HORRIBLE. the workers are very rude and have a attitude. They are always running out of ingredients and don’t let people know beforehand. I chewed a piece of avocado skin in my bowl. On top of all that they bearly filled up my bowl and weren’t being reasonable with the servings. 0 stars.

EMELY gave like she wants to take some rice home, I just order a bowl to go and this bowl looks so sad. Cheap with rice is another level, won't come here again $16 bowl not worth it

The food was not appetizing. The barbacoa was salty and exceedingly dry along with the black beans. When I asked for the juice that each were cooked in, the staff told me it doesn't have juice. In EVERY other location I've experienced, the food is kept in its juices to maintain flavor and tenderness. NOT this location. Drrrryyyyy. Plus the food wasn't hot. I've had so much better at other locations in Harlem and the Bronx.

Went on a Saturday , Food Was Very Good (Compliments to the chef or whomever cooked it), the Smoked Brisket (Limited Time) is definitely something to try. Area is pretty cramped though the eating area was clean. My only issue was the preparers of the food. Don't know what was up with the attitudes so early in the morning. When trying to ask which spicy sauce was "Spicier", person rolled their eyes And defaulted to the seemingly only person that spoke fluent English (This is more of a knock towards the rolling of the eyes and attitude, not the the language barrier). When I was able to decide, barely a "String" of sauce was given. I Don't go to Chipotle much but the times in the past I have gone I remember service being more cordial and friendly (at other locations)...... I can recommend Chipotle food, unfortunately just not this location

Ordered a chicken bowl with white rice. The rice was minimal, dry, clumpy, and flavorless. For $16 for a bowl, you should get a full portion of the items you ask for. Especially the chicken.

The worst customer service of any chipotle I’ve ever been to. The staff is mostly incompetent or just straight up rude. Don’t come here expecting to be in and out within 15 minutes; they are SO slow. Honestly, they might as well hire a server and start doing table service with how long you’re going to be there. There’s another Chipotle about ten blocks up from here; go to that location instead. This is also the Chipotle location that had a huuuuge rat problem a few years ago, so you think they would have gotten their act together but alas. Save your money.

first off I placed my order to be picked up at around 4:30. The order is ready at five. They were crowding around not responding to when I would ask and say excuse me is my order ready then they completely messed up my bowl wrong I mean, they switched it with somebody else’s order so then when I said my bowl is missing this mess they only gave me a side of guac, which is nowhere near what I asked for the workers. Don’t listen to you do not treat you with kindness and their soda machine is broken which I don’t think is fair. I also noticed a large rat in the guacamole that they gave me on my side. Also, there’s a rusty pipe leaking into them into the chip bags. The lemonade was also a strange green sludge

I wish there was an option to give zero stars on Google. Genuinely. What an absolute waste of money. The rice to chicken ratio was astounding. Three scoops of rice, half a scoop of chicken, and an attitude when I asked the woman to give me just a little more chicken. The rice lacked flavor (no lime juice, salt, or cilantro), was overcooked, and clumpy. The black beans lacked flavor. The chicken was hard. They are constantly out of items on the main bar, leading to a wait. Will not be returning under any conditions. Please save yourself the headache.

The worst Chipotle I've ever stepped foot in. Absolutely filthy, employees disengaged and one with the very long eyelashes barely listened to me as she carried on another conversation. Left out part of my order, ran out of guacamole and lettuce at 8pm. The worst

Every time I order for pick up, i tell them my name they look at me, and proceed to have their personal conversation while my order sits behind the register. What makes it more frustrating it was not busy. The servers were just standing around. The last time I waited 10 minutes for my order while they ignored me. I got so frustrated I went behind the counter and took my order.

Got food poisoning from eating here yesterday (168th st & broadway location). I can be very confident Chipotle was the culprit, as it was the only thing I ate that day except for some cereal for breakfast, and symptoms started a few hours after eating here. Avoid, not worth it!!

I had the most interesting experience at this Chipotle location this afternoon. I went in to get burrito bowls, chips and guacamole for lunch. Everything seemed okay at first. The staff member that was helping me mentioned that they ran out of the bell pepper and onion mixture and that they were closing early today. While she was putting my order together, the music in the restaurant suddenly increased and I could barely hear her. She asked another staff member to decrease the volume but that member refused and they got into an argument. I don't understand why the music was turned on so high that you cannot hear your customers. Management needs to step up and train their employees better. I'm not sure what's going on at this location.

Told me the cash register was broken! Online order only? Unbelievable service, never come here!

I popped into this Chipotle after a long day at the hospital. It was close to closing time and they had a number of customers whom they were trying to take care of. Though it was close to closing they brought out additional ingredients to complete all the orders. The staff was friendly and customer focused throughout. They did a great job and provided great quality customer service.

I am a fan of chipotle, but let me tell you about this horrible location. The staff here needs to be replaced. The location was set to open at 10:45 I had been waiting outside the doors since 10:35am and made eye contact with both of the only employees working. at 1050am one of the two staffers working gave me the cut throat signal through the window, I guess indicating that they were closed. Eight minutes later, well after 12 customers including myself had attempted to open the locked door, the male worker came out and communicated that they were short staff and won't open the establishment until 12pm. He explained that there were only two of them working and they needed time to prep the food. Maybe because this is an underserved community and it's difficult getting workers to this area, that would cause such disfunction. Either way, it needs to be remedied. Offer higher pay, they may attract better dedicated employees. Needless to say I didn't have chipotle that day. Good thing there was an authentic Mexican food stand steps away who took all the customers chipotle lost that afternoon. I recommend a hard pass on this location!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!' I know places are short staff!!!! but!!!!!It doesn't hurt to greet your guests when they walk in .?this chipotle has a 31 sitting area that was nasty!!!!! Wait on line for about 8mins staff is just walking by looking at myself and other guest waiting to order ! One guy cooking rice just looking at us then there was the cashier who was working the line and ringing at the register,manager on her phone!! I know when I ran a business if I saw 3 people on line I'm coming out to help my staff and by all means GREET MY GUEST!!!!!! It's the point of sale a simple hello goes a long way!!!! why don't you guys give Presbyterian a discount just curious about that????

Hmmmm how should I start? Panhandling before and as I'm ordering food, loud horse play as I'm repeating my order, cashier telling me they don't make vegetable quesadillas, but will charge me for a burrito. So now I'm wondering where are the rest of the fixings since I'm charged for a burrito. Horrible and nasty response from worker and manager. It's really sad and always something with just this Chipotle. They say open at 11 and that's rare, it's always loud horse play from the workers. You leave your job and come here for lunch and changes your whole mood. I will no longer spend my hard earned money in that store!! A general manager should play a customer to see the people hired to work here!

we ordered a 37 person catering order and they just decided not to make it, nuff said.

Whomever just made our meals needs to be fired. It's not even close to what we ordered but it's not someone else's meal either. There were others walking up to the store with their meals with the same issue. It's over $40 and it's just slop. They won't answer their number either... went back to chipotle again because the kids just can't quit it and my daughter found three hairs in her bowl that were here's because of the hair color. The pre-millennial's they are hiring leave much to be desired.

Door dash Service aside, 2 Bowls with half the usual servings and half the toppings we ordered from each. Portions were already small now It's just pathetic for a chain. Zero Stars for the Chioptle next to the CUMC during these Covid Times...

The staff @ 260 east 161st was very disrespectful! I ordered a kid's meal and the girl at the register asked me if I wanted something else and I said no because my meal comes with a juice & chips. When I asked her for my cup and chips, she said I asked you if you wanted anything else! I didn't think I had to ask for what I paid for. She proceeded to be rude and disrespectful at this point I ask to speak to the manager, she continued to be rude and disrespectful, and the manager was NO help with the situation. I don't pay for disrespect because I cannot walk into a chipotle and ask for a free meal so with that being said I would like to be dealt with in the correct manner... The staff has no customer services skills whatsoever!!!!k

This establishment has roaches in the the food. I ordered my a build your own kids meal and as I was almost finished I found a a roach marinated in my corn. I threw up in my mouth then proceeded to gather all this crap take pictures n walk to the cashier as I'm totally disgusted and gagging. I told him wh I found he said oh wow got his manager to give me a refund and told me to throw it away. Didn't bother asking where it was specifically so they can throw away the contaminated product. Gross af pass on this one.

No wonder this place has THE worst reviews in WAHI... First of all - what happened to rest of my food? I received not even half of a bowl and I'm paying full price for it? Never again - stay away from this place or you will be robbed.

Avoid this place if you can. I ordered for delivery and they got my order COMPLETELY WRONG. THE FOOD WAS ALSO COLD!!! I didn't ask for sour cream and guacamole in my burrito bowl and they put so much of that in the bowl and very little chicken with rice! Never again. Hoping to get my refund because they dont deserve my money

I ordered two bowls, one with carnitas and barbacoa and one with carne asada and chicken. My Barbacoa and carnitas bowl DID NOT have barbacoa AT ALL. And I had taken like 6 bites and I finished all my carnitas! It was then that I realized there was no barbacoa. There was not enough meat at all, pork or beef. My boyfriend said his food tasted like SOAP! His carne asada was too salty and too spicy and guacamole was already browning too. I'm not ordering from here again. The only good thing was that my order came to my house quickly; most likely because they rushed through making it.

This review is for the store on 157/Broadway which doesn't appear in Yelp. We ordered online and my daughter picked them up. When we opened the burrito bowls they were half full and super wet and messy. Not at all like our past burrito bowls. They were gross and like half portions. So I brought them back and showed the staff who agreed they were sad excuses for Chipotle bowls and they remade them. But they were basically the same as the ones I returned. So either this store needs better training for their staff or the quality of Chipotle bowls has gone down. I give 2 stars because the food was still tasty and the staff was very nice and helpful. The food was fine but the service here was HORRIBLE. I stood there waiting to start my order for a good 5 minutes before anyone came to help me. Everyone was just talking amongst themselves and completely disregarded my presence. When the guy finally came, he gave me an attitude the entire time which made me not even want my food anymore.

I live this Chipotle. I've been coming here for years and the staff is always very kind. I've honestly never received a wrong order from them before. Throughout covid their smiling eyes were always a pleasure to see. Also, their queso is bomb

I probably should have checked the reviews before ordering. I placed an order and was given an estimate of 30 minutes, the estimate kept climbing because the food was never ready, over an hour later, I just canceled the entire order. This is what happens when you hire just anyone- they show up and don't work, just to collect a pay check.

It is no wonder this chipotle has such bad reviews. Well deserved. Been here twice, both times dissatisfied by the lack of professionalism. Second time was a mistake. That mistake happened today. This place is dirty, the employees are terrible, the quality of the food is questionable.... i could go on. Instead, I'll let the health department know the situation and see if they can make sense of the atrocity that is this Chipotle.

This is absolutely the worse possible place ever. They NEVER get the order right. The order is always either missing something or they forget to add what has been clearly requested in the order. I mean completely ridiculous. Not once have they actually got an order right.

One word for the food here. Salty. How can a chicken taco be salty?? Somehow they managed to do it. I decided against the guac and chips because I watched the girl make the chips and I swear there was a pound of salt on them. Upon further dissection, the salty topping was the corn and the rice. The staff was very friendly and efficient but they need to follow the Chipotle recipe, because I feel like a deer at a salt lick. I'll be very discerning on toppings, if I return to this location.

This Chipotle gets a lot of bad reviews from its deliveries, but honestly every time I've picked up myself it's been fire. And they gave me free chips tonight which was great cuz I'm a little high and really wanted chips. Overall just a great vibe with this place, everyone on the staff is friendly and they all seem to like each other. I like what's goin on here. 5/5

My co-workers and I have long joked about how this neighborhood needed a Chipotle, somewhat tongue in cheek in this predominantly Dominican section of Washington Heights. So were we surprised last December when a DNA Info article boasted the arrival of a Chipotle in the former Columbia Social location? A little bit! Granted, this Chipotle franchise is relatively smaller than others, and they are going to be dealing with a comparatively LARGE clientele from NewYork-Presbyterian and Columbia's medical schools. Upon checking it out with my NYP co-workers on Day #2, the line was out the door at 1 p.m., almost in front of Mike's Bagels. It took us 45 minutes to make it through the line! Is that to be expected? Yeah. Currently, I believe it's the novelty of this being in our neighborhood that's bringing out the crowds. Give it a few weeks. The lunch line will still be long, but it'll get shorter, and the service will get quicker. Given the influx, they did a damn good job today. I ordered three burrito bowls with different ingredients, and they got it down pat. One co-worker complained of the beef in her bowl being a bit too fatty, but we both agreed it was "first day jitters", so to speak. The gentrification of Washington Heights is at hand, and this is a big step towards it right here. I can see this as being good and bad. Let's face it: the gentrification WILL happen, and part of me fears people will go here for lunch over some other local restaurants. Still, is it convenient? Yeah...it is. There is no denying it. Welcome to WaHi, Chipotle. You'll definitely be inundated.

Ordered delivery from them the other night and have to say some of the best chipotle I have ever had. Rice wasn't sticky or clumpy. And the new Queso dip was amazing and not chalky. Everything tasted fresh. Very impressed

Your average Chipotle, fairly quick service and good option near the hospital for lunch. Not going to get into specifics, you know what u want when u go to chipotle. But in terms of venue, take out from this location is definitely preferable as space is limited. **One small thing, near the condiment station where you grab your chipotle sauce to go, every time I've gone they are always out of the little cups u can use to take away lemon wedges, sauces, etc. They'll replace them at the front immediately, but its just a little bit of inconvenience. just an FYI. OVERALL: not a bad place to grab lunch to go near the hospital.

Last week, there was chicken bone in my veggie burrito. As a vegan, that was very upsetting. I threw it out. This week? Big chunks of rock-hard avocado. What is going on at this location?!

I have gone to this chipotle many times. On my visit today I went to get a burrito salad. I received some old lettuce that was already browning. The attendant serving me barely put any ingredients into my bowl. I asked for chicken and she barely gave me a full spoonful, I asked for tomatoes and she did not drain them at all and put so much of the tomatoes and corn I asked for. When I asked if she could put sour cream she barely gave me any. When I asked if she could give me more sour cream she huffed and slabbed some on. I pay for my food and expect to get what I ask for.

Portions were terrible as usual. This is probably the last time I come here. 5 time I've gone and have had to ask for more rice, or is that the regular amount of_______. Staff here serves portions as if they are going to run out. If you want chipotle you're better off going to 125th where they give you more than enough portions.

Three stars just because it it Chipotles. The bowl was made just right, just as I asked no bells and whistles. This location is surrounded by a major job for docs and nurses from the areas surrounding hospitals and they frequent here very often,most days the line is spilling into the sidewalk with people in hospital scrubs. Today was no different, the line was ridiculous, like outside the door @1:00 pm in the afternoon, it took about 15 minutes for me to reach the counter, but I must admit the staff was friendly and moved at the speed of light. Seriously, I do not see how anyone could sit and eat in that location in comfort its just too congested to sit and enjoy your lunch.

I love chipotle. I ate there like 10x last month. Which is why it's such a bummer that the one near my apt is so bad. It's the worst chipotle I've been to. I just went there tonight & it was the third time in a row that they were out of steak. I asked how long until they had more, and the guy said they were closing soon so they wouldn't have steak or guacamole for the rest of the night. It was 9:15. They close at 10. And the place was packed. Sigh Update: Tonight they were out of cheese. How can you be out of cheese? It stays good in the fridge for weeks. And the other night they were out of steak, guacamole, corn, and lettuce all at the same time. With no more the rest of the night. Seriously folks. This has got to be the worst chipotle in New York.

Ordered online...food came an hour late. The entire order was made wrong, plus I was missing my drink as well. Paid $22 for a shitty, soggy, poorly and wrongly made burrito bowl. Never again.

So I find myself visiting my love at Columbia Presbyterian, in the hospital way longer than anticipated. Found out chipotle was here. I love chipotle. I don't think they skimp on ingredients. I gave eaten here four times in a week and it's fresh, fully prepared. This is a wee chipotle. Seating is across someone you don't know, no elbow room, no room at all. Lines easily form. It's very popular. At least there is a chipotle. Get it to go if you need to. The food at the hospital is extremely limited, the only thing good are the hale and hearty soups. They run out. This chipotle is fine. It's just small.

This location is amazing, Helen Was Great, The Location is clean and Spacious. We visited with our family and dined in. The team was extra courteous to adjust custom requests for kids.

They ran out of cheese at 1pm. That seems like a huge blemish on management and franchise owners.

I stopped by to pick up a special order. I needed the black beans mashed for a student of mine that was in the hospital unable to eat solids. Jennifer the store manager had an employee mash them into a bowl with a little cheese and sour cream. Chloe was pleased as she is the queen of Chipotle. Thank you so much Jennifer and staff!

The interesting thing about Chipotle, is that while it remains by far my favorite "Fast-Food Chain," each one will give you a different experience, some better than others. Since this location was extremely convenient for me, (Only a few feet away from the 1 Train on Broadway) I decided I'd give it a shot. The first thing you'll quickly realize is that it's much more tightly cramped than most Chipotles, and it was relatively crowded when I showed up, which is surprising because I came in at about 3. (Not exactly peak lunch or dinner time!) The tables are set up with no space in between them going longways in a straight line across the middle of the restaurant, and it was clear that people were eating across from and next to people they didn't know. When I got to the ordering station, I knew this wasn't going to be one of my most pleasant Chipotle experiences. FOUR buckets of key, commonly-ordered ingredients (Chicken, guacamole, pinto beans, and brown rice) were completely empty, and I had to wait a solid 10 minutes just for chicken. This was the only Chipotle I had ever been to where there was not constant cooking and refilling on ingredients going on in the kitchen behind the main counter. Eventually, my burrito bowl was put together to my liking, and the staff overall was friendly and welcoming. (But honestly seemed to move at a much slower pace than what I've witnessed at other locations) By some grace of God, I was able to find a seat decently spaced away from other customers, and what I got out of my meal was precisely what I expected...It tasted virtually the same as every other Chipotle burrito bowl I've ever had. (Not gonna lie, it didn't taste as freshly prepared as what I sometimes get, but I still enjoyed and finished it.) 3 stars! It would get 4 only if it was physically laid out a little more openly, and because during my experience, a homeless woman walked in and was asked to leave by 3 separate managers. A cheap, predictable-tasting bite to eat, this Chipotle is probably better if you're on the go and want to grab food to take home! Also, they serve alcohol at this location! So props to them for that!

I love Chipotle. Even after the ecoli scare, I am still a Chipotle fan. Particularly a fan of their bowls. Just so yummy.

All the negative reviews are correct. Keep it simple: don't go here. I LOVE chipotle, but I have to actively tell myself to avoid this location. All previous comments by others are accurate. Worst chipotle I have ever been to.

The girl that served me was very nice! Food was delicious too! Really clean spot and everything was stocked up!

What i liked about this restaurant was hwo fast the food was serve. Ofher than that i didnt like the taste of the food. Our server didnt even ask for water when we got sit on the table. They should do some type of management changes to make the customer service experience much better.
