Hygiene standards are questionable, I had ordered a sofritas bowl the server was rushing and was not listening to what i was saying, when I asked to add a little bit more of the tofu they told me that they would charge extra money for that, which made no sense. It is located at a good location that is all they have going for them. Go here only if you absolutely have no other option.

This Chipotle is consistent with other Chipotles across the country and has good food with a friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and in a great location. If you are looking for a good and familiar place to eat, try this Chipotle.

Fisherman here for the crab season. Eat here occasionally after a trip when I've had more than enough crab and fish. Food is good, but it's a franchise and should be. Service is below "welcoming" employees seem completely lost sometimes or hiding in the back while one person prepares and checks out the customers. They pack the burritos super full, which isn't a complaint in my book, if they could fold the burritos properly. Prepare yourself with lots of napkins and ask for extra foil, or you'll be wearing most of your food. Whoever is managing this location definitely needs to be better about training, scheduling and improving customer service. No different than going to a drive through, while the person is having a bad day and shows it. Side note; if you're huge on cleanliness, and proper food preparation protocol, sorry to say but you'll want to eat somewhere else. Employees do not change gloves between serving, checking out and cleaning. They wipe down all the tables with a damp rag and no soap. Emphasis on wipe, not scrub, not clean just a quick knock all the left over food onto the floor. Queso is made with 90% salt.

Enjoyed the food and service from this location twice during the week. By far on of the best locations I have ever visited. An error was made on a transaction, however, their staff were quick to find a solution. They recognize the importance of fast and friendly service. they demonstrate a customer centric culture which is rare in the fast food industry. Ellis is a asset to the company and organization! I would strongly recommend this location to all who visit San Francisco!

worst customer service experience i have ever had. i had never been to chipotle and was a very excited australian tourist to see they had one down the road from the hotel. when i walked in there, everything was dirty from the dining tables to the food prep bench and the staff were all incredibly rude. when i was ordering, i was unfamiliar with some of the ingredients so asked what they were and was laughed at by the staff. it looked like all the ingredients had been sitting there for multiple hours and they were all dry and crusty. then when i was paying, the lady with the very long fake eyelashes and nails was incredibly rude to my mum and i. we both saw the same treatment given to other customers who were obviously not happy either. would not recommend :(

Just ordered from here. Had a bit of a special order (needed them to change their gloves before making it), and the manager Felicia was extremely nice and made me feel like everything would be taken care of correctly. Great experience! Hope she reads this and knows she's appreciated :)

It was our first visit to a Chipotle Mexican and it was........ superb ! We ordered a couple of Tacos and a Burrito to share , you actually select your fillings which is great so you don't have anything you don't want. It was super busy but we managed to get a table. Staff work hard to keep up with demand but I feel they need a permanent cleaner as there was food on the floor and on our seats ....

I love Chipotle, but this location really needs to get it together. The quality of the food that they put out is definitely not up to par and the service is almost comically slow. This is one of the newer locations in SF so hopefully it will improve over time, but when I visited we waited like 30 minutes in a normal-sized line, with our orders mixed out about 3 or 4 times before we finally got it sorted out. I still have faith it will get better!
