another fella behind a bank of covered heat lamps with a plethora of varied Chinese staple food (like you see at the food court in the mall). He started scooping the fried rice from under one of the heat lamps into a styrofoam container. He then started piling orange chicken on top of the rice. I thought to myself... my order wasn't specifically made for me... why did they say 5 minutes??? ODD, I thought, but headed back to my car because YELP reviews were favorable. I drive out of their little parking back to the lot I was across the street. I break out a fork... open the container to take my first bite. But first let me say this... I have no qualms about how each Chinese restaurant puts their own spin on how they prepare their food; especially my favorite: orange chicken. Most styles have been favorable IMHO, but NOT THIS! We'll... there's no real good way to transition here, but go straight to the facts. Factors I'm rating are: Temperature Flavor Texture Portion size Friendliness of staff Price TEMPERATURE -The rice was not hot (remember the heat lamp?). -The orange chicken was warm (can you say heat lamps???) FLAVOR Everybody knows there is supposed to be a little heat added to its flavor of the savory orange sauce. NOPE!!! Not this one... This wasn't the normal spicy orange flavor I'm accustomed nor was it any version I've ever had. Their "orange flavoring" version consisted of some sort of "glazed sweetener" which presents itself to look like "normal orange chicken," but NOPE!!! TEXTURE of chicken- Some chunks of this "chicken" were crunchy while other bites were very chewy like I was chewing cheap jerky covered in some sort of sweet sauce. TEXTURE of rice- Rice was mostly cooked, but mixed-in was several grains of uncooked rice. Biting into uncooked rice is similar to biting into a metal toothpicks... unknowingly & unexpectedly. Imagine that for a second... biting into metal toothpicks. PORTION SIZE Generous... imagine that??? I'd try to get rid of this stuff too. STAFF Very nice because they got my money. PRICE I paid $11.50 I DON'T recommend this place (or will I go back) because the food wasn't (NOT) made to order, fresh, hot, or tasty... and they used what appeared to be cheap meat. The above is my opinion.m if this experience.

Yelp
WOW if you are a hungry college kid like me and want a lot of food for cheap this is the place to go. I think for $8 I got this heaping mound of food plus complimentary chicken skewers and an egg roll. The service was extremely fast and quality is not that bad !!! This place SCHMACKS.

Yelp
THIS LOCATION is the FRESHEST, CLEANEST, friendliest Chinese food spot. They have A LOT OF CUSTOMERS which equals to FRESHER FOOD. 3 in the front and two in the kitchen. The chef is great. FOOD PORTIONS ARE H U G E you definitely get your moneys worth, I don't care how much they increase their prices, as long as the PORTIONS stay the same. & if you don't want that food that's there, order off their menu, it's fresh and delicious. Thank you to them, I've worked in the same business strip for 5 years. They feed the working class, medical district, TCU district, families, friends, you and me. I love this place.
google avatar

Pita S.

Yelp
Lots of food for a decent price. Be prepared to have leftovers. Staff is very quick!
google avatar

Torri H.

Yelp
It looked delicious but where the food was premade and sitting out already, it didn't taste fresh at all. No one in my party was happy with their meals.

Stan N.

Yelp
Very good value for your money and the taste is pretty authentic. Good for mainly carryout but they do have tables if you want to dine-in.
google avatar

Ryne T.

Yelp
This is one of the places you see on social media where the load the container so much you don't think they'll be able to shut it. The food is good, it won't blow your mind, but for $11 you'll get at least 2 meals out of it.
google avatar

Cody N.

Yelp
I get raising prices due to Covid or inflation -- but both have pretty much subsided. They've raised their prices four times within two years. The last increase was December and then this past month where one entree is nearly $10.81. Earlier this month it was $9.41...before, almost $8...with the first increase to $6. Yeah I can definitely understand the need to raise prices but food costs and supply chain issues aren't issues like they were a year ago. Continuing to raise prices instead of ebbing and flowing with inflation is unethical. Disappointed in what is starting to come across as greedy. :(

Yelp
The definition of a hole in the wall was a great find during these hard times. If all places would follow suit to what this place has done to make you feel comfortable ordering and eating here, they would get more business! The food is so much better than any Chinese food in Burleson or Alvarado and I will dine here again next time I crave Chinese. The beef broccoli was perfect and the Pepper shrimp with zucchini was also. Hands down the Best! Keep up the good work! I should have took pic b4 I ate out of it twice and this is left and cold and I'm going to eat tomorrow!
google avatar

Lynne C.

Yelp
Super satisfied with my experience with China Express! First time and will definitely come back!! Food is laid out behind glass partitions similar to Panda Express but the kicker is portion sizes are HUGE and it definitely doesn't taste bland or over salted. I got the shrimp fried rice and some Kung pao chicken with some fried crab Rangoon's for pickup. By the time I got there, maybe 10 min after I called, it was boxed and ready. Food was flavorful, definitely hit the spot, and didn't taste oily or what you would typically find at a Chinese buffet. Glad I tried this hole in the wall!
google avatar

Cal M.

Yelp
good portions wow broccoli n beef very good teriyaki chicken was so so chow mein was nice

Jeremiah M.

Yelp
i love this place, they give the best chinese food ever, they also give more food to save for later, it sooooooooooo good and i can't help it i am so obsesssd whit this place.
google avatar

Katie N.

Yelp
This place is so. good. The food is delicious and CHEAP. They fill the takeout containers so full that I'm pretty sure it violates the laws of physics... best bang for your buck I've EVER had. The service is really fast and friendly... would give 6 stars if I could!
google avatar

Chelsea Chee C.

Yelp
I love China express. They never disappoint, majority of the places we go to we have to wait on the orange chicken because it's always gone. But here it is always ready. You get a lot of food for what you pay. An option of chicken-on-a-stick or egg roll comes with every order
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
Not good at all. Food all pre cooked and soggy.Dining room closed.Prices 30% higher than the menu's here. Don't waste your time or money.

Irma S.

Yelp
Was iffy about getting food based on the reviews. Yes they give you a VERY good amount they load up the plates, downside is the food is not fresh or very tasty. The place was very busy with customers so some people might think the food is great. Me personally-- I like hot fresh food. Nice employees. COVID precautions in place.

Cari I.

Yelp
Sweet and sour chicken was all batter. Didn't taste like anything and egg drop soup had zero flavor

jake p.

Yelp
This place is awesome!! They give you so much food and it taste great, for a low price! I am an avid Oriental connoisseur and I most definitely recommend giving this a try. Enjoy!
google avatar

Tyra M.

Yelp
Worst steamed dumplings EVER!!! I could taste the freezer burn on them. -10 out 10. Do not recommend.

Daniela S.

Yelp
I can smell the food when I enter...and let me just say. Damn it smells good.. even the food tastes good!
google avatar

Mariah H.

Yelp
Its amazing - The price for the portion sizes, The taste, The customer service, The atmosphere. They do a really great job in creating a wholesome experience for their customers and I really appreciate that because it's something that you don't find often. Thank you!
google avatar

Pancho A.

Yelp
Not a bad place you can tell its ran by a young couple. its located near the TCU area off west berry and they give you a discount for being a student and you get allot for what you pay. only problem is the temperature inside the place is always hot or humid and the food is either bleh with not much flavor and its greasy. so you either hate it or love it but you get allot for you're buck and its good. TRY IT
google avatar

Thomas C.

Yelp
Take out only. Food was great with HUGE portions and an incredibly affordable price. Will definitely be visiting again soon!
google avatar

Maria A.

Yelp
My family and I LOVE this place! We are a family of 7 so when we order take out we get the Family Platter. The server will add so much we always have left overs! The price is perfect for so much food and it taste really good! I recommend this place for big families on a budget. Try their hot and sour soup. Not many places make it this good.

dkj 8.

Yelp
The amount of food you get for the price is unbelievable. I swear it is enough to feed a family of four. And it's actually good unlike Panda Express. If you are looking for a food coma from Chinese food for under $10 go here.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
If you like Panda Express, you'll love this restaurant, it was your typical Chinese fast food options but with much more flavor than Panda Express. Also the portions were enormous, I had enough food for two meals, and the prices were great. In the future I'll be coming to this spot instead of Panda when I get the taste for some Chinese fast food.
google avatar

Beverly A.

Yelp
I looked up "Chinese food near me" on Yelp while in the Fort Worth area and saw that this place had great reviews. While I am not overall disappointed, I do not believe that this is a 5/5 restaurant yet because the fried rice is not like your typical American style Chinese fried rice that you find at buffets. It was quite bland and really disappointing. However, the chicken stick was flavorful and so was the hot and spicy chicken. The teriyaki chicken is also pretty good. I didn't not like the egg rolls though but egg rolls are a hit or miss kind of thing; only certain places make them just right. In all, I got a LOT of food for very cheap. They are not stingy at all and practically overfill your to-go plate but charge you so little for it. I recommend this place for a nice lunch/dinner takeout joint. Just do not go with extremely high expectations and you'll be just fine.

Adam B.

Yelp
the food was splended and the service was great one issue some of the foods in the buffet were a little cold. but the food overall was amazing and i definitely plan to come back
google avatar

Colleen G.

Yelp
Gross food. It was old and tasted like burned oil. First time trying them and my last.
google avatar

Melanie H.

Yelp
This food was so nasty. The egg roll was not fully cooked. Will definitely not be coming back.
