At this point, I have tried almost all Korean restaurants in the vicinity, and so far, Chung Ki Wa is probably one of the best, both for K-BBQ and kitchen items. The place is spacious and a good spot for casual dinners with family or friends. Parking is super easy as they have a private parking lot. Leave your coat in the car, so it doesn't pick up the BBQ smell. It takes A LONG time to get rid of it.
I get to try more exotic dishes such as soondae (Korean blood sausage), jokbal (braised pork trotters), raw oysters and bossam (boiled pork), and al tang (spicy pollock roe soup) here, as it's often hard for me to find them in other places. They all may sound scary, but give it a try when you feel adventurous. They taste so much better than their name. Nevertheless, they also have all the other typical, familiar dishes such as sundubu jjigae (spicy soft tofu stew), pajeon (Korean pancake), bulgogi (marinated beef), galbi (short rib), galbitang (short beef soup), and so forth. Although I can't say whether the taste is authentic since I've never been to Korea, the taste is comparable to most Korean restaurants I've been to all around the country. It's delicious. Service is excellent! All the staffs are very hospitable and friendly.
The price is towards the higher end. However, it's reasonable given the quality and quantity of the food. Even though there are still Korean food times I miss and cannot have in the area (such as soy-marinated raw crab or hotteok), Chung Ki Wa is one of my go-to when it comes to curbing my Korean food craving.
