The 13 Best Old-School Diners and Greasy Spoons in South Florida | Eater Miami

"Three Southwest Miami locations provide diners with stick-to-your-ribs breakfasts with a Southern bent, such as biscuits and gravy and country-fried steak and eggs. Diners can also skip the eggs and order a country-fried steak with vegetables and cornbread from its lunch menu, which also includes a selection of sandwiches and burgers." - Eater Staff

Chuck Wagon Review - Kendall - Miami - The Infatuation

"Chuck Wagon is a Kendall institution specializing in Southern-style breakfasts in a setting that feels like you’re in a live-action production of Oregon Trail—but without the dysentery. It’s located in the same shopping plaza as a feed store (horse country is just a few blocks away), which adds to the country vibe. We love ordering a glass of juice with breakfast here for the sole reason that it’s served in a cowboy boot-shaped glass (which you can buy to take home when you pay at the counter). They serve all sorts of American breakfast classics, including solid pancakes and a good bowl of grits. However, a visit to Chuck Wagon without an order of biscuits and gravy is a crime. Especially since they serve one of the best versions in Miami." - Carlos C Olaechea

Nice interior, good service, ok food. Our family visited Chuck Wagon for breakfast in April 2025, drawn in by its good reviews. The interior has an authentic charm, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that transports diners to a rustic setting. However, the food unfortunately lacked depth in flavor and failed to impress. The omelets, cooked in a very thin layer, were over-fried, resulting in a dry texture rather than the fluffy richness. On a brighter note, the home fries were well-prepared, the waffle had a pleasant crisp, and the hot chocolate was satisfying. The service was ok, nothing special. Overall, Chuck Wagon offers a great setting and a cozy dining experience, but if flavor and execution are a priority, it may not be the best choice. Food ordered Nova Omelette - one with grits, one with home fries Veggie Omelette - one with grits, one Chili Omelette with home fries Waffle with Strawberries Cappuccino Hot Chocolate

I’m visiting from Orlando fl. I was looking for a breakfast place and came across this place. When I walked in the door the had a basket of mangos. My favorite and also had fresh squeezed orange juice machine and I had to have some. The food was great too.

We came done to visit family from North Carolina for my birthday and it was a family home experience. Julie was amazing and served with so much love and I was there to celebrate a worker birthday. I will tell my family and friends to come here and the food was so good it was gone quick lol

My experience at Chuck Wagon Restaurant on 117 Ave was absolutely delightful. This is my first time visiting this place. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter, Julie, provided exceptional service throughout our meal. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. Speaking of the food, it was simply delicious. Each dish was prepared with care, bursting with flavor, and served hot and fresh. The portions were generous, ensuring we left fully satisfied. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Overall, Chuck Wagon Restaurant exceeded my expectations. The combination of great food and outstanding service by Julie made it a memorable evening. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in the area. I can't wait to visit again!.

Google
Our first visit ! So good we found this gem. Br ready for old, old school style fill-you-up food. My eggs Benedict was so good , I ate it all and forgot to take a pic! Joe , our server was just a prince. Highly recommend.

Third visit; always good and great attention. Cute western style, good dishes, decent prices. My pancakes and bacon were great, delicious coffee and excellent service. Kat was fantastic. Relaxing atmosphere for having a conversation or even work a little bit. Free parking.

Google
Thank you to our server, Julie, and the Chuck Wagon staff and management for providing great service, a delicious breakfast, and a wonderful restaurant overall. The biscuits are the best, you can tell they are homemade and freshly made. The tomato slices were huge, and also fresh. And our favorite breakfast, the corned beef hash omelette, was cooked to perfection and tasted great. We don't come here enough, we hope to visit more often. Chuck Wagon feels like home.

Google
On the outside, you will not find fancy curb appeal. Once you walk inside, it all changes. The food was plentiful, and the flavors were excellent. The decor is exactly what you would expect of a chuckwagon. The wait staff was super friendly. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
For what this is (nostalgic, greasy, warm delicious comfort food), it's great. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. Tasty breakfast and friendly service.

Aba C.

Yelp
Eggs Benedict $17.49 1 Waffle $10.49 We split an egg white veggie omelets, hot tea and OJ and the bill was $30.00. They charge charge you 49cents for each egg white egg, so $1.50 additional for egg whites. They need to change the $$ from 2 to 3 $$$. Plus the omelet was small and the bread super thin and minimal hash browns. Such a shame we loved this place. But $10.49 for 1 waffle, not even in Key Largo!! When we asked the waitress how much it was for 1 waffle and she said $10.49, she looked at us and said, "sorry I only work here." Much less people than we were use to seeing, now I know why. I know all is expensive but don't punish the customer by raising prices and giving them less. Don't be fooled the online menu prices do not match their actual on-site menu prices.

Yelp
This place is a Miami staple and has been around as long as I can remember. The turkey club was a good light lunch loaded with turkey. Service was good. The place looks a little run down and a bit grimey. I think it could benefit from a good scrub down. Seems like a good spot where locals and regular come to. I would come back.

Yelp
5 stars if you are looking for a "stick to your ribs" down to earth, hearty "American diner" restaurant. It is the quintessential diner with no frills. Just really good food. Go here hungry and bring your best friends because there is no pretentious staff or ambience- just a great place for yummy food and good conversation. My daughter and I love breakfast food and this was exactly what we were looking for after moving here from Texas two years ago . The biscuits and gravy were the best I've ever had. (It's priced high - guessing d/t it's Miami- but other than that- we loved it and will be back.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and the result never changes. This is the place for good ol' American country breakfast. Try the homemade potatoes and corn beef hash, but order these sides extra crispy! Waffles are a winner too.

Carol A.

Yelp
Great food, great service, friendly staff. Try the Georgia sausage. If you order biscuits, they don't come with gravy, don't order a whole order of B&G , you'll get both. If you want biscuits and gravy, just order biscuits with your breakfast and a side of gravy.

Yelp
Yee haw!!!! Ok now that I got that out of the way'. . Seriously, Chuck Wagon Restaurant is an institution / gem in the South Dade area. Over the years it has expanded some but its charm is the fact that it really has not changed all that much at all over the past 40 years. Every time I visit, it brings back memories of when my parents and I would regularly have breakfast or lunch on the weekends. My Dad loved the coffee and corn muffins at Chuck Wagon but that is really the tip of the iceberg. The food at Chuck Wagon is wonderful if you are in to country style breakfast and American cuisine. Truth be told, I just got back from Nashville, TN which has amazing biscuits and pancakes and honestly the ones at Chuck Wagon were just as good if not better and that is saying something folks. Portions are great and the service is awesome as well. I did the math this last week and I have been going to Chuck Wagon for at least 35 years and one of the servers who actually took care of us has been working there for over 30 years. Chuck Wagon is located near an area of Miami referred to as "Horse Country";also, a stones throw away from Sunset Feed and Supply so you cannot miss it. Parking can be a little bit of an issue as it can get packed but it is well worth the wait. Not too many of these American Country style restaurants left in Miami so if you are in the area and would like to have a nice breakfast or lunch, definitely check them out. On this outing we had the American Omelette with Grits, Eggs Benedict with Grits and shared a stack of buttermilk pancakes . As expected, the food was awesome. Anyway, if you are looking for a no frills down home country style food e perimeter, look no more. Wishing you all a great time at Chuck Wagon. Enjoy and Bon Appétit mes amis!

Yelp
I've been eating in this restaurant for years. It's basic American food. That is very good. They have specials for lunch every day I I eat at the restaurant that's on 74th Ave.

Yelp
Delicious food, great location, amazing staff. Their coffee hits the spot! Kids love the chocolate milk in a boot with whip cream, chocolate syrup swirls, and chocolate chips! Sweet tea is the best! Best advise/tip: if you like your breakfast a specific way (eggs, bacon, toast, or potatoes) make your specific requests! They will not let you down, simple ask or state how you like your eggs or any other food. People tend to forget that eggs, bacon, or simply toasts have different ways they may be prepared or served! The staff here will ask you how do you like your eggs toast or bacon! If they don't tell them! They will deliver! Love their pancakes and Belgium waffles. You can even have them strawberry, pecan, chocolate chip, or blueberry. If not mixed in on top! Mind blowing right??? Great for family. Even little tiny ones. Ideal environment and great food. Busy huts and cornbread.. yummm!!!

Yelp
We have eaten at Chuck Wagon at the Kendall location prior and thought the food and the prices was good at the time. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for the Sunset location where we were astonished at how the prices had gone up and the food was not freshly made. The waitress who was very nice took our order and in literally in less than 5 minutes the food was on the table for six people. I made a comment to the waitress, "that was quick". The breakfast was terrible as the bacon was over cooked and brittle and the pancakes were not hot and fresh. An absolute disappointment and we were not happy at all with the food. The prices for breakfast are at a lunch menu anywhere else. I do not recommend this place for breakfast as I haven't tried their lunch or dinner menu.

Yelp
Very nice traditional american breakfast, everything we ordered was really good, specially the Western Omelette, service was nice and food was delivered promptly, this was my first time here and will definitely not be the last!

Yelp
Sat down immediately. Food and drinks came out super fast. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our server was amazing

Yelp
Came on a Saturday morning. It was pretty busy but was seated right away. Friendly waitress. Food was good, really liked the biscuits. They were so soft and buttery. Enjoyed the coffee as well with free refill. Nice breakfast spot with a country old school feel
google avatar

Sheyla A.

Yelp
Food was good Service was great and quick Prices are too high for a country style American breakfast. Its cheaper to go to Publix and buy yourself eggs milk bacon bread pancake and have more supply for longer days. Again, food good, service good, price not too good.

Diana G.

Yelp
The food was hot when it was brought out, but it was very greasy, and it gave my husband and I a horrible heartburn and our cousins were sick of their stomach. The service was great, and the ambiance was western.

Catherine C.

Yelp
Great old fashioned diner. We eat breakfast here and get it fast and hot - staff are long timers and they're on top of it.
google avatar

Daphney D.

Yelp
Fastest I've ever received my food from any restaurant ever! Solid breakfast spot for classic American breakfast. Friendly service with a homey vibe.
google avatar

Tanya S.

Yelp
The service used to be really good over there. There was a waitress Kathy who was just awesome and we became regulars. We would visit on the weekends just so we could chat to her. Unfortunately she retired and we ended up with a waitress Bianca. She literally threw the food at us. We have not been back in over a year and we won't be back. Chuck wagon has lost some loyal customers just because of a waitress.
google avatar

Ed W.

Yelp
Chuck Wagon is a good place for a quick breakfast or lunch. Prices are very reasonable and Service is fantastic. Andrea was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. We were a group of 20 people and she was able to handle the large group with ease. All of our food was perfect and drinks came in a timely manner. If I have to say one thing is... it is not a place to order wine. But you can probably guess that when there. Beer and coffee .

Yelp
I had never been here before but my oldest daughter was craving it so I decided to give it a try. I am always in the mood for breakfast food so after a quick visit to the dentist in the morning, this wasn't a hard decision. I ordered a glass of orange juice and it tasted fresh. Not sure if they freshly squeezed their own OJ but that's what it tasted like. So my first impression was a good one. I decided on a platter that included pancakes and since it didn't include grits, I asked for a side. It's been a habit of mine lately to order grits at every breakfast spot I go to. I love grits but also enjoy comparing to other places. You really can't go wrong with an over easy egg and bacon. But grits and pancakes can vary drastically but in all honesty I was pleasantly surprised! The pancakes were fluffy and perfectly golden. I can honestly say that they serve one of the best pancakes I've ever eaten. The grits were also a big hit! They were very creamy and tasty. I have tasted some bland grits which I have tried my best to fix with some salt and butter but that was NOT the case here. I did not have to add anything! I did ask for them to add cheese for extra creaminess but it really didn't need it. They were perfectly done and the taste was right up there with the pancakes. One of the best grits I've ever had. Oh and yes bacon is served extra crispy. I prefer it crunchy and not too overly crisp BUT I must say, they were crispy but not burnt. I was in awe of how they got it to be that crisp without burning them. One of my daughters ordered an egg Benedict with home fries. First time she ever tried the eggs this way and she loved the taste. I have had eggs Benedict once before but this restaurant did a fabulous job. Kudos to the chef! It was very rich and flavorful! Almost forgot. My youngest daughter ordered a turkey sandwich and it was packed with turkey meat and she said it was VERY good! The side she picked were French fries and they were done just right. Crispy, golden & hot. Nothing better than fries done the right way! I will definitely come back another day with my husband since he's a big foodie too!

Yelp
You don't come to chuck wagon for inspiring top of the line ingredients. You come here because like myself you like southern food done right. In a city overtly saturated with Spanish twists on everything this place is a fucking beacon to straight up all American breakfast. If you like your sweet tea to be sweet and non diabetic inducing this is the place. If you want soft buttery biscuits that don't need a gallon of water to scarf down this is the place. If you want to talk to a Midwestern accent having lady whose name is probably Sheryl and enjoy a family vibe that makes you truly feel southern comfort this is the fucking spot. Try the sausage gravy it's legit. An if your lucky you can hear the cooks singing in the kitchen. Brings warmth to my heart to know my foods being made by somebody who knows what they're doing and sounds like they're enjoying it.

Ginnette A.

Yelp
The food and service was good, however, the register situation is a mess. You take up the servers "writing" of the order to the cash register, there is no subtotal on this scribbled writing so you walk up unaware of what you're expected to pay.. Thennn the cashier is entering numbers and you're at the mercy of the competence of this person.. there were 9 items on the servers writing of the order.. the cashier entered 17 items. 4 orange juices- call that 13 items, a coffee, call that 14.. we left not understanding what the other 3 items were but then you just look like you have a problem paying if you continue to ask questions which is not the issue at hand. The bill was $93 for 2 adults and 2 children. The bill is less at Cheesecake factory for the 4 of us and we always tip 25% ontop of that. Their system is antiquated and should be reviewed.

Yelp
Went For breakfast today...christian was our waiter what an angel... made my cafe con leche to perfection. Only place that I drink my whole cafe con leche.... It was hot...sweet... and yummy.. food was great! Loved the potatoes! Thank You Christian! Never forget his name ... like my grandson name!

Yelp
How could I have not known about this gem? A real diner with real (and delicious) American favorites. The menu was so enticing I wanted one of everything for breakfast. Settled on the slam with pancakes, had a side of real, homemade honest to god biscuits & gravy. Embarrassed to say I ate it all. Service was super friendly & I love the decor. This could be my new go to Sunday joint!

Yelp
The service was superb the food came out quick and hot and delicious. The coffee was also very good. I will definitely recommend this place for delicious breakfast

Yelp
I ask for Breakfsst It was the worst ever,I figure I try Chuck wagon due to i have not been here for the longest my eggs were running home fries look as if been hanging out biscuits hard beacon salty Dont waste your money i rather have eaten in McDonalds
google avatar

Nicole D.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere the friendly service and the selection of food! Their pancakes and their bacon were delicious! We did have to wait a bit longer for our meal, not sure as to why, as it was not busy and other tables were getting their food before us and we were seated before them. Our food did come to us a bit cooler than room temperature so I think it was just sitting at the window to be delivered to our table a bit too long - possibly forgotten. They were very friendly and the food quality makes up for the delay, and we would for sure come back for breakfast again - just was an off day for us I guess! I don't recommend their house potatoes- they had an off taste to them, old and not cooked right, a bit oily and crunchy(undercooked) Enjoy
google avatar

Yelp
I enjoyed a nice quiet late breakfast at the chuck wagon. First time here and it was a nice experience. The place is old probably been in the family for years and they stick to what works. The Sevice was good, tables were clean and the staff are friendly. I recommend you plan on arriving early because I was told the place gets packed. The prices are cheap and the food is good. Try the biscuits, their crispy, light and fluffy.

Lily S.

Yelp
Best traditional American breakfast in Miami! The bacon is perfectly crispy and meaty, the pancakes are fluffy and delicious, the eggs are fluffy and flavorful, the orange juice is fresh and delicious. The service here is really great. I came this time on a Saturday morning and was seated immediately and the food was brought out super quickly after ordering. The restaurant itself has a very welcoming western vibe. Great escape from the contrasting ambiance of Miami. This is my go-to breakfast place!

Yelp
We were a little early to shop at Costco on our way to the Keys so I turned to Yelp to find a good place for breakfast. The Chuck Wagon has great reviews and when we pulled into the parking lot it was full at 8:30 on a Sunday morning so we knew we had selected well. We were greeted right away by our server Jeanette who has worked at the Chuck Wagon for 30 years. She was fun and personable and most importantly really good at her job. We were well taken care of. Jeanette recommended the pancakes and the biscuits and we tried both and they were delicious. Literally everything our party of 4 tries was really good. And the coffee, including decaf was fresh and tasted amazing.

Yelp
Chuck Wagon to me is defined as comfort food! This place is always packed but service is quick. They turnaround the tables like no other restaurant I've ever seen. I love that they're like family, most of the people that work there have been there for years. A must: the biscuits and gravy. Freshly baked, soft and fluffy in the inside. Plus you can't forget to order a side of pancakes, chocolate chip to be exact. They are huge! Plus the sweet and savory mix go perfectly. I like this location way more than that on Bird Road, close to Tropical Park. This place is much bigger.
google avatar

Carol M.

Yelp
My husband and I visited this location on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The parking lot was full so we have to park on a street behind the restaurant. There was no wait and we were promptly seated. We ordered the all-meat omelette with potatoes for him and eggs, potatoes and biscuits for me. The food came a few minutes later and tasted good. My only complaint is that it wasn't as warm as it should've been. The service was good and the staff was very nice and attentive. We plan to return and give it another try.
google avatar

Bridgette T.

Yelp
Service is FANTASTIC. Now, the down side. Every single item is an upcharge and each coffee refill is a charge. Four of us for a traditional breakfast spent $86? Food was bland, pancakes were dry and bacon was deep fried and over cooked. Definitely not worth that price much rather go down the street to original pancake house and wait an hour for food that is much better quality. Sorry won't return.

Briana R.

Yelp
I never ever leave reviews but I had to for this place. I wish I would have taken pictures but I have to say this is by far the worst food I have ever received at a restaurant. My husband and I got the country fried steak and the waffles. Everything tasted low quality, the sausage tasted frozen, the waffles tasted like from a box, the steak tasted just off and still had bone in it. The orange juice tasted like from a can. If this place was cheap I would have been less upset. But this food literally made us sick to our stomach and we couldn't even finish our food. Service was ok. They gave us 1 menu and forget our biscuits which whatever not a big deal. The only thing good was that the service was fast and it's decoration is kinda cute I guess. Overall super disappointing. You're better off going to Denny's. Or literally anywhere else.
google avatar

Valeria E.

Yelp
Whenever I come here I feel like I am taking a time machine trip! The decor and feel of this restaurant is western and extremely vintage. (Even the booths are old fashioned..so cool!) This place has the definition of an "All American Breakfast". The breakfast is delicious. I've been here more than once and every time it tastes the same which is great as most restaurants lack consistency with their menu. When I go, I order the chuck wagon special and I add chocolate chips to the pancakes! The Orange juice comes in a cool cowboy boot which is so fun. They sometimes have wait times but they accommodate their customers in a timely manner. The food arrives quickly once ordered and the customer service has not disappointed. I would recommend!

Dan And Andrea H.

Yelp
For what this place is, an old fashioned breakfast joint it is really good and the service is excellent. They treat you like family. Because of the good and service everyone we are in that area we go there for breakfast
google avatar

Yelp
I was looking for a place with some good, stick to your ribs, breakfast options and found this gem! The food was good, and fast. The coffee was great (which is a true measure of a breakfast joint for me). Service was friendly. I'm in town for 6 days and will likely have breakfast here several of those days.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here several days ago for breakfast after an appointment I had at the Chiropractor. Almost has like a Cracker Barrel feel but I this place is better. I had the ham and cheese omelette which was very fresh and delicious. I believe a waitress by the name of Eve took care of me. She is the oldest one there but she is young at heart and a fireball full of energy. Her service was like a at-home feel in this family restaurant. High marks for the food, decor, service and atmosphere.

Yelp
So good so friendly so homey so perfect everything about this place is so good to enjoy the food and atmosphere and be relaxed thank you

Yelp
This has been a breakfast staple for our family since I was a kid. It's probably the only place you can get a good ol American meal! It has a country western atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices. If you're in a hurry, no problem, their service is faster than Jimmy Johns!!
google avatar

Stephanie Michelle P.

Yelp
This is a nice little local place that has been here for years. It's an original, western decorated breakfast spot in the heart of kendall. Service is wonderful. Food comes out fast and is delicious. Buyer beware: it can get expensive if you add toppings to your pancakes or waffles. Bill was almost $40 for two people & there's wasn't any Alcohol consumption. Lol.
google avatar

Shelly T.

Yelp
I am only giving 3 stars because Angie was a very good server. I am so very disappointed with the food the past few visits. I was giving y'all some chances, because I thought maybe you were having a bad day. My father used to take me here, then I took my kids, now recently my grandkids. The food has steadily gone downhill over the last few years. We have to drive an hour and a half just to get here. Today we spent $95 on food we didn't eat half of. The bacon was so burnt, that tells me it was deep fried. The potatoes were cooked but still hard and not grilled enough. Something about that seasoning too. My husband's omelette was so salty, he couldn't eat it all. The grits were aweful, and whatever happened to asking what kind of cheese you want on your food? The prices have gone up and quality down.. I really don't think we will be back..

Raul S.

Yelp
I've eaten at Chuck Wagon many times in the past at 3 different locations. I walked into the location in Kendall today & the lady at the door said to sit anywhere so we sat. We sat there for 10 mins & no one came to the table even after I waived at 3 waitresses standing by the cash register talking amongst themselves. After I waived & made eye contact they still didn't come. I gave them a few more minutes & left. The service has gone down hill!
google avatar

Kurt K.

Yelp
Well we needed to get some grits and eggs and low and behold cowboy this place popped up on the Yelp app. Almost most missed it because the restaurant sits back in a strip mall and the sign is faded but we managed to make it. It is a seat yourself kind of place and I recommend you ask for Eve to be your waitress. She is friendly and attentive once she knew we were there. Another waitress watched us sit down and did nothing but had a loud conversation and two cigarette breaks. Eve saved the day. The food came out super quick and it was big portions. Tasty and not too expensive. Coffee was pretty good and the huge mason jar glasses were cool. They offer a military discount which is always appreciated. A hidden gem for some southern comfort food. #kodiak_kuisine

Yelp
I'm not a biscuits and gravy kind of breakfast lover, or the type to order all meat breakfast omelets, so I was extremely hesitant to try this breakfast spot for a while. My love for breakfast is exclusively pancakes, two over medium eggs, bacon, and the beautiful combination of grape jelly on buttered toast. By majority vote, I begrudgingly ended up in this all American breakfast spot, and can honestly now say that it might be my new favorite! We arrived at 10AM on a Sunday and were received by a slammed parking lot. We were lucky enough to have arrived as a car was leaving, but parking may be a bit of an issue. Based on the time and crowded parking lot, we expected a long wait time but were pleased to have only waited 10 minutes! Amazing. The restaurant is all American and very charming, with western style art on the walls. Our waitress, whose name I unfortunately couldn't get (no time!), immediately came to our table with waters for the three of us and informed us that a table of 20 was about to place their food order so that we would put a little pep in our step, a tip that we REALLY appreciated! Menu is easy to understand and there was way more than just hearty dishes. I created my absolute perfect breakfast... and then disaster struck. There was no grape jelly. Saddened, I sought confirmation from our waitress, who confirmed this tragedy. Several minutes later, she placed 3 packets of grape jelly onto my table after having searched the entire restaurant. She had a lot of tables to attend to - so this extra service meant so much to me (thank you so much!) The food arrived less than 20 minutes later, around 15 minutes I'd say, which we found so pleasantly surprising! The restaurant was totally full so we had expected a much longer wait. Even more surprising, the table of 20 received their plates only minutes after us. Really good speed in the kitchen! Everything came out exactly as ordered and so delicious. Best pancakes around! Their menu is definitely diverse enough for everyone to get their perfect breakfast fix. Our wonderful waitress had also came over to check on us during and after our meal. Excellent service, reasonably priced dishes (dare I say, cheaper than Denny's), and an overall 5 star experience!

Yelp
I was down in West Kendall this Saturday morning and found Chuck Wagon on Yelp Mobile, and all I have to say is: Dammit Bobby, it ain't bad! As the name indicates, the theme is definitely Old West with cow horns, old rifles, an American flag and cow fur by the entry sign. Service was pretty pleasant, and I was served quickly. Their menu nominally offered my brunch favorite of eggs benedict. Maybe it's the first time the dish was being offered; I mean, the egg was poached, the Canadian bacon was thick cut and it was served on a thin biscuit. However, it was missing the hollandaise sauce. It wasn't bad, but definitely not the full eggs benedict recipe. I glanced around the other tables, and it seems I probably should have ordered a more regular egg dish. I ordered a blueberry waffle for dessert, expecting a waffle with either baked in blueberries or at least blueberries over the top. This was a regular waffle (guessing not made from scratch) with a blueberry compote on the side. The taste was pretty good nonetheless.
