Relocated in 2023 to a larger, art-filled space, Cibo blends Northern and Southern Italian dishes with a serious bar program and private dining rooms. Noted by local editors and consistently busy on reservation platforms, it’s downtown’s polished Italian choice.

Solid food and service, but a bit underwhelming overall We visited after seeing all the great reviews, and while the food was good, it didn’t quite blow us away. I had the New Zealand lamb, which was nicely cooked, though the polenta on the side lacked flavor for my taste. My partner’s Alfredo was solid. Service was very good—attentive and professional. The restaurant itself is nice, but something about the atmosphere didn’t feel as warm or welcoming as we expected. For the price and quality, it’s a decent spot and I’d give it another shot—maybe with a different dish next time

First time coming here, my veal was cooked to perfection and our meals were delivered quickly. The Chocolate Dream for dessert was a Dream come true! The ambiance is warm and vibes!

We went the day after Valentine’s Day for a late dinner and had a nice time. The place was packed so I would encourage a reservation. Some of the dishes were better than others. The highlights for us were their table bread with the best butter you ever tasted and their wagyu meatballs appetizer. Those alone deserve five stars. However, the lasagna and the lamb chops entree were let downs. Definitely wished we could have enjoyed them. The clam appetizer was fine just a tad bit overdone. We are open to going back, trying some other dishes, and hopefully liking them much better.

Google
We are from Chicago and NYC so we know good Italian food. First off they give you unlimited bread and pesto butter, so good. The clam appetizer is so delicious very fresh. We had Lamb chops, Grilled Salmon and a side of Spaghetti with marinara. Ended with delicious chocolate cake. Very authentic.

The pesto butter and the squid ink linguini were AWESOME. Service was exceptional, helped us choose a great wine. Everyone from front to back was so friendly and welcoming. Easy parking around back. We will be back!

The spaghetti meat tasted like cat food—definitely not the worst meal ever, but far from worth the $18. The flavor and texture were pretty bad. That said, the service was absolutely amazing! Sarah was sweet, kind, attentive, helpful, and answered all my questions with a smile. She truly made the evening special. This review isn’t meant to be rude—just honest about the food. The restaurant itself was clean and beautiful, and the service was wonderful!

Spectacular wine selection and tastefully crafted dishes. Lovely ambience. Perfect for a date night! I should add that I've never tasted shrimp cooked so perfectly.

From start to finish this place performed as expected. We came on a busy Friday night and asked the hostess if there's any chance in us getting a spot and she said close to an hour away. But we decided to wait since we have been wanting to go here for a long time. We walked around downtown waiting in roughly 15 minutes after placing our reservation, and the hostess called and said we had a table ready! We sat outside of the courtyard which is very beautiful and romantic. From the drinks, appetizers, and main course everything was firing on all cylinders. The only thing that missed was my wife's steak. It was overcooked when it first came out, and with a brief talk with the manager, she encouraged us to send it back for a new one. When the new one came out it was blue rare. Note taken, don't order steak from an Italian restaurant I had to veal in a white cream sauce and it was the best veal I have ever eaten. The wagyu meatballs were the best meatballs I have ever had and will return just to have those again!!! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was top notch.

Yelp
Our first time visiting Cibo Trattoria. I had the Seafood Linguine and it was very tasty! The sauce was incredible. There is plenty of seating, but they also take reservations. The restaurant has a good vibe and is not pretentious. Our server was very attentive and our food came out very quickly. We will be back!

Yelp
Coco Trattatoria was good but it wasn't spectacular. I had high hopes based on reviews. The server was good. The food was good but just good. Our party had an appetizer and 4 different entrees. So we tried a lot. The zucchini frittes was okay. We could find any zucchini. All we ate was batter. Not worth the cost. The Caesar salad was bland. Pasta needed salt and pepper desperately. The seafood in my pasta was probably the best thing I ate. The restaurant was very nice in doors. They accommodated my friend in a wheelchair. I will like go back to try some other items.

Yelp
All around a gem in Winston! Excellent service food and wine pairings. Ambience is first rate. Our 2nd visit. Looking towards our 3rd.

Yelp
This was my first visit to the newer location. There are lots of parking options and the location is great if you want to spend the evening downtown. The inside is modern and open. They offer a variety of table sizes and even a private room. Our server was great. We enjoyed our meal. They brought out a basket of bread with pesto butter. They had two types of bread and both were tasty. My husband and I split the tomato and Buratta appetizer. I really enjoyed it and would order it again . The seafood pasta was excellent. All of the seafood was cooked well and the sauce was very tasty. My husband loved his lobster ravioli and was happy to see that still on the menu. I also enjoyed a strawberry Bellini, which was perfect for a warm Friday evening. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and plan to come back in future.

Yelp
My go to place for celebrating birthdays. The food is always good. One favorite is the gnocchi. It is not on the menu, but on the specials board. Be sure to try it! They have a large selection of wines by the glass and a complimentary birthday dessert for that special person. Festive, upbeat restaurant with free parking behind the building. Just take a picture of your license plate and show it to the hostess. Now go celebrate someone!

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise to find authentic Italian food in Winston-Salem. Chicken Francese, roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach were delicious. Efficient, friendly service made my dinner even better. Great spot which will now be my go to restaurant in Winston-Salem.

Yelp
I had my birthday dinner here recently and it was great. I made the reservation for 10 people but it ended up being 15 and they were very accommodating. We arrived around 7pm and we seated along the long booth with 3-4 tables pushed together. We had a couple servers who were very friendly and attentive. We started with a round of drinks and then placed our entree orders - there was a little bit of everything on the table0 beer, wine, cocktails, pastas, chicken parm etc. I started with a prosecco and then tried a specialty cocktail, the lucky luciano (Knob creek, grand marnier, muddled mint, lemon juice, bitters, orange twist.) For my entree, I went with chicken fettuccine alfredo. And I ended with the spicy snowman dessert drink. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals and drinks as well. All in all, I'm glad I chose this spot to celebrate and I would definitely come back!

Yelp
I went to cibo trattoria for an early Valentine's Day date with my boyfriend. The ambiance was so beautiful with high lighting, spacious tables and warm decor filled with wood. We started off with drinks the ginger gold rush and La Fresca both were so refreshing! I had the duck gnocci which was an interesting twist! I do wish the gnocci had more bounce and the sauce was more flavorful but overall a tasty but simple dish. The steak no complaints just wish it came with other veggies. Classic dishes with a nice atmosphere perfect for family dinners, celebrations, or a simple date night!

Yelp
We made reservations at Cibo and loved the new location! The space is huge and can accommodate so many more customers than the previous location. Unfortunately, the food here continues to fall a little flat for me. We usually enjoy the meatballs but this particular night they were really spicy. I ordered chicken parmesan and with every bite, I was wishing I had more marinara sauce to slurp up with the dry noodles. So much of the pasta had no sauce at all. My sister ordered the cheese ravioli they had on special and it was delicious. I loved the alfredo sauce, it was fresh and tasted homemade. Duck isn't really my thing but my husband ordered the duck gnocchi and enjoyed it. My dad had the lasagna also on special. The complementary bread is tasty especially when you slather on some of that herb butter. I think for Winston, this is a good spot for Italian food and I really like that they take reservations.

Yelp
My husband and I sat at the bar. Had a nice glass of wine and wonderful dinner. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Another surprise was the bread with basil pestobutter. It was delicious.

Yelp
Ever since our trip to Italy we have been missing the food and wine. So we made a reservation at Cibo Trattoria. Beautiful restaurant with plenty of room for large groups. We started with a red wine, Michele Chiarlo "II Principe" Nebbiolo Piedmont. For an appetizer we had the Zucchine De Involtini appetizer. Service was very friendly and quick. We shared the Cheese Tortellini with Shrimp, Italian sausage, pepper, spicy tomato cream sauce which came with a bread basket with herb butter. Of course my husband had to top off the meal with an espresso. Atmosphere, wine and food were perfect. Our taste for Italy had been satisfied. If you park in lot behind restaurant, they can validate parking.

Yelp
This time when we came into town we made reservations. Since they moved locations they had way more space than last year so I don't think we actually needed to make reservations but that's okay because it was still delicious. We loved the Alfredo with rigatoni last time so we got an order of that plus gnocchi with Alfredo. The kids loved the bread (minus the pesto butter than my younger dubbed "cabbage butter") and pasta... we all loved the pasta. I would have been okay with more noodles since the gnocchi was good but really thick and filling so next year we will probably just get two orders of the Alfredo and rigatoni noodles. The server Miss Danny (Danielle) was great. She brought us everything we needed and was super nice. We are already looking forward to coming back when we visit for Dance Revolution next year.

Yelp
We tried the new location today. Beautiful spot with so much more seating! The seafood risotto is now one of my all time favorite dishes. I can't wait to come back and get it again. Worth every penny of that $41.

Yelp
Caesar Salad add Salmon is my go to meal when im not feeling a full dinner. Cibo Didnt miss, The char on the salmon was perfect and the salad wasn't overdressed. Quiet inside and wait staff are prompt and eager to help each other. Will definitely be back

Yelp
I wish I could have done 4.5 stars on this one. It was a good experience. Food was very good. In fact, I liked it so much that I was eating before I could take a picture. The wagyu meatballs are really good. The sauce is spicy and flavorful with tons of garlic (which I love). If the meatballs are more moist It would have been perfect. The zucchini fritte was above average. Very thin and crispy enough. Picante sauce was spot on. The pollo alla prosciutto was average. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The sauce was flavorful. The spinach felt like it was from a frozen package and felt like it had not absorbed any of the flavor. The service was very good. It was a little busy and noisy for a Thursday evening but I guess that's an indication of the quality of their food.

Yelp
Amazing food! I love this place!! So yummy yum yummm. Great service as well!! Highly recommend

Timothy S.

Yelp
who is giving this place five stars. whats your pallet Oliva Garden? The food was mediocre at best and the service was worse. if you can't get calamari right then don't call yourself Italian. I had the lamb chops they were under and the the plate was over seasoned with pepper. we had to ask for bread. It was a hodgepodge of pesto and ounce cup of with Italian calamari had no seasoning good thing it was served with lemon and the wedges. The Italian wine was the best part of the meal I had high hopes going in unfortunately Carrabba's serves a better Italian meal for a fraction of the price it was very noisy. We made reservations, however for a Saturday night at 7 PM there were plenty of open tables. That should say something!

Yelp
The food was delicious! Upscale dining with a beautiful interior. Valet service is a must when it's raining! Nuzio was a wonderful waiter and super attentive. Galentines Day dinner here was a big hit and can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
A very spacious Italian trattoria with a variety of pasta dishes, to please meat lovers and pescatarian and vegetarians. Brightly lit and ample parking spots in downtown. Kendall took great care of us and was quick to replace a dish that was a mistake and rectified it so fast we were so pleased with her quick timing. The food itself was delicious, a beautiful amount and flavor and texture was a wonderful al dente. I am excited to try their other flavors - they even have seasonal items to try.

Yelp
The ambiance was beautiful for a chilly night! I had a seasonal special, the butternut squash gnocchi, and it was delicious.

Yelp
Love this place! I've been here a couple times and will continue to visit. The bar staff is very friendly and outgoing. I'm always met with a smile and amazing service. The food is amazing! I've had a few things off of the menu, this time I started with the Brussel sprouts con prosciutto and was very happy with it. If you're like me and like your Brussel sprouts almost burnt, ask them to over cook them or leave them in the oven for a couple more minutes though. For my main course I had the pollo al Francese. I'll start with the good. The flavor of the wine sauce was delicious, the potatoes and spinach were amazing complements to the chicken. The chicken however was not what I expected. It is served breaded and plated in a pool of the sauce so it essentially felt like soggy fried chicken when I ate it. I told the bar tender it wasn't what I expected and she immediately asked if she could do anything to help. I asked her for a grilled chicken breast to swap with the breaded chicken and had it ready for me in less than 5 minutes. That made the dish perfect in my opinion and I took what I could t eat home with me. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty good. From the bar, the volume from the rest of the restaurant is pretty loud but once you get into conversation with another person or focus on your meal you start to not notice it.

Yelp
New location! New update .....it's been along time since I went to Cibo, they are now located on liberty st, in a brand new outfitted location which is nice and spacious, great decor, but not stuffy, just nice enough with a great bar as you enter, booths, tables and a private room that holds 40. I have changed my rating to a 5 purely because this time we had a fantastic experience from the minute we got there til we left, everything was just top notch. Food especially! Our server Daniel was awesome, making sure we were happy and just really pleasant. Also love it when you ask to try a wine, Daniel bought all 3 of us a sample. We got a nice booth in the back close to the kitchen. You can't really see the kitchen as you can in many restaurants these days , but you can hear it and tell it's there. We got a bottle of wine, the Montepulciano was perfect with food, nice and dry. We started with the Brussels sprouts , now I've had these at many places, these were exceptional, flash fried, there was bacon, I think or pancetta, onions, balsamic, and little dusting of Parmesan. A great app with amazing flavor. Completely flavorful. Then we shared the eggplant Parmesan, very different sauce from most places, this was a creamier red sauce, thin cuts of breaded eggplant, again fantastic and very comfort foodesque. If that's a word! Every bit of that was gone with their bread basket, which was also really good. Italian bread and focaccia. Comes out nice and warm. With butter and pesto butter. We tried one of the many specials they had, the butternut squash gnocchi, in a creamy tomato sauce, but a little different from the one in the eggplant. Wow, complete winner of the night. With sliced mushrooms in the sauce, this was my favorite dish and a hearty plate of housemade gnocchi. Everything about this dish was just amazing. The creamy sauce, the texture of the gnocchi, loved the mushrooms, and a huge plate, that 3 of us shared and struggled to finish. Definitely try this if it's a special. Celebrating our birthdays they have two of us free desserts. Which was super nice. The obvious choice was the housemade tiramisu, and yes you should always try this in an Italian restaurant. This was just perfect, nicely soaked sponge but not overly alcoholy tasting, nice and creamy with choc chips, this was the perfect end to a stellar dinnner. I love how it stayed together too, a lot of tiramisu I've had I are too creamy and fall apart, this held up. The other dessert we picked also because they make it in house is the strawberry rum cake. You can't really taste the rum, but nicely soaked, with a nice strawberry sauce, nice creamy frosting, it was a nice rich cake, This time at Cibo, I was completely surprised how good everything was. All the servers and hosts were so nice, which in my opinion is a huge reflection on how they are trained. My hats off to the chefs, I couldn't fault one thing and cannot wait to come back ! Loved the new location too!

Yelp
I was in the mood for Italian and based off other Yelp Reviews gave Cibo Trattoria a try while I was in Winston-Salem. They had a ton of great options too choose from and their specials all sounded amazing. Their calamari was good, always one of my favorite Apps to start with and I enjoyed the Rigatoni Alla Vodka. Overall, it was a pretty nice place with a lot of great pasta options.
google avatar

Ana H.

Yelp
Service is excellent since you walk in, and the place is very cozy and romantic but the food wasn't the best, I got the chicken allá funghi e vino and honestly it looked like those microwaveable food, sauce looked like a gravy and the chicken was hard. I'm a bit disappointed I had high expectations about this place. The calamari were good.
google avatar

Joel L.

Yelp
Good Italian food but not great. Loved their selections of Wines, wasn't too please with the portion sizes but still very good food nonetheless.

Hui Z.

Yelp
Main dining area was booked out. Are at the bar. Bartender was nice. The pasta was great. Chicken with mushrooms was meh. A bit on the salty side. Typical bar ambiance.
google avatar

Cathleen E.

Yelp
Ate here for the first time after hearing many friends talk about this restaurant. We thought the food and service was very good. We had the calamari which was so very tasty, but disappointed in the serving size for the price. I had the Rigatoni Alla Vodka and although different from original Vodka sauces I have had, this was delicious. My husband had the spaghetti with Wagyu meat sauce and that too was very tasty. They do have bread for the table at no fee, but think the bread we got was old as it few pieces were stale and the others were very spongy. All in all, we enjoyed the meal and will go back to try again and hope the bread is freshly baked and maybe portion for calamari not so small :)

Yelp
Be careful you never know who you are serving.... Sometimes the people who look like humble have more money and power than the people who come to impress....

Yelp
We had family in town and were all in the mood for Italian Simone suggested we try Cibo and we are all glad we did! I started with an aperol spritz and opted for the puttanesca. The rest of my party varied from pomegranate margs and beers to ginger ale. As far as the food we had chicken parm, manicotti, and a sea bass dinner special that almost made me regret my own choice. The food and drinks were all good and we all agreed that we would go back again. As it was all enjoyable. But the real star of the show was Joann she was the sweetest server and made sure we had all we needed and really knew her menu. She was personable, kinda and efficient! We will always request to sit with her!

Yelp
Place was excellent ! Really enjoyed the sauce and all the food had a lot of great taste and flavor profiles. I'm from NY and this was decently comparable to the quality I've had up there on LI. Appetizer selection was diverse and there was definitely plenty more I wanted to try. Calamari was a bit bland. Desserts were also quite tasty. Service was super attentive and friendly. Our server even let us add some minor customizations to our orders without hesitation ! The ambiance was very relaxing and dim lighting, which was key for a lovely intimate dinner. Will definitely return to try more dishes!

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for a while & finally decided to come on a busy Saturday evening. It's a small space, so the tables weren't that spacious in between. My table was maybe 1ft apart from the others beside me. However, the ambiance was quite relaxing. My waitress was very attentive. I ordered a Caesar salad with a glass of Riesling to start, followed by the Frutti di Mare al Cognac, a second glass of Riesling and their Rum cake to top it all off. The food was tasty, but not as flavorful as other Italian restaurants I've visited. Would I come here again? Absolutely. I'd love to try more of their dishes!

Ruth B.

Yelp
Great service & cool vibe. The veal piccata with mushroom risotto was tender with a delicate and delicious sauce. Will definitely return!

Yelp
New location is fabulous! The food is always wonderful. It is noisy but that can be fixed. Congrats to Freddy in another winning restaurant for WS.

Yelp
We came to Cibo randomly on a Tuesday night after an afternoon of rock climbing. Despite being a week night it was very crowded, but still managed to get seats outside. It was slightly cold, but heaters were placed throughout. My friend wasn't as impressed with the service (wait staff was somewhat apathetic/not as attentive). We ordered some calimari and I had the linguine pescatore. The breading on the calimari was a little lacking, as if they didn't dredge the squid, leaving an annoyingly little amount of breading. My pasta tasted fine, but nothing outstanding. I definitely did not taste much depth or complexity to the sauce as one of the reviewers did.

Sydney B.

Yelp
Intimate vibes / Great service / Yummy pasta choices! Good spot for a date night or celebration with friends

Yelp
Best Italian in Winston Salem. Great new space! Service is great! 1st time here and we will be back!
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Cibo Trattoria has both inside and outside seating on a patio and the sidewalk in front. Even though I had reservations for a table I was put in high top seating at the front window. They gave me a bad spot as it was near the front door too so got very cold as the door was constantly opening and where people stood to be seated. It was not relaxing at all or a pleasant experience. Service was very slow to even acknowledge I was there and again super slow to get the check. I ordered the Alfredo with shrimp. It was $8 for 4 shrimp. The meal was good but nothing I'd return for. I will not dine here again after the bad service and awful table.
google avatar

Yelp
I had high hopes and Cibo delivered! Everything was delicious. Even the herb butter that came with the complementary bread was full of flavor! The Chicken Parmesan was outstanding and amazingly cheesy. We also ordered the burrata and meatball appetizers and they were fantastic. However the absolute winner tonight was the Special- butternut squash gnocchi with crispy pancetta and a ridiculously delicious tomato cherry cream sauce. OH MY GOSH!! There were literally layers of flavor in this dish and you can taste every single one. You can tell someone thought long and hard about exactly what to put in this dish and it's unbelievable. I am so glad we finally came here! You can taste the quality and feel the heart of this place. The staff was kind, courteous, and patient. The atmosphere was beautifully simple and relaxed. We will definitely be coming back!

Caitlin V.

Yelp
We had a large group dinner here this evening. The staff was more than accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend for a delicious meal and good time. Will be back!

Yelp
Sorry hit I scarcer my lobster raviolis down before I had a chance to take a picture! It had a tomatoes cream sauce that was incredible! We went with the calamari and misti salad to start. Dinner was great!!!

Yelp
It was another perfect evening in Winston-Salem for dining outside! The food here is amazing!!!! Comfort food with an Italian flare!

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is amazing! So classy! Amazing service. Huge wine selection and full bar with bar area separate from dining. We had the meatball appetizer and it was delicious. Server memorized a large special menu. I ended up with lobster ravioli which may have been the best i ever tasted.

Yelp
The food and service was great but the crème brûlée was very eggy it tasted like scrambled eggs

Yelp
My first visit here was stopping in and having a glass of wine. I had never heard of it and saw it while walking to the Mast General store. A week or 2 later I made reservations via Open Table. We arrived and after a few minutes we were sat at a 2-top table along the wall. The restaurant is very small and tables are packed in very close together. It was so tight that the wait staff could not get to either table beside us without their butt knocking items on our table. I can assure you it was not because of the build of the waitstaff, it was due to the 4-6 inches they had between tables in a room the size of a WW-I submarine. But I am getting ahead of myself. We sat for a solid 10-15 minutes before anyone greeted us at our table and I believe she was a manager. We ordered a bottle of wine a waters. When she returned we asked a few questions about the menu and inquired about what was made from scratch. Only one style of pasta was made from scratch and the sauces they say were made from scratch. More about that later. We decided to try the highly rated meatballs (with their "homemade" sauce). Now I love a good Italian meatball and this was far from it. They are to be tender, juicy, and flavorful. Their meatball had none of these characteristics. They were very dense, overcooked and dry in their "homemade" sauce. They were obviously over handled by their maker and tasted as if they were cooked hours, maybe days earlier and sat around until heated back up to be served to us. #mistake We were eventually greeted by our waitress as the bottle of wine was delivered and she was very nice but seemed overwhelmed. When she delivered our meatballs she also took our entree order. Our entrees were delivered almost immediately as We were still gnawing through our first meatball. Now we have a problem. The table was not large enough to hold 2 entrees, an appetizer, a bottle of wine, 2 water glasses and a bread basket. I mean even before the appetizer was delivered items on our table and ourselves were subjected to a booty bump. On several occasions we had to rearrange our table to accommodate items being delivered to our neighboring tables to avoid spillage. In any case we had to sacrifice items to make room for the entrees. I did have a hard time selecting an entree and to be honest the recommendations were all over the place. The menu descriptions sounded good but I was a bit concerned as I saw items being delivered to tables and they just looked unappealing. The manager did rave about all of their sauces but their marinara was a must try. Please keep in mind....she also RAVED about how great their meatballs were. I went with a spaghetti dish with seafood. I can't recall the name but it had shrimp and scallops. My wife opted for a dish with chicken in it and also can't recall the name but as I just asked her she described it as kids chicken tenders with canned mushrooms and peas with slime sauce. We always share bites of each other plates and I will also add in that the chicken was as dry and tasteless as Myrtle Beach sand. I will say...shockingly...that the spaghetti noodle was cooked Al Dante but that's where the good ends. It was a low quality box noodle cooked in unsalted water. I can say that this was absolutely the worst "homemade" marinara I have ever had. Their definition of homemade may be different than mine. They may combine several canned or frozen products into a pot and call it homemade. They may consider using the cheapest tomato product as acceptable. I say however that none of this is acceptable especially at the price point of their meals. The seafood was tossed on top of the heap of noodles and sauce and lacked any flavor at all, I mean for the love of anything they could have at least sprinkled something on them. It tasted as if they took them from the freezer and boiled them in water. After the food was delivered we did not see the waitress again and I was not offered any grated Parmesan until my wife flagged someone down. Even here the restaurant fell short. The waiter retuned with a bowl of pre-graded "Parmesan" but we all know it was not from a block of cheese. It was the same processed "shaky" cheese you get off the shelf at the grocery store. Sadly, This place was not good and perhaps they are surviving in the successes of Pauls. At this same price point however, you can go to a real Italian restaurant and enjoy scratch made noodles and sauce, not worry about clumps of dust falling off the ceiling fan, or being packed into a WWI submarine getting booty bumped all night.

Yelp
I've been to Cibo a couple of times now and I've never been disappointed! I love their food, it's always fresh and has some delicious Italian flavors that seal the deal. Make sure to check out their wine menu, they have some great selections to go with the food! The vibes are great and make for an upscale casual food setting. Also take a chance and sit outside to enjoy some more of Winston-Salem. As for service, the first time I went was great and the server took great care of us. The second time may have been an off day for the server and it looked like the server was annoyed with anything we requested. But no reason to bring down a full star for that, I look forward to the next time I come back :)

Yelp
We got the special with lobster and cognac cream sauce. The lobster was overcooked. Spending 92.00 for 2 orders with overcooked lobster was a bit much! The rest of our group liked their order. The tiramisu was not very good per all but we did like the crème brûlée. I was really looking forward to this meal but was disappointed. Sad. Ambiance was nice.

Yelp
Why haven't I been here? This is such a cute little Italian restaurant downtown Winston with amazing dishes. Made reservations right when they open & was treated very well from the moment I walked in. Everyone was friendly & welcoming. Ordered a holiday beverage, the spicy snowman. It's rumchata vodka & cinnamon liqueur. So good! I ordered a Caesar salad to start & my friend ordered calamari. For the entrees I ordered the Rigatoni & my friend ordered the manicotti. We were both very pleased with how delicious the food was. We both ordered dessert, crème brûlée & strawberry rum cake, the rum cake I ordered that to go. I tasted the crème brûlée and it was to die for! Creamy & sweet. It was perfect! This might actually be added to my favorite restaurant in Winston. I will be back to try the other dishes!

Yelp
I had the pasta prosciutto, and I didn't have a lot of flavor to it sauce, I also ordered some meatballs that came out very dry herbs it taste like it was just meat and bread, the Alfredo sauce had a good texture too, but again it was not as flavorful as I would hope it to be for a cheese sauce. is there anything else I can get for you whenever you're ready?

Yelp
I hate to say this because the food and staff are good, but I won't be coming back here any time soon. Bartender who made our drinks had his mask down half the time, was within the bar's width from unmasked customers with his mask down, touched his mouth and nose then made drinks without sanitizing his hands. Just a disaster. I have worn a mask during 10 to 12 hour work days. It's not fun. That's beside the point.
