Chip City was highly recommended to me and best of all there was no line. Unfortunately the cookies I would have preferred were sold out and there was a wait as a fresh batch was in the oven. We decided not to linger and opted for 3 cookies as it was slightly cheaper to get the box. I found them very enjoyable but not quite delivering to my expectations though I liked that they served warm

I recently passed by this Chip City location plus, it's my first time visiting this location because of finding out about the Limited Edition Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger Cookie to celebrate 50 years of SNL, so I decided to go and experience this cookie. I must say the experience here was a blast. It was my birthday week and weekend and I wanted to close out my birthday with this cookie as a gift to myself. AICHA, made my visit wonderful, her top notch customer service was beyond Superb, I'm a little disabled, and she helped me out tremendously. Just know that if you run into her for assistance you'll be well taken care of.

We happened by when they were just pulling cookies out of the oven so they were hot and fresh. They stay pretty busy most times so they are typically very fresh anyway. They have a good selection and the cookies were very good.

Wowwwwwwww. Just WOW!! 💕🍪 This place was a gem! Located in the bottom floor of the plaza, this little cookie shop offers some of the best cookies on this planet! They offered 2 vegan (dairy free) choices. We got the vegan chocolate chip. Blown away! First off, these cookies are HUGE. We shared it and one was plenty for the two of us. They are kept warm- so you get a massive, gooey warm cookie made of dreams. Perfect crispy outside with a doughy soft inside. I’ve had a LOT of vegan cookies but this… was one of the best, hands down. Come here! You won’t be disappointed. Move over Crumble- you got Chip city in the lead! Bonus points for their adorable branding!

The best cookies I've ever had, especially the gingerbread one. They're really big and thick, and you could split them up. I purchased a box of six to share with my kids and family. They're better when warm, so I heated them up in the microwave for a few seconds. The instructions are on the box. I understand that the cookie flavors switch every week, so gingerbread is not guaranteed. Enjoy!

Head downstairs in Rockefeller Center for this sweet treat. I got the weekly flavor Teddi-Fetti on 1/31/24, as well normal menu items oatmeal apple pie, and the fan favorite cookies and cream. I got a 3 pack and the 3rd cookie was half priced. Heat them for 5-10 seconds in the microwave or at 350 for 3 to 5 minutes. Delicious and dense in the best way. I’ll be coming back again and again.

This is my first time trying Chip City and I love the dining area under the Rockefeller Center, so it was cool that this was one of the options. I originally ordered something for National Cookie Day, which they gave everyone who downloaded the app a free cookie. However, when I got there, the line was genuinely so long that I would've missed my next engagement, so I emailed customer service as I never received my cookie. They were kind and gave me a free one through enough stars to my account. I ordered the Chocolate Chip Cookie and I think if I ate it hot it would be much better. The cookie seemed pretty dense and it's a bit crazy to me that the whole thing is almost 600 calories. I'm more of a crispy cookie person so unfortunately I was not the biggest fan. Also, I wish that the cookie had bigger chocolate chunks for more of the yummy and gooey flavor. I did appreciate the cute boxed packaging though! Not sure if I would purchase Chip City with my own money but it was nice of them to be giving out free cookies during National Cookie Day.

I enjoy bringing coworkers to this gem, below Rockefeller Center. Their cookies are ALWAYS good and I appreciate how the staff goes above and beyond, in order to sell you items that are still in the oven/warmer. I highly recommend Chip City and don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program. You'll enjoy the rewards.

I finally got to try Chip City due to their National Cookie Day deal, and I can truly say it was worth fighting the Rockefeller tree lighting crowd to get there (and that's saying a lot). The workers were so nice and helpful, even at the end of a busy day. I got the white chocolate gingerbread cookie and my friend got the brookie, and we were both blown away by how good they were. The cookies were warm, soft, and gooey, perfect for a cold night. They're also pretty sizable and make for a decadent treat.

Came to this location for cheeseburger cheeseburger! What a cute treat for those who cannot get their hands on SNL tix!

Kind of disappointed by the chocolate chip cookie from Chip City in Rockefeller center. In terms of taste, texture, and experience, I felt that if you took three or four Subway cookies and stack them on top of each other and made one cookie, this is what you would get. There's very little difference in taste. Not crazy about the setup at Rockefeller center either. You buy your expensive cookie and your very expensive soda from the place next door (unless you want milk or water from here) and then there's nowhere to sit and eat it (like most of the paces here) unless you keep walking around and find the little weird dungeon spot to sit, that's kind of down around a corner and under ground. Overprocessed, mass produced tasting, fast food, mid-cookie that wants to sell you on the cuteness of the shop and the size of the big, super average (at best) cookie. It's OK, but just OK.

We stopped in for a quick sweet fix. Chip City is a cute, bright and welcoming little shop in Rockefeller Center. We chose the OG chocolate chip for $4.75, we also considered the cookies and cream, the dark chocolate peanut butter looked really good as well... choices, choices. It is four servings but we made it 2. The cookie was thick and full of chips. It was cooked properly and was soft while holding together. Service was efficient and friendly. I recommend stopping in to Chip City and getting a sweet treat while in the Rockefeller Center area.

Such sweet staff for a delicious cookie shop! $5.50 per cookie, which is well worth it due to how much taste is packed into this humongous cookie! Gotta try it for yourself!

I was sent on a mission from California to bring back home cookies from Chip City so I had to see what all the rave was about! It initially was hard to find as it is a small store in a bigger building so it was a tad of a struggle to find, but it was worth it. Immediately upon coming in, we were greeted by the friendliest workers I have experienced on my trip so far! They were funny and knowledgable about all the cookies so I trusted them on their recommendation and was I glad I did! We got Cookies & Cream, Smores, and Blueberry Cheesecake; all of which were soooo good. In fact, we went back the next day (to which the workers remembered us!) and ordered more for the trip home. There isn't a place to eat inside the store but I do recommend finding a place to eat them soon because they are really good fresh and you can really appreciate the gooey center with the nice crisp on the outside. Highly recommend this place not only for the yummy cookies and great service!

My friend wanted to "window shop" but we ended up getting 3 cookies: lemon berry, hot honey cornbread, and dark chocolate peanut butter. All 3 were delicious - warm, buttery, and melts in your mouth. I usually get my cookies from Levain but I might need to switch to Chip City! Just beware of their calories lol...it says ~200 calories per serving but right under it in small font, it states 4 servings per cookies.

Love that Chip has rotating cookies every week! This time I tried the Brookie which was also dairy free! It was delicious!

First off, let me say that Chip City is one of my favorite cookies and a must visit any time I'm in New York City. I love these cookies so much that we are including one in each of our wedding welcome bags which brings me to this story of the amazing chip city team. I had placed a catering order for 65 cookies to be picked up as I was leaving New York City on the way to my wedding venue in the Hudson Valley. My plan was to pick up the cookies at Rockefeller Center and then catch a train at Grand Central. In my mind, the cookies were going to be in bags that I would be able to carry along side my luggage. When I arrived, I found the cookies had been packed in a large catering box which, if not for my hands being full with 4 pieces of luggage, would have been perfect. That said, there was absolutely no way I was going to be able to make it out of Rockefeller center, into a cab to grand central and onto a train. The staff at the chip city in Rockefeller center quickly pivoted and repacked the cookies into smaller boxes so that they would be able to fit into two bags. I cannot thank the team at this location for saving the day!! I know our wedding guests are going to love the cookies. Thanks again and can't wait to get back for another visit.

On the search for the best cookies in NYC and I had to stop by Chip City! I got the Pina colada cookie which was a nice size and smelled amazing. When I first bit into it, it tasted just like a coconut macaroon. I appreciated the crispness of the cookie and that it wasn't too soft. The center is filled with pineapple jam to give it the Pina colada flavor. Overall the cookie was yummy but a bit on the sweet side and also a little dry. I don't think I would get it again but I am curious how their chocolate chip cookie tastes. Since I ordered to pick up from the app, I was able to pick up very quickly. The store is a decent size and the workers are friendly.

While cookies aren't usually my dessert of choice, the game changes when they're the chunky, gooey, filled variety. Both Levain and Gooey on the Inside are great, but Chip City's weekly shifting menu and fun variety of flavors combined with legitimately quality cookies have made me loyal to them above all others. I've tried the lemon poppyseed, carrot cake, peanut butter and jelly, and blueberry cheesecake, and they're all delightful. Even a few of the flavors I'm less fond of, like horchata (not enough filling), hot honey cornbread (not sure what I was expecting, but I was underwhelmed because this was just straight up cornbread) and banana cream pie (generally not big on banana desserts outside of banana bread) are pretty good. And they had a pizza cookie for April Fool's weekend, complete with a Parmesan cheese crust and filled with sweetened pizza sauce, and let me tell you it was ABSOLUTELY fantastic and one of my favorite flavors to date. Kinda like pizza Lunchables in cookie form. They definitely intended it as a gag flavor of sorts and likely won't be including it in the regular rotation, but I hope I'm wrong, because this cookie married the savory and sweet so well. This Chip City site, in the Rockefeller Center dining concourse, is blessedly close to my office. If you're unfamiliar with the area, it can be tricky to find the first time around, but I now have a mental GPS burned into my brain for this location.

Always enjoy the cookies at chip city. This location will sometimes have the exclusive flavors from the weekend but have to visit or call ahead. Service is always friendly and always in stock. I like that it is under the plaza but not when there are big events. You cannot get to the location for example on tree lighting day.

Oh my gosh!! Best cookies I've EVER HAD (and I LOVE cookies!!). The chocolate chip was gooey and melty and so flavorful. I came back three times in a week just for this cookie because I loved it that much. It was delicious. The s'mores one was one of their weekly flavors and the graham cracker base was delicious!! The service was great and the employees were kind. I am so happy to hear they do nationwide shipping because I am addicted to these. They are amazing!! You need to try this while in NYC. Much better than the other big named NYC cookie shop!!

Cookies. GOOD. Pleasantly surprised by the big and fat Cookies I purchased at CHIP which tasted DELICIOUS. Too many choices to choose from but I picked up the Double Chocolate Peanut Butter and Cookies N' Cream flavors. Better tasting Cookies at CHIP compared to some other places I've tried. RECOMMEND.

Walking out of the Rockefeller Center we were pulled into Chip City by the aroma of freshly baked cookies. The service was great as the staff was super friendly and helpful with our questions about their cookies. The Orange N' Cream was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend! .. we also had the chocolate chip!

This is a small, simple little cookie place in Rockefeller Plaza concourse. Chip City definitely was not around when I worked in Rockefeller back in 2018-2019 and I so wish it existed back then. Nonetheless, these are large cookies that one is truly enough, but you know that you wanna try more flavors so you end up buying ALL the flavors (it's nice to order these if you have other people to share them with!!) Since I came in November, the flavors other than the chocolate chip were very centered on autumn flavors and Thanksgiving: pumpkin spice latte, pecan pie, white chocolate cranberry oatmeal, sweet potato s'mores. um, YUM?! Safe to say as a party of 5, we ordered all the flavors to take advantage of the buy 5 cookies, get the 6th cookie free deal. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with the chocolate chip! If you like your Thanksgiving foods and pies in a cookie, try the seasonal flavors, but note that they can be a little too sweet / too much to eat at once! The most balanced cookie there was the white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookie: the perfect mix of sweetness, tartness, and the grain from the oatmeal gives it that nice heartiness to the cookie. Give Chip City a try if you're visiting Rockefeller for Holiday activities! Also, try to eat them fresh! We bought them, and held onto them until the evening. Not to say they'll get bad, but we all know cookies taste best fresh from the oven! :)

Woah, I never had Chip City cookies before, and then I heard they have a show under Rockefeller Center in the Catacombs below it, so I decided to explore and find it, my task was made easy when I found a map pointing out the appropriate location. Well, I got there, and one cookie is over $4, but a box of 5 plus 1 free is $22. So I wanted to try the different flavors, and that is what I got. The first surprise was ithe box weight like 5 Lbs, the second was the cookies taste good. No better or worse than the other big-name shops in town. I will go back when they have the Rainbow cookies again.

Chip City is one of the shops waiting for you when you exit 'Top of the Rock'. It's in the Rockerfeller Center along with several restaurants. It's very enticing (especially when you have a sweet tooth). We decided to partake after eating at one of the other establishments. My girlfriend got the chocolate chip cookies hot off the press. The way she was moaning while she ate it led me to to believe it was DELICIOUS! She couldn't wait to get back to the hotel to finish the rest. I ordered the Pecan Pie cookie. It was just okay. A bit hard & dry so.......... maybe I should have got the chocolate chip hot off the press. I only ate half. My plan was to put the rest in the microwave, but I never got around to it. So, my suggestion is, 'get em while they're hot' or warm them up.

The best cookie in New York City. The staff at this store in particular are so kind and so hard working. I am absolutely obsessed with these sweet treats. The cookies and cream crookie basically changed my life. Yay Chip City! Go grab some!

Chip City Rockefeller Center is a tourist heaven for huge delicious cookies. They come with a price but are well worth it. They rotate flavors all the time so you never know what they're going to dream up. I love the standard Chocolate Chip. These days I usually buy one to take home and eat a little every day. The other thing they're great for are parties when I'm in charge of desert! My friends that have children really enjoy Chip City Cookies. I recommend you stop by this location when you're in the neighborhood. I've got a Chip City a few blocks from my apartment. I prefer that location but hey, a cookie CAN NOT be resisted anytime, anyplace!

If this week had a theme it would be chip city cookies! This week I tried the triple chocolate, lemon berry, chocolate chip, and s'mores cookie. My favorite was surprisingly the s'mores cookie. When perfectly warm, wow does this cookie hit. Service is super quick and if you go to the Rockefeller location there's a million other places to sit or walk while enjoying your fresh cookie. It's definitely a go-to cookie spot. There isn't really seating inside, but like I said there are countless places to sit elsewhere. People inside are happy of course since they're serving cookies and the inside of the store is very bright and colorful. I will add, Rockefeller is not a quiet place to enjoy your cookie in peace, so if that's what you want you may have to do some searching for a quiet place!

Great cookies! We had the confetti and the chocolate chip. Both had just come out of the oven and they were amazing. The chocolate chip was a standard recipe. The confetti tasted like birthday cake.

Chip City has hiked their cookie prices (albeit so has the other cookie superstar Levain's) but they are still definitely worth it. The pumpkin spice flavor is average but the cookies and cream flavor reigns supreme. I also got the M&M and regular chocolate chip cookie as well and they were both good. I do miss Chip's different daily menus but it is understandable for the change.

The expansion of Chip City and their consistently amazing and delicious cookies to midtown is obviously an amazing get for both tourists and office workers near 30 Rock. The quality is virtually the same at every location and the staff is very friendly. The chocolate chip is tried and true. The only thing I wish is that their special cookie rotations didn't end so soon (starts on a Friday) so we end up missing on the awesome apple cider flavor!

Love the non dairy vegan options, they are always so good and they rotate them so there's always different ones!

I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this cookie! I expected good but it went beyond that. I picked up a horchata cookie, which basically was a sugar cookie/snickerdoodle and it was amazing

Yet another Chip City is now open, at the dining concourse in Rock Center. An amazing location for offices, etc., which seem to be back somewhat now with life back again down here. It's also a great spot since there aren't other locations nearby (yet). Go get all the amazing cookies, especially the special Strawberry Shortcake.

I haven't been here in person though I have tried a couple of their cookies. I really liked the apple oatmeal cookie which wasn't too sweet and was nice and gooey on the inside. It was basically an oatmeal cookie with an apple filling which I liked. I would like to try some of the other flavors as well.

The customer service at chip city is always welcoming and friendly I always look forward to coming here for a quick treat during my work day/week. The workers here are astonishing worthy of a raise i'd say :).

The xoxo funfetti is my all time favorite!!! Absolutely the best! I hope they have that on the usual and not just during Valentines.

i bought an assortment of 6 cookies here ( chocolate chip, cookies n cream, cherry almond pie, butterscotch toffee, red velvet and blueberry cheesecake) as a gift for someone - they have a buy 5 get one free deal and if you get 6 cookies they will also put it in a box. note that the box is massive and pretty unwieldy, and you will need to pay $2 if you'd like a bag for the box. the cookies are big with gooey middles in levain fashion and they have inventive, fun flavors on rotation. i sampled 3 of the cookies and thought the chocolate chip was good but levain does it better. the cookies n cream was delicious though, i see why it's a crowd pleaser. the middling rating for this location is because of the service. these cookies are pretty expensive even with the slight discount for a half dozen, and the girl at the counter unceremoniously dumped all the cookies in the box without anything to separate them, etc even after i mentioned that this was a gift. the cookies were broken up and smushed together by the time my friend opened the box. i would like to try the cookies n cream cookie again but will probably visit another location.

Love the choices at Chip City, today I got Funfetti for my daughter and a thin oatmeal. But my faves are Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter and Nutella. Always soft and moist, keeps me coming back week to week!

Being a Levain bakery aficionado, fan, and die hard loyalist, it took me a while to rustle up the anything to write a review on this place. Not because this place stinks, the opposite actually, but because I felt like I wasn't being loyal to my dear Levain. However, facts are just facts. I was spending my days and weekends in the office printing, packaging, and delivering tax returns to the client while trying to manager a bunch of people working from home and the client. A partner brought a box of cookies from this place for the people printing the tax returns as a thank you for your work. They offered me a piece and wow! I had a lemon moment and I think I needed to sit down. The cookie was crispy on the edges, soft a few centimeters, and ooey gooey in the middle. It was like three versions of a cookie in one. Having been a chubby kid growing up, I try not to eat as much sweets, but when times are rough... This particular location is also my office... Whenever I have a bad day, especially on Thursdays (to be explained later), I go and get a cookie. These things are PACKED not only in flavor, but very dense in calories so..I really should not, but I still do. Sort of like that ex boy friend you know you shouldn't talk to anymore, but you still do because there is something only to regret it later. I noted Thursdays earlier because they have different cookies every day of the week. Thursday is when they have my all time fave, Funfetti. It is just a sugar cookie moment studded with sprinkles, but something about sprinkles make me so happy. I 100% recommend getting a cookie if you are ever in the area shopping, ice skating, touring Rockefeller center, or whatever. Note: this place is located downstairs. You would have to go inside 30 Rockefeller Center and take the stairs down and make a right to find this place if I am recalling correctly.

It is so dangerous that I work so close to a Chip now! I'm happy they constantly update their Instagram with the weekly menu. So many delicious flavors and they change them up every week. Nice to see they now have locations all over! Now they just have to open in Westchester :)

Went to this place a few months ago - was very difficult to find and the cookies were ok. Quite large so I understand the price but they didn't reheat well. They were so big I couldn't get it evenly warm even following the instructions

This place is a little hard to find, but so worth it. It is in an underground shopping district and definitely took some searching. Once there, the staff was so friendly, asking if we'd ever been there before. Of course, it being my first time to NY, we explained that I'd had Chip City on my Instagram for a couple years now and was one of the first places I'd mentioned to my friend that I'd wanted to try. They were so excited for us and wished us a great trip. We carefully navigated our way back to our hotel so we could try the cookies while they were still warm. The girl that boxed our cookies said the PB&J was her favorite, and I have to say that I 100% agree. It was so gooey and warm and delicious. I don't know if they deliver out of state and if so, whether getting more PB&J cookies is a possibility, but I'm definitely looking into it.

We were walking around the plaza, it was in an underground shopping plaza. So glad we spotted this little gem. Right when you walk in you get the smell of the delicious cookies being baked. WOW, the cookies were amazing! They were warm and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff was super friendly, very helpful and let us know they are always baking! So it's always fresh. We got the confetti, triples chocolate, and chocolate chip. They were all great, I couldn't choose a favorite. It was around $4.50-$5 a cookie. It was definitely worth it for the price. Definitely check out this place, you definitely won't regret it.

My second time at chip city and they are my favorite cookies in the city! I will always make it a point to stop in! This time we tried the cookies and cream and chocolate chip cookies and both were fantastic. My family also tried the banana cream pie which they loved. Last time we had the s'mores and vegan chocolate chip which were also amazing. You definitely need to stop by and grab a cookie! They are huge but I could honestly eat two they are that good!

Walked by and was stopped by the amazing smell. Cookies were fresh and warm and huge. Cookies are thick with the perfect softness and crisp edge. Chocolate chips were gooey to perfection.
