Tony had a meal prepared by Meriko Gubeladze, a star chef at Tbilisi’s Black Lion Restaurant. They had spinach with walnuts and wild capers; pickled carrots; cheese curds with roasted hazelnuts and mint; roasted eggplant seasoned with coriander; kharcho, a stewed chicken cooked slow with ajika chili sauce, onions, marigold flower powder, and blue fenugreek, and cooked & served in a pumpkin.

Noodles with chicken was superb! The chicken slices were so tender but the sauce was a little too much for my liking. The Tom yum soup with shrimp was also fantastic, but doesn’t have much shrimps in it.

Worst restaurant ever! Service is terrible and very slow. Prices are too high. Portions are too small. we olderes salmon with rice and veggetables and they brought olly salmon with some very strange veggies.. had no rice apparently.

Visited the restaurant in June. The restaurant itself is very nice, even though there is no river near it despite the name:)) Nice place to enjoy evening with family. There was live music in the evening (a bit too loud). Dishes were good and we didn't wait very long for them to prepare but waiters were a bit confused of their job. We also wanted to order the dessert as well but the waiter told us that for preparing pancakes they would need at least 40 min. So we just drank the coffee. But the management itself (or whoever is managing their social networks and has communication with potential guests) is rude, disrespectful, arrogant, unprofessional and has nothing to do with the good, customer oriented service!!!

Nice place, great outdoor seating but.. small portions, service below average, staff is friendly and polite but it seems they are unexperienced, from nonalcoholoc beverages they had only coke. When we ordered the steak they didn't ask how we wanted it done. they told us they serve completely cleaned shrimps, but they were not, rolls came without chopsticks, the waiter brought bottle of water without glass, It looks like demo version of restaurant. Hope they will fix it.

Delicious food, relaxing environment. Great place to get away from noisy and polluted Tbilisi.

This is the worst restaurant in I have ever been. They serve uncooked food which is poisoning. Prices are high. Worst stake ever they cook on the stove not on the grill. Just to get the water it took them 45 minutes, I'm not talking about other dishes we ordered. They also billed us for food that was ordered by us two hours ago and it never showed up. Manager that represents the restaurant is not professional, she's dressed like a villiger. I have no words for this place.

A perfect place off beaten routes. A converted villa of a famous Georgian celebrity in a postcard-perfect mountain district of the capital city. Roughly 30 minutes drive from the city center (approx. 20 kilometers). 1100 meters above sea level (600 meters above than city's average). Food and service is one of the best. Local and fusion dishes on the menu. Live vocal jazz in the evening. Quiet forest surroundings, far away from the city traffic, luxuriously cool and crisp air even on the hottest summer days and beautiful snowy hills in winter

Food is pretty good, nothing blows you away but good. Service is some of the worst in Tbilisi however, takes 10 mins to get your menu, 10 more to get a glass of water and on and on. Prepare for a 2 to 3 hour lunch.
