What you notice first are the smiles. Everyone - the staff, the customers, their kids and even the pets - is relaxed and friendly. There is always a wait list, but it moves fast. The food... oh boy, it's good. I had a custom-made scramble with avocado and sausage with fruit...so perfectly balanced. My friend raved about her oatmeal pancakes with cinnamon butter. Overall, brunch at Chloe's is a wonderful experience.

Food portions are huge, well prepared and great tasting, I needed a Togo box for my leftover. Inside is tiny so most likely you will sit outside. They also have a takeout walk-up area on the sidewalk of you want to take it to go.

Tiny café on the corner of the street. Menu is small but fair, serves basic American fare with a burrito here or there. Does scrambled eggs, pancakes, so on. I had the basic two stack of pancakes and honestly they were far better than expected. Just the right amount of fluffiness and sweetness. With the added maple syrup they were perfect. Also ordered some sides but they were standard and nothing to write home about. Prices weren't bad and service was kind and quick, inside seating is very sparse but they have plenty of outside tables. I'd definitely come back if I need a quick bite in the area!

Updated June 2024 : Haven’t been here for brunch for 3 years. Didn’t know most of the things are changed. Foods are good but very slow, waited at least 20mins. Not really friendly service like before. The severs looked distant. Indoor has only 3 tables because they have a new coffee bar, looks commercial, no more mom and pop atmosphere. A bit disappointed to be honest. (Only 1st photo was before pandemic, others were in 2024) Before Covid : Despite a long wait, overall was good. Good foods, friendly staffs.

Small restaurant located in the Noe Valley District in San Francisco. The portions are hearty and the ambient and staff is friendly. Great way to srar the day!

Omg seriously gotta be one of the bear breakfasts in SF. So much food, and always delicious. I think next time we visit, we are just gonna eat here everyday for breakfast/brunch 😆

Visiting the area, this was around the corner, what could be more convenient? We found that not only was it proximate, it was excellent. . The sign said to put our name on the list to be seated, but there were several tables available. We had coffee in front of us in no time at an awkward table that faced outside. . We were hungry, which was a good thing because the servings were unexpectedly large. I had the burrito. I'm from Houston, so I've had my fair share of burritos; this was a good one. The side potatoes were beautiful, really, and quite tasty with a little salt. . My wife had the salmon scramble. It was plentiful, with lots of salmon. She thought the capers added too much salt. I think she might be wrong, because it tasted great to me; I'm partial to briney capers. . The service was great and the coffee was good. We'll be back.

The salsa on my breakfast burrito was extreeeemely flavorful, not spicy and reminded me of the roasted molcajete salsas my grandma would make. Soooo flavorful. This is a pretty busy place so I recommend making sure you get there in time to stand around in line. It's a cute cozy spot with some outdoor seating and a little parklet. Lots to do nearby so it was a great stop for our family brunch before hitting the shops in Noe. I'd do it again.

Was overall happy with Chloe's Cafe! I came by with a couple friends at the recommendation of another friend who lives in the area. It was a Sunday morning and despite looking very busy, we only waited about 15 minutes for a table. It's a quaint diner with simple, diner-style food. A bit pricey but the portion sizes make up for it. I'm a tough critic of breakfast potatoes but these ones were delicious. Breakfast burrito was also tasty. My friends ordered an omelette and pancakes and they were happy with those as well. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area but wouldn't go too far out of your way for it.

Me and my old high school friend had a great lunch at Chloe's. My friend recommended it and I was happy with it. It is a cute little place with yummy food. I had the croissant French toast topped with powdered sugar and fresh ripe strawberries and real maple syrup. It was delicious and surprisingly light. I also had the iced coffee, which was refreshing because we sat outside under umbrellas on a very hot day. The service was prompt, but the vibes were not as warm as the day. Would go back!

I rarely ever venture into the city, but this was a recommendation from one of my friends who does. We came around 11am or so on a Sunday, and although it looked like there was a wait, a walk around the block was all it took before a table outside opened up for us. My friend ordered an iced coffee while I ordered a matcha. There was a bit of a backup at the cafe counter so my drink arrived well after hers. As for food, my friend ordered the BLAT sandwich while I ordered the Florentine Scramble and added chicken apple sausage to it (an extra $3). Food came fairly quickly and the portions were huge, which was a pleasant surprise! IMO, it sort of offset the sticker shock of a $20 scramble since I was able to eat half my plate at brunch and bring the leftovers home for later. Also the servers were super nice, but after we got our food no one really checked on us - not even to offer filling our waters. Overall, I would rate this place a 3.5/5 and round it up to 4. Atmosphere was cute and cozy, service was meh, and food was good but it didn't blow me away to the point where I feel like I would need to make the drive up to the city for it. If you live in the area or happen to be in the area, it's for sure a cute spot to try out!

A classic brunch spot with relaxed, casual vibes. The menu is extensive but well-organized, making it easy to navigate. I tried a sandwich that was generously sized but awkward to eat as served. Unfortunately, the flavors didn't quite live up to expectations. I was also disappointed to find that the 'home fries' weren't actually fries.

Chloe's is a bright brunch spot in sunny Noe Valley. My partner and I enjoyed our scrambles that came with thoughtful fixings such as the rosemary bread toast, fruit jams that seemed housemade, and the very best breakfast potatoes!! I loved how LARGE these breakfast potatoes were and they were all soft inside, with crispy edges, and very generously spiced. The scramble was nothing special, but no complaints. Expect a long wait on weekend mornings/lunch!

Noe Valley staple, small small inside but they have tables with more space outside. I am not a huge breakfast person but I LOVE their's! They are known for their croissant french toast with is crispy but fluffy and oh so buttery but yummy! They always have different specials and this week it was the pesto scramble which was the perfect blend of basil pesto sauce, veggies and eggs- not to mention their home fries are perfection with paprika , onions and garlic !

A very dear friend introduced me to Chloe's and it was life changing. The salsa with the burrito is fantastic and it has cured my hangovers every time. Wait isn't too bad, just depends on how big your party is. Super cute and a must try!

I love this place! The special with the pesto is amazing when you make it! I will say last time I waited 45 minutes for a pancake only to find they never even put my order in which made me very sad.

Such a cute breakfast spot - a must need to visit when in Noe Valley! We were lucky and there were no lines, so we were seated immediately. Our server was incredibly sweet and patient with us as we were trying to decide on what to order. Food was delicious and we managed to take home leftovers. Definitely recommend Chloe's cafe if you're looking for a cute coffee and breakfast place!

One of my favorite brunch spots in Noe -- if you want the classic breakfast dishes, I think Chloe's is the best in Noe. Usually the line is fairly manageable (although on a busy weekend it might deter you), and helped by the option to order a coffee while waiting. My go to is the custom scramble with the rosemary potato toast, but this is our usual breakfast spot for when we're hosting as well, and everyone enjoys the food!

Best pancakes in SF hands down! They were so accommodating despite the fact that my boyfriend and I arrived literally minutes before closing. Very hospitable, very warm, very courteous.

The perfect size dinner for me tonight. Chloe's is not on the busiest merchant block which makes parking a little easier which was a welcome thing after a long day. As for Chloe's they have window service which is a nice option if you are in need of a beverage fix, but for myself the wish was for a lite dinner of Veg & Meat and that was happily achieved tonight. I found the staff pleasant, and order pickup painless, and when I returned home after a slight detour to grab a $MCD Iced Coffee the container of Meat & Veg was a welcome sight. The various elements were well seasoned, and the peppers a savory component of the main that came without the distraction of heat. As for the pickled veg, I was full after the main dish and Blueberry Muffin but they smelled and looked enticing so I'll have them at some point this weekend Overall a very good experience.

Reliable brunch places! Great people, good food and good atmosphere. The pancakes are so good there too!

We had a delightful brunch at Chloe's during Thanksgiving weekend in San Francisco. It was not too crowded and we were able to secure a table for 4 on the patio. We ordered, juice, coffee, omelettes, pancakes and breakfast burritos. Highly recommend everything, including the service. Our table even included a small vase, which was a very nice touch!

We enjoyed having a late brunch on September 10, 2021. My wife and I love this place but it always seems to have a long line when we drive by it. We were in Noe Valley and drove by Chole's to see if we could grab a bite. Fortunately, my wife got us a table while I found street parking across the street. She ordered a tuna fish salad and I ordered the smoked trout sandwich my favorite for 20 years. The staff were very friendly, prompt and very helpful on menuI recommendations. If you are in Noe Valley make sure to drop by for great food, excellent service and comfortable setting.

My husband and I had brunch at Chloe's with one our friend. He signed for the waiting list at 12:35pm and we seated around 1:15pm. The place is very small, they have some table outside and inside but the space is very small. We ordered coffe for sure, the florentine scramble for me with home fries and walnut bread as a side; my friend ordered also my same plate but with home fries and fruits; my husband created his plate (scramble eggs with avocado and bacon) with bagel and salad. Everything was pretty good and the portion are very big. We didn't enough space to split the pancakes, but we'll come back to try also them because they look good.

Some solid hits and some solid misses at Chloe's. We arrive on a weekend for brunch so it was expectedly crowded. The list went by quickly though so we were seated in maybe 15-20 minutes. Hits: breakfast burrito with potato's, eggs Florentine Misses: the iced coffee, the Brazilian cheese bread, the lemon loaf Overall, entrees were good but everything else was a bit of a miss.

Chloe's is one of my favorite brunch spots in the city. No reservation required, just walk up and write your name down on the list. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available, and the food portions are very generous. I'm a huge fan of their scrambles, but during this visit I ordered the "Chloe's French Toast" and it was very tasty!

We arrived ~11AM and waited 15 minutes before being seated. The place was cute and located in a nice neighborhood to sit outside. After our order was taken though, we had to wait an hour for our food. Supposedly the food was backed up, but our waiter did not inform us. It was only after we asked 45 minutes into waiting that she told us this and said our food would be out in 15-20 minutes. The food was not worth the wait. Nothing was really seasoned. I ordered the southwest scramble and only with ketchup it tasted fine. I will not be back

This place is amazing to have lunch/brunch if you're if Noe Valley area of SF! I have been coming tho this restaurant since I can remember living in SF! I always brought friends to Chloe's to experience the amazing food! This place is small and often has long wait to be seated on weekends (especially if nice weather inSF)! I try to go during weekdays and after lunch/brunch rush. I ordered the Egg scramble with Jarlsberg cheese and spinach, adding fresh avocado and bacon. Since my friend and I were going to split the French toast, I opted for the fresh fruit cup and house potatoes. My friend ordered the trout sandwich. Our food was amazing! Plenty of food and you'll leave with a full belly and wanting to come back. The French toast was Devine! They make it with croissants and it's both crispy and just yummy! I definitely recommend getting individual plates and plates to share so you can experience all the yummy food. This place has great ambiance, limited indoor seating as this place is tiny and outdoor seating. The vibe is old school mom n pop restaurant. Staff has been super friendly every time I've gone , year in , year out. Very neighbourhood feel where it's like going to a family meal! Street parking is available and J-church Muni metro stops nearby. Price is very reasonable and I highly recommend everyone go!

The best little find in SF. Looking for a brunch spot away from the busy parts of the city and we couldn't have been more pleased. Exceptional food, great service and seating on a lovely street corner in a neighborhood. Enjoying wonderful outdoor dining on a crisp, yet perfect day called for a warm drink which also exceeded expectations. Icing on the cake was finding parking less than a block away. What we ordered and i'd highly recommend: Salmon scramble (slightly salty from capers but flavorful) Create Your Own Scramble Chai Latte Croissant French toast with fresh strawberries

Get the French toast! My goodness. I swear there was a whole carton of fresh strawberries cut up on top of it. What a treat! The staff are also so so kind and the outdoor seating is really nice if you have a stroller or dog.

My FAVORITE brunch place in Noe Valley! If you're craving simple, classic brunch dishes without feeling bloated, this place is for you! Quality - everything tasted so homemade and fresh! Typical diner food leaves you uncomfortable full from all the sodium and butter, but the food here is exceptionally flavorful yet light. Big portions too! French toast (5/5): A lot of fresh strawberries, amazing egg to bread ratio with a vanilla taste. Not heavy at all! Breakfast burrito (5/5): This is the only burrito I've ever had that didn't make me feel so bloated afterwards! The green sauce inside the burrito is SO GOOD and nicely balances the cheese and bacon. The potatoes are also amazing! It had perfectly crispy edges with light seasoning on top. Service & ambiance: Amazing all around. Cute cafe vibes. It's small so I suggest going before peak hours!

I was staying in Noe Valley and wanted to stop by a quick place for brunch. Luckily, I found Chloe Cafe down the street with a long line out the door. There was a sign in sheet outside where people could write their names down and be called one by one. Luckily, I was alone so I managed to get an empty seat by the counter. I ordered the BEC Bagel Sandwich which came with bacon, scrambled egg, and Jarlsberg cheese on a sesame bagel. I picked a side of home fries and an iced coffee to drink. The portions were huge. I barely was able to finish it all. I was able to see the cooks in front of the counter cooking all the food and preparing the fruits and vegetables. I was amazed at the quickness and efficiency of preparing all the meals and going through the dishes during a hectic brunch rush hour. Needless to say, I was impressed. The second time I came here I decided to order the Salmon Scramble which came with smoked salmon, dill, and caper scrambled eggs. It came with two sides so I chose the fruit and salad. The fruit and salad sides were large as well. You don't usually see large bowls of fruit or salads when you come for a meal. I enjoyed having a healthy balance in my breakfast. The salmon scramble was excellent and gave good portions of salmon. I was not disappointed both times I was here and will come again next time I am in Noe Valley.

Great breakfast spot. Came about 9:15 on a Saturday, they open at 9 and there was already a waitlist. Plenty of shaded seating while you wait. We actually didn't have to wait too long since it was a party of 2 and a pup. We shared the bagel sandwich and the banana walnut pancakes. Both delicious. Service was casual and super pleasant. Loved that even as busy as they were someone was always coming around with coffee refills.

The other day I ordered a breakfast burrito with impossible sausage. I was in the mood for something a little more up-scale in the burrito department. Fancy. Refined. With a big portion size. This burrito was all of those things. But boy, oh boy, was it ever spicy. And it had strange proportions. Lots of home fries in the burrito. Lots of eggs. Lots and lots of a dark spicy sauce with pepper seeds in it. But only a little bit of sausage. And a thin layer of cheese around the outside. And it was served with a side of more of the dark spicy sauce. How could I possibly use any more of it? I could barely get thru the burrito as it was. So, overall, if you want a fancy, spicy breakfast burrito, served by friendly people with an easy takeout experience, this is your place. For me, I'll probably try something else next time. (Did I mention the burrito was really, really spicy?)

Super tasty, super cut neighborhood place. The mocha was perfectly delicious. I got the BLAT (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato), which came with home fries. It was super yummy, the bread was soft and lightly toasted, great ratio of bacon and other ingredients. My friend also got a sandwich with a side of salad and her salad also looked good! Lovely atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating. There are three four-tops in a temporary structure and five two-tops under a bunch of umbrellas, which provide plenty of shade / protection from light rain. Just a really nice vibe. We arrived at around 11:30am on a Saturday and waited about 10 minutes for a table. I would definitely arrive either before 11:30am or after 12:30pm since it seems like it got pretty busy during the lunch rush.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning and it was amazing! I ordered the breakfast burrito with a side salad and a sesame bagel with cream cheese to share. The burrito was very filling and the salsa they added was so good it made the burrito 10x better! Side salad was refreshing too since the burrito was pretty heavy so it was a nice balance. The bagel and cream cheese was just a regular bagel nothing special but still very good. The staff was really friendly and we got seated outdoors which was nice since it was a sunny day out. Overall, would definitely come back for a nice brunch!

Came for brunch. They have a nice outdoor seating area, and offers up a nice selection of brunch items. We got 2 types of omelettes: the smoked salmon and the southwest omelette. Both were good, but it's not anything special. I like that you can choose 2 sides: salad, home fries, fruits and bread. They also have grapefruit mimosas- which was yummy.

One of my favorite brunch places in the city. There's always a wait to get in, especially on the weekends, but the wait is fast (15-20 minutes). Both outdoor/indoor seating available. They have traditional brunch food - eggs/toast/sandwiches or the more healthy option of salad In house potatoes are filling and delicious! I made the mistake of assuming they were French fries. To my surprise it is potatoes cooked and sliced. I usually order the egg scramble or trout sandwich. Portions are large so plan to have leftovers or share with a friend :)

Service is quite stupid here. They only have about 2 tables for two people so you can be waiting for an hour or longer and you'll keep getting skipped for parties of 3+ because they don't want any of their table seats to go to waste. So unless you're okay with being skipped for a long period of time, I don't recommend. On top of that, the lady who was seating people was rude when I brought it up to her that my party was skipped twice. I'm sure the food is good because that's why it's so busy but you don't just skip parties who have been there waiting for long to seat people who came minutes ago because they have more people.

First time coming here. Very small inside, and a lot of seating outside. It was a beautiful afternoon in SF. Ordered the Almond Danish for an app - it was a bit dry. Maybe if heated or if I ate it more fresh (earlier in the morning) it would've been better. But the middle was delicious. Loved the flavor. Got the southwest scramble as my main entree with fruit and their house fries as sides. DELICIOUS! The scrambled eggs was amazing, the potatoes are well seasoned, and the fruit was the perfect palette cleanser and medium between sweet and savory. Really liked this place. Found it through yelp and am very happy that we decided to come here :)

This place is quite popular on the weekends, about a 30 minute wait for brunch. The waiting list may look intimidating but a lot of parties seem to not show up, so it's not as bad. They have a takeout window. The portions are huge and very tasty!

The food quality and service is wonderful here. We enjoy bringing our family here for a relaxing morning meal. We got the breakfast burrito w salad and all meat scramble w potatoes and salad. It was absolutely delicious, compliments to the chef!

Chloe's is my neighborhood cafe, and I've eaten here for decades. Usually I get one of the scrambles for breakfast. Recently, though, I discovered the chicken apple sausage sandwich, and it's luscious. The sausage itself is great, but what really sets their sandwiches above the others is the tomatoes. They actually taste like real tomatoes, not pink styrofoam. Yum!

It was my first time here . I went on a Thursday morning . There was no line which was great . I could sit wherever I liked . The employees were super super nice , friendly and welcoming. Especially the young lady who was the host and server was so friendly and attentive. I ordered southwest scramble and coffee . The food was just great , so tasty ,I loved it . . The seasoning was just right and overall everything was perfect . Coffee was refillable. You can also find a spot to park . It's easy. I was there around 8:30 am . They have inside and outside sitting area. I would definitely go back to try something else. The only reason I am giving 4stars not 5 is because I was not done with my food . I was still enjoying my food and drinking my coffee , another lady came and brought my bill . They never asked if I want to order something else? Actually I wanted to order a bowl of fruits but after she brought the bill , I thought oh well . It's ok . Like I mentioned I will go back for sure .

4.5/5 I'm not a lover of brunch usually, but this place was a great spot to come to if you were to go! We put our names down on the waitlist on a rainy Sunday morning and walked down the street to a book and pet store while we waited. Time flew and we were able to be seated. We opted for bar seating since it was raining outside. We were served promptly. We ordered: - Southwest scramble: excellent eggs scramble done right and the fact that you can get two sides is really awesome. We got the fruits and the home style fries (more like cubes). - Chicken Apple Sausage Sandwich: you can pick one side for the sandwich and we picked the potatoes as well. The sausage was soooo good, the best chicken sausage I've ever tried. - Banana Walnut Pancake: we did a half order of the pancake because we wanted to get something sweet to share and it was an excellent choice. I love getting pancakes for brunch that are unique and this one really hit the spot like none other. It's a small nook of a place that packs a lot of flavor and character. The service was good mostly except that my friend asked to replace the ham in her scramble with avocado and they didn't but they fixed it for her when she brought it to their attention.

This place is very cute. For a neighborhood cafe, I don't expect this to be fancy. But at some point, the management is able to pull it off to make it more convenient and presentable to the public. Waiting in line is not a problem for me. Secondly the food looks incredibly good on pictures but they aren't really tasty as much as they look. However, most of the food they serve here are very nutritious. I'm not expecting this place to be perfect. It is pretty decent exteriorly but the staff here aren't really welcoming to customers. I understand that things get really busy but I also used to work in a food business. Customer service is very important so that the customers will eventually return. Overall, this place is simply OK.

Food was good and service was great! With the rain they set up umbrellas to allow people to sit outside which was nice, especially since we walked here with our dog. I had a create your own omelet with the impossible sausage.

AMBIANCE: 9/10 (quaint and vibrant cafe) FOOD: 7/10 (big portions and beautifully plated, but taste wasn't amazing) PRICE: 8/10: very reasonably priced for the area SERVICE: 6/10 (servers were really nice and attentive, but they were clearly understaffed during peak hours otherwise this would be 9/10) THE WAIT: Be prepared to wait a long time during peak hours on the weekend (we waited an hour for a table at 12:30pm on a Saturday). You write your name on a clipboard, and wait around for your name to be called. You might get turned away well before closing time if they're busy and the wait is too long. THE EXPERIENCE: Their seating is almost exclusively outdoor patio seating (bar/counter seating and one table inside). The food was good, but worth the wait? Probably not. You get big portions, and it's very aesthetic, but the taste is average. I recommend you come on a slower day / time for a casual meal! But avoid on a busier day.

I am so happy to have found this spot! Portions are huge, the potato's were AMAZING, side salad was the first thing I devoured!!!! The scramble dish comes with TWO sides which is always a plus. The only down side of this place is the long wait time (I waited almost an hour for only a 2 people table) and then just like every restaurant in SF you're eating elbow to elbow next to others in the street. Can't do much about that but that does deter a reason for picking this spot. Would recommend still to others.
