It is a cute cozy store. I received a variety of cookies to share with my family. Cookies received: Gingerbread (?), Blueberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Chip and Confetti. Customer service was great! She was so nice and helpful with accessing my order. The cookies were a fan favorite and I plan to order more in the future.

This place was amazing!!!! We were at the end of a girl’s trip and I decided to go get a quick dessert after dinner. My friends ended up wanting cookies too simply from the amazing customer service and how delicious the cookies looked! I can confirm after eating the Jelly Donut cookie that they are even tastier than they looked, which seemed impossible! Can’t recommend this place enough.

Iziah was soooo helpful and amazing ! You guys have to come out and try these cookies! Hands down best cookie is the Blueberry cheesecake come by before they sell out

James Lee (young PROFESSIONAL) was holding this place down on his OWN this Sunday night and left us feeling so grateful that such amazing customer service still exists! He was extra accommodating of an allergy in our group, made sure everything was packaged separately to be safe, and so incredibly patient with us. Cookies were also AMAZING and my croissant cookie was made fresh to order — truly delectable. We simply had the best experience !! Will be coming back.

The thin cookies here are the epitome of "classic." They're exactly what I want whenever I'm craving a cookie, and the fact they come out warm puts them over the edge. Friendly service, cheap prices, great cookies. This place is already a Newbury staple.

My wife ordered these for delivery as a dessert after dinner. Very happy with them. Delicious, thick, classic chocolate chip. Definately going to stop in next time I go to state and liberty for my suits. Just wanted to say thank you and leave a 5 banger for ya. Hope your a family business or started by an ambitious entrepreneur. Keep crushing it 💪

I’ve been wanting to try the Dubai chocolate for awhile, found something more amazing! Dubai chocolate cookie donut! When I’m in Boston again I’m stopping in to try more flavors😍 So cute inside too!!

First time trying these, cookies are not moist, warm, or very flavorful…. Insomnia is way better, just go there

BEST THINGS EVER MY ONLY COOKIE PLACE I WILL EVER GO i audibly gasped and said omg bc they were so good if your gonna go anywhere im telling you go here such nice staff super easy and i saw them re stock the cookie fresh and hot ! the place itself was such good vibes thats the reason i even went in there bc of the places vibes and i was NOT disappointed one bit. it was friendly and welcoming so nice! if you are gonna listen to any review pls pls pls listen to me bc im not lying best things ever

I was excited to try this spot for the first time as a visitor to Boston, but it was just alright. The inside honestly felt a little dirty and I wasnt met with the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies like I would've expected. I think the dough for these cookies must be mass produced and shipped to the store as they all looked suspiciously similar. That also explains why the making area is hidden. They taste fine, but I'm not dying to return.

We stopped by twice in the span of several days!! Was looking for a night dessert and had to stop by. We had the white chocolate macadamia, chocolate chip, and cookies and cream and all of them were so delicious! All the cookies are made super thick and soft with a chewy moist center. They taste best when eaten fresh! The staff were quite friendly and let us know which cookies were freshly made and ready to go. The store itself is tiny with minimal outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend if you have a sweet tooth craving!

So happy Chip City opened a new location in Boston on Newbury Street. Cute charming small store with a special cookie each month. They offer a free cookie on your birthday. Great selections and good size. Really nice workers who are friendly and sociable.

Ugh! Chip City! Where have you been all my life? These cookies put Crumbl and Insomnia to bed. I got the s'mores cookie and my girlfriend got the snickers cookie. Absolutely amazing, so warm and gooey. I loved the burnt marshmallow on my s'mores cookie. They are super rich, hot, and flavorful. Definitely worth stopping here when on Newbury.

I ordered both thin and regular cookies there. They were both super great. I think it's great that they have those options for those who have preferences over big or small cookies. The atmosphere is awesome and they even have a small coloring activity there for kids. Service was nice and I left with a stomach full of sweet warm cookies, very satisfied.

After walking around Newbury St for the day, we decided to stop by Chip City. The guy working at the front was awesome, super friendly, upbeat, and clearly passionate about the cookies. He answered all our questions and let us know that flavors change every friday. He mentioned tomorrow's lineup included Dubai Chocolate and Biscoff Cheesecake, so yes, I'll be back very soon. He offered us a free sample of the red velvet cookie, and it was delicious. It was crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside, with a delicious cream cheese filling. We ended up getting the s'mores cookie, which was also really good. I loved that it was rich but not overly sweet, you get the gooey chocolate and marshmallow without feeling overwhelmed by sugar and sweetness. Overall, a great experience, from the cookies to the service to the vibe. I'll definitely be coming back soon to try more flavors!

Well I don't think it was a cookie - but it was fricken delicious. Honestly I don't know what it was... like a cross between a croissant and a cookie ? I don't know and I don't care. I'd go back! .

Good warm cookie with good variations. Super quick service and I can always appreciate an estimation of calories. Not bad especially after a few drinks

One of the best cookies I've ever had. Service was also great, guy behind counter was friendly and offered his opinion on each of the cookies. It's got a hole in the wall vibe with inviting ambiance.

Easy online pickup. Chocolate chip cookie is thick, crunchy outside, soft inside- really good! Comparable to Levain for taste and price.

The store has a very welcoming presence with an equally welcoming staff. The store was very clean and I enjoyed the overall brand design. There were various cookie options and I opted for one of the seasonal cookies (White Chocolate Cranberry Oat), while my friend ordered a S'mores cookie (a classic flavor). Both cookies were very sweet (perhaps overly sweet) and had a gooey center that teetered on undercooked. Perhaps I would have enjoyed this more with a glass of milk to curb the sweetness but at $3+ for in-store purchase that hardly seemed worth it. I found myself comparing this store to similar brands such as Levain and Crumble which also boast $5+ cookies (and rotating specials). The cookie options here appealed to me more than that of Crumble (as well as the overall flavor). However, nothing has beat Levain (near perfect cookies). I may find myself trying another flavor sometime (with a glass of milk from home) but certainly not a place I would find myself craving.

Cookies are actually delicious! Service was nice. Ambiance is clean, i just picked up my order and left! The cookies are not overly sweet, just right! They are expensive but comparable to dessert in the area!

I like them better than cookie crumble. My only suggestion would be to throw in a weekly healthier cookie or cake for those that don't indulge in the sugary cookies. I usually buy a1/2 dozen for work but there's always one that is looking for a oatmeal carrot cookie sort of treat.( btw, the cookies are big enough to share with 3 people) .The staff is always very friendly and your points add up quickly. I have only been there 3 times and I already got free items.
