Chuck E. Cheese Partners With TV Production Company for Reality Show | Eater Dallas

"An Irving-headquartered family-entertainment chain best known for pizza-catered kids' birthday parties and arcade games, the brand is partnering with production company Magical Elves to develop an arcade-centric competition show where contestants face off in ticket-earning games. The move is part of a broader pivot toward a more adult-friendly, Dave & Buster's–style destination (a 'barcade'), and comes after the company announced it would remove animatronic bands from all locations—leaving only a single animatronic in Los Angeles. Company leadership says it is "thrilled" to be developing licensed merchandise and media around its characters, signaling an effort to expand the mascot into a larger pop-culture presence." - Courtney E. I visit many. Ch7ckie l9cations in DFW and so far this is the largest and more spacious, they could add more games if they wanted to. Salad bar: typical for CC but no pineapple and spinach was wet. $4 for an order of fries but little qty. $28 for a large 5 meat. It took 38 minutes to get our food and it was not busy! Games are plenty and lots of tables, great for parties. Have to knock off a star as the bathroom was untidy, trash overflowing and stank 9f sewage.

Google
Clean and comfortable place. Had a immediate family day of birthday party for my grandson and it was great! Didn't book a package because we had a huge 1st Birthday party for my grandson the day before! So, us going on his birthday was just for a dinner! The only problem was that our order of the wings was forgotten then came out wrong but eventually corrected. Thank you!

I have not gone to a Chuck E. Cheese in a long time, there was so much upgrades here. There was no stage for the monsters (which was great I found them scary). Instead they had a screen on the wall with Kidz Bop videos, an interactive screen on the floor, a trampoline area and and obstacle course with slides. There is still a big arcade with many fun games and everything only cost 1 token for each.

I celebrated my son’s birthday here and I attended my friend kids birthday there this the best place to celebrate birthday party age 3 to 7 years younger

Google
This Chuck E Cheese is fantastic! The largest selection of games and rides, with a huge birthday section. Kat and her team are very friendly. My daughter loves this location so much, she requests to come here multiple times a week.

Google
The worst part about our visit was the other customers, ladies wearing tube tops and booty shorts to a kids play place is inappropriate. Yall should implement a dress code for your customers. Other than that, the games were all functional, the pizza was good. And I like the timed play versus token play.... that made it very easy to get out of there at a certain time! Overall it was a good visit.

Google
I brought my child here last week to have what was supposed to be a fun time and instead it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a child’s play place as my child was on the skip time game doing exactly that skipping he frantically began crying and screaming in pain I got him off of there and sat him down he took his shoe off and his tiny toe was bleeding he was very sad and is now left with the trauma of this and doesn’t want to ever go back to chucky ever again his words exactly what makes this all even more upsetting as a parent is knowing I didn’t have the support I hoped for when I let the manager know exactly what happened. After leaving and cleaning my sons foot up i ended up finding the piece of glass that went through my child’s shoe that is still intact to this day so I called the exact location to speak to the manager about my finding an employee answered and I asked who am I speaking to and they hung up now it’s been a week and no call and the game is still open for play more like to get hurt watch your children

Yelp
Definitely not the right Chuck E Cheese location for my toddler. I was accused of stealing a child's wristband today. The mother had came over, called me a thief and started to curse me out in front of my son. I came over to the manager and asked him to resolve it by going over to the mother and telling her that our band is registered under us and that she owed us an apology. The manager looked clueless. First, he said there was not much he can do. I was so furious and had to keep telling him that I felt disgusted that my son had to watch all of this. He eventually came over there to speak to her but it feels as if, he could give two cents about his customers. We love Chuck E Cheese but sorry, this place is not for us.

Yelp
Terrible service. 30- minute ticket time on a kid's personal pizza. THAT COSTS $15! No apology from management whatsoever. Girls at the cash registers are rude to adults and kids. Service has changed since the manager with the blonde hair moved away. Won't be coming back to this location. EVER.

Yelp
Summer season pass is a great value. The ambiance is nice and clean. The service I received from the door checker was excellent. I didn't eat here so I cannot comment on the food.

Yelp
We came here while we were out of town for our stay in Dallas for my son's third birthday. This is by far the worst Chuck E. Cheese I have ever been to in my entire life and I have been going to Chuck E. Cheese since I have been a kid. The atmosphere is chaotic to say the least. The manager and all of the staff are very lazy and unfriendly. The only friendly staff was the young gentleman with dreadlocks at the door, stamping peoples hands. He was very attentive and his name was Darren. They do not clean up. They leave the brooms laying around for children to trip on. Mind you today was my son's third birthday and when Chuck E. Cheese finally came out after hours of waiting, he literally nudged my son's hand away because he was trying to hold his hand. My son is autistic so he is very hands on and attentive with the things that he likes and Chuck E. Cheese happens to be one of them. In all of my travels, I would never come back to this Chuck E. Cheese location.

Yelp
I was very hopefully with the remodel/reopen this location would be better but it's not. They don't have many games for the younger crowd as other locations (my son is almost 3) & most of the workers are still very unprofessional & rude. I literally stood at the front counter while 5 workers walked past me & not one acknowledged me or said "Hi, Hold on please" Even the pizza wasn't as good as it usually is. I was hopeful with the renovation but they still have a lot of room for improvement.

Yelp
very disappointed that I ended up filling a complaint with corporate office. Today we decided to have a salad at Chuck E Cheese's We walked in at exactly 8:00 pm and we went straight to the register, order 4 salads and while placing our order a female walks to the register and mumbles something to the cashier, the person at the register then tells us he's about to put the salad bar away, I was surprised and questioned their closing time & the cashier confirms 9:00 pm, so I questioned why are you refusing service it's only 8:00? His response to me was (because it's time to close the salad bar) I was surprised since I worked for your company many years ago, and I know for a fact we never refused service an hour before closing, if anything we had to wait till closing time & for the last customer to exit in order to start putting things away, obviously the company is loosing a lot of business refusing service an hour before closing. While walking towards the door, I asked for the managers name and to my surprise I was told that the person standing next to the cashier is the manager and her name is Gabby. So as you can see I was more disappointed to see that the manager was allowing this to happen & im assuming they rather get rid of customers early to close & go home on time. Not only we were disappointed because we were craving a salad from there, but the poor customer service it makes me not want to return to your business ever again, and I'm pretty sure we were not the only ones that were rejected because there were just a few customers left. So we ended up next door at Olive Garden, great food & great customer service, please note that after the pandemic people are not spending as much, and on top of that you have lazy employees & management included, you really think your business is going to survive much longer? Good luck !

Yelp
My son is a fanatic. He loves it here. So no complaints from me. This location is very busy and the food sucks. But the games are good and tend to always work

Yelp
I came to the Chuck E. Cheese on airport Fwry on June the 2nd and it was a big disappointment I ordered the large # 1 with 4 drinks and 2 salad bars. We were not given a knife with the salad bar the salad mix was brown and wilted the Cantelope looked live it had been frozen and then thawed out I asked the cashier for salt and pepper and and he looked walked over to the salad bar area and said they only have pepper put it closer to me and when back to where he was when I asked for the salt and pepper I saw no parmesan cheese anywhere and with what I had already gone through with the salt and pepper I was not about to go ask for any. What happened to the old Chuck E. Cheese I used to come a lot with my older grand children and it was much better you were given tokens for the food you purchased now you only get the food. It is very expensive I spent 62.97 I could have gone to a nice restaurant for that price but because I now have a new granddaughter that just turned 2 I wanted her to experience the Chuck E. Cheese my other grandchildren hade experience but it was not sorry for a long review but I had to leave it Chuck E. Cheese is not the same.

Yelp
Great place to have a party for a kid. Service was super great and so was the area. There is always enough for kids to do and not get bored. The place is super clean and they give you enough privacy.

Yelp
Perhaps the icepocolypse kept people indoors while we were here because it was the cleanest and least crowded I've ever seen it. The place is run by teenagers; I should know--I worked here in high school. Anyway, the staff were pleasant and helpful. My niece and nephew had a blast, and they felt like they owned the place. Sure the food is less than grand, but I'll eat pizza here if it means the kids can run freely and safely until they're totally tuckered out. They even brought us matches and candles for the birthday cake. We opted to have the birthday song sans Chuck E. Cheese since Mason is still afraid of him. Haha.

Yelp
Don't expect much. I took my 6 year old grandson there 2 days ago. More than half of the games were not available for play. They do not tell you this at all, instead you discover this on your own when it is too late to back out. They have a lot of floor space to place these games away from each other but they cram 80% of them into one corner. WHAT A RIP OFF. Shame on you Chuck E. Cheese. You could have done much better if someone would have put some thought into this. Valerie

Yelp
It took them 3 hours to give us our pizza, the cashier was really rude and after waiting that many hours my kids were starving don't come to this place, also I saw a roach in the restroom.

Yelp
Although you can't see it in both my pictures my sons had a great time. I was a little apprehensive due to my last experience here (food tasted like old tap water and establishment trashed with NO employee assistance walking the floor) however, due to a last minute change in plans we were unable to make the location in Grapevine. The food was much better and the service from the employees was for the most part. My only issue (outside of how much trash was everywhere.. I'm trying to cut them a break there are crumb snatchers running around like wild animals) at one point they were doing "one in and one out" so if you were not with a party that paid you had to wait to get in since they were at "capacity." Ehhhh no. My sister called from the door with her boyfriend, I was at the front in a minute and was told the only exceptions were made by the manager-so there I was.. the one requesting the manager. While waiting, another crew member came over and said "well aren't you already seated?" I replied "yes. We are actually finishing up to leave they came to drop off my sons gift and leave." He said "let them in." Sooooo basically the capacity crap was a LIE-not cool. I'm glad I didn't have to get ugly but I was not happy. Overall, I would consider another location eventually but nobody in their right mind can do Chuck E Cheese two weekends BACK TO BACK VOLUNTARILY..I will need time.

Yelp
This place is big as compared to some of the near ones. But, tickets keep on getting stuck which at times is irritating.

Yelp
Let me preface by saying I try to avoid Chuck E Cheese at all costs ... probably just because I have a hard time believing the sanitary conditions meet my "germaphobe mom" standards. For what it is, and what you should expect, this location met standards. We attended a bday party here. It was busy and crazy as usual, but a pretty large facility and the host did a decent job.

Yelp
I and my sister took my son and niece Sunday morning since it was beautiful Day outside. Inside was already a lot of kids and guardians and it was quite pack since it was beautiful day after a while in dfw after all this cold. The place was clean and nice and kids had a lot of fun. There were some new games like cross that our kids loved
google avatar

Stephany R.

Yelp
Like any other Chuck E Cheese's this place is pretty packed which I'm sure everyone knows if you decide to go to any Chuck E Cheese. There's lots of games, most up and running, clean bathrooms, plenty of tables. The only downside is the wait time to get your food. Other than that this place is okay.

Yelp
Went on Natalie birthday super fun same rutin and drinks drinks drinks , salad too..had the runs on the dressings...sorry. but awsme!:)

Yelp
Another great place have the whole band sadly the don't really move much since they do the newer songs that they can't move too, the pizza was excellent and the games were fun defiantly a great place.

Yelp
If you're a God fearing, law abiding American, you hate this place. If you are fun-loving parent, looking for an air conditioned oasis in the summer, you accept this as a necessary evil. We generally come right when it opens and during the week and have the place to ourselves. While we didn't get food this time, their food, although not great, has been getting better. I like the new card system for playing games. We had a nice employee help us get it set up. The kids would easily give it 5 stars. It's location is great as well.

Yelp
We meet friends here from time to time with our kids. It's a great central location for all DFW'ers. And they sell beer! YAY!

Melissa B.

Yelp
We had a great time with our young kids. I really liked how the little kid games were in a separate side of the restaurant away from the big kid games. Yes there were a few games that ate a point and didn't work (ski ball!!) but we had a great time. They even have a climbing structure that is completely free. No train at this location but the littles loved the carousel. The pizza was actually quite good!

Timothy P.

Yelp
This Chuck E Cheese is better than others I've been to: more working games, and cheaper. I love that they still accept 1 token for almost all the games, whereas some others I've been to require more. I never eat the food, so I can't comment on that.

Liz G.

Yelp
Very poor customer service, I called and tried to order a pizza for pickup and the guy who answered the phone said they don't take phone orders, so I asked well how long will it take if I go in ? He said " 15 minutes " so I go in and order my pizza, after I pay she says it will be 30 minutes and I said wait I just called and the guy said it would take 15 minutes. Well Viviana said give me a sec let me go check so she went to the back then came back and said yeah it's going to be 30 minutes. Of course I wasn't to happy that I was lied to, I told Viviana that that was poor customer service to lie to someone and he bad thing is that this Andrew guy that answered was the manager. The second bad thing is she thought it was funny and he just stood there listening to our whole conversation and of course he had nothing to say!!
