Congrats Chipotle. Your lunch now costs more than a Prime Burger at Smith and Wollensky’s Steakhouse. Order the equivalent of a super sized meal is more than $26. Chip bags are 90% empty and only 20 unbroken chips in the bag. Order an extra portion of meat costs more than a kids meal at McDonald’s.

Google
I ordered a barbacoa bowl with chips and guac plus a drink. The food was very yummy and the price was alright but a bit on the higher side. this chipotle is a great location. Recommended for sure

Came in for a quick lunch today at around 12pm , and one of the cashiers were the rudest and disrespectful people I have ever encountered. I had paid cash, and showed no attitude , and when he had given me my change back he threw it on my hand and all the coins fell on the floor. I had asked for a large cup as well after that and same thing. He give me change and just threw it at me and on the counter where coins fell everywhere. No apology from him. And no apology from the lady worker next to him. Disgusting behaviour and he should immediately be fired.Next time I come and I see him working, this will go to corporate. I don't remember his name but he had glasses on. There was no line and everyone is moving way too fast for no reason . Besides that I let it go, since I don't want to fight anyone, but as I left both garages were full to the brim. Do better Chipotle and don't hire people who don't wanna do the job they get paid for. Leave the nasty attitude at home.

Google
You guys open at 10:45am and have everyone waiting outside at 11am while they on their lunch breaks to stand around and wait till the workers decide to open the doors. That’s ridiculous because if you say you OPEN at a specific time then why customers can’t even get in.

Google
All three of my friends got the kids meal, and every single one was ice cold and could turn me into a permafrost woolly mammoth. They gave us bags of chips with genuinely 7 of them, and the manager said that was standard, even when other restaurants gave double the amount. Everything is cold and stale, overall disgusting. They also skimped out a lot on the food as well, giving half of the box and leaving it like that. Floors are dirty, table is missing entirely, Some of the employees are rude, disrespectful, extremely aloof. Manager was of no help whatsoever. She told me "I don't know how to help you," she was clueless and should not be in such a position. Worst Chipotle I've had the displeasure of being a patron of.

Google
Don’t expect them to have everything ready. I understand it’s made here so an occasional outage is expected but I’m 0 for 10 on the having veggies. Some day I’ll remember this fact before I come and go somewhere else.

Google
Bad energy at this location. Employees are actively shutting the store down 30-40 minutes prior to the closing time listed on Google. I get it, I used to work in the service industry...we all want to go home. However, closing hours are listed for a reason. There's a lot of anger when it comes to serving. If you want to be angry at a customer, be angry at the ones ordering food while taking a phone call or a facetime — not those of us who are quick, efficient, and focused. Be better.

Google
I used to enjoy this spot for a late night burrito. I’m an avid cyclist and have a bike (non-electric) that I don’t leave outside in nyc because it’s too expensive. I entered the chipotle with my bike like I have done in other chipotles and placed it to the side so I can order but before I even put it aside I was greeted with “bike gotta go outside gang” from an employee across the restaurant. I asked “I can’t just get a burrito and go?” And the lady at the counter said “gotta go outside gang” although the restaurant is empty. Dissatisfied with the lack of respectful communication I definitely won’t be back at this location ever again. I understand a bike in a restaurant isn’t standard for some but it was only two customers dining and I would’ve left in less than 3 minutes. Please train your staff on how to communicate properly with individuals without using derogatory names before they decide to never come back again becuase of it.

Yelp
Chipotle is a good lunch spot with fresh produce. Comparatively inexpensive for the amount of food you get. For best value, get the bowl. Vegan friendly with lots of options. If addition to the bowl, you can also order a burrito or tacos with pinto or black beans and white or brown rice. You can choose sofritas (spiced tofu) and/or fajita veggies. For salsa, you can top with one or all options: fresh tomato, roasted chili-corn, tomatillo green-chili, or tomato red-chili. Extras like guac and chips are vegan. If getting the salad, avoid the dressing; it has honey. If it's your first time, it can be anxiety inducing to order from the busy counter. Tell them it's your first time; staff is generally friendly and will walk you through your options. Or avoid the lunch rush altogether and order online. They have a separate line for pickup. Lastly, don't forget to join their free rewards program to earn and redeem points for free food.

Yelp
The staff were nice but definitely rushed, which I generally understand but was a bit confused by in this situation as there wasn't a large line behind me. I got a steak burrito bowl with guacamole. There's a decent amount of seating at this location and it seemed clean. I know there have been some jokes around variance in Chipotle bowl sizes, and I personally got a large serving size without asking for it, but my friend did not, which I thought was funny. Friend also got a drink but many of their teas and drinks were almost empty, As for the burrito bowl, the rice in the bowl was way undercooked and still gritty which was unpleasant. Some pieces of lettuce looked a bit worse for wear. The steak and guacamole were good, though!

Yelp
Good place to come for fast, healthy and convenient food. This place is just like any other Chipotle! Tho parking might be quite hard to find around this place as it seems to be quite popular...

Granit S.

Yelp
I've been to many Chipotle locations, but this one was by far the worst experience I've had. The staff was extremely unprofessional--rude, disorganized, and clearly not interested in doing their jobs properly.
google avatar

Delize M.

Yelp
I love the food and prices which is why I usually love coming here but today they left something out my order & I live a little distance away so I had to go back and when I did they seemed to have an attitude because THEY messed up. Huge inconvenience! They rather have been there having fun like when I walked in but when I told them the issue their entire demeanors changed. They need to do better.
google avatar

Tatiana S.

Yelp
Came to eat here maybe twice for lunch while I was at work. That's how many times it took me to realize I didn't want to come back. The employees are very rude and rush you. Not only that but they give you very small portions. They also refuse to take any rewards that you have from the chipotle app. I was behind a woman when she got upset because of how rude they were being and how they were rushing her. It was very understandable.

Drayson S.

Yelp
Fantastic Chipotle location, better than any other location I have tried in NYC. The workers were wonderful, fast and effective service. And for a chipotle, it had pretty good ambiance. Overall would keep coming back to this Chipotle location.

Yelp
We came here after walking around City Point since it was right across the street. It was also around 11am so they had just opened on a Sat; not many people inside. The portions were actually decent but I think it is because we came here right when they opened. I can imagine it can get chaotic during busy lunch hours. I would recommend coming here during off time. Also ask for the salad dressing on the side - tastes great on the burrito bowl! There are a decent amount of seats (a row of high tops facing outside by the window, two rows of high top areas near the ordering area, and then two rows of regular seating spaces) but I can see it filling up quickly. Near the dekalb ave station (Q, B, R) or the Hoyt Station.

Yelp
Quick stop for a lunch pick up. Tried the sofritas bowl for the first time. It was ok. Service was decent. They ran out of the pepper and onion mix, which is a fave. It was around 3pm. Slightly busy, not a long wait. Staff was polite. I decided to try a different location today.

Yelp
I found a maggot in my pinto beans. Absolutely worst experience I have ever had for a restaurant. Devastating & disgusting experience.
google avatar

Molly C.

Yelp
This is quite possibly the worst Chipotle that exists. Not once have they ever gotten a Mobile order right. I have only seen them have fajita veggies once in the 3-4 years I've ordered from here. Today we were told that they made the rice yesterday morning for today. We had a group order for my office and we were also told they didn't have guac today- but two of our orders came with the guac and two did not. The staff is so rude and I get it- don't go back if it's so bad. Unfortunately my coworkers continue to order our group lunches from there, as it is only a few blocks from our office. 0/10.

Jacob M.

Yelp
This location is very stingy with absolutely everything. I ordered a "build your own plate" which comes with salsa and a drink and I received neither and when I asked they were trying to charge me for it. I then tried to get a water cup but they didn't have any water cups. I asked for a small cup just for water and they wanted to charge me for that even though I just wanted water and I specified that. This location is ran by unfriendly people. Don't go save your money. Review by: Jacob & Leah

Yelp
Whether you're a broke college student or an office worker, nothing beats the simplicity and price of a chipotle bowl. This particular location compared to others gets really busy during lunch time due to its proximity of colleges and corporate offices. Usually bowls are filled to the brim, however at this location it seems like they only give half of what's supposed to be there. Taste is still the same but given the hike in prices the food quantity should be reflective of what we pay for.
google avatar

Mei T.

Yelp
The hot thing here is the new plant based chorizo! It had a little kick to it but not noticeable. It tastes like other meats. After you add all your favorites on top you don't realize it's plant based. Worth a try!
google avatar

Junior S.

Yelp
Bizarre experience during my lunch today. After ordering food and asking for a free cup to get some water like I usually do every time I go to Chipotle. I was told, "Anything you have to pay for it." I told the worker/manager that I don't drink soda, and he insisted that I must pay for a cup to drink free tap water that comes from the machine.

Yelp
I have no issues w/ this franchise. Not my first choice but can really never go wrong w/ a chipotle here and there. This particular location however completely misses the mark and I'm writing this review as a reminder to myself to never go back. Off the bat, the quality of almost everything is worse than what you would expect from your average chipotle. The rice is clumpier, the chicken is dry, the fajitas is mushy and overcooked, beans are overly salty, basically everything that needs to be cooked is subpar. The cold stuff (salsa, lettuce, cheese, corn, etc) are completely fine though. Food still taste like chipotle and is definitely fresh so not tasting good is not a complete deal breaker. That said if the quality is going to be bad, I would at the very least expect my order be properly portioned. Give us a full scoop of chicken or whatever other add ons we desire. Nope, they would give a half hearted 3/4 scoop of proteins and add ons. The content of my bowl was completely contained in the paper container portion. I can easily eat two of these w/o being bloated. I have been consistently getting under portioned on my past 3 visits. In the past, the portioning was much better but I guess something changed. So there you have it, unless you want to pay top dollar for crappy quality and small portions, avoid this location at all cost!!

Alex L.

Yelp
Some of the employees were friendly, but my checkout guy was a huge jerk. Just stared at me. He was unfriendly, and didn't apologize for things that were missing.
google avatar

Chelsea R.

Yelp
This location needs a lot of work. If you don't order in person, 9/10 your order for delivery will be wrong. They don't follow instructions for your order and the portions are not worth the continuous increased prices.

Nat T.

Yelp
Every time I go I order the same thing and its a different price each time. Customer service is horrible. Avoid this chipotle at all cost. Staff is horrible. I work in the area and forced to walk to the further location on Fulton st.

E P.

Yelp
The employees here are on a mission to give you as little as possible in your burrito bowl & they get better at it every day
google avatar

Rex W.

Yelp
It is hard to argue that Chipotle for lunch is not a go-to; it is great! But, the reason I give this place a 2-star review is for two reasons: 1. Soggy burrito, they should make better effort to prevent the juices when scooping the black bean and pico de gallo into the burrito. It was super soggy! I really hate sogginess and went back in to ask if they could do something about it; I paid like $10 (that's a lot of money for one meal for me) and they said they couldn't do anything about it--impudent!

Xu X.

Yelp
The service & portion is very inconsistent at this location. During lunchtime when corporate workers, college kids & high school kids rush to this location for food, the quality of food and food portioning decreases. Sometimes the rice might be cold and fajitas overly burnt. I buy lunch here very frequently and most of the time the food portions are extraodinarily little. The workers would give you a super tiny scoop of protein in addition to skimping on other amenities. Often, I would receive a half full bowl. Nothing against the franchise itself, but this location is very inconsistent.

T R.

Yelp
They are stingy with the food. I always buy from chipotle and I usually get a burrito bowl which is very filling. They act as if they were scared to give me rice. 1 spoon of rice and a splash of everything else. I had to ask for extra pico de gallo. This is the first time I bought a bowl and still felt hungry. You would think since it is by so many schools they would be busy. That was the red flag when it was not crowed at all. Note to self don't go stingy chipotle. For $10.95 I expect the get the proper serving like all the other restaurants.

Thomas S.

Yelp
Skimpiest bowl I've ever got . This place is an absolute joke I don't ever leave reviews but I had to

Elijah D.

Yelp
gave me one scoop of whatever barbacoa scraps were left then wanted to charge me double for asking for more meat, also the guy at the register always has an attitude

Tashari B.

Yelp
This location is dirty. They are very stingy when it comes to portions. And I found hair in my food.
google avatar

Yelp
I wouldn't normally rate a Chipotle because part of the point of the big chains is that they're all the same, but this one has unusually bad service. We've tried ordering from this place maybe five times since it's nearby, so it should be easy to place a bulk order and pick up from here when we're hosting a game night. Whenever we order online, the time estimate says that the order will be ready in 5m to 10m, but it's taken as long as an hour for the order to actually be ready. No matter how large the order is or how long we wait, they don't actually start making the order until we show up to pick up the order, which defeats the purpose of ordering online. Also, the order is often wrong, and we don't really want to dig through everyone's food and open up each item to make sure they got the wrong thing. And even when someone's order is technically correct, there's often something wrong with it. One time, half the burritos we got were half sized, so they looked like round balls instead of burritos. Did they run out of stuff and not want to make more or something? I don't particularly like Chipotle, but it's usually fine when you just want something quick and easy, unless you're ordering from this Chipotle.

PawPrints B.

Yelp
I've always loved chipotle. But this one, not so much. The service was MEH, the chips were ridiculously salty, and you can no longer request a cup for plain water. Its not like we came off the street and just asked for water, a meal for 2 was nearly $40. So disappointed in this place, I hope this is not a sign that the chain is degrading.

Enzo M.

Yelp
They had no water cups, took way too long to deliver the food, they had no forks either,
google avatar

Heather R.

Yelp
Chipotle Mexican Grill ok not feeling this place. I feel like ending my review here however I need to justify my statement. Ok I ordered the salad bowl. Fine not a big deal you think. I do not eat meat so I figure the salad would be perfect. No. It had a crappy lettuce with choices of so call Mexican items. The Guacamole and black beans were ok however the salsa sucked along with the lime vinegar dressing. Thank G-Dness I had a cold water to wash down this meal yuk. The price is off too $12 for salad and water what the heck. This place is a tru disappointment.
google avatar

Yajaida M.

Yelp
I can eat everyday. My favorite is the pork bowl. So how about you get the bowl n realize this is 2-3 meals so they toss in free taco shells. Yes u heard me free taco shells. Also gave me my salsa I so love this place. I had stopped only because of the scare of contaminated meat but u guessed it I'm back and will be back again.

Adjovi C.

Yelp
A bunch of 16 year olds .. more like 15 crew members after 2:30 on the make line standing around while the entire make line isn't fully replenished.. so ordering your food doesn't look to exciting because everything is damn near empty . Before you make your choice between bowl or burrito they begin to shout what they don't have .. maybe if the manager can order food properly this chipotle can successfully win in sales instead of the manager being a robo cop at the fountain machine .

Joe A.

Yelp
This was the worst food I've ever had in my life, I threw it away after a few bites. The steak was ice cold and also raw. I would complain about the portion sizes being by far the smallest I've ever seen at any Chipotle, but that's irrelevant since it all went in the trash anyway. I would give Zero stars if I could.
google avatar

Ricky Xiao Y.

Yelp
I go to school right on metrotech, so this Chipotle is super convenient! This is one of the locations that doesn't skimp on portions. I'm always extremely full after a burrito bowl. Plus, they had a student offer for a free large drink. The line is long during hot hours but the line moves really quickly. I always get a burrito bowl: white rice, black beans, steak, medium, corn, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. I am not a fan of tomatoes... The trick for me is to get a tortilla, and wrap mini burritos. I love this location and will be back... probably in a few days.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
I typically don't go to to chipotle that often, but decided to come here for some lunch with a friend. During the weekday peak hours, the line is super long (it goes all the way to the bathroom almost). The food is not amazing, but definitely good for a quick meal when needed. However, the portions were super small for what I pay. When I first came, portions were pretty good even though it was busy, but now it is little which made me kind of disappointed. Even my friend agreed that the portions weren't the usual. Also, a lot of sauce/sour cream is put in, but very little rice, meat, and other veggies are put in. Wouldn't come here again unless there was no other choice.

Hunter C.

Yelp
I wish there was an option to put zero stars. this chipotle is absolutely the worst i've ever been to. (i eat chipotle a lot) They give you a quarter of a bowl worth of food. The lady literally argued with me when i asked for more than a half a scoop of rice. the workers are SO rude it's unbelievable. Normally i think i'm dramatic when complaining about things but read literally every review for this location and they are all the same. Corporate should close this location immediately because it is a stain on the brand.

Jul U.

Yelp
Delicious affordable food with healthy options. Efficient and helpful staff, very accommodating--changed gloves as soon as requested because of food allergies.
google avatar

Jacky C.

Yelp
Got a burrito where they gave me the smallest $9 burrito I've ever got from a Chipotle chain. Simply got ripped off. I already knew it was going to be small when they took one scoop of rice and beans, not even full scoops either. The rest was downhill from there. They said they would have charged more if I wanted more. You can tell they could have added more stuff in it because I ended up throwing out some of the tortilla wrap because that was simply what I was taking bites of, just tortilla wrap. If I were you, go to Dos Toros, totally better place in every category: price, quality and QUANTITY, and the service.
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Service at this location is horrible. Long line, which I expected. But the service is really slow, employee are taking their sweet time. I ordered a Carnitas rice bowl. Oh my god, you charge me almost $11 for the rice bowl and you only give me a tiny bit of pork, with everything added the bowl is not even full. Overall the food have no taste.
google avatar

Amy G.

Yelp
The food is decent and pretty fresh. The steak was a bit too spicy. Servings are large. Service is just so so.

Bernard R.

Yelp
Rude staff, over cooked food and long lines. One of the worst Chipotle's in NYC. Not recommended.
google avatar

Gene N.

Yelp
Haven't been to Chipotle in over two years after some stomach issues. But had a craving for Mexican and it was the closest one to us. It was a Sunday at 8:30. They had only one salsa, no corn, no onions, no peppers. They gave me about a tablespoon of beef and the bowl was only half way filled. It was so salty and overly seasoned with msg couldn't finish it. We vowed never to eat at Chipotle again.
google avatar

Andrew C.

Yelp
Note my review is based on visits only on weekends and other off peak times. Experience is pleasant with food being consistent, staff being friendly and dining area being clean. I like the chipotle on montague st better but the metrotech location is much better than court st.
google avatar

Yannie E.

Yelp
Considering the location, the limited staff does their best to keep those long lines moving. With that said, these guys here are pretty stingy with their portions, can I blame them? Not really. Have I been to busier Chipotle? Yes, and trust me when I say that THIS CHIPOTLE is stingy. Try asking for extras, I guess that depends on who ends up serving you. 4 stars service, the staff do get overwhelmed and sporadic attitudes from time to time. 1 star for outdoor seatings. Please avoid at all cost, unless you enjoy having random folks popping their head over you as they walk by to steal a glance at your burrito bowl. The Tobasco bottles at this location always goes missing. Never any spoons here. Despite the long lines I do believe that this Chipotle has the potential to do better. I can see this place getting higher volume of business when they are appropriately staffed

Bolu O.

Yelp
This chipotle is terrible. First of all they move very slow. Not because they're busy, but because they keep making a mistake or are being petty among themselves. I went earlier this evening and once I got to the register the girl at the front rang up my order with an attitude and basically tossed me my food. Additionally one of the other employees (the guy who assembled my bowl) threw a side of guacamole (that I didn't order) at the girl at the front!??? I usually love chipotle but they really ruined my experience this time. They need to hire better employees. We get it, working at chipotle might not be the most fun or whatever tf, but keep it professional.
google avatar

Stuart B.

Yelp
This was my second visit to a Chipotle. I still don't get it. A line out the door for what? A plain tasting burrito. If I were living in the middle of nowhere I would think this is interesting, but living in NYC and having lived in San Diego, I just can't figure out why people would line up for this. On to the specifics...the line did go out the door and it took me about 15 minutes to get my lunch to go. I found the portion way too big (probably why it's popular)
google avatar

Charleen L.

Yelp
This Chipotle is located in a pretty nice area, only downside about this location is the rude staff and The food taste alright. I was pretty upset because I was buying 2 bowls for my friend and her child and asked for a cup becuase the child was thisty. The staff said the soda machine was broken so I didn't get a cup for the drink, BUT I see the girls at the front completing the purchase for other male customers and giving flirtatious looks to them. I had to get the sauce cups that typically holds limes/lemon to get some soda for the child to drink. Idk if I'm more upset at them lying to me about the soda machine being "broken" or them flirting with customers
google avatar

Quincy T.

Yelp
So far, oh so good. This place just opened and already I'm addicted. It's in Metrotech which mans it'll be forever crowded (like it was today), but luckily for me I knew a trick for bypassing the line. #onlineordering Place is kinda small for the volume of clientele but that has nothing to do with how fresh and delicious the food is. My friend and I were in and out in 7mins..... all the while the line got even longer. Cash and credit accepted here.
google avatar

Jeeper K.

Yelp
If you're looking to eat a sizeable lunch for yourself, this place should do. Just order a bowl and make sure you double everything in it and ask for some shells lest you leave this place hungrier then you came in. Also recommend the secret boogaloo soda is the same thing as water trick.
