Where to Eat on Minneapolis’s Eat Street Corridor | Eater Twin Cities

"Christos first opened in 1988 — it’s been one of the Twin Cities’ premier destinations for Greek cuisine ever since. It’s hard to go wrong on this menu, but standout dishes include a flaky, dense spanakopita, a warm octopus dish baked in vinegar and red wine, and a beautifully marbled rack of lamb. Christos is a great option for a nice dinner out that’s approachable, not stuffy or overly formal." - Natalia Mendez

Excellent food and wonderful people! The falafel was divine. Their lamb is excellent, rice light and fluffy. Then the dessert was light and tasted exquisite.

Love this place!! I would say the service is a little slower but such wonderful staff! Just wouldn't go there if you are in a rush. Their food is absolutely fantastic and feels like you are in the movie My Big Fat Greek wedding. I had the gyro hash - yum!!

Service was fast, friendly, and accommodating. We had a large party and we ordered a variety of options - everything I tried was delicious. As a Greek person, it was really nice to enjoy these dishes away from home. I'm a sucker for dolmades, and they have a couple varieties. I think I got the dinner variation (with meat) which was really flavorful and hit the spot.

Finally got the chance to go after meaning to for a while and what a delight! We left feeling pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. Christos offers both casual options and fine Greek dishes, from gyro wraps and salads to traditional avgolemono soup and mousaka. After years of passing by, I was expecting it to be more on the fast casual side but once inside, was very happy to see depth and wide array of options on the menu. Service was fast. Staff were very friendly, welcoming, attentive, and helpful. The atmosphere is bright and charming. I actually found myself wishing the lighting were a bit dimmer and warmer in color as opposed to white, which I think would create a cozier ambience to suit the cuisine and overall experience sitting in Christos. The art and photography that adorns the walls drew our curiosity and created a memorable impression. I see Christos being an exceptional place to enjoy authentic Greek food, maybe a glass of wine, and enjoy the company of those gathered any evening of the week. I highly recommend the mousaka. Prices are very reasonable. I hope to back soon to try more of the menu.

Google
Absolutely delicious! My wife & I had lunch here. We ordered the falafel as an appetizer (only came with 3 falafel for $10.95 however) and the spicy pork sausage. Both of those were pretty good, but for two small brat-sized pork links it was $12.95 and for 3 falafel it was $10.95, so it ran a little expensive there. Our entrees were AWESOME though. I got the Greek Hash, which is gyro with a bunch of veggies (red & green peppers, onions, mushrooms) and potatoes. It was incredible. The gyro just falls apart in your mouth and it has so much flavor. My wife got the Mousaka and that was also incredible. That melted in your mouth too- so much flavor. Very very satisfied with our entrees. By that time we didn’t have room for dessert! But our server was a blessing and we loved the atmosphere. We will be back. 😊

Google
Finally tried this classic restaurant The oregano lemon pepper chicken wings tasted great but very small and only 6 of them The moussaka was good but lacked some salt The pork slouvaki was tasty - not as good as the real thing in Greece! The salad that comes with the entree was very basic - way too many red onions, no feta just lettuce The atmosphere is cute and relaxed and quiet-Will be going back to try more on their menu Service was okay- a little slow and now very attentive

Perfect! I came with a friend on a Thursday evening while visiting family in town. The service was wonderful: we were promptly greeted with warmth and a smile & were quickly taken to an available table. I server was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to provide recommendations when I couldn’t decide. Additionally, they offered daily specials include appetizers, soups, and salads, main dishes, and wine pairings. I will be back!

One of the best kept secrets in the Twin Cities. My husband and I have been coming here for many years so it was an easy choice for a special occasion (Valentine's Day). It was very busy for a Wednesday night, but we only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table. We always get the hummus appetizer. It's so fresh and delicious and they will bring you all the pita bread you can handle. We shared the Mixed Grill special which included an assortment of different meats, grilled veggies and rice pilaf. We rarely order dessert at a restaurant but can't pass it up here. Portions are perfect for 1-2 people and prices reflect that. Can't go wrong with cherry pie and I even tried the rice pudding tonight. Love the Golden raisins on top. Always a great experience here.

Yelp
If you want really great Greek food at a reasonable price there is no better place in town than Christos. We were just there on a Tuesday night which is a "half price bottle night" and shared a lovely bottle of wine at a great price. The Saganaki (flaming Greek cheese) came to the table with the usual flair and we finished every bite with the super fresh pita bread. I had the Spanikopita dinner with fresh vegetables and a cup of their very citrusy egg lemon soup. I just wish they were in my neighborhood - I would be there all the time! Oh, I forgot to mention they have their own offstreet parking which is especially nice in this busy neighborhood.

Yelp
Came here on a weekday with friends for dinner and we're seated right away. It was pretty quiet, which was nice for chatting. Our server, Bobbi, was so nice and attentive! I split the Iliad with a friend and it was more than enough food for two! I've had better moussaka, spanakopita, pita bread elsewhere, but overall the food was tasty! For dessert we split the galaktoboureko (forgot to take a picture!) and it was delicious! The flavor was reminiscent of French toast. Highly recommend this dessert!

Yelp
I last reviewed this restaurant a bit over a year ago. Christos always manages to be consistently excellent. Their hummus is everything you want it to be: creamy, tangy, flavorful, and addictive. When coupled with the included fluffy pita bread, this could easily suffice as a satisfying meal. My wife had the squash soup, which is always a favorite of hers, while I opted for the "Village" salad. This salad is never an afterthought; it always includes a variety of high quality veggies, and is included with most entrees. I wish other restaurants would go beyond the iceberg lettuce-shredded carrots-one cherry-tomato model. So that deserves extra credit just for quality and creativity. For entrees, we had a chicken kabob for my wife and a lamb kabob for me. Both come with rice pilaf. The lamb, as usual, was cooked perfectly, and had a great lamb flavor without the gaminess. My wife also enjoyed her chicken kabob. The rice pilaf was perfect. I still lament the closing of the Minnetonka location, which was both closer to where we live, and I enjoyed the vibe of that branch of the restaurant. However, the Minneapolis location is very pretty and the service is always consistently excellent. This restaurant deserves another five star rating.

Yelp
This is where my employer takes new hires for their welcome lunch. It's nice. The service is always friendly and efficient and the good solid. I don't love this style of food, so hard to judge. I almost always get a gyro and they're consistently solid. It's a fine place but again Greek is not my personal jam. That said a place does not last as long as this place has without being good.

Yelp
Best Greek food in Minneapolis and St Paul!! The hummus and gyros are amazing! Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Why did I not know that this place has the most authentic Greek food in the TC. Well comparing the street foods we ate in Greece I can say this place has the same level of quality and taste. Portion is big which makes the price pretty decent. Will come again for sure.

Yelp
Went here on a whim during a lunch break while in town for a meeting, lucky us! The lunch specials are numerous, and we enjoyed everything we tasted! The Greek salad dressing was perfect, I loved the mousakka and potatoes and the portion size was perfect! The Greek lemon chicken soup was some of the best we have ever had, and the fish baked in phyllo was both gorgeous and tasty. Our server kept our drinks filled and was very helpful. Of note: the many healthy live plants filing the windows, YAY!

Yelp
The owner, Gus, has been treating his customers like friends for years in this location that has been a regular destination for members of my family for decades. I love everything about this place and wish everyone could experience it! You are always greeted warmly with a smile and made to feel like a special guest from the moment you enter. The inside of the restaurant is warm and inviting, lots of natural light and a nice open dining room where no one feels crowded. The staff are a joy to interact with, and they will help you with any questions you have on the menu or make recommendations based on things you like or don't like. There are lots of vegetarian choices, and they also are willing to take special requests to the kitchen. The food is traditional Greek done right, and you just cannot go wrong - I especially enjoy the hummus, tzatziki, falafel, tabouli and all of their soups are fabulous! They have recently updated their wine menu and our table had a bottle we loved. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, the prices are very fair, and the staff are extraordinary so I think this is a gem all the way around!

Yelp
I just had the most wonderful meal with the most wonderful server. His name is Nick, he is brand NEW here too! Friends You've got to come here to Christos on 26th and Nicollet Ave. South in Minneapolis. Seriously, the atmosphere is awesome. It's right in the heart of the everything in good eateries on the Southside of Minneapolis. The food is wonderful. The staff is even more wonderful. I can't get enough of this place. It's my weekly, go to so do yourself a favor and get the Gyro sandwich if you're not feeling super hungry. It's delicious The lamb is tender, perfectly seasoned and the greens are crisp. Just can't stop saying enough good things about this place and the atmosphere???Forget about it!!!! It's wonderful! 20 stars for this one!! - Lydia Moses (foodie) and lover of gr8 service and good prices.

Yelp
Old school Greek restaurant. Stopped by here with my biweekly dinner and board games crew to check out some Mediterranean fare. It's off Eat Street, so parking can be fun to find, but the area is very walkable. Inside is Hellenic art and artifacts from across the pond. You know what to expect with the meal. I went for the Avgolemono - a lemon egg soup. It is quite citrusy. The soup was a little light in consistency for my preference. We tasted the egg, but it was quite overpowered. Something different to try. The Mousaka was interesting . Fried eggplant with a nice tomato sauce on top. The cheese choice was unexpected, I guess American or maybe a young Cheddar? Wasn't a big fan, it kinda clashed with the vibe. I was trying to be healthy and ordered a side of veggies. They were steamed well and not overly cooked. Would come here again to try other things on the menu.

Yelp
We were there to celebrate my oldest greek friend's birthday. The service was great and the food superb. The appetizer plate was almost a meal in itself. We started with saganaki. Our entrees were vegetarian souvlaki, lamb pieces with veggies, and shrimp skewers on rice. All were very good. My wife kept saying we need to come back again soon. I agree, soon indeed. Birthday boy was treated to baklava.

Yelp
Staff Christmas Party and Christos was fantastic. Table for 15 midweek with a full menu of Greek delicacies made for a very special time for our team. Staff is great and they were helpful to people who had less experience with the menu options. We had flaming appetizer, octopus and many entrees with their incredible pita (best in state) we shared the variety of options the team sampled and each dish was delicious.

Yelp
Anja was a great waitress. She had a smile on her face, and she was really polite. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was so nice. The people next to us were so polite, and the mother had a birthday. So if they see this. Happy birthday. I highly recommend this place. I am so tired now and in a food comatose. Thank you so much, and I am so happy we had baklava, too. It was really a great dessert and fantastic food and Anja, you were amazing and I highly ask to sit in her area. Very nice, and beautiful young lady.

Yelp
Been coming here for years; food is good but sadly the service was very slow, server stood by the register with our bill in hand just visiting with staff. Other people came and went.... not happy with the service. Sad!!

Yelp
Over the years, we have met friends and taken family for meals at the best Greek restaurant in the upper midwest. All of the Greek classics are available and the menu includes a number of combination meals for that person who wants to focus on variety. Recently, however, I have been enjoying ordering from the menu of the day on our Sunday visits. The last two times, I have enjoyed a sea bass dish along with either the table salad or my favorite soup, tomato with feta cheese. The service standards are high and the restaurant seems to have bounced back well from the Covid pandemic, when many of us were ordering takeout-out dishes. The owners are very involved in the overall hospitality we feel after decades.

Yelp
Tried while visiting MSP and it was a highlight! Falafel was so fresh - not dry at all. Gazpacho was refreshing on a hot day and pita also tasted very fresh. Would not miss next time I'm in town! Suggest making a reservation for lunch, it was quite busy.
google avatar

Diane B.

Yelp
Wow! This is must "go-to" restaurant and I don't say that often. This is most certainly in my top five restaurants. First, you need to have the saganake. It's flaming cheese and it's delicious! They light it in fire tableside. It's hot, creamy and delicious. Add a Chardonnay and it's an event. We ordered the Iliad. It's a sampler platter and enough food for 3. The sausage is amazing. The spanokopita is so good. The gyro and tzatziki sauce was delish. Overall the meal was memorable. The cherry pie with ricotta cheese was the perfect end to the evening. We didn't find anything that we didn't love. We will be back. Please enjoy!

Yelp
The next stop on the culinary tour through the Twin Cities had us grabbing Greek. Now, it's been a minute (cough couple of decades) since I was in Greece, but I have fond memories of the food. I was excited to see familiar favorites that included vegetarian options. Many of the items on the dinner menu come with choice of soup or salad and choice of a side. Yes, please! There's also a pretty good wine list that includes some Greek options (not so easy to come by). I decided to go for a Greek wine that I'd never heard of. Unfortunately, I think it was corked. Luckily, our server was quick to offer a replacement. (Note: they have a very nice rosé.) I ordered the vegetarian moussaka with a cup of tomato basil soup and broccoli on the side. The soup was quite tasty: the acidity level was good, the feta added nice saltiness, and the basil came through loud and clear. The portion size for the main was exactly right (I had ordered off their "the lighter side" menu). The broccoli had been cooked from fresh and was just under al dente. The moussaka wasn't quite what I was expecting. While I did get the marriage of tomato and cinnamon that those who enjoy Greek food will know and love, and the sautéed vegetables had melded together nicely, the Béchamel sauce had a slightly tasty texture, and the dish was served a bit cooler than I would have liked. I skipped dessert, but my friend (who had ordered the classic moussaka) wound up getting the phyllo-nutmeg-custard dessert. It smelled great! He said it was good, with subtle nutmeg flavor. The service was enjoyable and the portions sizes are just right. It's a bit loud, but I can tell that it would be a fantastic place for groups: I could see meeting friends here for wine and orektika.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely loved the tomato basil soup with feta! Our server was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and felt like a little slice of Greece here in the twin cities! Can't wait to go back and try more things on their menu!

Yelp
The food was very enjoyable. I did feel things lacked salt but outside of that it was delicious. The restaurant was on such a cute street and provided some parking.

Yelp
Years ago we used to visit Christos every month when we lived in Minneapolis. Gus, the owner, knew us by name and my son especially loved coming here. But life happens, people move and children grow up. We were attended an exhibit at MIA and I thought of Christos. Close by and full of memories. My friend had never been here and hasn't tried much Greek food so it was a fun choice. Every meal has to begin with Saganaki (melted kasseri cheese flamed tableside with brandy, doused with lemon juice) - excellent cheese and fun show. Then we each had a soup: Acorn Squash with Apple and Tomato-Basil with Feta. Both were very good. The squash could have been improved with a few small apple pieces as it was pureed and subtlety flavored. For entrees the Putanesca pasta special and Koupepia (grape leaves stuffed with ground beef, lamb, rice and herbs). Both were very good and just the right portion size. For dessert the choice is always Galatopoureko (nutmeg custard baked in phyllo pastry). Excellent. The portion size has greatly decreased since I last visited so order one per person. Service was good but a little slow. I really missed Christos and especially Gus. I wish we could have seen him again.
google avatar

Yelp
Always get the lamb chops at Christos. It's a community staple having been a go to for years for those that know.
google avatar

King C.

Yelp
I tried the greek salad the meat was not good and very expensive. Service was good but nobody wants to pay for cold meat and dry tasting food...

J R.

Yelp
Been going there for 25+ years...always consistently GOOD! We live in AZ now and each time we are in Minneapolis we make an effort to go see Gus! Great food, friendly service and Gus stops by each table to greet you
google avatar

Shaun J.

Yelp
I'm so impressed! We went here for a Saturday lunch. The prices were reasonable for Eat Street. The food is great and fun. We got the cherry "pie" stuffed in phyllo. I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Carrie B.

Yelp
An appealing traditional Greek exterior leads into a good sized restaurant with a welcome at the front door. The service is experienced and warm. The showstopper though is the beautifully prepared and seasoned fresh food. We enjoyed splitting a dinner order of moussaka ... that tasted like a recipe mastered over generations. We are just passing through otherwise this would be on our "go to" list.
google avatar

Mitch A.

Yelp
This place needs no introduction from a lowly yelper such as myself. It's hands down the best greek food in Minneapolis, and it has the awards to prove it. It's an institution that retains a friendly neighborhood restaurant vibe. Everything we had was delicious. My hunch is that it's the kind of place where it's hard to go wrong, but the staff was also supremely friendly and able to make some excellent recommendations. We couldn't decide and settled on the Iliad platter and 3 desserts . In my opinion a must try in Minneapolis.

Margaret T.

Yelp
I lived in Minneapolis for a year and was excited to come back and visit, and finally make it to Christos. I was looking forward to Christos, but I witnessed an exchange between a manager and an employee that ruined my experience. The employee was my server and I had received wonderful service from him - he was kind and attentive and clearly good at his job. Unfortunately I overheard the manager berating the employee. She was clearly trying to assert power over the server and it was really disappointing and disturbing to witness. This experience completely ruined my dining experience and made me wish I wasn't supporting a restaurant that treats their staff like shit. I asked for the manager's name and learned it was Carol. I will not be coming back to Christos while management is so vile to their employees who are likely not getting paid all that well to begin with. Super disappointing.
google avatar

Mary N.

Yelp
After visiting Greece in Fall, this was the best Greek food we've had in Minneapolis. Awesome!
google avatar

Patricia O.

Yelp
Great food, bit pricey and not very accommodating. Rigid service, not very friendly. Currently seeking other alternatives.

Suzanne P.

Yelp
Christo's is a gem. I took a large group there last night and they were most gracious despite the challenges of taking multiple orders, bringing multiple checks etc. I like taking groups there because there's something for everyone on the menu, including good vegetarian options. It's also a great environment, makes you feel like you're visiting Greece. One of the truly iconic Minneapolis restaurants!
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped here on the way to the fivel goes west show and it was great the service was top knotch. I the sea food was great and the place lives upto its name and reputation.

Jingping W.

Yelp
Good food, good service, good vibe! The fillet of Halibut is the best, the Greek sampler is also good. Baklava and cherry pie are both very crisp and sweet.

Yelp
Everything was so on point, that I would probably consider this place a top go-to within the entire Twin Cities, regardless of cuisine types! First of all, this place is extremely affordable and that is a huge plus in my book, because it allows me to have no worries when deciding on when to go back. Second, I loved the idea of having appetizer versions of entrées, because my partner and I definitely tried many different types of dishes and was able to enhance our experience that way while not overstuffing our stomachs. Third, the food was incredible on every level! I was craving the vegetarian mousaka, and it was so tasty that even now, 9 hours later, I still am thinking about it. We ordered a few classic Greek plates, like souvlaki, sanagaki, dolmathes, etc., and they have all turned out very well. The pork was tender; the grape leaves were flavorful; the pita bread was warm and soft; the spinach was fresh. A special shoutout for the galatopoureko and the baklava, too! Both desserts were out of this world. If I have to nitpick, then the only thing I will say is that for the price, the portion is just slightly small. But I also understand with inflation nowadays, some restaurants have chosen to reduce sizes while maintaining the same prices, which I appreciate as well. If that's the case with Christos, then all good! Overall I strongly recommend this place as a spot that you take your friend to when you need to casually catch up without doing fancy stuff, or that you bring your friend from out of town to in order to get a good feel of food in the Twin Cities!

Anita M.

Yelp
We have been going to Christos for many, many years. Having recently returned from a trip to Greece, we thought it would be fun to eat familiar food. What a disappointment! The only thing good about our experience was the eggplant appetizer. It all went down hill after that. We ordered a bottle of wine which came long after our saleads were served and the main dishes came before we were done with our salads. There we were with a table full of food that was mediocre at best, including their signature Moussaka, which had been obviously sitting all day. Then, it was over. The restaurant cleared and we were finishing our meals surrounded by people cleaning around us. The owner was walking around with his coat on! The server cam and asked if we wanted dessert before we had finished our main. When he came back to ask again, I ordered the cherry pie, which he brought in a to go container!!! The restauant hadn't even closed! (Which, sadly, is 9pm on a Friday night). I was shocked and when I inquired about that he said he "assumed" we wanted it to go and he would be happy to "re-plate" it for us. I declined and told him I didnt want the dessert- not something that can be re-heat at home. He happily informed me he took it off the bill "for me". When he brought the bills he had confused the division so we had to wait for him to re- do them. But that gave us a minute to quickly finish our bottle of wine, or we would have been out that, too. We were met by the apolgetic manager we said, "Please come back and see us again". To which I told him, "It begs the question, why would we do that?" BTW, the owner knew all this havoc was happening- he walked right past us and right out the door without a word. Sad.

Yelp
The deserts alone get five stars. Fresh is an over used word in food reviews. Once you sink your teeth into the baklava layers of flaky crust as it crumbles in your mouth you know that instant it's - Fresh. Its not too sweet with a hint of cinnamon. Best Greek baklava I've had. However it's the cherry pie that will blow your mind. It's cherries with sweet cream cheese wrap in crispy phyllo dough sitting on a sugar reduction sauce. Mama Mia!! The following were good - calamari, kebabs, pork chops, and falafel. Special mention to the spanakopita and the Greek salad. And last, who doesn't like saganaki (flaming cheese) pair it with bread- excellent!!

Yelp
In our continuing efforts to help our favorite restaurants, we ordered pickup dinner from Christos. Having grown up in Detroit - and spending more than a bit of our misspent youth in Greektown - the cuisine is a favorite for us. In typical style I managed to bungle the pickup, so let me share what I learned. Despite the super parking lot they have (a rarity on Eat Street), they truly want you to pickup curbside. It's not well-marked and Nicollet Ave can be pretty busy, but just do what the nice people at Christos ask you to do. Yes, I felt stupid, but I got over myself once I dove into dinner. Because we wanted to EATALLTHETHINGS, we opted for a flurry of appetizers. The portions were shareable and the quality was stellar! We ordered the Koupepia Appetizer (Dolmathes with meat), Mousaka Appetizer, Spanakopita Appetizer, Dolmathes Appetizer and Oregano Wings. Nearly everything was served with a fresh lemon wedge, which lends a fresh and light touch. Though I loved everything, that Spanakopita was the star for me; light and rich at the same time. I think people would eat more spinach if they tried this dish! My mouth is watering as I type this; no lie! Check out my photos for an idea of how the food was presented. A tip of the hat for the layer of paper between the food and the container, as it makes recycling so much nicer! Next time? I will add a side of pita. You can see that we hardly needed more food, but it seemed weird to eat Greek food without it. See you again soon, Christos! ETA: We had leftover chicken wings. They warmed up crispy the next day at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes; yum!

Yelp
We were in town for business and had a craving for a good gyro. Looked at another place but could not find a place to park. Traveled to this restaurant and found it was a mom and pop sit down restaurant in a rough part of town. We were not sure what we were getting into based on the neighborhood, but we were pleasantly surprised! Staff was very friendly and took the time to describe the menu. Food was amazing! Cream of mushroom soup was authentic tasting and gyro was filled with meat. Tzatziki sauce was wonderful and even steak fries were good. This place is definitely a shining light in a dismal location.

Yelp
I love this place! Great food and great service. Portions are perfect and it's not expensive. Can't recommend enough!

Yelp
Old school institution, we sampled the chicken lemon soup, gyro salad, fried cheese, and mushroom appetizer. Food was standard fare loved the family feel and we had great service. It was a super busy Saturday night but we were still able to hear each other which was nice.

Heidi F.

Yelp
I hadn't been to Christos since the pandemic, and I'm so happy to say I've now eaten there twice recently, and it's STILL GREAT! Off-street parking? Check Big menu? Check Weekend specials? Check Amazing service? Check Delicious food at a reasonable price? Check and check And somehow this place isn't impossible to get into on a Saturday? That's great for last-minute me, but really, they should be packed. Check them out!!! It is now on my top 5 lists for date-night dining.

Yelp
Unbelievable!! We always came here when in town. Post Covid the customer service is abominable!! We came in and were greeted with a negative attitude and rudeness!!!! We were told they did not take reservations and then the hostess or owner said they would not sit us until they went through their "list" of reservation. Wow!! I'd give it a negative star if I could. Used to be a welcoming place but CLEARLY it is not!!

Yelp

Great food, great service, no wonder this restaurant has won award after award. I've never had a bad meal here.

Yelp
We all know that fast casual Greek places hit the spot. But when you're ready to bring your Greek game up a level, make your way to Christos for a vast menu with dishes not offered everywhere. I started with the Dolmathes - well I was going to, but Mai-Britt taught me about Koupepia so I changed to the warm version of this dish. IN. LOVE. The creamy pilaf base has soaked in the lemon sauce drizzled over the top. The rice in the Koupepia is more tender when served warm. The herbs in the meat give these such a depth of flavor that make me feel like Yia-Yia is in the kitchen making these just for me. Next up, my first try of avgolemono soup. I've seen it on menus but had felt timid of a lemon soup so I had never ordered. It came as a side to my entree so this was a no cost risk, all reward choice. Again, I'm sold. I polished off this tart soup as fast as I could cool off each spoonful. I finally cleared enough table space by now to dig into my entree of a traditional gyro. I loved that the meat was a touch thicker than most shaved meats I've been served. Not too moist, not dry. Tons of flavor. But I'm still gonna use every drop of the tzatziki provided as there are tons of herbs and good texture to the sauce too. My friend was equally as happy with her meal. At least that's what I gathered every time her eyes rolled back in her head after each bite. When my bill came, I literally exclaimed to my friend how stunned I was at the low price. I ate like a QUEEN at Christos for an outstanding value. I can't wait to come back and eat through the rest of the menu!

Yelp
The Greek food is excellent! We have never been disappointed. Every time we eat there the wait staff are very attentive.. The ambience is relaxing and friendly. Lots of pictures of Greece on the walls. Always greeted with a smile when we come and leave.

Yelp
Mediocre food (can't believe the '81st best restaurant in the US' - probably not even Minneapolis. Incredibly loud... and pricey. never again.

Yelp
Tubuli was dry and inedible. My entree was just ok. Very bland. The server couldn't answer basic questions for a recommendation. I ended up writing a letter ( something I've done maybe once in my life) The manager wrote me back an ego filled letter about how great his restaurant is. I disagree. I used to eat there years ago. It WAS good then. I would suggest he try other Greek food in the Twin cities and get some tips.
