The 38 Best Things to Eat at Disneyland

"A white chocolate and cinnamon sugar-coated hunk of toffee whose popularity — and ever-increasing price — are a testament to its newly minted cult status. Find it here and at all Disneyland Resort’s candy shops." - Carlye Wisel

The 25 Best Things to Eat At Disneyland, Ranked - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Location: Various stands Of all the food groups represented at Disneyland, the churro is definitely the most important. They’re basically warm cinnamon bolts of perfection and completely make up for the brain-searing dullness of the Finding Nemo ride. Plus, you can find their stands all over the park, guaranteeing you’re only about 50 yards away from one at all times. Disney magic, indeed." - Brant Cox

Google
Best churros in Disney! Freshly made so longer wait than other churro stands in Disneyland but well worth the wait! On this occasion, they had a special lemon churro, with lemon honey glaze and cereal crumble. It was amazing! Of course, we also got a regular Churro because it's not a trip to Disneyland without it 🙃.

Joshua Wrye

Google
Disneyland has THE best churros! There are multiple churro carts throughout both Parks and, for the most part, they're always fresh, warm, and full of Cinnamon and sugar! I really enjoy a churro after a great meal or simply for a snack while waiting in line for my favorite Disneyland ride! The churros are so good that there will usually be a line about 10-20 people long, right after dinnertime so get 'em fast!

Jordan Jones

Google
If you say one bad thing about a Disneyland churro, you shall be haunted by the ghost of Walt Disney...sounds cool right? Well keep in mind, you just bad mouthed his product and in a way bad mouthed him specifically...not so fun now is it....

JKwon

Google
Most satisfying I ever had. Long crunchy and filled with generous amount of sugar. Can't go wrong in wonderland.

T Dozi

Google
The most perfectly delicious churro I've ever had. I had several... and can vouch for their consistency in deliciousness!

Google
Must try the Disneyland churros from this company. Super legit!! I highly recommend.

Google
Get a churro. I know you're sick of standing in lines. This one goes fast and is so satisfying. Trust me, get one. And then stop again and get another one later.

Google
Always fresh churros and they always taste great.

Yelp
Our server Daniel was the best ever! We had a blast enjoying delicious food, and he made sure our food allergies were taken care of! He seriously was the best and he needs a raise he was cheerful, funny and made our tip great!

Yelp
We loved the bold and tangy flavor of the BBQ sauce on the loaded fries. 10/10 would get again. The chicken pot pie soup did not come out hot.. maybe Luke warm at best. However, their biscuits in the center really make the soup taste good. I loved the buttery mash potatoes so I wish I got one of those meals instead. I got lucky and was brought inside to eat for my reservation and it really keeps the noise out so you can really refresh from Disneyland and get a second wind for the rest of your day. Get the 2 or 3pm reservation to recharge ! The servers are really attentive and super nice. I wish there was a restroom in the building - just doesn't make sense to me not to have one for guests eating in at these type of restaurants.

Yelp
**January 2025: Tuesday Night Visit** It was windy and I was looking for a hot meal with indoor seating, and River Belle Terrace fit the bill. On my visit, I was able to do a walk-up (Weekday 5:30pm) and was escorted to my seat. While I've been to Disneyland many many time, this was my first time at this restaurant and honestly, it reminded me a lot of when I visited some Southern style restaurants in Atlanta. It had very old charm vibe and everyone was super friendly. I decided to try the Chicken Pot Pie Soup ($25) and was pleasantly delighted. It was creamy and I devoured it. They also accept Magic Key Discounts and given the positive experience, I'd be open to come back to enjoy a Fantasmic Dinner here on of these days.

Yelp
I want to start off by saying their service was above and beyond! Took my grandma here for the first time and the server was kind and explained everything with all the patience since it was our first time here. Server was funny too and made my grandma laugh & she said she loved that she was treated with respect. I'm not a fan of trying new foods or of salads but this salad was delicious! It had so much flavor and did not taste dry at all & the pork belly was cooked well. The wildberry mule was very sweet and could not taste the vodka. It wasn't too busy when we went but we sat outside and had a nice view of the park.

Yelp
I came here and visited for Sweetheart's Nite back in January 2024. We decided to try it out as they offered a pre-fix menu exclusively for this event. The wait wasn't too long, which was good. I did find the corn ribs dish a bit deceiving hence the name. I thought it was going to be meat ribs served with corn on the side. Other than that, all the other food dishes were good. Our waiter was friendly and was pretty speedy. I would come here again at a different time at Disneyland. Instead of Sweetheart's Night.

Yelp
This was my first time trying a seated indoor restaurant at Disneyland. We had no idea that restaurants normally require reservations way in advance. We had originally tried to walk-in to a restaurant on the Main Street and were told reservations were needed via the app. So I downloaded the app and checked no reservations were available, except River Belle. Lucky me! When we got to the restaurant, we told the hostess outside that we had a reservation. They would send us a text when our table is ready. It wasn't much of a wait till we were able to get seated inside. There was outdoor patio dining too but this seemed already full. The service was efficient here. We ended up ordering the loco moco (hamburger steak and eggs) and Cuban sandwich. These were yummy lunch items! Would recommend trying these. The only downside was for some reason my credit card wasn't working so I had to go outdoors with the waiter to pay at their screen, which I found a bit strange. Otherwise, this was great tasting food that was not overly priced. The setting was also aesthetic, making great for photos!

Yelp
In Disney Park, I visited the River Belle Terrace Chicken pot pie soup 4/5 was very delicious. It costs $25 which I think is overpriced. Pork chop and three 5/5. The pork was juicy. The apple bourbons which were sour takes away the fattiness. And the mashed potato and green beans were well. I have nothing to complain about this $29 dish. Mississippi mud pie 3.5/5 the sprite and other fudge, chocolate and cream create a unique and strange flavor. I would definitely recommend trying to taste it. Pecan tart 5/5 comes with vanilla ice cream. The warm tart is nutty and crispy on the outside. So

Yelp
Note! This restaurant is inside Disneyland . It is next to Pirates of the Caribbean ride. First time here trying their breakfast /brunch menu. Different menu from dinner offerings. I like dining here. They offer indoor or patio . I prefer indoors for the air conditioning. But, during the Fantasmic show it may be a fun to sit outside. Food is better than other offerings in the park. Servers are always courteous and friendly.

Yelp
Service was a delight. Food was simply horrible. Greasy. Burnt, and sloppily plated. Just the worst restaurant in Dland. The fries were good though.
google avatar

Yelp
This was our first time sitting at an indoor restaurant inside. It was all till the first time we were ever served like this here as well. I chose the buttermilk chicken plate and my girlfriend had the chicken pot pie soup. We also decided to share the pork belly salad, and it was really good. The pieces of pork belly were chewy and freaking delicious. My chicken breast was flat and boneless and perfectly crunchy, coming with mashed potatoes, broccolini, and a spicy coleslaw. Damian and Shane teamed up to take care of us. I would highly recommend someone to come here and try their food. It's really good.

Yelp
We dined here during a long day at Disneyland. It was nice to have a sit down meal experience to take a break and have someone service us rather than the quick service options. Our waiter was great - he was friendly and professional, plus kept the iced tea glasses full! I had the Farmhouse Salad which came with pork belly. It was OK, but not outstanding. The pork belly bites were heavily seasoned so would have been better if there was a little less on them. My husband had the BBQ burnt ends pasta. It was fairly good, but a little spicy which was not advertised on the menu. He found it too spicy for his taste so we ended up trading. Liked the flavor of the dish, but there were little crunchy bits in it that we couldn't clearly identify. It's possible it was dried onion that didn't get softened or cooked all the way through, but we weren't sure. I would try this dish again but it should have a warning that it's slightly spicy. Overall, this was a decent option for in park dining.
google avatar

Kimberly H.

Yelp
Location is great. If you sit outside you might see the river boat and pirate ship sail by. Service is very good. Food is OK. Honestly, if they bring some of that fried chicken from Plaza Inn. But we'll keep coming back bc this is a nice spot and the menu changes often.

Yelp
Disney does everything with excellence. However, I don't recommend this restaurant, I knew better because my buddies had warned me that the best restaurants required reservations months in advance. We should have eaten at the recommended corn dog stand. I should preface that I don't prefer southern cuisine. There is not a bathroom nearby. When we left the restaurant and walked to the closest bathroom it was closed. We opted to hold it and use hand sanitizer for our hands. We ordered: kids - chicken skewer, kids - Mac and cheese, Pasta, and chicken sandwich (none of this is the technical names). There isn't anything "typical" except the kids menu. Pros: You get to side down with air conditioning and relax. Cons: The food, it takes awhile, no restroom facilities. All in all, I do not recommend River Belle Terrace. Save yourself some money and visit the corn dog stand.

Yelp
3 star food option for sit down lunch at Disneyland. Nothing really stood out but the wait was not bad and we it filled our belly. Would we go back? Maybe not since there are many other options
google avatar

Yelp
River Belle Terrace is a sit-down restaurant next to Pirates of the Caribbean. It requires a reservation, but they usually have reservations available a couple of days prior (and sometimes the day of). We went on a crowded day during the holiday season so it was really nice to sit down and avoid the crowds. I prefer the food at reserved dining areas over the fast food options at Disneyland since they're usually tastier and healthier, but it is more expensive. We ordered 6 dishes to share and 2 coffees for 4 people and it came out to ~$27 per person. The chicken fried sandwich was really good - comparable to Howling Ray's! The American breakfast is a classic choice that comes with sausage, bacon, eggs, potato fries and toast - very few restaurants in Disneyland serve breakfast like they used to. The coconut macadamia pancakes came with pineapple, cantaloupe, and dragon fruit which were all sweet and ripe! I'm dairy free and ordered the grain bowl. It is tasted healthy with Brussels sprouts, spinach, and tofu and was slightly spicy - it's also smaller portions than everything else so it wasn't too filling. I also ordered the apple cranberry oat cobbler which came with oat ice cream and that was my favorite!! The fruits were sweet and the ice cream was cinnamon vanilla flavored and was one of the best non dairy ice creams I've had.

Yelp
For Disneyland food, definitely up there for what Disney has to offer. We had the deviled meatballs, Big Belle Sandwich, Blackened Sustainable Fish, Chicken Pot Pie Soup, Fruit, and Cherry Oat Cobbler. Because we came during a really hot summery day, we opted to dine in-doors and glad that we did. The Big Belle Sandwich is, I believe, the signature entree at this restaurant. It is hearty, and can feed at least two people, IMO. It was flavorful but very heavy in carbs. The fish was good but fairly standard (no wow factor). The deviled meatballs were creamy and had a slight kick that I was not expecting. Service was prompt and friendly. The interior was clean, spacious, and air conditioned (big plus for the summer). If you're looking for something other than pizza, chicken fingers, or "fast food", this is a good place to consider.

Yelp
River Belle is one of the restaurants in the New Orleans' themed area of the park. It's a "fancier" sit-down restaurant that guarantees you tickets / seating near the water front show (Fantasmic). The food was expensive and sub-par, but glad we went just for the reserved seating for the show - fantasmic was great!

Yelp
Good customer service, cool little place to dine. (Outside seating only) I had the loaded fries and they were good.

Yelp
A new eating spot this park trip.... Wow ! We were so impressed. We were seated on the patio with a neat view of Pirates of the Caribbean and the Rivers of America. Our server promptly brought us waters and iced tea , much appreciated on this warm day. The food was amazing with super generous portions ..My son got the big Belle sandwich and ate it all ! He did take it apart to manage it properly . I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. It was so big I could only eat part of it. Every bite was delicious and I enjoyed the unique fries that accompanied. My husband went the breakfast route and had the biscuits and gravy. Again huge portions, super tasty and couldn't finish ! We will definitely stop here again the next time at the park!

Yelp
I went to Disneyland for a work outing and a coworker made reservations at River Belle for lunch. The patio outside is pretty spacious and the inside is on the smaller side, but air-conditioned. We were seated immediately and the wait staff was very kind, but the food itself took a while to come out. The menu itself was pretty small and moderately priced. It had no more than 1 health-friendly/vegetarian option. I'm not a vegetarian but I don't violently hate myself, so vegetables are kind of important to me. What I ordered - - Big Belle Sandwich: Ms. Big Back - she's a double decker sammy with thick bread slices, Nashville Hot chicken (more tangy than hot), brisket Mac & Cheese, and slaw. The Mac & Cheese was my favorite part of the sandwich and I honestly would have opted for a bowl. - Roasted Squash: The lone veggie danger, she was actually really good! The base is a spicy tomato puree/soup mix that was delicious (would have gone great with a grilled cheese), topped with veggies. The veggies include squash blossoms, squash, green beans, tomatoes and a few other toppings. All in all, this spot was OK food-wise. Not the Belle of the ball, but an attendee nonetheless. If you can snag a reservation at another spot, I would recommend.

Yelp
Had my first meal at River Belle Terrace with a friend last week and we had a good first visit. We participated in the Standard Fantasmic Dining Package which granted us a three course meal from a pre-fixed menu (all items are part of their regular menu), a non-alcoholic drink, and a spot in a designated viewing area for Fantasmic. Advanced reservations are needed for this package and can be made either on the Disneyland mobile app or Disneyland website. The restaurant is located to the side of Pirates of the Caribbean with the entrance facing the Rivers of America. We came in on a Wednesday evening and they were over an hour behind with reservations. Luckily, our reservation was for the second Fantasmic show, so the delay didn't affect us except for increasing our hunger level. All Cast Members (CMs) were professional and kind in all interactions from relaying the news about the delayed reservation seating to the wonderful service we received during dinner. Food was spaced out perfectly with each course. Although we were one of their last customers due to the delay, the CMs never made us feel rushed to hurry and get out. The experience was pleasant overall. Our order consisted of the: - Cup of Chicken Pot Pie Soup (Appetizer) - Deviled Meatball Skillet (Appetizer) - plant-based - Pork Chop (Entree) - BBQ Burnt End Pasta (Entree) - Cherry Oat Cobbler A La Mode (Dessert) - plant-based Everything, except the pasta, was surprisingly tasty. I have heard mixed reviews about River Belle Terrace, but overall our food was good. The Chicken Pot Pie Soup was sooooo tasty - creamy and flavorful. The biscuit and all of the fixings inside complemented the overall taste well. The Pork Chop had a spiced rub coated all over it. It gave the pork chop a little kick, but in all of the best ways. The pasta was the only notable miss for us as the pasta itself was flavorless. The brisket included in the pasta was great, but there was just a sprinkle of it at first. When the CM learned we didn't like it, she brought out a whole plate of the brisket for us to mix into the pasta, which leveled up the dish in a major way. By the time dessert arrived, my friend and I were both stuffed but the cobbler was a nice way to end the meal. I would definitely return to River Belle Terrace again in the future. Would I go so far to say it's one of my favorite restaurants at the Disneyland Resort; no, I wouldn't. However, it was a quality meal that justified the price and experience we had to watch Fantasmic conveniently without camping out for hours. A few things to note: - A Standard Package will allow you to dine INSIDE River Belle Terrace and will provide you with access to the designated viewing area for one of the Fantasmic viewings of the day. A Premium Package will grant you dinner on the outside River Belle Terrace where you will stay to enjoy and watch Fantasmic from your seat at the restaurant. - You must have a valid ticket and park reservation to enter Disneyland the day you dine at River Belle Terrace. - Magic Key Discount did apply to the Dining Package (surprisingly!).

Yelp
First off - if you want to eat in any table service restaurant in the park - you're going to need to reserve a few days or weeks ahead - depending on what time you prefer. We reserved it only a few days in advance. The menu is limited but the theme is a southern type of cuisine. Beer and wine are offered. I would say it's average pricing for Disneyland so just be prepared. Servers are friendly - food came out speedy - and the ambiance is pretty relaxing....people watching ;) Ordered the Pumpkin Slice pancakes which were extremely delicious. The butter was whipped also a hint of the same spices. It was very tasty. Glad we are here during the fall as I am pretty sure these pancakes will not be on the menu in the spring. lol
google avatar

Sandra R.

Yelp
River Belle Terrace, a Disneyland institution since August 17, 1955, offers refined table service in the heart of Frontierland. This elegant restaurant affords stunning vistas of the Rivers of America and the legendary Mark Twain Riverboat, paired with signature Southern-style cuisine, including fried chicken, barbecue ribs, and cornbread. With its gracious 'Southern Belle' ambiance, River Belle Terrace is an outstanding choice for Disneyland guests. The brunch menu, featuring an artful blend of breakfast and lunch items, is particularly popular. Although the food quality may be average, the restaurant's pricing strategy ensures exceptional value, surpassing that of other table-service restaurants within Disneyland and California Adventure.

Yelp
The ambience was river boat classy and the A/C was a breezy refresher from the heat. The ice water was crisp and free. Our server Javier was efficient, professional and nice. I ordered the salad - the lettuce was turgid with a snap and the pork belly was surprisingly fantastic....BUT the portion was small due to limited lettuce. The chicken pot pie soup was so tasty and luxurious but needed some rough cut carrots and potatoes to give it a comforting heartiness. The kids chicken skewer needed to be plural. Overall, I commend Chef Xavier for achieving wonderful flavors and understand the portion size is probably due to Walt's corporate handcuffs.
google avatar

Juliana R.

Yelp
The River belle Terrance has such a beautiful ambience, very princess fairy hahaha! The costumer service is excellent as well. Our server Carlos was very friendly. I saw a lot of bad reviews for the bbq pasta but I actually thought it was lovely. The bbq burnt ends actually go very well with the pasta. I love that they sell alcohol as well. They've got beer, wine, and their signature cocktail which was very yummy.

Yelp
Can I say AMAZING any other way???? Excellent service ..we had chicken pot pie soup...salad, beyond meatball and grits skillet, spicy pork chop and mashed potatoes, broccoli..and a BG Belle spicy chicken breast, brisket, slaw, mac n cheese double decker sandwich with red pickled onions and baby pickles ...OMG...then ..yes there's MORE ..tart cherry cobbler a la mode! Best cast member serving us EVER!
google avatar

Christine M.

Yelp
I'd say great service and great food, I ordered a chicken pot pie soup, very savory and delicious with a biscuit inside. I also tried a taste of the fried chicken and buttery mashed potatoes. The chicken was very moist and crispy made perfectly. The dessert was top notched it was the house made pudding. Made with sticky toffee and Chantilly. The ambiance was a beautiful setting inside and comfortable seating.

Yelp
This is always 10/10 for us. From service to food and decor.their sandwiches are big and tasty!!

Yelp
Although this was not the first time here, this time was underwhelming. After checking in for our reservation which we had to give our phone number for then wait for a text which is silly since what's the point reservation if we have to wait for a text after we check in. After being seated, we had to almost 10 minutes before our server finally had time to see us and take our order and then another almost 15 before food was brought out. Since everything is premade from the same menu, the wait time was ridiculous. I was rather disappointed in the kid sized serving compared to the price. Per the picture, our kid got one piece of chicken, a couple of "fries" and two orange slices. This wasn't enough chicken for the price demanded, but then again it is Disney so I'm surprised we got that much. The grilled cheese and the loaded fries we decent but I do wish there was more brisket for the loaded fries. I doubt we will be back.
google avatar

Julie W.

Yelp
We sat inside for this brunch trip. It's not overly air conditioned. You're much closer to your nearby neighbors. Our waiter was unable to fit between the tables comfortably. Food, ambiance, service was good. French fries were crispy and good. Only one was too thick. Pimento cheese sauce went well with the burnt ends. My pal liked his fried egg all over. It's chicken biscuit and gravy. Yum!
google avatar

Deanne L.

Yelp
Never disappointed, large portions and tasty every time. here this last weekend and enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken and brisket Mac and cheese sandwich on Texas toast! The loaded bbq brisket fries with egg were delicious too. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and prices were affordable for the quality and quantity of food you get in the park. You'll want to make reservation though, this place can be popular. One of our favorites when at Disneyland. A must do for places to eat!

Yelp
NOTICE #DISNEYDISAPPOINTMENT. I normally don't write reviews as often as I use to because I would just pass on places that have poor anything, but this is Disneyland and I would expect something better since I pay to get into the park to then pay more to eat at a sit down place inside the park. Let me say this, the fact that we made reservations earlier in the week for a specific time and came an hour early just to check in, we were seated 45 mins after our reservation time, for someone who has medical conditions that needs to keep blood sugar levels pretty specific through proper eating this is not the place to go because the fact that the reservation time isn't honored is pretty bad even when early checked in by an hour. Next when we were seated there was no other party around us and we waited and waited and then a large party was seated and immediately served water menus came flying out while we sat there watching the same staff who was to be our waiter and busser came after the other tables order was taken and drinks delivered. Just because we weren't a party of 8 doesn't mean we shouldn't get the same recognition and service. My money is just as good as anyone else's. My tip can go up or down depending on service. So the other group gets better service because they order more and you get a fat tip? You don't know who you're serving and should treat people/party equally. Shame on you! Food was alright the veggies seemed to have been over cooked and wilted leaning brownish yellow when they should be green, it was pretty sad. The pork chop was dry. Meaning the entire plate sat in the pass having a second round of harvesting and cooking! I've eaten at other sites down places within the park that were both far better with food that have more complexity in the food prep that was perfect, this wasn't that difficult, I had the soup which was alright, nearing salty but not quite. The biscuit crumble I. The chicken pot pie soup was a good portion of the plate that was absorbing most of the soup. Seriously I don't normally complain and just don't post a bad review being a Ken about my food and experience but man... had to share how rough it was! It wasn't like totally full bore packed and kitchen was slamme, they closed the outside dining area due to rain earlier in the day but the outside seating was totally dry. So yes disappointed definitely won't come back here, I'd rather spend my money getting skewers in Frontierland down a ways and get a happy friend staff serving me tasty perfectly cooked meats.

Yelp
THEY SERVE AWESOME BEER HERE! Fantastic ambience at this restaurant! Wonderful service, Hector was awesome! Food is always amazing here. We will be back!

Yelp
This review is specifically about the fantasmic brunch package, which gets you great seats for the show in exchange for a prix fixe meal. For an adult, the meal was $58 for a starter, entree, drink, and dessert. For kids, the meal was $32 for drinks, starter, entree, and dessert. While most of us enjoyed the entrees, the food quality was overall poor and not worth the value paid. Service was good, as always is at Disney, but the sad salad and inedible desserts really put this over the line for me. I love dessert, but the vanilla ice cream on the cobbler tasted so artificial I really couldn't eat it. My kid's berry dessert was an extremely small portion -- just a few blueberries and a half a strawberry.
google avatar

Jeffrey H.

Yelp
One of our favorite places to eat, the portions are still big not reduced like all the other places in Disneyland and you get sit down service so a bit more pricey but tasty for sure ..

Yelp
We made reservations her for FANTASMIC and as much as I love Disney food, this place just didn't live up to it. We had the meal package(3 course meal). To drink we had a wild berry mule and I ordered the Smog city Amber, the mule was not good, but the beer was! We started off with the deviled meatballs(which are plant based), were surprisingly very good. My wife picked the chicken pot pie soup, which was also very delicious(probably the best thing we had). For the main I picked the Big Belle sandwich, which was exactly what it was. HUGE. Not small enough by any means to pick up and eat normally(believe me I tried). The flavor mixture was weird. The brisket Mac n cheese on the top portion and Hot chicken on the bottom. I ended up separating them and the Mac n cheese was pretty flavorful, but there was hardly any on the sandwich. The chicken itself was not very good. The chicken was over cooked and the amount of sauce seemed to try and mask it. I wasn't sure whether it was a load of Tabasco and or franks red hot, but it just overpowered everything. My wife's burnt end pasta was spicy(which they should note on the menu) and very, very salty. Neither of us came close to finishing the mains. Our server was pleasant when he did stop by, which was not often. It was also strange that the place was half full but there were a line of servers(about a dozen)standing behind us against the wall just talking. We had to ask for water multiple times, we both probably would have ordered a second drink but no one came by. In the end I would give it another shot as there were many other items that looked good, but I would have opted out of the FANTASMIC dinner package.

Yelp
Came here to get the fried chicken sandwich, unfortunately it is a brunch item and we were too late. So we ordered the next best thing. My husband got the burnt end pasta which was good but had something crunchy in it, I don't remember what and it added a weird texture to the dish. I got a sandwich, I forgot the name but it had what I think was buffalo chicken with coleslaw and pickles, a slice of bread and then macaroni and cheese topped with another piece of bread. 3 pieces of Texas toast sized bread. The sandwich came with a side of fries as well. It was overkill. Each layer of the meal was delicious but altogether was excessive and not easy to eat. I had to dismember the sandwich and ate it with a fork and a knife. It'd be better as the chicken sandwich with the fries OR macaroni on the side. We enjoyed the food for the most part but probably wouldn't order those again. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Yelp
*** Vegetarian Review *** This is my second time here and unfortunately the second time was not a charm. The Good : Location! It's Disneyland! The Not-So-Good : Inside seating area is very outdated. I get that this is a themed restaurant, but a little makeover wouldn't hurt. The Better : Outside seating is perfect. Great views of Mark Twains riverboat. The Bad - Unfortunately, the food so I cannot recommend this at all. American Breakfast ($16, Grade C-) We showed up today for brunch. Had to make some vegetarian substitutions (no bacon, no sausage) No swap outs or adjustments for the deletions. So we couldn't get extra eggs or another biscuit. The scrambled eggs were okay. At least they were hot and not overly greasy. The biscuit is super dry. We asked for jam and it's a strawberry jam. Didn't help. The star of this movie plate were the french fries. They save the plate and almost make $16 for a dish that really is not magical at all palatable. I can't tell you enough how good the fries were. Unfortunately, you can't just order these as a snack-to-go because they quite possibly may be the best snack at the park. They do have a vegetarian option for brunch. Roasted squash, heirloom tomatoes, heritage grains succotash, greens, and tofu. But the last time I ate here for lunch, we tried their tofu. The server actually took it away from our table and agreed that they should not be serving tofu here because they do not know how to prepare tofu here. So, any dish with tofu was definitely off the limits for River Belle. Bottom line. I gave this another try and was not impressed beyond the fries which might be one of the best things I've had at either park. Until I figure out how to order those separately, there won't be a third visit.

Yelp
We came back again for a lunch on Monday January 29, 2024. I had reserved a table for 6 in The Disney app. For noon. We ate outside but it was improved over last time. Umbrellas covered almost all the area so no one had to get In sun. We were seated very promptly after checking in. Like 2 min later. I ordered the brisket and grilled cheese sandwich and fries. I had a side of ranch. It was pretty good and I agreed with Dan as we weren't that hungry. My adult son had the breakfast plate with sausage eggs and more and he said it was great ! It looked excellent too and generous. The kids had kids meals and my daughter had ? We would definitely time back again as it's nice to have a table reserved with larger groups and not wonder where you will be eating. For the prices quality has improved a lot and we enjoyed our meals and drinks.

Yelp
Honestly better than expected! We got the Cuban sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, and loaded fries with egg and the wild-berry mule. The chicken sandwich was a bit dry but had good flavor. The other two entrees were pretty tasty. The wait was a bit long but service was good. Cute little place. Would come back.

Yelp
It wasnt perfect or it wasnt bad...so thats why i gave it a 4 instead of a 5...Jose our server was great..he was friendly and was very patient especially with all the question me and my wife had for the food and its ingredients especially because our son is anaphylactic with foods he eats...so Jose being patient about it made our dining great...food was good and it was plenty..we ate there just because my kids wanted to watch Fantasmic and with making reservations with them you get some good seats without waiting for hours ...dont get me wrong it was a great experience but with the price you can go anywhere else in Disneyland to eat and prices will probably lower.

Yelp
This location has been inconsistent with food quality and I went about a year and a half without visiting. My bestie and my parents are not fans, but when I saw they added a delicious sounding mule and a tasty sounding plant-based dish I wanted to try them out again. I'm so glad we did as both were amazing! The service was overall pretty good, though I wish they would have addressed a table with several unruly children. They were spinning the umbrellas outside and almost hit a neighboring table with it. Additionally, they came in contact with my cousin who was less than pleased. Though the ambiance was ruined, we both agreed we would try this again as the food was delicious and the drinks were refreshing.

Yelp
I honestly only made reservations to this place because I was getting the Fantasmic package and that they had vegan options. I ate here with my non vegan girlfriend and her family. The server was new and I thought the comment she made to me was so insensitive. One of the first things she said when she came to our table was: "I see we have someone with food allergies here?" Once I said i am vegan, her comment to me was: "So not really a food allergy". I was so shocked by the comment the only thing I could think of to say at the time was: "I'm allergic to many things that's why I am vegan". She didn't say anything afterward. What many people don't know about someone following a vegan lifestyle is that it's not a religion like what people think it is. I can't automatically switch to animal meat and seafood. I will get really sick when I consume any animal meat or seafood. For all menu items, food came with a starter, an entree, and a beverage (alcohol not included). I ordered the only three vegan options: Plant Based Deviled Meatball Skillet (Grits, Mustard BBQ and Peppers, & Onions), Plant Based Roasted Squash (Tomato Sauce, Succotash, Greens, & Tofu), and Plant Based Apple-Cranberry Oat Cobbler (Topped with Baked Streusel and Vanilla Ice Cream). My girlfriend ordered the farmhouse salad, pork chop, and housemade pudding. Her sister ordered the farmhouse salad, blackened fish (bass), and the Plant Based Apple-Cranberry Oat Cobbler as well. Her niece had the chicken skewers, fruits, and housemade pudding. No where on the menu said that all the food had a "kick to it" like what the server mentioned after we got our dishes. My girlfriend cannot eat spicy food so she had to get her pork chop switched out to the blackened fish where she just sliced off the top layers. The pork chop was way too dry even though she tried to cut off the top layers. We were not fans of the food. Only some parts to our dinner was good. I enjoyed my Plant Based Deviled Meatball Skillet and I liked the ice cream. For the Plant Based Roasted Squash, I didn't like the sauce and it just didn't go well with everything else. I only ate the tofu, some spinach, and the squash since it wasn't all mixed with the sauce. That oat cobbler was meh. Too sweet for my taste. My girlfriend and her sister thought the fish and house fries were okay. The chicken that her niece got was too bland/dry and she didn't want to eat it. They liked the House pudding. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I don't recommend the food or the service. Ambiance was typical of a restaurant.

Yelp
Had a great experience for a late lunch today at River Belle Terrace. I had reservations for a party of 6 at 3:15 pm. We check in about 3:00 and we were seated before 3:15. It was nice to sit inside in the air conditioning and get out of the crowd for a while. Our server was great! Service was quick. Our food arrived shortly after ordering. Everyone enjoyed their food. Some of the items ordered were the plant based meatballs, chicken pot pie soup, big belle sandwich and the farmhouse salad. You can't go wrong with any of them. I would eat here again!

Yelp
This is my go to Everytime I visit Disneyland. Their menu isn't always the same so be sure to check it before you book so that you know you have options for you and the family. This time around I got the pork belly salad and the burnt ends pasta and both were amazing. Fortunately I got seated inside where there was plenty of heavy ac to keep myself cool in the heat. The meat here is always of great quality. I can always rely on it to be so juicy and so flavorful. It's not too badly priced and it's a great place to sit down and relax and unwind after walking around so much and going on rides. It does require a reservation but that just means you're guaranteed a table when you come eat.

Yelp
We made reservations for dinner at the River Belle Terrace on a Wednesday. We waited for about 20 minutes after our reservation time before being seated, but we were happy to get an outside table right in front. It was perfect timing because the water show happened to be during our dinner time and we had a great view! I had the Burnt Ends Pasta which was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the kids menu had a good selection. We then ordered a couple pieces of the chocolate cake for dessert, which was very rich and filling. Nice end to a great meal!

Yelp
We ate a River Belle twice. Once for late breakfast and once for dinner. I got a breakfast plate and was pretty good. Bacon could have been crisper. Husband got a chicken sandwich. He said it was too much bread. The spiral fries were great. Both times we had really good service. Make reservations days in advance. They also require a credit card to hold the reservation. If you don't sho you get charges 10$ per person. All the restaurants in Disney did this.

Yelp
First time here for brunch and really enjoyed it. Nice menu and they accommodated my gluten allergy (most restaurants at Disneyland take this very seriously which I appreciate). Brunch menu was nice and included cocktails. Nice view of the River In Frontierland.

Yelp
Just survived lunch at the River Belle Terrace Restaurant in Disneyland! Pros: Amanda, our waitress, was a total rockstar - fast service and excellent customer service. The loaded fries and Big Belle sandwich were filling and delicious (although, let's be real, I was too hungry to care at that point). The atmosphere inside was adorable, and the fried chicken sandwich was a highlight. Cons: NO BATHROOMS, folks! I had to do the dreaded "I'm-so-sorry-l'm-gonna-make-you-leave-your-food-behind" dance with a family member to find the nearest restroom. And, of course, our food was cold by the time we got back. But hey, the friendly hostess and the riverboat views made up for it. I'll definitely be back - with a full bladder and a craving for that Country Cuban Sandwich. Pirates, here I come!
