Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle has been consistently good at every chain spot that they have. I ordered a salad bowl greens, grilled vegetables, no rice, no beans, half chicken, half beef, light sour cream, light cheese, and finished off guacamole. It was delicious and a good dinner to keep me filled. I’d definitely come back to this spot again when I need a quick bite. Parking is limited to street or paid parking at a lot nearby.

Good place to eat a healthier meal. One bad thing is the owners (corporate) are cheap and do not offer a military discount. Almost every other restaurant we eat at offers a military discount and if not they adjust it to make it a senior discount.

One of the best Mexican grill ever in downtown LA. The food was premium quality, the staff were friendly and supportive. The place is clean tidy and organized. They deserve all the best.

Fast service, great portion, fresh ingredients!

I had a fantastic experience at Chipotle thanks to Andrew! From the moment I approached the counter, he greeted me with a warm smile and was incredibly patient while I decided what to order. He offered helpful suggestions without being pushy, which made the whole process enjoyable. When it came time to build my bowl, Andrew made sure I received generous portions of everything I wanted, showing that he takes pride in his work. Overall, his excellent service and attention to detail made my visit memorable. Thank you, Andrew, for going above and beyond—I’ll definitely be back!

They were short in selection when visited in the morning. But had no prob. 👍

We travelled to US from India and we found this good option for indians too.. We has with rice chicken and beans.. If you are vegetarian you can try this ans ask them not to mix meat.. This was my favorite.. But they need to maintain time to time cleaning of tables and floor.

Incredibly disappointed that the employee who prepared my order definitely noticed they burnt my food and still decided to pack it and hand it to me. Since it was an app pick up by the time I opened my food to notice it was burnt, it was not feasible to go back and complain/request it to be remade.

Not the best chipotle to go to. Went last night for dinner. They were basically out of black beans. Go there if you have to, but lots of other good options in DTLA.

Just ordered a double steak and chicken bowl and it had the worst quality meat ever. It was so chewy and inedible. This is possibly the worst Chipotle location, Coke Zero dispenser never works and the food is consistently terrible. Wasted a Chipotle gift card that I got for Christmas and regretting it. UPDATE: Chipotle manager responds here letting me know they can help me and when I go on the website to be helped, they tell me they can't help without my receipt. Which I no longer have, so I guess they still can't help me.

I go here for lunch most of the time since I work 2 minutes away the employees here are so rude and always with an attitude I walk in there's no line but they're chit chatting looking at me like if I'm interrupting them the cashier asked me to repeat my order mind you her coworker had told her and chose to ignore it they all had an attitude they all need to quit if they don't like they're job it clearly shows lol they make me not enjoy my food the food is good it's really just the environment and the vibe it's so gross !

Food wasn't bad but..... Dining room was filthy. Area behind the counter was filthy. Lots of food trays were low and food looked dried out and old. Fight of some kind going on in the dining room. Worker took off her apron threw it on the counter and walked into the dining room. I didn't see where she went but she came back a couple minutes later cussing out loud and put her apron back on. Security guard roaming which tells you all you need to know about this location. Customer service was nonexistent. People should find other work if they don't like what they do. Keep walking past this place if you know what's good for you.

My daughter just started working here. Tell me why her two female mangers are not treating her equally here. This is her first fast food job- and is still learning. She got punished by being put to the side, as she watched a her coworkers work. Is it because she wasn't fast enough? Is it because you don't like her? There was no explanation given to her l, as to why she was pulled aside to do nothing! No professionalism here with these mangers! These managers told her that they don't need her today, that there is no sales and needing to cut labor! I don't think so......be careful how you treat employees! I can report you to DIR!

Got two bowls from this chipotle half hour ago, chicken is over cooked in both bowls, thanks a lot lol Next time if your cook over cook chicken - throw that in trash and don't let your customer get this meat

The food was good and the service was fast. Prices were also reasonable at $9 a bowl. That was an excellent chipotle till I used the amenities. After that I noticed that lines can be long at select times. Then comes the bad part, the restroom code of the receipt wad wrong. One of the bathrooms was down for maintenance and the bathrooms smelled really bad with no toliet paper in the back or anywhere. I thought this going to be a decent chipotle after I ordered but this needs work. (It's a downtown location so expect inefficiencies I guess)

Got food poisoning here on June 2. I'll never eat here again, apparently it's not "made fresh" here after all.

This is the most unsanitary Chipotle I've ever seeen. The employees do not care in the slightest about the customer. Let's be honest, corporate doesn't care about this location because it's an area in downtown where stores are closing all around it. I feel disgusted when I pick up and look at the conditions behind the counter. The smell in the restaurant is also off putting. Years ago this location used to be clean but now they've really let go. Oh and don't drink the soda. Homeless sneak in and use the machines to fill their bottles. Nasty!

As a former employee at this location, I had last received my check from manger Monica and deposit it into my account the same day April 26 on May 3 I logged into my bank account and noticed that on April 30 the money that I work for was taking out as "item charge back". No one from chipotle or HR have reached out to me. There no number to call them directly.

the service here is unacceptable I order from here all the time & at night time I'm off at 10:30 I work up the street and always come by 10:40 to this location an get turned away EVERY SINGLE TIME. It was 10:40 and they close at 11:00 an told me they're closed, while serving someone inside at the same time. There was 2 customers eating inside still and multiple pick up orders waiting to be claimed. It's really sad when locals are just trying to pick up some dinner in time and I was early before closing so to be turned away after this was unacceptable. I will be reaching out to corporate regarding this location specifically because this has happened multiple occasions. The food is usually sub par but like I said, it's the best I can do on my way home from work. Shame on you guys.

I live near here and wouldn't eat here if my life depended on it. It's very unsanitary and I see rats around their building daily. I think locals know not to eat there.

Negative 10 stars, my significant other goes here all the time. Today at around 1:15pm I walk in to pick up an online order and I'm assaulted while walking in the door on Hope. I was in complete shock as I was spat on by some transient I started thinking what disease did he just give me. I walk back out and yell at him after I realized he did it on purpose when I hear him saying bitch and something else to himself. I grab the order real quick & water. My first mistake I figured he hadn't got far when I saw courtesy patrol. I remembered what he looked like and knew he walked in that direction but couldn't describe what he was wearing. After searching for him on my own in the car I returned to Chipotle asking if they knew what he was wearing and was told no. Then given the excuse the people there weren't there one hour ago, except the person I asked I recognized from earlier. They have cameras but can't tell me what he was wearing for my report and I'm told even if the main manager was there they still wouldn't. Of course there's another transient walking around me multiple times while I'm trying to get this information. I'm now nervous and ask where is security and I'm told they don't come in until 3pm. I'm treated like it's a joke when who knows what kind of diseases this bastard was carrying. You would think the manager would offer to send the footage to courtesy patrol of the police, someone and make a report but no. I was basically shrugged off, not to mention I wasn't even able to speak to the manager because they were busy! I guess my issue wasn't serious or important enough. Never again! Not because some mentally unstable clown spat on me but because of their response to it. My s/o has spent so much money there as well. If you're going to have lawlessness in your establishment with no accountability to your patrons and their peace of mind you need to be out of business. You know exactly where you are located. I'm beyond pissed, this should not have happened but the response to what happened is what disgusts me almost as much as the incident. I'm up here wrecked with anxiety while the reaction is we don't care. Yeah, it happened here and you were blindsided but oh well. We aren't helping in any way. Hopefully corporate will be more helpful.

Updated review. They are always out of drinks, and sauces. But they have no problem selling you a drink then telling you 'ya we're out'. Like you should've known. There is no excuse for being out of Coke & Diet Coke at 12PM on a Wednesday.

Went today 06/13 around 1pm. I've been here plenty of times and have had good experiences. Today was not. I ordered a chicken burrito. Let me tell you the pan was super empty for the chicken you can hear the server scraping the bottom of the pan of how empty it was. Prior to him serving me the chicken the cook had yelled out that the new batch of chicken was ready twice. Next we moved to the salsa station and let me tell you that the station looked horrible. The mild salsa looked like it was drowning in pure liquid. The green salsa looked dry and chunky and it was low. The only thing that looked fresh was the guacamole. As I made my way in paying for my order I received no greeting from the cashier, the only greeting I received was my total. As I was paying I noticed the gentleman was struggling to roll up my burrito and noticed that the food was just being pushed out as he attempted to roll it. As soon as I saw that I just asked if they can put it in a bowl so it's easier for him. The person standing in the middle of the cashier and him handed him a bowl and he placed the burrito in the bowl and handed it to the middle person and she put the burrito in the bag and casually just threw the bag on the counter with not a single "thank you for coming " or "have a great day". She seemed bothered I asked for it to be placed in a bowl.

What happen? It's used to be dissent place, and now it's so gross inside. Employees are stressed and not enough people working. Really filthy place.

The meal was so bad it caused me to have tears why would you do this to somebody? After an 18 hour flight I ordered chipotle to be delivered. For a bottle water that's $1.00 I paid $2.50 got 2. Paid a tip to the driver. Paid 2 service fees Paid for the Bowl with rice, steak, and veggies. The bowl was 10% full if even that. At least fill it with rice. I paid $26.00 for a $3.00 meal, no napkins, packed horribly. I know it's Covid-19 what is wrong with humanity & people? Why would you do this to somebody? Would you want this to happen to you. I don't even know if it's even clean. I just threw it out. It made me tear to see how shitty this service is.

Stay Away!!!! This Chipotle on 7th and Grand is infested with Rats!! I witnessed 4 if them running around the entire location. Getting atop of the food counters, bins, kitchen area. I am disgusted with this location, and to think I've eaten here. I reached out to corporate and no call back or response. I called and notified the Los Angeles Health Department, opened up a investigation. This was at 3:20 am on 11/7/22. Who knows how long this has been going on. Never going here again.

Terrible portion size at a ridiculous cost. Do yourself a favor and purchase real authentic food from one of the many other options in the area.

Got double charged for my order and went to get a refund, but the cashier couldn't give me one because her manager was on a break. I wasn't offered any coupons or anything for my trouble.

Horrible online and customer phone service. Has to be 85 characters soo, horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible. I know it's like omg this person really has the time to rant about how horrible Chipotle is online. Welp, yeah lol, they suck that bad that I had to do it. But not because I'm a hater nut because I'm unsatisfied as a customer....

We got a to go order and the sauce spilled everywhere because the worker paid no attention to sealing the bowl correctly. Additionally, I nearly broke my tooth on a rock. I love this place but this time around the service was 0 stars

Worst Chipotle I've been to! While most staff are nice and professional, there are a few that are so rude, short and unprofessional, unfortunately they ruin the experience for everyone. And I'm afraid one of the worst calls herself a manager....

The service is good, but I live up the street so I go here cause it's convenient. But they always are out of either black beans , or sour cream , even steak and chicken twice! . So that needs to be fixed that right away . I shouldn't have to rearrange my expectation. You should never run out of main items! Now if it happens once fine. But I've been going here for 31 times since I moved into the city 7 months ago . And I know of 7 ! Yes 7 times they were out of items. UnAcceptable. You need to talk to the person who orders the ingredients.

They are not serving average food and when you are asking to give average they looks like kidding when i asked they added 3 pieces of small chicken peace in my bowl its awful. I am working near Chipotle and i used to take my lunch from here every day , but this accident is not first time , so i will never come back

Food decent but they're stingy as hell with the servings employees always have attitudes making the visit unpleasant only thing reasonable is the pricing. Ambiance is whatever you're in dtla expect anything

Terrible customer service. I asked for vinaigrette for my salad only to be given one sauce cup that wasn't even filled 1/4 of the way filled up so when I was checking out i asked the person charging me for one more vinaigrette & she replied, "I have to charge you for another one" Both of them combined don't even equate to a half full cup of vinaigrette. All to be charged an extra $1.55 & she was so rude. Then I leave to go grab napkins & utensils & they are out of both.

This Chipotle is always so dirty, nice associates mostly tho. I usually use the Chipotle app and order ahead, and I still end up having to wait, smdh.

The bar was decent and the server pleasant. The person at the register was hostile and seemed like she came out of an episode of Orange is the new Black for mean teenagers. The manager was unavailable and the restaurant was unkempt. Low self esteem and an inability to manage a period makes us all look bad. Guess she's special to the manger. The guacamole was the best I've had in a long time. The food was cold but good.

Decided on chipotle for convenience and regrettably so. The service (and I get it, it's chipotle) was horrible. I was being really friendly because I understand it must be crappy dealing with people all day, but c'mon not even a smile and the dude just looked annoyed and slopped everything on the plate. I said thank you and didn't even getting a "you're welcome," back. Oh and a dude behind the counter was rubbing sweat off his eyes...so gross. Finally take my food home and literally inedible...I'll post pictures for reference,but I stopped eating it because the meat and veggies were cold and THE FAT OMGGGG there was something in it I didn't even recognize. If you guys can figure it out let me know but never again and about to go get my refund.

I came to this spot on May 21 around 5pm Im usually always disappointed when ordering from Chipotle but this one was so much better than any other one I've been to. The employees were very nice and helpful and generous with the food. It tasted much better than any location I've been to.

The worse chipotle I've ever been to. All the food looked old. I had to request for food to be freshly made. There were no lids available for my bowl and the bowl was wrapped in foil. Employees had attitudes. Just So ghetto and unprofessional. Never again.

Mexican food purists will attire its not real Mexican, but the long lines they constant to have suggest it's Mexican enough for the masses! I always order ahead, either mobile or online, and never have to wait; the staff has always been proficient and professional. They even now have a rack where you can walk up, grab your grub and bounce on your way without having to speak to anyone. Today their fryer was out and as I arrived A spied a note on the door that read "no crispy tacos today", but that's what I'd ordered, so what fresh hell awaited me?! Hard Tacos are life; Soft tacos are unfolded burritos. Sadly, I had to settle for these lazy burrito substitutes and ate them with a tear streaming down my cheek. I was full, but not fulfilled

I love this chipotle i never had any bad experience here as i was reading the reviews I was pretty shocked because i never experienced anything bad here maybe slow service from time to time but it's dtla it will be busy during lunch hours . I will stand by my rating until proven other wise :) keep up the good work!

Went in to try the new Pollo Asado, not bad good taste not quite barbecue but good. Always willing to try something new, I'm glad there expanding the menu a bit. While the food is always good and staff is generally nice. I did think of something. Why is it that in any Chipotle I have been to there cheap with the Vinaigrette?? The container certainly big enough to hold more than tsp full.

Chipotle restaurant has bad service for its customers, they never complete a plate, they always don't have food available, something is always missing, they say we don't have it, if it's not rice, meat, beans, fajitas, etc., they fill the plate with lettuce, which is what they have available. They are stealing your money, you pay for something they don't have, it doesn't matter what time you arrive and I understand that it is a spoonful for each measure of food with fear they serve you this, the consumer department has to know. it's a theft

I seriously hate it when Chipotle locations are super stingy. On this visit, they were out of the veggies and we were told to wait a few minutes, which is completely fine. The crappy part is when they put too much of the veggies into your bowl and pick it back out with the tongs and leaving almost nothing in there. When you don't get any beans, cheese, sour cream, but they want to be cheap with some veggies. Probably one of the smallest serving portions I've ever received from a Chipotle. The scoop of guac was like a half scoop. I wonder if management train them this way? Anyway...they were also out of ice. There were plenty of staff, so I'm not sure what was going on here. Remember when their stock prices were MUCH higher?

Horrible service. Horrible staff. And HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT FROM CORPORATE! Not only did they get my order "stolen"... they took over 20 mins to get my order out. A simple salad!! They claim someone just walked up and took my online order. Who's is watching over online order? Where is the food safety/quality? Place is full of homeless , so literally ANYONE can just touch our food and NO ONE is monitoring?!!! placed it with more than enough time for it to be ready for my lunch time. And yet they still couldn't have it ready. Management did not even try to help. I reached out to corporate NO REPLY!!! I know y'all make wayyyyyyy too much money, not to invest in some food quality!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE. FOOD IS NOT SAFE. FOOD QUALITY HERE IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE! Literally anyone can just go and grab to go orders. No checking. No verification. Nada. One star only cuz I can't choose 0.

We ordered chipotle for dinner after a long day of traveling and it was all wrong. It was delivered late, which I would forgive but the rest was just so bad it put such a dent in our night. First, all meals were mislabeled even though I ordered directly in their app. No meat and wrong beans on one bowl, salad mix on 2 bowls instead of romaine, no salsa on both chip and salsa orders, both bags of chips were so low that combined they'd be a regular order, wrong drink for our kids meal and no napkins or utensils when it clearly said the Omni Hotel with the request to delivery at the front desk. It was a huge disappointment. We order Chipotle all the time when at home but this was so bad it makes me think twice about using the app for deliveries. Hoping it's just a reflection of this location. I'll never order from them again. True disappointment.

It's Chipotle. Nothing different here, but good lord I tend to avoid this place because they seem to all skimp on the meat. Why? Have you never been to other Chipotle's? Do you not know the portion size? Place is clean and quick otherwise, but some of the music they play is absolutely a big wtf? Definitely get your food to go.

I work in this mall and I understand when it gets busy things can be frustrating. But the girl who helped at the to go today was incredibly rude. Does not deserve to work in customer service. Asking a simple question and getting a smart a** response and talk beneath their breath is beyond me. Please be better.

Someone has to teach the kids who work here how to pack food properly. I had 3 soft tacos shoved together in the same foil, and when I opened up my lunch, the 3 tacos had melted into one disgusting mess (see photo). The workers here are too rushed and stressed out. SOME ADVICE: 1) Slow down just a bit and do things a little more carefully; and 2) In the future... since tacos are filled with a lot of stuff, wrap each one INDIVIDUALLY so no one will ever have to deal with the disaster I saw today. #TacoDisaster

I am reporting this business the hours that it shows on yell is not true. I guess the employees decided went to close early and went to keep it open until the right time.. poor service

I know there has been bad reviews for this location but I ordered online via the app and when i arrived a few minutes later it was ready.

Terrible customer service. Staff is always rude and everything seems like an inconvenience. Also, depending on the time you go, the food looks like it's been out for a while especially the wilted fajitas. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this location.

Ordered online for the first time. Offered me the earliest pickup time of 10:30am which I took. Got there at 10:30am. Doors are locked. Crew is working in the background but doesn't acknowledge me. Two other potential customers, expecting the store to be open on time, show up and a line forms outside. Dimwit unlocks the doors at 10:35am. Doesn't OPEN them, offer a quick apology, he just unlocks the doors and walks away. My food is not ready. 3 customers who walk in AFTER me get their food before I get my previously ordered and paid for food that had been promised at 10:30am. Food is finally given to me about 10:45am without a word of apology for my inconvenience. Burrito seemed good until I eat my way into a pocket of salt. I never ordered extra salt, or any salt, it's not an option. They just put way too much salt in to add ruined food to a terrible customer service experience. I'll stick to Zankou Chicken right next door.
