I tried the Smorf, Chocolate Chip, and Oreo cookies from Chip City, and they were all amazing! I usually avoid unrefined sugar, but when it’s my cheat day or PMS time, this place is my first stop! Whether I’m ordering for delivery or rushing there in person, it’s always worth it. Plus, they sometimes have buy-one-get-one-free deals on apps, which makes it even better!

I always forget his name, but a tall gentleman I believe his name is Gosmas or Kosmas is always welcoming and very professional with his service. Overall the entire staff is great. Being a Sunnyside Chip City regular it's always nice to see familiar staff faces. Amazing weekly rotation of cookies that become very addicting, I advise everyone to be careful. I love these cookies. I'm a Cookie Monster at heart. Too many Go-To cookies like PBnJ, Teddi-Fetti, Blueberry Cheesecake, French Toast, but if I had to pick one it would be the Brookie. This location is a definite recommend

Chip City has some of the most delicious cookies I’ve ever had—the perfect balance of gooey and crispy, with flavors that are simply out of this world. But what truly stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. I regret not catching the gentleman’s name, but he was absolutely delightful. He went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable, being both incredibly helpful and accommodating. It’s rare to encounter such genuine kindness and professionalism these days, and it made my visit all the more memorable. Chip City, you’ve won me over not just with your cookies but with your stellar team! Highly recommend.

My son loves chip city. He loves it so much he was all the merchandise they sell at our local store. He just needs and wants a chip city shirt now 😅 It’s a ritual for us to go there once sometimes twice a week. Their cookies are great and staff is always warm and welcoming too.

I love Chip City and their adorable branding! The only complaint I have is them opening so late (2pm during the week and 11am on the weekends) so I never get to try their coffees cuz it’s too late for me to have coffee 😞 I hope they offered decaf at least. Also I really like their thin cookies but they always only have two of each kind and they seem to sell out fast 🥲

Cookies were really good. One big cookie filled me up. They charge too much for the milk in store though.

They open at 2 pm and my son and nephew rushed in to a friendly worker who catered and tolerated the excited kids. Love the vegan cookies.

Updated Review: I stopped by today to get the Galaxy Brownie, since it was the last day to get them. The Galaxy brownie reminds me of the Little Debbie brownies I had growing up. The thin chips are great as well if you don’t what to get the original cookie. I got the confetti and oatmeal. The oatmeal was soft, chewy and delicious! Chip City never fails, cookies are excellent! Chip City Staff is always warm and welcoming!

I remember when Chip City first exploded onto the scene. My partner and I, big cookie heads, always took a huge inhale upon walking into what was at the time the only location. The sweet buttery aroma always smelled like pure bliss, and their huge cookies, which came in flavors like Oatmeal Apple Pie and Red Velvet Cheesecake, always lived up to the promise of a good time. Many years and many locations later, I've grown less excited for the thrill of the cookie chase. Perhaps they haven't scaled too well or perhaps my adult palate can't take this level of sugar anymore, but I'll gladly nibble around the edges of a cookie meant for my partner, for whom nothing is ever too sweet. Bring a box of these to any party or potluck and you're sure to gain some new friends.

Younger brother and I stopped by Chip today, cashier handed the bag to us upside down causing the cookies to fall on the counter , he then informed us that he can't give us new cookies because it was our fault they fell out. Cashiers fault for handing us a bag upside down and it was terrible customer service when he refused to replace the cookies. I've been to other chip locations and the service has always been stellar. Extremely disappointed with the service and treatment we received.

*** 4.5 stars *** In the city of amazing chocolate chip cookies, Chip City is a solid choice. What I like about Chip City vs all the others is that they have a mini size cookie (the lil chips). These are the crispier side vs some of the more doughy competitors, which is my preference. Right up there with Levain.

What a great selection of cookies. I could not decide what to try first, but went with the traditional chocolate chip. Great cookies! Hits the spot and the craving for something sweet and tasty. Cookies galore!! This spot never fails to disappoint with the flavors; the berry one was very interesting; it really did taste like a pop tart. Always love the chocolate chip as well as the triple choco chip. Glad they opened up this location in the area

They have best cookies around. My kids and I love going Chip City. All their cookies taste amazing. My kids love the black and white, I love the blueberry cookie and my wife loves the Nutella.

Came for National Cookie day! Got a free triple chocolate cookie if you order from the app and use the promo code. Cookies are huge! I was worried it would be too dense; however, I was presently surprised that it had the perfect outer bite and still moist on the inside. To make it a bit better, I recommend popping it in the microwave for 10sec and it was so oozy and delicious.

Cookies are always fantastic. As soon as you walk in the store the aroma smacks you in the face in the best way. Thick Triple Chocolate needs to be available always.

Jaiden and Andrew were great! Highly recommend. Everything was delicious! I would make sure you use Uber eats to order from them delivery or pick up.

The cookies are great, and I always gotta come back for the new flavors. I'm always impressed how they stick the landing on their theme cookies. Even more out there flavors like cornbread or sweet potato always nail it. Coffee is good too but tbh, you know what you're going for

Good cookies, my favorite is the chocolate chip. Others are just ok. The staff was very helpful and patient explaining the different flavors.

This is the 6th location. Now I don't have to travel to the Astoria's 2 locations or Long Island City's location. This location is located near the 40th St train station between Queens Blvd and 47 St (closer to Queens Blvd). This place might be smaller than the other Chip City locations I been to. It still only allows 1 person in the store at a time. The employees in this location are friendly. There is 5-6 customers in front of me. Unfortunately, all the cookies are gone. They are in the process of baking the cookies and would be ready in 30 minutes. Thank you to the employees for getting my treats ready when I return. One cookie can be like two meals. The cookies are cake-like and not thin. 4 flavors each day and the flavors are not always the same. Check their website or Instagram for the flavors to make sure it's what you are looking for. Christmas Eve's flavors: Chocolate Chip - the basic - a bit sweet for me. Chocolate Peppermint Crinkle - I was surprised that I liked this. It was a mix of peppermint candy and chocolate. Fa La La La Funfetti - the basic - a sugar cookie that was a bit too sweet to me. Red Velvet Hot Chocolate - This has got chocolate filling in the cookie. Each cookie is $4. Bonus: Buy 5 cookies, Get 1 free ($20). If you like cookies like I do, give them a try.

Had to see for myself what all the chatter was regarding Chip City and I can assure you it lives up to the hype! This is a tiny cookie shop right off of Queens Blvd. Due to Covid restrictions they only allow one person in at a time. Each day they only have a limited variety of cookies, on the day we visited we decided to go with a classic, chocolate chip and a more unique option oatmeal apple pie -- wow! Personally, I'm not too into sweets where I find myself almost always going for the savory options, this day I'm glad I strayed from my usual. These cookies are large and in charge! The chocolate chip, my personal fav was really amazing, I ate it over the course of a day, warming it up and savoring each nibble. The oatmeal apple pie was equally as scrumptious as the chocolate chip. Take a cookie to go, warm it up and enjoy. These cookies will not let you down. Shout out to the employee who helped me make my decision.

I've never had chip before, but have heard amazing things about the place. So, when I heard that there's going to be one in my neighborhood, I jumped at the chance to try it. The line looks to be long, but it isnt too bad as it goes pretty fast. Due to covid restrictions, only one customer can enter at a time. I tried out the four chips which are on the menu for today and it is very moist. I like the directions that they add with the cookies, just in case you would like it to be warm for when you bite into the decadent cookie.

I live a block away and this is such a temping stop off. The cookies aren't so cheap but it's hot and fresh and nice and big. It's a great special treat.

Great spot for a quick snack, and I love the assortment of cookies everytime. But we always go hoping to see the blueberry cheesecake. Please bring that back!

I've walked two miles roundtrip during a snowstorm to get Chip's strawberries n 'cream cookie. Was worth it? Absolutely - I don't even LIKE cookies and I did this TWICE in a row. Portion sizing is perfect, and to be honest, I think their cookies are comparable to Levain's in terms of texture and flavor, and I love that they're not too sweet but actually flavorful. My favorite flavors so far have been choco-chip, their plant-based choco-chip, nutella sea salt (I don't even like chocolate or nutella), oatmeal apple pie, glazed pear, or any of their cookies with cream cheese. Definitely follow ChipNYC's Instagram to keep track of their weekly flavors and promos! The bonus of this location is that there's a good chance that your flavor is still in stock even late at night, which doesn't always happen with the other locations.

I came here after a friend recommended it to me. The Sunnyside location is a small storefront where you can get takeout and you can order online too. They have a variety of unique flavors to pick from and even have a vegan option. Each cookie is $4 but there's also a 6 for $20 deal. I got the Blueberry Cheesecake ($4) and the texture was kind of comparable to a scone. The cookie itself was more crumbly than chewy and the cheese filling gave the cookie its gooeyness. Many people compare Chip City with Levain and I personally prefer the texture and flavor of Levain's cookies, but I like that Chip City has a multipack deal and more unique flavor combinations. TLDR: Cookies with unique flavor combinations and buy 6 for $20!

I been wanting to go to their Astoria location for awhile now but never had made it. When I heard they were opening a location near my place I was super happy. Went on opening day and there was a line of about 20 people. They only allow one person in the store at a time. Cookies aren't cheap $3.50 each but they are pretty large, it's hard to eat one by yourself but if you can no judgement :) They have four different flavors every week. This particular week they had chocolate chip, red velvet, confetti and something with mint. I decided to get the chocolate chip and red velvet. I was very surprised how much I really enjoyed the red velvet one since usually I'm not a fan of that flavor. I even dare to say the red velvet was better than the chocolate chip. Both cookies were delicious, warm with gooey chocolate. I can't wait to go a different week to see their other selections. What a great addition to the neighborhood.

Honestly, it's almost impossible to go wrong with any of Chip City's cookies. I'm so thrilled to have a location open up in Sunnyside! They have their COVID-19 restrictions in place, where you must wear a mask and only one customer is allowed at a time. They have four flavors at the moment- funfetti, red velvet hot chocolate, peppermint, and of course, their classic chocolate chip. I'm absolutely in love with the funfetti because that's my favorite flavor for anything.I haven't tried their coffee or other drinks yet, but I'm willing to make a trip back The staff is very friendly the bakery itself is awesome. They're also giving one cookie on the house for their grand opening! Be sure to get there as soon as you can- the line is long! (But 100% worth the wait).

I've booked this place and waited for the hype to calm but I guess it won't so I lined up and grabbed me some cookies Now I understand the long waiting line . Cookies are beyond delicious. I'm a baker and can appreciate good cookies. If you have a chance stop by brave the line and enjoy the cookies. Support local businesses!

It's been a while since I've written any reviews due to COVID ruining many things and me not having time to go anywhere after a long day at work. BUT! This place... Is on my way back home... So, why not? Let me just start off with how many times I've been there so far. 6 times. They've been open for 5 days now. 'nuff said. But seriously, they're sooo goooood. So very warm, super gooey on the inside (but not so gooey where you question whether it's edible or not) and crunchy on the outside (but not so crunchy where it feels burnt or dry af). They're huge cookies, for $4 a cookie it's not so bad. You could share a cookie. But why would you do that? Each day they have different cookies on rotation. Chocolate chip is usually on the menu everyday, with the occasional chocolate chip with walnut instead. Yeah they have other stuff on their menu, like drinks, but we all know you're going for the cookie. I've tried *red velvet hot chocolate (perfect for chocolate lovers, it's a UNFF of chocolate in every bite), *funfetti (like a sugar cookie but with a personality that sings), blueberry cheesecake (instant favorite, it's two of my fave desserts in one form), white chocolate cranberry oat (this does count as a fruit, it's healthy, don't argue it), white chocolate macadamia (remember when Subway cookies were all that and a bag of chips? Yeah me neither, I don't know her), PB& J (wooow yes, if you love PB, this is it for you), and of course regular Chocolate Chip--the OG. I have yet to try every single flavor, but I'll get there eventually. *Flavors marked with a star are holiday flavors. Insomnia cookies are their own kind of addictive. We all know there's a pinch of crack...ed love in that recipe. But these... These Chip cookies... It's made with that love you never knew existed til you tried it.

My favorite cookies! I love chip city and glad they're more closer to me now. I created an account online and place the order then pick it up. No hassle and got this four delicious cookies on time. I'm glad we don't have to wait because I've been in their Astoria branch a few times but we always ended up waiting on line and wait for a new batch. But this place is pretty good. No stress. Haha. Its freshly baked, soft and delicious! When I crave for sweet treat this is my spot!

4 stars off as one of the employees at the register did not wear her mask over her mouth and nose although she spoke to us and her colleague. If not for the irresponsible and inconsiderate health safety issue by employee ( do not take my word for it, check your video footage), this place deserves 5 stars as the cookies are amazing and staff service is good. The new omicron variant has been contracted by fully vaccinated ppl including 3rd jabbed in NY. If shops in NYC or anywhere in the world want to stay in business pls stay apprised of the most recent news and science regarding covid. Cornell University campus shutting down today is a clear example that no one is off the hook to have a properly worn mask to stop the spread of covid as all NY universities require full vaccination to even enter campus.

Stopped by last night for their grand opening and super glad I did. You got a free cookie with any purchase so I tried two of their holiday flavors, Red Velvet Hot Chocolate and Falalala Funfetti. Not sure why but they both had a slight peppery taste to them and I don't think its from the cookie...maybe the box or sheets they were on? Super weird but the cookies tasted great regardless. The Red Velvet Hot Chocolate fell apart really easily and was very gooey. It surprisingly didn't have a huge chocolatey flavor which meant I devoured it instantaneously. I really liked the Falalala Funfetti because it tasted like a crispy cake. It's the same as their Rainbow Funfetti cookie but with Christmas themed sprinkles. In comparison to the other locations, its not as aesthetically pleasing. It's very white but I'm sure they'll have more décor up soon. It's right next to the train station which makes it very convenient. All the workers were friendly and wearing masks. Only one customer allowed at a time. No indoor seating (but most of their locations don't). Honestly, their cookies are great no matter which location. Try the Chocolate Peanut Butter!

Loveeeee it! This shop is such a welcomed addition to Sunnyside. I have tried their cookies at all their other locations and always loved the majority of flavors they offer. I used to bring a box of their cookies into work and share them with my coworkers weekly before the pandemic. It always cheered everyone up (especially the plus size secretary that was eating her feelings away). Everyone always asked where i got them from and i was happy to share to help their business out. I would advertise for them endlessly. Anyways, I was dying to try the cinnamon flavored cookie, which for some reason was only offered in Manhattan during the grand opening and in Brooklyn. They refused to carry it at any other location till a week ago. I made sure to order as much as i could. It was to die for. A total winner. Bursting with flavor, cookie was soft and moist. The hit of vanilla with cinnamon just did the trick. I have to say, I was a bit surprised by cookie "discrimination" during a pandemic. Yes, cookie biased exist. Businesses are going under and here they decide to continually only offer the flavor in Brooklyn. So glad they decided to offer it everywhere. People can't travel through multiple boroughs for a new cookie flavor, but i digress. I wish this flavor was a standard on the menu. I would get it everyday. My only small complaint is at times, their cookies can be a bit too soft and not cooked all the way. There is a difference between moist and "soggy". Some people may not know the difference and looking up the definition in the dictionary wouldn't hurt. I always ask for a well done cookie on the corners of the tray that get more heat. I don't want to eat a cookie the size of a McDonalds big mac and then have it immediately fall apart as soon as i pick it up. Please check this place out and support them. I almost feel like they are making Sunnyside upscale and posh! Wish they were directly on Queens Blvd and not the side street. Support local businesses in these uncertain times. Love ya guys!

These cookies did not disappoint. Everyday, they have four flavors to choose from. When we went there was thankfully no line. We had two chocolate chip cookies and they were scrumptious! They were nice, warm and so soft. They were perfect. I want to say this is the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever had! They also have the option of purchasing pre made dough and baking them at home. I'm excited to try other ones!

Honestly, the best cookies in NY. I love their funfetti and lots of their specialties. If they have the rainbow cookie, it's a must try. They're open late, so you can pop in and grab a late night snack. They also have coffees, which I haven't tried.

I am updating and giving Chip Sunnyside a 5 star because I keep going back and I know every flavor is not going to be a homerun. I think initially I was just so disappointed with that one flavor. Anyways, the people that work there are always so friendly and going to Chip is just such a treat for me. Also, adding to favs: Red Velvet (where have you been all my life?!!) & Lemon Berry (omg )

The latest Chip City location! Similar to the other locations, it's quaint and small, but the cookies are amazing. If you know Chip, you know the cookies are going to be good. They were serving all the classics (Chocolate Chip, Sugar, Chocolate Chip Walnut) with all the fun holiday flavors (Funfetti, Chocolate Peppermint, Red Velvet). The line is worth the wait at every location. The cookies are big, warm, and delicious!

I also went a few days ago at 9:15pm and they didn't have any cookies made and I asked if they had more and they said no. I love this place but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I really enjoy Chip. Fresh and delicious cookies. My favorite is the classic chocolate chip, although the speciality cookies are fun to try as well.

The cookies here are SO good. They are soft, well portioned and incredibly tasty. The best part is that their menu changes daily; and, often times I find myself visiting ok consecutive days because there's usually something different from the day before that tickles my tastebuds!

Cute, tiny shop located less than a block from the 40th St 7 train stop. 1cistoker inside at a time.Friendly staff, cookies are $4 each, and it seems like they do a small discount if you pay cash. I only tried the funfetti and pb&j cookies, both were good, but not amazing. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them if I'm being honest. It also seems they serve all their cookies warm here, which is a nice touch, albeit a bit gimmicky. If your cookies are bomb, then they're bomb at all temps ‍

Cookies are really good, but sometimes inconsistent. Sometimes cookies that are not supposed to be soft in the middle such as chocolate chip or white chocolate are raw/underdone when you tear them in half.

The cookies are sooo good, chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside best of both worlds. The staff is also really nice and welcoming, and the location is really convenient since it's right across the 40th train station.

Dark hot chocolate barely had a hint of chocolate. 4 flavors of cookies available. They were okay. Not great if not eaten warm and fresh out of the oven.

I've been reading reviews on facebook for a while now and finally had a chance to try Chip City's cookies. My husband, who thinks he doesn't like ginger, really fell for the pear cookie. I was knocked over by all of them. We bought some extras to take back upstate with us to share with friends but ended up eating them all.
