My new Chinese food spot. The food was really good and fresh. It’s hard to find good Chinese food now but this place was a 10/10

The food is amazing and extremely affordable. The guy at the counter is extremely kind and nice. Beautiful decorations. Bought vegetable fried rice and shrimp lo mein for only 16$!!! This place is the best. If you can you have to go to China wok. (Edit) Gave me so much food in one box have enough food for breakfast lunch and dinner for three days.😁

Ordered through doordash and was debating on rather or not to post it but I found worms in the broccoli and chicken when I called all they said was they'd look into it but I was truly disgusted, I found 3 just within 4 pieces of broccoli so there's no telling how many was in there that I didn't notice.

Ordered through Doordash... Our food was EXCELLENT!!!💖⭐ EVERY SINGLE THING!!!💖⭐ We ordered almost $100.00 worth of food. And tbh, I was skeptical bc so far up to this point every Chinese food restaurant we've ordered from was terrible. I was jaded bad over my last experience with a different restaurant in a different city and state...I didn't want to order Chinese food through doordash anymore.But, I took a chance today and MY OH MY was I PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! Our food was 20 min to prepare and about 10 min delivery. not bad compared to yesterday from a different restaurant. #1. The food came double bagged with a cardboard in the bottom as an even better support!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #2. the food was SUPER hot as in fresh off the stove!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #3. the vegetables were fresh and crisp!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #4. the shrimp was real and huge!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #5. The Szechuan shrimp had just the right "spicy heat and flavor"!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #6. they have a "diet version" for people with health issues...such as NO SALT OPTIONS!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #7. Spring rolls and Crab Rangoons ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was PERFECT, EXCELLENT, and we had enough left over for supper tonight as well!!!! Whoever is cooking today...GIVE THEM A RAISE AND KEEP THEM!!! What more can I say?!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank You!!! You have restored my hope in Doordash food..and Chinese food... At least in THIS location!!! ❤️ Thank You!!!

I'm actually surprised how tasteless this take out was. I got the usual basics of Chinese take out just for the general tso, sesame chicken and "hot" chicken to taste the SAME!?? I'm not sure why, but everything down to the sauce packets (soy sauce and duck sauce) was unsalted and plain.

Columbus Department of Public Health : Environmental Division has been notified. The person that said they had a bug in their food personally I didn’t think was true. We have eaten here many times and really liked the food. WRONG!!! NEVER AGAIN!! I will be calling the board of health in the morning. I saved it and have photos.

Amazing decorations extremely nice worker at the order counter. In the shrimp lo mein they gave so much food. The shrimp was the most flavorful shrimp ever.

A proper Take Out restaurant. Ordered Special fried rice, General Tsao's chicken, Chicken Lo Mein. Lovely taste and generous portions. Fast service Definitely worth it.

food was delicious and came out quick! though i asked for mongolian chicken extra spicy and there wasnt really any spice at all. it still tasted great! and it was cheaper than a lot of other dinners combinations in the area!

Black pepper chicken was very good. It says spicy on the menu but it wasn't but it was crunchy which we loved! Unexpected great new find in the Double Churches Road area. We will be back when I crave Chinese food! Healthy portions too.

I'm part of this local Facebook group where people ask for restaurant recommendations. A few people always recommend China Wok. I was in the area so I went by today for lunch and was not impressed at all. Service to food was very lackluster. To start with there was absolutely no one in restaurant and I asked the man if it was dine in and he said yes but order at the register first. He just kept looking at me like I was an idiot so I specifically came out and said, "I have never eaten here before." I placed my order, which I later found out while I was looking over the menu again, that I said the wrong menu number. I sat down and he simply brought a to go bag out and set it on the table. I asked again if it's dine in and he said yes. So apparently it's not really traditional dine in but they let you eat your to go order at their table. He didn't ask if I needed any packets of anything and just went straight back to play on his phone behind the register. The only thing in the bag was a napkin and super cheap plastic utensils that literally bend if you try to use them. I got up and asked for some soy sauce and then sat back down to eat. The fried rice was just downright bland even after trying to help it with one and then two packs of soy sauce. Wonon soup was the same, bland and no flavor with stale wonton strips. I couldn't even finish it. I don't even know what the chicken was. I didn't realize it but I verbally ordered D14 General Tsos chicken while also pointing to the General tso's chicken. It was supposed to be D13. D14 was honey chicken. I wasn't corrected when I said the wrong number. But it tasted nothing like General tso's chicken so maybe I got the Honey Chicken? But it didn't taste like Honey Chicken either. It was just blah. The pieces were nice and big and cooked nicely but no flavor. I don't know if it was a bad day or what. I'm going to ask the group I'm in what is supposed to be good here and give it another shot in a few weeks.

I ordered the Triple Delight With Black Pepper Sauce...what sauce? I'm still looking for it. This is the driest Chinese food ever. Look at my pic, look at the bowel they serve it in and you will see there is no sauce. While eating this dish the dish was so dry, the veggies are so hard, and the meat was so chewy it would get stuck in my throat. I won't be eating here again and don't believe the reviews.

I'm honestly so disappointed with my experience at China Wok. I had some friends recommend this place, saying it was the best chinese food in Columbus. It was the complete opposite. I ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken with Steamed Rice, as well as two Egg Drop Soups for my wife and I. We got takeout, and should have inspected our order before getting home. We got two large containers of their nasty sweet & sour sauce instead of our Egg Drop Soup we paid for. The chicken was below average, but the rice was pretty good, not that you can really mess up rice. If there was a way to mess up rice, this place would. Overall, I recommend staying as far away from China Wok as possible.

Delicious food, fast service, and a very quiet place. We've been on the hunt for good Chinese food in the area. We've tried so many and this one is the best in Columbus.

The food is good and you get a lot of food. I actually ate off of mines for 2 days. The crab ragoon was great

This was a last minute dinner choice. It will not be an option moving forward...the spring rolls were soggy and tasteless. The beef chow mein lacked any resemblance to the dish I'm accustomed to eating. The only redemption was the pork fried rice. It was edible.

My family and I ordered veggie lo mein, spare ribs, veggie rice, and rolls. They all loved it. However my rice was BLAND. I will try again though. Could've been a bad night.

Great fresh food. Being originally from NY I have a demanding taste for Chinese food. This is the best I have found in the area. General Tsos Chicken is made with large chicken chunks, not tiny chicken parts (who knows what part of the chicken many of the area Chinese restaurants are selling). Always crisp, fresh vegetables. The location is optimized for take out. Not a best choise for sit in restaurant. Highly recommend.

24 Aug 2022 at 4:22 pm; I telephoned China Wok with an order and was refused. It made me feel very Sad. I am a Senior Citizen, Grand Mother and had not eaten anything all day with the exception of a small pear and some popcorn. So you may say, I was STARVED, at this point. The person that answered the China Wok's telephone was rude, combative in nature and abusive towards me, and addressed themselves as the Restaurant's Owner, hung up the telephone on me several times, prior to placing me on a Block, Refusing to take my Calls. Refused to take my order as well. It did not matter, if I was nice, calm and hospitable to this Manager. To him I was still an African American, Black, Door Mat to him. How does this make me feel. One can only imagine. What I would like to know is WHO KEEPS THE RESTAURANT OWNERS IN CHECK ? ? ? Are they like God's and treat Consumers as they please? They make it seem like going to a Burger King or a McDonalds Restaurant is where you belong. If I ask for extra onions on my hamburger at a Burger King's Restaurant, their Manger would not tell me to go to another Restaurant to eat as the China Wok's Manager Repeatedly, Demanded. Should I ask for extra Pickles on my Hamburger, at the Mickey D's Restaurant Managers would not refuse to service me. As an African American, can this behavior not easily be viewed as inferiority? Whenever you frequent these China Wok Restaurants, whom ever you are, you are saying, you are in agreement with the Restaurant Style of Management. BEWARE THE NEXT VICTIM COULD BE YOU! I had take out from this restaurant while visiting Columbus. Very good moo shy pork. I had an egg roll as well that was cooked perfectly. Food was served very hot and stayed hot until I got back to the hotel. I recommend this restaurant.

Way too salty. We ordered quite a few items and everything was just ok. We asked for ice water and never got it. I had to go out to the car to get our drinks. We also fully finished all of our meals when my wife mentioned that they had never brought her shrimp egg roll. I think the employee realized this at the exact same time. We had to wait around for the egg roll to take to go after we had already finished our soup and meals. Pretty disappointing.

Finally tried something besides my usual order and it was equally delicious and fresh tasting! I ordered the vegetable mei fun and it wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it is tasty. My egg roll was amazing! I also really like the Kung pao and the black pepper chicken. Edit: I came here again today and unfortunately, the service was awful but it is normally great so I will give it another chance before I change my rating.

Called in my order 30 minutes to closing and got the boneless spare ribs. Thankfully I live close and didn't feel terribly bad that they were closing soon. Got there and my order was ready. Filled to the brim of my to go container was delicious boneless spare ribs. This could have gone really bad as boneless spare ribs can get dry but these pieces of ribs were moist and succulent. Definitely would come back to try some other dishes!

This has been our go to spot for a few years now and the service has been consistent. Never had an issue with the food or the quality. Great menu options!

Went for a late lunch today. Felt pretty safe when I walked in. No dining inside and you are separated from the staff/cashier with a counter-to-ceiling plastic curtain. Seemed clean and did not smell of airborne grease. I'm a big fan of Black pepper chicken (I know, basic) saw they had it and gave it a shot. The flavor was pretty good. The portion was fine for the price but the chicken was SOOO overcooked. I've never had it prepared deep fried (not battered) maybe some places prepare it differently. The texture was somewhere between jerky and pork cracklin's. Would have given another star if they had pulled the chicken from the fryer a couple of minutes earlier. I'll give it another shot. Maybe this was just an off day.

The only Chinese food we eat. Far from fort bennning but I don't mind driving. Food is always fresh when picking up.

This used to be my favorite Chinese takeout in all of town but the chef has clearly changed. The sauces aren't as flavorful, veggies not as fresh and the meat is not as much. This place was amazing 1 year ago! Makes me so sad because it so close to my house!

New ownership. Subpar food compared to old owners. Sauces are watered down with no flavor. Screwed up my order. I ordered 3 combos and was given 3 full orders and not the combos.

Arrived late at my hotel Friday night And drove around looking for food. It was 9pm and I spotted this place . Ordered the honey chicken which was fresh, hot, delicious, and tons of food. Very pleased and it was reasonably priced as well.

Best Chinese in Long Beach - always fresh and full of flavor. Go tos are garlic chicken and Kung pao chicken.

China Wok is consistently great! The food is good quality and they get my order right every time which is saying a lot because my order is special since I'm such a picky eater. I'm here at least once a week and sometimes more. I typically call it in and it's always ready when I arrive. Just to give you an idea of how good the food is, they were closed for 4-5 weeks in May and when they opened back the line was out the door.

How is the chicken whiter than the rice?? This chicken fried rice is HORRIBLE. Mei Fun?? No Fun. This is just about as bland as the friend rice. Look, when people go to restaurants, you may give them soy sauce but you kinda want food that's seasoned so you might not have to use it. Never again.

This place always messes up my order . Everytime . Either it's the wrong food or the just don't put everything in the bags. They are always so rude about it when I call to let them know . Will not eat here again.

The wife and I got Kung Pao Chicken and it was unlike any Kung Pao we had gotten elsewhere. The sauce was one we did not recognize and the dish was over-burdened with raw, chopped celery. It was not an enjoyable dish and we haven't been back. We took most of our food home and wound up trashing it.

Excellent food tasty and fresh. It was worth the long drive from Calloway gardens. Staff was very polite and courteous. I highly recommend the Singapore chow mei fun

Walked into this very small establishment located in a strip mall and thought "oh no" but let me tell you, the food was excellent & came out fast and was reasonably priced. We had a variety of items and all were excellent!

Until recently a 5 star, but unfortunately like many Columbus restaurants the food has become inconsistent. It may be with more than 1 cook, the luck of the draw may determine great or not so good

Good Chinese place! Takes a while to make your food, but calling in order and then picking it up works great! It's our go to for Chinese nights!

I've eaten here twice and both times the food was 5 stars. Today I went in for lunch around 1pm (I was the only one in there) and the table I selected had obviously not been wiped down. Also, I think the chairs need new padding.

This is the best chinese food ive had in a long time, fresh food and i love the eggrolls, i would give it 100 stars if i could, my whole family loved the food, and the staff is very kind and respectful, the prices are good and it worth it to stop in and try if you are in the area !!!!!!!

Before I ordered, based on PAST PERFORMANCE, 6 months ago, I rated this with FIVE STARS!!! Prior to change of ownership, this was EXCELLENT!! I was actually debating between two and three stars for this review! If the new owners can get back the quality of service, food, & attention to detail that the prior owners had then they will succeed!! HOPE SO!!!

Great food but WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever seen (both on the phone and in person). The lady at the front desk should hire professional customer service help and just relegate herself to the kitchen. No fault of hers, she's just not meant for customer service

The only Chinese place in the PC/Cols area I will eat at. Love it!! Classic egg drop soup, the broccoli with garlic sauce is excellent. My husband always orders the Mongolian beef. He loves it. Vegetarian friendly and they customize orders. The lady in the front is very nice.

This is my favorite place to go for take out. Im pretty picky i get garlic chicken no onion extra mushrooms and they happily make my order the way i want. The food is so good, always made to order fresh. Tonight they forgot part of my order but they happily replaced the item.

Decent food and service. Had orange chicken and had a great flavor. Fried rice was good, egg roll was just decent. Have had better food and service, but good for the price.

Discovered this place on yelp about a week ago trying to find a good Chinese place near our area and it was absolutely delicious. So much so that I'm going back again today as I really don't eat Chinese food the next day reheat it but it was delicious!

Before I talk about food, let's talk about customer service and how clean the store was kept. The lady at the register was looking at her phone the entire time I was there, mumbling, didn't ask if I wanted a drink or if it was for here or to go. Half the tables were covered in dishes, this was at about 2:44 pm eastern time, and no one even attempted to clean up the tables for the 15 minutes I sat there. The over all attitude I received from the lady was one of irritation. Ok, I'm done, draw your own conclusions, let's talk food now. I got the Mongolian Beef with fried rice for $8. Large portion, hot, tender beef and sweet, I was happy with my food. I didn't care for the egg roll. I saw more on the menu that I would like to try, I just wish someone else would take my order! On the upside, the lady decided to actually look at me and smile when she gave me my food. I came for the food, so I give it three stars, because the food is what I am all about!

The food is always good. I've been numerous times and never had a bad meal. But the girl behind the counter needs to put her phone down...was on phone while I ordered while I paid and while I signed charge slip, never looked up from her phone once. Very rude

I just love their food. Can't get enough amazing Chinese food. I advise people going there for dinner sometime.
