If you’re tourist, be careful going there. They not only give smaller portions that many other local restaurants we been to, but also try to charge USD. And the price in dollar they gave is absolutely unrealistic, then if you try to ask JMD, they do conversion based on the USD price they giving. Not honest people, not good business, luckily so far the only place in town we been to that tried to rip off, so it doesn’t ruin the vibe of the lovely local community, we local this town.

Authentic Jamaican Meal where the Locals eat!! Everything was very tasty and delicious!! Took our meal Togo but they do have an amazing view from the deck in the back over looking a bread fruit tree!!

We had curry goat, curry shrimp, garlic lobster and salad with rice and peas and fried chicken it was absolutely amazing and Ashanti, our server and the owner's daughter was lovely and an excellent cook as well :). And the atmosphere was like being in a treehouse.

The food was Excellent and Very Delicious. Thank you Chris for making our dining experience memorable 🙏🏽❤️

Chris was so kind and welcoming and the food was really yummy. We went later at night and felt a little uncomfortable and took the food to go. I’d love to go back day time.

When staying at Goldeneye, many travelers will want an authentic Jamaican meal. Upon searching Google Maps, it appears that Chris's is about a 5min walk from the hotel. This is incorrect as of 2/8/2020. The location is very wrong, as Chris's is more like 1.5mi away. I would recommend tourists have the hotel arrange a car service and not walk. You may also know that Chris (the owner) was featured on Anthony Bourdain's "Parts Unknown" (S4e8) in 2014. Chris's establishment is the embodiment of Jamaican cuisine. High quality, no frills, all smiles. That being said, I very much recommend Chris's Cafe. Food is served family style, and our party (of 6) ordered plates of everything on the menu. Curried goat, curry shrimp, fried chicken, lobster, and a pineapple salad. It was all DELICIOUS. You can BYO alcohol, but Chris does serve a few varieties of beer. Pricing was fair, and came out to around USD$30/person - we all had more than our fill. Cash Only, US or Jamaican is accepted.

Great atmosphere, we were a group of 20. Great service. Great sunset. Will certainly go back. Call ahead if you are a large group.
