"The “chef’s special” section of the menu at this wee sleeper hit on the Aurora border offers more than enough to satiate a Chinese chowhound in one sitting: Hong Kong–style classics like beef chow fun with XO sauce, stir-fried flowering cabbage with garlic, clams in black bean sauce, and fried rice with dried scallop and egg white show the kitchen’s deft and delicate touch. That said, some of its greatest hits are off-menu: Ask for the crunchy, silky salt-and-pepper tofu, call ahead to order crab and lobster, and don’t overlook the pastry case, where crepe cakes in flavors like durian and chestnut await." - Ruth Tobias, Eater Staff

Had a great early dinner here, and yes the beef chow fun hits! Started with hot sour soup and wonton soup which were both great. Also ordered sesame chicken and Mongolian beef. Sesame chicken was good, nice and crispy with a great sticky sauce. Mongolian beef was very salty and I'll maybe try to stir fry the left overs with some plain rice to balance it out. Wendy was our server and was fantastic. We were stuffed so we didn't try dessert this time around but they looked fabulous. Very small seating area but we came at a great time so had no problem getting seats. When we left though every table was full. We'll definitely be back again

Love this place! If you’re looking for a hole in the wall with some authentic Chinese/East Asian cuisine, you’ve come to the best place! My favorite go to has been shut down for years, and there hasn’t been a place like it til now! Something I will admit, the service is outstanding, but don’t fret the food is par to their service as well. When you go you definitely have to get the calamari, any clay pot dish, obviously the chow fun w/ xo sauce, the salted fish fried rice bc yes, their chili sauce, and any desert they have! We were so excited we dug right in (as seen in pictures), but that’s just how good it is! If you’re thinking of coming in, don’t think and just go in, you’ll have a great experience, and will want to go back! As I will definitely be back for more!

Google
What a feast! The Beef Hor Fun was easily one of the best we’ve ever had, silky noodles, tender beef, and that perfect smoky char. We wrapped up with Pandan and Coconut Boxed Cake, light and fragrant, and the Strawberry Crepe Cake, soft, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. The owner, Wendy, pours her heart into both the food and the service. The quote on the wall says it all about food and culture, "You can lay the world’s burden down, but never your chopsticks." : )

Google
Ok this place is legitimately good. If I lived a little closer I would probably get take out from here regularly. The dipping sauce that comes with the dumplings is a highlight. The beef chow fun is delicious and you should get it with the XO sauce. Everything we ordered, the salt and pepper shrimp, fried green beans, and boiled fish, all delicious. They make their desserts on site and are quite good. They are maybe half the sweetness you might find in an American bakery.

Google
absolutely positively the BEST Beef Chow Fun and all of the Rocky Mountain West!!! another absolutely must- try is the salted chicken rice... make sure that you may save room for dessert because it's incredible

Janet Dybek

Google
The best chow fun and stir fried green beans with minced pork. The Dungeness Crab is worth the 24 hr. Reservation/wait! The cakes are TDF!

Google
Food was good, I’ll start with that. However this place is so expensive for what you get! Got the beef chow fun with the spicy xo sauce and I swear they just gave me the regular because there was no spice whatsoever. Orange chicken was okay but can’t do the peels and wish they wouldn’t include that. Won tons possibly had a sliver of imitation crab meat and were sub-par. These 3 items were $45 which is steep.

Google
My family and I really enjoyed the food and service at Chopstix. We preordered Typhoon Crab 🦀. They get live crab for us. The dish was cooked perfectly. You can really taste the sweetness & freshness of the crab. The rest we ordered at the restaurant. Pandan & coconut cake was excellent, light and creamy 🎂

Yelp
Finally had a chance to try Chopstix Fusion tonight and have to echo the universal praise I see so often. Staff were incredible. We got there and I hadn't realized how small the place was. We got stuck waiting for a large group who took their time clearing out even though they were finished even before we arrived. Staff checked in with us constantly while we waited outside and were extremely kind and apologetic even though it wasn't their fault and we were fine to wait. I was extremely impressed by how attentive they were. Eventually they combined a bunch of outdoor tables inside for us. When the large group left right after we sat down, they even offered to help us switch tables. It's been a long time since I've had service this good at a restaurant. I'd happily go back anytime and am eager to try more things on the menu.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place forever, and I'm so glad we got to try it today! The hype on the Crazy Hungry Asians of Colorado Facebook page is real! The owner, the food, and the service were all on point! It is a smaller restaurant in which seats about 20 or so, but you can always take the food to go and I'm sure it tastes just as good! We ordered the beef chow fun (which had super velvety soft beef) + salted fish, chicken, and egg plant clay (this was good but I wish there was more fish/chicken in it). We ordered an iced Hong Kong milk tea as well, and it brought me back to the one trip we took to Hong Kong in 2018 - not too sweet and brewed from real tea leaves imported from HK. My husband and I were stuffed after finishing everything on the plate, and we wish we had room for her in-house made desserts! They look so good! Note - they don't have high chairs for kids due to the space but having them sit in the stroller or on your lap is worth the food you'll be devouring. We'll be back next time!

Yelp
tl;dr Superb cooking, great service and prices, Hong Kong dishes, winner. I made my take-out second visit last night and came away smiling as much as the first--and I forgot dessert both times! The menu features Americanized stuff like lo mein and General Tso, but these take a back seat, IMO, to the Hong Kong style items. My favorite so far was the Beef Chow Fun, but Yushen chicken and beef lo mein were on target for flavor, quality, and portion size. Wendy makes a sincere and significant effort to provide friendly, prompt service. I feel welcome the moment I step inside. Prices are several dollars below places I try in East Denver and beyond, but for food that is top-tier. Highly recommended. I can't find anything to complain about. Praise only. Five stars.

Yelp
Decided to celebrate Valentine's Day here for lunch with a good friend. The beef chow fun is one of the best and we added chicken with broccoli, salt and pepper tofu and salt and pepper shrimp. That shrimp - muah! Delicious. My friend would never have ordered those dishes and when he tried them he couldn't stop eating them. I love introducing people to these dishes. The service is always inviting and friendly. And the restaurant clean and bright.

Yelp
This hole in the wall restaurant offers a delightful dining experience! Quick and diligent service with some very comforting food options. The Mongolian beef is perfectly tender with a flavorful sauce, the fried rice is rich and aromatic, and the pandan cake is a fun and deliciously sweet way to end the meal. Portion size is huge so be mindful while ordering. Will be back to try other things on their menu

Kieu L.

Yelp
I have been ordering cake from here and it's always been amazing. Today I finally had a chance to sit down and eat at this restaurant. I ordered wonton soup and chicken feet. They were both delicious!! The service was great and fast. Highly recommend!

Alice Z.

Yelp
Heard a lot of great things about Wendy's cakes so I wanted to try her restaurant. Everything was delicious. We tried her beef and radish stew, beef chow fun and green beans. Best part is she had some cakes available ! Had a slice of her tiramisu cake and matcha strawberry. Her cakes are heavenly!

Sara C.

Yelp
I ordered the beef chow fun, my son the beef noodle soup, and my husband the drunken noodles with tofu. We also got a berry mousse and pumpkin spice crepe cake for dessert. Everything was delicious! I really loved both the taste of the beef chow fun and the texture of the noodles. I really loved the taste of the drunken noodles as well but didn't love the noodles as much, but I would 100% order that dish, and the tofu was amazing and plentiful! The service was great. It's a small place so not much seating but well worth visit!!

Stephqn B.

Yelp
Great newer little place. Food quite fresh and tasty... perfectly cooked. Enjoyed dining in. I'll be back!

Yelp
They're a new Chinese restaurant in town serving up authentic flavors at a great price and great portions! This spot is now a regular of mine and so far each dish hasn't disappointed me! They have your typical Asian American dishes, but it's their authentic specialty dishes that stands out! I'm a sucker for beef chow fun and they are now the best in all of Denver. It's so flavorful and the beef is tender. It tastes just like home. It's also my favorite dish to eat as leftovers! The Mongolian beef is one of the best I've had here and can compete with many of the top Chinese restaurants. It's savory and tender. The lunch portions are also a plus. I love it when you get lots of onions, and they did not skimp out. The salted fish fried rice is a hit! It has a lot of umami and I highly recommend it. It paired so well with their fried dishes. The fried pork ribs are a hit! Savory, salty and crispy, what else can you not love about it! I do wish they included more pieces for the price just because the meat to bone ratio is not that great, but I was hooked by it's flavor! Overall I'm glad they opened up and I will be a frequent customer!

Dee C.

Yelp
Wonderful service and food! Been here a couple of times for dine in and a few to-gos. Go for the authentic Chinese like beef chow fun, Singaporean noodles, chicken and salted fish fried rice, and beef flank with egg noodles! They were so good. My daughter's favorite is the shrimp lo-mein. She is very picky but can chow down a plate in one sitting. Also check out Wendy's delicious cakes and desserts. You as well as your stomach will leave here happy!

Yelp
This amazing restaurant is located in the corner of a shopping center. It's small, but very clean and modern. Plenty of parking space. My husband and I met my sister here for dinner per her recommendation. She knows I love Chinese cafe food. To start, we had the calamari. Perfectly crisp and seasoned in spicy salt. For entrees, we had beef chow fun, seafood pan fried noodles, garlic ribs, minced pork green beans, and Mongolian beef. Every dish was delicious, flavorful, and fresh. One favorite was the seafood noodles-- crisp egg noodles drenched in yummy sauce and imitation crab, squid, fish, and shrimp with fresh veggies. My other favorite was the garlic pork ribs-- came fresh out of the fryer, hot, juicy, and deliciously garlicky. The service was great as well. Wendy checked on us often, made sure our water glasses were filled, brought out our dishes quickly and cleared our plates with perfect timing.

Yelp
Got takeaway because I have been dying to try out Chopstix Fusion for a while. Opted for the sesame chicken and mapo tofu which came with a any add ons...so i went for the fried rice, scallion pancakes and pandan coconut cake. Loved the scallion pancakes, the sesame chicken was delicious, the mapo tofu was good but could have been better if there were more ground pork in it but i know i am a demanding customer so, do not judge it based on my greed...fried rice went really well with everything. Last but not least, the pandan coconut cake was amazing! Lightly sweetened, beautiful pandan aroma, the coconut balanced it all out. Yum! Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I recently returned to Chopstix Fusion, and once again, it was an incredible experience. Wendy, the owner, remembered me from my last visit, which really highlights how warm and personal the service is here. I had the string beans, eggplant claypot, and Hong Kong milk tea--everything was spot-on, just like before. The flavors are fresh, and the food is always top quality. But what really stood out this time was Wendy's taro ube box cake. She uses all-natural ingredients for her baking, and the cake was perfect--not overly sweet but still super satisfying. It's honestly one of the best desserts I've ever had. Chopstix Fusion is my go-to spot in Aurora for authentic food, amazing service, and now, incredible desserts. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out!

Yelp
heard from a friend a new place open. And since I have another 2 hours till next meeting I stop by the place at noon. The place was packed already since there is only a few tables. Lady was really friendly and it is located in the corner of the plaza. Is your old school Chinese restaurant vibe! Order the usual Beef Noodle soup! The flavor was great! It is regular HK noodle style and so much meat!! But wish there were more noodle. After a few bite I already finished the noodle but there still is a lot of meat left. One thing I think might work better is maybe they can put it in a bigger bow since the bow they serve was small so it looks better. Will definitely be back!!!

Erica V.

Yelp
We have been going to Chopstix Fusion since they opened and have never been disappointed! From the Thai iced tea, the king pao chicken, sesame chicken, beef lomein, it's all freshly made and delicious and hard not to eat everything on your plate. Tonight we went and were so delighted to see a full house. We were lucky to grab a table and ordered the seafood hot pot and beef chow fun. Once again, it was amazing! The seafood and tofu in the hot pot are so tasty, did not skimp on seafood, the veggies are fresh. The beef chow fun is amazing, the beef is tender and the fish is perfectly seasoned. We always ask Wendy to recommend a dish and she has the best recommendations. She is so kind and her family is just as nice. I have tried the desserts too, the taro crepe cake was so yummy, I'm still thinking about it! We will always go back and choose this place over others!

James M.

Yelp
Beef chow fun, salted fish, chicken and eggplant in a clay pot were all very tasty. Quick service. Small restaurant was very clean. Cakes and desserts looked wonderful.

Leon F.

Yelp
Wendy is amazing and so is the food! The food is full of flavor and even though it's a hole in the wall the customer service is outstanding

David-Emmy V.

Yelp
Great new restaurant. Driving through the area and decided to check this place out picked up some food and dessert for dinner. Cozy dining area and quiet atmosphere. Tried out the chicken lo mein, beef chow fun, scallion pancake, along with mango and durian cake. Prices were very reasonable, food was delicious, and the cakes hit the spot for something sweet at the end of the meal. Owner and staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. Highly recommend checking this spot out in Aurora, will definitely be returning in the near future.

Sarah H.

Yelp
VERY friendly service and some solid Americanized as well as traditional Chinese items on the menu. Probably in the top 3 MaPo Tofu dishes I've tried. Good prices, too. Looking forward to coming back and trying some treats!

Steve C.

Yelp
Service is friendly, the food is a must visit again again. The Chow Fun is excellent.

Therese S.

Yelp
There's a reason this place has close to a perfect score. The food is one of the best and freshest in the Denver metro for Chinese food. It's located in a quaint shopping strip with easy parking near the Denver/Aurora border. It's cozy inside and perfect for a few diners. I mostly get takeout or Ubereats since I live nearby. I've tried the following dishes - all with rave reviews: Yushen Beef - I didn't know what Yushen was and I'm glad I finally tried it. The sauce is delicious! The beef is so soft that it melts in your mouth tender and it's accompanied by a variety of fresh veggies like bell peppers, onions, snow peas, wood ear mushrooms, and zucchini. Garlic pork ribs: this was crispy, crunchy and delicious with rice or alone. Chicken dumplings: soooo good and fresh. I can tell they're handmade in house. If they aren't then I'd be shocked. The wrapper is super thin and soft, not chunky. The dipping sauce is also great. Orange chicken: not crazy sugary/heavy which is good. It's a good American Chinese food fix if you're craving this. I've also tried their dessert cakes which were delicious. Overall, solid execution on a variety of dishes. Super friendly service and reasonable prices. The menu looks like it has the important dishes so I'm sure those trying Chopstix Fusion will enjoy them for sure! Super happy to have this addition to the neighborhood. Try them and let's see what you think. They also have lunch deals it seems. Great place! Support local!

Ray K.

Yelp
Great place to get chow fun and Hong Kong style fried rice. Very authentic taste and just the right amount of sauce used in each dish. I also tried the chicken and salty fish clay pot. The owners are so nice and helpful.

Adam Y.

Yelp
Since its opening a month or two ago, Chopstix Fusion has become a go to spot for many friends from Hong Kong, as it is one of the rare few places in town where you can get authentic Hong Kong style cuisine, not to mention the many delicious desserts handcrafted daily by the hostess. The Hong Kong style dishes are all under Chef's Special on the menu. For vegetarians, you can ask them to prepare vegetarian version of many of these dishes, so you will not miss out. Here are their Vegetarian Chow Fun, Salted Fish Chicken and Eggplant in Clay Pot, Beef Flank and Radish in Clay Pot, Vegetable and Tofu in Clay Pot, Stir Fried String Beans with Garlic, Coconut Jelly and Passion Fruit Cake.

Yelp
My friend and I wanted to go out to dine this weekend and decided to check out this new, family-owned eatery. We found out that it's been open for about 5 months. It is located in a strip mall and somewhat of a hidden gem situated in the back corner. Right off the bat, I found a lot to like about the restaurant. To start off with, I liked the creativity of the name and it's spelling. Whoever came up with that gets a thumbs up from me. The layout and design of the restaurant was really nice. I found it to be really chic and cutesy at the same time. There were charming little touches to it that drew my attention. Our server Wendy, who was also the owner, was a talkative and engaging person. She recommended some of her most popular dishes. We ended up getting the Beef Chow Fun, Beef Flank and Radish, and the Salted Fish Chicken and Eggplants entrees. As the dishes came out, my friend and I were very impressed with the attractive presentation. In addition, as we ate, we were quite happy with the freshness of the ingredients, the quality of the cooking, and the flavor and tenderness of each entree. We hung out at the restaurant for a good hour or so, and took our time chatting as we drank Hong Kong milk tea, along with eating from our savory selections. Overall, this was a pleasant and scrumptious dining experience. I would 100% recommend coming here if you crave some authentic, quality, Asian cuisine. Also, if you're not sure about what to get, just ask the staff. They will gladly give you a great recommendation!

Shauna S.

Yelp
Good food, the service was great, and a cozy store front. Excited to have another great Asian option!!

Gordon S.

Yelp
Go in personthe first time so that you can get a sense of the Hong Kong specialties on the menu and so that you can chat with the owner about your preferences and the daily/off-menu specials. Tiny dining room but worth visiting!

Alan H.

Yelp
The chow fun and Singapore noodles are amazing here! The cakes are also wonderful and tasty! Wendy and crew are always on top of service here!

Bob B.

Yelp
Hidden gem! it's in the corner of the plaza at Dayton and Parker. The food was excellent quality and quanity! General Tao was not overly spicy. My wife got the sesame chicken no spice (the older white person spice). Service was good and friendly. Well worth the price 2 dinners with 2 egg rolls with tax and tip $40. We will be back!

Nella U.

Yelp
What a gem to find this establishment, we ordered the eggrolls and fried dumplings. We also ordered chicken, lo mein and orange chicken and beef with vegetables. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic and we will be back.

Jill G.

Yelp
First time here and ordered the garlic spare ribs, chow mein, sesame chicken and general Tsao's chicken. Don't let the fusion in the name trick you. 'Cause it was pretty delicious and with pretty authentic flavors. The service was great and the staff was super nice. Had a slice of their chocolate dobash cake, which was so amazing we order a whole cake for pick up next week. We wiill definitely be back.

Allen B.

Yelp
What a sweet little place. The owner was personable and charming. The service was exceptional without being cloying. And the food was topnotch, authentic Chinese instead of the typical American Chinese standards. Our favorite was the salted fish, chicken, and eggplant hotpot. We also had braised string beans with ground chicken instead of pork, which had a nice but not overbearing Szechuan pepper tingle, the off-menu a choy with garlic sauce, and the cucumber with black fungus appetizer. Everything was excellent.

Ben M.

Yelp
Don't let the location fool you! If you want the best authentic Chinese food in Colorado this is the place to go! I tried the eggplant hotpot, the pork and garlic green beans and the beef chow fun and let me tell you everything left me with literal goosebumps. When incredible service, friendly staff, insane and authentic comfort food come together you get Chopstix fusion. The is the BEST Chinese food on the this side of the Mississspi that will keep me coming back. Well done!

Pro I.

Yelp
great place and food i recommend it love it here. chow fun is my favorite. the drinks and cakes are good too

Chihchih Y.

Yelp
Food are really delicious and the flavor is just right. This is my first time try their regular menu and surprisingly good. I know they have good asian style deserts but didn't expect their regular meals are good too! Definitely will come back. Probably will try their lunch special next time!!

Jin J.

Yelp
Love this place! We had the cucumber and black fungus salad, string beans in xo sauce and beef chow fun. Portions were good, food was really tasty. We also had the ube cake for dessert. I loved it, but please note, it's not a super sweet dessert. A must try.

Veronica F.

Yelp
I ordered Yushen Chicken. It was the best version I have ever had. The veggies were abundant and cut to reveal fullest flavor. They were bright and super fresh. The sauce was complimentary and perfectly balanced. I also ordered two veggie egg rolls. Delicious, crisp and packed with veggies. The dipping sauce was perfect too. The place is clean and so cute and inviting. The owners are truly lovely people. I will be making this my go to for takeout. Also, I need to add that the portions are generous and the prices are so reasonable that I don't even know how they can do it !
