It was my first time here to celebrate a friend birthday. The vibe was great, music selection was good, however the battery of the tablet to choose song, died in the middle of our party 🤦‍♀️ We had a fruit platter which was refreshing. The place needs a little cleaning and more hygiene attention. All the song books were sticky and gross. Overall so much fun!

I loooove this place😚 My friends and i enjoyed karaoke after drinking cocktail and dancing with friends at the bar. They have both Karaoke and dancing booth has cocktail bar. (I especially loved cocktail named The Chorus😋) My friends loved the place as there were lots of pop songs. And I was surprised about how great their speakers were! It was my third time visiting a karaoke and i love here the most. Out of all the good parts, my favorite was that the dj had put on amazing songs during the wait time♥️🤎 We made beautiful memories here. I really appreciate that. Sometimes introverted people need a break in a way they aren't used to. It was probably the time. If anyone plan to visit this place, it'd be better to have a reservation on Fri/Sat night. You definitely won't regret it!

We had a reservation with a set plan in mind for what we were told what our costs would be for renting a karaoke room for 18 people for 3 hours. And the guy we got in person spent 20 minutes wasting our time trying to convince us to spend more for the open bar plan when some of us don't drink. We've been here before where we could order food and or drink and that would count towards the minimum but instead the guy insisted we can only order alcohol which is ridiculous when the website says something else differently. Overall we wouldn't go back if he's still there because we got stuck with a higher bill and the karaoke system isn't even that good because it's reliant on an outdated IPAD with 2 bar wifi signal connection and it kept kicking us out from the system.

Never come here. The biggest scam ever, charge an hourly fee and Per hour minimum per person. People are rude and force you to spend/order. Honestly the worst experience I have in NYC with any karaoke place.

DON’T GO THERE. Terrible place, terrible service. Charged us 20% gratuity for service AND for the 2 hours of singing. They spoiled my Birthday. NEVER came to take orders: I took orders from my friends and passed to the server. The server was rude, entered the room while my mother was singing screaming, “Beer”. Then pushed my presents and was doing something in the corner for a while. We were shocked. When I tried to talk to him, he was rude and defensive. I had to speak with the manager and they sent me a bottle of champagne although I tried to refuse not to make a big deal. They rushed us out after that. I’m very disappointed. My Birthday feels partially ruined. And this huge tip for NOTHING - really?

It's been awhile since I've done karaoke so it took time to adjust to the handheld device. Staff was also patient with our group beinlg late. They didn't have songs from this year but still a good selection. There is a drink minimum. We didn't order food. We had fun.

I didn’t get the itemized receipt until I signed and added additional tip to their bill including 20% gratuity. I complained. They promised to fix but never did. Be careful with what you are paying!!

Be aware that there's a $10 drink minimum per hour PER PERSON that I assume is not advertised on their website because the friend that booked our session was unaware of it, and on top of that they charge an autogratuity when really no service was provided except the forced drink orders (again a surprise). I understand times are tough but this just feels like robbery. It was kinda difficult to input songs into the controller and more than once we ran into the issue of a song listed in the binder not existing on the system when we tried inputting it, which is frustrating as it wastes precious time. The atmosphere is cool enough and we had fun because it's what you make of it, but it's not worth it in the slightest.

This place is amazing for private karaoke room. Estaban was so helpful and sweet! When another spot was too full, we came here and it was the best choice. New karaoke spot for me and my friends for sure! Thank you for accommodating is :)

BAD SERVICE. I ignored the reviews but wish I hadn't. Had a quite negative experience at chorus Karaoke. First of all, they had a bad system with only a book of all the song titles as a way of choosing the next song, rather than having artists/ albums. They informed us of a significant drink minimum quite late into the interaction, forcing us to get drinks on the spot, and worst, when we had 10 minutes left, they repeatedly tried to take our remote away, when that was the only way to skip to the next song. And they forced us to pay a gratuity on what was some of the worst service I have had in a while.

Damn, this karaoke place is half a club lol. We don't have that in the DMV. My friends and I really enjoyed this place with all their music, lights, and bright tables. Pretty clean and spacious. Audio volume could be better in the karaoke rooms.

Horrible service. Ruined our plans after coming all the way into Manhattan. I called more than 24 hours ahead of time to try to make a reservation for a group of people under 21, which the staff on the phone confirmed was okay. When my group arrived at 7:30, the staff at the front desk did not allow us in and said that no reservation was made, even though I had called the number on the website. They said that no one under 21 was allowed in after 7, even though we saw someone in another room celebrating someone's 18th birthday. Then, we were told no one under 21 was allowed in after 8, yet they refused to seat us at 7:30. Another friend that recommended the place was told no one under 21 was allowed in after 9. The staff has horrible communication and refused us service multiple times. There are no set rules here, and depending on who you're talking to, it's a gamble as to whether or not you'll be allowed in.

Kinda mean, fog machine everywhere makes it hard to breathe a bit, really pushy, bad drink minimum policies so you end up paying a lot more in the end, song choice is good, tablet and queued songs is good, probably won't go back unless I'm desperate

fun, very nice staff and a great time! Sometimes they have promos for 30 free min (minimum of 1 hour singing first). It's clean and they have disposable mic covers which is nice knowing that people get really into their karaoke.

Typically love the ambience and vibes at Chorus. Long time patron and supporter. Unfortunately has fallen victim to poor staffing. Been well over ten times with my wife over the course of two years. Had been well over a ten out of ten experience. Unfortunately has fallen victim to poor staffing. Most recently the service from Panm i(판미?) was far from spectacular and has led me to this review. Initially asked for the Korean system, was met with judging glances, and was forced to the front desk to ask for the Korean system again. Fine, acceptable given their Ktown roots, people are known to be overly confident. Two requests seems passable. What furthermore bothers me is the lack of service beyond the front desk. Already having felt judged at the door for a passion of mine and a culture in which I actively enjoy and partake in... I felt pushed away actively. I was forced to go to the front desk twice even for a drink refill. When I was told our time is up I was denied despite it being an hour and ten minutes from close. Additionally I was given a different staff member upon asking for anything beyond (to which he was absolutely lovely, 10/10 recommend). After an hour of singing we requested a switch to the "English" system, met with equally as judging glances, sighs. No changes occurred other than a microphone swap (which was incorrect and had to go to the front desk to request the correct mics). This was all handled by a different staff member, despite speaking to Panmi. Unfortunately this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth, exacerbated by the fact that I was asked "Was something wrong" upon signing the bill, with zero additional tip on top of their mandatory 20% gratuities. No scene caused, left it alone. Buyer beware, you will be judged at face value. If you are an avid fan of Korean culture or regular patron, you will be judged at face value and metered. This is apparently not a place for Kpop fans or Korean culture enjoyers as a whole despite being an active hotspot. Loved this location, unfortunately it has fallen to poor staffing.

Do not spend your money here, especially if you only want to stop by for 1 hour (since we had dinner reservations nearby). This place is overpriced and they do not manage the time correctly (paid a total of $183 for 1.5 hours). You pay a $30 gratuity for what!? The drinks are diluted and when you ask for help they take 10 minutes! The machine would not find any of our songs and after trying to figure it out, losing valuable time, they told us "oh sorry you're not supposed to press these buttons" -- we lost so much time! They could have mentioned that in the beginning. They also must start the clock ticking the second you're handing them your credit card for a room or we were cheated with the time. The server came by and my iPhone clock said we still had 10 minutes left to the hour, and he was saying it was already an hour. So we were forced to do 30 more minutes b/c he interrupted our song and we had to re-do it, and we also had not finished our drinks since it is a 2 drink minimum. How is a person supposed to consume two alcoholic drinks within an hour if they only want to sing for an hour? It's like you're forced to stay longer and spend. Their prices are way too high for what you get. $14 for a diluted vodka cranberry is not worth it. My friend had an extra shot on her drinks b/c they were so diluted that it made the price of her drinks $22 each (paying $22 for a drink at a karaoke bar is not worth it). There are plenty of other karaoke bars that are more price conscious and whom don't force you to consume alcohol at a rapid pace. Go elsewhere!

We came in a Friday night with a group of seven at midnight with no reservations, and thankfully only had to wait 20 min before a room opened up. The staff were nice and the space was large and clean, all in all a good atmosphere. The controllers are of course all Korean but with English labels on the key buttons. They had all the songs from the BTS Proof album but not more recent songs like Left and Right. :) (squad of Armys here haha). The pricing is more on the expensive side-- soju is $20/bottle, a fruit platter is $22, pizza is almost $20. The room price was $55/hr for 7 ppl but you have to order at least $10 or food or drink from the menu per person. We only stayed one hour and it came out to about $25 per person after tax and tip.

Ambiance/Service: This was my first time doing karaoke with friends and we all had a fun time. We stayed for an hour and it wasn't too expensive split between 6 people. Their song options were relatively limited but had a lot of songs we sought out. Service was quick and simple - you call the front desk from your room on a phone. The workers were sometimes a bit awkward though.

The place isn't very accommodating and they only gave us a hour to enjoy ourselves. I asked to pay more for another and order drinks for ourselves but instead of accommodating the customer they wouldn't even agree to it. Please don't come here if your looking a fun karaoke time this place is terrible!

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. I would give this a Zero star if I could. This was one of the worst experiences ever. I ignored all the bad reviews but please do not ignore it. The "manager" here (the one with long bangs) is an ASSHOLE. We were told the minimum spending was $10 per person + $50 but we ordered a bunch of drinks and food and were $4 away and ordered drinks 15minutes before. They cancelled our order just so we couldn't meet the minimum. They proceeded to "kicked us out" and ignored anything we said. No notice and HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. If it were't in KTOWN they would have 0 customers. DO NOT GO HERE, you will regret.

This was my first karaoke outing and we had a blast! We didn't have a reservation and we were able to be seated immediately in a room. There was a 2 drink minimum per person but we circumvented that by purchasing a handle of Tito's tequila for 200$ which our host threw in free chasers and food along with it. Our host was really kind and did a lot to help us feel welcome. The drinks were great, the food was standard bar food, nothing exceptional, but we weren't there for the foods. Navigating the karaoke machine was really difficult for us. The primary language was Korean (?) and wielding the large keyboard was quite cumbersome without intimate knowledge about the written language. The music was standard off key karaoke music and some of the lyrics were off, but the variety of songs and wide breadth of the library made up some. Overall, a great time with friends. Because I don't have a baseline, I assume most karaoke places are like this one. I would come back with a group of friends for the experience.

There was a mandatory purchase of two alcoholic beverages per person in our party. The charge was pricier than most. The machine and using the system was in Korean, having just come back from a year in Korea I was familiar with it, but for non-Koreans and also my friends who didn't know how to use the system, they could've at least asked whether we needed it to be explained. We got the yogurt and the lychee soju both were great, but they definitely diluted it towards the end of our time there which wasn't appreciated. Overall experience though they had plenty of song choices. Facilities were clean and rooms are spacious. I'm not sure if a mandatory alcoholic beverage just be purchased for all parties or they make it a rule on weekends.

Always a great time here!! Depending on what day you show up there is always a room available even if it's just for 1hour. The servers are very friendly and do their best to make you feel welcomed. The system is also updated pretty frequently. There is a drink minimum on certain days (weekend) but they will let you know beforehand and explain. The manager is always around greeting customers and does his best to accommodate, hoping you have a fun time and want to come back!! :)

I had fun here on a rainy Labor Day weekend. Google gives this place almost 5 stars. In reality it could use some help. Their song list is haphazardly updated since 2012. They haven't been trying to put things in new order for 5 years? They don't have the latest stuff and are behind about a year. The drinks are good. The popcorn/cheese ball snack is fun. The place itself is set up like a record studio meets disco meets inside of a jukebox which is amusing. Free balloons at the entrance which on this night featured guardians of the galaxy characters.

I was having a great time with my friends, when they rushed us out before our time is done because they said we needed us to leave for next reservation.

Chorus is on the ball, always. Bartenders Younghwa, Karen, and Yoon are dreams in reality - I've been coming here long enough that shots are the norm. The communal area is still where you should be singing with friends and friends-you-haven't-met-yet. They've got a fully stocked bar, so you really shouldn't get bored unless you have weird tastes. Credit accepted, like most spots in K-Town. Recommended.

We met with a group that was doing karaoke. They had a lot of fun; we had an entirely different experience. First, the drinks are way overpriced. This is not a swanky hotel bar or speakeasy, it's a dingy lounge. They have no business charging $19 for cheap bourbon. Second, the bartenders were downright rude. They took your order when they felt like it and confronted anyone who had the audacity to not give them a big tip for their terrible service. They shan't see me again.

Not even a one star, considering how much they rip you off. We ordered 2 bottles. That costed us more than $1000, including tip and tax. We were there less than 2 hours, in a tiny room. When I had same experience just across the street, it was less than $300. This is not a high end club, just a karaoke with small private rooms. $400 per bottle does not really make sense. The food they offered was not fresh, the fries were rough, and cheese sticks were salty as crazy. Never going back to this place, never recommending the place.

If I can give it no stars I would. EXTREMELY rude workers especially that manager. We ordered bottles and bunch of drinks and he tried to fight one of my friends. I paid for 2 hours and went to use the bathroom, manager proceeded to tell me this wasn't a "public bathroom" and when I corrected him he got defensive. A lot of attitude and very rude, I can see why people talk bad about the management here.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I traveled from DC to NY to celebrate my friend's birthday and I had been planning this activity for a month. I had never done an event at a karaoke bar before, so I did my best to research and communicate with the staff weeks before my trip to make sure that things would run as smoothly as possible. Despite my earnest attempts to be organized, NYC traffic just would not allow us to be great. However, I made every effort to be proactive and communicate in order to keep the staff informed of my intent to keep my reservation. The level of disrespect I received from the staff was unreal. They gave my room away before the 5-minute grace period ended and were totally disrespectful as I nearly begged for them to reconsider. Despite my earnest attempts to communicate and be proactive, the staff was completely rude and spoke to me like I was nothing. The owner/manager yelled at me and made a scene as if I was bothering him for wanting to give him my money. My friend's evening was ruined but in retrospect, I am very happy that I didn't have the "opportunity" to spend one dime of my money at that place. If you are looking for a professional establishment to host a fun event with your friends, please take my advice and NEVER patronize this pitiful excuse for a business.

Best karaoke in ktown!!! Excellent service also great choice in music to sing. Good drinks and also easy great to customers to be comfortable around. Ordered two drinks and the bartender/ manager gave us a round of shots on the house. Would come back with other friends to enjoy for a great time and service:)

After a yummy Korean dinner we decided to end our night with an hour of Karaoke. Originally we tried Gagopa, but they were completely booked until 2am. So we wondered off to Chorus, and Im so glad we did. Boy did we luck out, a big group had just cancelled their reservation so one of the HUGE private rooms was given to us (party of 3). The room was immaculate, it was radiantly bright, spacious, extremely comfortable, most importantly the microphone and entire sound systems was very good quality. The song selection is also great, extensive enough to make everyone happy, modern songs, oldies and even my European boy bands (Westlife, Boyzone woot woot :) The charge is $40/ hr and two drinks per person minimum. We did not really want to drink, so to avoid ordering 6 cocktails we were told we could order two bottles of soju, we only ended up drinking half of one. (We were more in a singing kinda mood, then drinking lol) Overall I can't say enough nice things about this place and the staff, they were so accommodating, super friendly & so pleasant to us. It's cordial service like this, that makes patrons want to continue coming back. After our hour was up, the nice gentleman gave us a friendly reminder and even offered us ten extra minutes so that we can decide if we wanted to stay longer. I totally recommend Chorus and will definitely come back.

This is a fun place to go for karaoke with a group of people. There's the option to get a room, but I would recommend rsvping at Duet 35 for that. The public karaoke area is a great area to enjoy drinks and the singing of those who have drank. There's a decent selection of songs from old to new at $3 per song ticket. Beers such as Sapporo are around $7, and there are snack options as well. For each song, there are 2 mics available, and a fun crowd to go along with all the entertainment.

Best karaoke place I've been in KTown. Happy to see they're still doing happy hour pricing. The place is clean and has a great song selection. Navigating the karaoke system is very easy too

I am not sure why I am not crazy about this place but I am simply not. The service has been a turn off for the most part, the prices can get spendy for both the karaoke and the drinks, and the elevator has been broken a few times to where I had to walk up manually to the place (3rd floor). The bright side is that this place is spacious, clean, and relatively well decorated. I also enjoy the fact their music selection is mildly updated so that its not completely dependent on the Ziller system like many of the other KTown karaoke joints. I have been lead up here for a couple of parties and both times it turned out to be a billing nightmare. The private rooms were nice, but with "extra drinks" and "time issues" the staff wasn't accommodating enough to attempt to sort things out. This is even with one of their speakers blowing out in the room, which they didn't seem to care to replace at the time. There are better places out there in KTown, this just isn't one of them

Came here on a Friday after work and got a room with coworkers. The good: Rooms are cute and prices are cheap The bad: The karaoke selection machine is super outdated and the guy who worked there didn't know how to input the #code which means we had to type the name of each song and instructions were in Korean. It took years to get our drinks Final verdict: You get what you pay for. Not returning.

Came here (more like stumbled) for a friend's impromptu birthday celebration. We did the open mic room since it was late on a Tuesday and there was only one other group there. Songs were $3 each. Had all the classic song choices on the wall for easy reference plus a pretty large binder full of the entire selections. Sake is extremely overpriced even by NYC standards. The staff refused to open multiple tabs for our group which seemed silly since it wasn't crowded. The bartender did let the birthday boy have another drink after last call. So kudos to that! Not the best karaoke bar in NYC but if you are with a good group and the right amount of buzzed you can still have a good time here.

Had the best birthday party here before covid... service was great and the rooms are so spacious the karaoke quality was bomb too made me sound so good! Hoping they open back up soon so I can party here this year too

What started with fireworks, ended with memories. My friends and I had an amazing time visiting Chorus Karaoke. We were able to have a safe and fun experience singing to some of our favorite songs. The service was excellent and they were very covid safe with private rooms and temperature checks, which made the whole experience even better. The only downside is realizing how bad of a singer you are. My friends and I will be back soon.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. Literally every kareoke allows you to extend sessions unless otherwise noted. If not, they will ask you how many hours you will sing beforehand. But for this place, they apparently do neither. When I was here with friends, we sang for an hour and were kicked out without warning because "other customers are waiting," which they never told us would happen. After confronting one of the managers about this, he sarcastically said he was "sorry", called the bouncer to kick us out, and just left, smirking the entire time. I don't have high standards for service - I just appreciate not getting kicked out without warning, and definitely not in such a disrespectful manner, and they can't even do that. When confronted again, the manager boasted how experienced he was in the kareoke industry and said this is how they did business for 20 years. Words can't explain how disrespectful he was. I never post yelp reviews but can't help but post this. Like another reviewer, he also almost got into a fight with my friend. I would give this place 0/5 if I could and would never come again.

worst place and service i've ever been. after an hour of karaoke, the workers came in and told us we have to leave because there are other customers waiting, which was understandable but why didn't they tell us beforehand that we were only getting an hour? then the "manager" came and just told us we have to leave and just smirked to every question we had. the manager was the rudest person i've ever met in my life and all he did was smile and said "we have to leave because we have other customers" and "i've been in this business for 20 years and this is how we do business" even though he's obviously less than 30 years old lol

I have been here a couple of times during late evenings with friends. This karaoke lounge is located one floor up from the players restaurant. One has to take the elevator to go upstairs. They have a really nice decor which gives a felling of steel walls. The main karaoke area is right by the bar and then they also have individual karaoke booths. I have met some really interesting people at the main karaoke lounge area. Surprisingly this place does get crowded on Sunday's evenings too so plan before hand. The staff at the bar was attentive and cool but felt they were disorganized when it came to Karaoke. FYI- Yelp check in gets you one free song ticket at the bar!!

This is the worst karaoke place I have ever been to. The bartenders act as though it is a burden to serve us. The singers are enjoyable, but the service isn't worth your time and money. Better to sing anywhere else! -Lisa Green, not Reina

I absolutely love this place. Went there last night, super COVID safe, the staff were so kind and there was a great selection of songs!

This is the place I love to go to in the city for karaoke. After a certain time, it becomes expensive but before 7PM, the price becomes half off, which is easy and cheap to split with your friends. The workers there are really accommodating. If you're not familiar with Korean karaoke places, the remotes are a little hard to use, but if you're korean, this is a good place to go to

Meh karaoke. I have been to better places. I was at the common area where a big group can sing together. However, the settings were just normal and the sound were ok. The service sucked though. They only allowed to charge drinks into one single card in a big group, which is super lame. You would rather charge into multiple cards as the night goes on whole charge goes into one card and people forget who ordered what. Ridiculously terrible decision!

Decent song selection with the right level of background vocals. Service was the downfall. Grumpy looking dude with a stick up his butt. KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE. If you work in a service industry, do it justice and gripe to friends and family after. It's the straw you drew for now.

You couldn't pay me to return to Chorus. I went last night with a friend and somehow my bill came up to $200. My friend deliberately ordered $7 beer because he knew I was paying and he was trying to be considerate. I ordered 4 cocktails, at most, and sang 3 songs. I was stunned when I saw my bill for $200 but was too inebriated and tired to say anything about it (which they prob count on). Super shady! Looking at all their one-star, negative reviews, it appears that scamming customers is a regular occurrence! Shameful. There are many better karaoke places that are less shady, more reasonable, not to mention friendlier. For $200 I had a mediocre time with mediocre service, mediocre drinks at a mediocre venue. The girls behind the bar act resentful if you seem to be enjoying yourself, lots of attitudes, maybe that's why they screwed with my bill. Also, the drinks are so weak, one wonders if there's alcohol in it. That's what they do in shady establishments. Horrible place. Avoid! I telephoned Chorus the following day. I was irked that I was blatantly cheated and couldn't let it go. I spoke to the manager around 8pm, the time I was told he'd be in when I had called earlier. The manager sounded like a smug jerk who talked over me. He accused me of drinking 8 cocktails! It's impossible for me to drink 8 cocktails at 110lbs. (Though they do make watery concoctions...) I have Never drank over 4 cocktails in one night in my life. He then said he could see from the surveillance that my friend and I arrived at a certain time and left at a certain time insinuating that that justified my bill. True, we had been there about 4hours, but no where are there signs, nor were we told by the employees that we'd be charged for our mere presence. I actually consulted with my lawyer about this matter. My lawyer advised me it's not worth pursuing, which indeed, it is not. I will be reporting Chorus to the BBB, and advising friends to stay away. In the end, such businesses who operate in such shady ways and are NOT customer-oriented are the cause of their own demise. I'll be happy to see Chorus close down for good.

Pretty cool karaoke place in known. Service is ok. The waiter kept telling us there was a min of one drink per person even after we said it was ok. The night we went there was balloons decorating the main entrance, which made it looks pretty cool. Waiting for the elevator is always a pain the buildings in ktown. Room size and sound are ok.

Ended up here after our beloved Japas 27 told us that they were all booked up for the next few hours (and that place is awesome & all you can drink!). So as a second choice, it ended being ehh. We got a private room but had to move right away because the microphone was messed up. In the new room, we had fun singing but a lot of our songs kept getting skipped and songs we didn't pick would come on! I know we were a bit drunk and the remote is more complicated than it needs to be but this happened all night. The place has a cool futuristic, clubby vibe. There were 5 of us and we were told it would be $45 for 1 hour (the rates are on their website depending on number of people). We were also told there was a 2 drink minimum per person. The yogurt soju was yummy so that was a big hit. I thought the song selection was definitely lacking. Not terrible, but I've seen better. There are definitely better karaoke places than this. Drunk karaoke is always fun but when you're dishing out $$ you want to at least hear your songs!

I came here on a Friday night with a group of 8 people. When we came in, the staff requested that we do a 2 drink minimum per person for a private room. We were like that is too much and he made it a 1 drink minimum. We got the beer and soju package which included 8 beers, 2 bottles of soju, a food platter, and an hour of karaoke for $150. We got an additional hour, it was $60. In total, we spent like $29 (including tax and tip) a person. It's a bit pricer than other karaoke places and other places don't require a drink minimum. The karaoke system is a bit outdated and they don't have the latest songs. If Duet 35 wasn't already full, I would rather go there.

This place is a lie. When we got to the door, the waiter said if we bought a bottle for $200 the first hour of karaoke would be covered.... so we got a bottle and added 1 additional hour of karaoke for $65 for 2 hrs of karaoke. When we got the bill they charged us $200 for the bottle and $130 for 2 hours of karaoke. We confronted the waiter and all they said was sorry for the misunderstanding. Of course they charged the card we had on file for the additional $65 they ripped us off for. Beware of this place. This is bad business practice.

Popped by for a birthday party on a Thursday. $40 an hour for a medium room that'd fit about 8 comfortably with two bell tamborines and two microphones. A/C was good and strong. Music super loud and the controllers in Korean. So that was an interesting challenge. There are small rooms like this for rent, or you can do the songs in the main bar area. Drinks were not too expensive, at least with individual purchase. The packages were pretty expensive, probably worth it if you have a big party. They couldn't split the bill. Or even let me pay the shots separately. How hard could it be? It was difficult getting them to understand English, but at least we had one person who could speak Korean with the server. The song list was older, nothing too new. The elevator up was dingy and could carry five to the 3rd floor... it needs a refresh. Clean, at least.

My friends and I had the BEST time at Chorus Karaoke the other night! Service was great, and we had a blast singing all of our favorite songs. Felt very safe Covid-wise, got temperature taken when we first came in and our room was very clean. Will definitely bring my friends again and come again the next time I want to go to karaoke.

I would like to comment on the pricing structure. The private room was $45 per hour per person with a two drink (alcoholic) requirement. This make it more expensive than the other karaoke places. When we were done with the private room, I still had my beer to finish so we went into the bar. Once we sat done, we were told that there is yet another two drink minimum and $3 per song. This seems unreasonable. This is on top of the fact that the hostess was incredibly rude and mean. We left in a hurry after that to go somewhere else. I understand that they listed all of this before I booked the room with exception to the rudeness of the hostess.

Wanted to try a new karaoke spot with friends--really let down. When we arrived, the guy at the desk said the wait would be about 10 minutes (usually people in hospitality/restaurants/ events overestimate time so that the customer doesn't feel the wait time is as long) 15-20 minutes later we asked for an update of an available room, and were instructed to wait longer. The experience never got better from there... The rooms are nice and clean, but the staff was curt and rude and made us feel unwelcome. We wasted about 10-15 minutes more in the room trying to figure out the system to input songs, before someone helped us, or gave us an intro, as we were new patrons. When a staff member did help us, he seemed very annoyed that we asked for help. Very pushy. Made some snide side comments. The staff also kept interrupting our karaoke session, which broke up the flow of a "fun experience" we were trying to have regardless. When we did find a song we all started singing to, they interrupted that song as well lol! There is not a wide selection of music...not a lot of Disney, broadway, nor country...so, not great if you wanna do themed rounds. The song books are not easy to navigate (in order to quickly look up music)...we wasted time trying to sift through songbooks that weren't clear or organized. The sound system isn't that great--you can't really adjust the mic/echo/reverb. When it came time to pay, The guy tried to overcharge us by pushing a faded receipt on us that clearly was not the quoted price, and overcharged for drinks. He kept trying to leave to charge our card until i asked to take a better look at the receipt--he admitted the receipt was for another room, and that our price was actually less than the bill he tried to pawn off on us. The whole time, it was hard to "kick back, relax, and sing" because the whole experience was awkward. We maybe got to sing a total of five songs...in an hour. To be honest their pricing is more expensive then most karaoke places for what you get. The staff guy offered us a free hour on the house--i think he could sense that they kind of created a not so great first experience for us, but the whole time being there was so uncomfortable --we just wanted to pay our tabs and get out of there. We basically felt like Julia Roberts on Rodeo Drive in Pretty Woman lol. Oy. I would not recommend anyone take their chances going here. You're better off going across the street to Gagopa. I had fun at Gagopa the first time i went, the pricing is better, the variety of song selections is more plentiful, and the staff treat you a lot better
