Chip City never disappoints! I loved this one too! I’ve been to the one in Brooklyn and came to the Bleecker St location to see if there was a difference and they’re both great!!! My friend forced me to go to the other TikTok trending cookie place, she bought cookies and regretted after eating them, I treated her with Chip City cookies and she was sold! I hope TikTokers don’t ruin my favorite cookie shop. And I love the membership for points! I got a free cookie!

My first time here! I was overwhelmed with all the amazing cookie choices. The staff are so friendly and they appreciated my excitement! I like that the cookies are not overly sweet at Chip City so you don't feel bad but your sweet tooth is fulfilled. The cookies are large, fresh, and warm.

I was in NYC and wanted to try some new places for chocolate chip cookies and online people had suggested Chip City so decided to check them out. I got the chocolate chip, milk chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter and confetti. the chocolate and milk chocolate were good, the confetti was decent and the chocolate peanut butter was alright. I also got a hot chocolate which was not good. the cookie size was very big and the flavor was good. overall a good choice for cookies

The cashier was extremely friendly and gave us suggestions on popular options and her personal fav! I liked that the cookies were warm and slightly crispy. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll def be coming back for more cookies 😋 my favorite was the regular chocolate chip and the cookie butter.

I was super impressed by these cookies! They were served to us warm and gooey. They are pretty comparable to the famous Levain cookies in terms of size and texture, but there is even more variety in the flavors on a weekly basis. On top of it all, eating a whole cookie in a single sitting is borderline infeasible with how big these cookies are. We will definitely be returning to try more flavors soon!

Very good cookies. Very satisfied. Service was quick and efficient. Compared to other bakeries in this neighborhood, the cookies are a great price. Nothing to complain about. Staff is efficient and the interior was clean. We ordered online to do a pick up so we can get 20% off our first order . I returned to buy multiple cookies for colleagues and home staff. While I'm vegan so the cookies are limited for me, the variety was perfect for others. One told me that it was the best cookie he's ever had! I cut them into 1/4 pieces and all but 1/2 of 6 cookies were gone by end of day. So I had to update my review to reflect the satisfaction of others. I also want to again compliment the friendly staff.

If this wasn't the best cookie I've ever had in my life!! Upon walking in, you're immediately met with the most delicious smell. It's so enticing that this is the response of everyone who enters "god, it smells so delicious!". It doesn't stop there, tho. The cookies absolutely stand up to the aroma. With your traditional flavors such as chocolate chip, peanut butter, triple chocolate. To fan favorites like cookie butter , s'mores and galaxy brownie. We couldn't get enough! I tried the cookie butter with biscoff, made with biscoff and topped with the perfect amount of powdered sugar. It was warm, crunchy, gooey in the middle, and HUGE! I could hardly fit it in my mouth, but I definitely tried to inhale it! lol 5 stars!!

This is an unfair review mainly because I'm ideologically opposed to the idea of a cookie-specific bakery. My hot take is that cookies place in a bakery is as a side show. They're there if you can't make up your mind and just want to put a stick of butter in your face. But to orient your whole business around bad decision-making ability...well, maybe that's actually a successful model. These cookies are particularly offensive because they're cakes. Flat, structureless cakes. They taste like what would happen if you got impatient with Pillsbury and took it out of the oven. Maybe you got ambitious and threw a bunch of marshmellows on top and called it "Mount Marshmellow". It's a lazy idea surrounded by hundreds of better options. Why is this a thing?

Picked up the limited edition eggo waffle cookies here! Service was fast and friendly and the woman at the counter advised us to try them as they were only available that weekend. We enjoyed them-- a nice blueberry taste on the inside. We got the brookie as well which was good!

What I ordered: - Cookies N Cream - White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie - Hot Honey cornbread Cookie I have always loved Chip City & I love to get their favorite selection of the day when I do go. I highly recommend the S'mores Cookie (I didn't get it but my favorite to go to) and the Cookies N Cream. They weren't as sweet as you imagine it to be which is great. The other two cookie weren't my favorite as they were a bit too sweet for my taste and the favor was a bit overpowering. But this is definitely one of my favorite cookie places! Check it out if you haven't yet. The service was quick and gave great recommendations. The place was decorated so nicely too with pretty colors and eye catching items / displays.

I was looking for businesses that had fall season menus- in particular Pumpkin spice flavored things I saw that chip city had a pumpkin spice cookie and knew I had to try it. I ordered one pumpkin spice cookie - the cookie is quite dense and when I bit into it, I was overwhelmingly surprised with how good the cookie was. The flavors are 10/10 and surprisingly not overly sweet. The cookie was amazing,. The person at the counter also was very friendly and explained how the menu changes every week for some of their cookies. Friendly service and great cookies :) Excited to come back to try more flavors, seriously a must try if in the area!

High tier cookies similar to Levain and Crumbl. They're big and have firm outsides and liquidy insides. They're more like lava cookies rather Levain which has a gradient of internal solidity. Like Crumbl, they have both a permanent and weekly cookie menu. I had the cookie butter cookie with Biscoff butter inside ($5.99) for free with Liz's birthday deal. It had a muffiny consistency and taste with Biscoff flavored cream inside. I love Biscoff, so it was heavenly. It seemed more like a filled muffin than a cookie, but I would get it again.

Y U M ! If you're craving a warm, not too gooey cookie, you gotta come here! All the cookie selections of the day are served to you warm. I love coming here whenever I want a warm cookie. My favorite is the red velvet so far. The Oreo is yummy and they all are, really; depending on your preferences! I wasn't a huge fan of the fluffernutter. Service is always great; welcoming, warm (like the cookies! lol), and friendly. It's a small place with two tables but comfy and cozy enough if you'd like to just sit and snack on your cookie then and there but also located in a great spot in Hoboken to take a walk around the neighborhood. It's on street parking, no parking lot.

These cookies are good, but I was honestly a bit disappointed. They didn't taste fresh and were kind of dry. Maybe I should come back in the morning when they're fresh. I liked how big the cookies were and the flavors were spot on. The service was very good and the location is super cute.

Orgasmic cookies! Had the s'mores and strawberry shortcake cookies, both warm and amazing taste/texture/flavor. Note if you sign up to their program you get a free scoop of ice cream--if you can handle more sugar--yes please! Run don't walk to try your fav flavor. Sad they do not have this in my state currently...

Cookies are huge and delicious. What a wonderful combination . Service was ok. She could have been a little more pleasant but not too bad. Small shop but It smelled so amazing in there as soon as you entered. There is no way you could walk out without getting a few cookies.

Can I give 10 stars instead of 5? Maybe it's the fact that chip city is so inclusive that I'm actually so in love ?! Call me crazy but chip city is 10x better than Crumbl just because they have dairy free options ! These cookies are soooo delicious, I wish I could have them every day! The workers here are so nice and so quick, always good service. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the smell of heaven and it's so cutely decorated inside... you may catch me here alotttttt... can I just rent a spot and stay here lol?!

Came here for a sweet treat after dinner on a Sunday. There were 4 other customers in there and two that came after us. They don't have a lot of seating inside and the seats were taken by other parties. Luckily, one party left and we got to sit inside (it was raining outside). The employees were nice and kind. We got some midnight treats cookie or something like that, and it was warm and soft in the center and crispy on the edges. It was pretty good! They also sell milk, which is very smart . Would definitely come back if I had the chance.

Awful awful awful . Not even close to worth $36 and waiting for an hour and a half for delivery plus getting cussed out by the guy at the front desk telling me that he couldn't do anything because I didn't order directly through them that I ordered through Uber when I most definetly went to their website, clicked order delivery, selected my options and payed. Thought it was a scam until it finally arrived 1.5 hours later , cold , all except the milk which is warm. Thanks so much for the crap food and crap service

Heard good things about Chip City and how it was a contender to Levain's cookies, so I had to come by to try it. Got a chocolate chip cookie. Definitely ooey-gooey on the inside with the chocolate chips melted. The exterior was crunchy which was great. However, it got too sweet for me halfway through. Also made me a bit thirsty. Definitely have to pair it with a drink. While I do think it's on par with Levain, I don't think I would come back for the chocolate chip cookie specifically. They have a rotating selection of cookies, and I do want to try their horchata cookie one day.

Okay so... finally decided to try this 'tiktok famous' bakery. As you might expect, you'll pay a premium for the cookies here, as they are larger (and more caloric) than your average chocolate chip cookie. My partner and I tried two - the double chocolate and the classic chocolate chip. The price is $4.75+tax per cookie, and each cookie is 4 servings at 180-220 calories per serving. So basically, 1 cookie = a whole meal. Let's not think about all that The taste: Warm, gooey, perfect balance of sweetness and buttery cookie flavor. If I were to pick one to go for again, I preferred the regular chocolate chip as it was not as sweet as the double chocolate. No surprise there. They do have some adventurous flavors like horchata and sweet potato s'mores available, but at the price point, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. If I'm sharing the cookie with two or three friends, then fair play. But who wants just a fourth of a cookie? They're just too large for me to consciously enjoy as a dessert after a meal, and probably not as good cold as they are when they're fresh and warm from the shop. The ambiance of this location was very clean and tidy. The worker behind the counter was patient and kind. Not much seating available, but there are a few window ledge seats. It's more of a to-go spot in my opinion. Definitely worth a try if you love cookies.

This was my first visit of this chain. Got the chocolate chip cookie and the dark chocolate peanut butter cookie. These things are huge! One cookie is a meal for an adult... so decadent. I'll be back for sure.

The s'mores is delicious! Chocolate chip too. I ordered through Ubereats and they were delivered promptly, arrived still warm. I enjoyed them with a nice cup of cold milk they were absolutely, absolutely scrumptious. The cookies are so thick, crispy on the outside, soft and well done in the middle, just the way I love them. The price is also very inexpensive especially considering how much cookie you're getting and also did I mention, how delicious they are. You're definitely getting a bang for your buck. I've had cookies from Crumbl, Levain, and Insomnia but these are by far the best. Hand down! I'll definitely be ordering again.

Came here and got the chocolate chip cookie and the funfetti cookie. Honestly, both were pretty decent, on the mid-upper end of good cookies within New York. They were both hefty cookies, with a very cake-like consistency inside. There was good textural contrast between crisp bottom and the softer inside. I would say that we enjoyed the funfetti cookie overall a little bit more than the chocolate chip (even though we were all chocolate chip fans). We felt that the given the saturation in the chocolate chip market, we expect only the highest from that particular cookie. Funfetti is not a super common cookie flavor, so maybe there were less comparisons to be made, but we felt like it was moderately more enjoyable than the other. Overall, a decent experience, so I will give it a 3.5/5 stars.

I've been to CC since it was chip NYC in queens! I would travel all the way there just for these cookies. However, the service has never been good: unfriendly and unhelpful usually. I didn't care. What I do care about is leaving a review when there was an absolutely awesome person behind the counter, and I remember his name--Ranny! He was enthusiastic, helpful, even put a few cookies in a separate box so it doesn't get ruined. What a lovely person. Thank you!!!

Delicious cookies in the West Village. The shop is small but smells delicious when you walk in. They have their normal flavors they always have and then monthly specials. The teddy bear cookie is a must!

Had a late night hankering for the "perfect" chocolate chip cookie in the Flatiron/Chelsea/West Village area. It was after 6pm on a Saturday so all the choice were dwindled down to two that remained open: Chip City (closes at 11pm) and Mah-Ze Dahr Bakery (closes at 9pm). I mean, you'd think at this time of the evening on a weekend in the busiest city in the world that more would be open as tourists and locals alike start coming out of the woodwork from their home offices, hotel rooms and airports to venture into the streets desiring to bump into things like the "best" chocolate chip cookie in town! Sadly, in this tight 4 mile radius, only these two were open past 6pm. So here it goes. Firstly, both servers at each establishment were easy-going, friendly, enthusiastic about their chip being the best in town so they tied at 10/10 for customer service. Chip City interior focuses on the cookies on the aluminum pan, like this place was designed by a freshman in college who just didn't give a *hit, but it works. It's spacious and you can't miss it. It's at the corner of Bleecker, Barrow and Seventh Ave S. Because Chip City closes much later (11pm) and it was only past near 8pm, the empty cookie sheet was getting filled by a new fresh batch of their "for a limited time" cookie (I forget the name of it), but the point is that this is as fresh as you can get... nearing 8pm and they are still baking cookies out of the oven!!!! I did go for the original chocolate chip cookie and it wasn't too sweet. My first thought was ... woowh, this cookie feels like it weigh about a tonne. I was looking for some chewy, goowy choc cookie and that is exactly what I got. LOVE IT. However, after a few bits, I feel like taking a break because it is quite heavy in the belly. Thankfully, with cookies, you can place them in a Tupperware or ziplock and lasts for a week at least. The Chip City Cookie is more than double the cost of the Mah-Ze Dahr cookie: $4.50 vs $2.40, but it also weighs a tonne while the Mah-Ze Dahr is like the interior of their space, dainty and refined. If you'd like to hear about the Mah-Ze Dahr Chocolate Explosion Cookie experience, I'll see you on the other side. YES to this Choc Chip cookie, regardless of a late night hankering. It's one of the best in the city. I think Levain's cookies are just as weighty, but a tonne sweeter too so I prefer the Chip City compared to Levain's.

Surprisingly my first time trying out Chip City. I got what the staff recommended for the first timer, Chocolate Chip ($4.75). They're kept warm and they're made fresh. The chocolate are not melty in the center like Levain's, but they're a great treat to have. Still favor Levains as the best cookies in NYC. Will have to try the other flavors some other time.

If you love sweets and creativity this is the place for you. I absolutely love their selection of giant sized gourmet somewhere in between cake and a cookie. They have your iconic chocolate chip to renditions of pumpkin pie, banana pudding, blueberry and more. This is a win win for any day surprise someone with a box for Thanksgiving

Inevitable comparisons to Levain aside, is there really that much that can distinguish THICK, GOOEY, FRESHLY BAKED COOKIES? In all honesty no, you know exactly what you're getting yourself into, and you can't lose either way The Chocolate Chip - a classic, a must order, and ultimately the best cookie I had out of 4 The Horchata - spicy cinnamon with a surprising and delightful condensed milk cream in the middle. Never thought I'd find a better version of a Costco churro but here it is. Peppermint Hot Chocolate - ooey gooey and so refreshing, it's like melting the polar ice caps and freezing them again in one bite Macadamia - can't remember, but again if it's hot, fresh, and thick, fluffy but crunchy on the outside you can't go wrong!

Way, way too many calories. Management, please make a cookie half the size or less. Charge $3.50 if you like. Currently 700 - 800 calories per cookie - this is the amount of calories in a large meal, but, most of your customers don't know that. Your sign says "180 calories per serving" for chocolate chip cookies. Most people don't see the fine print "4 servings per cookie". Customers just wolf down the whole cookie thinking it's a dessert. It's not a dessert. It's an entire meal in terms of calories.

Being a chocolate chip (self proclaimed) connoisseur I had high expectations. The cookie itself is good but I felt it to be too doughy. I like it better when there is a good ratio of chocolate chips to dough.

First time trying Chip City and overall wasn't much of a fan. The cookies n' cream and pumpkin spice latte cookies had way too much flour in them.....dry and it's like I could almost taste raw flour. The monster chip was much better as it tasted more smooth and had a soft center.....but I still wished that a better chocolate than M&M's was used (now this part may be me just being too pretentious). Cookie flavors are on a week rotation but based on the cookies that I tried I'm reluctant to try more of them.

The cookies here are sooo soft and melt in your mouth. Tasty and chewy. Great dessert for after dinner :)

Went for dessert on Friday night after dinner around 10:30 PM and was a bit disappointed with the selection of cookies left although it was definitely understandable as they were closing in the next 30 minutes but would probably not come back to chip city this late in the night again. We did manage to get the last frootie crunch which was really good! The selection included that one and wild berry strudel and horchata.

Cookie goodness in many different flavors!! What more could you ask for? These cookies are huge!!! Like 2 people could enjoy 1.

I heard a lot of hype for Chip City but I was pretty disappointed. The only one I kind of enjoyed was the White Chocolate Macadamia. I know people probably compare this place to Levain a lot, and I'm going to do exactly the same hahaha. I expected Chip City to be on par with Levain, if not better, but the cookies were pretty one-dimensional in flavor. They reminded me of cookies you get at a chain supermarket, only bigger. I 100% prefer Levain over Chip City. I prefer Levain's chunkier and oatmeal-y chocolate chip cookies. The Oreo cookie was too sweet and I wish it had like white chocolate or something to give it some texture. The Eclair cookie might have been my least favorite because it was just sweet on top of sweet with one monotonous texture. I love their branding and the staff was nice, but man these cookies are overrated :(

Never thought I would be shelling out $10 for 2 cookies but here I am and I have been back for more. These cookies are the size and shape of a biscuit so it's worth it. I've had the classic chocolate chip, cookies and cream, triple chocolate, and the cornbread cookie (with hot honey). All are delicious. Great for self care.

The cookies at this particular location are on steroids (and I mean this with the upmost positivity). They are HUGE and it is spectacular. Paying basically five bucks per cookie is justified by the size of these whereas at other spots (cough cough forest hills where I frequent most often) it looks like they're on some budget and skimping. Heads up about the good humor ice cream bar flavors. They're about 7 bucks paid in cash and more paid in card so they're a lot more expensive than the standard flavors on rotation weekly.

I've heard this spot is comparable or even better than Levain, and looking at the pictures the cookie here looked more gooey and appealing. I ordered the basic chocolate chip, and it had a firm outer shell and ooey gooey center. I really enjoyed every bite and it's not overly sweet. My brother has tried Levain and was there to attest that Chip City "takes the cookie". If you're a fan of thick, gooey cookies, you've got to try Chip City.

MY FAVORITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE EVER Chip city knows exactly what they are doing!! I'd recommend going earlier in the day so that you get all your different cookie flavors. They do fresh batches throughout the day but if you go at night some flavors may be sold out. I always dream about their chocolate chip cookie because it's the perfect amount of crispy on the outside but ooey gooey on the inside. SO DELICIOUS

Chip city is one of my favorite cookie spots!! They're freshly baked and literally melts in your mouth. If you enjoy soft, gooey cookies, chip city is where it's at! They do 4 different flavors everyday FYI! Also if you order 5 cookies, you get one free. You're welcome.
