Restaurante Chirón

Wow! What a worthwhile trip from Madrid (we took the bus). Incredible value for money, the food and wine was exceptional.

We visited with friends for lunch, it was very very good. I really enjoyed typical local cuisine, this concept is perfect. There are few things that need to be improved and perfected, as a chef who worked in Michelin star restaurant I do have couple points for cuisine and for service, but will send this privately via email. As those minor things can be easily corrected, I believe with next visit I will correct my review to 5*. Looking forward to next visit. Definitely can recommend eating here.

Classic restaurant, friendly service. Foods are dedicated. Stuffing olive, deep fried creamy potato & jalapeño for appetizer. Second dish is potato paste & sausage paste. Poached egg with breadcrumbs, red grapes & house sauce.Under 80% degrees water to make the cod fish to be just well done, with cauliflower sauce & red pepper sauce, fish was melted in the mouth 👍👍👍main dish is pork cheek which slow cooked for 48hours, all melted in the mouth. Desert bread pudding. Cute bread pudding, mash mellow shape,& raspberries soft candy .Very delicious.highly recommended

Wow, what a treat it was to experience a Michelin-starred restaurant at very reasonable prices. The food and service were excellent and the pacing of the courses was just right. Well worth a trip out of the city centre to get to.

The food is inventive, flavourful and very enjoyable. The wine list is huge but they'll help you choose a good one if you ask and describe what you like. Staff were welcoming and engaging at the start but quickly missed quite a few details. Small ones at first, such as not removing crumbs after the bread course, unforgivable later: they moved on to using a household iron to press tablecloths and turn the place into some kind of workshop as we were trying to enjoy our savoury courses. This place is supposed to have a Michelin star, and they charge a price to match. Very disappointed.

Amazing Menu Degustacion Tajo, which focuses on Madrid dishes. It was such a good deal. Service was great and English was well spoken. Loved all the plates too. Wish they had a parking lot though but we didn’t have an issue looking for a parking spot in town.

Correct but not amazed. Big plus not to overexaggerating the dishes and leaving a decent amount of food as a whole dinner menu. Many quality ideas and mixes of flavors.

Chic restaurant. Attentive service, some "unusual" offerings. Having a menu in hand during service would be nice to refer to while dining.
