First time experience at this restaurant, upon entering with my significant other, the establishment was clean and up kept. we were seated immediately on a Sunday afternoon while waiting waters are brought out. I ordered the Korean short rib 10 out of 10 and my significant other order the Bulgogi 10 out of 10 all the side dishes were very flavorful 10 out of 10 they also bring out side dishes of rice to go with your meal. We would definitely be returning to this location. Please bring family /friends or if you’re on a date and you don’t want all the Korean BBQ smoke on your clothes. This is a amazing restaurant to try out. They also have marinated crab, which I really wanted to try but will next time.

Based on the service and ambiance it's a 4. For food, only 3. I came here hungry, and Chodang Village did the job—my stomach was satisfied. The server was excellent—quick, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed, from a napkin and fork to getting the check right on time. The place itself was clean with a nice, cozy ambiance and comfortable seating. The food, though, didn’t really wow me. It was decent but not memorable. Lunch was a bit pricey at $20+, especially when there are other places with cheaper options (though those often serve blah food). Still, if you’re looking for a neat and clean spot with good service, this place works.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I absolutely fell in love with it! It’s a small, cozy, and very clean spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Sometimes these hidden gems are the best—and this place truly impressed me. The food was excellent, both in taste and portion size. Everything we ordered came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend the short rib soup—it was rich, hearty, and so comforting. The tofu soup was also delicious, with just the right level of spice, and the grilled mackerel was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. I loved it so much that I brought my family and some friends from out of town back with me on my second visit—and everyone absolutely loved it! They were just as impressed with the food and the cozy atmosphere. I also ordered take out a few times as well. You can tell they care about quality and presentation, and I really appreciated how clean and well-kept the entire place was. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers on both food and experience, but this one truly does. I’m already looking forward to coming back again and trying even more from the menu. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a satisfying, home-style Korean meal in a relaxed and welcoming setting!

Google
Cho Dang Village - 5/5 Great Korean restaurant. Everything we had tasted good. The short rib was thick, tender, and delicious. Their kimchi jigae was one of the better ones in the DFW area, and the seafood soon tofu soup was also up to par. For their sides the japchae and cucumber I really liked. Their kimchi probably isn't the very best around but was still good. The speed at which they brought out our food was really impressive and everything still seemed freshly cooked and hot. The only issue was that there was spilled soup on the floor next to our table which wasn't very pleasant.

Have been coming here over the years. Great family place for authentic korean food. Amazing kimchi tofu soup, cold noodles dish for summer. Decent price

This is my frequently visited restaurant. I normally come here for sundubu, but in the summer, I like to look for cold noodles. I tried the non-spicy and the spicy versions, and I prefer the spicy one (mildly spicy). The non-spicy tasted more vinegary. You can’t go wrong either way. The mustard changes the flavor profile and makes everything taste even better. And the order comes with the regular side dishes!

I've been to many korean restaurants since i'm from the west coast, and this place really made it to the top. The place is very clean, and welcoming. Not noisy, and has enough space for people to sit and enjoy time with family and friends. Even the lighting was good because we could see the food and our friends clearly! The food was so delicious and everything tasted the way it was supposed to taste, NOT ONE FLAVOR! Their serving size was also perfect and wow! I'm not someone who is able to eat spicy food, but the spice level that I asked for was perfect for what I could take in my soup! Service was also perfect because they would grab our plates just in time. This is a family friendly restaurant and highly recommended by me and my friends! Thank you for serving us well! It might get busy during dinner time so make your way there before everyone does!

So. Much. Food. Everything was delicious! Their combination meals are totally worth it!! Got the seafood & beef tosu soup combo with beef bulgogi as well as the bibimbap with spicy pork bulgogi, then also got the seafood pancake. They give multiple little side dishes which you can always ask for more! As well as a kettle of hot tea which kinda tastes like barley tea. My family and I left stuffed. I would totally come back and I want to try even more food. Service was on top and everyone was super nice and attentive!

Yelp
Truly a hidden gem of Plano Texas, food was soooo authentic and service was amazing!!! The environment is really clean as well. 10/10 would come again!!!!

Yelp
Cho Dang Village is a longtime local go-to for a bubbling stone bowl of jjigae, and I'm thrilled they've opened location in Plano. The tofu soup options are served with fish and abundant banchan. My go-to is pork tofu soup, mild spiciness, but you can't go wrong. When we feel like splurging, we also like to share LA galbi sometimes. Their fresh kimchi is crispy and juicy, and you can buy a jar to take home, too. Their parking lot is always packed. I love how brightly lit it is, and service is prompt. Fun fact: their chairs are designed so you can lift up the seat and store your things underneath!

Yelp
My friend and I went to Cho Dang in Plano for dinner today for some cold noodles. Shortly after we walked in we were seated at a table. The restaurant is well lit and it kind of feels like you're sitting outside based on the decoration and layout. This is a nice and quiet restaurant perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying with family. We ordered the spicy cold noodles Korean bbq rib combo and a hot stone bibimbap. Everything here was delicious and I enjoyed the banchan as well. The vegetables and apples on the Korean cold noodles tasted fresh and complemented the dish perfectly. They also give you scissors to cut the noodles and bbq rib which is sooo useful. This location gives me a different vibe from the Carrollton location as the Carrollton one feels like I'm eating inside someone's house. You can't go wrong with either location though!

Yelp
This is one of my wife's and my favorite restaurants. We are big fans of the original restaurant in Carrollton and were excited when a new one opened in Plano. They were able to host a large gathering for my wife's birthday. And they did such a great job! The tofu soup, sundubu, is excellent! And it's a great place to relax with our church group. We have always had friendly and attentive service. We definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for quality Korean food in Plano!

Yelp
My cousins met up for lunch at Cho Dang Village in Plano. I've been here multiple times already and have enjoyed it each time. They are known for their soondubu but they have other dishes such as bibimbap, cold noodles, and meat. I decided to try their octopus noodles, which is one of their special dishes. It comes on a sizzling stone plate with sliced octopus and assorted vegetables stir fried in a spicy sauce with noodles. The serving is huge and you always get complimentary banchan that you can refill for free. Their kimchi is really good and I also like their cucumbers. The octopus was very tender and they give you plenty of it. I love stir fried vegetables since they're a bit more softer with a more grilled flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked too. It had a nice spicy but not too spicy flavor. I didn't know what to expect with this dish but I ended up really liking it

Yelp
Always consistently good and fast Service surprisingly good compared to other asian owned restaurants iykyk One of my favorite bibimbaps Soondubu is solid Beef short ribs can sometimes be hit or miss Love the banchan selection They usually have the cucumbers and japchae, both my favorites. Always quick to refill waters and banchan One of my favorite Korean restaurants in Plano

Yelp
This is a staple for Korean food in Carrollton for a reason. They have a simple but diverse menu. The portion sizes are good for a fair price. The food is always delicious and the banchan is plentiful. They are very Korean, so I sometimes do feel like you get better service if you're with someone that speaks Korean, but it is never a deterrent. The restaurant is busy, and rightfully so! Great for large parties as well. I have been here a couple of times but this is my first time writing a review. Had the galbitang, which was delicious. Well seasoned, huge chunks of meat, and large enough for leftovers. My friends had the soondubu, which was also good. This is truly a classic and I'll definitely have to be back!

Yelp
Got dinner with the family here and we were very full. Portions are generous for the price, and the small kimchi and japchae noodle sides are included with the meal and unlimited. The rice that comes with the hot soups had a delicious texture, but quickly stuck to the metal bowls which was a waste of good rice. With the unlimited refills on the small sides that were automatically brought out without us asking, many of them became leftovers that I hope do not become food waste. Our waitress was also pushing toward certain higher priced items like the small ribs which were well-liked by the group but $30. Their menu definitely caters to the meat-loving crowd. Unfortunately I don't think this is a place with vegan entree options as the green onion pancakes contain eggs, and both the meat and vegetable tofu soup hot pots use the same broth base, which had hints of a seafood taste. There are definitely places that serve authentic Korean food that is more plant-focused and less wasteful, so while some folks in my family enjoy their food, I will be putting my money elsewhere.

Yelp
FOOD Spicy Grilled Pork - Pretty good and flavorful. The portion size is pretty big and perfect for sharing. Vegetable & Green Onion Pancake - the pancake was a lot more on the doughy side than I'm used to. The flavors were still there, and the vegetables came in good proportion. VIBES The place is very spacious. Seating is table seating very well lit and clean. We went around 11:30 AM on a Monday and it wasn't as crowded but towards lunchtime there are a lot of people that come in. SERVICE Service is fast. The lady is really nice. They were fast to get our food out and checked on us overall pleased with the service.

Yelp
We came today for the tofu and spicy pork bulgogi combo! The restaurant was busy but they got us in without waiting for a long time :) I really like how clean and bright this place is. The food is delicious and well balanced with great selection of banchan. Beef Tofu: very tasty and flavourful but a bit salty Bulgogi: a little dry but very good still Service: they were busy so it was a little hard to get their attention. Still, they did get us extra jap chae and got the bill on time. Will come again soon! Especially when it's not so busy because I think it might be a home run for us since it's a good restaurant to grab Korean food.

Yelp
This is their second location that opened fairly recently in Plano. Their original location is in Carrollton. I've never been and was craving a soondubu so we came by for a late lunch on Friday. This location is really big with plenty of seating. It was about half full when we came by and some of the staff was taking their lunch break. They have a good selection on their menu. I ordered a beef soondubu. The side dishes came out pretty quick and were all pretty good. The soondubu was alright, not really special but not bad either. There were two noticeable differences between this place and other Korean restaurants that serve soondubu - they offer a grilled yellow croaker along with the side dishes if you order soondubu and the hot stone pot rice comes with a kettle of hot broth. I felt that the yellow croaker wasn't grilled quite enough - it was cooked through but I was hoping for more crunch. The broth with the rice was a nice touch especially hearing that sizzling sound when you pour it over the rice. Also, they give a very generous amount of rice - I think it was 300-400g.

Yelp
Cho Dang is an easy go to for great tofu soup! The Plano location has lots of seating and great service. However, parking does fill up fast during meal times. I enjoy their beef tofu soup, with lots of tender meat and flavorful broth. One of my favorite parts is how soft the rice is. It is cooked in a pressure cooker and leaves crispy rice on the bottom to enjoy. They also give lots of side dishes and free fried fish with the soup. Overall an amazing experience every time!

Yelp
Food was delicious! Even our waitress said we ordered too much food! Ha ha! Not all of it is pictured here for my first visit! The inside is clean and open. Lots of spots to choose from for seating. Wonderful Korean food! Authentic for sure. The sides they bring you are fantastic and all are refillable on demand. Tons of kimchi and additional flavored items. Beans, onions, and gelatin, cucumber, bean sprouts, ..etc. This comes with a grilled yellow croaker. That I didn't like. It's a fish with too many bones and innards. I'll make sure that's not part of my menu option. I'll save that fish for someone who enjoys eating that as to not waste food. FYI, It's "deep fried whole and battered " if that's your thing you might like it! We had the Korean kimchi and green onions pancake, it's served like a pizza. They include a homemade container of red sweet sauce you can add as a side for dipping. It's rather spicy/sweet and super good! Or you can add the provided soy sauce on top of the pancake. Diners choice. My friend ordered the hot stone bibimbap, with beef, the rice is nice and crispy on the bottom. Another great dish. The short ribs are delicious! Do try these while you're here! I had the kimchi tofu soup, I added the egg when the soup arrived so that it could cook. I like spicy food so this soup was level 5. This may not be your level so be gentle with yourself. There are 5 levels of spice when it comes to Korean food. Be careful when ordering if you are not used to extremely spicy food. Level 2-3 is fine for the general public. This is another copy of the restaurant in Carrollton. It's good too. But for me the drive is closer for great Korean food. This place will fill up fast come the evening. The local Asian community will fill up this place fast so plan accordingly! As a asian girl trapped in a white girls body, this is my kinda food!! I will be back without a doubt! Glad this place is open in Plano! April 2024

Yelp
My husband and I have heard great things about Cho Dang Village in Carrollton, so now that the Plano spot has opened up much closer to us, we had to give it a try. We swung by right before catching a movie at the Cinemark down the street and were in and out in about 35 minutes on a Thursday night. We like trying a little bit of everything so we ended up ordering a LA galbi and bibim naengmyeon combo + a kimchi oyster soondubu and spicy bulgogi combo. The banchan that came out ahead of our entrees were all great; I especially enjoyed the japchae and squid kimchi, as well as the fried fish! My favorites of the night were probably the super tender kalbi and the flavorful soondubu. Loved the oysters and the kimchi flavor in that. The naengmyeon and bulgogi were also quite solid; the sweetness of the slice of apple in the naengmyeon paired really well with the savory and spicy flavors of the broth and noodles. Be aware that even in 1/2 order size, the naengmyeon is huge! We couldn't finish everything so we packed a lot of it away. Unfortunately the rice noodles in the naengmyeon get super mushy after any amount of time sitting in the broth, so after a few bites of leftovers a few days later we had to toss it. However the leftover soondubu and spicy bulgogi held up really well and made for a great lunch later. All in all a pretty good Korean addition to the strip malls at Legacy and 75; I'll probably be back at some point to try some of the other things on their menu!

Yelp
Whenever i want tofu soup, i used to drive all the way to Carrollton to get my fix. I can't believe that i like this location more than the Carrollton restaurant! The interior is bright, new and clean! The service is REALLY good, and i never feel rushed. The servers all have smiles on their faces and genuinely seem to care about your experience. The banchan here is different, they have a better variety including glass noodles, sea kelp in mayo, crisp pickled cucumber, etc. It seems they rotate banchan unlike the carrollton spot. The soup is delicious, the galbi is marinated to perfection...i am so thankful there is a location in plano now! Go here, you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Cho Dang in Carrollton is my favorite sundubu or tofu soup restaurant in DFW. They just opened a new location in Plano. The quality is still overall very good but not as good as the Carrollton location. The banchan and tofu soups were not as flavorful. They just opened so totally okay with any service hiccups. I'm sure they'll work it out. Restaurant is brand new and pretty spacious. Great to have them on this side of town and will definitely satisfy any sundubu cravings.

Yelp
TLDR: Doesn't hold a candle to the OG location in Carrollton. Decided to check out the Plano location since I've never been before and am a fan of Carrollton location. Ordered the beef soondubu and the soup was quite bland and watery even though I got it with medium spiciness. Medium spiciness was not spicy at all. They also didn't provide an egg, which I thought usually accompanied all soondubu. Furthermore, I didn't even see the egg as an add-on in the menu. If the egg's not included due to the egg shortage or rising prices, they could at least mention that and be upfront about it. Dare I say is it even soondubu without the experience of cracking a raw egg into the boiling soup! Also a bit skimpy on the banchan. Save yourself the trip and just go to the Carrollton location instead.

Yelp
** Great tofu soup, grilled meat, and all around authentic Korean food! Good service and business is already booming a few days after opening. I'm glad a lot of Korean restaurants from Carrollton are coming over to Plano! This location is very close to where I am and I've been eyeing it for a while since they've been setting up. I came on the second day after opening with my wife and there were already a good amount of people, we waited around 10 minutes. While we do have a good rotation of Korean restaurants nearby with Maht Gaek, kookso, doma, etc., I've been wanting a good tofu soup place, and Cho dang didn't disappoint! The meat portions were very generous and the flavor was there. After recently trying BCD tofu house in SoCal, I was glad to see that the quality here was comparable! The LA Kalbi combo was a nice touch, with super tender and flavorful seasoning. I liked how the meat was juicy and not too sweet. I know my wife particularly likes the seafood pancake at the Carrollton locations as well. We were way too full this time but will be on the lookout for it next time around!

Yelp
Back in 2019, I attended the grand opening of Cho Dang Village in the Korean Mall in Carrollton,TX and it was authentic, with fresh & tasty dishes. The setting was a big dining room, dimmed lighting, and big comfy booths. Staff was very attentive, helpful, and pleasant. This newer Cho Dang Village in Plano, TX is smaller, open, brightly lit, with small tables for 4. It is also very popular, all seats were taken, but my wait was short. Diners were small families, or chatty young adults somehow eating, and holding brisk convos. I had Spicy Beef & Veggies Soup, (Korean name: YukGaeJang). This comes with the traditional BanChan assorted spicy sides, and a steaming bowl of white rice. This was very good, just like the original location! (BanChan is bottomless) West side of Central Xpwy 75, on north side of Legacy (next to Race Trac gas)

Yelp
I've been going to the original Carrollton Cho Dang location and I was super happy to hear that they opened in Plano too. I can safely say the quality is the same as the already loved Carrollton location! The food is super tasty, the tofu soup is one of the best in the DFW area and their sides are all really awesome. I love that they give you the rice in the metal pot so that the sides get crispy and you can pour in the barley tea after. One of my favourite parts of the meal!! This new location is around the same amount of seating as the old one but they modernised it and made it feel more open. It doesn't feel as homey but it feels clean and well done. If you love the other location you'll love this one! Without the far drive and insane parking of the Carrollton plaza
google avatar

Hannah N.

Yelp
Located in a new shopping strip across the street from Mitsuwa, there is a stark difference between this location and the one in Carrollton. Their decor is more modern with cooler tones and big windows while the other location is more homey with rich wood decor. This space is also bigger which is great because it is a popular spot. The food seems to be the same so that's good. I got the bibimbap because I wasn't in the mood for tofu stew. I was a bit disappointed in the pajeon because it was not as crispy as I've had in the past. This is actually the main reason I come to Cho Dang Village. Hoping it was a fluke. I will say that it felt warm in there. It's a corner spot so there's huge windows with lots of sun coming in. The service was ok but they're busy and do their best. We were in and out and people kept coming. Appreciate that there is a location now on this side of Dallas.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Food - 3 Service - 3 Value - 3 I didn't really see what the hype of this place was, but it was very popular soit seems to have wide appeal. The tofu soup and kalbi were nothing special, but weren't horrible either -- just decent enough not leave a bad memory, but not standout enough to leave a positive impression either. I probably wouldn't come back here again.
google avatar

Paul G.

Yelp
In my opinion, this place serves the best Korean tofu in Dallas, there is no equal. The service and ambiance is acceptable and typical of a Korean restaurant. I love their tofu soup as was very flavorful and I ordered it with max spiciness, which has a nice kick and added good impact to the soup. The bbq meats are also great.
google avatar

Alice L.

Yelp
Got the standard tofu soup & the grilled mackerel. Service was ok, the usual Asian standard of taking your order, dropping it off & then you're on your own to flag down whatever you need. Food took quite a while & it tasted fine, nothing really outstanding. Would not get the mackerel again, a lot bonier than I thought.

Yelp
Been to the Carrollton location many times, but first time here! The interior is soooo much nicer, cleaner, and spacier than the Carrollton location as it's brand new, and service was great even though it is so new! Keep in mind the menu at this location is slightly different!! We got the soondubu soup, teriyaki chicken, and seafood pancake. The side dishes that came out were pretty good and flavorful, I really liked the salad that came. They do NOT have the spicy chicken and soondubu combo, just the teriyaki chicken which was okay. It was sweet but the sauce wasn't the dark brown teriyaki sauce you would expect, it was just very light in flavor and wasn't memorable at all. I definitely prefer the spicy chicken which is delicious in the Carrollton location! The soondubu itself was pretty good, but also not as flavorful as the Carrollton location in my opinion. It lacked that body of flavor, but it was still good. A word of warning is that the spice level is higher than the Carrollton location! We usually get spice level 4 in Carrollton which is spicy but comfortable, but when we got it here, it felt like the 5. The 5 at this location is SUPER spicy!!! The seafood pancake was great, chewy and freshly made with crunch on the outside. We liked this a lot and it gave us a break from the spicy soup. Service was good but a little slow, it was pretty busy and they are new so it wasn't a big deal. Overall a great place for soondubu and while closer and nicer than the Carrollton location, I definitely prefer the flavors and option of the Carrollton location more!

Yelp
The food was delicious! This was my first time here and I had a great experience. My waitress was super kind and polite and they served us the food relatively quickly. I liked how the restaurant had a tv playing a food eating show (my friend likes to watch someone eating while eating). The seating arrangement was very organized and clean. I really enjoyed the kimchi tofu soup and definitely recommend it. If you haven't had Korean food yet, this is definitely a good place to start!
google avatar

Michelle I.

Yelp
Decided to check it out for lunch. My husband enjoyed the lunch bento box and I got the bimbibop. The food was good but didn't think it was anything special. The menu had lots of soups/tofu dishes. I would like to come back and try those as it seems like that is what the restaurant is known for. I just wasn't in the mood for hot broth dish in the Texas heat. Staff was friendly.

David K.

Yelp
The food and service is very good. We were a large group and had an opportunity to try a variety of dishes.

Yelp
My favorite tofu soup place opened a new location in Plano! Now I don't have to go all the way to Carrollton. It's just as good, and service is way better. I love how bright the restaurant is, but it's also freezing cold with the AC on max. My dad and I shared the spicy pork and we each got our own tofu soups, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Their side dishes are the best, and the tofu soup is so flavorful with a ton of protein. Cho Dang will always have my heart.

Yelp
I'm a fan of Korean foods since watching Korean Television during the pandemic and deciding to give it a try. I've also been cooking it and there are things that are my favorites like the Seafood Tofu Soup. They have it here! I tried a mild spicy level (it was too mild for me and I'm not good with spicy food), next time I'll order it as Medium spicy level. It was delicious and just what I needed. The Banchan (side dishes) were super tasty and I got to try some I've never tried before like the Acorn jelly and garlic sticks. The Japche was super delicious and I enjoyed the radish and cabbage kimchis. I'll be coming back for sure. They also have containers of banchan to go! I highly recommend buying kimchi here instead of the pricey jars at the typical supermarkets. Our table server was very kind.

Yelp
I like to try new things and we gave this place a shot & was a little disappointed. It lacked flavor. Place just opened & it was clean, good service, but is missing character. I personally have had better korean food before.

Jolie C.

Yelp
By far my favorite place for tofu soup!! Service is quick and the wait staff is so friendly and welcoming. I go here all the time and bring all my friends. Weekends are definitely busier than the week, but service is quick and easy. My favorite go-to spot!

Yelp
Lunch on Friday with my team here was sooo good. Food coma inducing.. Seriously they had awesome service, everyone was so attentive! We ordered the choose 2 - combos each and turned out to be a lot of food. Seafood pancake was huge and very shareable, although a tad bit too oily. Moving on to entree I had the Hot stone bimbimbap bowl + the Korean short rib. Short ribs were so good and juicy and the plates were huge the hot stone bowl was so packed and filled with lots of veggies and rice. Worth it. Tofu soup I tried was delicious as well. This spot reminds me of BCD Tofu house and so much closer to me! Definitely coming back soon!

Yelp
We love Cho Dang Village! Have been going to their restaurant located in Carrollton and we were so happy to hear that they opened a location now closer to our home. The interior is bright and spacious. We came for lunch on a Sunday and thankfully we didn't have to wait at all to be seated. We ordered their beef tofu soup, Galbi and dollar bibimbap. If you have never been here, just to let you know, the rice is being prepared in a hot stone bowl. Once you get and out all the rice, pour some hot barley tea into the rice pot and enjoy some nulungi. A perfect way to finish a good Korean traditional lunch/dinner. Our server was super nice and our food/dishes were brought to us quite fast. They often checked on us with water refill. There could be some delays and hiccups when you come in as they just opened and as you know mistakes can happen. Just be a little patient with them. For me 5 stars all the way. Great food and great service!

Yelp
So glad to finally have a location in Plano for traditional Korean food. This location is brand new, but the food and service are great. The interior looks very bright and modern. We ordered Galbi, Seafood Pancake, Octopus Noodles and Tofu Soup. The food came out promptly and tasted fresh. Everything tasted great, and the octopus noodles weren't as oily as some other restaurants which was a plus. We will definitely return.

Yelp
This is Cho Dang's second location and I love Cho Dang! I always order the beef tofu soup combo with short ribs and there's enough left over for another meal. The pancakes are delicious too - you can't go wrong with the kimchi or seafood one. Staff is great and I've never had a long wait.

Yelp
Cho Dang's tofu soup is always consistently good and heart warming. This is apparently their new location in Plano and the restaurant is set up quite nicely! The tables and chairs can accommodate parties of 4 very comfortably. I do think the prices have increased over time which is a bit of a bummer considering this is just tofu soup. But the quality of the soup and side dishes is always tasty and I enjoy coming back if I'm craving sundubu.

Yelp
Authentic Korean food in DFW! I highly recommend if that's what you're seeking out. I always order the bulgogi- it's my favorite.

Yelp
Its been a while since I had Korean food. Just found this place online when my sister a korean restaurant nearby. When we came in, the vibes feels diffeent. It's like a cozy korean spot. Plenty of seating but tables only had 4 chairs. It was comfortable and the staff were heplful. I had the tofu soup ant it was refreshing! The octopus noodles has a nice chew. We also had galbi in hot stone which I will rate 3 stars. My sister loved the spicy pork bulgogi. Banchan is plenty and tasty. Overall, I can say this place is great and a must visit.

Yelp
Newly opened restaurant with authentic Korean food. We went during lunch time, so the wait wasn't bad. Staff was super friendly. The seafood pancake is a must-try dish. They also gave you tea for the rice which I wasn't sure what to do with it, hopefully I would be more adventurous next time. The space was big, I didn't feel too crowded.

Yelp
I've visited this location three times. I was happy to see that they opened up a location in Plano. The food quality is comparable to the Carrolton location and the service is impeccable. We've never had a glass unfilled and the servers are acutely attentive to our needs, whether it be an extra side of kimchi, or suggesting mung bean jelly without sauce for my young son. The ambiance is bright and clean. My wife and I order beef sundubu and the seafood green onion pancake. The pancake is a must have. The sundubu is flavorful, while the pancake is crispy and the accompanying sauce offers a nice contrast. I can confidently say this is the best sundubu spot in DFW (i'm picky when it comes to Asian food).

Yelp
Food was delicious here & reasonable prices. Especially thought the hot stone bimbimbap was good. Service was excellent.

Yelp
My uncle and I tried to come here one night while he was visiting; the line was so long we left. We then came a few days late for lunch. Lunch is where it's at! Not so much of a crowd and I absolutely love that they open at 10:30 am! The set up inside is nice, the menu is decent and the portions to price point is great! Our server was excellent; the ladies were so nice. Both my Uncle and I got combos. He chose the bibimbap and spicy pork bulgogi and I chose the spicy soybean soup and kalbi. We also ordered the seafood pancake. The banchan offered here was tasty, and I loved that our combos came with a small mackerel fish. The pancake was huge! Could've been a meal; definitely order if you have 4+ people in your party. It was cooked perfectly and it had a nice selection of seafood inside. My soup was amazing; just like my mom makes it and the kalbi was pretty decent. All in all it was a great dining experience.

Yelp
We love the food and service here. We have been here multiple times and it's great every time we have come. They give you a lot of side dishes and the soft tofu soup is amazing. We will definitely be back!!!

Yelp
I've been here a few times and have found the same issues every time. The sundubu soup is surprisingly under seasoned. All the other banchan are delicious. The place is clean and I haven't experienced any long wait times. I will say, service needs to be better. I have noted on each of my visits that they don't follow up on me as much as they do the Asian customers, especially those who speak Korean. It's almost like they do the bare minimum with everyone else, but go above and beyond for their particular demographic. Just a personal observation.

Yelp
The food is unbelievable, traditional Korean food. There is a wide variety of the traditional soups and other foods. I have already been back for more, and I suggest you try it as soon as possible. The service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was very clean.

Yelp
A great restaurant to get sundubu tofu soup! Soup combo is good value. Their soup is tasty, comes with 5 different options for spiciness. The banchan is ok. Their entree does not contain much vegetable. This place does get busy so come early if you can. It has the busy Korean canteen vibe. We were seated in the same long table with another couple. This brings me back to Asia.
