I ordered Szechuan rice and manchav soup Review about rice: There was only 10% rice and rest all not fully cooked noodles can’t even eat easily Gravy is extremely spicy even the person who cooked will not eat, everything in it is not cooked just added separately. Review about soup: Old cooked soup re cooked and given to us the color is different and it’s very thick This happened third time with me that’s why I put such a review This is my last order Thanks

This was our first time trying Chinese dhaba. The ambience was depressing and tables were left dirty. Ordered the triple schezwan, bullet chicken and shrimp schezwan. Bullet chicken was mediocre. Shrimp schezwan had hardly any shrimps in it. When I enquired about it to the lady in charge, she informed me that they only add 4 shrimps in a dish. This was extremely shocking as I have never seen that in any restaurant around the globe unless it’s a Michelin star. It was a rip off. When she saw my shock, she did offer to add shrimps to the dish but I was so done with this restaurant. The food, the feel, the service… everything was disappointing.

Google
The food is mediocre. The dishes do not consistently taste the same. I don’t think they have an actual chef. The last time we ate here, they drenched every dish in hot peppers. Everything was extremely spicy but not flavorful. Would I go there again? Yes,I would because of convenience but never for great quality.

Desi Food Reviews

Google
I write this review with deep disappointment and a heavy heart, as this establishment was once one of my all-time favorite places to eat. For years, the food here was nothing short of exceptional—full of flavor, made with care, and consistently satisfying. It was evident that the late owner poured his heart and soul into every dish. The quality, the attention to detail, the hospitality—it was all there. Unfortunately, that legacy has not been carried forward. Since the owner’s passing, the entire operation has taken a dramatic turn for the worse. The food, quite frankly, no longer tastes the same. The bold flavors that once set this place apart are now muted, bland, and, at times, outright off-putting. Signature dishes that I used to look forward to are now a shadow of what they once were—overcooked meats, soggy textures, and sauces that feel like they came from a can. It’s clear the recipes have either changed or are not being executed with the same skill and care. Even the little things that made this place special—the presentation, the seasoning, the balance of spices—have all deteriorated. It feels like the passion is gone. Whether it’s due to changes in kitchen staff, sourcing of ingredients, or simply a lack of oversight, the drop in quality is undeniable. Beyond the food, the service has grown increasingly indifferent. What was once a warm and inviting atmosphere has now become cold and transactional. It feels as though the spirit that built this place has been lost entirely. I held out hope after the owner’s passing, believing that those who inherited the responsibility would honor his vision and maintain the standards he worked so hard to establish. Sadly, that hasn’t happened. It’s painful to write this, but I can no longer recommend this restaurant to friends, family, or fellow food lovers. What was once a gem has become a disappointment. I truly hope they find a way to bring back the quality and heart that made this place so special. Until then, I won’t be returning.

We ordered chicken Manchurian, crispy chilli shrimp, Hakka schezwan noodles and chilli garlic fried rice. All of them has the Chinese aroma, but the taste was not that great. Out of those Hakka Schezwan Noodles tasted better and satisfying.

Google
I absolutely adore this Chinese restaurant! Their chicken manchow soup is simply out of this world, and the variety of dishes they offer keeps me coming back for more. I can't get enough of their ginger fried rice with tofu—it's bursting with flavor! The ambiance is inviting and straightforward, creating a perfect dining atmosphere. And let’s not forget the appetizers; they are utterly delightful! The service is lightning-fast, and the cleanliness of the place just adds to the overall experience. It’s a must-visit for any food lover!

Google
Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Such an amazing marriage of Chinese and Indian cuisine. The effervescent scents and tantalizing flavors create an invigorating tour of deliciousness for your taste buds and senses! Every dish that we tried left a smile on our face. From the Mango Masti with notes of sweetness and spice to the Wings of Heaven roasted chicken wings swimming in a smoked ginger barbeque sauce. Be prepared for large portion sizes, an incredible value for the money!! The atmosphere and friendly staff of this quaint restaurant makes the dining experience even more pleasant. The service received from Ali mirrored that of some of finest restaurants around Atlanta. His attention to detail and patience with our questions about the menu was top tier and always with a smile. Treat yourself today and come visit Chinese Dhaba!

Google
Exceeded expectations! I am a picky eater when it comes to curry and the lovely lady at the counter helped me find some thing on the menu that would be a good fit for me . Not only did I get curry, but I got curry fried rice. I did not even know that was a thing! The food is fantastic, and the portions are generous :)

Carlota C.

Yelp
absolutely love this place. my husband and I drive 25 miles one way just to eat there. everyone is very nice and the food excellent

Jared S.

Yelp
Fantastic food fantastic service. Chicken 65 next level and they add shredded chicken to Hot and Sour Soup. SOOOO GOOD!

KN W.

Yelp
Excellent Food very Delicious I Love Chinese Dhaba everyone should try this place one time.

Tina D P.

Yelp
I was a loyal customer for four years, and in the space of a week, the food that we ordered was twice mishandled and miscooked. Spicy instead of mild for a person with sensitivities, and we got meat instead of our vegetarian order. Service was rude when we tried to rectify the issues. Alas, will not order from them again.

Fardin F.

Yelp
Very good service. The uncle was very welcoming to my wife and I. We ordered an appetizer and main dish which was plenty of food for the both of us. The serving size was large and food tasted fresh. I would go back.

Sarah B.

Yelp
The food and service was great! Everything came out quickly. We had the szechuan chicken, fried rice, and tso's chicken, and everything was very tasty.

Shazil H.

Yelp
I have been coming to this restaurant for almost 14 years never had experience like this really bad service. I ordered chicken lollipops and they gave me some chicken wings fried in the lollipop batter and when I called them and told them about it the lady manager stated arguing with me and was trying to prove me wrong. Worst customer service and sadly

Nicole W.

Yelp
Unfortunately, there was confusion when we called in an order from Chinese Dhaba. We asked for 2 house fried rices with extra vegetables. What we got (and sadly didn't realize till we got all the way home) was 2 half size portions of plain fried rice with vegetables added. The rice was the basmati rice typical to Indian food. I usually love basmati rice, but this dish left a lot to be desired. It didn't seem fresh and was a tad on the oily side.

Niral J.

Yelp
Love their chicken lollipop, soup, and more. Really can't go wrong with anything in this menu! Absolutely love coming here for my favorite comfort foods, and the staff is so welcoming and kind

Karisa P.

Yelp
I love ordering takeout from here! So flavorful. You can taste the ginger and garlic in the dishes. I always ask for extra spice! Sometimes they do it and sometimes they may not - either way it's still delicious!

Chevy A.

Yelp
I have been coming here for 10 years and the food is always fresh and consistently delicious. We really love getting the Manchurian, chicken 65, and vegetable noodles. Don't let any bad reviews fool you, this place is a gem!

Huy L.

Yelp
Honestly idk what happened, this place was really good but lately the meals have been a miss. Just ordered bullet chicken very spicy with egg drop soup and fried rice and the chicken has absolutely no flavor?? It's not even red. I cant tell if they're having a bad night or not but it's happened more than once so this place is a hit or miss most nights. When it hits it hits but my food is so sad tonight, the red chili sauce they gave me has more flavor than my whole meal and my egg drop soup is literally all cabbage and I'm about to just throw it all away. Very sad to see this place drop in quality. Hopefully if you order you get them on the right night because the food is amazing otherwise but I'm definitely going to stop ordering here now.

Berlin B.

Yelp
You can go to a lot of places for the ambiance but really we go for the food. Chinese Dhaba hits on the food part of it. It is really good. The ambiance for most of them are Chinese strip mall style places with basic chairs and a food order counter. Not the worst, not the best. But the food is really taste and it is pretty unique. Not really Chinese style food, a hint of Indian in some of their dishes. In terms standard dishes and I love soup, I am going 5/5 because always taste better than standard strip mall Americanized Chinese food.

Chandran M.

Yelp
Saturday night, I walk in at 9:18 and was in mood for some indo chinese. There was three families just starting to eat. The closing time was 10. The lady at the counter says, I will get the food but you have to leave by 9:30 as we close the dine in at that time. So you don't have time to eat and you can't order now . It was rude and pathetic. Anyway we left. Don't be in s damn restaurant business if yup want to turn away paying customers of food. Go open s damn gas station or something.

Tauheedah M.

Yelp
I was sooooooooooo excited to find a Halal Chinese restaurant and Indian fusion just made it even more better. The menu is long online so I had some questions. I called the first time and the lady was busy so I told her is call back. Decided to pack my family in the car and drive the 30 minutes to support this business. We all decided what we wanted in general but again I had a couple of questions. I wanted to call in the order due to the pandemic so I called and a Man answered. I asked him about the different fried rice and then I was asking about the spice level of some chicken dishes due to me having children and he cut me off and said can I just call back when I know what I want because he was too busy for my questions. I was SHOCKED and extremely INSULTED. By the pictured I guess you all can see how busy they were. You need to treat your customers kind!!!!! I will NEVER support this business and I will let others know to follow suit. I work hard for my money, treat me with kindness.

George C.

Yelp
This one of my favorite restaurants to go and eat. They serve you a very generous amount of food and for a great price. Ali is very friendly and helpful.

Rashmi N.

Yelp
This place used to be one of my go-to for Indo-Chinese food in Atlanta. Sadly the food has changed a lot. All the dishes were inedible. We ordered our usual Chicken Manchow Soup, Veggie fireballs, Chicken lollipop, and Triple Szechuan Fried Rice. The soup was watery and tasteless. Chicken in fried rice was stale. Veggie fireballs and chicken lollipops were decent. I don't think we'll be going back. Disappointed.

Sayeed M.

Yelp
Just ordered from here and it was not good. The crispy chili potatoes were just soggy crinkle fries. The orange chicken was extremely dry and had almost no sauce. The garlic fried rice had almost no garlic in it and was missing the chicken I paid extra for

Warren C.

Yelp
Good Chicken 65, free water when you come in which is a nice touch, but they have been out of the sauce that comes with chicken 6 the last couple times.

Tina D.

Yelp
Portions are ok only for the noodle and rice dishes. Here is the take our portion for the spicy chili fish - I think there were 4 small pieces of fish in there and mostly green peppers and sauce. Shrinkflation at its best!

Nicola L.

Yelp
This place has been on my radar. Located in Decatur. In a Indian shopping plaza. I love this plaza. There is so much parking, just be careful entering from the main road. There is a lot of congestion on the main road. Inside the restaurant there is ample seating and restroom for customers. No complaints from the staff. Main reason for this review, the FOOD. It's a popular spot. I like the portion price and price points. I'm not a historian food, but I know spice. I like when I see that spice symbol next to my food the food is just that. So for that I love. The chicken wasn't hard and noodles are great. I think they are one of my hot choices for takeout/delivery.

Umer S.

Yelp
Short answer: don't waste your $$ - theres more options around. I was recommended to visit this place when I was visiting and now regret eating here. Food= full of salt and microwaved. Got chicken lolly pop (or so they called that) cold and dipped in salt, no sauce to go with it. Chicken veg rice - microwaved - you can tell it was not fresh made. Gravy chicken - maybe the only positive taste wise. Service= extremely rude and unpleasant, I was told to pick up after myself when I eat-in with my family. Receptionist at the counter is a kid and one more person being rude and ghetto as hell. Overall= don't bother. Find another place. Not recommended. P.S. I am not a big fan of leaving reviews but I made this account just so I can this time.

Yelp
Thanks to a recommendation from my trusted Pakistani bestie, I hit up Chinese Dhaba for some late night take out right before they closed. That was probably my first mistake right there. We arrived about an hour before closing on a Friday night and I was excited to show my friend what Bullet Chicken was about! We also decided to order this chili shrimp dish. It took a minute but we were on our way back home shortly. The Bullet Chicken and the chili shrimp dish were literally the exact same thing, which was something I was afraid of. The Bullet Chicken was good, but the chili shrimp was a bit much after eating the exact same taste in the chicken. I wish the lady at the register could have at least warned me that it was exactly the same, but she didn't seem to care aside from the fact that it was closing time and she was ready to leave, too. Overall, the Bullet Chicken was fine. I don't recommend ordering the chili shrimp at the same time as the Bullet chicken unless you have that pescatarian friend who wants to try the flavors without breaking the diet. I also don't recommend coming within an hour of closing time if you want to avoid lackluster customer service.

Yelp
I ordered through Uber Eats because I had a coupon and I had been meaning to try for months. My coworker always orders from Chinese Dhaba and it always smells so delicious so I was very eager to try it. For anyone unfamiliar, Chinese Dhaba is actually a type of Indian restaurant called Indo-Chinese because it's the Chinese food that is prepared Indian-style. They do have some typical "chinese" food dishes that you'd find in another American Chinese establishment, but that's not the main attraction. I ordered Chicken 65, Egg Drop Soup, Chicken Spring Samosas, Chilli Paneer, and a mango lassi. First things first, the mango lassi was absolutely delicious and I pretty much licked the cup clean. I wish the rest of the country appreciated mango lassi the way that I do. The chicken spring samosas were just okay, they seemed to be missing something in my opinion. The Chicken 65 was great, yummy little nuggets of spicy fried chicken. The chilli paneer was also just okay. The sauce tasted more like a Manchurian sauce IMO. It wasn't very spicy, my Chicken 65 was spicier than my paneer. It was still tasty though. The only thing that I categorically did not like was the egg drop soup. It was very thick and totally flavorless. I tried adding my wonton chips to it and it didn't help much. Overall a nice experience and I will certainly order again in the future as I am a big fan of indo-Chinese cuisine!

Yelp
Hole in the wall in Patel SC. Indian Chinese. Quite delicious. Very clean place. Go. Only ding is Patel SC has seen better days and needs some refurb. Plenty of parking though.

Kitty K.

Yelp
Food was tasty noodle and rice dishes was good portion, and it came out fresh; the service at the counter was very friendly plenty of parking interesting fusion spot to try.

Arpita B.

Yelp
The food at Chinese dhaba at any of their locations is comparable. What makes this location subpar is its atrocious service. The staff and manager are unapologetic of their shabby semblance of customer service. Having placed an order for take out I was informed it would take 45 mins. When we arrived after more than an hr to pick our order we were simply told it would take another hour to get the order as they had just about fired our order. No further explanation provided. On further probing the front of the shop lady( not wearing a face mask) walked away sending the manager who just said "we are busy I dont know who you talked to". No apologies nothing. It's very disappointing when a franchise as the size of this that makes most of its business with take out and delivery is not respectful of their customers time. They need to realize an apology goes a long way to keep a customer. We called the norcross location and 20 mins later had our food! Caution: social distancing and face masks are infrequently practiced at this location

Manish P.

Yelp
The worst restaurant I have ever been in . The way waitress treated us was not acceptable When we walked into the restaurant around 8:50 PM, We were told that Food will be out at 9:20 at the most and we had 10 minutes to eat the food due to closing and they don't get paid for any extra time post 9:30. We were okay with that as long as we get our food by 9:20pm. Cashier stated yes that is no problem, we placed the order after that ( ~ $60) It was cold outside, so we decided to stay in the restaurant, it was blocked by both end ( Owner should look at the video to see how they are compliance with OSHA regulation with safety. guest were eating with entrance blocked. At about 9:15 seated guest were asked to leave even though they have not finished their meal, things got little ugly really quick. we decided that we will make it to go and not eat in restaurant. we got our food at 9:40pm and were asked to leave immediately by the staff yelling (again owner should see the video). there were two other guest still waiting on their food who had placed their order after us. we were just trying to get all the utensils and napkins so we can eat in car. food was okay but we would never return to this place again nor we would recommend this to any one. after the incidence of yelling we requested to speak with owner they said they are not allowed to share that information as per Owner. Edit after owners request to hear more via email account see below Hi Cassondra Thank you for reaching out to express your concern. My review is in depth. I am not sure what details are you seeking for via email. Did you check with your employee? We're you able to go back and review the video? Specifically for safety concern? I just realize. You had gone down the list and asking everyone who had gave you lower review, you are asking same to everyone ( copy and paste ).

Ishaan P.

Yelp
We walked in at 8:45 and were guaranteed our food would be out before 9:15 that way we could eat and leave before the restaurant closed. We waited and waited only to receive food at 9:30, as we were trying to sort out our food and put it into Togo boxes we were yelled at and rudely asked to leave. The food was ok but the service was awful. From the moment we entered we were treated poorly by the workers. I do not recommend this place to anyone In response to the owners message @cassondra what further information would you like? We requested owner information as well as employee names, but all requests were denied, however we were sure to grab a pictures. Also I was reading other reviews and it seems like this is an ongoing problem as others have shared the same experience.

Pedro E.

Yelp
Food is amazing! Fried rice is spicy and so many shrimps. My favorite dish is the lollipop chicken

Bee Y.

Yelp
The food looked good in the photos so I thought it would be nice to give a try since I love spicy foods. The people who took my order told me that the food would be good. Unfortunately, the next day after eating it, my wife and I developed watery and loose stools followed by stomach cramps. It was some type of food virus. Maybe the shrimp that was used to prepare my food was spoiled.

Veeral S.

Yelp
I'm speechless. The food here tastes fresh, spicy, and it's always hot. The Veggie Fireballs are new on the menu and my favorite! Here are a few additional favorites: - Bullet Chicken - Veggie Manchurian - Chili Chicken Garlic Noodles - Chicken 65 It's extremely packed in the complex on the weekends, but the wait time is usually low in the restaurant. PLUS, they offer delivery service. I recommend trying it out in person first then opt for delivery for the second time.

Kate F.

Yelp
The vegetarian Szechuan Lo Mein noodles are like spicy red chili sauce Lo Mein. Not too greasy or salty, and super spicy. The portion in huge, probably a few pounds of noodles. Veggie Fireballs - delicious! It tastes like a falafel/samosa/corn fritter in texture and then it drenched in the red chili sauce you see in the pic. It's made of cabbage, corn, and a few other vegetables and then fried in the shape of a small patty, and laid on a bed of chopped cabbage. Spring rolls- very hearty and crisp. These are crispy fried like the Vietnamese spring roll, but it's stuffed with spinach and cabbage and thick veggies. Comes with a vinegar sauce and hot sauce. There are plenty of canned sodas and fresh fruit drinks. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is clean and spacious. Overall very good lunch and portions can easily be paired.

Kiran T.

Yelp
This is a very unique kind of Indo-Chinese restaurant. Indian herbs and spices into traditional Chinese cuisine to create unique flavors that give you a distinctive dining experience. They are much like one that may be found at a local Indian dhaba/countryside restaurant. Every dish is freshly prepared to order, resulting in a consistently rewarding experience. I had Triple Szcheuan with Chicken and Hot & Sour Soup with Chicken for lunch. They were really awesome and tasty. Everything I ordered came out quickly, was hot and was fresh. The staff was so friendly from beginning to end. The food is great, but the plastic eating ware and styro foam boxes have a lot to be desired or need to be changed immediately. the plastics are not really environmentally friendly. The place is small but it's fine for the good taste they serve. It's more recommended for to-go. They do have ample free parking as it is in a multi-shopping complex.

Chris H.

Yelp
Awesome Indian/Chinese fusion restaurant. The service is always fast and friendly. I usually get bullet chicken and chili garlic hakka noodles. Both are well spiced, just how I like. I tried the crispy chili potatoes last time and they were pretty good also. I definitely would recommend this place.

Adam A.

Yelp
The food here is pretty good! If you have never had Indo-Chinese food, this place is a MUST try.

Abhishek S.

Yelp
This place is a must visit. For anyone who loves fusion food, Chinese Dhaba is a must visit. Its Chinese food with an Indian twist. We ordered for chicken lollipop, Chinese bhel and pan fried noodles. All of them were sumptuous and yummy. A must visit for Asian fusion food.

Darren H.

Yelp
I remember going to this place when they had a location in the Global Mall in Norcross. There's seating inside the place but I wouldn't recommend it with Covid-19 going on. Tons of parking in this shopping plaza and a bunch of things to choose from, Indian supermarket, dessert shop, LED store (???). If you don't call ahead you will have to wait about 10 to 15 minutes as everything is made when ordered. The food is good and if you like spicy you will be in heaven. If you don't make sure you ask them to make it mild. I got my mild and it was still a bit spicy. I got the General Tso's chicken with the steamed rice. Enjoyed my meal and I will be back to try something else. Who knew that and Indian/Chinese fusion place could be so good. I'll be back to this shopping plaza even if it's only for LED lights :-)

Mick D.

Yelp
I know my fellow countrymen are into the whole Indo-Sino fusion thing. I don't really understand it. But it makes my friends happy and it does me good to see that. There's an interesting variety of things on the menu. Some dishes border on being "traditionally" Indian. (Like the Chicken 65, or the Bullet Chicken.) Most dishes blend in some kind of Chinese influence. (Like the Veggie Manchurian mix. Or the chili garlic hakka noodles.) The prices are pretty fair. This little hole-in-the-wall doesn't look like much, but you're sure to find something here that pleases your palate. The folks behind the counter are friendly, and will make good recommendations, but if you don't like your food too spicy, make sure you use the word "bland" when ordering your food. "Mild" is still likely to have a big impact on you.

Kai D.

Yelp
I ordered the garlic fried rice with vegetables and 6pc chicken wing (sweet & spicy). I wished they had a combo of the two like Chinese restaurants have. The quality was delicious and will be back again to try other choices.

John E.

Yelp
You can find Chinese Dhaba at the food court at Global Mall on the West side of Jimmy Carter from I85. This spot has several interesting Indian restaurants including the much visited Ashiana on the ground floor. Chinese Dhaba shares the food court with several other restaurants like Sri Krishna Vilas. I've you've never had Indian style Chinese food you're in for a treat. The food in general is very spicy with quite a bit of heat - I used to visit Hot Wok on Tilly Mill back in the day and the food here is similar, only you order at a window instead of from a menu seated. Indian Chinese food tends to be served two different ways, with or without gravy. I prefer the "dry" or no gravy style as I think the flavors are better but the choice is yours - note that the "wet" style tends to be runnier than you would typically find in Chinese restaurants that aren't Indian style. Chinese Dhaba is a no frills operation with a limited menu including some of my favorites. There are also photos conveniently arranged on the wall so you can get an idea of what you're buying. This was my first time trying the food so I went with something spicy - the Chicken Chili (dry). It came with a plate of white rice and a pile of wok-fried, lightly breaded chicken covered on peppers. They'll also provide a side of chili-sauce that's quite good - I piled it all on and was finished in less than 10 minutes. The flavors were spot-on and delicious - also the spice level here is a bit higher than your typical American palate. I don't normally recommend food-court restaurants but both Chinese Dhaba and Sri Krishna Vilas are worth trying. At $7.50 the Chicken Chili (dry) is delicious and a spicy bargain. Ashiana downstairs is also OK for a quick bite - the buffet is rather limited but you can get in-and-out very quickly, plus the people running it are very kind. (a bit longer version of this review also posted to my food blog)

Yelp
The foodie in me has been looking for an Indo-Chinese restaurant for quite a while now and this place doesn't not disappoint at all ! Not a fancy place, but they got their food right which matters more. Ordered the chili garlic noodles and the vegetarian Manchuria, both of which were great and had the right amount of spice. Totally worth the 40min drive from My place. il come back for sure. Value for money !

Sara M.

Yelp
The decor is nice but the quality of the ingredients is inversely as good to how carefully they decorated the place. We had the gobi manchurian (cauliflower) which I thought was tasty, and the tofu with vegetables in Szechuan sauce + chicken in manchurian sauce. The rice was abundant and fine. But It seems to me like the entrees were very similarly made with cheap oil (msg?) and over spiced to compensate. I regularly eat spicy food including Indian and Taiwanese food so it's definitely not because I can't handle spices. It's just cheaply made. It did not sit well in my stomach, if you know what I mean. Please improve the quality of your ingredients, that may be a reason why the other restaurants are popping and this place was empty. TLDR: Eat here if you can stomach cheap ingredients + spice overload.

Sri K.

Yelp
Chinese Dhaba in Global mall is OK for Indian Chinese. We ordered Chicken 65, Triple Fried Schezwan Rice, Sweet corn soup and Noodles. Chicken 65 was just fried chicken. It was dry & they did NOT add any spice to it. I would suggest not to order it. Triple Fried rice was good. Sweet corn soup had no salt in it. Noodles was OK too. Quantity was good (actually large portion). Other items on menu - pictures did NOT do justice, so we were scared to order it. So overall, I would say give it a try once.

Thi T.

Yelp
Cheap option for Chinese/Indian/fusion dishes. There are massive amounts to each dish. Be prepared to be stuffed. It reminds me of Americanized Chinese food (beware of food coma or guilt for eating greasy food). Chicken 65 has a good flavor but is dry. Another chicken fish was less dry but it is greasy. Fries have an interesting sauce but potatoes themselves we a bit bland. Service seemed slow. Ok to try but not worth the guilt of eating greasy unhealthy (not fresh??) food.

Chris S.

Yelp
Perfectly acceptable noodles, great price, easy to get to with plenty of parking. Would recommend

Praveen K.

Yelp
I have tried here food yesterday.. I am sorry to say but It is not professional & intelligent cooking , taste was also not up to the mark , I am not sure all the ingredients are fresh here bcoz all the family members including me are still abdomen pain. I must recommend please take extra care specially food preparation, cheap price not only the solution of better business.

Addy C.

Yelp
I like this place b/c it's different - Chinese food w/ an Indian twist (very spicy Chinese food). And b/c I know the food will be super spicy after reading everyone's reviews, I tell them to make my food slightly less spicy than their normal spicy - and both times it ended up being "just right" for me ... i.e., spicy but tolerable :) They have a 2nd location at Global Mall food court but Yelpers give this Decatur location higher ratings. I talked to the owner (?), and she said they own both locations and have the exact same menu. She thinks maybe the lower ratings are due in part to the food court ambience. At this Decatur location, order at the front and then they'll bring the food to you. Also they must not like washing dishes b/c everything here is paper products - plates, bowls, cups, utensils, etc. MANCHOW SOUP W/ CHICKEN - $3 Ordered this b/c reviews were raving about it. Tasted like a version of Hot & Sour Soup except w/ lots of chopped cilantro, thinly shredded chicken, and it's super spicy. I thought it was very tasty. Perfect soup for cold weather and cilantro fans. If you're just wanting to sample, I think the portion is good for 2-3 people to share. CHILI GARLIC NOODLES W/ CHICKEN - $7.50 Noodles were the thin & dry kind (vs. flat) w/ shredded chicken & veggies. Spicy and good but I probably wouldn't order it again. Portion was enough for 3 meals for me :) CHICKEN BULLET DRY - $7.50 This dish reminded me of Szechuan Chicken. Tasted good - spicy fried chicken pieces, chopped garlic, red onions, and red peppers. Portion was enough for 2 meals. I probably wouldn't order this again either - but also b/c I'd want to try their other dishes. SHAHI KULFI FALOODA W/ NUTS - $4 After reading Ebony B's review gushing about this dessert, seemed like I should order it too. It's almost like an Indian version of frozen mochi but also w/ noodles which gave it an interesting texture. Great dessert to cool down the mouth. Portion is good for three ppl but I somehow ate it all myself :) Overall enjoyed eating something different. I'd recommend eating here w/ a group of people so you can try different dishes. Remember all their food is very spicy so if you're not a spicy food person, make sure you specify your desired level when ordering. I'd definitely come back - the folks here are very nice. Next time I'd like to try their version of Chicken 65. FYI - located in the Patel Plaza, on the far left side if you're facing the front. Definitely check out Patel Brothers supermarket afterwards and feel like you're in India :)

Yelp
I want to preface this by saying I actually really like this place. I would give it a 4* in the past but recently the cleanliness and quality has dropped a bit. Chinese Dhaba is a Indian/asian fusion spot. They do your chow mein with a chicken 65 on the side. They have a friend shrimp with chutney like sauce. All the usual Chinese food suspects are there. However my favorite item their is the Lollipop chicken and Chow Mein. The lollipop chicken is a tandoori style drumstick sliced and deep fried. Its best eaten with company because the portions are large. Their Chow Mein has that residual desi taste and Asian zing. its unique and reminds me a little bit of West Indian Chow mein. This is a good place for a casual meal or to go. Their food is all Halaal and their prices are fair because they give you a ton of food.

Yelp
Great the 1st time 3 years ago, great even now. The menu hasn't changed much, but most of the dishes are classic one never gets bored eating. The restaurant is still very clean with a nice ambiance. Unlike most other Indian-Chinese restaurants I've been to in atlanta. The service is nice, friendly and very efficient. We ordered the chicken chili noodles. They were done well; not overly spicy that all you taste are just chilies. With the right amount of vegetables to balance out the meat. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be, not over cooked to make them gooey or undercooked to give a raw bite. The Chicken manchurian was pretty good as well. A tad bit too starchy but overall very flavorful. Next time will be eating there, as their decor is very inviting and a nice place to enjoy with family and/or friends. I would definitely like for them to experiment with a few more entrees but for now it's my go to Indian Chinese restaurant in atlanta.
