Google
cuuute cafe! they have complimentary chocolates (u can choose one that u wanna try) if ur a first time customer. quick note they have a lot of chocolates with liquor/alcohol in them. the chocolates were very rich and good in flavor, and they were very pretty! we had ordered two of the chocolates and two slices of cake, as well as a decaf mocha. the mocha actually tasted really nice, coming from someone who doesn't drink coffee that often! the cake was also really good, esp the sea salt cake!

What a lovely space. The hubs and I stepped out one evening to hear a friend perform at Chocolate Secrets. WOW! There is a restaurant and there's a space for live music and entertainment. When we arrived it was standing room only, so that was a bummer. We still enjoyed the music, but it's clear arriving even 10 minutes after is too late. The parking is interesting. There are only a few spaces in front of the restaurant. We found parking across the street (after we checked for multiple towing signs). I have plans to visit again (during the day) to explore and taste a few items off the menu. Overall, a pleasant experience.

This place is where I realized chocolate might be my actual soulmate. Walked in for “just one truffle” and left with a box, a cappuccino, two slices of cake, and mild financial regret. The live jazz made me feel like I should’ve worn a hat and had a mysterious past. Everything tastes like it was handcrafted by dessert angels with therapy degrees. Expensive? Yes. But cheaper than a breakup and twice as sweet.

Words can’t explain how amazing this place is. I initially went to see a friend perform ( K.Cooks and crew) but I ended up find a new place to visit when I want to listen to amazing music and vibe with likeminded individuals. The chocolate mousse cake was wonderful down to the last bite. The music was amazing and the desserts were a perfect match. I will definitely be returning.

I have been wanting to try Chocolate Secrets for years and was able to drop in for dessert and great music vibes! My bestie and I were doing restaurant/bar hops this evening and decided to end the evening here for desserts; we were not disappointed! The salted caramel cake was delectable, and the hot chocolate with a splash of Bailey's set the mood for the great vibes of the evening. If you want a good performance seat, I'd arrive at least 40 minutes beforehand!

Google
The chocolate cakes!! The chocolates!!! The cocoa!!! Oh my!!! What a fantastic place. They have amazing cakes and chocolates. If you're into Mexican hot chocolate (and honestly if you're not, something is definitely wrong), this is your place. The service was good. They have beautiful handmade chocolates. It's a lovely place to sit and relax while you enjoy your treats! I cannot wait to come back and try their high tea! We had a wonderful time.

Google
This was one of my favorite finds during a recent trip to Dallas. It is well worth a visit! I got a slice of cake, hot chocolate, and chocolates for my team and family. Every single thing was fantastic. I chose the chocolate espresso cake based on staff recommendation and I can honestly say it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. I got the dark chocolate hot chocolate and it was perfect. The staff here were also phenomenal and fun to talk to. 10/10 recommend and I can’t wait to go back!

Calling All Chocolate Lovers…. THIS is Chocolate Heaven, You MUST come here!!!! A quaint yet vibrant chocolate shop that has it all! Sweet, decadent, vivaciously beautiful, delicious chocolate treats and more… I came here for a Galentines chocolate making class - which was so cute and perfect with my gal pals! We were immediately welcoming by the shop owner who’s has been running this place for over 20years! Sweet Mama- is a loving motherly figure who is naturally adored by the staff and regular customers. The class was great! We started with choosing our mounds, next came the colored chocolates. As we painted our moulds, live Jazz music was being played and then we got to choose the between White/Milk/Dark chocolate as our fillers! (This was the BEST part- we ended up drinking liquid chocolate out of the cup!!! SoooOoooooo GooooooOooood!!!)) As we waited for the chocolate hardened in the fridges- we got an up close and in depth tour of the facility and learned about the different types of chocolates they make and serve! From Bon Bons to Truffles to Alcohol infused strawberries…They were to die for!!! Some of my favs were -Sea Salt Caramel -PBJ -Take Me Now As we toured the facility we got to learn how close knit the staff is and see their own creations- Chocolates in the Shape of Chanel Bags and Shoes!! This is definitely a great date place- something different for sure. We also happened to whiteness someone getting proposed to… “she said YES!” Overall a great quaint shop with an amazing experience!! No matter the occasion, I’m sure you will find something you love!!!

Yelp
I had the opportunity to try this place at a reserved wine and chocolate pairing today, 11/9, for a friends birthday. Overall, I will say it was an excellent experience. The young lady who specifically assisted us had impeccable customer service. She was very kind and accommodating to our high maintenance group of 5. I will say, initially one of the ladies at the front (not the young lady who ultimately helped us) was a bit rude and I was a bit leery, but our final hostess made up for her rudeness. I will definitely try this place again and tell my friends. Great chocolate, wine and atmosphere.

Yelp
I love Chocolate Secrets! Whether you're on a romantic, family/friend or solo date, the ambiance of Chocolate Secrets is perfect to enjoy a night out. Live music is my thing, so I especially appreciate that they offer live music Thursday-Sunday. The staff is amazing! Everyone is so kind and helpful. The establishment itself is perfect - one side houses the cafe/bar with cases full of sweet treats and wine/beer for enjoyment. The other side houses additional tables and high tables with a stage for live entertainment. I came on a Friday evening and throughly enjoyed the night. My Prosecco and chocolate cake were the perfect pair. The band playing was The Fingerprints; it was their first time performing here and they were incredible. Can't wait for the next evening spent at Chocolate Secrets!

Yelp
I'm really disappointed with this place over all. The parking situation is terrible, if you aren't coming from a specific direction, you have to make a circle around the block in order to park. My husband brought me here to pick out an assortment of chocolates as a special treat (I'm super pregnant). We entered at the chocolate shop side, the inside is cute and intimate, the display of treats is beautiful. The woman behind the counter was unable to offer any detail when asked about what was in one of the truffles with no description. I ordered a box of 9, so far I've had two and I'm so disappointed. The strawberry margarita and the orange truffle had none of the flavors promised, and the chocolate itself is hard. It's very waxy chocolate, which is not what you would expect quality wise when paying about $4 each- and they are very small. I'd honestly say these are the quality of a Lindt bar, but with less flavor. As a kicker, the boxes are cheap and difficult to put back together, very frustrating. I'll update my review of any of the subsequent sweets are better.

Yelp
Service: 10/10 Food: 8.5/10 Ambiance: 7.8/10 Local owned, live talent (jazz & r&b, fresh in-house sweet treats!!! Also great wine selection and decent lunch options. This is a place my friends and I have became regulars at. Because this family owned establishment has above the top long-standing servers that care about its customers and we seem to discover a new amazing treat every time we go! Thursday nights are best for live instrument. Friday/Saturday nights are best for live performances with a vocalist and instruments. Forever will be one of my go-to night caps. Great for hosting groups, private events, date night or a girls night out!

Ana D.

Yelp
We went around noon on a Saturday and feel conflicted about my review. So many love the atmosphere on Jazz Nights. I was hoping that while the daytime vibe might be more relaxed, it would still impress me. However, I found the inside to be run down, a bit smelly, and the service was very slow for it being just me and my friend for most of the time we were there. I was surprised to see that they served the water for our teas a very different levels. My friend's was almost spilling over while mine barely went halfway up the cup. Although that is a small detail, the expectation to be given a consistent pour when ordering hot water for tea seems like a simple ask. Maybe the nighttime fun disguises a bit of the issues we saw during the day. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place for a 'tea time'.

Mike S.

Yelp
Let me start with this; if you haven't been here then go right away. One of the most beautiful, peaceful and lovely places in Dallas. This place is mainly a chocolate place. However, they have award winning drinks (such as hot chocolate, that comes in different flavors). Now back to the chocolate... it's the closest thing you will get to Switzerland, and the designs are incredible and artistic (see the photos) Their chocolate is fresh and home made right there in site. The service is very welcoming and warm. If you appreciate chocolate drinks or chocolate, or a European feel. This will be your new favorite place.

Syd G.

Yelp
We don't get to Dallas much since we live in Fort Worth. However, we happened to be in the area and had dinner around the corner. Looking for something sweet and came across some great reviews for Chocolate Secrets. Glad we got here early enough in a Friday night since it got busy after we arrived. The aromas in here are amazing. Coffee and cranky made chocolate. The inside is very charming and elegant but not foo foo. We were surprised to hear the live music upstairs and wine being served. Now back to this chocolate. So many choices and we didn't want to over indulge. We split a chocolate layered cake slice and I picked out a dark chocolate bar that looked amazing. I might add the customer service here is remarkable. They're very nice and helpful. Oh my....that chocolate bar was gone in three bites. I had to control myself because it was incredible. I wanted to savor every bit but before I knew it was over. Then we started on the cake slice. Whatever was in that icing was heavenly. Loved that the cake itself was moist and packed a full punch of flavor in every bite. It was rich but we loved every bite.

Jake C.

Yelp
The live music session was dope. Great dessert and wine spot. If you're looking for a Thursday night date night. You should come through and enjoy the vibes.

Lynne T.

Yelp
Live music was phenomenal. A feature tonight (Saturday) as we celebrate my sorority's Founders Day. Lovely way to shoutout 22 brilliant women of the 1913 era with a strong vision! Firstly, we 22 women gathered here tonight also to toast the same. And secondly, to eat luscious chocolates! Table Service was oddly nonexistent. We asked the table next to us how to obtain foid/drinks and chocolates? Quick answer at the counter. With that I swiftly placed our order for Mexican hot chocolate, glass moscato, salted caramel mousse pie, and chocolates, most certainly chocolates, at the counter near the entrance. Was told that our order would be delivered to the table... we waited and waited and waited beyond an hour. Returned to the coffee bar for the cup of Mexican chocolate. Yum! Chocolate truffles were delicious too. At the service counter asked about the remaining order. Left the counter with chocolates and a slice of pie. Unfortunately my sister's glass of moscato was delivered to the table during the second music set. Our food plan going in for the celebratory evening was getting 3-4 appetizers. However, thoughts went immediately to the cheese platter and salads for the table. But that plan went up in smoke. Go here for the chocolate truffles and stay for the live music...

Caroline Z.

Yelp
Chocolate Mousse Cake Totally holds up as a single slice. So decadent, but not too sweet. Nice and moist. Perfect

Yelp
Such a fun place for a date or a night out with friends. They have a great wine selection and yummy treats. I love when they have their jazz nights because it's fun to just eat Yummy bites, Listen to music and drink wine with good company. The service is always on par!

Semi R.

Yelp
Worst costumer service, it seems like everyone is under the influence of something because they move so slow. I ordered a hot chocolate and when I asked for it they said that they forgot about it.

Alexandria M.

Yelp
What a delectable experience!! First timers get a free chocolate to try (I tried the lavender peach- amazing!) and all the desserts are well worth their price. Everything is made fresh in house daily! Parking was plentiful and all staff was incredibly helpful/kind. My favorite was the carrot cake. Can't wait to come back here for a chocolate making class!

James R.

Yelp
Really lovely little chocolate shop with additional activities to connect to the community through open mic nights and cool jazz.

Romeo D.

Yelp
A quaint place for tea. The amount of food was perfect and the choices of tea were more than adequate. I was a fan of the loose leaf oolong they had that day. Some highlights: The finger sandwiches were fresh and delicious with the bread being perfectly spongy. The chocolates provided just enough flavor to not interfere with anything else we were munching on. The service was attentive. The only complaint is that the venue is small with a shared open door to another business that had some type of event causing quite a bit of background noise.

Alyssa J.

Yelp
WOWOWOWOWOW 15/10 recommend this place to literally anyone and everyone!!! They have wine, cake, food, chocolate and it's all amazing!! The service is so great too bc everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable! The ambiance is casual/classy/beautiful. Overall I can't wait to come back and try everything else I didn't my first time!!!!

Dawm S.

Yelp
Delicious, decadent Bon bons, I was very impressed with all of their selection and the beauty of the chocolates!

Joanie G.

Yelp
I had been wanting to learn how to make chocolates for a while. So I gifted myself a chocolate making class here, for my birthday. It's a nice, quaint looking lil chocolate shop, until you get inside. Yes the area w displays of amazing chocolates with tables and decor is quaint, but it's a huge 2 story building w a chocolate factory upstairs, in several rooms. One entire, huge room, is a cooler with several large refrigerators/freezers, where their three varieties of chocolate, candy molds, edible paints, cookie sheets, trays, etc. are all located. Downstairs consists of several large areas/rooms as well. You have all things chocolate to choose from! You'll find an assortment of individual chocolate options in their display cases, fancy cakes, options for drinking chocolate, ice cream, coffee, beer, or wine, you can peruse their gift shop area, view their wine collection, in a separate room or sit outside on their patio. Additionally, they offer art from their art gallery, Live Jazz nights and tea parties! This place is amazing! We met two of Pam's, owner/chocolatier's Sons, John and Armand, that help out and work with her as well. They are both very friendly, courteous and Armand is a great teacher, very patient, generous and laid back. Armand came downstairs to get us and took us up to their chocolate factory. We got to choose some molds to design and get ready for chocolate, to make personalized candy. Once we taken to a workroom, we painted our designs in the molds. Next, we got to go into the walk-in cooler, to fill them with white, dark and/or milk chocolate. It was fun to fill them up with the chocolate and then scraping the excess chocolate off of the mold, it was very satisfying. We put the molds in a blast cooler, so the chocolate would set. Once they were cooled down enough and the chocolate had hardened, we got to unload the molds. A lot of banging and tapping to release the candy, lol. There's nothing like fresh, homemade chocolates, they were so good! Once we were done making candy, Armand let us go through the trays and trays of chocolates to choose what we wanted to try and take some home! The giant peanut butter cups are amazing! They hand make a variety of flavors of truffles, that were pretty awesome too! We tried so many various flavors of jeweled chocolates, that look too pretty to eat. They were amazing as well. Then of course we had the general option of various nut and praline chocolates also. We filled 3 boxes of chocolates to take home! Armand boxed them up in nice boxes w ribbon and even bagged them up, like a gift and filled w decorative tissue paper. All very classy! It will be nice to go and spend a Jazz night or have a tea party, at some point. You can't go wrong w any choice here. Everything is classy, organized, very clean and all very tasty

Brittany K.

Yelp
Cozy & quaint ! When I heard chocolate & wine , I was immediately interested ! I enjoyed the atmosphere & the sweet treats. My favorite was the brownie truffle but there's sooo many options. I highly recommend ! The staff was friendly & welcoming.

Rachel C.

Yelp
I love this place. Was there for a networking event and against my better judgement tried the dark chocolate pecan turtle with sea salt and a glass of wine. The candy was so good I went back two days later for more! The service is very attentive and they all were well versed on the many items that they offered. There's jazz during the week in the evenings which makes this a swell place for a night cap.

Dwaneika C.

Yelp
Okay so I went here with my homegirl because we wanted to check out the spoken word amateur night and lets start with the environment, beautiful setup and wonderful customer service; The place is just so inviting! Next is the food and wine selection, nice crisp wine with wonderful notes I tried a sauvignon blanc and it was so refreshing and tasty with my sandwich. LETS get into the sandwich, I got the magerita melt sandwich with turkey added and a spicy pecan salad.. fresh ingredients; flavorful sandwich nice tasty bread that tastes home baked and delightful pesto sauce. The event was funny and comfortable with a lot of first time performers, I will be returning and probably will perform next time. Oh the chocolate was delightful as well!

Diana R.

Yelp
The food was very good , I really enjoyed the ambiance of the place and the service was good, and the chocolate was very pleasant I like the different varieties.

Shunkecia L.

Yelp
I come bearing goodies from Chocolate Secrets . Believe it or not, this was my first time having such DELECTABLE chocolate and a charcuterie board in life. I loved the variety and the taste of jazz music to go along for the vibe! This place is PERFECT for lowkey date nights or to treat yourself for a solo date! The wait staff is incredibly nice and the vibe is just immaculate. When I went, parking was a bit hard for me but then I lucked out and got a spot up front. Would definitely visit again!

Tiffany R.

Yelp
Cute event space with a chill vibe. The band was decent and we were entertained, but there were opportunities. The gentleman who greeted us was nice. I would say Server, but he didn't serve us anything. He told us that we could visit the cafe side and bring our selections to the band side because they are short staffed. We ordered our food and it took about 20 minutes for our paninis--too long considering it was not crowded at all. The bread was tasteless and hard- what I would imagine concrete taste like. The "roasted turkey" just wasn't, and we didn't get any napkins. The sample chocolate I received was a struggle to bite. The two star rating is for the ambiance, band and the workers who we encountered -das it! I don't think I'll be back.

Manbir R.

Yelp
A perfect place for a romantic date. An equally perfect place for friends to chill over chocolate, glass of wine, savoury foods and live jazz music. Chocolate secrets is not just regular chocolate shop rather hand crafted different flavoured chocolate factory. You can pick and choose from the abundant variety displayed in front and pair it with your choice of wine. Now u definitely wanna try house special chocolate wine. Pay at the counter and follow to the jazz room. When you enter that room, you feel you have come to witness some show being displayed. There is a stage and tables to dine everywhere but not too crowded. We just sat down and merged ourselves in the show. Its was so melodic. You can order more wine or food from their savoury menu. Servers are there to serve you anything and they are courteous. I loved the place from decor to ambiance to music and everything in between.

Sophia K.

Yelp
It's a beautiful and atmospheric cafe. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and parking is easy to find. You can explore a variety of chocolates, so if you're a chocolate lover, I highly recommend visiting. The taste is excellent, and for first-time visitors, they offer a complimentary chocolate truffle to sample.

Lara H.

Yelp
This review is exclusively for the afternoon tea. I am very cautious about leaving reviews lower than 3 stars. Unfortunately, the afternoon tea at Chocolate Secrets was disappointing in every aspect. When we got there, we were seated at a table that had no napkins or silverware. The plastic wrap was still on the plate of sandwiches. We didn't have glasses or tea cups. It took asking several times and waiting over 10 minutes just to get napkins. That was only the start of the problems. They had a good selection of Harney & Sons tea bags, but it took a long time for them to come around with the water and it was lukewarm and even cold every time they refilled our cups. One of the members of my group didn't get a teacup. When she asked for one, she was brought separate tea and didn't get to use the tea she had selected. It was confusing. The food was sparse and not very good. We had a better selection than some other reviewers, but I didn't think any of the food was of the quality it should've been. The service was sub-par - it took asking several times to get basic things we needed like napkins, utensils, and tea cups. The entire experience felt like it was thrown together last minute, from the table setting to the food. I highly recommend avoiding the afternoon tea. They either need to make significant improvements or get rid of the afternoon tea completely.

Mariella T.

Yelp
I love the chocolate from here. My fiancé always gets it for me for special occasions and my favourites are the coconut and coffee truffles. I'm always looking forward to valentines, birthdays and anniversaries so I can enjoy the chocolate he brings me from here.

Erin M.

Yelp
We came here after a memorial service at the church next door for a light snack and coffee. There was a long wait to order because they spend a lot of time with each customer helping them pick out chocolates so it would have been nice to have more than one person working so one could be the Chocolate helper and one could just be taking coffee and food orders. It was really cool how they give you your first chocolate free! The cappuccino I ordered was the best I'd had since I'd been in Italy *chefs kiss*. The caramel latte was also delicious! Cheese cake was ok but not the best I've ever had. We really enjoyed the chocolates we bought and got some texas themes chocolate figures for easter baskets to (a chocolate cowboy boot and a small cowboy and cow girl, how fun!). They have a spacious seating area and a small patio as well. The high tea we saw others get looked amazing!

Tency M.

Yelp
This place is so exquisite, from the treats to the food, entertainment, and the service. This is a perfect place to go for a date night, time with the girls and loved ones. I actually got to meet the owner and she was the most genuine sweet person ever. If you ever need gift ideas please check this place out. I definitely recommend!!

Kimberly N.

Yelp
This place is perfect for a memorable date night, featuring live music and a selection of light food options. While the venue was a bit warm during our visit, it's understandable given the Texas heat lately. The service, unfortunately, was a bit sluggish, possibly due to a shortage of staff. Nevertheless, the overall ambiance was fantastic and exuded great vibes.

Martine N.

Yelp
It's been a very rainy day so, why not a great dessert to brighten my day. When I arrived at Chocolate Secrets, the parking was tight. And with the rain it was even tighter. There was a single driver in a white Mazda that decided it was a great idea to double park and thus blocking the flow thru the parking area. It gets worse. Now finally inside, I wait in line and wait and wait. Even though I am next to be served, I get passed by a family of four. Never mind me. When finally attended, I ask what cakes are left for the day, because the display case looks pretty sad. I am told carrot cake and plain cheese are left. I order the carrot cake, two truffles and two very small chocolate cookies to go. $21 and some change later, I arrive home with a hopefully delicious carrot cake, two small cookies and two truffles. IT WAS NOT A CARROT CAKE ! IT WAS CHOCOLATE CAKE! Dang ! The cake was passable. Tom Thumb actually makes a better chocolate cake. However, the bigger disappointment were the chocolate cookies that were stale and tasted like what I can only describe as CHOCOLATE PASTE. I have not tried the truffles. Maybe, I will write a review on those. To sum it up, Chocolate Secrets was not good on this rainy day and probably not good on any day.

Sherry R.

Yelp
This place is a recent discovery for my family and friends. Pam the owner is a delightful person. The coffee, chocolate, ice cream and paninis are amazing. They also have live jazz at certain times. Wonderful experience! I highly recommend Pam's Chocolate Secrets!

Josh O.

Yelp
A elegant and warm experience . A ideal place for an intimate/romantic date. Enjoy a glass of wine and some chocolate in addition to some live jazz music. The ambiance is already set, all that's missing is you. The chocolate is so divine and savory . The staff, out of this world customer service . Parking is a bit scarce but there's open parking within the vicinity. The place itself has intriguing and some interesting twists and turns about it. The owner is even more pleasant to encounter and so down to earth. This place shouldn't be a secret and I'm proud to support this black owned business .

Eric J.

Yelp
First time here, seen this place many times as I used to live just a few steps away but never stopped in. Glad we tried it and it is definitely a repeat! The vibe and ambiance is relaxing and very enjoyable. Looking forward to another visit and will definitely stay for the jazz music.

Sara S.

Yelp
This place literally has the sweetest employees and the yummiest goodies. They always go above and beyond to make sure their customers get what they're looking for. This is why myself and my husband have been repeat customers for years! Definitely recommend!

Tashana L.

Yelp
I was craving hot chocolate and decided to give them a try. I'm not sure what I expected, but this place was 20xs better than I imagined. The place was packed on a sat night! I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was live jazz being played. The line was long but moved fairly quickly. I ordered the Mexican hot chocolate, amaretto chocolate bites, and a bottle of chocolate wine. I appreciate that you can sample the wine before buying. You can also sample their ice cream, the butter pecan brandy icecream was DELICIOUS!! I'm definitely going back to get that icecream and try other treats.

Rene M.

Yelp
What a great place to relax and enjoy some live music! Food was good and easy to eat especially for an intimate music venue like this. Band was phenomenal and staff provided attentive service.

Aubree R.

Yelp
BEST HOT CHOCOLATE! Such great chocolate as well. If It is your first time they give you a free chocolate! Inside was cozy and had live music, and the staff was so friendly!

Ronald W.

Yelp
The times I have been here has been super. Enjoyed the atmosphere and entertainment offered. Would be nice if they had Nonalcoholic beers. I don't drink pops or sugary drinks due to a health problem.

Martha L.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere of Chocolate Secrets. The staff is friendly. Both the candy shop and dine in area were cozy and welcoming. If you love chocolate, this is definitely the place to go and experience some of the best chocolate I've ever had. There is a great variety of flavors to choose from. It's not your typical candy or price points, but well worth the trip. Other desserts are available, however, there isn't a huge selection. The dine in experience was definitely worth it. We went on a Saturday evening. There was live entertainment. If you are a fan of jazz, this is going to be worth the trip. The menu is rather limited. I ordered a panini and my daughter had the.crepes. Both were okay, not really special. The salad was fresh and flavorful. The food isn't bad. They specialize in chocolate, wine, cocktails. The food choices seem to be based on light snacks to go with your drinks. This isn't necessarily the place I'd have dinner, though you could. However, the wine, desserts, entertainment, and ambiance make Chocolate Secrets a winner in my book.

Vee F.

Yelp
Lesbi was the host of our chocolate making class and we could not be any more pleased with the experience!

Terry P.

Yelp
This is one most favorite places in the world the other is the beach. This chocolate is so darn delicious. Freshness in every bite. The staff super friendly and the Owner is amazing and so personable. I actually flew in from San Antonio to get my fix. It's so well worth it. This will last me another three months

R C.

Yelp
Over the last several years we've eaten every flavor of chocolate they sell. Luv it!!! The live music performers are worth going to see but get there early like at 7:20 or you'll have to wait for a seat. The atmosphere and service is always great.

Erin K.

Yelp
I stopped at this shop during regular open hours, but when I approached, it appeared closed. One of their doors was unlocked though and I walked in tentatively. It was dimly lit and when I found an employee I asked if they were open. They said no and seemed surprised I had walked in. That said, the young man offered to show me the chocolates and turned on the lights in the display cases. Although the two men behind the counter looked very young to me, and didn't give off vibes of being chocolate experts, as they began telling me about the truffles and other treats, it became quickly clear to me they were very well-versed in everything they sold and were among the staff who made and helped the head chef develop new flavors. I was really happy to have had the opportunity to shop here and was pleased with the box of chocolates I bought for myself. They were all beautiful and delicious. If I were in the area longer I would have liked to have tried some cake, and come back for live entertainment too. PS I did ask them about their open hours and it was a day and time they normally were open, but there were some bad weather conditions going on so they were closing earlier than usual that day.

Yelp
It was raining when I arrived and the main staff member (one of the owner's sons) had the door open for me. I was very impressed with the friendly and courteous service. The ambience of Chocolate Secrets is fancy and casual at the same time. A place of delicious treats and comfort for all guests to gather and relax. I will be coming here again to enjoy more of their menu. I love their Earl Grey Chocolate. During a game of chess, I enjoyed an affogato (espresso shot over tiramisu ice-cream - but these can be with any type of ice-cream). I noticed they have a schedule of weekly events. Their wine wall caught my eye as well. Great variety with a romantic, European café ambience.

Yelp
If I lived in Texas, this would definitely be a weekend spot for me, Dana Harper has the voice of an angel & Rachel Francis is by far one of the best guitarist I've ever heard, they go hand in hand making music together... They sing on Weds-Sat from 7:30-11pm Service here is great, they revisit your table many times I do feel that the menu definitely needs to be updated, there should definitely be many more options to choose from than what it looks like right now. But we had a great time and I'd definitely come back.

Yelp
First and foremost the chocolates are very good. The Bananas Foster and Spoil Me ganache chocolates were tasty and pretty. The main issue is the pricing and general ambiance. Whether you buy 2 or 50 chocolates you are paying more than three dollars each. The owner/manager is also aloof and generally dismissive whenever she is behind the counter working. I have been in multiple times and the owner seems to have a perpetual bad mood. The other workers are very helpful and kind however. Just a place I go to yearly for Valentines or Christmas presents. Definitely give them a try the ambiance is no reason not to visit!

Yelp
Great place for light food, fantastic sweets and fabulous live music to enjoy the night. Tonight enjoying the incomparable Pat Peterson on Piano but she's a one woman band. Don't be fooled when you walk in and she's all of that! Well worth every minute you spend here. The food is light but a great snack to pass the time away. I had a Turkey Panini and salad, my wife had Margarita Panini and a salad. Both were outstanding! I'm now waiting on my Carmel Pound Cake with ice cream, I already know is going to be all of that and more! Many couples here having a good time relaxing and unwilling. Very relaxing! Different entertainment genre on different night but all are great. Pat interacts with the crowd and has a great time doing so. Entertainment at its finest!!!
